I bought Titan watch from Shoppers Stop (Prozone Mall) Aurangabad MH and due to manufacturing problems (twice) the watch has been with the stores from last 1 month. I am not satisfied with the product and the type of after sales service the store is providing. I want my full refund.

Bought TITAN (Octane series) watch, model no: NA9308KM02 on 22nd November 2012 for Rs 7100/-
After wearing it for 4-5 hours (within a week) the plating started to fade and a mechanical (timer hands of chronograph) related problem appeared
On 26th November 2012 I went to Shoppers Stop and they told me that it may be due to perfume used by me (which I didn't) there was problem in the plating, but they would still replace it. I insisted that I don't need this model, so please get it replaced. But they still provided me with the same model. I told them that it will have the same problem and asked them what will they do if it happens again? They said that it was a rare problem and this would not happen again, but if it does, the watch will be sent to service center and will take 15days
Same problem appeared with the second watch and I told them to replace or get me a refund on 28th November 2012. They again suggested that it can be due to the perfume I may have used (which I didn't) but they will send it to service station to get it checked and I will be updated regarding the same within 15 days
By the time I contacted Titan corporate office (as Titan website don't have details in the contact us tab) regarding the problem and requested a refund. Ramesh from Titan customer service responded me that they will get back to me soon and provided contact personals in Bangalore to get my problem solved. I contacted Bangalore personals but no one replied to my email
No one updated me about the status of the watch even after 15 days so I personally went to the stores and requested for the status. When I didn't get any concrete response, I asked for the store manager (Mr. Mujheb Khan) and he came to review my problem. Who is the most unprofessional person I ever met. While communication with Mr. Khan I was continuously projected as guilty of the whole situation and told that they did me a favor twice by replacing. I reminded him that it was in warranty and it's something company should stand by, not as a favor, but as a service. But he constantly referred it as a favor and talked in a kind of a rude way (not a way a customer should be treated). He then increased the service time needed to 21 days from 15 days. After insisting for a refund and due to some personal calls we received from a Titan personal (Mr. Vishal Titan customer care from Pune) he gave me an option to select a different brand (other then Titan). I selected a different model (Fossil) and was told that they will get back to me once they get a official confirmation about the service.
Later recently I received a call and was told that I have to select any other watch from stores. So I went to the stores and asked for the Fossil watch I selected but was told that it was not their and they didn't receive any orders to keep the watch aside for me. Frustrated I went to the stores and asked for a full and final full refund and asked for Mr. Khan. Mr. Khan again changed and told me that I now have to select any watch from Titan only.

At the first place, I am frustrated by the type of product Titan provided and on top of that I really feel offended by the type of after sales service Titan and Shoppers Stop are providing me as a customer. I would have happily selected any other watch, instead of cash, before. But after having the first hand experience of type of after sales service provided I don't want to keep any of the watch or its service related to Titan or Shoppers Stop.

Hand watch — Still i didn't get product

    Delaying the delivery of exchg product with reason saying Address is unable to locate

    I totally regret to say that service that i had from online shopperstop is very very disappointing.
    if you trail my mail down you will realised that it is not the first time i have this bad experience.
    coming to what made me feel bad First: Order #: 3712649 - I had purchase Zod shirt on 2012/09/29 and was delivery little late which is fine as other product which was ordered wasn't in their inventory causing delay for this product to ship but when i realised that size is an issue and requested to have exchange for Medium size... initially customer support informed that she has raised request on my behalf but after a week when i had to follow-up realised request was not raised for exchange so it was raised on my second follow-up call.

    I also read on portal that exchange is possible if i visit nearby store even if i purchase thru online shopping which is totally wrong because when i visited SS @ Juhu they denied to provide any such services... please keep policy same across and publish which is feasible

    Now during this incident i raise another product i.e Order #3756457 on 2012/10/23
    This was delieveried as usual late than what expected

    Now i am repeatedly getting sms saying that for my order regarding exchange is shipment (tracking #: [protected]) but is pending with them due to consignee not available or premises closed which is utterly wrong...can accept for first visit but all other visit are illogical

    Reason 1: when i called customer support they informed product was not delivered as person was not available - Agree as it was the case

    On second visit i had my family member 24/7 at home and had no package received although i had sms saying premises closed

    then i had 2 more times same message saying premises closed etc etc...

