Email verification password not received

I have an account in irctc.Co.In (User name is mm135702). Unfortunately, i forgot my password. I am trying to reset my password and your site ask the email verification password and mobile verification password. I already got the mobile verification password by an sms. But, i can't get email verification password. Please send the email verification password in to my mail ([protected]@yahoo.com) urgently or suggest another way to reset...

    when i opened the irctc portal with my usual user name and password two weeks ago, the page to update my details came up.This feature got repeated every time i logged on.Atlast i updated the details and clicked on submit.What action followed i don't know.Last week i tried again using the forgot password option.The reply came " Your password has been reset and an email has been sent successfully "
    My mail box received no such message so far.Despite several appeals to customer care, the issue remains unsolved.Such an action on the part of the authorities is not a healthy practice

      I wanted to book 3 tatkal tickets from *Madgaon (MAO ) to Pune JN (PUNE) *on *03-June-2011* for the *Train Name : GOA EXPRESS Train Number : 12779.* When i tried to book the ticket today 01-June-2011* at 8:00am there were seats available in 3AC on the train for the above date and i did
      a net banking from SBI and an amount of 2398 was debited the *Transaction failed due to issues in IRCTC
      server*.

      Subsequently i called the IRCTC chennai customer care :[protected].
      Though there was a very bad response to my queries , i resorted to go
      ahead as suggested to re-book the ticket.

      I tried a second time to book the same 3AC ticket but again it was
      the same , the amount of 2398 was successfully debited from my acount
      but the *Transaction failed a second time due to issues in IRCTC
      server.

      By *third time when i tried to book the ticket there were no seats available in 3AC. *
      ** *I had no choice but to resort to book an SL ticket to go ahead
      with the travel which is scheduled and unavoidable.*

      But the scenario was no different again ,when i tried to book 3
      tickets for SL in the same train again an amount of 925 was
      successfully debited from my account and *the Transaction failed a
      third time due to issues in IRCTC server .

      * *By now there were only 2 seats available in SL, and when i booked
      the ticket for 3 the fourth time this time the transaction was successfull.

      I tried to check with the IRCTC care that I need a 3AC ticket for 3 people for which i was trying to
      book the ticket , as the transaction has failed solely due to technical failure from IRCTC and one of the failed transaction could be considered.

      But there has been no resolution , response also there is no response if i call the customer care number.

      The site should be revoked as it is not properly tested.
      There is no point hosting it as it clearly shows that after 3 failed transaction i booked a successfull ticket and the people in care are not responding to queries Delhi or chennai care number.

      It was total a bad experience and repent for the same.

        Dear sir,
        Railway booking terminal provided by irctc is not working/already 2 months passed.I want to know how much time they want from us to upgrade there system.Already we have submitted documents as demanded /required by our principle agent herms i tickets/smart shop.they have no knowledge about when this booking terminal become functional.i want to know this because i am unemployed youth and depending on the earning of travel related products only. I request railway minister/staf[censored]nder him kindly dont harass us.

          Sir, I tried to book Railway Reservation Tickets Through IRCTC online e-ticketing facility on[protected]. durng the booking process due to network failures my transaction could not succeed and reservation was not done. when i cheked my account balance on[protected] balance is showing less amount by Rs 307/-.             Dear Sir,
            Whenever I was opening the irctc for tkt booking, it was showing update your profile. It was not accepting my old Mobile no(Showing this mobile no is already registered) so forcefully I have to enter the new mobile no. Now I am still waiting (from last five days) for the Mobile Verification Password for my login (rksharma28). I have mailed to [protected]@irctc.co.in 8 times and made calls to there Customer care twice. They promised me they will reply within 24-48 hrs. But I didn't received any reply. What to do? I have to start my journey today as well as take the printouts and cancel some tkts. I have no option left.
            Please help me.....

            Dear Sir,

            When I logged into IRCTC account on 26 May Thursday, it asked for my mobile num. I updated my profile to include my mobile no. Now I am still waiting (from last 5 days) for the Mobile Verification Password for my login (neha4s).

              I booked this e-ticket for my friend for Azad Hind exp, Pune-Nagpur, but it was more than 8hrs late that day, hence, the very next day(02-Oct-2010) I filed the TDR.

              After around 8 months I got the reply from them.

                    pnr number[protected] dated 26 th may 11. i purchased a mineral water whose mrp is 12/ but the pantry boy charged me rs 15. when asked for the illegal act he said complain anybody.
                    I went to the pantry manager he said i have seen many like you and said dekhte hai kaun kya ukharta hai.

