i have given a complain on19/10/10 about poor signal quality. In 21/10/10 i recieved a message from 59111 stating that my problem has been solved and they deduct an amount of 175 from my account bearing smart card no[protected]. Then i call customer care and ask them about it . Then they make another complain having complain no[protected]. after that i call to customer care about it so many times but until today it was not solved. Generally they take 48 hours to solve such problem but it is 25 now.so i have came here. I request you to see this matter.

    Sir,
    I have taken the reliance big tv dth connection in the month of october 7,2010. He committed to me that they will install within 7 working days but installation completed after 10 working days. Now I am calling the costumer care 2 or 3 time daily but activation problem is continue. I am unable to see the channels. costumer care said your channels is activated but my tv is still not activated

      I owned Reliance big DTH since 2008 having Smart card no.[protected] on the name of Mr. Yogesh Gupta.

      As i shifted to my new home i made a request on re-locating the DTH on 15 oct. 2010.

      They charged Rs.350 for re-locating. They install the dish on the same day but they havnt checked the signals properly.

      When i switched on my dth i found that some channels shows the mes. 'SIGNAL LOST'.
      i called customer care for troubleshooting but the said that i have to pay another Rs. 175 for engineer visit. I loged a complaint against the person who relocate the dish at my house vide complaint no.[protected] regarding improper installation.

      Customer care executive says that my complaint will be resolved with in 48 hrs.

      I again called customer care on 21 oct at 7.30 p.m. to know the status of my complaint.

      They said that action was taken against the concerned person but i have to pay Rs. 175 for my problem to be solved.

      I again said that my dish was not properly installed and i was already charged by Rs. 350 for that then why would i pay bt they dont want to listen or understnd my problem.

      In the end i just wanna say that aftersales service of Reliance Big and its customer care is so poor that i never suggest anyone to buy that company product.

      Reliance BIG TV DTH — POOR SERVICE

      I bought Reliance BIGTV DTH a month ago, but after installation we just watch one channel (Ghan Darshan) for 10 days, and on 11th day the problem was corrected.Now on 25th day of installation the same problem occured from 3 days and is not corrected till 29th day of installation.
      Can any one help me please, as I call thousand times to the c. care of above service but all in vain.
      Definitely Very poor service.

      Big TV DTH — BAD CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE

      I HAVE SUBSCRIBED FOR ONE YEAR BIG TV DTH (SOUTH PLATINUM PACK) AFTER THROUGH INQUIRY FROM DEALER WITH YOUR LEAFLEFT FOR RS. 3400/- AS PER THE LIST ON 05.10.09. ON 07.10.09, I CALLED THE CUSTOMER CARE AT 1500 HRS, TO RENEW THE SERVICE FOR ONE YEAR AS ALREADY RECHARGED FOR RS. 3400/-. I WAS TOLD THAT YOUR PACK AS DESIRED, WILL BE RENEWED FOR ONE YEAR. BUT MY RECHARGED AMOUNT WAS DEDUCTED AS DAILY BASIS FOR THREE DAYS, DESPITE ASSURANCE BY THE CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVE. AGAIN I RECHARGED FOR DTH SERVICE FOR RS. 500/-MORE FOR THE ABOVESAID PACK FOR NONE OF MY MISTAKE.

      MY SUGGESTION IS THAT CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE SHOULD BE MORE BUSINESS ORIENTED WITH MORE EFFICIENT PEOPLE, UNDERSTANDING CUSTOMER GRIEVANCES. OTHERWISE YOUR BIG NAME MAY BE AT STAKE.
      Hi,

      I had purchased 1 year pack last year. It got over today. for that i recharged my account "[protected]" with RS 650. Just next moment when i checked my account it turned out that they had deducted RS 11 because of negative balance. After 1 hour when i checked they have again deducted RS 11. When i called Customer care they said because of the Elite pack and English pack they have deducted they money. When i checked my Big Tv service i was not able to view they channels. When i said this this to the Customer care executive "Named : Praveen" he said to wait. when he told me to check i was able to see they channels. Then i came to know what he did. He Not only activated that two packs he also activated the Total Pack also i.e South Special pack. When i asked him why he has done it like that he told that it happens automatically. I think before doing that they should have told that it will happen. My money got deducted for that pack (South special + Elite + English) and money got deducted. Actaully i wanted to subscribe for some other pack. But that executive is not ready to accept his mistake or Refund me back the money so that i can subscribe some other pack. This is really bad. This is a Fraud by the Customer Care executive as well as Company. Please help me out how to approach Consumer Forum or any other services so that proper step can be taken by me.

