Alarming Cheating!

This is regarding Misquote of postpaid sim charges from Priyanka Thakur.
2 months back i happened to travel to Atlanta from Delhi and i asked the Sales Executive in Delhi Matrix Office to come and meet me.I am an employee of NIIT Tecnologies ltd Delhi and i am on official visit to Atlanta.
I met Priyanka Thakur in my officewho works in Matrix Delhi.She quoted me a plan for US that was a 30$ plan.According to her 30 $ was rental amount and calling charges were 0.25/min(10rs/min)cents per call incoming and outgoing international and local.I had also told her that i would dicontinue services in case plan doesnot suit my expenditure.So after one month after several reminders to priyanka she gave me a bill of 2394 RS. which was deducted from my credit card without informing me.
She sent me a bill for this amount however this was not the actual bill.After 2 months they deducted 50000 rs from credit card again without informing me.After sevral inquiry i was told that my bill had exceeded 1Lakh rs.When i looked into the bill i came to know that Matrix charges 0.89cents/min(40 Rs /Min)for international call.which is more than thrice of what i was told.My mistake was that i believed in the word of mouth of Priyanka Thakur.
If i would have known the actual amount of calling charges i would not have taken this card at any cost because i have various options that give me international calling charges just 6-7Rs/min.
I want to know what action does company take if there employees are giving fraud quotes to the customers.
I have been under huge mental disturbance due to this.
Please let me know what should i do to solve my problem.

    I used the matrix data card in the US. The only reason I used them was
    A) They were located in the VFS office for the British Visa section. Hence It was assumed that they are above board.
    B) Since they are selling from India, I presumed that they would be cheaper.
    How wrong I was.
    A) They gave me a phone which did not work. It was very expensive buying a phone for the Sim card because I understand that they do not use Sim cards there.
    I managed to borrow one from a friend
    Beware using for SMS. Nobody keeps a tag of SMS that you recive. You will get a bill for an amazing number of text messages they say you received or send. And they charge Rs 16 each time even if Matrix sends them.
    Internet Usage
    I got a bill for over rs. 30000 for 32 minutes usage. That comes to RS. 1000.00 Per minute, Later after several months they generously refunded some money. The BILL STILL CAME TO RS. 300 PER MINUTE.
    The sales person will give a lot of rubbish talk and completely mislead you and dupe into buying their product.
    THEY TAKE A CREDIT CARD COPY AND SAY THAT THEY WILL BLOCK RS. 10000.00. AS A MATTER OF FACT THAT IS RUBBISH.
    THEY ACTUALLY DEBIT WHATEVER THEY WANT .

      Hello Sir/Ma'am,

      I was using the connection of Hutch via Matrix cellular services earlier. The contact person was Mr Manoj Bansal from Matrix cellualr who gave this connection to me. I piad all my bills on time while using the connection. Once I was unable to pay the bill at bill payment center and called Mr Manoj for collecting checque from me. He told me that their company ofer this service and he will be collecting the cheque to clear my outstanding amount. Manoj came to my office and I gave him the cheque. On the same day my connection was stopped from backend. I tried calling the Matrix customer care but was unable to reach them. I called up Manoj and requested him to help me.

      Insetad of helping me, he asked me to cancel the connections as customer service for Matrix is very poor. I was shocked to hear this from their own employee and decided to disconnect my numbers. I called up customer care for matrix to take the request and they denied. Then I requested Manoj to take the request and he asked me to send an email to [protected]@matrix.in, which I did.

      I never recieved a reply from them except once where they told me that my late charges has been reversed. Since I paid the bill and same day I put the request for the cancellation of my number, but Matrix people were not disconnecting my numbers. I tried calling Hutch but they said that they can not do anything as it has to do with Matrix Cellular services. I kept on sending emails to MAtrix but no one replied.

      Since I heard nothing from Matrix, hence I moved ahead and purchased new connections of Hutch. After almost an year I recieved a leagl notice from Matrix that I have to pay the bill of Rs 752.64.