    Now when i call they keep saying unable to locate my address and need more landmark information.... HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO LOCATE MY PLACE FOR ALL OTHER ORDERS ON COD MADE TILL DATE.....

    PLEASE CHANGE COURIER SERVICE IF YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT..... WE PAY AND KEEP TRUST FOR SERVICE THAT WE RECEIVED....

    AND LASTLY REMEMBER CUSTOMER IS A PERSON WHO GIVES BUSINESS, IF IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN FREE OF COST AND THEN LOCATION WAS HARD TO FIND... IT WOULD NOT HAVE MATTER MUCH TO ME... BUT SINCE I PAID I NEED SERVICE.

      I left the job from shoppers stop on 3rd july 2012 and our HR promised me she would grant me my relieving letter after 2 months(3rd sept. 2012). I asked her for my relieving letter on after 20th sept. 2012 she promised me again she would send my document after 3-4 days. Again, when I had not got my document I called her and she was telling that she had sent it through first flight courier service and gave me consignment number. I asked courier office for my courier, they told me it was received through Punit(I don't know who is punit). I asked all around my colony that who is punit but there was no punit. I am still waiting for my letter. I don't know who is responsible for this problem.

        The Shop which I would not like to visit any more time as they don't value customer as per my experience at the perfume counter there were 2 executive who are senior where the uniform of brown trouser & beige shirt were not as the regular ones as they are in white & black. I was admiring both of them as 1 of them was attending a lady customer & other 1 who was tall & black in color was distracting the senior executive who was attending a lady customer where he was misbehaving with your executive he was distracting him from guiding the customer. You have placed camera's on all floors & every customer contact point kindly check the recording of 8 pm ground floor opposite Lakme counter I was standing there with my wife where we took Lakme product's a organisation like Shopper's Stop are keeping such employee's its quite strange.
        Kindly look in to this issue very seriously as your Brand name of your store is getting effected

        Shoppers Stop — trouser get holed

        Dear Sir,

        I purchase a trouser of INDIAN terrian company from SHOPPERS STOP, after a wash there was a hole occurs on thies of trouser, immdiately i inform shoppers stop about this, they put the trouser for observation for few days and then refuse my complaint. As per there officials it was not a manufacturing defect. I am not convensed with them.

          im john worked for my esteem organisation of shoppers stop for 2 years,on august 7th the deparment manger was so rude and treating us like us slaves.before him the environment was so friendly and we happy.MR DINESH the department manger put all the blames on shortage of stocks to the emplyoes this time ll the senior staff of shoppers stop resigned their job.i was thinking of my family problems stay in the same organisation.but everyday treat the staff like animals.once i was trying to escalte this issue to general manager.

          he took a revenge on me he told me in front the customers to resign my job and go to home.

          im the person responsible for my family the company till now cleared any settlements and reveling letter.

          i keep calling them no response from their side.

          please some one help me

            My name is Manish Poddar. I am presently employed in Citi Bank. Previously i was in Shoppers Stop Ltd. (Kolkata). I have left that organisation on 15/03/2009. While leaving the organisation i have given FORM 13, so as to transfer the PF amount to my present employer. But after waiting for 6 months, since i didnt recieved any communication i started following up. After continous follow ups from different department for almost last 2 years it didnt end up to anything. Request help to get this resolved asap.

            My PF a/c no# MH/13484/7219. Also plz find the mail trail which i had with the HR of the organisation.

