My scorpio has got the engine starting problem and i took it to the MAHINDRA SERVICE CENTRE in Patna .I have taken the SCORPIO SHIELD extended warranty and as per the terms my vehicle is under the warranty.The service manager is telling that water has entered inside the engine and engine got damaged .The repair cost of Rs.1.5 Lacs to be borne by me.Their point is that, since i was driving the vehicle in heavy rain thats why water went inside.I think if this is the case then they should have made a condition in their warranty that the vehicle should not be driven in rain.What is the course left for me?Can i go to the consumerforum against the Company?I have already registered a complaint with their customer care.Whether the ROYALSUNDARAM ASSURANCE CO,my insurer of the vehicle will help in any way? Please advice

    This is my second time complaint earlier i have comlpained on 23.09.2011.but does not solved till date. i have repaired my scorpio car from M/s Swami automobile pvt.ltd on 22.08.2011 & they have give me estimate of Rs.7500 to 8000/- after repaired my car they have charged Rs 12839/- they have change car front bumper without my notice, my old bumper is perfectely all right.when iwill give my car for repair iam stickley refused to donot change my car bumper.Mr.Inderjeet from Mah&Mah has contacted me and his says within two three days you should get your refund.Noboby contact to me till date. Now my further new complaint regarding installation of right side headlight rainy water (water in head light ) in headlight noticed and i go to swami automobiles and they have replace the same day.after 2 days again same problem water miosters in the head light now they says this is manufacturing problem and we do not have any headlight in the store this lot of head light is defected. when new lot is coming we will inform you.Can you tell me when i spent Rs.5030/- for new head light and installed from co. workshop where i go for justice. I have get all bills with writing for relacement of headlight.Thanks

    no responsable person in swami agency and workshop sunday should be open. NO proper space for custmers.

      I have serviced my mahindra scorpio on 08/082011 from SAHYADRI MOTORS, Swargate Pune. ( MH 12 DM 8643 ) We are not at all satisfied with servicing done. Suspension, clutch plate, stearing vibration issues are still pending, Your executives Mr. Salunke & Mr. Patil are found very inco-operative, i have already paid Rs. 60000/- yet, but in vain.Plz do the needful, otherwise we will have to think about the other options.

        I have purchased a car INDIGO CS LS TDI from Mahindera First Choice Pre-Owned car franchise M/s Supreme Auto in amritsar, they give me wrong information while selling the car, they use un lawful business practice to sell their product, wrong commitments were made by them are as under.
        1. All 5 tires are new ( all 5 tires are damaged & can not be used even in day to day usage)
        2. Meter is not tempered ( on contacting the tata work shop it has come to my knowledge that meter is tempered)
        3. Car is non accidental and just scratches are painted ( car is accidental and right back is completely repaired)

            Dear Sir


            1. I am a serving Indian Air Force officer and I own a white coloured Mahindra Scorpio Vlx model which I purchased on 11 Nov 10 from Punjab Automobiles, Ahmedabad.

            2. I am presently posted at Dibrugarh (Assam) and I have been using my Scorpio in Dibrugarh since January 11. On 10 Jun 11 I noticed a crack on the wind screen of my Scorpio. The vehicle had completed only 4210 kms till that day. The vehicle was parked at my house and has not had any accident/incident which may lead to such a crack. I am attaching the pictures of the crack on the windscreen and it is clearly visible that the crack is not due to any external impact. Physical examination does not show any impact marks anywhere on the vehicle or on the windscreen.

            3. This being a new vehicle, the appearance of such an unexplained crack on the windscreen is entirely unexpected. Especially because Mahindra has always advertised the Scorpio for its toughness, ruggedness and solid build as well as performance. Not only is this bad advertising for the brand SCORPIO but it also causes loss of faith in the quality and build of the vehicle. The Scorpio is advertised as an SUV able to withstand harsh terrain and weather conditions but in this case a new car, which has been maintained till now with absolute care, has developed a crack on the windscreen while other small cars with supposedly less emphasis on toughness have not experienced any such incident in this area.

            4. I request that the matter be taken up with the appropriate authorities at Mahindra & Mahindra and the damaged windscreen be either replaced or alternative measures suggested to rectify the crack on the windscreen.

            5. The vehicle is only 7 months old and under warranty for 2 years and the replacement of the faulty windscreen will go a long way in ensuring the commitment of Mahindra towards faultless and committed service to its customers and will also reinforce the customer’s faith in the toughness, ruggedness, strength and performance quality that the Mahindra Scorpio stands for.

            6. I sincerely hope for a speedy resolution to the problem.

              For the 5 months ago my car not repaired after the accident, this is very bad,how much mahindra company goodwill goes down,this is not good,i asked the bodyworkshop man he told me my scorpios every parts arrived but they need more time for repairing ,already 5 months gone.my cars painting done ,only fittings remaining,really only three days will taken for repairing remaining part(fitting),but they are not willing to complete it,why ?
              For the customer satisfaction please take a necessary action otherwise the mahindra company"s goodwill will goes down.As a customer of you do anything for us.please this a request.