      I tried calling the contact person and told him about the scenario, but he said that he will not do anything and I will have to pay the bill. When I told him about Manoj Bansal, he told me that he has left and he can not help me. I then told him that I paid the advance rent of Rs 444 on my cconnection, so reverse that and send me the final bill which I can pay, but I never recieved the bill. I am trying to call these guys and also sending email at the lawyers email address who sent the legal notice but no one is getting back to me.

      I request you to please help me out in this as I am extremely disappointed with Matix Cellualr services.

      Having perused the facts, I am of the view that you may not be so much worry about their legal notice (presuming that you had not issued cheque in advance to that effect). Secondly, be strategic and think if you wish to take this matter forward. Should you feel so, you seek advice from a lawyer and slap them a notice for their malpractice, deficiency in services and unfair trade practices. It appears from the facts that you have good case on merits.
      I totally agree with the views of many people here matrix believes in extracting money from customers by false methods, they have cheated me too, I requested for two connection of International cellular phones from Matrix on 30th April 2007.
      I was given two handsets, two Chargers and two Sims numbers for my use in New york.

      On 1st of May I left India and came back on 14th May 2007 And on 15th may 2007, I wrote to matrix surrendering the connection and asked them to collect the phone, On 16th may at 2.45 PM their person Mr S.K . Sirohi collected the phone from my office (( receipt for the same is already given to matrix ).

      Then in the month of May I received the bills o[censored]sage from Matrix .


      The same was debited from my Credit card account on 28TH MAY 2007.


      Then again I received two more bills and same too was debited from my credit card.

      In both the bills the usage was for the same period except for the bill / phone number [protected] in which the calls were made after the phone was collected from me, where some calls were made after the sim card was surrendered, that too from my International number to some numbers in India .

      From call details it was very clear that the calls worth 9000 rupees were made after I surrendered the phone as evident from the reciept with me .
      After writing since last more than one year nothing is done from matrix side, I am sure that this is planned cheating and that is why are not acting.
      Matrix Cellular Services P Ltd is a rip-off. They promise 60 to 90% discount in international usage but end up fleecing you and not applying correct tariff plans. Worst is that they forcibly take your credit card details and end up taking forcible payments without providing the service. They also dupe you in many other ways. We need to gather and make 1 single complaint with all our issues.

        This refers to Consumer Agreement Form No. 572032 dated 31.05.2008 with Matrix Cellular International Services Pvt. Ltd.(www.matrix.in), Mahalaxmi, Mumbai Office.
        I posted my request with Matrix SIM card services No.+[protected] on 30th May 2008 for Netherlands SIM Card. But instead i have been issued U.K.(England) SIM card No.[protected] with number [protected].
        I will be visiting Netherlands during 06th to 13th June.
        When I once again contacted above number for wrong issuance, I have been told its done due to no-stock of Netherlands SIM cards. But its nothing do with me. Its there problem. They have to issue me correct SIM for which I will be paying to them. Correct?
        Please guide me in getting replacement of the SIM Card.
        I am also writing to them on [protected]@matrix.in, but dont think it will work out anything.

        Hi, I am Rajeev and I am genuinely sick of Matrix. Last week I went to Australia for 4 days on a business trip, and my bill was extremely inflated. I think that the money they spend on advertising is made by fleecing innocent customers like us. They are a bunch of robbers. I have had a relatively better experience with Clay Telecom - http://clay.co.in/landingpage.aspx . At least their bill was fine, and the network is great. I don’t know if they are the best, but they were better than Matrix. If anyone has had a similar experience, then do contact me at wanderlust.[protected]@gmail.com

          I am an international student from Cochin, Kerala presently studying at UK, University of Westminster. I would like to inform you that in the pretext of helping international student a mobile network established in India and having branches across the country, operating under the shadow of British Council is looting and robbing students under living daylight.

          They propagate their advertisement through ‘British Council’ giving false authentication to innocents’ students that their establishment is trustworthy. I got introduced to them when I attended the pre-departure briefing conducted by the British Council on August 2007, Cochin.