              I had purchased a GUESS bag from Shoppers stop outlet at Ansal Plaza . This was bought sometime back. it was for Rs. 7000. The quality of bag has deterioated within a few months o[censored]se and does not even look like a branded bag. It is sad to see a brand like Shoppers stop who are opening more and more outlets are selling such poor quality of branded bags. Grow your customers not by increasing the number of stores but by selling good quality products. Even after making several calls to the store no one helped me out . Poor after sales service. Pathetic staff.

                still now i didnot get refund in my bank account, when i am calling to this merchent they are telling me to call my bank

                and when i am calling my bank , they are telling me to call that merchent. i send so many emails to this marchent and also
                called them so many times but i didnot get any response from them.they told me that the amount will be refund back within
                15 days of cancellation but when i called my bank, my bank told me that they didnot receive any amount from this merchent.
                my bank was asking for a cancellation email with ref no from this merchent but this merchent is not taking any steps to
                refund back my money.

                i am attaching the snapshot of billing confirmation and cancellation confirmation sent by that merchant..

                i wish you please look after this matter as early as possible and try to do the needfull to get my money back.

                  Shoppers Stop Mulund – Nirmal Lifestyle store – Very BAD experiencce

                  I and my wife were at the store on Saturday- on sept first week at the Mulund – Nirmal Lifestyle Store. Since my wife had redeemed her awards at her organization ( as shoppers stop was their one of themnay online rewards partner)

                  We bought a dress and it had a tag of 51% discount. When we went for billing it was told by the counter lady that it was only for First Citizen members. And only if we had a card this ‘discount’ will be given

                  This is nothing but ‘cheating’ . Nowhere it was mentioned in the store or at the place where this dress was placed that the ‘SALES WAS FOR FIRST CITIZEN CARD MEMBERS ONLY’

                  When we pointed this to the lady -she squarely placed the blame on the spot sales-person that he forgot to tell us about the same. This is really crazy and funny too coming from shopers stop

                  This was eally a ‘BAD EXPERIENCE’ . I Had to take the card and a Rs. 400/- coupon was given ( here even if a short explanation was given that the same would be o[censored]se only if a item worth Rs.3000/- was bought , I would have appreciated that - but that too was not so). I am now totally apprehensive and afraid to shop Shoppers stop

                  This is nothing but cheating buyers. .

                  So be careful at these stores and to avoid such stores would be better

                    Hello Minaz,

                    This is Sameer Sawant & i have made online shopping from shopperstop portal for Allen Solly Mens Long Sleeves Casual Plain Knit Jacket (Order #: 3539257) & after 10 days i have been told that my order is cancelled because product is not in stock.

                    1) If stock is not available, then WHY DOES THE PRODUCT STILL SHOWS AS AVAILABLE IN SHOPPERSTOP ONLINE PORTAL EVEN NOW, IT SHOULD UPDATE EITHER AS SOLD OUT OR NOT AVAILABLE.
                    MARKING PRODUCTS AS AVAILABLE AND CHARGING THEM FOR THE PRODUCT AND THEN MAKING THE PAYMENT PROCESS REFUND AFTER 20 DAYS IS PURE WAY OF FOOLING THE CUSTOMER.
                    WRITING THIS MAIL is my motive to make people aware not to use shopperstop portal until they give trust and confidence about products been showcased. And i expect atleast they should update the portal information on timely manner to avoid such confusion if any as customer PAYS for what they purchase and it is not FREE of COST Service.

                    2) i don't see you valued your customer in any sense because, it is we who approach you and purchase from your shop with belief that i will have good and prompt service but it is not the actual case.
                    I HAD TO FOLLOWUP WITH SUPPORT TO KNOW THE STATUS ON MY ORDER AND LATER REALIZED THAT MAIL WAS NOTIFIED TODAY.
                    For past 9 days - there was no message or call from shopperstop for not able to process my order on-time.

                    The thing that piss me off the most is fooling customer over online shopping site saying it is available although it is NOT available in reality. I will definitely share my this experience with details for other customers on social network to make them aware as i do feel that others should not feel same as what i feel today as been cheated.

                    This is not my first order thru shopperstop online portal, i had ordered some brand of glasses in month of feb and even that was been delivered VERY LATE. I was the one who follow-up with my order and had no proper tracking service from your end. Seriously it is very disappointment to experience with world-class brand name 'SHOPPERSSTOP' !!!