                (Sub-Delay in the repairing service of my car)
                Respected Sir,
                I have a black scorpio having chasis no- MA1TB2BSL82A69529, engine no-BS74M75003 registration date[protected].My registered vehicle no is DL4CNB 2776 in name of Om Prabha Salhotra, B9/97,AIR INDIA COLONY,VASANT VIHAR,NEW DELHI.
                My car met with an accident on 12th May 2011 and it was towed away by the concerned authority on the same day evening to M/S Bhasin Motors, Sarita Vihar.It took around 7-10 days to complete the formalities by the Insurance company, Reliance General Life Insurance Ltd.I have insured my car by the above said company having insurance no[protected].The date of expiry of insurance is 31st January 2012.I was assured that my work will start as soon as possible.I was constantly in touch with Mr Arora,Work shop Manager, Bhasin Motors who informed me about the status of the vehicle and delivery of car as soon as it finishes. On last week of May around 25th May I visited the workshop myself at JAITPUR with Mr Arora and was surprised to see that nothing much was done. At that time I was told that the roof has to be changed and a demand has been put up for the required component to be brought from Mahindra. On 1st week of June I called up Me Arora about the status of my car and he told that he has been waiting for the arrival of the above component which will be delivered soon. After three days (7-8 June) I called up again Mr Arora and he said that they are still waiting. Afterthat, I spoke to Vivek Singh, Customer Care, Bhasin Motors and requested him to look into the matter who assured me that he would communicate it to the concerned authority and get back to me soon. Though he never called back, I was making call everyday to him for almost 10 days.I was told the same thing that the component which needs to be put into the vehicle is not available with Mahindra and it might take another few days to a month or more.
                I request him that alternate vehicle should be provided to me if he himself isnot certain about the actual delivery of the component. I am having serious backpain thatswhy I can’t travel in autos. I also spoke to Kuldeep Singh, GM, Bhasin motors about this matter but it is of no use. I am staying with my family members and kids, who ar having summer holidays. As I have no vehicle, I cant even move around with my kids which is more pathetic. I have been travelling by auto and taxis since 12nd May which has increased not only my expenses but also my discomfort, back pain and wastage of valuable time and money. I am helpless now with no personal vehicle. I am running from pillar to post for my work being done. I would like to know from the concerned authority how much time company should take a project to complete and what are the penalties for not delivering a project on time. For your information I am putting up a complaint in consumer court to let them decide what course f action should be taken.

                Mahindra - Scorpio — Delay in delivery

                Dear Sir,

                This is K.Porkovalavan from Chennai and I want to complaint the delivery and repairing performance by M&M’s Authorised Dealers Service.

                My brother’s(Mr.SARAVANAN) Scorpio (Regn. No.TN09 AS 5065)vehicle had the accident during the month of may 2008 and we are hand over the accident vehicle on[protected] for repairing with advance payment of Rs.1/- Lac by cash at your authorised dealer in Chennai (INDIA GARRAGE) having the service station at the following address after confirmed by them within 20 days the repairs will be completed.

                We had handed over the vehicle for repairing as per the commitment of within 30 days it will be ready, but we are going to see the vehicle on[protected] and surprised that, they don’t taken the vehicle for repairing till that date.

                For that, we had made the complaint to one of your customer care executive on[protected] vide you Docket Ref No. HG07 / 0046. After made the complaint they had immediately taken the vehicle for repairing purpose in shop floor and again they are committed within 20 days will be delivered the vehicle.

                Now, the date is[protected], and understand from your authorised dealer’s staff Mr.Jayagovind – Mobile No.[protected] the vehicle is not ready due to some of the spares unavailability.

                Now, I want to know that, have to wait another how many months to take a delivery.

                Mahindra Scorpio — Delay in Repairs

                Dear Sir:

                My Mahindra Scorpio car has been lying with Koncept Motors, Noida since Sep 1, 2010. The car has not been repaired because the spare parts are not being made available from Mahindra from its Nasik plant.

                My car is still lying at the workshop and workshop has no idea when my car would be repaired because the car manufacturer has not given any timeline on supply of parts.

                My car is just 2 years old ( Mahindra Mhawk) and under-production. I have tried complaining to the manufactuer but have got no reverts in the past.

                Please help me find a suitable remedy.

                Mahindra Scorpio — Repair

                Dear Sir,

                I had given my above said car "HR 51 AB 0345" for repair work on Friday i.e[protected] at Sterling Motors , Mathura Road, Faridabad with the commitment by Sterling staff that you Will get your car on Saturday i.e.[protected] at 11.00 A.M after complete repair work, but it is regretted that I did not get my car on that day. Further, I received one call on Monday i.e[protected] from Sterling staff that your car in the process of repair and he will update me in the evening with the latest scenario of my car. Today, I wait up to 12.00 P.M and after getting no call from your side then I call to Sterling staff, he was telling that Mr Rahul has reached to the workshop and I will tell you the scene after some time.
                I am not able to understand that 1. The car in process of repair is manufactured by Mahindra Motors . 2. Sterling repairing staff must be trained by Mahindra People. 3.Is there some mistake on my part that I have given my car for repair at the wrong place.

                Please take the answer of my questions, so, I could make myself correct and no mistake should be occurred in future.

                  Hi M&M,

                  I am joining the elite group of those dissatisfied customers present across this country and still using your company manufactured, much publicised, your market saved vehicle SCORPIO.

                  I gave my Vehicle (TN-04 R 6162) for a regular maintanence service (70,000KM) with few more compliants related to AC & seating alignment on 26/02/2011 (Saturday) to your esteemed dealer MPL Motors, Vadapalani, Chennai.

                  The Service Advisor (Ranjith) noted down my complaints in the Jobsheet and for seat alignment and parts requested me to give some time to fix. Since i want the complaints to be resolved, told him to take 6 days time which he accepted and promised to deliver. The next day, he called me and told there are some more complaints in the vehicle which may cost close to 25,000 rs / - for which he wanted my approval. I gave him the approval the very next day. But on the 6th day when i checked whether the vehicle is ready for delivery, i was told it will take some more time. Also, he wanted to know whether i would like to get the broken front wind shield to be replaced through insurance for which i asked him the formality. I didnt get any response back on the formality to be followed for the next 4 days. On wednesday, i went with the docs for insurance cliam, where i was told it is not sufficient to process insurance. I was frustrated, as after following up for 4 days and confimring on the documentation required, all my effort to travel from home to service centre gone waste. No one to compensate that?..

                  My agony continued after that also.The SE called me after 14days and said the vehicle is ready for delivery beliving the same i went with full cash of 58,000rs/- and pushed to my extreme frutration level when i inspected the vehicle and found out that almost all the complaints i gave unattended!!!!!!!!..........

                  What to do?? at that point i thought i could have learned Car Mechanism......

                  My question here is: If none of the visible problem was rectified, how i belive that your service would have carried out other complaints?

                  I returned home without the Vehicle but with complete disappointment!!!!!!!!!

