Hi to All,

I bought 2 new split Ac in Vasanth & Co dated on 6/5/2011. While i am buying they said "we;ll deliver within two days", but they delivered 4 days later(10/5/2011). Still am waiting for Installation of AC's.
Do you think is this good service????. So Think and Buy @ Vasanth Co

I have order one washing machine for the date 13/08/2012 at 11:00 AM, show room promised with me you will received the product before 02:00 PM, but i have not received promised time after i called with show room they informed you received exact 07:00 PM. But we are not received next day i directly went to show room same thing repeating again but still we are not received...

Very good company but service is not much appreciate level.

Vasanth &co — Very very poor for delivering the product

Very Very Poor for Delivering the Product have been order one refrigerator(godrej) from08/10/2012 at Chennai trade center.but i am not received the product till date (15days).

i buyed one bero in vasanth and co purasawalkam branch worth 8000 on 21th jan 2013 today morning they are delivered at home but totally damaged in bero all parts. class brokered and dump in three places and handle damaged and cracks. they are giving lot of yes cubes for damaged products. enginer will come tomorrow if he is free. in big concern delivery is very very poor.

    I have purchased Whirlpool Split AC with Rs.26000/- on 06-05-11, but still today they have not delivered my product. Also the shopkeepers are not behavior properly and they told me you speak to concern sales repersenative.

      Hi

      on tamil new year 14.04.2011 i bought a whrilpool fridge from vasanth & co in mylapore. They were very much neglecting and insisting me to go show room and stal area at raja kalyana mandapam. i am differently abled person. they didn't bother and lastly i went there and they made bill and paid full amount.

      poor response and i pleased that sales person and made so many calls for bringing fridge to my home and the customer care person from whrilpool came for free demo on 16.04.11. yesterday evening the frost control is not functioning. No response from vasanth and co and whril pool service person also.

      now i booked call to toll free number. i unhappy with vasanth and co.

        Vasanth & Co - Tambaram Chennai

        I've bought an Whirlpool Split AC on 26th March - it was delivered after 5 days. The box labels were different and with little bit of question I opened up the Indoor Unit box to ensure what I received is right model. But they delivered wrong Unit's, The indoor Unit is of Chrome Model and Outdoor Unit is of Aviator Model.

        When reported the issue to the Vasanth & Co person, he said he will replace the unit the very next day.

        After 3 days past I called the person (Mr Ravindrababu - [protected]) and now he says Whirlpool Technical Person has to come to my place to confirm that the model is of different kind then only he will replace.

        This is really terrible.

        Meanwhile they said my mobile no entered in the system/bill is wrong, but I received a call from them to upgrade my AC model to a new model because the model i booked on 26th March is out of stock.

        When I called them, they didn't lift my calls for so long in a day.

          I have purchased godrej referigerator vide bill no[protected] dated 8/1/11 for the model gde23cs4 .the item delivered to me is the display piece ,doesn't have any catalogue warranty card and delivery taken at the time of 11.30 pm night.as promised it will delivered at 8 o clock ,.
          when i approached the shop on 9/1/11 regarding the garranty card and catalogue they informed everything available with the piece .some arguments happened between us and one of the employee rasied his hands to beat us and he wrongly informed police with false complaint.
          the customer service by VASANTH AND CO is not upto the mark in all the branches.request you to take this issue with consumer forum and help the consumer to have his right .

            Delivery person told that it would be given on 1st Jan 2011 or 2nd jun 2011 evening 5'o clock but did not receive at right time.So many time tried to Delivery person as well as Manager ,they are did not pick up the Phone.

              Hi all, never ever buy anything from Vasanth &Co purusaiwalkam branch, very poor service. And also from Onida. I bought yesterday Onida 32inch LCD TV to give as a diwali gift to my family. First of all they are not provided table mount stand to install, when we call onida they asked us to contact dealer(Vasanth & Co) when we call dealer they asked us to contact company(onida). Main thing brand new TV is not working on the installation itself.

              For the replacement if we call Vasanth &Co no proper response.They said replacement may take weeks time. If we complian Onida sales person also no proper response.

              So never ever buy from Vasanth & CO, also from Onida both people dont have proper service to customer.

