I request to every body not to fall ICICI prudential trap which deceive you at every point .Recently I send an agent with all documents to one of the branch as I am living abroad ..The surrender value is lower than expected and the funny thing is that I have to meet them to surrender my policy .Being an NRI I used to watch market values and going to surrender but which is impossible from their employees point of view .I was holding policies with SBI ,LIC ,HDFC.all are surrendered from abroad.     Sub : Policy # 14356980 icici pru lifestage pension Ad complain


    I am having relationship with icici bank from last 8 years with my salary account in icici bank and all housing loans from icici bank.
    I will like to bring to your notice about the product "icici pru lifestage pension ad" this was posed on me in the year 19th Aug 2010 by one of your fund manager in "ICICI bank Lallpur Ranchi branch".

    I visited this branch when I returned from Outside india in the month of august 2010.i disclosed to fund manager "Abhishek Tiwari" that I want to invest in decent product in which I do not have to follow up regularly for e.g. paying premium but I am going to pay lump sum 6 ,00,000 INR.He mentioned that in 5 years this amount will be doubled and I do not have to pay anything after this payment of 6,00,000.
    I paid the amount on same day via icici bank check #761158 to the icici bank amounting to Rs 6,00,000.
    out of this 6,00,000 fund manager allocated 3.5 lakhs in various money market like HDFC mutual fund , Icici pru and kotak and rest 2.5 lakhs was invested in icici pru lifestage pension ad.
    I was clueless of real investment and their relation with each others.
    In cover of money market I was put in dark about terms and conditions of "icici pru lifestage pension ad". Fund manager did not disclose properly that premium amount has to be paid in regular yearly premium.
    additionally "icici pru lifestage " kit was sent to my home address "Ranchi" though I work and live in "Pune".i was caught unaware of terms and condition of icici pru lifestage plan.
    there was no communication from fund manager regarding the investment made by me and I was convinced that icici bank is there so my money and plan is full proof.
    only recently I received the reminder call for the icici pru life stage plan which caught me in cross leg. After that I followed many times with icici bank lalpur Ranchi branch .but over phone I did not got satisfactory answer and the person who was responsible for fund management has left the branch to ratu road ranchi icici bank branch.
    i was left on the mercy of personal touch with the person with no valid email from icici bank but communication over phone.

    kindly note that i will not able to continue with the premium payment further for the" icici pru life stage pension plan " as this product was wrongly marketed with highly unmanageable premium allocation (INR2,50,000 per annum).I guess fund manager has not done his homework and was interested in receiving INR 6,00,000 lump sum.

      I have taken the policy from the ICICI Prudential and the advisor committed to payback the some amount from the first premium. But i didn't received the same after three months also. The same i escalated to his reporting manager(s) and raised the complaint in customer care also. Nobody is taking it forward and doing the needful.

        We had life time pension plan insurance policy. Regularly i am paying yearly installments. I requested them to provide policy guidelines and maturity procedure and payment modes and premature procedures. But no one explained in this regard. Insurance agent told many things while paying policy initially. Finally many people are commenting many things. The icici insurance prudential life insurance is not provided the all the required details. I request the icici to provide the guidelines and features of the lifetime pension policy.

            this is to inform u that i had received a phone call from icici prudential life insurance stating that if i pay a sum of rs.18000 then they will remove a certain agent code from my policy and even refund me the sum of rs. 18000 within 90 days. so i had issued the cheque in the name of company and paid 18000 rupees to them
            but even after six months i had not received any correspondence from them side.
            but then when i complained about the company to insurance registrar they called me back telling that their employee had misguided me and i could not get the refund from the company
            according to the person calling me i had only one option of buying a new policy from the company and getting the amount transfered to that policy compulsorily
            when i told them that i did not want to buy a policy and i will complaint to consumer forum against them the person on the other side just disconnected the line
            i also have the recording of the phone call of the person ignoring my refund and accepting companys mistake

              On 20th December 2011 I despatched By Courier service my Original Policy # 02191913 with the Surrender Form and all other documents requested to the Kandivali Office of ICICI Prudential Insurance Co. per the instructions of Ms. Dimple A.. Customer Service Manager which she duly confirmed receipt of on 22nd December 2011. She later informed me upon my query that they were " looking in to the matter" and would revert to me by 5th January 2012 but so far I am still awaiting her response.I have sent her 2 e-mail reminders on 10th January and 15th January 2012 but she seems to ignore my e-mails.

