I used icici travel card during my visit to the us. After a month upon my return, i noticed many fraud transactions on my card happening (In the us) in a matter of 5 minutes, two of which went through for $314.14 and $312.32. At the moment, i have the card with me.
I immediately called icici customer service and asked them to take action. They said they can block the card and prevent further transactions from happening. However, their response on fraud transactions deducting $626.46 in total was extremely unsatisfactory. They said, they cannot do anything about it now, and asked me to call customer service again once the transaction has fully posted to my account. They did not even record the fraud. Only when i call them later will they work on it and provide a resolution, and all this process they said might take up to 30 days! I cannot wait for 30 days for a resolution, and i need my money back immediately to pay for my basic expenses.
If i were in the us when this fraud happened i would have got struck in another country with no money. If needed, i am willing to provide more details/proof of my travel history.