                  After 4 further days of time, they delivered the vehicle at my home, belive me or not in the same condition as what i saw 4 days earlier!!!!!!!

                  I dont want to use the word frustration as alredy mentioned i had already reached the height of the same.

                  I told them i cannot pay untill all my problems are rectified,for which the SE & the driver threatened of going to police and file a case against me. I guess nowadays one who does all wrong has got the right to go to police???

                  I told them do whatever they wanted to do, i cannot pay. After 2 days, their manager (Vaidhyanathan) called and promised that will take good care!! of the vehicle and will deliver in proper condition.

                  Finally after 23 days of struggle, i was told to collect the vehicle on 04/04/2011 morning 9:00AM IST. When i went there found my vehicle in a unclean condition.Thought myself that i could clean it, but when i checked further, found that few more complaints were still not done. I waited for 4 hrs to finally get my hand on the vehicle. But, still the vehicle is having problem with AC, when i pointed it to their manager, he told me that it is a minor problem and he could do a service sometime later with discount.

                  Hope you all would have read till now.

                  To register my (donno what to put)..called up your feedback cell -- [protected] and told whatever i faced. That guy (Gaurav) promised me that the Area Manager / Service Manager from Mahindra will connect me within a days time to resolve the issue and gave me a complaint number KD05/0236. but as expected none reached me so far!

                  Would like to know,

                  Whether your Aim is to make Money alone?
                  Are you people becoming deaf & dumb once your vehicle is sold?
                  Is that you think that "what will happen if one is going to shout like this"?
                  Dont you want me to buy another Scorpio (i considered my proud to own one till this incident - Now will definitely wont think or recommend)
                  What is that action that will taken against the Dealer / SM for making one of your customer wait for 23days and finally delivering the vehicle with complaints unresolved?

                  Will doing service later with discount will solve the very basic motto of your Hamesha?

                  Would recommend you to remove your advertisement on "Hamesha" with so many good lines which your dealers never mind to follow.

                  I am the owner of a mahindra scorpio (no RJ-19 UA 0321 ) SLX last 2 year this vehicle purchased
                  from Mr. DR naveen kishoria & dr naveen kishoria purchased from O.S.Motors, jodhpur, 10 days
                  before My car engine have some problem & I took my car to same dealer for service .dealer asked
                  me For repairing exp. Of engine cost about 20000/- aprox but 3 days after dealer asked me in Engine
                  more problem so cost about repiring approx 30000/-after 6 days dealer give me my Car &
                  reparing bill 40135/-but next when I start my car car not start than I call to dealer Then dealer
                  asked me car battery not charged so this problem start problem .now 1 days After they asked
                  to me sir turbo problem .so turbo changes is necessary & cost about this 15000/- .
                  my friend I am very upset your poor service station . & now I decided never taken Any mahindera
                  vehicle & not suggest anyone for go mahindera vehicle.I am totally fedup the service of your delar.

                    In our family we had bought 2 petrol scorpios 5 years ago, and when one started giving trouble, we approached the service centre who said they had no parts, and that we could give them over 1 lac to import parts from France. Since my nephew did not do so, the car became grounded and is lying unused till this date, Then a month back my scorpio could not start and when the co was approached, they said they have discontinued the petrol scorpio, and they have stopped repairing the same. This is total cheating as when we purchased the vehicles, we were never told that only a small percentage of petrol cars were being made and that we were to purchase them at our risk. The manager even told my driver that it was good that it had even lasted this long. This is extremely insensitive of them, and we seek compensation from the company. 8 lacs is not a small price to pay for a car and then run it for 5 years.

                      this letter is to inform u that , i have given my scorpio in your dealer work shop in rourkela beause i have faced some electric problem so by seeing the problem the work shop people said they will give the car intwo hrs but till today i have not get the car .so i am feeling frustated and using taxi which per day rent i have to pay 1500 .and today i got to know that my car is totally opened and they are not getting the problem.
                      so kindly look in this matter i am feeling cheated

                      I have not received my car as yet without any intimation from Bhasin Motors or Mahindra.

                      It has become a routine to me now.
                      Today I had given my scorpio for servicing and as usual (trademarked service standards) the below-mentioned pain areas:

                      - Despite giving clear cut instructions that the key should not be left in the car, it was left thrice and everytime the window beeding was taken out to open the door and take the key out. I am really very finicky about this (Sorry, if you are not and I beg to and happily would choose to differ) and if you can read this entire chain of communication in this very mail, you will understand this.

                      - During last servicing I had my wheel balancing and alignment done, on which I have complaints. Why in one single instance everything is done (though communicated always that it has been done perfectly : Blatant Lie)

                      - It has been a routine that whenever I give my car for servicing (always at authorised service station ie Bhasin Motors) just to ensure that I get the best for my car, I never get the best except for repeated calls, subsequent visits for corrective measures / complaints and taking unwanted pain and tensions on my head.

                      - I was told in the afternoon at around 3 pm that the car would be delivered to me latest by 5pm. And when I checked at 5pm I was told that it would reach me by 6.30pm and when again I checked out at 7pm after long wait, I was told that it would reach me by 8.30pm (Yet I have not received: time now 7.35pm
                      My concern on this is because of:
                      • I cannot thoroughly check at the time of taking delivery
                      • I cannot take a test drive and make out the things done of which I had complained
                      • I had plans for this Saturday evening which has gone awry

                      I am really serious about the way I always treated from a reputed brand (read Mahindra) authorised service centre. Leave aside all the jargons of customer satisfaction, it’s always a pain that I get by trusting so-called trusted Mahindra Partners.

                      I do not know whether I will get any response from you or not as the history itself has proved that, nothing happens on genuine customer concerns / feedback, and life goes on at Bhasin Motors: Definitely Bhasin Motors is not going to lose anything if an individual like me stops visiting them.

                      But this issue of genuine concern and customer satisfaction would always be questioned by such kind of pathetic response.

                      Let me accept that I have become hopeless and do not expect any radical changes from Bhasin Motors as it has never happened during my past relationship with them for almost a year, the day when I had purchased by car from them.

