I am a reliance gsm customer . I want activate gprs. when I sent a message <ALL> to 5100 the reply of message says that Dear customer your handset information not present in database

R/Sir,

We have purchased a Reliance GSM Sim before 3 month .My GSM NO. is [protected] and this number not detect any network on 19/06/09 at 12:05 Pm., so I unable to make call on any phone.
So i request to you solve this problem as soon as posible.

I Recharge my Reliance GSM on STD 250 plane, The pnale is that the call rate will be @25 paisa minute from Reliance to Reliance STD at 11 P.M to 6 A.M and @90 Paisa after 6 A.M, But i can not make any call by using this STD code which is 1802206 and then follow the mobile no with STD code, after 20 to 25 times dialling i got connection after 6 A.M only.But i can't after 11 P.M the Network busy every night, I should not make call after 11 P.M, What can i do now. i alredy two times complain to Reliance customer care and the complain no are[protected] and[protected]. Again i call to customer care and told him aout our problem
but they said your problem have been solved as per our record. But my problem is still same and the plane of STD is that the validity of the balance is only for 30 days. After 30 days your remaining STD balance will be deducted. Now what can do, Please try to solve my problem as soon as possibul

Reliance GSM — Poor Connectivity, Call drops, Network bussy after 11 AM

I have taken my Reliance GSM service for a month, from the day of connection to till today I am facing the same problem, Reliance in kolkata poorest service. Reliance have no network or call drop became common to me. Reliance have good offer of 11PM-6 AM 5 paisa per call, but there is no hope I got a call after trying 12 times, even if it's urgent after 11PM you reliance is hopeless. I had a fever and have to call my friends for the help, but reliance so much helpless that showing network busy. I have called their customer care, but they are hopeless, always telling we are developing our service or temporary congestion...

Whenever i reply to any message coming from reliance gsm Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, +0 is added to number and it makes it unable to send message. It remains in the Outbox and gets failed.
Its so irritating.

my name is ravi ahirwar from bhopal.i am a reliance gsm prepaid customer.i have been using a gsm sim of reliance ([protected]) for 2 years. i want to change my prepaid connection to postpaid connection but i when i went to nearest r-world & filed a petition for postpaid connetion so they told that "you are not a owner of this number, this number is registered to another person and you can't change it." but actually i submitted my id & address proof at the time of buying.i met retailer and asked him about my this problem but he said to me that "this is not my fault actually this is the fault of company, you have to go to company." i have been there lots of time. i don't know how to change my connection please help me to get rid of this problem.

Reliance Landline — Poor customer service

I am using reliance broadband and reliance landline services for the last 3 years at various places around India.

I received reliance landlines bill for the last month. I used to pay bills regularly through one of its agent which comes to my house every month, but this month he did not turn up. After that I started getting annoying call from the local office ( from the lady named Jenifer I think). I told her my problem and requested her to send somebody to collect the payment. She told me that she will not and I have to pay the bills at a place which is 10 km away from my place. This continued for some time. I got annoyed and then I said please send somebody for this time and I now want to disconnect my connection as I did not expected such type of service and disrespect for customer from Anil Dhirubhai Ambani's company. She told me that OK disconnect the connection and it doesnt matter to her but first I have to pay the bill, as if I am not going to. She also said that after paying for the bill she will cut the connection herself . She even does not care to convince me to keep the connection, which I may have but now I am not going to.

Now, please let me know if I made a mistake on expecting better services from a company who portray itself to be a company of common man.

Sir, we never expected that type of poor services from Reliance Communication. As we know that under Comman Charter of “Telecom Regulatory Authority of India” para No.9 the service provider is agree to repair the fault within 24 hours of receipt of complaint from a subscriber.
Sir, if the problem is not solved within 48 hours we will surrender our telephone without paying any outsandig dues and will go to “ TRAI “ ( Telecome Regulatory Authority of India) and Consumer Court for justice.