          Unfortunately before leaving the country, I subscribed to a Matrix Network ‘Johar Group’ a franchisee of Matrix Cellular International Service Pvt. Ltd. They mislead me in subscribing under the false illusion that I have to pay only 2.99 Sterling per month for rental. All the call chargers are at nominal subsidized rate suitable for students. The sim they have given me was a used by somebody else. When inquired that I would like to have a new sim rather than the one that is used, they simply told me that I don’t have a choice. Due to time crunch and since I thought they were authorized by British Council I didn’t have the slightest suspicious about their atrocity.

          After a break of 2 month they came up with a massive charges of Rs. 64, 947.02 /- and was mentally and psychological abusing me to pay the money immediately. I was crucified for the calls which I haven’t made from my part. During the two month period there was no way to check the charges and I was literally kept in darkness. Whenever I used to log in their website, viewing the current billing from last September, 2007 till today it is being hidden with lame excuses like ‘coming soon’.

          What they are saying is that I have made calls to premium numbers, but I haven’t made any call in that number and in that name they have escalated the charges. My parents were forced to pay the money under threat.

          Why am telling this is that in future no prospective student should be cheated as I was. They are a bunch of looters, high tech criminals and a bad influence to the entire student community.

          If possible inform the public that there is no need to subscribe to the mobile service, as the charges levied in UK are much cheaper, economical and reliable. You can check the bill anytime through the net, if something is going suspicious you will be warned about this. After this unfortunate event, i am using vodafone and the service is reliable and trust worthy to the highest degree. So far there has never been an incident like this.

          There address at Cochin office is – Johar Group, 3rd Floor, Noor Trade Center, Market Road, Ernakulam – Cochin – 682 011. ( A franchisee of Matrix Celluar International Service PVT Ltd).

          I am presently doing my MSC - Advance Information Technologies Using Orace at - University of Westminster, 115 Cavendish Street UK.

          took a connection for my trip to USA on my Gf’s credit card. It was a $39.99 plus tax. Please bear ini mind that I was in USA before and I had an At& T connection. Matrix has tieups with Cingular
          which is AT & T. They first said that Cingular and Sprint charges up front $500 for connection in USA.

          So thinking that these are honest guys I went ahead with the connection. GPRS was supposed to be deactivated. Further they mentioned that they GPRS rates were in tandem with Cingular, in case I do not activate it. The Cingular rate is $1/ day or for $15 unlimited.

          Now upon opening that site MATRIX charged me RS. 29, 000. (almost $700), of shich about 23000 was for GPRS, which was supposed to be de activated and I never used it. Matrix has charged 700 US for visiting the website, whereas the AT&T rates were $1/day.

          Also the claim of MATRIX that its a part of AT&T (Cingular then) was wrong. Upon going to USA, I went to the AT&T website. At&T said, " you have no inline support for this kind of number" .

          Now I have switched to Sprint, and counter to what Matrix has said I did nit have to pay anything. The problem is that MATRIX has charged the entire 29k from my gf’ scredit card. I really dont know what to do. MR. JAIPRAKASH of MATRIX is a thief and he is using people’s credit cards for money laundry. Jaiprakash by the way is the inernational sales manaer of Matrix Calcutta. He is a crook. He can be reached at [protected].

          Can anyone tell me if any legal actions can be taken against these crooks?

          WRONG TARIFF.

          Matrix is supposed to be the best alligator .In terms of cheating the customers .few days back i had traveled to srilanka and i was mentioned about a different were call back to india would be 10 Rs/min but it was charged 25 Rs/min and after my billing the charges were of different tariffs and 150%higher . The current charged billing rates tarrif was not duly signed by me it is sighed by them .It is better to take a UNICONNECT connection to abroad than MATRIX ..As we find here UNICONNECT is very much clean chit and transparent and don cheat..And i have not received the itemized bill from matrix soft copy nor hard copy. When we try to intertact with the executives they are not bothered to help us out with it ..