        RELIANCE BIG TV

        I registered the complain on 17th morning at reliance customer care. As the system was not working. They told me that your issue will be solved within 48 hrs, but till today it has not been solved. I have called several times, but always one answer"Hum mafi mangte hai apse". They don't listen only, according to me reliance is the worst company, i have ever seen, in my words i will say "CHOR". I advice general people not buy any reliance item, they just know how to cheat people, and how to increase there funds. I am highly disappointed and expect a resolution.

        Reliance Big TV — wrong commitment

        i have purchased reliance big tv 5 days back ago they said the installation will happen in 72 hrs but its not happen
        My card no is[protected], i bought this BIG tv on 13-09-08, still it is not installed.The 48 hrs of after the compalin is also over.
        Everyday i call your CC people and they tell me the false statement that it will install by today only, this is the worst service ever.
        Reliance products should not be purchased on launch. Wait and watch for a year till they work out internal processes before taking any risks. Well most of you dont have the brains and will jump again at the next Reliance offering nevertheless without any inquiry.

        I had thought plenty Reliance experiences online should make you to think before applying. So well stupids like YOU ALL DESERVED THE CRAP Reliance is dishing out.

        Such a short description of problem please explain in detail.
        and installation is not a issue now. previously it was because of bulk order of installation calls but not everything is solved.. enjoy Big TV
        Being a reliance employee, this is very painful to complaint regarding any of the reliance product or services.
        But they have forced me to do so. my uncle have loged his complaint on 10th of october 2010, but he didnt got any response, then again he complaint on 16th oct and complaint no is[protected], but again no rsponse, once again he complaint and he got complaint no[protected] with assurance of problem rectification in 24 hrs, the technical person named "PARMESH" has assured that they will take action on feild engineer, but nothing has happend, and no action has been taken. then lastly he called me, because he knows taht i am also a reliance company employee, so he compaint me described me every thing,
        so i also want request you to, take proper action. because its spoiling the name of company.
        and if now also no action has been taken then i will also agree with my uncles opinion that reliance is the worst company in the universe.

          Last subscription paid for 3 months of silver pack and 4 months of sports channel(ten sports) paid for 4 months.The date of payment is supposed to be 29th of this month so why am i asked to pay for further subscription earlier...

          Reliance — unwanted subscription of sports pack

          I have an reliance gsm number. they charges Rs. 30+ every month without my authorisation.
          I try to call customer care of the said company but they are not able to provide reasonable guide.
          Worst Service - Raised the below complaint to customer care and waiting for the reply

          Dear Sir,

          My subscriber ID is[protected]

          I have subscribed for 1 Year Plan, with Aditya and Jumbo English

          My account is deducted with additional amount every month, so i asked customer care on 04/09/12 to know the detail, They asked me to recharge for 10 Rupees and Call back so that they will resume the service with aditya only and cancel the jumbo Pack.

          So i Recharged for 10 Rupees and called them back for resume of services, and When i called back i came to know that additional 5 rupees is deducted every month for Tamil regional pack which was a surprise for me and so i asked them to forward the complaint to higher official, so i was connected to another person Rahiz-Team Leader

          who told that 5 rupees was getting deducted every month in my account, and only today you came to know that information.

          Then i asked to take this as complaint, but he refused to take it as a complaint.

          For resuming the services he told to wait for 1 Hour it will resume service automatically. so i asked why they told to call back after recharging. he told it takes 1 Hour.

          To confirm that what he told i called back again to customer service, and again i was connected through the customer care executive to the same team leader.

          I asked him to resume the service, and again i was asked to recharge additional 45 rupees then only you can call again to cancel the jumbo English.

          So i asked them why they didn't inform that I should recharge 45 Rupees earlier itself and why should i recharge for 1 year plan and again should i recharge every month for Tamil Regional pack.

          He told that if you want to resume service recharge otherwise you can decide to cancel the DTH Service.

