Hi, I purchased Donic Table Tennis bat from HyperCity, Meenaxi mall, Bannerghattha Road, Bangalore. This Table Tennis bat i purchased for cost of rs.1069, when i opened the pack and started playing i found the quality of bat is very poor without sponge and just hard wood inside it. I was unable to push the ball other side. I then researched and found the bat i purchased the same quality bats are in market for Rs.250. I went to HyperCity and ask them to replace the bat or give another product for the same or lesser price, but instead of taking care of customer they started arguing and straight away said you cannot return this product because the pack is opened. I continously requested them that until an unless if i won't open the cover how will i come to know wheather the table tennis bat is good or duplicate. Finally they disagree on taking back the product. Please help me out, its not about just 1069Rs. but the way this big HyperCity mall is not understanding the consumer's problem and selling them very low quality products with higher price is a big issue.

Please let me know where i can get justice.

      False promises and took customer for ride. By the staff of hyper-city thane GB road..
      I need a clarification form the team of home entertainment who did the sale provided by your executive and Team leader who approved it…
      Customer is taken for a ride at store here. I booked a LCD under summer offer and i have been not told that i am not eligible for
      Gift voucher of Rs.3000 and Rs. 500 for salon, which is been promised by the executive who sold me for
      Purchase of LCD TV Panasonic LCD TV?? and same… if you’re having arrogant People like Neha gupta (TL) who informs me that person who did the sale is out of town and on leave..
      So called floor manager Sumeet phulwani , Nowhere seen in the picture before sale, comes and folds his hands with is body gesture hands folded, that I am not gone listen to you and whatever we say is true and let the customer suffer ?? He explains that even though we will give you the coupon and that will be of No use.is he sharing is pocket money from his salary towards the customer the things he spoke NO other customer can understand nor listen to him to customers, he speaks like a robot teaching me about the hypercity process...
      Is it true that customer need to learn about the product & process knowledge of hypercity and then enter hypercity for any purchase and customer waste their money here right?
      Is customer gone have the product knowledge from outside and then purchase as per their will?? Definitely they will go somewhere else... (More,D-mart..etc…)
      Is mr.sumeet Phulwani in his whole sense while speaking to customer or me??
      So why don't Hypercity start consumer product knowledge outside the store and let all your consumer has training first then Do the shopping...
      i have to take strict legal action on your store. Very one is irresponsible staff enjoying within themselves and not even attending the customer??
      Along with and arrogant staff is been introduce in Hyper-city G.B road thane w..
      I stay few blocks away from the mall and always purchased many things and henceforth have to De frame about the LOOP holes and misguidance and see to it that NO! Person enters Hypercity for their misguidance which is not appropriate? For same @ my friends or anyone enter Hypercity is it right!!!
      I want to know, ask if neha gupta (TL) spoke to her sales executive and approved, then why haven’t she spoke with the customer for cross check and clarification?? About the gift voucher?
      Thus she think as team operational manager coz yesterday evening to i have been to store she was like busy on whole store cared by her,Own self not at all willing to help. Made me wait for more than 30 mins…
      I have seen people staff and administration doesn't even stick to the standardization of working policy :( very bad administration note it...
      i need a compensation for trauma and phone calls made by me suffered for past 2 days and negative attitude by your so called floor managers and irrespective TL who herself don't know what she spoke with her executive.... need a resolution at earliest ...

      Please note: keep staff who can understand English, Hindi and Marathi... Coz I have seen every staff English is gone for a toss very funny isn’t it 

          I purchased a cloth(a white kurti with silver block print) from hypercity shop at Alpha one mall, vastrapur area, ahmedabad,Gujarat. I washed it before using with only plain water without using any other chemical or soap and the silver colour faded making it useless for wearing.I called at the customer care centre (tollfree no - [protected]) but did not get favourable reply. they told me that as I have washed it, it is not in a resellable condition and so they will not exchange or replace it. I was not going to give it back if it was of good quality and in good condition. If the silver print was not faded, there was no issue of exchange or return. I have kept the tag and it is not written on it that it needs dry clean or there is no gurantee of colour. - as such white colour doesnot need gurantee of colour. As I am not given justice, I have to file a complaint with consumer forum.