          On May 25 I left for US from Hyderabad airport where I picked up a SIM card from Matrix.
          They said initially I would be charged $20/- and they will give me a confirmation call or mail
          other wise they will deactivate the phone if I don't confirm.
          They said I would be charged only for international calls

          When I received the bill it's a whopping ₹ 29000/- they charged me for some data plan I did not ask for.
          When I tried to contact from US no one responded.

          All international travellers please do not use MATRIX PHONE OR SIM CARD.
          They are here to cheat you with dubious plans,
          Request do not fall into their trap..

            This is the advise to all the Students/Persons, who plan to go to abroad (USA etc) and want to take mobile phone connection in India through MATRIX CELLULAR SERVICES (INTERNATIONAL) LTD for the use of this mobile phone connection at USA or other countries.

            We had taken the mobile connection through this company four months ago and the marketing executive has not given any correct information about their charges, billing procedure and payment procedures. They started charging directly from the credit card without any prior information or sending the buill to us. And their charges were unimaginably high.

            Their charges are extremely high and we got cheaper alternative in USA, so we wanted to discontinue this cell phone number.

            Even after disconnection, they have never sent confirmation that this number is discontinued, but still they kept charging the monthly charges from the credit card directly without any informaiton to us.

            And funny thing is that neither their sales personnel nor customer support personnel could explain us the procedure for the disconnection and disconnection charges. Even after disconnection, they have been still charging and they never sent any confirmation of disconnection of this cell phone number.

            Every new customer support person informs new procedures for the disconnection for the disconnection charges and other refunds.

            It is too horrible for us to get rid from this matrix company. They made us real fools. We had to call so many times for the status of disconnection and still we are not aware the complete produce and they are quite active in charging directly from our credit card directly without our intervention.

            We have already sweat out hell lot of money for this and they are not bothered to send any message to us for confirmation of this disconnection sofar.

            We advise the new customers to MATRIX to be careful before taking the connection. and their charges are too high and we can not get out of their cluthes, once you are IN.

            i got an D mat account from standard charted STCI limited round 2 months back. they promised to give me the detais with in 15 days till date i havnt recieved any pin no. or account id.

              I had taken a travel SIM card for Italy from this co. They had provided me a tariff plan for the same. But, after returning, i got a bill from them with charges much higher than those mentioned in the tariff plan. The number of days rental is also wrong. And the Euro rate charged is also not as per the Tariff Plan & call charges are also much higher than the Tariff plan.
              And i have lodged a complaint with them almost a month ago & the issue has not yet been resolved.
              Besides that, they also charged the amount to my credit card, without even sending me a copy of the bill & getting my confirmation. So, now, they have my money & thats why they are not bothered about resolving the issue & making me a refund.
              Pls help for the same.

              I have sent a SMS to you for activating GPRS/MMS facilities in
              my mobile phone but till date it is not activated.My mobile no [protected].

              Cell phone Services — Cheating Tariff

              I regularly recharge my mobile with Rs.888 for 6 months duration. Then after i top up the amount which i wanna use. As per this my call charges was 10 paise for Add on - 3 Numbers.
              And my local call charges are 75 paise and sms are 5 paise.
              Suddenly i saw my validity ends, and i recharged for 99rs, 10rs talk time and 1 month validity. Later on i come to know that my entire call tariff is getting changed. Add-on now is 30 paise/min and local call 1 Re., and sms 25 paise per min. Then i spoken to Customer care regarding this, they told i[censored] activates this to 1-year validity or 6 month, i will get back to the old service. Then i come to know that vodafone launch 1-year validity on Recharge on 1120. Then i recharged for that, but all my call rates remain same. I couldn't get back to my old service.

              Then i wasted almost half a day in enquiring all these details, and finally when i contacted it nodal center, they told me after a month only my plan will get changed. Even they regret to cancel the 99, which I recharged even though nothing I am, get rid off from that.

              I recharge for Rs.99 on 13th jan. Then again i recharge the plan on 17th jan. The entire amount i spend only to get rid off from this tariff. But i couldn't. They told i will get back to my old plan once this 99 validity gets end.