My phone is not working from last 3 days

I totally agree. Their service is absolutely poor. I hold a land line [protected]. And in September 09 they barred my outgoing calls stating that in July I had issued a cheque of Corporation Bank for 944 which was dishonored. I pleaded with the centre and stated that I have no account with Corporation Bank and had not issued that cheque; and that the following month there was no amount shown as outstanding in my bill . Stupidly, the centre person asked me again to go to that bank and verify my account. I wrote to the Nodal officer, which their site says is one Mr. Tilak Chatterjee along with the bill copies who does not bother even to acknowledge that complaint, let alone look into it.

My land line set is not working properly.There is a problem in the receiver. We are not able to talk while talking suddenly the voice call ends and many a times the call continues but we are not able to hear the voice. I have been suffering this problem since last one year. I have complaint about my problem many times to my near customer care center but no one responded. I have asked them to change my land-line set a number .They came two three times and replaced the receiver wire with an old and used one which lasted only for a week or so, they also replaced our battery which was already used and was local.

Reliance Landline — Phone not working for last 3 days

My phone #[protected] is not working for last 3 days, no redressal however.

One of the worst service provider and customer care is Reliance. They never listen to our complaints and never turn up to solve the issue.
We are having a land-line and it is not working for more than 3 months. We are registering it with customer care and getting only complaint no without any solution. Final when i went to the nodal officer he told us that they cannot provide service in that area (actually our office is located in a business area) i was stunned and speech less(they are not ready to give it in writing) and i requested hI'm to offer us a solution because i couldn't change my number as it is office no. But still I'm running behind them for a solution.Kindly advice on this

Again the phone has gone dead yesterday ie 15/03/2012. It happens twice or thrice a year and no quick remedy.

I am a very old customer of yours and I am using your service since 5years. I am facing a problem with the landline hand set since 1 and a half year . My set is having a battery and charging problem, once or twice the charger has been changed, Twice the battery has been changed, the set has been taken for repair three times and kept for about one month each but even this hasn't solved the problem. I went to reliance world in tollygunge but they did not help either. Finally to inform you that I am paying you from the past 6 months without even being able to use the service. I have even requested to change the instrument but was said that there is no set in stock, which makes me fail to believe that such a big communication company does not have instruments in stock since 1year even when a customer is ready to pay for the same.
I would therefore request you to take an immediate step and oblige.

I had visited the Reliance communication office SCO 135-136, Sector-9A, Chandigarh many times in this regards where I was assured that bills won't deduct after my termination. Why are you torturing me in this manner. This phone was an employee plan I had. If you treat your employees in this manner, what can a general Indian customer expect from you.

I called the customer care who replied they can't register this complaint as the number is terminated. If you cannot register this complaint, what right you have to bill me for no services. I request the concerned authority to take necessary action and arrange for the Original Bill ( as agreed with Mr.Manish )at the earliest

I bought a reliance net connect broad band conncection. I have been given commitments that the activation will be done within 24 hours. It is nore than 7 days, I am following up for activation. For the above reliance service, I have not t received any bill, on my address in your records, from reliance for the past several months. Hence I have not paid my monthly dues. Now the above service has been disconnected and your service centre wants me to pay the bills before my services is activated. My current outstanding is Rs. 777/- for past two months+ Rs. 300 by the time this complain is addressed. I have called your service centre at 30333333 several times to register a complain on this. But reliance service centre representatives have managed to give me a excuse and have not registered my complain.

• Excuse 1 – you have dialed the wrong number.
• Excuse 2 – This is the pre-paid section you need to call post paid.
• Excuse 3 – The systems are down for maintenance.
• Excuse 4 – Systems are down due to technical problems, call after 30 minutes.
• Excuse 5 – I am a trainee, my senior is on the other line, pl. hold. After long holds listening to the monotonous music one has no option but to hang-up the phone and start all over again.

This is not the first time that this has happened to most o[censored]s who have a reliance service. In the background you can hear some supervisor shouting, hurry-up, there are a lot of calls on hold…. Transfer the call, put the customer on hold and take the next call.

Kindly look into this matter. I am surely not paying for the services that I have not used because Reliance has disconnected the line, but continue to bill the customers (another practice of Reliance that most of the customer have experienced.).