                      IRCTC — Refund for train cancelled due to Gujjar agitation

                      I have got a refund from IRCTC (Refund IRCTC-TDR#[protected] for Rs.976/-, while my train got cancelled due to Gujjar protest, and my ticket was for Rs.1952/- with Rs.60 Internet charges making it Rs.2012.

                      I have been refunded only 50% amount, and train got cancelled due to agitation. Its not me who cancelled the ticket for not travelling, the traing got cancelled so i should get my entire ticket amount.

                      I had planned trip form pune to howrah on 23rd oct 2008 thru irctc portal . i took the i-ticket and the status on the ticket on the date of train departure was WL1/WL2.so i did not make the journey . on the same i have filled TDR for the same on 29/10/2008 in kolkata strand road office of IRCTC. but still i have not received the refund .                       I was shocked after verifying the TDR history wherein the said statement reflects Remarks:598-NR/48 as per record passenger traavelled on the ticket.the case is repuidated.my ticket was booked with PNR NO.[protected] with transcation ID-[protected]
                      dated 13-09-10 from Ranchi to New delhi by Ranchi Garib Rath.As the train is late more than 10hours(approx) on that date. I was unable tio cancel the ticket as ticket was E-ticket and cancelliation was permitted only before peporing of the chart as i only came to know at 1 hour before the scheluded depature of teh train i was not able to cancel the ticket.
                      In fact it is pertinent to mention here that i was travelled on[protected] from Ramgarh cantt to Delhi by train no.2873 jahrkhand s.j.express and i had booked the ticket from the Irctc website Itself but the same is not reflecting in the booked history for the reason well known to you

                        I am currently trying to access my account on irctc,but i have found out that my password has been changed without my knowledge. I would be extremely grateful if the password for the following login : arijit_03, could be mailed directly to me in the email id which is : [protected]@yahoo.co.in
                        i have updated my information in my irctc acount iobrkr with my mobile number.i have received a password from my mobile stating that it is my mobile verification password.i am not able to login now by using my old password or what i got from mobile.i did not receive my password from the email.so help me out to clear the problem as soon as possible.
                        Though I have put all the required details correct, still an error is being shown on website & is directed again to log in page. I tried it for @ 10 times, but in vain.

                        Sir, I was try to booked a ticket through IRCTC from Bhopal to Agra Cantt for Shatabdi Exp on 10 Jul 2012 through my SBI Debit card, in the last process login fail and transaction could successful and amount Rs 740.00 has been deducted from my account ( POS No POS[protected] IRCTC 10 Jul 2012. After this unsuccessful I was again try to book the two ticket in the same train from Bhopal to Agra Cantt, but the same process login fail and transaction could successful and amount Rs 1450.00 has been deducted from my account ( POS[protected] IRCTC 10 Jul 2012).                           i booked five ticket(4 female and 1 male) from gkp to lko on 8/6/2011. which transaction id and pnr are [protected] & [protected] respectively. During booking i was demand for UB, LB, MB. But after payment(Rs 720) i have got 5 SB with different section. lastly i cancelled these five ticket because it is very difficult to accommodate four ladies with different section of SB. And deducted 200 Rs from my account.

                            Even I am facing the same issue. I didn't forget my password and when I am trying to cancel a ticket which I earlier booked for this Sunday travel, I am not able to login. I tried 'forget password' for which I got a new password in my email. When I tried resetting the password the screen is asking for 'Email Verification Password' which was never setup. In the next field it is asking for mobile password but you could generate a instant password using a button. So this is not an issue and no clue how to get the 'Email Verification Password'. Due to this I am in a risk of loosing my money as I am not able to cancel the ticket.

                            Looks like there is a sudden change in the online system and this need to be resolved at the earliest.

                            All .. I got around this issue. Actually the "Email Verification Password" is the new password that was sent to us in the registered email id when tried the 'forget password'. Then for "Mobile Verification Password" generate a instant one to your mobile. With the above two the password can be reset...!

                              I travelled kanpur- jaipur via Sealdah Ajmer on 22nd May 2011. I took tea from train pantry which he charged Rs. 5 per cup. Whether on jaipur platform I noticed that IRCTC is providing 150 ml. Tea just of Rs.4 (Dip Tea).
                              On Returning by the same train Bearing Ticket No. 5546 when again I asked Tea vendor asked me Rs. 5/- when I told that why he is charging Rs. 1 more. He said " Lena ho to lo varna jaane do". There was no other option besides taking a cup of tea by paying Rs. 5 from my pocket. I further noticed that the quantity was not 150 ml. It was a bit more than the half of the disposal glasswhen again I asked he said " Bohot Kanoon KArte hai Aap". The vendor name was D.V. Singh. I asked where I have to lodge complaint he said " Jiske Chaho KArdo..muje nahi maalum".

