MAHINDRA FIRST CHOICE WHEELS LTD , FRANCHISE APPLICAION

WE APPLIED FOR FRANCHISE THISSUR AND GAVE 210,000.00 ( TWO LAKH TEN THOUSAND) RUPEES AS SECURITY DEPOSIT, AFTER THAT COMPANY DIDNOT INFORM ME THE APPLICATION PROCESS AND WE MADE REQUET OF WITHDRAWEL ALSO REFUND OF SECURITY DEPOSIT
AFTER ONE MONTH COPANY SEND ME A CHEQUE OF AMOUNT 185,000.00 ONLY SAYS THAT WE DEBITED 25,000.00 AS PROESSING FEE,

NOW WE HAVE MOVED COPLAINT TO CONSUMER COURT

AS MY EXPERIENCE PLEASE DONT TAKE THE FRANCHISE IT WILL BE BIG LOSS
Today i recieved cheque of rupees 25, 000.00 ( twenty five thousand ) From Mahindra First Choice wheels Limited and the issue is settled.

      your dealer Sterling motors , returned my Scorpio after apparently fixing the clutch problem.

      1)soon after I now had a gear shaft and a gear knob that kept rotating in my hands.Obviously this was shoddy work and service.

      2).Further, while my wife had taken the vehicle out, the remote access stopped working and when she tried to enter with the manual key the alarm kept going off.Neither would the vehicle start. On contacting your help line she was told that she should get the spare remote and key and try with that. She then left the vehicle, got into a rickshaw went home 10kms away and returned in the rickshaw with the spare key and remote. this worked. I then sent the vehicle two days later ( as your service centre is closed on Tuesday) to get this issue fixed as well as the loose gear lever and knob.

      We were told that the battery of the remote had apparently died! are you telling me that this battery life is under one year and less than 9000 kms?!

      3) Anyway they fixed this and apparently also the loose gear lever and knob. However, sterling asked for the vehicle at 10am and took till almost 2pm to hand the vehicle back to me. That too happened only when I began showing my irritation.

      4) About three weeks later,Today- the knob and the lever are again lose and rotating!

      5) Worse still, I took the spare key and remote and now this remote isn't working!!

      What kind of nonsense is this ? I do not have the time and the patience to keep going to your god forsaken service centre and as an extremely irate customer ,I DEMAND that all these issue be fixed quickly, once and for all,and at my doorstep! Please do not force me to take drastic action!

      I purchased a Scorpio VLX regstrn HR26AZ4149, with the assurance of the Mahindra name behind it and WHAT a MISTAKE I have made. This vehicle which you boast off as strong and with great endurance lasted all of 8000 KM and the clutch GAVE WAY!!

      I own only TOYOTA vehicles and this was a third car that I had picked up, purely for the pleasure of driving.I was stuck in this situation bang in the middle of traffic with the police screaming at me and vehicles piled up behind me. I desperately called your dealer Sterling Motors, only to be passed from one phone number to the other. Finally the tow jeep arrived and I drove the towed vehicle to the workshop. I missed several appointments and the vehicle was repaired only by 6pm.

      My complaint ,however isn't with your dealer, but with you and the poor quality of vehicles that you palm off to your customers! I have lost all trust in the scorpio and wouldn't dare drive it in any remote location where your dealer cannot be contacted. In fact I dont know what I'd do if stranded at a late hour.... You have lost a customer.... I wonder if you even care.