              If their logic is correct then my validity period of one year also carry forward to another month. But my validity ends on 16 th Jan.

              Show me where is the logic here. My plan remains active but my validity doesn't.

              If the Plan is not changing then why i have to top up now even though i have sufficient validity period.

              Someone please help me in this regard as early as possible...

              Matrix Cellular Services Pvt Ltd. — wrong billing and misguided information

              I had taken a phone to usa for a period of one month i.e 24-04-08 to 24-05-08.they had asked me for a pre-authorisation from my credit card for RS 10, 000 to validate whether the card is functional or not.they assured me the amount will get released automatically after 21 days.but they debited the amount on 5-05-08 itself from my card, which amounts to fraud.i had taken the payment by cheque option which they very conveniently have ticked credit card option.they are still charging rental from me for the month of june-july.they have debited the rest of my bill charges also without informing me, inspite of calling their office and asking them not to debit from my card.
              MY TELEPHONE NO IS [protected] WHICH I USED IN THE USA AND MY BILL NOS ARE ATTG1769988 AND ATTG1772999 DATED 22 MAY 08 AND 23 JUNE 08 RESPECTIVELY.
              I had taken a usa sim card for a month, same problem, even the missed calls are charged as one minute calls.the person who gave me the phone has conveniently left job.my payment mode by cheque was ticked as credit card option and they are debiting the amount without informing.they have already misused the security deposit they had taken as pre authorisation, and was to be released after 21 days.

              I have one airtel mobile no. and it's activation date was 11.07.2008 but billing period showing w.e.f. 02.07.2008 and I have tried more time to get the solution from customer care but they are telling pls send a mail to airtel and we will solve your problem. what is this? if you can't provide good service to customer so why are you recruiting the customer care executives who neither reply any anser nor solve the problem?

              This is regarding Misquote of postpaid sim charges from Priyanka Thakur.
              This company is a big fake.This company is cheating customers, they just deduct money from the credit card without authorization.
              Company gives you fake tariff plans of charging only 0.25 cents per min and when they generate a bill they charge you 0.89cents per min which is almost four times most.

              2 months back i happened to travel to Atlanta from Delhi and i asked the Sales Executive in Delhi Matrix Office to come and meet me.I am an employee of NIIT Tecnologies ltd Delhi and i am on official visit to Atlanta.
              I met Priyanka Thakur in my officewho works in Matrix Delhi.She quoted me a plan for US that was a 30$ plan.According to her 30 $ was rental amount and calling charges were 0.25/min(10rs/min)cents per call incoming and outgoing international and local.I had also told her that i would dicontinue services in case plan doesnot suit my expenditure.So after one month after several reminders to priyanka she gave me a bill of 2394 RS. which was deducted from my credit card without informing me.
              She sent me a bill for this amount however this was not the actual bill.After 2 months they deducted 50000 rs from credit card again without informing me.After sevral inquiry i was told that my bill had exceeded 1Lakh rs.When i looked into the bill i came to know that Matrix charges 0.89cents/min(40 Rs /Min)for international call.which is more than thrice of what i was told.My mistake was that i believed in the word of mouth of Priyanka Thakur.
              If i would have known the actual amount of calling charges i would not have taken this card at any cost because i have various options that give me international calling charges just 6-7Rs/min.
              I want to know what action does company take if there employees are giving fraud quotes to the customers.
              I have been under huge mental disturbance due to this.
              Please let me know what should i do to solve my problem.

