    refund of cancelled ticket

    I had cancelled a ticket(from pune-nzm) on 24-jul-2011 with PNR [protected]. But according to IRCTC mail that i got says that the money has been refunded, but i didnot get any refund money back.
    It has been around a month and i havn't got the amount.
    please look into the matter.....

    I filed a TDR on 10th february2011 having reference no ekt[protected] for a train running late by more than 8hrs passenger not travelled
    As per rule i should get full refund but only Rs4785/- of total fare Rs.9570/- is refunded on 16th February2011.Following replies coming from IRCTC TDR team after put up my complain several times.
    "Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience.Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No.[protected] has been forwarded to CCM/NR Railway on 03-Mar-2011 .We have already issued Reminders on 17-May-2011 to concerned railway to chase up the case.But despite reminders refund is yet to be received from the concerned railway.Now we have sent another reminder on 4-July-2011 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.

      My name is V.SRIDHARAN.. I have booked TWO tickets through irctc online booking on[protected] for a journey from TIRUCHIRAPALLI Jn. to MAMBALAM (CHENNAI) for journey on on[protected]. I used SBI net Bankingb) for making payment. A total of Rs 280+Rs 10/ was deducted from my account but no PNR and e-ticket generated.. Transaction reference03799759 IG63230775. Hoever for the return journeyon 080911 the transaction wassuccesful and PNR & ticket delivered.
      Kindly arrange to refund the amount for the vundelivered tkt and credit the same to my A/c with SBI HEK Trichy.Solicit your immediate action

        Hi,

        I recently updated my IRCTC profile (Login: pranil_k) as I saw a message while booking a new train ticket that some of the details in my profile were missing. After that I received new password through email and also I was supposed to receive mobile verification code on registered mobile no [protected]. However I have not received mobile verification code after several times sending mails to [protected]@irctc.co.in as well as calling them several times. Without mobile verification code I can not use my IRCTC profile at all.

        Could you pls help me get my mobile verification code?

          i have cancilled three ticket vide pnr no[protected] on 10/05/09 for rs 836, pnr no [protected] on 08/0/509 of rs 1167 and pnr no [protected] through my wife's debit card no [protected] agst s.b a/c no[protected] o[censored]nited bank of india, b.e.college road howrah branch, but no money has been credited to my account till date.I hace twice visited the bank personally but it make no result. I donot know wat to do now, is this mechanisam of irctc is so bogus.

          Sir,
          I tried to book an e-ticket on 16th June for date of journey 18th June in train number 4554 in tatkal quota from Una to Delhi. I tried twice but the ticket booking showed error and said that the money debited from your account will be credited to you. The amount debited was Rs2516 and after the transaction I was left with Rs4189 in my account number[protected], Divpreet Singh. On the next day, 17th June, I was debited the same amount Rs 2516 and then credited back. But the originally debited amount was never credited back to me. I registered my complaint with IRCTC help desk too but I have been getting no response at all. I have even showed them the screenshot of my bank statement which shows the following three transactions taking place between 16th June to the time of screenshot.

I filed a refund TDR with IRCTC on dated 29/12/2011, since than I'm continuously approaching to IRCTC for refund of Rs. 3234.00 but they have given no heed to my complaints. please help
          Dear Sir/Madam,

          I was booked ticket to Godavari express for the date of journey on[protected] with PNR number [protected] from visakhapatnam to secunderabad on tatkal Quota. Unfortunately on that date[protected] due to railroko at Telangana region, godavari express declared to moved upto vijayawada. According to the announcent at Visakhapatnam station, i was not traveled in the godavari express and i filed TDR on[protected] with Reference No: ekt[protected] for that train cancellation.

            Nowadays If tickets moved to RAC, it is not getting confirmed in Yercaud Express(Chennai-Erode).Is the seat allocation is happening properly.The cancellation ratio becomes very less nowadays.Even waiting list tickets around 80 or 70 when booked before 1 months is not getting confirmed. Only sitting is allocated in Sleeper Coaches.Why we have to travel in sitting when paid for berth to sleep?.IRCTC is in hands of touts, agents with the help of corrupted irctc employees.The newspapers published about the irctc corruption,eventhough the government is not taking necessary steps.