          He does not know how to handle and speak with customer care and when i ask him to why i am getting different information every time i call.

          Please take necessary action on this case immediately and let me know what should be done to resume services.

          I there i find no action taken from your side I will Escalate this and take it over to Consumer Court.

            as we have shifted our home from old apt to new one on oct 2nd 2010 and we have made an complaint on install and un install of big tv 6 times but till now no technician came to our home as we have given complaint to reliance big tv customer care

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              I wish to inform you that I was approached by a sales representative representing the direct buisness associate of Relaince Big TV on 19 September 2010. He came from M/s APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd.

              His Name is Mr Prem Kumar( Mobile:-[protected]) & he informed me the following:-

              a) He told that Big TV is offering special price for special customers. The special customer should satisfies either of two case: Either he should be a reliance mobile customer for the past three years or else he should be having a cheque leaf ending with 10 or 31.
              b) If the customer satifies either of these condition, he would receive reliance Big Tv connection worth Rs 5490 for just Rs 1575. In addition to that one would receive 3 month free gold pack subscription.
              c) When asked to show the list of channels available, he said he dont have the list with him & that one would be receiving entire set of channels except Cartoon Network & HBO. d) In addition to that he told after 3 month one would need to pay just Rs 125 to get the entire list of channels.
              e) He repetetively told us that we would receive more channels than Hathway(Which I was using earlier,charge just Rs100 & used to get most of the channels),by just paying Rs25 extra.

              Unfortunately, I had SBI Cheque leaf ending with 10 (I am repenting for it now!!!) & subscribed for reliance Big Tv. They installed the set of box within one week as mentioned & i was pretty happy with timely work done.

              A day later when i opened Big Tv to find the list of channel they offer, to my surprise I was not getting the list of Sport & Music Channel( which the sales person promised would be more than what Hathway offers). When i browsed net i got to know that the set of box installed in my house was worth Rs 990 only & the gold Pack charge was Rs 248. It was a rude shock for me.

              From that day onwards i started calling Mr Prem Kumar (Sale Person) who never bothered to lift my call & Big Tv Customer Care. Every time I make a to call the customer care, I need to explain my grievance two times. An operator would receive the call & then he would transfer the call to supervisor. The supervisor would in turn ask for 24-48 hr time to resolve the issue & later would close the issue with out even confirming from the customer.

              I called customer care on 2 October & had a talk with Ms Lavanya. After listening to my complaints, she promised me that the issue would be resolved within 2 days. In addition to that she told "the sales person would call back with in 2 days & that they have lodged a complaint against APPCO for providing false information". My complain no is[protected].

              I didn't receive any call from them, so I called them on 4th Oct afternoon to know the status of my issue. They assured me that the complaint is in resolving state & would be done by next 24 hr. I waited patiently for there call to come & the issue to be resolved, to my surprise i got a message that the issue is closed on 6th Oct.

              I called the customer care on 7th Oct & had a talk with Mr Naveen (Technical Dept Incharge). He assured me again that the issue would be resolved in 48 hr & an complaint has been logded against APPCO Sales Person. I was given a new complaint no :- [protected]. Again no one turned up.

              I called them today(10th Oct) morning & requested them to connect either to Ms Lavanya or Mr Naveen (to whom i have explained the issue). They didnt do it & in turn connected to Ms Anusha. She asked me to call at around 12 & that she would connect my call to Floor Manager. I called them up at 12:30 only to know that, Manager are in meeting( Every time i asked them to connect my call to manager,some or the other excuse would come). This Time I had a talk to Ms Naseem (Supervisor). She gave me a new complaint no :[protected] & told my issue would be resolved in next 24hr, which is most unlikly to occur.

              I never dreamt that a company like Reliance, which is the icon of India makes money by providing false information. Big Tv AD states that "It's time to think Big" , but i am sorry to say there thoughts are very cheap.

              May I request you to initiate action against Big TV and APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad. at the earliest.

