    I am impressed with lot of features available at affordable price but unable to use any feature due to fear of heavy battery consumptions. I make four to five phone-receive five phones /receive three four messages and sending two to three messages and bettery get totaly consumed. I switch off my phone between 9.30pm tp 7.30am even then after six hours one bar disappear then after another three hour second bar get disapper and then after half an hour entire battery get drained and phone gets switched off. I had charged my battery for fully four to five hours for first two days. Now charge for three and half hours. (Time required to get phone battery fully charged. I make four to five phone-receive five phones /receive three four messages and sending two to three messages and bettery get totaly consumed. I can not think to listen FM radio or music player nor I can even think to write a single note. Not to mention to use camera or web surfing which is absolutely not possible due to heavy consumption of battery. Please come with immediate solution so as battery can have a normal life of two to three days for simple use of call and SMS. If phone is left ideal without any use battery get drained after ten to twelve hours. My dealer gave me best service firstly by replacing new battery and then he replaced the handset even this problem is faced. Now I am seriously thinking to sell this phone by discounted cost and suffer heavy loss. I hope my bettery problem get solved and I can enjoy all best features of this phone. Please reply.
    I can't imagine how Motorola would even have the audacity to release the phone to the market. I have the same phone - and it is TOTAL CRAP as far as power consumption goes.On standby, without using it at all, the battery is dead after 12 hours!!!
    Same problem for me also. The Battery stand by time in Worst.

      Hello Everyone,

      My Motorola handset was stolen from Andheri Station, on 26th Nov 2008. I immediately registered a complaint in Andheri Police Station and also blocked my SIM card by calling my service provider(Airtel). But when I requested motorola people to block my handset using IMEI no, I got a response that only my service provider can block my cell phone and hence they cant help me anymore. Then I requested my service provider to lock my phone, but the also responded the same way saying that only motorola can block my handset. Now I am in a very confusing situation. Pls find any solution for the problem, as neither Motorola nor Airtel is helping me in this.

        I have requested several times customer care to give settings from my mobile([protected])but till date they havent provided it yet.also my gprs not activated

        I've activated GPRS on my motorola l9. but when going to use window appears "data server is not available". I can't check yahoo mails only gmail I can open but here also I cannot send msg.

        Pls solution
        i also suffering from same probelm. i am having motorola L9 model and i had tried MTNL and Airtel connection. both have snded settings and activated GPRS but when i want to connect then it shows internet is disconnected.
        BSNL GPRS has not activated in my Motorola SLVR L9. When receive receive browser message from BSNL at that time showing up date is required. How to update my mobile to activate GPRS setting.
        BSNL costmer dose not resive to my call. i have many times called to costmer care, so please tell me to whic persion can i call for complaint.

          Sent to moriola india on 07/06/2008

          This is w.r.t.mobile model w220 I have purchased from M/s Univercell against inv.no.5358 dt.14/10.07.

          The mobile display is not proper hence I visited your authorised service centre ' Ucom Tech.Rajajinagar on 06/06/08 12:45 p.m.with the bill copy & warranty card and Mr.Murthy.

          I have been told that the display is internally damaged & can't be replaced under warrany & will be chargeable Rs.1300/-.

          It is required to note that there is no external damage & the problem is inherrent and occured without any damage/accident.Hence it has to be repaired free of cost.

          Evenwithout any inspection the mobile has been returned to me and when I ask for inspection report / can't be done under warranty report, the people have argued and retain my warrant card & copy of bill.I have been told that now I dare complain about & get the mobile repair.Fortunately I still have original bill copy with me.

          This treatment left left bad impression about Motorola & its service.

          I was using nokia model for last 5 years and served welll.It was really big mistake to go in for motorola model whose casings could not protect its internal parts even in warranty period & its people could not maintain the motorola name in high spirit.

          I hope that my handset will be repaired under warranty free of cost & the bad impression will be removed.