            On Aug10,2011 the IRCTC is not opened at all for more than 20 mins.For any festival bookings, this is become common. After that every tickets got booked.What is really happening in IRCTC?

              I had booked an I-Ticket on IRCTC website on 11th Aug for journey date 16th Aug. Today is 15th Aug and I have still not received my railway ticket for my journey scheduled for tomorrow morning.
              I called IRCTC 24x7 customer service twice. The first time they provided me the Overnite Express courier contact number to track my ticket. The number provided is switched off since 13th Aug. The second time I spoke with IRCTC 24x7 helpline, they said their system is down so they cannot help.               I am having few concerns regarding IRCTC site, which are as follows:

              1) I tried to book my online ticket ticket in TATKAL but i observed that the station names are not listing when we provide the station names ("From*" and "To*") and it happens always not a single time .
              2) I tried to book ticket through "Quick book" but it display a message that "Quick book is not allowed between 12:30 AM to 10:00 AM."
              3) Also, if we tried to book the ticket in day time after 10 O'clock the speed of Sign-in and processing is too slow, although I am using broad band service with excellent speed.
              4) If we want to book the ticket then we have to contact to traveler agencies which are charging extra too much amount.

                IRCTC — Service not proper

                Dear Sir/ Mam,

                We are unable to book the Railway tickets in Tatkal and some time in general quota also as the Server of IRCTC is down and not replies properly.

                During 8:00AM to 9:00AM we are not able to log in or if logged in then booking the ticket is difficult.

                Some action must be taken against this

                  I was trying to book a ticket for my parents from Bangalore to Howrah ,by Duronto express . While making payments ,IRCTC payment gateway page expired and I could not get my ticket . However the fare amount was debitted from my citi card .When I called Citi they gave me transactionapproval code (067964) and asked me to speak with IRCTC.

                  Both the numbers provided by you are useless .The Chenai number[protected] rings and then someone picks it up and hangs up the same ,where as Delhi number[protected] is a number not in use any more /invalid number .

                  Please let me know whom do I contact regarding this and what would be the contact numbers . Also kindly remove this false information (help line numbers) from your site .

                  as for IRTC, if they really don't respond, contact Citi for a "chargeback" if your ticket is not delivered to you.

                    This is regarding the amount which has not been refunded by irctc. I was doing booking for a train from baroda to mathura on 4/01/2012, due to some error in the server the booking was not done and amount was deducted from account. I had used my friend's Rahul Sharma's Axis Bank debit card to book the ticket. On 7th i received a mail from irctc that amount has been refunded to the account bur till date no amount has beed credited to axix bank account by irctc. My friend asked axis bank regarding the same they told him that they have not received any confirmation regarding the refund by irctc hence they have not credited the amount. Since 7th i am mailing to the customer care of irctc but they are not replying me back and also not receiving any phone calls.

                        on 01.08.2011, i tried to book a ticket from Mumbai to Patna through my user id 'dcdcdeepak' but ticket is not booked due to session expire during transaction proceed. i tried three times and result occur same but Amount of Rs. 479/- is debited three times from my axisbank account.                         I tried booking a ticket from delhi to raipur through IRCTC on 14th october. I tried 1 time but the transaction was not processed at all due to server issues. Unfortunately, the amount has been debited once into my debit card account. Is there any escalation procedure by which I can get my refund back? I have the debit card statement that shows the amount debited and I have the booked ticket list which doesn't show these transactions. I dont think we could reach people on customer care on IRCTC. So far I have made calls to those numbers but I am unable to reach them. whats the fastest way to get the refund back? Suggestions/previous experience would be really helpful.

                          Season ticket booked online from Mira Road to Chuchgate (STR NO958AA6E008) ON[protected] AND valid from[protected] for three months for Rs.425/- has not been received till date, I have call IRCTC OFFICER Ten times and courier service for fifteen times and I have Email IRCTC for four times but nothing has been done, courier people has agreed that season ticket has been misplaced and agreed to refund back the money, but not giving anything till date. Now IRCTC should pay my Rs425/- and tickets money of Rs.20/- per day i am spending.