              Dear Sir,
              Sub : Not Installed Reliance Digital TV – Reg.,

              On 03 March 2013 market representatives of the above company Mr. Chandu (Mobile No.[protected]) and Mrs Divya / Joshna, Assit. Manager (Mobile No.[protected] came to my House No. 385/B, Phase-I, Allwyn Colony, Kukatpally-500072, Hyderabad, Mobile No. [protected] and offered Reliance Digital TV connection by providing a set box, remote and installation within 7 days (Order Copy No. 154426). I paid that amount by cash an amount of Rs.1790/- and DD charges Rs. 30/- (at the time I have not any cheques. They asked, give me money, then we have put up the DD in favour Appco Marketing (I) PVT Ltd., Hyderabad). When set box, remote was not supplied and when digital TV connections were not installed even after 28 days, I repeated tried to contact the above mention market executives on their mobile nos. but they never attended my calls. They initially promised to look into the matter and sort out the problem. They have not sorted out the problem till date and later when I am trying to contact them on their mobile they do not attend my calls. May I request you to my compliant and sort out the problem at the earliest.

                I am Reliance BIG TV customer (BY MISTAKE) since June 2010 and i want to share a BIG STORY OF HOW RELIANCE BIG TV IS CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS RIGHT FROM DAY 1 !


                THE STORY OF RE LIE NCE BIG BLUFF IS AS FOLLOWS:
                On May 31, 2010, i applied for RELIANCE BIG TV connection through APPCO MARKETING (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED, the direct business marketing company of Reliance BIG TV.

                Mr Ravi Mishra, (Representative Code: H4BT[protected] the marketing executive of the Company promised that he would give me the connection within 48 hours of the payment of the subscription fee of Rs 1490/-. He further added that if i paid cash he would get the installation done within the same 48 hours. Thus, i paid him Rs 1500/ - Cash for a plan of Rs 151 per month ( Including 2 paid channels). BUT to my shock Mr Mishra demanded extra money for quick activation of services. This shows that RELIANCE BIG is corrupt right from the base level.

                How can Reliance be happy without troubling the customers CONTINUOUSLY. The very next day from the day of payment of subscription fee, Mr Mishra would either be in meeting all the time or switch off his mobile and never replied to my calls.

                I lodged a series of complaints with Reliance Big Customer Care Service and the APPCO but in vain. In reply to one of my complaints i got a shocking answer- Mr Mishra is on leave for 8 days so only after he re-joining the office they would be able to update me. Can a COMPANY like RELIANCE get paralyzed by non availability of just a single employee?

                Finally i got the connection on JUNE 08, 2010 BUT without the 2 paid channels which i applied for on May 31, 2010. I was already fed up with Reliance so did not want to argue on that.

                The free subscription of three months was about to expire on September 7 2010 so immediately i recharged online with Rs 480 recharge coupon as per the instructions of BIG TV. (receipt enclosed)
                Today, On October 06, 2010 my services were suspended without prior intimation.

                When i inquired i came to know that they are charging Rs 240 PER MONTH as the DTH charges and the same was deducted from my payment of Rs. 480 made earlier. The balance Rs 240 they charged me for purchasing extra cable, WHICH I NEVER PURCHASED !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now they demand Rs 240/- if i want to resume my services......!!! THIS IS CALLED RELIANCE BIG TRAP !!!

                Now that i was being CHEATED BY RELIANCE AT EVERY STEP I tried to speak to a senior customer care executive but the Customer care executives puts the line on hold and never revert back. I tried calling them again and the RESULT WAS SAME.

                I have mailed them several times including Mr Hitesh Chawda, Manager of the Organisation but as usual nothing moved .............

                If one wants to check out whether whether reliance is cheating customers or not just type "reliance big tv complaint" in Google search and we can find 1,85,000 results. But does RELIANCE CARE ABOUT IT ?

                It seems that the MOTTO of Reliance is CUSTOMER SHOULD NO MORE BE THE KING and Reliance believes that BIG BLUFF ACCUMULATES BIG WEALTH...Now i came to know the secret behind being one of the the wealthiest in India.


                I have learnt a lesson of my life that RELIANCE IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER EVER !

                GUYS PLS PLS PLS DO NOT PURCHASE ANY RELIANCE PRODUCT IN LIFE !!!!

                  My Reilance Big TV No[protected] renewed for a period of one year package of Rs.2400/-, during Feb/ March 2010. Wherein the Big TV people are advising me to renew as it is over due. There is no clarity of account usage from the date of renewal. This has put my self in hard ship as their is terms are appears to be wrong reporting or calculations. They have to justify with details of monthwise usage of from the date of renewal. It is happening for the second time. your valid support / suggestions is well appreciated.