      I am a customer of New Mahindra Scorpio VLX - (Chassis No: MA1TA2MHNC2C35105 / Engine No: MHC4C39062) after first service @ 4700Km; vehicle’s oil leak was noticed. Then I contacted service center for help then they told me the oil filter was broken & leakage. Then they installed new oil filter and oil on site where the vehicle was break down, yesterday for testing purpose they told me to bring vehicle to the site. After 8 hours of checking and test drive they certified that the vehicle is perfect for any type of long drives.
      After 4km from the service center I noticed excess dark smoke from the vehicle then I suddenly pulled over the vehicle and opened the bonnet and I noticed oil spread all-around the engine. Again I informed service center and the expert came and informed me that the turbo is having some complaint and need to be replaced they took the vehicle to service center. Then after 7 long days they returned the vehicle back after changing all the damaged parts and they told they tested vehicle and confirmed everything is 100% perfect.
      After 170 km same smoke I noticed from the silencer, suddenly I pulled over the vehicle and found oil was leaking informed service center. They came onsite and checked the vehicle and took to service center. Then they informed there the Turbo is again crashed and need to be replaced and the vehicle is still in service center.

      Summary:-
      Vehicle was smooth and perfect for driving before fist service @ 4500 km, after the first service we are facing the above mentioned issues. So I need to know the technical issues related to this and as a valuable customer I need the vehicle to be replaced as soon as possible. Vehicle is a brand new one with only 6000km on the meter, technical expert from Mahindra told me that this may be a manufacturing defect so I need an assurance solution/replacement of the vehicle.

        Dear Sir I have been driving a scorpio since the last 5 years and have been going to the authorised dealer for even minor complaints, I would like to bring to your notice regarding the air conditioning repair for which I had gone to them about ten days back, I was facing cooling problem and thus went to the authorised dealers (Premier Motors Dehradun). I was told that the problem is due to the bearings which needed to be changed and the Gas had leaked because of this. I was given the vehicle in the evening duly repaired with a bill of Rs. 6200 as I left the workshop the cooling stoped as the gas had leaked. I took the vehicle to the workshop the following day. The next day I was told that the cooling coil needs to be changed and the same is not available and has to come from nasik by courier. The vehicle was delivered to me after 4 days with cooling coil being changed and the bill was Rs. 12000/-. I drove the vehicle about 50 KMs and the gas leaked once again and the cooling stoped. I once again took the vehilce to the workshop. After 2 days I was told that the compressor has leaked and this has to be changed the cost of which is 19000. During this time I tried to contact the MD Mr. Suri so that I could aprise him with the conditio of the staff, I was told at the reception that we dont know where Mr. Suri is and we are not authorized to give you his number. Under the above mentioned circumstances I was compeled to bring the vehicle from the workshop and now having it repaired in the local market.         I bought my Scorpio M2DI in 2008 bearing Engine no.GC84L174S8 and Chassis no. MAITA2GCK82L73089 and having registered in our state of Jharkhand bearing no. JH-09K-2001. I have done all the servicing right in time and as per the guidance of your manual book. My vehicle never met with an accident.But its very unfortunate to say that all over sudden the Chassis of my vehicle completely broke during that time when my whole family members are there in the vehicle .

        In this regard, I have approached your dealer at Dhanbad(Jharkhand) for replacement, thinking that it will cover under warranty period but your official has not taken any initiative for the replacement and directly refused. With this improper response from your authorized dealer I feel that I should inform yourself once as persons does not response properly .
        This annoying attitude of your authorized Agency forcing us to take legal action towards the manufacturer and Mahindra Company.
        If we don’t receive reply from your side, we will file case in consumer court, against the manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra and Auto Planate, authorized dealer of Mahindra & Mahindra for harassing us as your consumer.
        I really have very strong faith on Mahindra Company that’s why I have three vehicles of Mahindra company and fourth one I was just planned to buy within 2 or 3 weeks, I’m sending the copy of quotation also for the forth scorpio which I have taken. But the incident which has happened with me is hurted my trust.
        I will request you to kinldy go into the details of complaint by checking the records.

          I had purchased a second hand certified vehicle from Mahindra First Choice dealer at Noida U.P. on 10/04/2010. I had gone for the extended warranty package which was offered by MFCWL on my purchase of the vehicle. I was very much satisfied with the performance of the vehicle and was very happy with my decision to go with a certified used car till 15th September’2010 when the vehicle suddenly stopped all of a sudden. I immediately called the helpline no and a helpline vehicle was sent to me. The person inspected the vehicle and told me that the vehicle needs to be towed to the workshop as the timing belt has broken down. I was really surprised that how the timing belt of the vehicle can snap just after running the vehicle 3000kms after certification.