                      Its my birthday tomorrow so I had gone to buy clothes and also my mom decided to buy me a present. So I purchased a diamond nose ring from Shopper's Stop in Bandra on Linking Road on 13/07/2012 at 8.25 p.m for Rs. 7115. I gave the cashier 100 rupees bundle (10,000 cash). I thought they have that machine to count it. Instead he divided the money and gave some to another cashier to count. One of them counted 60 notes and other counted 39, which came upto 9,900. I doubted it and asked him to count again but then I thought maybe my mother might have removed a note from the bundle. He asked me to pay 15 rupees for which I gave him 20 bucks and he returned 5. Then he gave me my Balance back which I counted there and it was 2300. But I had a doubt that he has cheated me. Since there were other customers in line behind me I moved out of the cash counter where the salesman gave me the certificate for the diamond. There i took his calculator and verified the amount. The difference of 9,900 and 7,100 came to 2,800 and the cashier had given me only 2,300. So I rushed back to the cashier and asked him. He said he had given me the money back after taking 71 notes. Both the cashiers seemed reluctant to admit anything. And he also made a mistake in typing the amount on the bill. I gave him Rs. 10,000 which according to their counting was 9,900 and 20 rupees on top. He entered only Rs. 7,120 on the bill and balance was 5. The Manager Ms. Meenakshi Gupta was called to check their money and tallied it to what was fed on the computer. Seriously a brainless woman. When the cashiers have not mentioned receiving Rs.10,000 and returning balance of Rs. 2,800 which was visibly a fraud done by the cashiers when they entered amount as 7,120 and balance Rs. 5 which was present on the bill. How could she find a mistake in the cash present in their drawers. They might have hidden it somewhere else. Instead of helping us she behaved very rudely with my mother and waws very arrogant. She was adamant that her cashiers were innocent and refused to be of any help. I asked her to check the CCTV footage and she agreed to go tthough it. When we saw the footage we saw that there were more than 10 people behind the counter when my transaction was going on so it was very difficult to make out where the money was hid or exchanged to someone else. After that she told me that she has done all that she could do and she started lecturing my mother to go home and relax and that we should ask ourselves where we kept the money. All this time we were talking to her politely and she was the one teaching us what to do. I don't understand how people can behave like this. I mean I also belong to a middle class family just like them. Its not that we are not taking any lesser pains to earn this money and these people behave so indifferently, like if they rob Rs. 500 from us and it won't make a difference to us just because we are shopping at such a place. I strongly feel that these people should be dragged to court and taught a lesson. But being in a middle class family with old parents who just can say " jaane do beta hum kya kar sakte hai...court ke chakkar kaun lagayega" Now I am a student I cannot afford to sue such people. But I strongly feel some action should be taken against these frauds. I will make sure these frauds are exposed someday.

                      And most importantly please beware people when you are dealing with large sums of cash with such people at this Shopper's stop. We cannot outsmart these experts but all we can do is try our best to avoid such things and give them a chance to rob us. Please count your money properly before given them and after receiving your balance before you leave the counter as these people are experts in such kind of robberies.

                      Seems to be daily chore of Shoppers Stop Bandra outlet.

                      On 13th Nov 2015 I went to that same store and was addressed by one of the guy who said that as I'm a regular customer, Shoppers Stop has decided to upgrade my membership from Classic to Gold promising that I'll receive additional points for each purchase. All my existing earned points will also be transferred.

                      I thoroughly asked again and again if this is some kind of additional membership, any additional monthly payments or any how related to credit cards which he sworn and assured.

                      He has collected my PAN Card as identity proof, my Adhaar card as address proof and a passport size photo all which he said he will return after scanning.

                      After sometime he came back with Xerox copies and a form and further asked me just to sign and he will fill other details. I started filling that form myself but noticed that he is trying to distract me by talk while hiding top header of that form.

                      When I bluntly asked him to remove his hand, only then I noticed the form which I was filling was not from Shoppers stop but from Citibank.
                      I asked him why he has done that and I'll complain, he bluntly snatched that form from me and turn it into pieces. (Please refer CCTV footage from Mens Casual section area Cash counter - I think its on Top floor).