                    Last month[protected] i purchased Relaince HD DVR connection, universal remote failed to mapped on the installation day, they said other team will come and mapp this remote, but nobody come after 5 days, then i made complaint on 14-07-10 but the technician has came on 19-07-10 and mapped my TV only not with DVD system
                    Then exalted this issue many times to customer service, finally 27-09-10 technician visited my house and took my LG DVD remote for make mapping on its head office,they took 3 days after they come concluded LG remote have some problem so we unable to do mapping.
                    Then i contact LG customer service to check my remote, they certified that your remote was fine
                    After that i got call from Relaince CC on 06-10-10 saying that ur LG remote is fine but ur model is not able to mapp with your DVD player(said by Mr fredrick- team leader, we tried a lot but we cant mapp this to ur LG dvd player of model no HT924, he also confirms this model will not mapp with our universal remote in all over india)
                    so hence i request you to take this issue as high priority and do the needfull
                    please tell me whether i have to continue your service or not

                        I have bought Big TV 2 months back. In this 2 month i am having lot many problems. First i am suffering from poor signal all the time. When ever i call customer care they say maximum 48 hrs issue will resolve but nothing happens till that time. I personally have to call the service engineer number of times and almost have beg to come and fix the issue. This is really bad. Second is these people have deducted amount from my account 1 month back and till now they are not sure why they have deducted and not willing to return back to my account. Even supervisor is not aware of whats happening. Please let me know if any one can help.

                        If any one reading this review to get BIG TV connection my recommendation is STRONG NO. Dont get caught in the trap.
                        Just now the BIG tv service perons have visited and asking for Rs 500 for repair. is this kind of service we are waiting for. Non sense. These people are really bad vary bad people.

                          My Customer ID[protected]. I subscribed to Bigtv DTH in July 09, my initial monthly subscription being around Rs 230/- under a specific South package. Some-where around May-June this year without any notice to me few of the channels disappeared and on my queries to customer service, I was told that the subscription rates have been increased to around Rs.250/- with some added channels not needed by me. I paid this subscription but I had to keep on calling them to change to this package. I paid Rs.250/- around 25/26 Aug 00 with some Rs.8/- carried over from previous balance. About a week back my TV screen showed that I should pay the subscription by or before 25/9/00. Further on 25/9/00 my screen again showed that there is only a balance of around Rs.24/- and that I should pay Rs.224/- for uninterrupted service. My Bigtv screen has gone off today morning (26/9/00). I fail to understand that when there was a balance of Rs.24/- on 25/9/00 how the service can go off the air for me? Incidentally, the customer care needs to take lessons on politeness and civilized behaviour inasmuch as once when I pointed out to one of the customer service staff that I would cease to be a subscriber if poor service was met out to me, he bluntly told that in such event automatically Bigtv musclemen will come and take away the appliances installed in my house.
                          THIS MAIL IS POSTED TO GET A CLARIFICATION FROM BIGTV DTH.
                          Customers have been getting for their money WHAT BIGTV offers as COMBO OFFERS which Bigtv chooses.
                          DO THE CUSTOMERS HAVE ANY OPTION OF CHOOSING WHAT THEY NEED TO WATCH FOR THE MONEY THEY PAY RATHER THAN ANYTHING STUFFED UPON THEM.

                              THIS IS SHANTHI BASHEER, SMART CARD NO.[protected]. I SHIFTED MY RESIDENCE FROM ICF/CHENNAI-600038 TO PATRAVAKKAM / CHENNAI-600058 ON 16.09.2010.

                              I REQUESTED FOR RE-INSTALLATION OF BIG TV ON THE SAME DAY. THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE ASKED ME TO PAY RS.350/- TOWARDS CHARGES AND I CREDITED TO MY BIG TV ACCOUNT ON THE SAME DAY ITSELF. WHEN I INFORMED THE CUSTOMER CARE THEY PROMISED TO REINSTALL WITHIN 24/48 HRS.

                              TODAY IS 22.09.2010 ( 7 DAYS). STILL THEY HAVE NOT REINSTALLED THE CONNECTION. DAILY I HAVE BEEN CONTACTING THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES, THEIR SUPERVISORS.