                              TDR File issue not rectified
                              On dated 29.04.2011 the Delhi - Bhubneshwar Rajdhani train No- 12444 was Late More than Seven hour, we (2 Passenger ) not travelled due to this reason. Applied for TDR against PNR No.- [protected], but still not get the refund amount. Why such type of delay, where as railway have the information for Late departure instantly. TDR process time should be minimised.

                              IRCTC — TDR refund awaited after 90 days

                              IRCTC on line ticket booked and cant able to travel, file TDR on 20 Jun 2009. Till now The Indian Railway has not been refunded PNR No [protected], TDR file No ekt[protected] You are requested to Refund the amount.
                              Amount has been deducted from my bank account but i should not get my e ticket from irctc. when will I get my money back.

The case is repudiated. In case you require any further assistance, please mail us at [protected]@irctc.co.in or call us on[protected] With regards, TDR TEAM.""

                              I already described the cause of TDR, but still...


                              I am unable to understand the cause why refund not approved. Which type of letter to be submitted.


                              Due to this late train the return ticket from Cuttak to Bokaro Steel City from Purushottam train No. 12801 has been cancelled.


                              Please tell me by which reason the TDR filled not approved.


                              One another TDR refund case is although pending through IRCTC ticket.

                              Is there normal practice through IRCTC or just incidence.

                              This case is started since last 6 month. After long waiting response has came regarding not approved.
                              I already mail to IRCTC to clarify the cause but no response and no activity found.
                              Please try to convey to the IRCTC team for their failed effort and Neutral activity.
                              against PNR No:[protected] TDR process completed but no refund get, although the train Rajdhani Express was Late approx 7 Hr.I already mail to IRCTC but he does not respond.

                              My ticket was booked from Train No.12444, PNR Number: [protected]. Date :29.04.2011 Scheduled Departure time was :07:56. When I reached to Bokaro Steel City station train was Late. But at Enquiry counter some information found that it may recover some time. Actually my purpose was to attend my friend marriage at Cuttack and return back in night by already booked train no. 12801 (PURUSHOTTAM EXP). Pnr Number: [protected]. But since train was Late approx more than 7 Hr. So it was not possible to attend friend marriage. And decided to TDR file and cancel the return ticket within the prescribed time limits as follows by railway. But still no refund get against TDR . I could not understand the reason.
                              The rules and status of TDR filled and cancelled ticket are given below in support to verify the cause. So please try to resolve.

                                IRCTC is not providing full services for E tickets that are available Ticket booking at Counters.
                                The following service shall be incorporated for E ticket booking
                                (1) Break Journey
                                (2) Change of boarding station for booked tickets
                                (3) Temporary (may be 30 min) credit fund o[censored]ser @ IRCTC for cancelled E tickets for booking another ticket in case of change of journey plan.
                                (4) Postponement of Journey date.

                                The highest authority may please look into the matter

                                  I am a Shubhyatra member.

                                  The website is not sending mobile verification code on my mobile. And, therefore I am not able to log-in into the IRCTC website.

                                  Kindly check and resolve as soon as possible, as I have to take printouts of my booked tickets and make another online booking.

                                  I am a shubh yatra card holder. The IRCTC online booking site is asking for mobile verification to make reservation, but it doesn't send verification code on my mobile number.

                                  I want to take printout of my previously booked tickets and book new one, which I am currently unable to do.

                                  Please see to this and take appropriate action as quick as possible.

                                  i was registered at irctc online reservation website.
                                  i was recieved user ID and password but they did't send the mobile verification
                                  code so i was request pls. send the mobile verif. code ASAP. my user id is vedance_k and my mail id is [protected]@rediffmail.com

When I fill this password in irctc login then it shows your mobile number is not verified, for verification CLICK HERE TO RE-SEND MOBILE VERIFICATION CODE and then i do the same thing.