              Citibank Cheated me — Wrong bill calculation

              I made citibank payment time to time, then also they charged me late fee, i made the late fee payment also, but now they are sending me statement of high amount, i didnt purchased any thing but than also they are sending monthly statement, when i asked for fax no so that i can fax them all the details the didnt gave me, and told me that they will call me for further clarification, but nothing happened yet.(they are sending me monthly statement since last two months)

              This complai nt is regarding a fraud Companyn called Matrix Cellular.I
              I had taken 3 SIM cards for 3 different countries in Europe.
              I received a bill of Rs 45, 000/-, towards the use of GPRS on my cell.
              I contacted the sales rep. Mr Navjoyt deveral times, to come to my office and sort out this issue.
              I have not used the GPRS service, neither i use it in India, as the speed is very low.
              The days on which Matrix has billed me for GPRS, were exhibition time, and i was continously on the stall, , attending the customers/enquries. There is no possibility of giving the Phone to some one, as my partners were also having another SIM from Matrix.
              The company has given me some Excel sheet print saying that these are the detials on my usage, it dosen't mention the time start and end, what sites were accssed etc. etc.
              I totally disagree with this bills, and i will not pay the amount at any cost.
              Can we launch a complaint against such harrasements???. can govt. take some action against this fraud company???

              I have taken a new postpaid connection from (Matrix Cellular (International) Services Pvt Ltd.) on 10/02/09 and submitted all formalities required and the marketing person who was dealing with business promised me to activate my connection with in a day. Today is 14/02/09 and still my no. has not yet activated. When I am calling the concern person, she used to tell me it will be getting activated with in two hours but it seems to be impossible at the moment. Please suggest me whether it is the policy of your organization to get the customer first and not to take care after that.Please do the needful.

              I fully agree with the routine fraud of Matrix Cellular.I travelled in UK for 7 days in March 2008 with a Vodafone Data Card given to me by Matrix.At the time of delivering the same, their person told me that there will only be a monthy charge of approximate 59.99 Euro as I have clearly informed them that I use the same just to check my mails during intervals.As I had done this before in Nov 2007, it was okay with me and I had paid the bill accordingly.But this tim when returned to my office in INdia, I got a bill for Rs.245000.00(Two Lak Forty Five Thousand Rupees).Can anybody imagine a bill like that for internet usage for 7 days??Inspite of all my statements that I used the card just fo checking my mails etc, after one year, now they have lodged a civil case against me for the recovery of the above amount.I had already paid the monthly rental as per their tariff immediately on the receipt of the invoice.I am sure these people have thier own hackers to cheat customers like us.Its a real wonder for me that any service provider in the world will set a credit limit for any network users and I dont know how my account was having such a high credit limit without even paying a single rupee as advance.This is real cheating.

              data card night swift plan — GIVING A FAKE BILL.....

              i have got reliance usb modem which was free for first two months ie.from 25march to 25may, on 26th of may i have taken swift plan of 300Rs. according to which i was told 15hrs free in day & 30hrs in night but the problem is that on 7th of june they are giving me a bill of 1200 something thus charging that amount also which was under free period.i have also got a CDR WHICH IS SHOWING 6 Rs BILL but they are saying you have to give 1200 RS...SO I REQUEST TO HELP IN THIS MATTER...MY CONTACT NO.               back in 2009, I took a connection for my trip to USA on my Gf’s credit card. It was a $39.99 plus tax. Please bear ini mind that I was in USA before and I had an At& T connection. Matrix has tie ups with Cingular
              which is AT & T. They first said that Cingular and Sprint charges up front $500 for connection in USA.

              So thinking that these are hoinest guys I went ahead with the connection. GPRS was supposed to be deactivated. Further they mentioned that they GPRS rates were in tandem with Cingular, in case I dont activate it. The Cingular rate is $1/ day or for $15 unlimited.

              Upon reaching USA, I received an sms statining check usage data from http://at&T.com/mywireless for free. Now upon opening that site MATRIX charged me RS. 29, 000. (almost $700). Further, At&T says, " you have no inline support for this kind of number" . Matrix has charged 700 US for visiting the website, whereas the AT&T rates were $1/day.

              Now I have switched to Sprint, and counter to what Matrix has said I did nit have to pay anything. The problem is that MATRIX has charged the entire 29k from my gf’ credit card. I really don't know what to do. MR. JAIPRAKASH of MATRIX is a thief and he is using people’s credit cards for money laundry. Jaiprakash by the way is the international sales manager of Matrix Calcutta.