                              I EVEN EMAILED MY PROBLEM TO THE NODAL OFFICER OF BIG TV. HE HAS ALSO NOT RESPONDED.

                              REALLY THE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE IS VERY VERY POOR. HOPE ANIL AMBANI LOOKS INTO THIS. I THINK ONLY HE CAN HELP ME.

                                I had taken reliance BIG TV connection through one of the dealer, with false information on the product.

                                Below is the list after registering a complaint as there was problem with the signal through customer care.

                                1.As soon as a complaint is registered, u are informed that INR.175.00 will be deducted on receipt of complaint (Not on rectification of the problem & they dont care if it is done or not)
                                2.Engineer comes to rectify - says even if he comes & goes without doing the job we will charged (as amount is deducted as soon as complaint is given).
                                3.Engineer does some monkey business, turns the dish left & right, says BOX-receiver is not working it has to be changed - INR.700.00 will be charged.
                                3.Reliance call the guys who come to rectify the problem as ENGINEER, i am really surprised on what basis they call them as engineers(No technical knowledge - they are local street electricians)

                                RESULT - PROBLEM STILL CONTINUES................
                                Additional to this i had just recharged INR.500.00 just 5days back.On inquiring for reversing of amount on cancellation of connection, customer care says - NO IDEA SIRJI - SORRY.

                                My suggestion to all the people who are existing customers or planning to buy BIG TV, please cancel i[censored] loose some amount now else this will make BIG WHOLE in your pockets & later people a BIG Nooooooooooo to BIIIIIIIIIIG Tvvvvvvvvv.

                                Worst Service - Raised the below complaint to customer care and waiting for the reply

                                Dear Sir,

                                My subscriber ID is[protected]

                                I have subscribed for 1 Year Plan, with Aditya and Jumbo English

                                My account is deducted with additional amount every month, so i asked customer care on 04/09/12 to know the detail, They asked me to recharge for 10 Rupees and Call back so that they will resume the service with aditya only and cancel the jumbo Pack.

                                So i Recharged for 10 Rupees and called them back for resume of services, and When i called back i came to know that additional 5 rupees is deducted every month for Tamil regional pack which was a surprise for me and so i asked them to forward the complaint to higher official, so i was connected to another person Rahiz-Team Leader

                                who told that 5 rupees was getting deducted every month in my account, and only today you came to know that information.

                                Then i asked to take this as complaint, but he refused to take it as a complaint.

                                For resuming the services he told to wait for 1 Hour it will resume service automatically. so i asked why they told to call back after recharging. he told it takes 1 Hour.

                                To confirm that what he told i called back again to customer service, and again i was connected through the customer care executive to the same team leader.

                                I asked him to resume the service, and again i was asked to recharge additional 45 rupees then only you can call again to cancel the jumbo English.

                                So i asked them why they didn't inform that I should recharge 45 Rupees earlier itself and why should i recharge for 1 year plan and again should i recharge every month for Tamil Regional pack.

                                He told that if you want to resume service recharge otherwise you can decide to cancel the DTH Service.

                                He does not know how to handle and speak with customer care and when i ask him to why i am getting different information every time i call.

                                Please take necessary action on this case immediately and let me know what should be done to resume services.

                                I there i find no action taken from your side I will Escalate this and take it over to Consumer Court.

                                  I made a complaint bearing No.[protected] about the BIG TV Connection on 8-9 Sept.2010 following the prescribed complaint procedure laid down by BIG TV. Although it has been mentioned that they will attend the complaint within 48 hours till date[protected] nobdy turnup. On contacting their local service centre at Pahthanamthitta I was told that although they received instruction to attend the complaint they are unable to attend the complaint unless set box is to be redeived from their head quarters and they are not able to give any firm date to get the set box. After taking a BIG TV Connection how long a customer can wait for their service people to set right the fault? It appears they are not serious to provide after sales service. Attention is needed from the concerned higher authorities to stream line their service centres all over India to keep up the name of the company and its product., failing which the reputation of the company and its product will automatically come down and people will go for other brands. Is somebody listening?

