On July 13th 2022, I had flight from Mangalore to Dammam(Saudi Arabia). I knew I was exceeding my given luggage and this is why before catching the flight, I called customer care 3-4 times to confirm the per kg charges to pay at airport. Everytime I called the Indigo customer care I was told that I will have to pay 650rs/kg for the excess baggage that I will carry. I called them n number of times to confirm this information so that I can take my luggage accordingly in the given budget
So, according to this information, I packed my baggage. However, when went to the airport, I was charged 1200 rs/kg for my excess luggage for 14 kilos. Moreover airport authorities told me that " mam call center is different from actual airport price."
This is not fair, I lost soo much money just because your team gave me the wrong information every time I called. Is this the way indigo works frauding and cheating people by making more money?
Who will pay for the excess money that I lost ? It is indigo's responsibility totally and I want at-least half the refund back.
Indigo was always my first choice but I doubt I will ever travel by Indigo again after such a horrible experience by your end.
If all the customer care calls are recorded, you can definitely go and check the recordings and you will find it.
Please look into this matter as I want half my refund back.