          I immediately informed the service engg regarding the same and he asked to inspect the vehicle before committing anything regarding warranty and its scope. The vehicle was inspected at my residence and then asked to tow the vehicle to Nimbus Hyundai where the vehicle has undergone repairs. I was told that that the vehicle will be inspected regarding the damaged and then scope of warranty coverage will be decided. To my surprise service engg called me up after my sms and informed me that timing belt is not covered under warranty and the damages arising from the failure is also not covered. After this I have informed the dealership to continue with the repair process and not to wait for any surveyor to come. What surprises one is that timing belt is clearly mentioned in the parts that are covered under the warranty. This act of Mahindra first choice only leads to two points. 1. May be they are not interested after the vehicle is sold 2. The service people are not at all technical sound to inspect a pre sold vehicle and certify the same.

          Mahindra First Choice does'nt even know the service schedule of any vehicle that they are selling. No service back up for the same is available. No use of the extended warranty that is given on extra cost. Mahindrra First choice people dont know the meaning of the same.

            I bought a car from Mahindra First Choice which is a used car showroom. I have faced many problems with this car. The company people reject to attend if there is any problem. They say we dont have time. If we call the manager he says dont call me for such small problems. Tell whom to call now?
            I have given my Scorpio car for a service on 5/11/12 for a simple service.I have instructed to take the service in Guindy, But without my knowledge they have taken to Nerkundram.They committed nme to deliver in a day, Being additional work they asked me for one more day.till date they have not delivered my vehicle.From the day 2 i have spent Rs.5000 for my local and outstation as my travelling expenses.Please take care of my expenses and reply ASAP

              I had purchased my Scorpio LX in July’09 from Silver Jublee motors, Pune. Since last 4 months I have been facing a peculiar problem – there is water that is getting accumulated beneath the front seat floor mats. The situation is really bad when I am driving with my AC on. Once I had gone to Mumbai with AC switched on and the entire matting, carpet and floor mats were drenched in water.

              Last week I had sent the car for my 3rd free servicing to the silver jublee workshop in pimpri-chinchwad. I had specifically asked them to correct the problem and told them to possibly check the AC pipe leakage inside the car as the problem becomes acute with AC on.

              The car has come back from the service and instead of correcting this problem they changed my rear suspension bushes – when there was no problem with the drive. The vehicle has just done 13500 kms so there was no need to change the bushes!

              And the actual problem of front floor getting wet has not been rectified despite specifically telling them to rectify the roblem. I need some help to address this problem as I am getting very frustrated and fear that the entire floor plate will get damaged if this is not addressed on priority.

                I purchased madindra scorpio 2years back TN 20 AC 1999 and i followed all the instructions provided by the company ,inspite i park my car only in a close shed .. know the enamel (paint) coming out and rusting starts very badly ,i approached the company they say to paint the whole vehicle which is costing more than a lakh . inspite of spending lakhs to buy the car its not worth and that i have to bear the charge.They are not even bothered to give proper reply pleace take required action where i can get justice

                I have purchased the above vehicle from your dealer MPL in Nelson manickam raod, Chennai in the month of November 2011. Within the period of 5 months we noticed there is lot rust in the engine and showed to your dealer MPL services unit in virgumbakkam.

                1. They told they will take photos and we will forwarded the same to Mahindra before one month and they told they will update, but till today they didn’t update about the solution.
                2. Again today we went along with vehicle and showed them the vehicle, once again they told us to write to Mahindra customer care but we didn’t get any solution.

                Finlay they told me that they can’t do anything, it will be taken care by the manufacturer i.e. Mahindra only and we are helpless.

                I would like to know whether the dealer is having any moral responsibility or not? This type of treatment from your dealer not expected being Mahindra dealer which is reputed company in India.