              Is this the kind of service ICICI Prudential Insurance boasts of with the Awards they have received ? I am sorry that they have roped in the services of a prominent Bollywood Actor to rope in more gullible customers like me.

              I would appreciate if something could be done to expedite the settlement of my surrendered Policy as I am in dire need of the funds to settle financial commitments.

[protected]) for taking insurance policy and i am trying to say him to don't call me again and again that i am registered in DNC although the same call i had recd inthe morning by your executive from same no and he used bad words to me
              i told him don't call eventhough he had called three times from same no to say " sir bolne se pahle DNC karna padta hai and the language he has used was very bad" i am going to take this to higher authority if may complaint not resolved.

                With reference to above subject I am complaining that I have not received a single response or reply from ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. regarding my request of resignation from ICICI Prudential Life Insurance as an Insurance advisor. I have sent mail them on 29/12/2011 and also i had went at jamnagar office on dated 28/12/2011 of the same company to submit my Resignation latter in physical copy but they had not accepted my Resignation latter and gave it back to me and also behaved with me rudely.

                  Re:Policy No. 12951177 of Mrs. Rajshree Mukherjee.

                  I paid a premium of Rs.45000/- last month on 18.12.2011 vide a cheque drawn on Corporation Bank Sikanderpur, Gugaon. I handed ove this cheque personally to a Ms. Meenaxi of your Company located in the branch of ICICI Bank, Qutab Plaza, DLF City, Ph:I. On not gettting the receipt even after a long time I enquired at the dealing branch of ICICI PRUDENTIAL, to be told that they have not received my payment. Subsequently I have furnished them with a certificate from the bank that the amount has been cleared on 20.12.2011 and sent to ICICI Prudential. Even after regula follow up with this office of ICICI PUDENTIAL located at sector 29, Gurgaon, I am being told that they are not getting any information from their HO regarding the payment and not giving the receipt for the payment. It is highly surprising that even after a bank certificate of clearance and fund remittance the receiver can keep quiet and not acknowledge receipt of the payment. Most of all, it is further surprising that a company as big as ICICI PRUDENTIAL is so loosely managed and further harrassing the policy holder by sending 'Policy Lapse' notices.

                    ICICI PRUDENTIAL LIFE SOLD ME A POLICY WITHOUT EXPLAINING THE PLAN AND WITHOUT GIVING ANY INTIMATION. THE POLICY WAS STARTED IN 2009 AND SINCE THEN THE POLICY DOCUMENT IS ALSO NOT RECEIVED. I MADE A FIXED DEPOSIT IN ICICI BANK FOR 334561 BUT IT WAS TRANSFERRED TO ICICI PRUDENTIAL.I WAS SOLD THE POLICY OVER THE PHONE I WAS TOLD TO ONLY MAKE A ONE TIME PAYMENT OF 500000 WHICH I MADE BUT AS PER THE DOCUMENT IT REFLECTS THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE A PAYMENT FOR 11 YEARS.                       but my return has no revised by income tax department. and icici prudintial say that Your concern has been noted by us. We are looking into the matter and shall revert to you by 5 working days We hereby inform you that we have forwarded the data for reversed return filing to our taxation and compliance team. but i have not received the TDS
                      16A form& not the revised my TDS in income tax Department. plz help me. there is much delay in filing of my I.T. return. How Much Time I have to wait ???

                          Icici Prudential Life Insurance — not receiving of provident fund and other dues

                          Pf No. 586221, emp-id-586221, unit manager, agency East, Kharag pur Branch, separation date-28/01/2010. yet not received Provident Fund and other dues. when i went to the Branch Manager of Kharag pur Branch for help, he did not help me.please help me.

                          I worked as an Associate Health Assurance Manager for one year in ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co Ltd.
                          I haven't received my PF amount yet.I left the organisation on 26 may 2009. I am still waiting for a response from them.

