Need your immediate attention to resolve the follow issues
1. Provide refund of rs.2000/- which i paid against the bill for period :[protected] to[protected]
2. Provide refund of rs.1149/- which i paid against the bill for period :[protected] to[protected]
3. Provide my data usage detailed records from[protected] to termination-date (15-oct-2016), specifying the ip addresses and mac address, start time and end time, and data consumed in each session.
4. Confirmation that bills generated for bill period[protected] to[protected] need not be paid.
5. Provide copy of email that was sent to me regarding change in tariff plan.

Here is the list of complaint ids raised till date:
1. Complaint id[protected] for over-billing inspite of no usage of data. I had asked explicitly in the complaint that as there is no data-usage due to no network availability, rs 3082/- cannot be charged; and rs 2000/- which had been paid to reliance should be refunded back to me immediately. Raised on 9th sep
2. Complaint id[protected] for no network. Raised on 9th sep
3. Termination request (Id[protected]. Raised on 9th oct
4. Hard-limit flag of 3gb did not work due to some technical failure (Refer complaint id[protected]. Raised on 13th oct



This is with regards to below-mentioned issues (1 to 3) with services provided by reliance communications ltd (Henceforth referred to as reliance) for past few months, for the reliance number [protected], which was for post-paid data only (Under tariff plan: ncpluspro3_999_40gb, which was subsequently changed to 4g_700_3gb).
No network coverage
Change over to higher tariff without any intimation to subscriber
Over-billing in spite of no usage
I am forced to reach out to you with this lengthy email detailing my experiences since july-2016, highlighting the pain points, challenges with service center executives and the chain of events till date.

Since july-2016, the upload/download speed for my aforesaid reliance connection has been zero on most days or just unbearable low for a day or two in a month. Due to this i had to take a new sim with another isp since aug-2016. During month of july, i called the reliance customer care multiple times to complain about the abysmally low speed. When ever i had called customer care they insisted that the network is good and the problem seems to be with the pro3 data card that i was using. The executives asked me to visit the nearest reliance service center for checking the data-card, but did not register a complaint. On visiting the reliance center provided by agents, even they were not able to access the reliance network through any (Mine and their own) reliance datacard. The reliance employees in the center informed me that there was a network outage for reliance in tamil nadu for last couple of days (Totally contradicting what the call center executive had said over the phone) and asked me to come back after 2 days. After two days when i again visited the same reliance center (Still no network available), i saw that they were trying to access reliance servers using idea data card. Idea network was working but the reliance servers itself were not reachable. Needless to say the issue was still not resolved on that day. Later, i made 2 more visit to the same reliance service center on different days but found the shop closed. During my last visit, i saw one of the reliance service center employee in a tea shop few shops away from the reliance service center. When i checked with him about the status of my complaint, he said that the network problem still persists and asked me to come back again after a few days. Due to consistent network outage the reliance service center employee had to put the shutter down as they were not able to resolve problems for any customer who were coming to the shop. Whenever i had visited the reliance service center, there used to be so many customers there with the very same problem.

Frustrated with the response, i again called the customer care a few times and spoke to different customer care executives and explained them the issue. This time the customer care executives were suggesting me to "upgrade to 4g" and assured me that if i switched to 4g, the connection will be working fine. I did not trust the customer care executives given my past experiences and wanted a confirmation that 4g will work fine and that there will not be any increase in my monthly bill amount when switching from my current plan (Ncpluspro3_999_40gb) to 4g plan. I was skeptical about this as the tariff name has pro3 embedded in it, and had called customer care three times asking the agents to send across an email that there is no change in tariff, but they insisted that they can't send an email and were giving verbal assurances of no change in tariff and told me that the conversations were recorded.in goodfaith, i agreed to the offer.

In aug-2016, i got a new reliance 4g sim (It's not a data dongle unlike pro3) and i had to spend additionally to buy a new data dongle for it. However, to my surprise, there was no reliance 4g network. Meanwhile i had started using 4g services from another service provider from aug 2016 itself and was very happy with their services.

In sep-2016, i got a whopping bill of rs. 3082/- for bill period[protected] to[protected]. Shocked is an understatement, as i had been paying 1149/- per month under the ncpluspro3_999_40gb tariff. The bill also shows that there was a forced change in tariff plan without my explicit consent. And accordingly to reliance, as per the new tariff plan (4g_700_3gb), there is a usage limit of 3gb per month. And further, since i apparently exceeded this limit, the subsequent usages got billed at higher rate, giving a net-total of rs 3082/-. This was inspite the fact that i had not been using the 4g service at all. I had set up auto debit on my bank account for reliance bill payments with a max debit limit of 2000/-, this resulted in debit of 2000/- instead of 3082/-. And i started getting calls and email from reliance to pay for the balance 1082/-. I called up customer care, who now are saying that no such assurances of tariff remaining same were given. When asked why there was no intimation given through either sms, phone or email during or after the tariff was changed, the agent informed that an email had been sent. Please note that no such email was ever sent by reliance. I have only been receiving the monthly bills through emails.