                I have bought Onida "S18TFL3" 3 STAR Split A/C in Vasanth & Co, Usman road branch on[protected]. They said that they will deliver & install the a/c by[protected] when I booked the A/C. As they said they delivered the A/c. But they did not come to install it as of now. There was no response when i calling them. I tried their phone number. They cut the call. I was irritated with their poor service. I hope they will install atleast by tomorrow or soon.

                Sir, I bought Sun direct DTH with my LCD tv at vasanth&co chengalpattu branch dated 20th april.They are taking 3 days to fit the dish and till they are not activated. whenever i ask them they told repeatedly please wait for some time. please take some favorable action sir. thank you
                Fraud, Cheat & burglars

                Don't buy annthing from these pigs. I was one among cheated when buying a new AC where at the time of payment they said its a free installation. But later they demanded 1400Rs for installation. Fraud.

                  We had bought a LG LCD TV from Vasanth & Co which had an expo in Anna nagar. All creamy words were put in as usual to make the customers buy. We were told that there would be a Airtel DTH connection for 6 months and would come in as free with the LG LCD TV. Its printed on the Bill too. Its been 1 month we have not received it. When we call them we are ALWAYS told that we will receive within a week.
                  We had called in LG Customer Service. They have told that they didnt promise anything as such, Then why in the Bill it says LG Gift Airtel DTH?.
                  We have the Bill which has the details of the TV bought and abt the Free Gift.
                  Is this not one way of cheating? We have been cheated at the start of the new year. I think we should had delayed the full payment till we get the product and what was promised with the product.

                    Irresponsible.Avoid buying in Vasanth & co

                    I purchased a refrigerator in Vasanth & Co branch, Tambaram on 1st Dec 2009. At the time of purchase, they made me buy a different product (had to pay additional price) than what I had chosen because they didn't have enough stock of the product of my choice. They assured me the refrigerator would be delivered the next day. After 2 days when I called up the branch about the delivery they told me that it would be delivered the same...

                    I bought a washing machine on 03.10.2009 from vasanth & co. If your dealer is not capable enough to provide service or videocon company provide service on time, kindly tell us we could better buy someother brand washing machine. Yet now there is no one turned to give demo or to assure the provided washing machine does not have any manufacturing fault, after making n number of calls to the dealer, who either disconnects the call while speaking or not responding. I request you kindlyl ask the dealer to take the machine back and return my money. I will better buy things of other brand through some other dealer. If am not getting reply within today I am forced to launch a complaint in consumer forum.

                      I bought a TV(29” Onida – TruSlim) from Vasanth&Co, Nanganallur on 18.01.2009 and a warranty period of 2 years given on this TV as a festive offer.

                      This TV had failed for 3 times within the first one year period. When it failed for first time-just in 1-1/2 months, I requested to replace the TV itself, but neither Vasanth&Co. nor Onida service center(Kilkattalai) obliged & so other occasions too. Now I’m victimized with 4th time failure.

                      When it failed for 4th time, we registered a complaint on 10.08.2009. The Service engineer came on 13.08.2009 and he told he would come back with electronic components to replace the faulty ones. Once again components failure observed as was the previous occasions. But until now 17.08.2009, there is no response or clear date from them on action. Just astonishing to observe a high irresponsive customer service to our repeated telephone calls and personal visits to the Nanganallur shop.

                      Since a new TV failed again for 4th time in one-and-a-half years, we scrutinize on the genuine nature of TV and feel that the TV itself may not be a NEW one and it was sold to us covering the real truth.

                      So, I feel it is obvious, a replacement is the only option as the failures cannot be accepted repeatedly for a newly bought material & this led us to undergo the mental stress again and again with this kind of non-positive, unrealistic attitude. Hope this is understood to Vasanth & Co.

                      Our family could not have information/news/entertainment during this period, since they did not take any action to replace the faulty TV. The irresponsiveness of concerned leads us to spend our valuable time and energy. I wonder, how’ll I be getting their response/compensation for our valuable time, information and energy losses???

                      Sub : Complaint against the failure of TV – ONIDA 29” TruSlim for the 4th time – its new brand genuineness? & advise to replace it, as it is under Warranty

                      Dear Sir,

                      With reference to above subject, please note that I bought a TV(29” Onida – TruSlim) from Vasanth&Co, Nanganallur on 18.01.2009 and a warranty period of 2 years given on this TV.