                      But yes, as a responsible citizen, I am sending a letter of complaints to national service head, national sales head with a copy to the chairman.

                      Finally after lots of persistent and follow-ups, the fog lamp kit was changed. Though it ate up my entire day standing at the Bhasin Motors, I was happy that long months of follow-ups brought some fruit (read response)...

                      But, you know what next ...??

                      Few days back, during a general check I found that again there was some water / dew inside the fog lamp.
                      Again I called up the Bhasin Motors, and was surprised with the response.

                      I was told that, the replacing fog lamp was from the same defective lot and I need to wait for another few weeks for getting the corrected fog lamps from Mahindra facility.

                      Is this how your customer services department run? Are we Mahindra Scorpio owners are supposed to take one day out every week do some thankless pastime sitting at the dealership / service centre??
                      It would have been better if they could have told me that the fog lamps which they are replacing are from the same defective lot and it’s better to wait for few more days than to be happy and kill some of our precious time??
                      Really ridiculous !!

                      Apart from this, I have few other complaints and concerns, viz (and these are either out of the same long pending list or created every time the car visits the service centre):

                      - Problem in the back door (fifth one) locking system. It’s not working and I have checked with Nippon whose guy after inspecting said that the switch which has the problem is supplied by Mahindra and it’s the service centre, which would get it corrected. When I contacted service centre they said that it’s the security system supplier problem..
                      So, the problem still hangs in between without any solution

                      - After months’ of follow-ups on the gear shift problem, finally I got a call from Bhasin Motors that they have got the gear set from Mahindra and I should send my Scorpio to get it fitted. After sending it and waiting for one full day., in late evening I was told that there was no need for changing as they have done some adjustment and it should not give me any further problem. It’s fine, if the problem is corrected but the bigger issue is the information gap... I should have told about this earlier itself and not at the time of taking delivery. I am also told that I need to drive for next 5k kilometres and if in case I face some problem then again they would call my call for changing the gear kit...
                      Now this has made me insecure in terms of the health of my engine and the overall performance and I drive with a sense of in-security not with the confidence which I used to have previously.. Is, there anyone who can understand this ordeal of a consumer, please...??

                      - After coming from the service station (after 5 th service), I don’t know what has been done to my gear lock lever, it’s not locking up. Perhaps, at the service station, someone has moulded it for whatever checking / correction and did not put it in the previous alignment.
                      This talks about the carelessness and the apathy the customer services have...
                      The entire dashboard and the gear cabinet had marks of grease which is not expected from the authorised service professional. They act as if local road side village mechanics who neither understand the meaning of customer services and hygiene or are demanded the same.

                      - After long follow-ups on phone, e-mails and personal meetings (with you Mr. Raghav too), I got the membership card of “Top Gear” but again as usual, how could it be satisfying the correct...
                      The name on the card is wrong / mis-spelt
                      The key chain received with that is rusted
                      ----- Should I again start doing follow-ups for name correction after months of follow-ups for the membership card??

                      - Even after repeated reminders / instructions (had gone to the extent of taking pain of writing it in bold letters on the service request) for not leaving the key inside the car, it was left inside thrice in one single day and every time some “engineering” was done replacing window beeds, pulling out the window glass (which has not lots of scratches on it) to get the car opened. The door has become hard now with many scratches on the window and the side door.

                      There might be thousands of people who do not mind couple of scratches or whether the door is hard or is working properly, but I am a bit different. I love my Scorpio and hate people playing with it ruthlessly at the service centre. Their job is to take proper care, attention to details and keep the consumer happy and satisfied (of which I never get any feel)

                      So far, I was of the view that, the car is pretty safe if I lock it, now my confidence in it’s security system / mechanism has completely shaken. I have already lost one brand new car and don’t want to take any chances again. Need some explanation on this from the customer services department of Mahindra (and not Bhasis Motors).

                      Every time I give my car to service centre, I get some new surprise in terms of some hanging wire somewhere, the lost fixtures like car perfume and idol on dashboard etc.

                      Is there any redressal to these teething problems or do I need to live with it, just because now I have bought the car..???

                      My other concerns and requests are:

                      1. Top Gear Membership
                      2. Bad service quality at Bhasin Motors. Since beginning (till now ie 4th service @ 20k kms) I have been serviced by Bhasin Motors itself, but petty problems like;
                      2.1 Not explaining the work done
                      2.2 Bad cleaning job
                      2.3 Despite reminders for past 15k kms, no heed on the wind shield cleaning which has got few small spots
                      2.4 Mal-functioning (or requires a better explanation) of Turbo functioning
                      2.5 Un-educated and not-concerned service staff
                      2.6 Everytime I complaint of something it has been trend that though that particular problem has been solved but something else related crops up.. This talks about the carelessness of the staff regarding quality service standards

                      Request you to look into this and resolve.

                      I have been doing follow-ups for past approx 2 months for getting this done, but everytime I approach "Bhasin Motors" I get the response that it's not there in stock and I will be called as soon as the stock from Mahindra reaches them.

                      What inside information I have got at Bhasin Motors is though they are getting the complete replacement kit from Mahindra, they are changing for the vehicles of their near and dear ones, not following the customer queue as per the car purchase date.

                      Request you to look into it and get this done for my Scorpio.

                          So, the problem still hangs in between without any solution

                          - After months’ of follow-ups on the gear shift problem, finally I got a call from Bhasin Motors that they have got the gear set from Mahindra and I should send my Scorpio to get it fitted. After sending it and waiting for one full day., in late evening I was told that there was no need for changing as they have done some adjustment and it should not give me any further problem. It’s fine, if the problem is corrected but the bigger issue is the information gap... I should have told about this earlier itself and not at the time of taking delivery. I am also told that I need to drive for next 5k kilometres and if in case I face some problem then again they would call my call for changing the gear kit...
                          Now this has made me insecure in terms of the health of my engine and the overall performance and I drive with a sense of in-security not with the confidence which I used to have previously.. Is, there anyone who can understand this ordeal of a consumer, please...??

