I had booked a ticket from Kolhapur to pune on 17th of august. The journey was supposed to leave Kolhapur at 11 am. At around 8 am when i recieved a call from a nakoda travels representative stating that the bus that was supposed to take me, has suffered breakdown, and I couldn't travel that day. The representative also said that redbus will issue a full refund to me as they have informed redbus about the breakdown. I felt assured that I will get my money back, and booked a ticket for a later time on the same day. Before boarding the bus, I called the Nakoda representative yet again just to make sure that I'll be getting my money back from redbus itself and not Nakoda travels. I also opened a chat complaint with redbus as the ticket of the bus that suffered the breakdown, didnt show as cancelled. On first contact, redbus told me the issue will be resolved within 72 hours. After iychecked with the chat everyday to se if there were any updates and even tried to provide new information everytime. But unfortunately I was met with the same response that "We couldn't get in contact with the bus operator..." Which I know to be a lie.
I still kept good faith and waited for the entirety of 72 hours. But I doubt that my complaint is even being read by a real human being. Hence I am foreced to post my complaint here and if even this dosent work, I will be going to a consumer court.
I don't know if the issue is on nakoda travels side or redbus side or is caused by a third party; and I dont care either Its redbus' responsibility to get me my money back first and solve the issue on their own time.
This is extremely dissapointing from redbus, but I will not stop till I recive my money.

Updated by mihir pardesi Redbus has refunded my money within 12 hours of posting here. Sad to know that one has to go to such legnths. Overall dissatisfied with redbus.