                                      Big Tv doesn't takes any action against Customer Complaints.
                                      I renewed my Reliance Big TV subscription on 21st October 2009 for 1 complete next year. However I came to know after 2 months, as they started deducting monthly. Then they told to recharge it once again. I recharged it once again and then was able to subscribe for 1 year plan. Now My issue is Reliance Big TV deducted 175 Rs from my account in November 09 and did not inform me till next 8 months. In November due to bad weather the signal was lost, I thought like 4 times earlier, once again their setup box has gone faulty and needs to be replaced. I called Big TV and intimated about it. They logged the complaint. Next Day early morning I woke up and checked & found it to be working fine. I immediately Customer Care and intimated that its working fine, please cancel the complaint, the executive told it’s done, however it was not done which I came to know after 1 day. After 1 day, I got a call from technician saying that your complaint was registered, so tell me your location, how can I reach to your house? I told him it was because of bad weather and its working fine now, there is no need to come. The technician never visited my house. And Big TV changed 175 Rs for technician in November and never thought to sms me, call me, suspend my services so that I can come to know about my subscription. I had 1 year annual plan and due to that I did not check the account and thought to renew it in last month when it would be expiring. I came to know about my account balance going in Negative from November when I faced the issue in July 2010 after they upgraded their software and once again their setup box gone faulty. Then I logged complaint of refund of my 175 Rs on 13th July, logged by Deepika Gill. Complaint No.[protected]. They asked 48 hour’s time frame so that they can fetch the details whether technician visited my house or not. From then I am calling them daily to find out the Status and they only say one line "wait kar lijiye, hum jald se jald isse resolve karwane ki koshish karenge." On 18th July I called and as was getting the same line wait kar lijeye from executives, asked for Floor Supervisor, Sudhesh came and told it will be done in next 24 hours. Then on 25th July I called up, Rekha S disconnected my call. Again I called up Amit Kumar transferred to Rekha Singh (Floor TL), she transferred to Rekha Patiyal (Team leader) and she only said One line "wait kar lijiye, hum isse forward kar denge" and she did not said a single line apart from that in 30 minutes as if some IVR is speaking and in last she disconnected. Once again I called then Jyoti Chawla transferred to Parminder kaur and then to Preet Mehta (TL) who without checking the account came on phone and started saying aap wait kar lijeye. All Team Leaders at this moment started disconnecting the call because they have no response that why we have deducted 175 Rs in November and why it wasn't informed. And moreover they were telling that we have no records as well, neither with us nor with the concerned department. On 26 July I called once again, Chetan (executive) refused to provide full name. He transferred to Jyoti chawla (FTL) and she disconnected the call. Then again called and Govind picked up, he transferred to Rajni Kumar (FTL) and she transferred to Vicky Rana (TL) and he straight away told that 175 Rs will not be refunded. He also said he is not able to find out the details of November month as the concerned team doesn't have it and if they will have it, it will take time to find out. I would like to ask who gave the permission to Vicky Rana (TL) to say to customer with that confidence that his money will not be refunded, when its deducted without any reason. Now they say that how can we take out details of 8 months old. He was not having any answer, then he told he is arranging a callback, I told him I don't believe you, you all are liars, provided the landline number. As I was on the call for more than 1 hour, he wished me to disconnect the call so he arranged the callback from Rakesh Kumar on my landline, he told after 13 days that I will take initiative and give me at least 2 more days. I still asked how many days they require to find out the details whether technician visited my house and checked Setup Box or made any changes in the dish or not. After lot of harassment I am writing this complaint so that someone else who is going to purchase Big Tv comes to know about reality what is going to happen with him. . I would only like to ask Reliance that how much time they will require to refund my 175 Rs? . Reliance has started duping people by supplying 2nd hand setup boxes and once the warranty i.e., 1 year completes they starts charging 175 for technician for visiting and 800 for old setup repaired box. If after 15 days it again stops working the same amount the customer has to pay. It means the price customer paid for new setup box doesn't comes under warranty and he is supplied with repaired setup box with no warranty and the old setup box the technician takes away, what for? When we are already paying for services, why 175 and 800 are being charged from us when we have not made anything wrong to their cheap devices. Reliance knows the quality of setup boxes, I will recommend you never give a single penny to Reliance as they are the biggest beggars who have started deducting money anytime without informing you, will harass you and their Cust Care is like that you would be speaking with Rickshaw Walla who doesn't know anything. No Responsibility initiative is being taken by Team Leaders as well. I will agree they do have toll free number, however try calling them 5 times continuously and trust me you will listen 5 new things from 5 new executives. Their policies will contradict with each other and you will come to know yourself that ki aapko wo sirf topi pehnane ke lie bithye hue hain....My name is Ajay Kumar. I have been using Reliance from last 2 years. And this is my last year....and will never ever spend a single penny on Reliance in my lifetime even if they will provide free subscription and free service still I will deny them because I know they will anytime dupe me......Each and Every word written is true. It happened with me i.e., I don't want it to be happened with anyone Else. I live in New Delhi (Capital of India) where their service is pathetic, so you can imagine their service anywhere else. Spend in that company which is providing you at least good product which will last for at least 5 to 6 years. However will Reliance you will need technician to replace setup box after every 3 to 4 months guaranteed. My phone number is [protected]. Contact me still before purchasing Big TV. I will tell you lot about them...I have made a diary after calling them so many times. My Big TV Smart Card Number is[protected]. I would like to recommend Reliance one thing, stop the Toll Free Number.                                         I have purchased the BIG TV from Neelam Cycles (prop name is Mr. Rajesh) on 25/08/2008 and the BIG TV was installed and activated on 27/08/2008 by your engineers. I have recharged the Rs. 500 on 28/08/2008 at 10:30 PM.