                Kindly find the attached file for the Photos of our vehicle. Seeing in this condition we are afraid to drive the vehicle on the road, because I may met any accident and we are worried in seeing the vehicle in this poor condition. This is my prestigious vehicle in our family, after purchase of the vehicle I am not getting proper customer care it is utter waste of my investment on this vehicle. My family people are so much worried and mental agony and what to do now.

                I hope you will understand my situation and my family.

                Therefore we request you to change the vehicle without any manufacturing fault. If not possible please take the vehicle back and return our amount immediately. Due to this problem
                I unable to use the vehicle and it is affect my business too.

                Kindly look into the matter urgently and solve my problem. Your immediate response will be appreciated.

                  This reference to our Scorpio Vehicle Purchased from Nexzen Technologies (P) Ltd. Ranchi Vide their Bill No.05060286 Dt. 7/7/2005 for Rs. 6,80,564.00 Eng . No. – BS54F39194 , Chassis No. – MA1TA2BSC52F73592 , Reg. No.- JH05N 2051.

                  The matter of Uttar surprise that undersign was returning for Bhubaneswar to Jamshedpur approx. 400 Km. run and last stoppage rest was 50 km. & waiting time was 45 – 60 minutes before reach destination ( Jamshedpur ) . When enter the Town & move for residence , the Vehicle has started to burn below the BONUT Part and immediate within 20-25 minutes it was total burned down, FOR GOD – SHAKE UNDERSIGN HAS SUCCESS TO SAVE HIS LIFE.

                  We request you why not you inspect the Vehicle ? It is a matter of research and analysis to make / alter on future manufacturing vehicle because SIGMA failed to alert for fault.

                  We also like to request you to provide NEW VEHICLE as it is genuine case for country’s most reputed manufacturer. We attaching herewith News Paper cutting for your knowledge.

                    I am prithviraj yadav would you like to inform you, i purchased Scorpio EX on 11/11/2011 .my vehicle fuel indicator not working since date of delivery, during delivery no body checked properly, because vehicle delivered in night time .next day i fill diesel fully but indicator sowing only 20 % .i complaint & bring vehicle in agency technical team said during first service we will rectify. But during vehicle servicing no body rectify that Issue, your people are saying spare not available . so many time i approach them but no body proper responding, please do needful

                      previously I owned a bolero glx which I bought from Bhopal motors and kept it for 5years with no problem in it. then i have purchased a Scorpio mhawk on 1st nov 2009 from narmada mahindra hoshangabaad(mp04 7452). it goes well for 3 months but after that one day I was traveling with my family on Sunday i stopped at a place to get water and as I get back the car doesn’t start ,i called the customer care then they toe my vehicle saying that it’s immobilizer got on they kept the car there for week bcoz they said that they don’t have the cord which is attach with laptop to switch off the immobilizer & start the car .okays after that this thing happened 10 times sometimes when I park it in my garage or sometimes at the road or on highway with my family, ultimately I asked at the workshop to check it finally so they kept it there for 15 days saying this that engineers from nasik are coming and what the engineer from nasik has done is that he changed the lock and said that there is a problem in the lock . company and the workshop said that now it won’t make any problem again in future but last 15 days before again when the car is parked in my garage again it’s immobilizer got on again I called the engineer mr.mohsin came he tried a lot and started the vehicle but as he is going again the car got locked and so he called the spare Scorpio to toe it .I contact mr.lalit sharma regional office mr.tiwari workshop owner win win but no one has the satisfactory reply again they are saying that we have checked now in future it won’t make any problem so I asked them to get me in written that if again this is going to happen mahindra & mahindra is going to replace this one with a new car but they said that we can extend the warranty but can’t commit I have paid Rs 1000000 and got no commitment okays if they extend the warranty & again same thing happens when I am traveling with my family what should I do ???. I have faced many problems till now bcoz o[censored]r vehicle sometimes with my family on a highways cancelled my deals, cancelled my appointments, get together & even some parties. Rented a taxi many a times .wholesome i got a loss of around Rs 100000(bills of taxis & deals cancelled). both the workshops win win and s m garages have a record how many times they have sent there engineers to unlock the vehicle. so what should I do now ??? Should i go to consumer forum, media or never suggest anyone to go for mahindra vehicle