                      When I asked about the Xerox copies of my id's and photograph, he replied he already thrown it in garbage.
                      I was with my wife and was planned to travel abroad very next day hence running out of time I left that place.

                      What if my id will be misused and who will be responsible for it?
                      I believe such kind of fraud is going on with collaboration of Shoppers Stop and Citibank itself

                        i have placed an order with shoppers stop on 19th april 2012 and explained them in detail about my situation that there wont be anyone in the country after after 9th may 2012. but still i didnt receive anything. but the product was dispatched on 24th april 2012. i called them 2 times with the response wait 2 more days. i even mailed them to cancel the product. but nothing happened. pls help me out as im running out of time. my order number is #3320809 ordered on 24th april 2012 and this one #3350025 on 7th may 2012. either deliver the product or cancel the order and pls let me know if its cancelled so that i can order with some other site.
                        THEY ARE FRAUD PEOPLE...SPECIALLY THE ONLINE SHOPPING THEY PROMISE IN GIVING FREE GIFT IN WRITING AND ONCE THE PAYMENT IS RECEIVED BY THEM, THE FREE GIFT NEVER ARRIVES.

                          I bought a LeeCooper casual shoe for my father from the Shopper's Stop @ City Center (Salt lake,kolkata ) last month. To my surprise the elastic of one shoe tore with using the shoe for about a week.I went to the Shopper's Stop to show them the shoe as I just had bought it and it broke. They told that its a manufacturing defect and needs to be stitched/mended. Here My concern is , if its a manufacturing defect than the shoe must be replaced rather than stitched. I have deposited the shoe at Shoppers Stop customer service desk.

                          Now I have communicated with MBfootwears , they confirmed that they haven't received anything from Shopper's Stop, City Center, Kolkata .

                          I would appreciate if you look into the matter and update ASAP , its been almost 12 days I am yet awaiting the response from the Shopper's Stop.

                            Hi I had purchased for 4 items, but they had billed me for total 5 items (Rs. 499 exta) for item which i didnt purchased. Luckily I had noticed this before exiting the counter, and escalted the issue. Then their store manager approached me after 30 mins with an appology and he offered me a refund of Rs. 500 via Shoppers Stop Voucher. They had claimed Rs. 499 extra fom me by fradulent means and was offering a refund which doesnt serve my purpose. I am not sure with how many customers they are doing similar FRAUD and howmany of them checks the invoice after billing.

                                    I made a purchase of one trouser at Shopper Stop in Kormanagala, Bangalore.
                                    Later I gave it for alteration at same place as well. But somehow I lost the payment and alteration receipt for the same.

                                    Now its been more than 15 days and they are yet to produce the trouser. Everytime I go, they make me wait for long hours and are not even serious towards this problem. The worst part is they keep on making different excuses everytime.

                                    If someone takes back the trouser after alteration, they keep record of all the receipts. But in my case, they are not even producing the returned alteration receipt.

                                        I finished my shopping at 3PM on the 22nd of Jan and went with the trousers for alteration. I was handed over a slip and was asked to come after 7:30PM. When i reached there at about 7:45, i produced the slip to the representative there and he wasnt even bothered. I called out a couple of time but the rep turned a blind eye. there were a lot of people waiting and looked like the vendor had some problems. I waited for about an hour and then i lost my cool. i had no answer, no status, the rep had no manners and i had my 1 year old kid and my wife in the car waiting for me. at about 9PM i got to know that it was not done and that i had to come back at 9PM the next day for delivery. I asked for my stuff back so that i could get it done elsewhere which was also too late as it was 9PM and i wouldnt find anybody to do the alteration that day. this purchase was made for a specific reason and i now have nothing to wear for the occasion. My complaint to the floor manager turned out to be of no luck either. I was told that there was a mishap and one of the tailors did not turn up. If this was the case, a pro-active call or a simple yes or no from the representative at the time i walked in could have avoided all this negative experience that i went through and has left a bad taste in my mouth. I wasted 2 hours of my time, my money (5k) and have nothing proper to wear for the occasion. I am throwing away the membership card as it makes no sense at all keeping it and will never ever buy from Shoppers Stop ever again.