                                        The BIG TV was not working from 21/09/2008 (09.00 AM) (not completed one month also) after the power off - ONLY RED SCREEN IS APPEARING.

                                        I have given a complaint to your customer care center no.[protected] on the same day at 06.54 pm and they have given the complaint number[protected] and told me that the problem will be resolved within four (4) hours, but it is not rectified in time, again i have called up to the customer care center on 22/09/08 again they said it will be resolved by today (22/09/08) evening again i have called up in the same day evening they told me it will take 48 hours.

                                        On the next day (23/09/2008) I have called up again one lady told me that the problem will be rectified online and the problem rectified through online, but it is not rectified. Again I have called up in the same day night at 10.00 pm (23/09/2008) one guy attended the call and he told me that the BIG TV Engineer will come with in 48 hours and rectified the problem and the complaint number is 76512795.

                                        After that every day I have called up to BIG TV customer care center and they told only one thing "DUE TO TECHNICAL REASONS THE PROBLEM WAS NOT SOLVED, AGAIN I AM SENDING THE MAIL TO MY SUPERIOR, THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED BY TOMORROW"

                                        Yesterday (28/09/2008) also one lady received a call and told me that I am forwarding the mail to my manager and he will react it and the problem will be solved by tomorrow.


                                        The response of the some of the Call Center employees is very bad.

                                        Reliance Big TV — No connexion

                                        I paid for a new connection on 11 May 2010 to a local agent (Athirampuzha) of Reliance Big TV connection. They were demanding that if I could pay the money before 10 am that day I could be given the connection that day itself. But almost 5 days passed without any progress. When I contacted to your office, from where I had a call to enqire if I got connection on 11 May, they said the set top box had not reached. But on Wedensday they said the box had been arrived and that they would be give the connection that day itself. But nothing happened. Then on friday they said I would be given connection no matter it may be. But nothing happened. The phone number from where I had the call is +91.938.873.1737.

                                        I mailed to your customer care two days ago, and they promised to contact me in 24 hours. But nothing happened.

                                        Everytime they promise that the connection would be given a day, I take off from duty for leave the office early. Now I am fed up with them

                                        Reliance Big TV — Flat In Set top box

                                        Dear Sir / Madam
                                        This is to inform you that i longed a complaint by the customer care number [protected] against the technical problem in my set top box on around 8th of may 2010,the complaint no. is[protected].The costumer care told me that recharge your card after that we accept your complaint. I recharge by Rs 220 as my plan after it customer care executive assure me to solve my problem within 48 hours but till data no body come to replace my set top box, again and again they told me that there is no set top box in the company. I am losing my money and also facing mental harassment by your end.How can it possible that there is no set top boxes available in such a big company.I have a very bad experience about the company

                                        I am resident of alwal. On 31 march two persons name, Rakesh and Naresh came home and offered reliance Big tv dth for Rs 2980 and and took the cheque on syndicate bank and till now no response.