                        on the day of service it got some big problem its ire got shot and we have to sufer lot of problem as no one from the service centre came to check it out it got jammed neither it was moving so we hired crane and take it to their service centre where we were not given proper response

                          I would like to inform you that, I bought one Scorpio M Hawk on 27th March 2009 bearing Engine no.HA94B11060 and Chassis no. MAIT2HAN92B and having registered in our state of Arunachal Pradesh bearing no. AR-01C-6700. I have done all the servicing right in time and as per the guidance of your manual book. My vehicle never met with an accident in this last 16(sixteen) months .But its very unfortunate to say that all over sudden the Chassis of my vehicle completely broke on the left front side.

                          In this regard, I have approached your dealer at Tezpur(Assam) for replacement, thinking that it will cover under warranty period but your official has not taken any initiative for the replacement and directly refused. With this improper response from your authorized dealer I feel that I should inform yourself once as persons does not response properly . Now, I have sent the vehicle to another authorized dealer i.e Rhino farm and Equipments at Guwahati (Assam) which is around 200 kms from Tezpur.










                          In these regard, I am to inform you to direct the authorize dealer of Guwahati to comply with the warranty as per formalities laid down.

                          Mahindra dealers in Mumbai are totally awful as well. In particular stay well away from the dealership in Saki Naka (Andheri) and Prabhadevi. Even when trying to purchase a new vehicle I had to constantly chase, at one dealership I rang 12 times in a single day and still didn't manage to arrange a test drive!! Another dealership didn't even know the correct prices for their extended warranties! All in all a total disappointment, one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

                          In the end I bought a safari from sai dealership!!

                            I am really lucky and thankfull to this website who brought immediate attention of Service team of mahindra scorpio of Orissa circle and all problems are solve to my full satisfaction. My scorpio VLX with airbag Regd Number OR15Q-19 had some technical problem. I am Thankful to Mr S. Jena, the way he called me and solved my problem with personal touch.

                              We need Scorpio Top model (white colour) 8 seater with Air Bag urgently.
                              we asking vehicle for past 45days but still now we didnt get any response from showroom.
                              They are saying that vehicle is already booked it is delayed.also not even giving any further
                              feedback about vehicle.As a Customer what would we do for this.we can wait for 1 or 2 weeks
                              more than that means how its possible.we are suffering a lot and please sort out the problem

                              Dear Sir,
                              Please be informed that the above car has been given to your workshop on 28.08.2012 at Rudra Automart, Asansole, West Bengal, with some technical problem. Initially your service engineer told me change fuel pump injector & afterwards i have been informed to replace the fuel pump injector & then told me fuel pump is damaged after i have been change fuel pump. After proper anticipation from my end in the regard, now your service engineer is asked for total engine over hauling, I am surprised to see such unprofessional attitude from a reputed organisation like you i am suffering huge financial loss due to this incident with this present scenario it is not possible for me to bear the cost of servicing since it is not clear what is the actual problem. need full at FOC basis.

                                I am very dissatisfied by your services. I purchased a new Mahindra Scorpio VLX on 5th Jan 2010 with my hard earn money. It has been only 3 months and out of these 3 months the car has been in your workshop for around 30 days. Every now and then it develops some problem but none of your technician is able to exactly detect it.

                                First it was Turbo charger and it took 12 days. Then other problem of Fuel Pump occur after a few days and it took 8 days. Then i face starting problem in my car, it took 2 days. And recently there was problem in AC and Mileage and my car is still in your workshop for the last 3 days. God knows when i got my car and what will be the next problem i will face.