                          - After coming from the service station (after 5 th service), I don’t know what has been done to my gear lock lever, it’s not locking up. Perhaps, at the service station, someone has moulded it for whatever checking / correction and did not put it in the previous alignment.
                          This talks about the carelessness and the apathy the customer services have...
                          The entire dashboard and the gear cabinet had marks of grease which is not expected from the authorised service professional. They act as if local road side village mechanics who neither understand the meaning of customer services and hygiene or are demanded the same.

                          - After long follow-ups on phone, e-mails and personal meetings (with you Mr. Raghav too), I got the membership card of “Top Gear” but again as usual, how could it be satisfying the correct...
                          The name on the card is wrong / mis-spelt
                          The key chain received with that is rusted
                          ----- Should I again start doing follow-ups for name correction after months of follow-ups for the membership card??

                          - Even after repeated reminders / instructions (had gone to the extent of taking pain of writing it in bold letters on the service request) for not leaving the key inside the car, it was left inside thrice in one single day and every time some “engineering” was done replacing window beeds, pulling out the window glass (which has not lots of scratches on it) to get the car opened. The door has become hard now with many scratches on the window and the side door.

                          There might be thousands of people who do not mind couple of scratches or whether the door is hard or is working properly, but I am a bit different. I love my Scorpio and hate people playing with it ruthlessly at the service centre. Their job is to take proper care, attention to details and keep the consumer happy and satisfied (of which I never get any feel)

                          So far, I was of the view that, the car is pretty safe if I lock it, now my confidence in it’s security system / mechanism has completely shaken. I have already lost one brand new car and don’t want to take any chances again. Need some explanation on this from the customer services department of Mahindra (and not Bhasis Motors).

                          Every time I give my car to service centre, I get some new surprise in terms of some hanging wire somewhere, the lost fixtures like car perfume and idol on dashboard etc.

                          Is there any redressal to these teething problems or do I need to live with it, just because now I have bought the car..???

                          2. Bad service quality at Bhasin Motors. Since beginning (till now ie 4th service @ 20k kms) I have been serviced by Bhasin Motors itself, but petty problems like;
                          2.1 Not explaining the work done
                          2.2 Bad cleaning job
                          2.3 Despite reminders for past 15k kms, no heed on the wind shield cleaning which has got few small spots
                          2.4 Mal-functioning (or requires a better explanation) of Turbo functioning
                          2.5 Un-educated and not-concerned service staff
                          2.6 Everytime I complaint of something it has been trend that though that particular problem has been solved but something else related crops up.. This talks about the carelessness of the staff regarding quality service standards

                          Request you to look into this and resolve.

                            I have purchased Scarpio in 2005 Jan from Allahabad (up) in 2006 i had complaint about the alignment problem to Mahendra Vehical Division Office at Lucknow but no action has been taken by officers only they have sugested for re-alignment, after several re-alignments the problem is still their and the tyre has badly damaged.at that time scarpiohas done only 20000KM.

                            I have a DSC security system. it has not been working for the past one week.
                            when i tired contacting your servce center, to my suprise all the contact numbers given to me have been changed. i managed to get the service center number only to know that all technicians have gone on field trips and the service center boss at ameerpet, hyderbad is on tour. i contacted both Mr Reddy and Shakir, the heads of ameerpet center, but nothing has been done to restore my system.

                            my name is parvinder singh.i bought a Scorpio before 4 years from modern motors G.T. road Ldh, up to 2 years no problem was there while i was servicing with the same.then i started servicing from modern motors ferozepur road ldh, (started my problems), whenever i given it for service or repair they did but every time they added some extra work to increase their bill.but now this time it is too much.i given my car before about 20 days for repair & ac service(they asked me for delivery with in a week, after 12 days they said your vehicle is ready n your bill is about 8500 & when i went over there (my home is about 5 kms from there) i paid my bill and after waiting 4 hrs over there when i came out i found 4th gear was not working, i again went over there & asked about the same, they told me to come on next day.next day they given me call and said for more repair over there for rs.3000, i said that this is not my fault but they didn't agreed, then i said ok make it.next day on there calling i went over there they again asked me to come after one hour, i again went after 1 hr, then they given me a bill for rs.4580, me again shouted but wasted, i paid and as soon as came out i found my ac for which i paid about 2700 is not working, my glass window is not working.i again complaint for this on phone modern motors ferozepur road said no need to come over here we will send our man to repair it to your home, now this is 5th day after receiving my unimpaired vehicle & till now i have got no any response.

                            Mahindra Scorpio — Mahindra and mahindra should check with their customers whether they are getting honest and full satisfaction after sales service by their dealer.

                            G3 motors, worst scorpio service centre.

                            1. Car given for service but after service when it was handed over to me, it does not look like a serviced car from any angle. More dirty than I handed over to them.

                            2.> Company charged Rs. 575 for a sttering part which was creating noise when full turn. Within a months noise starts again. Which means company did not changed parts and charged OR replaced a faulty or substandard part. Or company is not able to dignose right Fault.

                            3.> When asked for a Hose pipe changed, they disturb other hose pipe fitting while fixing and other starts licking. A very poor quality control over work.

                            4.> I received call for satiisfaction expperiance by company 2 times and I compalained these things and girl said she will ask senior to call me but never received any call. That indicates that nobody is responsible.

                            5.> When I visited 2nd time for a problem, they said they will charge Rs, 250 for that job and extra for spares. but later on charged Rs. 375/- and excuses that it was a mistake by them.

                            6.> Mahindra and mahindra should check with their customers whether they are getting honest and full satisfactory after sales service by their dealer.

                            I like scorpio but This situation drove me to think of other brand for next change.