                            sir i was told that policy has 7 years of paying term and 10 years of locking period.I trust the agent and signed the document.later on i came to knew dat policy has 15 years paying term and 15 year locking period.when i went to the company.They refused to pay the money back and said that your freelook period is over.But i am cheated in this. i told the agent that i dont want to go in long term.Even i tried to cancel the policy within first 15 days.But at that time they didn''''t gave me the freelook form and tried to convince me.even they told to shift in some other policy.so by doing this.they just wasted 15 days.and later after 15 days they r saying that freelook period is over.so sir its totally injustice with me.I need my money back.

                              the name of the ICICI Prudential life Insurance holder name is changed for their convenience . It has been cleverly plotted and played on customer. For the past nine months except for the policy kit nothing has been despatched. when questioned development manager S.Saravanan answers he is not in job and that we have to deal with the branch manager . when the branch manager M.Karthikeyan is questioned he says he has nothing to do with the policy and that he does not know anybody in the name of Saravanan. The advisor name printed on the policy kit is Mariappan P. when questioned him he says he has nothing to do with the ICICI policy and that he is not even applied for the icici job. Again we gave a call to saravanan and he says that he interchanged the name for his monetary gain and that he has met with a accident and left the ICICI job. Further he asked us to contact karthikeyan. H in turn says he does not know who we are and that he has not seen us. On shouting back he said " GO AND RAISE YOUR VOICE IN THIS SAME TONE AT ICICI NUGAMBAKAM AND DONT COME TO ANNA NAGAR". Again when given a call to saravanan he says go and meet M.Karthikeyan at anna nagar and that HE WILL SOLVE OUR PROBLEM . but M.Karthikeyan kept insistin on us to go to nungambakam.
                              after paying Rs18,000 for policy to ICICI we have to spend hundreds for auto and waste our time and money. That means according to saravanan taking a policy in icici is getting into problems which no one is going to solve or pay any heed to our plead.

                                I had purchased my mediclaim from icici prudential a year back in my mothers name.
                                Last she was admitted in the hospital for the treatment of malaria.
                                We then duly completed the formalities for the said mediclaim.
                                After a month of correspondence we received a letter saying our claim has been rejected.
                                I have all the details and documents necessary for the same but cant understand whom to approach.
                                So I will be happy to receive some guidance from your end.

                                  I have written and called ICICI multiple times as well few blogging as well but it seems they dont care about their customers anymore, please have a look at the emails content sent to ICICI greviance as well posted on few blogs months ago, you can also visit the blog where I posted this email to SEE how WONDERFUL is ICICI'S SERVICE.

                                  I have written this email on Thu 9/29/2011 4:09 PM to [protected]@iciciprulife.com
                                  and again a reminder on 10/18/2011 5:44 PM from my office email id, but nobody will respond or ready to help. Will somebody please help me take appropriate action against this.

                                  Following is the email content which I sent.

                                  Hello team,

                                  My Smart kid Policy #06124195 which is taken 4 + years ago. I myself worked as a part time financial advisor and helped many people join ICICI PRU family HOWEVER I am very disappointed with my policy performance where I have paid 1 LAKH 20,000 RUPEES In total in the first 3 years and now I see the fund value is at Rupees# 77086.0833.



                                  I HAVE TRIED MY BEST to manage my policy and made switches based on market fluctuations/whenever I have time as I work in night shifts most of the time, Failing to SEE my MONEY GROWING I decided to seek help from ICICI customer care and initiated many chat sessions online and phone calls where they have PROMISED to send an executive to my home to assist manage policy also ask a dedicated fund manager to look at my account however NO ACTION has ever been taken.



                                  NOW…. My Only questions is if YOU are in my position will you let your MONEY grow NEGATIVELY from 1 LAKH 20,000 RUPEES to 77086.0833 RUPEES that too in a 4 years’ time which is a decent time for markets to fluctuate and stabilize.



                                  ALL I want is SEE MY MONEY GROWING else return my complete MONEY I paid towards the premiums.

                                  You will lose me as a customer as well ALL MY friends, family and company and corporate network who will never BUY ICICI PRU after sharing my experience.



                                  If required I may take appropriate legal action as well with all the PROOFS I have.

