I applied for my PAN CARD on the 11 .09.2008. AS claimed by NSDL the CARD returned unclaimed because 'Consignee not available'. this I think is baseless as there is always someone at my house. I had even kept authorization letter with my mother and land lord to received the CARD. Case is pending since almost 2 months nothing has happened.Giving a call on Helpline at Mumbai[protected] & Gurgaon[protected] is a waste of time since no body knows what is the status. Only one reply I get, "your application is with Income Tax Dept"...