                                Now what i feel is i have been handed over a defective car and it has been highly unprofessional on your part. Now You have left me with no other option other than going to the consumer court. I am facing so many other problems without my car, i am daily expending Rs.1000 on a cab. Its my request to change my car and provide me a new car.

                                  I have booked the Santro vehicle from AGIL CAR (Mahindra First Choice) in Hyderabad.
                                  I had paid the booking amount 10000/=.

                                  I had applied for vehicle loan through HDFC. HDFC is partner to Mahindra First choice (AGIL CAR).
                                  There was a delay for 11 days from HDFC as they were getting approval for loan and in the mean time, I had got job offer in different state.
                                  So I informed AGIL Car and cancel the Order.

                                  They refuse to give money and told that it is under the agreement that Booking Amount will be forfeited if booking is cancelled.
                                  I was unaware of this clause and they had kept me in dark.
                                  I came to know only when I cancelled the order with them.
                                  This was one of the most important aspect of the agreement as money transaction was involved and

                                  They did not bother to show me those details.

                                  They had not given me the copy of the agreement and I am sure these lines may be fine printed in one of those pages on which I was asked to sign across.

                                  It is a pure case of forgery where they have taken my signature and not bothered to give me the copy of the agreement.

                                  I want them understand that they have NO right to keep other party in dark and so I want to teach a lesson.
                                  They cannot fool the customer the way they have done it to me.

                                  Hi,

                                  I called the dealer and his employee requested me to visit and get the copy of the
                                  agreement. I asked him if he can post that document to me. He did not do so.

                                  So I reached there and asked for the agreement copy. The delear took me to 2nd floor office and
                                  shown me the earlier complaint that I had lodged. He started abusing me consistently.
                                  I told him that well please, advice if I can buy this from any other mahindra first choice
                                  anywhere in India with this reference.

                                  But he was more concerned about the compliant I logged and was abusive to me.
                                  I was shocked. I never thought that seller can ever treat a prospective buyer in this manner.
                                  After all, Mahindra First Choice is allover India and I could get a car from anywhere.

                                  His thought was that I would use this agreement to go to police and file a complaint.
                                  I would like to remind that the moment he started using bad words I decided 3 things.


                                  1. I am planning to buy a car, I will not buy it from Mahindra First Choice.

                                  2. I will buy any branded car/item that has no parts from Mahindra.

                                  3. I will tell my collegues/friends/relatives to contemplate the incident that I have gone through
                                  before doing any transaction with Mahindra First Choice.

                                  It is not the question of 10000/= that I have lost. It is the faith I had in Mahindra First Choice which is
                                  now no more. One should be customer centric and must never be abusive to customer.

                                  Through this mail, I would like to remind mr. seller that customerlike me, incerely have no time to report such
                                  pity issues in court or forum for Rs. 10000/=as many other options available.
                                  One such experince is good enough to know the style of business from particular sellers.

                                  I purchased a car FORD IKON from mahindra first choice. Delivered the car in poor condition and not rectified & not listening to any complaints after the sale.

                                  One year waranty is totaly fraud & fake.

                                  They did big blunder in name transfer of the vehicle. Instead of transfering the the ownership, they got duplicate RC and information about the vehicle and my details (except vehicle number and my name) are wrongly printed on the Duplicate RC. Now they are not accepting their wrong doing and also charging exhorbitantly for the job of name transfer.

                                    I bought a second hand Honda City 2004 model from Mahindra First Choice, Goregaon West Branch in 2009. When the vehicle was first shown to me it had minor points for paint touch ups, head lamp fogs and some grease/ oil marks on the door panel (inside) rectification. I had pointed out these to the Manager (Mr Shetty) there. He assured me of rectifying all that with a great air of confidence that I would love the vehicle when it is all done. The price quoted was 4.25 lac+. Given the personal assurances by the Manager and credibility of Mahindra brand, I decided to buy the vehicle.
                                    On the date of delivery, I was called in the morning at 10:00 only to be kept waiting till 4:30 pm. The vehicle was delivered and looked awesome with polish etc. I went through the check points and found things in order, still Mahindra credibility at the back of my mind, not doubting, I took the delivery.
                                    Day 1: I found the rubber beading on front door ruptured. It was crudely stuck with glue!
                                    Day 2: I discovered that the grease marks on door panel were faint but very much there and looked bad.
                                    Day 5: The fogs in head lamps reappeared. They were not replaced as assured by the Manager. Also, the driver door panel paint was out, it was not painted but hidden in polish!
                                    Day 7: I experienced starting problem. Had to crank the engine thrice to start. This happened on a traffic signal and Mumbaikars know it well how embarassing it becomes.