                      Please note that this TV failed on 09.08.2009 for the 4th time. This TV had failed for 3 times within the first one year period.                       We wish to reiterate that this is causing us & undergoing a huge mental turmoil and distress. The irresponsiveness of concerned leads us to spend our valuable time and energy. May we request you to take immediate action at your earliest to set the things to ease and to have good customer service records? I wonder, how’ll I be getting your response/compensation for our valuable time, information and energy losses???

                          We ordered a Whirlpool refrigerator from the Vasanth & Co. stall @ Chennai Trade Centre Lifestyle exhibition. The salesperson Mr. Ramesh from Vasanth & Co. Purasawalkam store attended to us and showed us all the colour options available for the chosen model and we selected "Carbon" (near black) and placed the order. However, the colour of the refrigerator delivered to us was "Graphite' (light grey). The delivery man insisted this was the right colour and asked us to take it up Customer support the next day as it was late night at that time. After many tries, we finally were able to talk to a Vasanth & Co representative who said Carbon is not a valid option for the model we chose and will verify with Mr. Ramesh when he arrives at office the next day. No one called me the next day but I called up again and spode to Mr.Ramesh who started off in a very rude and patronizing tone (quite different to his manner at the stall) in insisting that the misunderstanding was not his fault and he could not have made such a mistake. Once he realized that I had other witnesses who corraborated my claim, he seemed to relent but only to deceive again by saying they cannot replace a product that is in "use" (for 1 day).

                          Try to avoid buying anything from Vasanth & Co. in future.

                          SAMSUNG Home-Theatre — No Response to Visit Request For Proper Demo and Other Issues

                          I have purchased a Samsung Home Theatre X30, (My BP No [protected])at Gurgaon. I find that the audio quality and volume is not satisfactory many times. (My 2 year old Music system used perform far better!)I received the HDMI cable on request from Dealer after the installation, but it is also not helping to solve the problem. I do not know if the connections are OK or the cable is not right. Despite several requests logged in thru the Call Centre, I only get a standard response" Some one will definitely call and visit today itself". This is going on for last nearly 2 weeks. I shudder to think if this Company can't provide me Demo, what service can I look forwrd to?Can you help me?

                          philips/29 " tv kit — product not delivered & dealer not returning money

                          I am visvadeep, i gave order for a philips television kit to the dealer of this (Bharat Radios, authorised PHILIPS Dealers)shop on[protected].At the time of receiving order he told that in 2 days you will receive your product at your given address by courier. but till now i could not receive my product.For this order i have paid Rs 3600-/ to this dealer.Now when i asked to this dealer to return my money then he used abusive languages and refused to return my money.

                          we purchased a new wirpool washing machine at Vasanth and Co in chennai. They gave a demo or an old scratched piece instead of the new one. we spoke to them for replacement, but they are fighting. they have even taken the gift set that will be inside every refrigerator set. Never buy products there. They are big cheats.

                          Refrigerator — Poor Support from Vasanth&Co

                          Last week i have purchased 1 refrigirator from Vasanth&Co T.Nagar branch. still the delivery is pending. Almost 4 days completed and am waiting for the delivery. I didn't expect this kind of support from Vasanth&Co a reputed home appliance shop in Chennai. I have called the all phone numbers which is printed in the bill more than 25 times. But i didnt get any proper response from anyone.
                          I must have read this complaint before purchasing my refrigerator in Vasanth & Co tambaram! I was made to buy a frige for higher price than what I had chosen as they didnt have stock of the frige I chose. After 1 week, when I spoke to the branch incharge, I was told that they didn't have enough stock and I have to wait. After 15 days of tracking and arguement, they sent the frige and claimed extra money for delivery and handling!! They also told me I will have a representative from Samsung for a demo and instruction session but no one has turned up till date!! Overall bad experience with this company and branch!!
                          I bought a LGtoploader washingmachine on16-05-10, still now i"m not getting demo&instalation from the prdt side, because of that dealer late log in, so i keep try to contact withdealer of north usmanroad branch through telephone nos are 28341445/42010573unable get the line contionously rings going on.This what very bad experience to me with vsasnth&co .since before i had never met these type of very worst moments.so you make sure the customer service oriented aspects in future.i need your feedback against this complaint.