          It was not ABOUT the money but the way it has been handled & treated has left me in no option to get some feedback from you so that I can decide future course of action for this run away attitude.

            i took a new mobile zn5 for rs.16000 on 30/10/08 and started facing problems from day 2 of hanging slow processing... uneffective volume n vibration mode n also the headset automatic deduction at last i gave it on 13/11/08
            they told me that they will be contacting me in half n hr.
            but they dint than when i called them they said we have to send it to delhi n it will be come back within 4-5 days but after 6 days when i called them they said there sysyem is not working so they wont be able to tell the current situation of my set and told me they will contact me within half n hr n will tell me the current position of my handset but they din't
            but on 18th nov 08 i.e. today when i called them mr. kaushik some head of their told me that it will tak4-5 days more when i asked why he just slammed (disconnected) the phone and dint picked up again...
            the service and the service people are not happening and after wasting my 16k's i dont think i would be takin any handset o[censored]r company nor will be advising others.
            there is no sense of responsiblity customers comes and shout on ur office people but they just dont give a llok to it.
            a customer was telling me his memory card was taken by the office people and a lady was shoting as on of the office persons out their used her mobile.
            no body told me that the handset can only be changed within 7 days whicjh should be a responsiblity of a store.
            i believe i should file a suit against this happening

            Motorola — after sale service

            i had w388 is just soetware problem, but in mangalore service center they told me that they need 15 day to sove the problem they want to send mine mobile to bangalore

            Motorola — Regarding moto g2 battery backup and camera hang ups

            My moto g2 hangs up on taking 3-4 pictures consecutively and gives hardly battery back up of 6 hours. So i request you to assist my issue.

              I have purcase Moto-ROKR E6, intially it was finds good by 13 month later (exactly one month after warrantly period), the mobile start giving problem, initially it started with sliding switch-i replaced slididng switch(Rs.300/-), later display brigtness dimmed and battary is discharging very rapidly, at worst i standby for 2 hour and it will switch off, so i approached Service center, there demanding Rs.2000 for dispaly and Rs.600 for Battary, totally it costing me Rs.2900/- with in one 13 months of purchase.. this mobile is really useless for me, which is getting switched off with in 2 hr,

              When i purchased MotoROKR it was Rs.14500/-(one year back Aug'08), now it is Rs.8900/-, it has reduce nearly 3/4th so no one offering for good resale value.

              Pls repair my mobile, and give it good condition.

              My mobile model is W388. My mobile is facing a new problem that I can't read any new messages in phone... It prompts a "FAIL..." Dialogue box.
              When i try to create a new sms n send to someone again it prompts a message that "ERROR UNKNOWN" .Please tell me a way for recovering from the problem...
              I am also facing the same problem with my Motorola W388. I am unable to send SMS which shows Unknown Error and Unable to read which shows Fail!

              Does anyone know how to resolve and overcome this problem. this was working fine. But suddenly it started. Is anything gooffed up with the setting on this handset.

                worst service station . i gave my motorola E6 for touchscreen problem on 21 October and i didnt get back til 10th november
                I AM USING MOTOROCKER E6 . IN WHICH THE SIDE LOCK KEY IS NOT WORKING . SO I WAS GOING TO REPAIR IT . BUT AT THE SERVICE STATION OF BARODA (REDIGTON SERVICE STATION ALKAPURI) NO STOCK IS AVAILABLE . THEY ARE SAYING ME THAT PART WILL BE COME MINIMUM 15 TO ONE MONTH.AND THERE ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMER WAS VERY RUDE.THEY HAVING NO SENSE HOW TO TALK. PLEASE ARRANGE MY PART AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF SIDE LOCK KEY I HAVING SO MANY PROBLEMS .

                i am using moto rocker e6 too.I am from Nepal.I don't know whether there is sole distributer of motorola cell phone in Nepal or not.My side lock key is broken too.I really tried hard roaming every spare parts shops but couldn't find it.how am i suppose to get it.I am havein' lots of problem too due to this sidelock.is there any way?please assist.
                i am using Motorola milestone A853 of android.I am from Nepal.I don't know whether there is sole distributor of Motorola cell phone in Nepal or not.My my screen is crashed out but display is alright.I really tried hard roaming everywhere for its screen to change except Motorola care center but actually i want Motorola care center.how am i suppose to get it.I am havein' lots of problem too due to this crash of screen.is there any way?please assist.