                                    With all the above, I took the vehicle back to the dealer only experience the typical "post sale" obnoxious attitude that they has nothing to do with all that as they don't guarantee anything else other than transmission/ engine. As a favor, they took out the head lamps and defogged it. Regarding starting they suggested to run the vehicle so that battery is adequately charged. A week after delivery battery to be charged!!

                                    Then came the first free 3 months service, I also requested for pant touch up near door panel and cleaning of grease marks. The vehicle serviced, shining, I took the delivery. After service:
                                    Day 1: The fragrance in my car had disappeared and was replaced by odour. I found the driver side floor mat wet, close to dripping! Mahindra brand credibility fainting, but still I thought that water would have seeped in while servicing. Dried the mats...already had a fair share of embarrassment in my family.
                                    Day 5: Discovered that the paint on the door panel was done by a crude paint brush!! The one like my kids do. Looked worse.
                                    Day 10: It was raining and I took out the car for a drive nearby. Past 10 mins, I realised that the brake and clutch pedal were splashing on a water pool!! My shoes were half way into water. The vehicle leaked!!
                                    Day 11: rushed back to the service centre only get the jolt again that these are not covered in service. I was shaken and out of my mind, threat mixed with request, asked the service engineer (Mr Santosh) to check if it can be repaired. He called me next day.
                                    My Job didn't permit me to go back for another 10 days. Those 10 days, every day the my car used to get pooled in water and in the night by 10 when used to return from office, I had to drain it. The ordeal and I knew that I have been tricked.
                                    The first opportunity, I took leave for car repair. It was repaired as per the engineer, by 7 pm. He didn't charge anything. Still hopeful, I took delivery and back home I realised that the roof strips were missing!! When I called back, the engineer completely disowned any responsibility after the vehicle is delivered. I knew I was tricked again.
                                    Month 9: My AC stopped working. Again took it back to the workshop for a bill of Rs.3000. I caught them red-handed replacing an old coil/clutch for the AC compressor. But the service engineer adamant...he said he cannot repair it otherwise, and that if I pay less then he would remove the replaced part!!! I succumbed and paid (negotiated for little less)...knowing fully well that I paid full for an old component!!
                                    Month 10: Starting problem persisting, I got the battery checked, found its close to be dead. Had to be replaced.

                                    For me the Mahindra credibility has shattered now and that the First Choice is nothing better than a typical road side garage. Want to write more but getting late for office.

                                    Will my complaint be taken up. Does it happen in India!! I have my doubts.

                                    He took 5000 rs. from me to get my and my son's name change and get my pan card on 17th of july.. he told me he will give me documents by 20th.. but whenever i called him for documents he made excuses and now he is not picking up my phone..

                                    1) My car has also started filling water in the drivers seat, when i informed the Garage people about the same they said it is not covered under warrantly. we pay more than the market price for 2nd hand car's and purchase them from a reputed comany called Mahindra first choice but what we get a piece of crap, why are they fooling people, why it happens in india why can't people speak the truth while selling something to people who purchased this things from there hard earned money. today for my family it seem like another headache. I have given my car to repair the power stering and it has been 15 days and they still need more day. The reply i got was that people from Mahinidra takes time to come and clear the warranty things. i have already paid all the money i had, now were will i go to repair the water logging problem will mahindra fist choice return the hard earned money that we paid extra to get a good second hand car. waiting for reply

                                    Mr. Sandeep / Mr. srivastava, i wish i had read this before i got myself a maruti 800 from Mahindra frustrated choice ( or i shud say Mahindra last choice )

                                    Wen i seen the car first, it was sparkling from the exterior, on the day of delivery...the unexpected happens, a big dent on the right side of the bonet above the tyres...oops moment for me, but i said its ok, let me take it, my first car...once i got in the window glass comes crashing down trying to lower it for my wife who was besides me...awesome, i said its ok, happens, got it my self to the mechanic the same time and paid out of my pocket... drove it home though...