On 9th sep 2016, for the first time reliance customer care registered two complaints:
Complaint id[protected] for over-billing inspite of no usage of data. I had asked explicitly in the complaint that as there is no data-usage due to no network availability, rs 3082/- cannot be charged; and rs 2000/- which had been paid to reliance should be refunded back to me immediately.

While taking down the complaint, the agent mentioned that lot of customers have got billed higher amounts due to change in tariff plan and hence a flag has been enabled so that after 3gb hard-limit usage there will no more downloads possible. I was told that the next bills will not be more than 834/- as per the new forced tariff 4g_700_3gb.

I was very much surprised that both the complaints were closed without resolving the issue and without confirming with me.
With regards to complaint id[protected], out of rs 3082/- ; only 1053/- was waived off. Which means 2000/- has not been refunded till date. And the complaint has been closed.
With regards to complaint id[protected], the connection worked for a day, but i could not use it from the next day for the remainder of the month since there was no network coverage. I am less inclined to even check if reliance network is working everyday, as i have started using another internet connection from a reputed isp.
I would like to further inform you that i am not happy with the resolution of the complaint id[protected] and subsequent calls to agents were not fruitful as they said that the issue has been closed and nothing more can be done from their side. Rs 2000/- is yet to be refunded by reliance. The customer care executive turned down my request to connect me to their supervisors on every occasion.

Totally frustrated with the service of reliance, i called the customer case to terminate my reliance connection. But unbelievably the customer care executives started using different stalling/delaying tactics so as to prolong the process of termination of the connection. Some customer care executives would suggest to go for lower tariff. Few customer care executives infact terminated my call mid way while i was talking. One customer care executive looking at my complaint history said he will give me a 25% discount on my previous bills. Can you believe it, discount for something that i have not used in first place!!! Another customer care executive just cut the call saying there is phone disturbance and he cannot hear me properly, asking me to call back again. At-least he gave an excuse before terminating. One executive was just rude, saying that i am giving excuses for not paying the outstanding dues and because of that he will not take my termination request. After about 20 days where in 10 call attempts were made for termination, i was able to register a termination request (Id[protected] on 9th oct.

On 13-oct-2016, i had called again to check the termination status but got another shock that an amount of rs.2356/- is outstanding. Apparently as per reliance, my usage again had crossed 3gb and as per the customer care executive, the hard-limit flag of 3gb did not work due to some technical failure (Refer complaint id[protected]. I am again pointing out that i have been consistently using data from another isp since aug-2016 and they provide good network speed. Given this, i am not inclined to even check if reliance network is working everyday. Furthermore, i rarely even plug in reliance 4g sim to any laptop; my data consumption of over 3gb on reliance network for two months is impossible. If reliance has evidence to prove other wise, i request you to provide me the usage details along with the mac details, ip details, start time and end time, and data consumed in each session.

Few years back i had stared using the reliance network and the service was good. But based on my recent experience since july-2016 i can only sadly say that i cannot continue with reliance services any more with over-billing when there is no network.

Since i have filed multiple complaints and these have not been resolved till date, i am forced to escalate this to the nodal officer. I need your immediate attention to resolve the follow issues within the trai specified sla.
Provide refund of rs.2000/- which i paid against the bill for period :[protected] to[protected]
Provide refund of rs.1149/- which i paid against the bill for period :[protected] to[protected]
Provide my data usage detailed records from[protected] to termination-date, specifying the ip addresses and mac address, start time and end time, and data consumed in each session.
Confirmation that bills generated for bill period[protected] to[protected] need not be paid.
Provide copy of email that was sent to me regarding change in tariff plan.

          I have made one local mobile call to no.[protected] on 1/6/2017 at 5.13pm and deducted amount rs.100/- from my account, in this regard i have contacted to customer care no 198 so many two days ie 01/6/2017 and 02/6/2017 it is informed by your employee that, you have made isd call so the amount is deducted but i have not made any isd calls using "00" code because the said number is belong to my friend and the said number is stored in my mobile, it is highly impossible to us "00" isd code it is purely net work problem, hence pl refund rs.99.80ps deducting one call charges 20ps.

            Myself Paritosh Mishra, I am using Reliance postpaid number - [protected] since January 2017. The number is of Delhi NCR region. Yesterday I moved to Bangalore due to change of job location. When I exited Delhi, my number stopped showing any network whatsoever and the worst part is there is still no network available in Bangalore on my sim. I have tried everything but failed. Also tried contacting customer care from my other number but no success there.
            Please help me with this problem as I am using this number for last 7 years and it is linked with my all legal and official contacts. Reply as soon as possible. Thank you.