              I have purchased a 3 door Zuari wardrobe from the Hypercity store in Inorbit Mall, Hyderabad on 22nd Oct 2011 (Order No.[protected]. It was delivered on 26th of Oct. Two guys visited our house for assembling the stuff on 30th Oct, while assembling they found some components of the wardrobe were missing. Then one of the guys called up the store in charge/ manager to let them know that some components are missing. The guy on the other end assured that the missing components will be delivered within 30 minutes. After that no further communication happened from Hypercity.

              Despite several attempts from our side to talk to the concerned people in the store, no body from the store picks the phone. Finally, we managed to talk to the customer care executive in Bombay and narrate the entire story. We were told repeatedly by these customer care people that all the complaints will be handled within a day and always gives the false promises that the concerned manager will talk to you within 15 minutes time. In one of my visit to the Hypercity store, the sales people in the store dealt this issue with highly unprofessional and callous manner. Finally I got the missing components on 2nd Nov and the customer care people assured us that it will be assembled next day i.e. 3rd NOV. But nobody turned up till 10th of Nov.

              Since they have opened the packets, the WARDROBE components has almost occupied two rooms making our lives miserable for last 3 weeks. Its a harassment and mental agony as every single day we have to make calls to the store to know about the assembling of the parts and end up listening to some false promises from the customer care executives.

              Finally on 11th Nov, they send two guys to assemble the wardrobe, but to our dismay they found that wardrobe has mismatched components i.e. the body is of a different wardrobe size and doors are for some other. They did not fit in the first place.

              After that, despite several call to the store no body responds till today (22nd Nov). The full payment for the whole set has been made on 22nd Oct 2011.

                Packed food section is full of expired products. I visited the store in last week of October 2011 and found one section with juice products which were expired in April 2011 !!! And when I showed this to the store boy, he just gave a smile and kept it back to the shelf. Selling expired food products is worst crime you can do to a consumer.

                  I have purchased a treadmill worth 34999 from HYPERCITY Hyderabad as they said there is a cashback of 5% if you use ICICI Card.
                  i asked them for some discount however they said we are having cashback offer so use that.
                  I used icici credit card and purchased the product.

                  I did not get cashback so, i called icici bank and they said please contact the merchant.
                  i called up hypercity and they said please contact icici bank.
                  Finally after 10 followups i received Rs 500 cashback. if you calculate 5% of 34999 then it is rs 1750.

                  Hypercity has given fake offer.

                  I was told the same and when I called ICICI they said the offer never existed :(

                  did not get the cashback yet.
                  I had the same case, I bought XBOX and hypercity ppl said that there is discount gng on, when the money did not credit in my account at the end of the month I called ICICI to hear that there was no offer @ that time.

                  I have not got the cashback yet. Please let me know how you got it.

                    On 02-Sep-2011, I had visited Hypercity(Vashi) in Inorbit mall for purchasing of a Gas stove. I had liked a specific model 2 burner Glen Cooktop - GL1025SS. As per Hypercity sticker on product, the MRP of the item was Rs 3690 and their offer price was Rs 2999 (as if they were offering special discount on it). When I had close look at the product box, the MRP put by the manufacturing company (Glen) itself was Rs. 2790. I was surprised and shocked by these malpractices of Hypercity. I thought they would have done some mistake, so I checked with their customer representative. To my dismay, the person (who himself introduced me as Group leader), simply refused to acknowledge the mistake. He told me that whatever the price they have is from the system and it is always correct. I also found him arrogant and do whatever you can do, I don't care type. And that is where a general consumer feel hurt, who is taken for granted by Hypercity. Issue is not about the price, but being cheated. I am not sure how Hypercity can charge exorbitant MRP than actual one. Probably they are doing it for other products too. I did not purchase the product and had taken vow not to shop at it again after this bitter experience.

                    Hi,

                    Yesterday Night i brought Olive Roasted chicken from Hypercity, when i opened in my home, there was a foul smell coming from the chicken., immediately i trowed in the dustbin. This is the second time it happened, during first time i complained in the hyper-city mall in vashi, I dont know what sort of action taken from them, This is really seems to be audit strictly in food items. And please take immediate action against this.