                    I purchased my motorola mobile set[protected] Moto W180 (IMEI:[protected]) on 22 Feb, 2008 from The mobile store Gwalior.After facing the charging problem I took it to the moto (customer care) service center.where the service engineer find the set and charger o.k. but"not compatible with each other".after describing the whole matter on phone no.[protected], I again approached the Darul Habib Roxy moto service center.(phone[protected].
                    Showing anger upon it Mr Vikash at the center kept my set, charger and battery & assured me to remove my complaint on 01May, 2008.After rounding there four time, he he return my set about 15 days later, without removing the problem.
                    After then I again made complaint on Ph .no.[protected], about the whole matter., the recklessness & worse behavior of office-in charge towards customers. complaint no.[protected]date 17/5/2008.but nothing is to be done up to today.I hope that you will take appropriate action to remove my trouble.Thanks.

                    motorola l9 mic not working plz help me
                    I dont think their are any good service centres for motorola. My headset stopped working in 5-6 days so went to service centre and i came to know it was closed 2 years before but was still mentioned in motorola list of service centres.The phone numbers of other service centres given in motorola manual are wrong/invalid. I think their service are the worst.

                      i have taken motokrzr k1 cellphone from univercell in chennai spencers branch...actually it was a out dated model...i bought it in the month of may...the second day onwards i got problem...till now it went four times for service...now totally it is not working...i spent neary 1500 on it extra for travelling and for calls for them...one time they taken for service for one month...i really suffered a lot...they dint gave me even a proper computer bill...they printed wrong imei number...finally they given manual bill...i had 4 service bill...what to do ...i want other mobile of same cost including my expenditure...
                      Wats the price of Motorola L9?

                        Unfortunatly i bought a Motorola Razr2 V8 mobile tih @gb of memory space on Jan 2008, the software got currupted so i went to the lajpat nagar service centre for its repair on 2nd July 2008 . I thought the phone will be repaired in just two days as it was just a software problem but the system of the service centre was not working fine so they sent the device to the main servise sentre as they told me and after about 2 weeks later i got an information that my phone in water logged and it was out of serive but there is a sticker inside the device which turns red if the device is water logged but it was still white so there was no chance of its getting water logged so they repaired it but they put billions of scratches on the body of it so i had to fight with them for it now the condition is that it has been a month my phone is in very bad condition and the outer touch keys dont work and the screen has lots of scratches and nobody not even the head office is cooperating nor the service centre and nobody pick's up the phone and i feel like throwing the phone on the wall, they are providing such a bad service which is like pathetic

                        yes it is true that even the motorola v8 with 2gb or the locatted service centers are fuss. the same thing was happend with me, but the complaint was something else. i purchased the motoroa v8 2gb (a greatest fuss) as on december 07 and still it is in the warrenty period. actually i have been suffering with the booting problem, display problem, keypad problem, since feb 08. regarding this i leave the set for the repair at the motorola care center chandighar. it was happened two times that i leaved the set for the repair and they didn't satisfied me. the problems are still there. now i prepared my mind to forward the phone to them again and if the result will not sound than i definitely sue on company.
                        in starting my mobile screen glass has been breaked and i send it to your motorola care in shri ganganagar in abacus computer care center and after that about 15 days ago i get my motorola handset zn5 and after that i couldnot get my mobile up to the level there is some finger touch on screen under glass and cemra also and there is not properly fiting in the mobile from back side and after that i call to the care center and they said they will do some thing adout that and after that the care center is changed and there is no response about that and now few days ago i send my mobile again to install new softwear but after that they send my mobile but they changed my mobile speaker and it is not working properly and they had also not send some rubber like my mobile caps also and they said it is not our responsibility so please take some action against it
                        I sent my phone to get FIXED because I had my ringtones on it. But they send me a new phone without my ringtones and I spent money on those plus the shipping to Texas so it could get fixed. What bull crap!!! I wanted the phone with the ringtones that was the whole damn point in sending it there. I told them that and the man said that it was fine well where is my ringtones???? I don't have them anymore THANKS a LOT!!!

