I had booked a ticket from Kolhapur to pune on 17th of august. The journey was supposed to leave Kolhapur at 11 am. At around 8 am when i recieved a call from a nakoda travels representative stating that the bus that was supposed to take me, has suffered breakdown, and I couldn't travel that day. The representative also said that redbus will issue a full refund to me as they have informed redbus about the breakdown. I felt assured that I will get my money back, and booked a ticket for a later time on the same day. Before boarding the bus, I called the Nakoda representative yet again just to make sure that I'll be getting my money back from redbus itself and not Nakoda travels. I also opened a chat complaint with redbus as the ticket of the bus that suffered the breakdown, didnt show as cancelled. On first contact, redbus told me the issue will be resolved within 72 hours. After iychecked with the chat everyday to se if there were any updates and even tried to provide new information everytime. But unfortunately I was met with the same response that "We couldn't get in contact with the bus operator..." Which I know to be a lie.
I still kept good faith and waited for the entirety of 72 hours. But I doubt that my complaint is even being read by a real human being. Hence I am foreced to post my complaint here and if even this dosent work, I will be going to a consumer court.
I don't know if the issue is on nakoda travels side or redbus side or is caused by a third party; and I dont care either Its redbus' responsibility to get me my money back first and solve the issue on their own time.
This is extremely dissapointing from redbus, but I will not stop till I recive my money.

Redbus has refunded my money within 12 hours of posting here. Sad to know that one has to go to such legnths. Overall dissatisfied with redbus.

    Money Debited But Ticket is not confirmed Yet.

    Dear Team,

    I made a booking on 19th August 22 from coimbatore to miyapur, hyderabad seat no.u1 R Tours and Travels 20 Aug passenger name ARUN) at 11 pm.

    I made a payment of Rs 2689.35/- thru net banking at 11:03 pm.

    The payment has been debited from my end and credited into your account but the system failed and the ticket was not issued.

    I have booked the ticket twice but payment failed and asked me to book some other seat, but the money got deducted twice. Almost Rs1600 money got deducted (800. * 2 times). Now how can I book another ticket as I don't have money and poor response from red bus chat agent. 45 mins so far still chat going but no reply . You should revise the money immediately or give some response properly just for our satisfaction.

      I booked a bus ticket from redbus from panipat to jaipur. Amount has been deducted from Gpay but my app is not showing any confirmation related to booking. And now there is no way to talk to the customer care. They are just making me talk to the computer on call and in chat with us option there is also no option to chat with executive. This was my first experience with redbus. And it was the worst one. I’m never gonna use this stupid app ever again in my life.

          Ticket 2 -female, total amount paid 872.33 with govt applied "mahila concession".
          Now point is boarding is done my 3 passengers all female including 2 child below 7 years of age.
          Now conductor ask for one more half ticket as there are three passengers boarded.

          Hi hope you are doing good, On 12-Aug-2022 my dad and two other people booked ticket on SHIVANI TRAVELS EGMORE from chennai to palani with MMM TRAVELS, But after booking the ticket agency person sent the ticket message and all after sometime the GPS was switched off by the bus he came very very late we could not track the bus too my dad was waiting there for litrelly 4 hours and tried to contact the driver atleast 20 times he never responded suddenly hours after arrival time he called back and said he came to the place but my dad was 5 km away he said he is on the way but he left the bus without boarding my dad and two of his friends and also he switched off the phone when we called back the next day he is not speaking in good terms and while i tried to call redbus there is no response too while we tried to call agencies he said it will be regestered on redbus subsidiary seat seller always if they regester we cannot contact agencies too now we lost around 5000 RS and also i cannot understand the barbaric rude behaviour of the driver too and now everyone says no one is responsible for the money and now i decided this is the last time i am ever going to book with redbus i dont understand how redbus could accept this kind of travels for their service, i would like to get answers regarding this incident and how to carry this forward i am actually fedup with this and thinking of filing a official complaint on police station i have attached the documents below thankyou, ,

          We regret the inconvenience caused during your journey. We escalated your complaint to the bus operator. As per the update received from them, the bus had operated successfully and customer was waiting at the koyambedu bus stand, but the boarding point was selected as Perungalathur Bus Stop at 11 PM. Therefore, bus operator has refused to initiate refund.