                            I have purchased a Scorpio for my private use from Sardar Motors , Nausarh Chauck ,Gorakhpur in the month of september 2009 . At that time a scheme was launched by mahindra co. in dainik jagaran news paper that due to Navaratri they are offering a multimedia mobile set with any of the vehicle purchased from their company . but after 5 monthes i have not received the mobile set . the manager at the agency told me that the scheme has been withdrawn by the company.                             Scorpio DX — Poor Service

                            1. I have bought Scorpio DX in 2003 Dec.
                            2. The after sales service provided to me By the local service station i.e "Sri Durga Automobiles" was pathetic.
                            3. I felt being cheated at all the time my vehicle was under service.
                            4. When i checked the details of task performed and compared it to the entries on the jobcard, i was shocked to see that half of the work mentioned in the jobcard were not carried out.
                            5. To my Horror they were blaming on each other.

                            there was a person named Vivek Vajpayee,at cleaning centre,a.automovers,lucknow very arrogant and ill-mannered.
                            i waited for 3(three) long hours after the estimated time, without any prior information. i missed very important meeting due to his ir-responsibilty.
                            even the scorpio was not properly washed and rinsed and everybody left, even the workers, i was delivered the car after 7 pm.
                            i am very unsatisfied and angry over his behavior and insincerity.

                            This is to inform you that I Lakshmi Roy bought a Scorpio sle car(Reg no-WB 42N 5454) on 31st September 2009. My car faced an accident on 10th January 2010. The car was sent to your workshop the very next day for repair purpose. But since then I am being forced to face various problems due to your company. Its been more than seven and half months I am waiting for my car to get delivered. Every time I go to your shop for enquiry I am told that the car would be delivered soon which obviously does not happen. I want to know clearly from you when am I going to get my car back? I am paying heavy installments every month for the car without even using it. I am being harassed all over by your employees every time I go there now. Will you please explain why this is happening. Am I not paying you for the car? If yes, then where is the service your people had promised before buying the car? I really feel it was a mistake on my part to buy the car from your company.                             See this is what I suffer by owning a scorpio and expecting for a reasonable level of service standards.
                            I have not received my car as yet without any intimation from Bhasin Motors or Mahindra.

                            I also called up and texted (sms’ed) Mr, / Col. G. K. Singh (Works Manager at Bhasin Motors) at his mobile number @ [protected] but with no response.

                            I am really happy to own a performing car like Scorpio but real sad to see the pathetic response from the company and the dealership both on the service standards.

                            I am clueless on what to do now and since I have bought this car, anyhow I have to drive it for few years as I cannot afford to change car so soon within a year of its (so-called proud) purchase.

                            You can very well see that how it has taken my sleep away that I am bound to write mail at this odd hours at 2358 hours (mid-night).

                            I am really clueless.

                            I have no options but to use a commercial cab / taxi service to perform my daily chores. I will definitely look forward to the bill reimbursement.

                            It has become a routine to me now.
                            Today I had given my scorpio for servicing and as usual (trademarked service standards) the below-mentioned pain areas:

                            - Despite giving clear cut instructions that the key should not be left in the car, it was left thrice and everytime the window beeding was taken out to open the door and take the key out. I am really very finicky about this (Sorry, if you are not and I beg to and happily would choose to differ) and if you can read this entire chain of communication in this very mail, you will understand this.

                            - During last servicing I had my wheel balancing and alignment done, on which I have complaints. Why in one single instance everything is done (though communicated always that it has been done perfectly : Blatant Lie)

                            - It has been a routine that whenever I give my car for servicing (always at authorised service station ie Bhasin Motors) just to ensure that I get the best for my car, I never get the best except for repeated calls, subsequent visits for corrective measures / complaints and taking unwanted pain and tensions on my head.

                            - I was told in the afternoon at around 3 pm that the car would be delivered to me latest by 5pm. And when I checked at 5pm I was told that it would reach me by 6.30pm and when again I checked out at 7pm after long wait, I was told that it would reach me by 8.30pm (Yet I have not received: time now 7.35pm
                            My concern on this is because of:
                            • I cannot thoroughly check at the time of taking delivery
                            • I cannot take a test drive and make out the things done of which I had complained
                            • I had plans for this Saturday evening which has gone awry

                            I am really serious about the way I always treated from a reputed brand (read Mahindra) authorised service centre. Leave aside all the jargons of customer satisfaction, it’s always a pain that I get by trusting so-called trusted Mahindra Partners.

                            I do not know whether I will get any response from you or not as the history itself has proved that, nothing happens on genuine customer concerns / feedback, and life goes on at Bhasin Motors: Definitely Bhasin Motors is not going to lose anything if an individual like me stops visiting them.

                            But this issue of genuine concern and customer satisfaction would always be questioned by such kind of pathetic response.

                            Let me accept that I have become hopeless and do not expect any radical changes from Bhasin Motors as it has never happened during my past relationship with them for almost a year, the day when I had purchased by car from them.

                            But yes, as a responsible citizen, I am sending a letter of complaints to national service head, national sales head with a copy to the chairman.

                            Finally after lots of persistent and follow-ups, the fog lamp kit was changed. Though it ate up my entire day standing at the Bhasin Motors, I was happy that long months of follow-ups brought some fruit (read response)...

                            But, you know what next ...??

                            Few days back, during a general check I found that again there was some water / dew inside the fog lamp.
                            Again I called up the Bhasin Motors, and was surprised with the response.

                            I was told that, the replacing fog lamp was from the same defective lot and I need to wait for another few weeks for getting the corrected fog lamps from Mahindra facility.

                            Is this how your customer services department run? Are we Mahindra Scorpio owners are supposed to take one day out every week do some thankless pastime sitting at the dealership / service centre??
                            It would have been better if they could have told me that the fog lamps which they are replacing are from the same defective lot and it’s better to wait for few more days than to be happy and kill some of our precious time??
                            Really ridiculous !!

