I am writing this complaint to inform you that are bill is coming so much anytime especially in this month. Utilization of gas is limited in our house, i had complaint you about this matter earlier but no response was given. I think there is problem in meter or there can be problem in gas line. So please look into this matter and solve as early as possible.

    We had requested for re-connection of our mahanagar gas pipeline on 13 march 2018. When requested to reconnect, mgl mentioned that there are dues pending which we need to clear before the reconnection happens, even though the house was closed for last 10 years.

    Since we wanted the connection badly, we paid the dues which was amounting to rs.6654/- on 23 march 2018 and requested for reconnection.

    Even after paying the due amount mgl took 15 days to do reconnection as it seems there is no connect between their payment and operation departments. After lot of struggle the connection happened on 13 april 2018.

    Now after all the payments done, i received 2 msgs, first on 3 may 2018 asking for rs.374.6 and on 12 may 2018 asking for rs.2543/-.

    When checked with mgl customer care, they mentioned that cheque got bounced.

    After lot of struggle only i got the re-connection after mgl thoroughly checked that all payments are done and now again they are asking for some arrears which are already paid.

    Please assist.

      Our scy new roop mahal chs located at mumbai pin 400016 mahim west senapati bapat road. We are trying to get piped natural gas connection for the last ten years. We have visited bandra kurla complex office several times/ written to them several times but so far we did not get gas connection. Our prospectus no. [protected] docket no.2316888. For the last 10 years we are getting replies from mahanagar 1) bmc is not giving permission 2) there is a leakage in the pipline which is to be rectified 3) in this years budget it is not possible. We requested our area corporator ward g/north madame sheetal gambhir to help us and she agreed provided she receives application from mahanagar gas. The society members who are visiting bkc office and are trying to get connection have become senior citizens by now. Can you please look into the matter and help us. Mahanagar gas chief enginner's office is located at grant road landline no.[protected] mr dipak pawar whom we have requested.

        I have made payment of 295.64 through HDFC PAYZAPP on 9 june 2017 to mahanagar gas limited . Reference no. :[protected].
        The money was debited from account but mahanagar gas limited didn't received the amount.
        I called hdfc payzapp and they have confirmed the transaction was successful from there end with Transaction id MVISA[protected]A89C10.
        I have called 10 to 15 times but every time mahanagar gave me different complaint number.
        So please see to my problem and reply.

          Dear team,

          Please check attached mail where i have done the payment for mgl connection in apr’2017.. However the same has not been done yet for my flat no. 17f (Ruby-1).

          I need urgent intervention on this else i will escalate to higher management. It’s been 1 year since i have done payment to mgl but no-one has attended the same. Is it really acceptable?

            loud beep sound coming from the meter of the pipegas

            Yesterday around 9 pm on 27 th mar 2018 suddenly very loud beep sound started coming from the meter of (Mahanagar gas). I was constantly ringing the service care as well as emergency phone numbers but no body could explain as to why the beep sound is coming from the meter. Even after 15 hours their is no response from mahanagar gas dept. Can anybody help me?...

            Respected sir/madam,
            I resident of satyam shivam sundaram complex, katrap, badlapur (E) want to bring your kind attention that your company technicians installed gas pipeline connection from my flat open terrace without any consent from myself nor from my family members or society. The gas pipeline is active and is connected to flat above my resident flat.
            The above fact has been informed teliphonically to your technicians mr. Qaudir and imran.
            Mr. Imran has promised to rectify the problem and gave many dates for the same. But uptill now no action is taken.
            I hereby request you to do the needful and remove the gas pipeline connection my terrace side loft within one week otherwise i will initiate legal action against your company.

              Please note that from 17th october 2012 the connection is pending.
              Every time when we call helpline the blame is put on bmc.
              I would like to bring to your notice that all the buildings in balgovindas road has got the mahanagar gas connection, so why should there be any issue about our society. Please note down the address below.

                  My bp no. Is [protected]. The bill of dec'17 was paid on[protected] before the due date. Yet after paying the complete bill the extra charges are added to bill of feb'18, extra rs.1118 including the due fine is added to bill of feb'18. I assume such a mistake are pretty much humiliating for "mahanagar gas limited".
                  I there by request the concerned authorities to look after the matter and necessary action as soon as possible.
                  I am waiting for your reply.

                    My bp number is [protected]. From last 6 months my meter reading was stable, suddenly for the month of december and january, it has gone high like anything.
                    I had paid maximum 300/- since last 6 months, but this time for the month of december and january, i have received a bill of 3427/-. When i called the customer care, they say that they will not even file my complaint on this issue. And i have to pay this amount. This is seriously utter chaos.

                    Please look into this matter and let me know why there is a sudden increase in the bill amount.

                      we are newly install cng kit on my jupiter scooter last month we daily refill CNG GAS on daily basis around 1.2kg to max..1.3 kg but today we refill gas your centre address is hind cng filling station, kalyan bhiwandi bypass naka kalyan road, near tata showroom, pimpalgaon kalyan ... my cng kit is install only 1.600gm so how he will refill 2 kg and given 88 rs ... his invoice no is 9714 dt.16.2.2018 time around 2to 3 pm pls take a necessary action and inform to me within 1 week ...