                          1. My client has purchased one Motorola W375 Model Handset after being allured by your different advertisements. The Handset details is Serial No. E73AHW2J27, IMEI No. [protected].

                          2. My client used the said handset after the purchase and all of a sudden the set did not work for the said reasons so, the set was given for service to you and you issue a customer job sheet vide No. 949 in the month of July, 2008.

                          3. The set was required more than one month to be repaired and lastly my client received the set, but the said set became out of order again the very next day.

                          4. Due to my client’s pre-occupation the said set was given for repairing couple of days later to you again on 17.9.2008 vide job sheet No. 1412.

                          5. My client repeatedly visited your goodself office for collection of the repaired handset but, your staff in return said the set could not be repaired as the model is out of order and it is a defective model for better accept Rs. 1, 000/- in lieu of the said handset. It seems that the said handset is a defective one as it always gives problem and my client is unable to use the set for the purpose my client had purchased and is frustrated in purchasing the said set.

                          6. My client refused to accept the said offer as the said handset is within the warranty period and it is the utmost obligation on the part of the Company and service provider to do the needful. The company is at liberty to provide with a new handset or equivalent to the said model amount in cash in lieu of the said handset.

                            I have purchased a Moto Razr V8 handset on 7-Sep-08 from Aakash Electronics (Noida, Sector - 18) and it had a one year warranty. On 1-Oct-08 my handset stopped working (within 25 days of purchase). I have purchased this handset for Rs. 12, 500 and its a very big amount for me. I gave my faulty set to AMBE Electronics (Its a Motorola Authorised Service Centre in Sector - 18, Noida) on 9-Oct-08 for repair and i was comitted by them that they will return back my handset within 10 days. Its 12 days now and i have not got any revert from them. Upon my giving a call to them, they said that they will require a copy of my bill against which i have purchased the handset (which they could have taken when i went there for giving my faulty handset as i was carrying my bill that time as well) and if i want to complaint then i need to call Motorola Customer Care Centre. I am trying to call Motorola Service Centre since morning but the no is continuously going busy. I am higly dissapointed with this Moto Razr V8 handset and also with the services of Motorola.

                            I WANT MY MONEY (Rs. 12, 500) BACK and will suggest others also not to go for Motorola handsets at all.

                            Poor battery backup, poor connectivity in rural areas, ringer sound not proper, hang most of the times, speaker not working, 1 GB MMC using but handset is not supporting, Job Sheet Lk/MO/08/09857 deposited on 25/jan and set returned on 19th mar by them, and deposited again on 21/Mar for the same problems that was occuring previously, with a new problem that after using 15 minutes o[censored]se handset restarts.                               I have purchased a motorola E6 handset on may 8th 2008. The product comes with 12 months warranty.The blue tooth device of the handset was not functioning, The handset was handed over to service center in jaipur but it was returned with out repair. the customer service center was contacted thru email but there was no response from them except a few mail exchanges.The Imei number of the handset is [protected].                                 i have a bluetooth hand free for motorocker E6 but it is not work properly . i have request in service center( Redington india Limited, lucknow) for this problem. service center genrate a work order (05525 dated 24.09.2008 and time 16:28:38 in favour of mR. sanjay Singh ) and said the bluetooh device replace in 10

                                  I 've purchasd a motorola
                                  W230(IMEI [protected]) on 09 oct from a dealer in Ambala Cantt.. but till date
                                  i am not able to use that mobile, because of the delaer and
                                  Service center people. within few hours, after purchasing the H/s
                                  I had to visit the dealer shop to change the data cable with the H/s.
                                  And the dealer response was so cheap that it was shock to me. i've
                                  purchase a mobile and the same dealer even forget about the H/s he sold.
                                  But after few arguments with me he agreed to give another data cable.
                                  He told me that theirs duty to sell only and they don't have any concern
                                  after that. And the next morning on 10 Oct, I visited Service center in
                                  Ambala Cantt at 9.30 AM. But the office opened at 10.30 AM. And receptionist
                                  didn't even registred my complaint but told me that Engineer of Service center
                                  is on leave tody and even switched off his mobile. An on 11 Oct
                                  the mobile charger stopped working. when I again visited the dealer
                                  on 12 oct he argued to me that I should go to Service Center. But it was
                                  sunday and gave me some local
                                  charger for time being. But now the charger is also not working.
                                  what should I do.I even start thinking to sell this mobile in loss
                                  and to buy another company mobile. I