                            Apart from this, I have few other complaints and concerns, viz (and these are either out of the same long pending list or created every time the car visits the service centre):

                            - Problem in the back door (fifth one) locking system. It’s not working and I have checked with Nippon whose guy after inspecting said that the switch which has the problem is supplied by Mahindra and it’s the service centre, which would get it corrected. When I contacted service centre they said that it’s the security system supplier problem..
                            So, the problem still hangs in between without any solution

                            - After months’ of follow-ups on the gear shift problem, finally I got a call from Bhasin Motors that they have got the gear set from Mahindra and I should send my Scorpio to get it fitted. After sending it and waiting for one full day., in late evening I was told that there was no need for changing as they have done some adjustment and it should not give me any further problem. It’s fine, if the problem is corrected but the bigger issue is the information gap... I should have told about this earlier itself and not at the time of taking delivery. I am also told that I need to drive for next 5k kilometres and if in case I face some problem then again they would call my call for changing the gear kit...
                            Now this has made me insecure in terms of the health of my engine and the overall performance and I drive with a sense of in-security not with the confidence which I used to have previously.. Is, there anyone who can understand this ordeal of a consumer, please...??

                            - After coming from the service station (after 5 th service), I don’t know what has been done to my gear lock lever, it’s not locking up. Perhaps, at the service station, someone has moulded it for whatever checking / correction and did not put it in the previous alignment.
                            This talks about the carelessness and the apathy the customer services have...
                            The entire dashboard and the gear cabinet had marks of grease which is not expected from the authorised service professional. They act as if local road side village mechanics who neither understand the meaning of customer services and hygiene or are demanded the same.

                            - After long follow-ups on phone, e-mails and personal meetings (with you Mr. Raghav too), I got the membership card of “Top Gear” but again as usual, how could it be satisfying the correct...
                            The name on the card is wrong / mis-spelt
                            The key chain received with that is rusted
                            ----- Should I again start doing follow-ups for name correction after months of follow-ups for the membership card??

                            - Even after repeated reminders / instructions (had gone to the extent of taking pain of writing it in bold letters on the service request) for not leaving the key inside the car, it was left inside thrice in one single day and every time some “engineering” was done replacing window beeds, pulling out the window glass (which has not lots of scratches on it) to get the car opened. The door has become hard now with many scratches on the window and the side door.

                            There might be thousands of people who do not mind couple of scratches or whether the door is hard or is working properly, but I am a bit different. I love my Scorpio and hate people playing with it ruthlessly at the service centre. Their job is to take proper care, attention to details and keep the consumer happy and satisfied (of which I never get any feel)

                            So far, I was of the view that, the car is pretty safe if I lock it, now my confidence in it’s security system / mechanism has completely shaken. I have already lost one brand new car and don’t want to take any chances again. Need some explanation on this from the customer services department of Mahindra (and not Bhasis Motors).

                            Every time I give my car to service centre, I get some new surprise in terms of some hanging wire somewhere, the lost fixtures like car perfume and idol on dashboard etc.

                            Is there any redressal to these teething problems or do I need to live with it, just because now I have bought the car..???

                            I will be waiting for your revert on fog lamps kit change, please try doing so at the earliest.

                            My other concerns and requests are:

                            1. Top Gear Membership
                            2. Bad service quality at Bhasin Motors. Since beginning (till now ie 4th service @ 20k kms) I have been serviced by Bhasin Motors itself, but petty problems like;
                            2.1 Not explaining the work done
                            2.2 Bad cleaning job
                            2.3 Despite reminders for past 15k kms, no heed on the wind shield cleaning which has got few small spots
                            2.4 Mal-functioning (or requires a better explanation) of Turbo functioning
                            2.5 Un-educated and not-concerned service staff
                            2.6 Everytime I complaint of something it has been trend that though that particular problem has been solved but something else related crops up.. This talks about the carelessness of the staff regarding quality service standards

                            Request you to look into this and resolve.

                            Mahindra Scorpio — Pathetic Service

                            This is with reference to accidental repair of my Scorpio @ Sterling Motors Gurgaon, I would hereby like to inform you that in spite of spending huge amount of Rs. 2,20,000/-, my car is performing like a 10 - 15 year old vehicle. I am really pissed off because of the quality of the service.

                            The Vehicle was repaired under the supervision of a guy Prashant who I believe is a 100% incapable of handling even a small Job. In-spite of giving him 3 good chances he could not give me a quality service.

                            The Problems which are still there from day one of getting my vehicle after the repair.

                            1. Alignment issue - Vehicle turning right while applying breaks

                            2. Heavy vibration over & above speed of 70 km/hr.

                            3. Uncomfortable Ride

                            4. Noise of some part hitting the bottom of ground during heavy traffic congestion.

                            5. Rear Door Noise @ speed of 30 -40 km/hr. It seems there is a major issue in rear suspension.

                            6. Heavy Dust on Front Blower.

                            7. Heavy Noise of Blower on speed of 2,3,4


                            Pl. help in getting this thing resolved immediately.

                            Dear Sir, I am also fed up of owning a Scorpio. The service centers from the dealers are trying to make as much money and give inflated estimates. I faced this with Koncept in Noida. They gave an estimate for Rs. 27, 000 and after I refused, they came down and offered to do it for Rs. 15, 000. I still refused and later found that the problem is very minor and got it fixed at a local repair shop for Rs. 1500 including labour.

                            I hope the Mahindra management realizes what a fraud chain of dealerships they have.

                            I m trying to get in touch with your customer care number[protected] for last 36 hrs but your toll free number is out of order and therefore I don't know where to call or to contact any alternate source. It feels really helpless.

                            This is to inform you that my scorpio is stranded since June 1st 2013, due to some major technical fault in its braking system (ABS) as informed to me by your south delhi dealer Koncept motor's Okhla workshop. I must reiterate here that the vehicle is only two and half years old - Scorpio MHawk 2010 oct and have done 36, 000 kms only.
                            It's just went for the regular service and check up as per the scheduled service chart.I am shocked to know that my vehicles ABS is not working as I am told and informed by many that its one of those parts which rarely get faulty or replaced at all.

                            Being a loyal customer of your's - since 2002 oct, when I bought my first Scorpio, this is the least I expected from a organization of repute as yours. THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTING AND NEXT SERVICE WE DONE AT NAMAKKAL 2 SERVICE 50000 AND 60000 BOTH THE SERVICE THEY HAVE CHANGED SEVERAL PARTS AND SAID NOW EVERYTHING IS OK.