                              Sir, It is not a matter of Rupee even of quantity but If we calculate then IRCTC under planned conspiracy doing the scam of million of rupees by exploiting the consumers.

                              Likewise instread of Rail Neer , they were selling variety of Mineral Water and were charging Rs. 15/- instead of Rs. 12/- which is unfair and even the attitude of the vendors was also not good with the customers specially who are travelling in General Class.

                                I am unable to access my IRCTC web account after updating my profile. It is asking for a "Mobile Verification Password" which was never sent to my mobile in spite of repeated prompting. Repeated requests to IRCTC help line have fallen on deaf ears. The customer support team is truly incompetent and rude. They pick up the call and do not speak.

                                I need to take a printout of my ticket for tomorrow's journey (27 May 2011).

                                  1. Misbehavoiur by catering personnel
                                  2. Food not served till 10:30 pm

                                  4. Train Superintendent attending after around 2:30 hrs after first reporting of complaint

                                  This refers to my complaint while travelling in Rajdhani Express Train No,. 12309 on 24th May 2011 in Coach No. BE1 Berth No. 64 vide PNR No. [protected]. The ticket was booked vide irctc e-ticketing service on[protected].No action has been taken as yet although I had lodged a written complaint to the Train Superintendent vide serial no. 48045 during journey at around 9:30 pm somewhere before Mughalsarai Railway Station.
                                  I had boarded the train at around 7:15 pm at Patna Jn. and the train had left for New Delhi on right time. Since fooding cost is included in the cost of ticket, I did not carry my own food with. It would not be out of place to mention that I am a diabetic patient (Insulin dependent) since last more than ten years.
                                  As per irctc programme, soup was served at around 8:00 pm and expecting that food would be served soon, I took Insulin injection which has been prescribed by my physician to be taken around half an hour before lunchdinner. Having waited and requested the catering personnel, It was ridiculous on part of the caterers that I and some more passengers in the coach, were not served food for around one and half hours. I had one toffee with me which I did take after half an later after taking insulin but my health started deteriorating soon and around 9:30 I was unable to even speak properly and was in a semi unconscious state.. Having no other option left with me since the catering personnel specially one of them namely ASHISH whom I requested to look for a doctor amongst the passengers showed their helplessness and one of them who pretending to be a journalist and travelling as a passenger in Coach BE2 Seat No.6 as told by him, even accused me of creating a scene inside the coach (I am very sure that the person hopefully named LUTHRA had been provided accommodation unauthorisedly by the catering personnel and he did not seem to be a valid passenger) I any how called one of my friends who happens to be I.G. RPF at Allahabad, who took initiative to get Glucose and food for me at Mughal Sarai Railway Station after which I could regain consciousness. Thereafter, at the initiative of Mr. C.S.Ray I.G. RPF, a lady doctor investigated me in the train itself and requested that either I be admitted at Railway Hospital there itself for further treatment or continue if at all I was feeling better. I was provided with a packet of Glucose even by them. Since it was necessary for me reach New Delhi on the 25th itself, I myself decided to continue with my journey to New Delhi.
                                  This happens to be my worst ever experience(s) of Railway journey and through this complaint I would request the Railways to ask the passengers to carry their own fooding during journey in Rajdhani Train even since the irctc services cannot be relied upon and it is now getting bad to worse.
                                  I would also call upon the railway authorities to compensate for the food to the people who provided food and glucose to me at their own cost and to me even for the mental harassment and physical harm caused due to the negligence. I also recommend strict action against the responsible persons

                                    I am regular user of train. I had booked a ticket for Pune to Surat. Due to some important work, i could not travel on my ticket so that i have filed a TDR for refund. Now after some days when i checked my account for refund status, i found that my account was blocked. I did contact at irctc support and they informed me that as i had filed a dummy TDR, they had blocked my account.
                                    Now suppose for the case, when i was not on my seat, TC might had given/sold my seat to some other passenger. what i can do in that case??? Also the problem is as i don't have access to my account i could not travel on my another tickets which were booked in same account. Also i am not able to file TDR for the same. It is really penic for me. Please help.