                                  I bought a W230 from Bangalore Big Bazzar 2 months back and it is not getting charged. When I use the battery on some other device the battery is getting charged there. So it is the fault of W230 what I purchased. I called many times to the warranty Toll free contact but not reachable.

                                    Dear sir,
                                    I had purchased one W375/[protected], hand set on 24.03.2007 from M/s Atlas Radio Traders (Mumbai). During and after November 2007 the set started giving some trouble, as at times, it will get switched off itself automatically. But it could be switched on again. When problem started persisting, I had contacted your service centre M/s Redington India P Ltd, 102-103, Arenja Arcade, Sector-17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai-400 703. They informed that there is some problem with Software and solved the problem. After two/ three months the problem recurred again, M/sRedington India P Ltd, were contacted again and they set the problem. But during March 2008, the phone again got switched off and even after my best efforts didn’t switch on.

                                    Thereafter, when I went to M/s Redington India P Ltd, I found that the office has been closed. During July, 2008 I went to the shop, from where I had purchased the phone. They informed that some new Service Centre has come up in Vashi, New Bombay. After a great difficulty it could be located. On 13.08.2008, I delivered the phone at the Service Centre Varad Electronics, F-1/7, Shop#28, Gyandeep CHS, Sector-3/4, Sagar Vihar Road. During September 2008, when I contacted them they informed that the Phone is totally dead and nothing can be done as warranty period has expired.

                                    Here I would like to inform you that the phone had started giving trouble hardly after six months of purchase i.e. during Warranty period itself. When i raised this point with the lady sitting on the counter, she refused to listen and bluntly said that they are not responsible, if M/s Redington India P Ltd, has not attended the complaint correctly.

                                    I shall request you to kindly look into the matter, what best can be done in the matter.

                                      Sir, my Motorola MOTO ROKER Z6 have some problem, so i gave it to our local authorized cervice center located at Alleppey, Kerala State, name of the center is M/s ATLANTA Computers, Alleppey Kerala, (my hand set is now in the warranty period), but they are very indifferent to me, they have not yest repaired and not even agreeing a favorable date to me too. and its already 2 months over, My complaint is against the service center.                                         I bought a Motorola cell and it stopped working within 3 months. And i had given it for service. i was informed that the motherboard needs to be repaired. when i got it back, it was in a locked status. so i again contacted the service center and i was told that only Airtel GID sim can be used in this phone. I was using vodaphone sim when bought it and neither I am informed about it also by the shop. Even the manual or the cover does not give any information with regard to this fact. I was also told to contact the shop by the service center. When i contacted the them they told me to give Rs250 to unlock it.

                                        i purchased a Motorola L9 Handset, after few months the 9 key of key stopped functioning. i took this to the Shop from where i purchased the same. the told that it will take few days to rapair and kept my handset with them. they made me walk for several days to reply how long they will take to rapair it and finally they tlod me that they have sent it to Chennai for rapairing. i got it after two months, but i noticed that they Key Pad was repaired but it could neither receive nor dial any other number. i informed they and they kept it back for repair. Again after a long time they informed me that they are unable to repair the problem. I am puzzled what to do.

                                        I am using a Moto Rokr E6 mobile phone few months back I went to the authorized service centre of Motorola regarding my mobile was not charging, without even cheking anything they just took my mobile for reparing even when I was forcing them to check my charger. When they returned my mobile still the problem remains then they told me that its your charger is faulty. From that day onwards I am facing problems in my mobile regularly. They dont even reply to my mails now. Its a pure case of cheating. I have also mailed them regarding the consumer forum still no response. Please take some hard steps against them so that they should know what is Consumer Forum...