                      After getting various quotes from different modular kitchen vendors i have made my mind to go with Sleek kitchens(Hyper City Hyderabad) even thought the quote was a bit costlier for my relatively smaller

                      sized kitchen due to their brand name and fit and finish of their products i expected there would be peace of mind and after sales support. . My kitchen is a corridor or parallel type where one side its 4.15 feet / 50 inches by length and 23 inch by depth & the other side with 7.5feet/90inches length and 23 inch deep. My first interaction was with Mr.N.Srinivas (Site Supervisor ) who was a bit friendly and approchable which made me to go ahead with Sleek after himself explaining to me what can be done. Then I met Mr.Maheswara Chary (Sr.Kitchen Designer who is not at all friendly and always have a bit rude tone- no sir not possible types) As per the procedures he took measurements saying every mm counts and we need to design your kitchen exactly and came up with a design. I could only go for bottom cabinets which was designed as per my needs and a final copy of the same with 2d design printout was shown to me promising me that what u see is what you get as final kitchen with no more extra charges with 30 - 40 days time with a final quote of rs 86,242 which includes 20,000 rs by cash for doing civil modification work as suggested by mr maheshwara chary to demolish the existing civil work done by builder and to lay marble verticals for the cabinets to be installed. The guys assigned to do the civil work was totally unprofessional and gave a lot of headache to me to get the work done by them. So then the civil work started and i was prompted to maek 50 % of payment to procure the materials. later the next day he called up and said he missed out just 3 baskets in the quote so I have to pay 8000+ extra. when i asked how could you miss out 3 baskets and give me a final quote that this is your kitchen cost and all. his reply was like sir all r fine just 3 baskets missed in the quote i[censored] dont pay i dont order or else its up to you to cancel your kitchen order !!! I am very much disppaoined with this not only loosing my peace of mind and also tough time dealign with these people who are not able to communicate well in english and who are never professionally trained. I would personally not suggest sleek kitchens till I see these kind o[censored]n professional attitude with sales people. Either Sleek have to look in to this and train then hard or replace them with customer friendly people who will be responsible and to nto forget that if they loose the customers they loose their business !!!

                      I found the helpline number from their website and spoke to Mr. Viral Desai (Brand Managaer) explaining my problem. He assured me that one of their managers will get in touch with me the next day regardign this.The next day i called up Mr.. Vishwanath Phalke regarding this and explained to him as well & he forwarded the issue to South zone manager Mr.Amit Solanke who will be takign care from there to resolve my issue.

                      Thanks to them for explaining me the issue in a kind way, assuring me the reliability and the quality of their services, as well as acceptance of the human error un-intentionally caused by mr.mahesh. More to that they offered me a good discount in the difference amount understanding my situation and adding one more happy customer. The mistake happened un-intentionally was rectified in a professional way and i appreciate the way they handled things from the point I called up the helpline number and spoke to mr.Viral desai seeking for Help.
                      Finally the issue is been solved as well as mr.mahesh apologized for his mistake.

                        I had recently bought a 1.5ton split AC from Hypercity in Inorbit Mall, hi-Tech city in Hyderabad. I was promised delivery the next day and installation the day after, since the delivery is handled by Hypercity and installation by the respective company, but Hypercity arranges that with them.

                        It has been 4 days now after the delivery and nobody from the company has come for installation despite repeated follow-ups with Hypercity. Their customer centre manager Rakesh had personally assured me yesterday that he had spoken to LG service centre and a technician would be visiting me, but to no avail. Today he has stopped taking my calls, and the service centre people always put my call on hold for 10-15 minutes. They keep making promises that they will speak or have spoken to LG, but today when I called up LG service centre myself there was no record of my complain there.

                        This is total rip-off. First sell the device and then don't install. I had to postpone shifting to my new house because of this, and even when I shifted yesterday I had to sleep in the heat.

                        Same case happened with me but the product I bought was Whirlpool 1.5 Ton A.C.
                        We got the replacement with Hitachi 1.5 Ton 3 Star. What is the thinking of Hypercity guys they are ready to do fraud with you but they dont want to mismatch their relation with Company people like Whirlpool, LG, Hitachi and all other companies whose products they are selling. In my case I visited five times to Hypercity and call almost more than 10 times. But any how I get it done. One of the sales man some thing Gogoi is very fraud... He is not good professional. He never tells true. Gogoi Fraud kahin ka... but any how after a long run I got my desirous product.

                        But their behaviour is not good at the time of replacement. One good way say them if they will not replace the product or they are not assuring any letter for replacement in 48 hours you return it to hypercity in your manner.

                          I had shopped in hyper city on 09/01/2011whose details are as follows. Shopped worth Rs. 6000/-.