            I Booked travel ticket on redbus Ticket Number: TR[protected]
            it was cancelled by bus operator without any reason, i booked ticket on 9 August 2022 of eagle travel through redbus app i got sms from redbus that i will get refund of Rs 1070 on 15 August 2022 @ 11.40 AM My date of journey is 15 August 2022 @10.30PM
            On today itself redbus app is showing tickets are available for two eagle travel bus. Only thing is they doubled my ticket price i book 2 ticket @1070 on 09 August 2022 now they are asking for 2400 for 2 tickets, they are not giving my ticket where i dont have any fault, bus operator has cancelled my ticket only because of price hike i need help

              Dear Team,

              I made a booking on 29 july from basti to Delhi.

              I made a payment of Rs 3330/- thru Googlepay.

              The payment has been debited from my end and credited into your account but the system failed and the ticket was not issued.

              I tried calling customer care and they insisted that the payment is not rec'd in your end and asked me to check with my Bank.

              I have checked with my Bank and found that the payment of Rs 3330/-has been duly credited to redbus.

              The UPI transaction ID[protected] date 29 July transaction successfully

                      I booked an online ticket for 11:50 pm (12 Aug 22) Holiday Appeal Private Limited through redbus from CHD to KASOL. I followed up with the conductor and travel agents before reaching boarding points, in that time they told me, the bus is delayed by 30 mins. it was already late for me, after some time I tried to call again, but that time they told me that driver had chosen a different shortest route and they'll not be able to come to the boarding point as they were already far away from that point. it was a very terrible experience with redbus, I was waiting for them at 1 AM and they were giving such excuses. I could not find any other alternate, now I need a complete refund back. but the traveling agent did not respond.

                          Ticket ID - TR[protected]

                          I was well with in my 8 hour limit that redbus mentioned to reschedule my ticket. The passenger who is supposed to travel with me is down with covid and redbus is inhuman enough to not help me with this and they denied the request to reschedule. They are looting the 4k I paid for them. Can someone please take necessary actions against them ?

                            My self Tejal Patil i booked a bus from Pune to Dhule. Date -10/08/2022 booking PNR[protected] . Bus no GA 07 F 8980 Paulo travels the arrival time was given 11.00 pm i went before 10 to 15 mins then i got a msg that the bus is delayed for 45 mins after 11.45 the pickup men and the driver switched off there mobiles and i waited till 1.30am at that place this is ridiculous still the bus didn’t arrive i want my money refunded asap ….

                              August 11 I have booked bus ticket From Hosur to Aluva through Amazon pay. Bus booking service has powered by redbus.Travels Name is Jai Sai Road links.My Boarding time is 9: 00 PM
                              So I was waited at boarding point since 8:40PM.
                              Bus has crossed the my boarding point at 9:45 PM. I had tried to stopped the bus but bus operator has not stopped the bus at my boarding point.Eventhough i tried to call the Bus operators few minutes before the bus arrival time but I didn't get any response from them. After sometime bus operator has reported that bus crossed from your boarding point He said. Simply they people said bus has crossed.My ticket amount is 1993.95 RS. My planned activities are totally get spoiled.

                              We booked our first bus Rkn transqueen via redbus from Villupuram to Pollachi on 02nd July 2023 11.59pm the bus got accident right next to our boarding point so we again booked another bus on 3rd July in redbus the bus name is Vetri travels we reached the boarding point at 1.05 AM our boarding time is 1.20 am the bus crossed our boarding point which is not stopped...iam first time booking tickets in online my colleagues referred me rebus.com same day we just paid around Rs:- 5431 now I'm traveling to pollachi in government bus..kindly please provide my refund.

                                    Recently I booked 6 bus Tickets from redbus For my Travel from New Delhi to Haridwar. meanwhile, on the journey, I complained to the bus operator and red bus for different seats provided and also water dropped from the upper, bad seat, and not provide accommodation wich they mention in the ticket. That's why we complained to the red bus and bus operator about changing seats and more. but the bus operator denied and cancelled our journey meanwhile travelling. and then after they have dropped us on mid of highway. and also grab our luggage on the road. at that time heavy rainfall. and they have not arranged any other transportation for our journey. we have called to bus operator and redbus customer executive many times. but no one gets a good solution we are waiting on the road for 4-5 hours for alternate vehical but no one can ride us and no one can lift us. and also 200km Left for our destination. then after I arranged one trip from Delhi for emergeny travel and I had pay 8000 rs for my alternat travel way. and at that time customer executive said you can arrange a taxi in the local place where we dropped. but then after they are not paying my other money which I paid for an alternative way. because I have booked a taxi because they have not arranged any alternate travel. because I have waited on the road for 5-6 hours we have given lots of time for our solution but no one can help that's why I complained. we request to you please pay 8000 rs which I spent alternative vehicle.