Once again, I have NOT received a bill from Reliance for the month of January. I am not sure who I should be addressing this emails as I feel I am not getting the right audience / management attention.

Yesterday, Thursday January 229, 2009, at about 7:40pm I visited the “Bajirao - Reliance World Centre (Webworld).” To my surprise the doors and shutters were closed. The security guard informed me that the centre closes at 7:30pm. I pointed out that the store hours displayed outside the store were from 10:am to 8:00pm. I asked him to call the manager on duty. Reluctantly, he opened the doors. Once again I stepped up to the Customer Care Counter where once again I got the same excuse… Our Systems are down, come tomorrow morning. Once again I requested that I get this in writing and insisted to talk to the Manager. One again the manager refused to come out and face the issues. Your representative finally agreed to take a note of the matter and agreed to send an email to the concerned management team. He then confessed, “yes we have your complain but what can we do, we are only authorized to take note of your problem statement…the team that does this work is probably somewhere else… and the bosses who manage this process are probably in bed by this time…” Not that any of this surprised me, but I insisted some feedback in writing as I wanted to create a document trail for my records and so I got a copy of the email that was sent out.

Later I was also informed that if I did not make the payment in a few days, my services to this number would be terminated / de-associate and that I would lose the number. Not that I am very attached to the number or that I would lose any sleep if the services were terminated, I informed the representative that I was more interested in finding out what it takes to resolve a query / problem at Reliance. It’s been three months and I am still counting…

Not that any of you are interested in any of the above… I am hoping someone at the top would be concerned about customer service.

Thank you for sending the bill. I have never disputed the usage of the services. The question is that the services were disconnected by reliance due to non-payment. Non-payment was due to not receiving the bill. If you have sent the bill and someone has received it, you need to track and see where the bills are going. I have not been receiving the bill since October. I have made prior payments and am sure that that is reflected in your database.

Since the disconnection of my services without notice / intimation / etc. I am not liable to pay for the services not rendered to me. Needless to say that after the disconnection (around mid October) my usage of your services was not possible.

I am also shocked by the fact that while all this is going on, I was informed by Reliance that my number would be deactivated in February.


As this is going on for long and Reliance has not been able to still sere me a copy of the bill to my address, I am left with no option but to take further course of action, i.e. file a complain with the representative department(s).

I am having RELIANCE SMART PREPAID connection from last 7 Years. Service is not up to the mark.Customer care service is very poor and so called customer care executives are not at all responsive towards complaints.Recently without my permission my caller tune has been changed and a vulgar caller tune has been activated.On calling[protected] the customer care executives are not even ready to listen to what happens to be a SERIOUS PROBLEM. As soon as number portability is open i an going to switch services from reliance to Airtel or Vodafone and if the attitude of the employees does not change Reliance standa to lose a large number of customers.

Reliance Prepaid Connection 'Smart' — All services are barred

I am reliance Smart pre-paid consumer. The connection of mobile No. [protected] was taken on 12.11.2009. All the required documents i.e. xeroxed copy of I.Card issued by Income Tax Tribunal (Govt. of India) and PAN Card has been submitted on the same day. Alternate mobile no. [protected] has been mentioned on the form submitted for connection but all services of outgoing and incoming etc. are barred without any intimatiion neither telephone nor written whereas my alternative mobile no. is mentioned in the format. I enquired from the retailer about documents, he told, after confirmation from distributor, that the dully filled up application form for connection a/w required documets has been sent to reliance co.

I have a smart connection [protected]. I have rechaged it with a 1000 rupees coupon. My balance is still there around 250 rupees but my card is no more active. I want tro know the reason.

I have a smart connection [protected] since last 2 years. Suddenly from last 4-5-2009, no call but a sms from the service provider came that my incoming and outgoing has barred.I recharged my no with rs48 and soon validity showed upto 2015.But unfortunately Icould not get services.I contacted with costomer care to know the reason and advised to produce the documents.But when I produced the same at Berhampur distributor's offfice they told that document mismatches and I could not know how it happens..How shall I continue with my no.?
After using of nearly 2 years sudden cutoff from service gives me lots of problems..Is it the proper services to the two year old customer?What shall I do now?