                          Actually I was availing the shopping through voucher of Rs. 5000/- however due to the negligency by your cashier I had to shell extra around Rs. 1000/- I had purchased two long jeans worth rs. 899/- one dark blue and one light blue pant. However there is one more billing of Rs.899/- which I have not purchased. There was double entry with same no
                          On that day, the cashier Mr. Sachin was already arguing with one customer as he wanted to close down the counter. This argument continued for some time and the said customer who was irate moved to another counter while still the argument continued. When it was our turn at the counter, the cashier argued with us also and asked us also to go to another counter and we refused to go to another counter and when some senior person intervened he agreed to accept our billing in the same counter. In the commotion he messed with our bill and charged the same item twice. This error was identified once we checked after reaching home. It was not possible for us to take out the time and visit again as we stay at Dahisar east and we had to spend a huge amount as conveyance. However to get the amount back we visited hypercity last Sunday morning on 23/1/2011 after spending Rs. 350/- for the rickshaw to and fro
                          The customer service executive asked us to wait for an hour and after that they confirmed that there is no double charge. Even the senior team member Mr. Supriyo Mohanty refused to help stating that the product much be available at my home and that I should have checked all the items after billing and before leaving the counter which was next to impossible as the cashier had already delayed us whilst arguing and it was already 9.30 pm and there was lot of crowd. Also am I a fool to spend Rs. 350/- and visit hypercity to highlight the error fight for my right to get the amount back especially since I had to shell out extra cash due to the cashiers error and get my money back. I am heading the investor services dept of a financial company and I have various other imp assignments than to spend time /money and energy for this. According to Mr. Supriyo, double item is nothing but I have purchased the same product of the same size with same no twice . Why should I buy two similar items of the same size twice for my daughter…and ur counter also had only one item of each size (please check)
                          I again went up and the person at the Gini and Jony counter for investigating and the person there also agreed that there was a error and he accompanied me to the customer service counter. One lady Ms Vaishali was kind enough to agree and check the CC TV footage. However she could not verify with all the items and asked us to visit hypercity again with all the items…I just don’t understand as this would mean taking out time again ,spending money again for conveyance and waiting endlessly . Aslo I am not able to use the product which I had purchase for my daughter for wearing it on her birthday on 2/2/2011. Also last Sunday the bills were used by three to four of your staff and the items are not even legible now and this would be another excuse for hypercity to not refund my money saying that bill is not visible.
                          I have total 9 items at home purchased that day and you are reqested to send some one to check the items or make some arrangement for my visit as I have been advised not to travel by my doctor. Today is Saturday 29/01/2010 and I request hypercity to complete the entire process of checking /verifying and refunding the amount by tomorrow failing which I will esacalate this matter legally and claim extra penalty for mental harassment and torture in addition to advocate fees and reimbursements and will also ensure that this is published in all the leading news papers as well as media.
                          As this type of pathetic service is not expected from a reputed chain of malls

                            I bought a new handset "Samsung Galaxy S" paying more than Rs. 28,000 and when I opened the sealed box, it was a used piece. There were contacts, sms, and emails of previous owner of the phone.

                            I already showed it to the Floor Manager, but was in a hurry. She promised to follow up and send me and the vendor an email asap. There has been no communication ever since, and I have not received any email. She in returned just apologized, and gave 2 gifts (a "not for sale" bluetooth headset, and a useless speaker set).

                            I had to rush to Bangalore for business visit, and when I came back she still didn't follow up. I am right now operating a used phone which I am not even sure how much old it is. I have lost the trust of buying electronics from Hypercity and I want a new model (sealed) to be provided in exchange of this old model. I have the bill details and card statement with me.

                              On 13th Nov, 2010, when i did shopping worth 1034.24/- and
                              used my ABN AMRO (now renamed as RBS india) debit for payment, it got
                              charged 2 times.
                              I had visited your hypercity customer center on sunday (14th nov) and they asked
                              me to send few details which are as below:

                              This is the bill details:
                              Cash Memo #: 5846
                              Cashier: Shekhar
                              Register: 027
                              Time: 17:52
                              My Hypercity Discovery club membership no:[protected]
                              Bill Amount: 1034.24


                              I sent all these details on "[protected]@hypercityindia.com". But i didn't got any response back from them. I had got one mobile number of one guy in customer center but talking to him also didn't improve anything.

                              Now today (20th Nov, 2010) i have again visited hypercity and checked the status of my complaint and i found that they still haven't looked at my mail and asked me sent the mail again. this is very bad. still i used computer in customer care center and forwarded same mail again to same mail id. and then they asked me to wait for sometime and the guy who was assisting me went away saying that he will come back soon. but he didn't turned after 15 mins of wait. Now when i asked some other guy from your customer care to contact him, he said he is busy and then i had a big fight with your customer care guys.