                              I have purchased a car from Mahindra first choice car dealer outlet in jaipur on 17th October 2010, franchisee name is Car Estate, till date I have not received my loan paper from their side, I have given them my car twice for service the fuel meter as it is not working, they have repaired it on temporary basis......still it is not working properly....they are saying that we are doing 108 test of vehicle before delivering the vehicle with 1 year warranty....whenever I tried their executive number, he is making excuses for this. They told me we are giving one free service within warranty period, now they are telling me that we giving discount in first service of Rs. 250/-

                                I bought this car in the month of jan -12 where in i was promissed that it will not have any
                                issue within the first year if any you can come to us.

                                Since the time i bought this car i had some issues very first a/c in the car was not working
                                which was bought to one of your representatives notice names ( MR HULE). However he said that
                                it will be taken care in first servicing which was a complete lie


                                I had to spend around 3000 for the maintainance of car a/c servicing on 19/02/2012.

                                After that i went for my 1st free servicing in which we noticed that my car had no proper oil
                                and other things that were missing i had to pay another 5000 rs for my 1st free servicing on
                                29/03/2012 ( WHAT KIND OF A FREE SERVICING WAS THAT )

                                and then in the month of june i did my free servicing for which i paid 1100 rs on[protected]

                                Again in the month of july i paid 5412 rs cuz power steering pipe had got bad this was covered
                                under your gurantee however i got no help i paid 5412 rs on[protected]

                                All the receipts are attatched. and now i have a big problem and i need you to resolve this i
                                noticed that water gets in my car at front and at the back so i asked you guys to help me i
                                was sent to AUTO PLANET Again and he tried something which had no resolution, However i paid
                                400rs and AUTO LANET said that the ISSUE IS RESOLVED.

                                HOwever i noticed that the problem continued water was getting in my car so i came to first
                                choice again and they asked me to go to new grage that will resolve this problem i was under
                                an impression that it will be taken care by you guys as this was spomething not cleared

                                YOU GUYS LIED ME ALWAYS
                                now the repair person wants 9500 rs for the work he has done.

                                Please get this resolved on or before 13- sep -2012

                                  I GOT MY MAHINDRA SCORPIO (DL-1CM- 2024)SERVICED FROM SRI DURGA AUTOMOBILES ON 13/10/10. THEY HAVE CHARGED ME 9000 Rs.ON SERVICE, FOR WASHING THEY DID NOT EVEN OPENED MY BONNET, FROM INSIDE THEY HAVE NOT DONE ANY DRY AIR CLEANING, IT IS IN THE SAME CONDITION AS I HAVE GIVEN THEM BEFORE SERVICE, UNDERNEATH THEY DID NOT WASH .

                                    Below issues i faced after purchasing the car from Mahindra First Choice Bavdhan, Pune.


                                    1) RC-TC book/Car papers not received - Its now 5th month, im yet to receive the papers for the car on my name. Many follow-ups done personally & on phone but still no luck.

                                    2) AC functionality - I had made to notice the AC functionality of the car from the beginning but there is no permanent solution provided yet.

                                    3) Insurance papers- My insurance papers i received in dec-10. Whereas the insurance came into existence in Sep,10.

                                    4) Insurance cover for the damage - Due to non availability of the papers, i am not able to claim insurance yet.

                                    5) Insurance assistance with the old insurance papers provided- I had no assistance received on insurance covered by the old insurance paper (on old owner's name). As the papers were not received, i could have claimed on the old owner's name. But there is no assistance from MFC.

                                    6) Car Stephanie been used while given for servicing - My car Stephanie was used and damaged the tube/tyre while i had given the car for servicing at your branch. This was came into notice when my car got punctured after servicing done. The stephanie (tyre & tube) was new brand and was never used by me as it was recently purchased before servicing.

                                    7) After purchase of the car, the assistance and care for the customer was observed with less importance.

                                    8) Car loan repayment schedule papers & receipt of the payment- After finalizing the documents of loan, i had to follow up many times and personally collect the receipts & repayment schedule papers. No attention to the customer service & basic responsibilities.

                                    9) Warranty claim - When I claimed for warranty for the issues of the wheel bearings, the technical persons straight away refused. but after showing the warranty documents, they agreed to. This shows the technical team themself do not have knowledge of the warranty parts & the coverage.

                                      I chetanya Haksar has a Brought a Car Skoda Ocatvia 2004 Model from Mahendra First Choice dealer JKM Moters in Nov 2010 but after using it for 1 month Iam facing a problem with its gear,So advice thaem about this they never respond to it, So than I went to a workshop so they advise that it needs to be replaced as iot parts have been fixed temperaly and now it is not in the shape to be reapir but to be replace which has a cost of about Rs 60,000.They sold me the vhecile for 4.50,000 n I have made them a pymt of 100000 n rest 3.04000 has been financed by HDFC Bank.So now I need to make them the rest of the pymt of 50,000 for which they r harrising me. So I advise them insted of paying them I will fix the car but they r not listening to me so pls help me.

                                      Just want to update the problem has been rectified as we came to an agreement for the replacement of the vehicle, So after making a another pymt of 2.50lakhs they gave a SKODA LAURA 2010 Model which is running good.

                                      So I appreciate the time and effort they have put in to rectify the problem.

                                      So now there are no issues with Mahindra First Choice.

                                      I have bought a Car from Mahindra First choice ( J.K moto corp Lajpat nagar). I was told that I will get the Registration Certificate in 45 days. I have been contacting them on the numbers Provided but nobody picking my Call. I went to the Outlet but its Closed. I have checked with the other shops and got to know that there is a fraud happened with the Franchisee.

                                      I NEED MY REGISTRATION CERTICATE ASAP !

It is Highly disappointing that you have posted wrong facts with maligning intentions about company on our website without even operating with us for even a single day, you have not even provide required infrastructure inspite of reminder and repeated meeting with you. We can also take legal action against you for defamation and damages towards our reputation. I have explained you earlier also we have strong reasons for taking processing fee and this was accepted by you.
