I was looking for a used mobile where I received message from Selller named Niket Kumar, Ad Id :[protected], Contact Information : Anurag Kumar. He promised for a mobile which is sealed and US model with bill and warranty and told me to communicate only on his Whatsup Number : [protected] and requested me to make Online Advance payment of Rs.5000/- and balance Rs.20, 000/- as COD and after satisfaction of product genuine. His bank details are : SBI Bank, Account Number - [protected], IFSC SBIN0016256. I asked for quikr pay but he requested that SBI Online payment is a genuine proof if he is doing any fraud activity. I made payment online of Rs.5000/- on 6th Feb and he promised me delivery by 9th Feb. I chased him for delivery from 9th Feb and immediately switched off his correspondence mobile number and finally he contacted me a different number -[protected] on Saturday giving me an excuse that he wont deliver product without full online payment. I told him to handover mobile and take balance cash but he refused. I had some doubt on his behaviour and I had already lost the hope that he would refund since during the start of negotiation, he made big promises of COD, Refund and stuff. He kept calling me to pay balance amount and said I will send you a agreement letter that if I make a payment of balance he will deliver product within 2 days failing which I can lodge a legal action against him. He send me his PAN, AADHAR Card and a informal hand written letter written in Hindi language for delivery promise. I was blackmailed to made the balance payment with all his honesty principles. Once I made payment of Rs.17, 000/- on 15th Feb, he never picked the calls thereafter. He just started responding very late just mentioning OK, Wait but never gave me delivery schedule nor delivery person details. Finally I called Quikr but they rendered no help as it was not through Quikr pay. Finally I got response from Quikr ad chat that someone on his behalf chating though I suspect it is the same person. He blocked me on Whatsup and started ignoring my calls. Finally after warning many time for Police complaint, he yet managed to give me many excuses to wait, n finally one of his staff saying he is in ICU and met with accident. When my Mother sms him on whatsup he replied assuming its a new customer and I caught him that he has blocked me on whatsup. I request all the other buyers to be careful of such fraud since I learnt a heavy lesson to buy mobile online.
I will seek Police help on 21st Feb by lodging FIR against Niket Kumar and hope our Police gives me required support to catch this team of fraud people.
If any one can help me who has been cheated same way, I would appreciate his help.