                                    i had purchased an ICICI Prudential Health saver policy from them in 2009. the agent clearly told me that the maternity and pregnancy benifits are covered by the policy after one year. i now need the benfit and called them, however, they say that it is not covered.
                                    The agent who sold me the policy still says that it covers the same.

                                    i took the policy for only this purpose and need help to get this benifit as promised.

                                    ICICI, one year on.. no response, do you think i will advocate you ever... in this period... i have done the following:
                                    Stopped banking with ICICI. i have no account with ICICI now.
                                    Have stopped the medical insurance policy with Lombard.
                                    Not renewed my car insurance with ICICI for any of my cars
                                    Told my friends and colleagues about how courteous you have been in responding or talking to me.

                                      Sir i am Sagar Anand, Contact no. [protected], i have an complaint regarding ICICI , which i am mentioning below, i sent complaint at IRDA and Insurance Obdusmand also but even they didn't helped me till now,

                                      i am a policy holder of icici prudential my policy no. 02850592 monthly premium is 1500/-. I took his policy in may, 2006 on my name Sagar Anand and Proposer's is my father Mr. Kewal Kishan Anand from may 2006 to aug 2009 i paid amount in cash, last year was the third year of the policy and i paid the total amount in cash to the advisor, in aug 2009 he paid the amount but payment got bounced again he paid but again it was bouned and in aug, 2010 when i went to check the policy i came to know that policy is lapsed due to non payment, by some how i made the payment till aug 2010 even though i closed it in aug, 2009 and during that gap of 1 year from aug, 2009 to aug, 2010 i didn't get any call or any message or any letter from your side. i used to got useless letters but no information has givn to me regarding this that time your icici has leisure papers to waste but when it was the time to inform customer did your company got "Paper rrupt" ,due to recession, i have three other policies on my name. i tried to registrerd complaint at your call centre but no response from , just tell me why i have to suffer due to your thief advisors, just because we trusted your icici. for the entire one year policy was lapsed and i have to suffer only not you or your agents. kindly tell me who will full fill interest i lost and trust i lost. my new no. is[protected] and mailing address is k-47, andha mughal, Pratap Nagar, Delhi 110007, premium amount is 1500/- monthly. and please don't tell me that i didn't give you full information so you can't answer me back,. you got my and my father's name who is also the proposer and old no. which is[protected], [protected] registered at you don't work so please revrt back on new no.

                                      In Reply of this mail after one year on 30, sep, 2011 i got a call from this no. [protected] a lady was on line who spoken to me very harshly didn't reveal her name and said it was not our authority to tell the customer that policy is lapsed or premium has to be made, customer has to check, they sent me a mail also which says,
                                      In reference to the same, I wish to inform that your above policy was issued with a Risk Commencement Date (RCD) of May 23, 2006 with premium payment frequency of ‘monthly’ mode via Cash/Cheque.

                                      Due to non receipt of renewal premiums since February 2009 to August 2010, the policy was in a ‘lapsed’ status.
                                      Post receipt of the renewal premium paid by you in August 2010, the policy was revived and currently the premium paying status is on ‘Premium holiday’ mode.

                                      Further to your concern regarding non receipt of lapse intimation notices, the company tried contacting you on your registered number updated in our records on March 06, 2009 and June 20, 2009, however we were unable to establish contact.
                                      Also lapse intimation letter was sent to your registered mailing address in March 2009 via India Post.

                                      As per our telephonic conversation earlier today with Mr. Sagar Anand, I wish to inform that, as per clause 4 (ii) of the policy terms & conditions, ‘Premiums are payable without any obligation on the company to issue a notice for the same’

                                      We request you to refer the policy documents received by you for more details.
                                      With this, we are closing your grievance as resolved.

                                      It is really sad to know your story.

                                      What do IRDA and Ombudsman say? Not responding? If IRDA and Ombudsman sleep who will save from cheats?

                                      I think you may have to consult consumer court. It looks that the Advisor is the culprit. Is he an ICICI employee?

                                      Please share your belter experience amongst your colleagues/friends verbally, through mails and networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. This will not only help them save from such losses but also make them think twice before opting for ICICI. Consider seriously switching other policies to some other Insurance Co which I think is possible. This way you may not recover you loss but can cause much bigger loss to ICICI.