                                    i use it twice a week on weekend most of the times, as my job doesnt allow me time at all during weekdays...one more surprise day of my relatives wedding, car refuses to start in the middle of traffic, saturday evening at about 6:30 pm...my heart was in my mouth... some how after 15 / 20 mins of trying miracle, it started...

                                    The next day, battery is dead and so was Mahindra dead for me... i am still paying EMI for the junck i purchased...and paid putright for the new battery too...

                                    I dont feel like writing more as that keeps me hunting right throughout...

                                    I brought it from MFCL MIraroad branch.. Thank god the showroom is now closed for good...

                                      Same with my car they seem to have no clue, n my service Center India Garage seems to be acting even funnier. The service Center head Mr. Hament is a irresponsible person every time I send the car it goes back with a bigger problem. I asked him for the rusting of door and same answer as you got, looks like every one in Mahindra are either def or insensitive. 2months back there was huge smoke from the engine and they said there was no problem, yesterday while going to the office it broke down at rammurthy nagar and now they say the engine has conked. The bill last time was around 14k and now it's giving to be 2lakh because of the irresponsible person called Hament. Who will bare these expenses.

                                        FROM NINE MONTHS I AM SUFFERING
                                        I purchased a Scorpio Hawk BS3 ( REF 2WD 7STR RHD TC5 ) on 03/07/2009.The Dealer delivered the vehicle to me in evening after doing all checks.Next day morning ,I wen't to the dealer and complaint of MICRO HYBRID & CRUISE CONTROLS not functioning. The dealer engaged a supervisor to check the problem.In the afternoon they contacted me and said that we couldn't detect the fault .They requested me to bring the vehicle after two days as some engineer was comming from Chandigarh..
                                        After two days I again went to the dealer.The engineer was present and they started checking with a laptop.In afternoon the engineer called me and said that the cruise control nd micro hybrid were not functional, as there was a DEFECT in parts fitted by the company.HE assured me that the defected parts will be changed and the PROBLEM will be rectified within a WEEKS TIME..
                                        FROM THAT DAY ONWARDS ,NOR THE PARTS CAME ND NOR THE PROBLEM RECTIFIED..After repeated request and reminders no one from COMPANY nd THE DEALER solved my problem..
                                        In fact last month i called in Chandigarh office and complained about the problem but they also ignored..
                                        WHAT IS THE FUN OF BUYING THE TOP MODEL AND U CANNOT USE THE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY ..THIS IS THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE COMPANY...I WAS (AM)DEPRIVED OF TECHNOLOGY AFTER PAYING FULL AMOUNT AND THUS CHEATED .. The failure to use reasonable care...

                                        DISAPPOINTMENT
                                        My vehicle (Mahindra Scorpio Ex) purchased from Brajesh Automobiles Pvt. Ltd Purnia, Bihar on 10.12.2011. It has major problem in clutch system. 1 st. clutch was burned with pressure plate and speed sensor due to mechanical fault and then changed on 30.04.2012 after 4 month only at Mahindra servicing center G.L. motors, Deoghar, Jharkhand by bill no. RBD13A000325. Again after nearly 400 km run clutch plate burned and changed at Brajesh automobile, Purnia on 6.5.2012 by bill no 1511 dated 6/5/2012. Today only after 150 km run clutch plate is giving smell. I am feeling it is more when in reverse gear. Please consider the problem for the reputation of company and customer satisfaction.