              Can anyone tell me if any legal actions can be taken against these crooks? Now MATRIX has falsely charged the credit card, and disconnected the services. Still they keep charning for cell fone not used for more than 2 years.

              Vodafone-wrong tariff — false tariff plan and no refund

              I have taken a prepaid vodafone number and has been using it since 2 years now but have never come across such bad response from vodafone. I have taken a plan of rs. 75 for my number [protected] to get the tariff of 50p per call per minute and 50 free local sms after the first message is being charged. I took the recharge on October 12, 2009 but the same was not activated for 2 days and when it gets activated, i still get charged 50p for my local messages. Its ridiculous that after having visited vodafone store twice and having being spoken to customer care n number of times through all these days, my problem is still not sorted out and i have not received a single penny refund from vodafone.
              This is inreference to my aircel cell no [protected] where they are charging for the services which i never subscribed. andthe greatest agony is that are charging me more . i have purchased aircel sim on 1 sept, 2010 with a bundle scheme and there was no rate cutter available for 6 months but after completion of 6 months which they mentioned the rate cutter would be available. but unfortunately they have cheated me time and again .i asked them to change my tariff plan for 1 paisa/1 second they said that i have to recharge with rs 3 and it will be available. but after recharging with 3 rs again they gave me zero balance and my tariff plan not changed ., and they said i should recharge with rs 4, it was not avilable. after that recharge with 61, again it was not avilable, and finally they said use 123 services and it will be done again nothing has hapened and they did not take my complaint at all

              They have charged my credit card an amount of Rs. 52, 000/- for a period that I was in India and never used their services, my passport is proof of that. They never sent me any intimation, bill or email but simply charged my card, of which I had given them details earlier.

              I have informed my credit card company who have stopped all unbilled transactions on my card and are reissuing me a new card.

              I am filing a FIR against this company with all the details.

              I am sure if we all get together and form a forum, we can teach these fraudulent companies a lesson.

              This is Dr Manohar from Bangalore. I took Matrix sim card for 10 days in Feb/March 2011. So far I have received 4 bills, latest being in month of May 2011 even though I used only for 10 days in Feb/March. Most pathetic is they have charged Rs 1900 extra for some premium service (I dont know what the f..k is this)which I have never used. Costomer care is horrible. They have deducted Rs 597 from my credit card in May 2011 without intimating to me. Moreover, I am not able to open the bill for this amount. This is a real fraud company. So guys block your credit card as soon as possible otherwise you keen on loosing your money from this fraud company. Please be advised and advise your friends not to use this sim card in future. I am planning to lodge a complaint in grahakseva.

But unfortunately I wanted to transfer this no. into idea prepaid service by using M.N.P. service facility and I have also done it successfully. When I have entered in idea service I have charged 1 rupee call/min. and I have recharged my idea m.n.p. no. [protected] with 42 rupees sms pack on[protected] and it shown in my balance enquiry 41.00 rupees main balance and 100 sms in a day bu when i send almost 20 sms my main balance deducted 30 rupees and 11.00 rupees were left and sms pack did not work on[protected] and I send a sms on[protected] it was charged 2.00 rupees from my main balance and 9.00 rupee were left . Then I tried to contact custmer care no. 198/12345 it was disconnected again and again and can not contact with idea customer care service. So I am totally disappointed with this idea service.               I took a matrix sim card for 7 days while travelling to thailand during
              june 2012.The signal was only available for 1 day after which no service was provided by matrix. After my return to india matrix wanted the sim card returned. I told them that I need my security deposit back in order to return the sim card but they DID not return my deposit. After 1 month matrix sent me a bill for rs.2, 505 which I refused to pay because there was no service available except on the first day of my travel. On 19-sep (almost 3 months after the initial transaction) matrix debited rs.2, 505 from my citibank credit card without any authentication/Authorization from my side. When I called up citibank they said that if I have placed a "standing instruction" at the time of initial transaction the vendor is automatically allowed to debit any amount from my credit card with no authorization from me. The matter is currently under investigation by citibank credit card department but there is no way to roll-back the transaction.
              Hi All,
              I had taken 3 SIMs for Singapore trip in June and 1SIM for my US trip in June-July from Matrix, who had come and dropped the card at my residence. They payment was to be made through credit card after the bill gets generated. I have been taking the Matrix card for past 2 years for my short trips to US before. 2 of the 3 SIMs for singapore the billing was as per actuals.