              I just ported my sim to reliance from siegel hoping some good derive would be provided but my outgoing calls have been barred due to non verification of details. But i don't understand why i can't make a call even to customer care where i can resolve my queries and the problem is because of the fault made by retailer.                 agar istarah chalta raha to mai port out kara lunga aap ke customer care excutive 24 ghante se jayada ho jane par waiver pass nahi karte hai aur kahte hai ki 24 ghante se jayada ho gaya hai is liya hai paisa wapish nahi kar sakte hai but mera jab customer care mai call lage ga to hi to mai call karunga customar care mai 198 aur 1909 par mera 3 mahine se call nahi lag raha hai kal ke tarikh me bhi mera 1 rupees kat liya gaya hai aur 28 may anur 30 may ko bhi 3-3 rupees kat liya gaya hai plz help me mera 198 aur 1909 par call activate kara dijiya aur mera waiver pass kar dijiya agar 24 ghanta pura ho jaye ga to mera 1 rupees aur 3 rupees nahi melega thanks u

                  Dear sir/madam,

                  I vidhi n. Mehta your customer with the mobile number [protected] has been extremely disappointed by your service. As per the message received for the special offer with regards to data pack worth rs.93, the company has failed to provide me with necessary information which has caused me a major monetary loss. As per the special offer, i recharged my account with rs.93. Post 12 am, i was been charged my data usage. On complaining to the customer care, i was informed that data pack would not be valid for 12 am-4 am at night. Such negligence on part of the company has caused me a major balance deduction from rs.190 to rs.3. It was the duty of the company to intimate the customers about it once the scheme is activated.
                  Extremely disappointed by such deductions. Looking forward for a major action to be taken by the company in this regards.

                      I have applied for mobile number portability and port done massage received on 3 june 2017, to insert sim and dial 59059 but network now show. I have meet your two store and the people check and say to sim number changed and we are help less to help me. He told that meet the guy where you have buy the sim.

                          Dear team,

                          I have requested for closure of the 3g dongle (No.: [protected]), as reliance is mandated to upgrade to 4g with new instrument, which i need to pay again and 3g which purchased from them will be replaced. Closure request has been given in chennai, west tambaram reliance store. They have not provided any confirmation on closure (In july-2016, for this i had visited thrice first time they told their entire system is down they will not do anything, second time they told to contact customer care, third time only they accepted the closure request without acknowledgement) as they told will be receiving sms confirmation after the customer care call on reason for closing. I told customer care also to close my connection. Till this i was in rs. 688 plan including tax.

                          I have paid bill till july end.in sep-2016 for august bill they have asked to pay rs.2080, they told they are calling from customer care and sent only the summary through mail, did not provide any details. I have asked for breakup details, they did not provide.

                          Later in jan they sent sms saying legal action will be taken please pay the amount and asked to contact some lawyer, discussed with them and they asked to pay rs.630 through online on 7th jan-2017, they told they will close this issue. I paid on the same day and sent the receipt to that lawyer and customer care.

                          Payment details are,

                          Now reliance communication team is saying not paid the amount rs.830. And some one called and he is threatening he will go to court (He told his name as gautam with mobile number [protected]) where i need to pay around 8000 to 9000 asked to go to reliance showroom and pay immediately, i told i have paid rs.630 through online, he is not listening. I told i am in work and i may not be able to go to reliance store and even the store is not responding to any queries.

                          I will send relevant communication mails related to this issue. I am unable to attach here.

When i take mobile connection reliance says unlimited voice calls are free, unlimited ms free 3gb data 4g. So i don’t use any data no more calls because your network problem.                                 Hi,

                                This is regarding disconnection.

                                I bought corporate post paid connection with wipad device and used it for 1-2 months due to network coverage issues I discontinued using the device after 2-3 months got bill details to be paid for 1000 INR. I delayed it hence got call from an Advocate and paid it immediatly as soon as I completed my payments I sent an email to confirm my payments and to disconnect my connection since I already stopped using it. But I did not get any response for my email. I waited and followed up the email again I did not get any response.
                                Later again there was bill generation and started getting calls as of now I got more than 100 calls and fed up with responding to all calls with same answer that is "I sent email to discontinue connection please do it and check my emails" ..
                                Can you please please terminate connection and stop calling me.

                                  I am paras nath yadav. Last month 28 may 2017 i took new reliance pre-paid sim card connection. But, as per communication with madam mala from rohini reliance store.                                     I am very disappointed with reliance store and the customer service. I recently visited 2 reliance stores in chembur and sion and both the reliance store didn't have sim card available l for over 10 days. I had requested for 3g sim card and both had no information of when the sim cards would be available. This is very frustrating for the customers. Par mere recharge karane ke baad 1gb one month ke liye show kar raha hai. Sir kia ye msg fake that please help me custmercare num par many tlme complain kar chuki hu lekin koi solution nahi mila. Every time koi maya executive hota hai wo complain sunte hai large much nahi.

                                        About 3 months back the sim request for deactivation was made by phone to their customer care, and i paid full amount due as on that day.
                                        After two months i keep on getting call your bills are not paid and the sim is active. And i keep on telling them that i have told them to deactivate and i have settled as on that day, why bills are raised.