                        meter not installed even after making full payments & pipe installation

                        Dear manager,
                        Our society supreme willows co-op. Hsg. Society is located at charkop village, kandivali (W), mumbai-400067. There are total 114 members in the society out of which 100 members had applied for piped gas connection & made full payment in sep 2017. The gas pipes have been already installed & meter installation work also started in november 2017. However suddenly the technicians left the meter installation work in flats...

                        I have applied for a new gas connection at my residence on 14th feb 2016 and till date have not received the connection. Every time i call the customer care helpline they provide only future dates for making the connection but no connection is done till date. My call records, complaint history and dates given by company is clearly recorded in their system. Last date given to me was 30th nov 2017 but this was of no use again. My bp no. Is [protected].
                        Adding salt to wound, someone purchased a flat in my building 3 months ago and had applied for gas connection in nov 2017 and today his connection is done. Whereas no connection for me who has applied almost 2 years ago. This company is taking undue advantage of monopoly that they have in market and are taking customers like me on ride by providing false dates and promises.
                        Even when you call to their corporate office number mentioned on their website, they will guide you to this helpless customer care that they have.
                        Please look into this and help protect customers from such undue monopoly advantage that mahanagar gas has.

                          I am located in flat no e 402 prithavi park chs (Lokmat building) sec. 30 sanpada
                          Gas pipe is already laid 3/4 months back and it is ready for commissioning. We have paid 3 months back complete fees. However the gas connection not yet made operative? I visited your office in turbhe, but no appropriate reply
                          Kindly let us know the reason and requested to commission the gas supply as soon as possible and the house connection operative

                            Dear manager,

                            We have a similar problem like the one reported by manish on 09-dec-2017. We have made full payment in sep 2017. We have also raised a complaint through mahanagar gas custome care. Complaint # 3466911 raised on 24-oct-2017. I have also sent multiple emails with no revert till date.

                            We had engineers come to our place. However they mention that we are reviewing it and they never come back. Also there is an indirect hint to get the same work offline.

                            Am really surprised that inspite of making the full payment, building is gassified building and also available as per your records where connection is granted, there is failure to install the meter and start the connection.

                            Upon calling the customer care again, now they are saying you have tenants staying in the house when the house is occupied by us (Owners). Kindly review the matter as the earliest and support with installation.

                            Mahanagar gas is really defaulting in providing connection and also losing revenue with the lethargic attitude.

                              2 years back i paid them deposit of 6200 rupees for piped gas after one year they installed the pipes but are yet to install the meter inspite of innumerable phone calls the keep making excuses then assurances and are yet to install the meter as a senior citizen i am finding it very difficult to handle this i request your help and guidance thankyou
                              Gas smell in the kitchen even after turning it off on the stove. This has been happening for last two days. Shutting the gas valve also not surely helping. Please get it rectified immediately

                                This is with reference to your letter ref: mgl/dn/rrm/mc/2017-18/sy/00278 dated[protected] received by me on 07.06.2017, i mr nandkishore j joshi would like to inform you that i have never received any intimation from your end regarding the faulty/defective meter since last 10 years. I feel the company should have informed me immediately at the time only when you noticed my meter is defective & had it replaced, but it did not happened and now after 10 years you have send me a debit note of rs.13237/- which is not liable and i am unable to pay the same.
                                I have not got any written correspondence or any report from the company about the meter being faulty/defective even after regular visits done by your technician since last 10 years. So now suddenly i fail to understand this how come the meter has become faulty/defective?
                                I have been regularly paying all my bills on timely basis as received & as per the usage. Being a retired senior citizen my usage is very less and i personally feel the debit note raised by you is null & void. So i request you to cancel the same at the earliest or else i will be forced to raise the complaint online in consumer forum for the same.

                                  Very bad service

                                  Got a bill amount which was more than twice, hence we raised a complaint after discussing with the mgl service people for leakage /meter checking. As per the mgl the request would have resolved within 7 days, but no 1 showed up for more than a month inspite of repeated reminders (More than 25) to be precise

                                  After 35 days contractor visited and detected leakage and fixed it after paying some fee, but we were told to pay entire bill which was more than twice almost thrice inspite of no fault. Moreover as these people provided service after 35 days more units were added which had an effect on the next bill too, service centre has no answers, they never consider this a fault of mgl we will end uppaying bill of entire year for bill of 4 months.

                                  Shame on these guys for blaming customer no matter whose fault it is and motivating their staff to be arrogant and ignorant to do their work

                                  we are using mahanagar gas for last month bill we get bill of Rs 3090
                                  as its used only for residence
                                  our meter was faulty it was changed twice for last 3 yrs recently changed on 2nd april2017 for last three bills we have average billing of 350 to 200 rupees

                                  after complaining local authority no one is taking action

                                    Hi i want to compliant that today some of your technical people came to our building for repairing and forgot to connect my gas connection again i called many times to customer care they don't even know how to take complaint they haven't take my address and had send technicians to other place please make proper customer care service and train technician how to finish their work some times your customer care calls not connect fast plz do something for that