              But in one of the SIM which I had taken for Singapore which had no usage (no incoming and no outgoing), I received the bill of around Rs. 45 thousand. The main usage was just Data and one International SMS. I had not used Data through out my singapore trip except through Wifi at the airport. Further most of the heavy usages were at night while we were sleeping in sigapore. Also the international SMS was to some Airtel number in Delhi. I tried calling the number and the call does not even go through to that number.

              In my US SIM, the same International SMS reflects and I had not made any SMS from US either. My US sim was not working and I had complaind to them and they fixed it. Matrix sent me an SMS from India and they charged me for the same. Also the SMS from the service provider which they are tied up with AT&T have been charged in my bill. In their terms they do not mention anything about incoming SMS. Further how can they charge for SMS sent by service provider and themselves. They should not be sending any welcome SMS messages or messages stating dont use data.

              I have been following up with the Matrix agents Subhra Prasanna Sarkar (from whom I had taken the SIM) and other two people whoes reference I got from Prasanna. The two person name are Vivek Sasi and Sonu Tiwari. But there response after 3 weeks of following up is that the bills are ok. They have not given any proofs like for the data usage they have not specified the sites used and more over they have not provided from which MAC address these data usages have been carried out. It seems like they know the bills have been wrongly generated but dont want to correct the same as they aready know of it. Is there any action which can be taken against fraud billng. Since i see a lot of post is there anybody who can details the corse of action they have taken. I am in Bangalore and plan to take them to consumer court. Any advice would be helpful.

              This is Sachin from Bangalore, I used Matrix card for a week time in USA. I am sure I never made calls other than local USA and India. But I am charged for making calls to Turkry, Sri Lanka, Korea, Russia. Also When I make missed call to my family in India, expecting them to call me, Matrix charged me for these missed calls. I am very unhappy with Matrix, why would I be charged for a short missed call (less than 5-6 seconds)?

              I agree with you all. Matrix is fraud company. Do not know why still they are exists. They always have a hidden plan and they wont communicate properly. I am still fighting to get my money back. 14, 500 rs bill in just a month, that is even calling a toll free number. ( that I used to connect my conference calls. I was thinking its free because in entire USA its free from any service providers)

              Finally, I had disconnected from the Matrix Cellular Service(who they provide international sim cards for people/corporate, located in New Delhi) after the worst experience I had faced with them. Unfortunately my company(FIS) had a cooperation with them.Matrix team were not communicated properly about their tariff plans and did not mentioned about the toll free charging part. They also did not mentioned about auto-debit feature about my credit card as they were telling only that credit card information, they are collecting only for security reasons. I got a bill of $210 for my US trip in just a month and I got surprised that, majority was for toll free.They debited my credit card without my permission as well. I currently raised a dispute against their transactions. When I escalated to one senior employee of matrix named Nayab Ahmed, he told me that, they cannot refund any money as they have received my confirmation before taking the connection. I repeatedly telling him that, matrix team didn't share the tariff plans properly with me. They just shared the call charge details except the toll free part. They have not talked anything about the toll free plan verbally as well. The worst part is that, that this guy is telling we cannot do any actions as we already communicated to you that we cannot refund any money and hence closing this defect. What the hell it is. They do not have a any proof that they send tariff plan attachments to me. Still they are telling they cannot do anything. The worst ever providers. I will not be happy until I get the refund from them. I will make sure to inform this to while corporate offices and inform the entire world about your worst services and everything., until I get the refund. Go to hell Matrix Team!
              Share this to maximum companies guys. Let us throw these kind of services from our Country.
              First I should inform my company FIS to change the corporate sim services to some other providers