                              Your guys don't know how important customer is and were answering very badly. It's my money so why guys care? who will refund me the parking charges and petrol charges required to come at your store? and still i have to go back without any response and very bad behavior from your customer care people.

                              I think you cheater guys should keep my money and if need more then please tell me.

                              To folks visiting to hypercity,
                              Pray to god that you never get charged 2 times for same bill otherwise be ready to face these cheater hypercity customer care .

                                We have purchased 25 ltr Bajaj made Microwave oven from Hypercity Mall, Malad on 30/10/2010. As a matter of poor after sales service noone turns for the demonstration within stipulated commited time period. After calling them sevral time some one came after a week. For that time period of more than week we could not make use of the product we had purchased. Hence our investment was dead on product. Hence herewith I would like to complaint about Salesperson on board and Shop in perticular.Also I have received one steam - iron in a draw system but it is also damage form bottom side. After enquiring said that it is free item and hyper city store in perticular is not reponsible for this product.
                                I would like make compailnt, kindly give justice to consumers emotions and ask stores to provide good after sales service. Hope for the best support I will get from this forum.

                                  Dear Sir/ Madam,

                                  This is regarding the shoe rack which was purchased under the name of Mr. kevin Coutinho on the 28th of October 2010 from the malad branch. The sales associate Mithilesh told us that the next day the piece would be delivered and the day after the carpenter will come to fix it.
                                  Vista shoe cabinet 2 door wenge the cash memo is 6702.
                                  The full amount of Rs. 2990/- was paid the cashier was Sunil M.
                                  All the rquired telephone numbers and the address was given to them.

                                  The piece has been delivered to us on the 29th opf October 2010 but till date no carpenter has come to fix it. I have called the customer care for hypercity the number being[protected] and have spoken to four people and each of them gave me a positive answer as to someone will come and do the needful. But till date nobody has come. Today at 2pm I spoke to a person Sudhir and he said he would call up the branch and get back to me in 10 minmutes but no reply till 5pm in the evening.

                                  Dear sir/ madam I woul;d like to know if you could help me out as this has caused a lot to inconvenience to us as I have a small child at home. and if the point would be made clear as people should keep to their word and if they really understand the meaning of CUSTOMER CARE.

                                  I had purchased one Elica Hi-Life Built-in-Hob on 23/08/2012 from your Malad Mall. The Model Name of the product is - CURVE 3B 60 DX LC and the
                                  Serial No is - BA 12013302. After the use of about one month, the burners start emitting carbon. Though we have made several complaints with the manufacturer's telephone number[protected], they have failed and neglected to entertain our complaint. M/s.Rao Enterprises, the Authorised Service Centre of the company also did not entertain our complaint about malfunctioning of the product.

                                  In view of the above, please let me know the next course of action as the product is not of any use.

                                    i need your action on this compliant as it takes TIME to write and express your own woes , so let me not have the sympathy but a strong action against HYPERCITY -VASHI .

                                    Their staff is very careless and negliegnet in their duty ( specific staff ) especially the counter billing staff . They are overcharging as per the offers and prices and when brought to notice they still argue over it .

                                    I usually buy my weekly groceries from hyper-city, BG road BLR. After 1 year for member ship and buying 1000s of rupees of product, i just had 112 points of which 100 points were given on the registration of membership.
                                    I also bought a sofa worth of 16999 and came to know there are no points on that product.

                                    This is ridiculous, you guys should not be selling the 'Hyper-city Discovery Club' card. You guys are fooling people with it. If there are no points on any of your products then dont fool people with it.

                                      Last sunday ie 12th Sep'10 when I was trying to look for a Calci plus tetra pack of milk I found an entire lot with a manufacturing date of 19th May'10. Since these packs say that they are good for 120 days I immediately took it to the customer service desk to show that it was nearing the expiry date. They confirmed that they will take it off the shelf. Today ie 20th Sep'10 when I was at the cash counter I saw the same set of tetra pack on display that too with an offer saying buy one get one free. Which means the pack is already 3 days past expiry. The last time I brought it to the customer service desk's attention they said they start putting things off shelf 15 days before expiry but in this case they have it past expiry. This is unethical ans not acceptable. I dont know if I can do anything more than this as a consumer.