                          Buddy, Same story here. In the trade fair, we ordered a LG Refrigerator and the sales person confirmed us our required color( though that was not in display, he showed diff model fridge of that color and we liked it). We double confirmed with him that such color exists for our model and he assured us he'll deliver and he put color spec in the bill as well. However when they delivered it was of wrong color and now chasing these folks for the replacement for past 10 days. Response varies with every call - delivered tomorrow, being loaded in warehouse, order placed with company etc...

                          Poor customer service. Customer is king only till payment for these folks

                          even after three days they have neither delivered the product nor are giving definite replies of when the product will be delivered . the manager of this branch is not answering direct queries on the subject and only says he will inform as soon as the product is received at their end.

                          if the product is not in stock with them or if they do not know when it can be arranged does it not amount to cheating the customers ie to accept the full payment , raise invoice and promise delivey next day?

                          all customers intend to deal with the vendor should be beware of this branch.

                          This is to complain Vasanth & Co that, for the sake of your fat profit margin on AC, Vasanth & Co recommended "HITACHI" and it gives n number of problems and I am badly running behind service technician.

                          Desc in Chronological Order:
                          On Wednesday 23rd May 2012, I visited T-Nagar Vasanth and Co to get a Bluestar AC as I own same brand for my other house but the sales representative urged me to buy Hitachi saying the cost of it is same as Bluestar, also has four way cooling feature and second best brand in AC.

                          Vasanth and Co gave single booster stabilizer for 1300 rupees where as Hitachi 1.5 Ton requires double booster for compressor to start at addition of rupees 2950 on exchange that I had to bear - Sales representative was not aware and his promise on same price is wrong as the stabilizer cost is addition of 2950 rupees.

                          In our flat of 24 houses, other brand ACs are working fine with single booster. The flat is near transformer and no fluctuations in voltage. Also other high voltage appliances like heater, washing machine etc are working fine.


                          One week is going to pass and I still do not have AC operational. Even after the double boost the AC compressor is not working...

                          Conclusion:
                          Vasanth & Co is not aware of product but recommend it for your Vasanth & Co benefit alone without knowing the hidden cost and other problems customer will face.

I bought a philips HTS5520 home theater on 17 feb 2012 while I ordered the product the sale rep told me that we will book a installation and the philips service people will reach you with in a business day, but today it's 21st feb no one came for installation. The next day itself i cancel my philps TV and selected Toshiba PU 200 Model. I asked the Vasanth & co Corp. Reg Exchange of product even they did not booked their end . They said You may visit near By Vasanth & co And show the Booked Bill and collect the Tv. Once i visited they said it is impoosible to cancel the product in any brance and you should cancel / exchange the product only in Corp.                           I'm Sathya . I purchased an AC samsung inverter 1.5tonnes. The very next day we found that Ac was not working and we saw water leakage from the unit. We made a complaint and their service engineers attended the fault and requested us to change to new unit. We made follow ups so many times but no response. Finally after thirty days they sent a senior person. He also reported the same complaint. But till today the Ac was not changed and no result. Mr.Sebastein from Padi branch attended us .                           This was a bad (in a way good experience ) from Nanganallur Branch. We had ordered for electrolux products and paid an advance and were waiting for the product. 3 days later, they called saying that the product is not in stock and they can give videocon instead. So we went in person and asked them if the product could be made available, when he said it is not at all in the godown. Choosing to get all the products from the same shop, we said them, we ll return later after searching some other shops as well. And we went to another branch - where they told the product is in stock and it could all be given at the discount price billed by the previous vasanth and co dealer. We were waiting for the sales person to bill it for almost 1 and a half hour wherein he was constantly going into and out of the manager's room . We asked if there is any problem and he never admitted anything. After a tiresome wait, he told us the cost for which the other branch had given us the products shows a lower cost than the allowed discount and we would have to pay 2000 extra to get the products which were all in stock. And he told us to go back to the nanganallur branch to get the refund of the advance as well. Calling up the nanganallur branch, we were shocked to receive a cold reply - come and get your money refunded and we re not willing to sell it away at that price. And all this after a waste of lot of time and energy .Almost three days and a long wait at the store to know that they couldnt sell it at a price they had quoted. It was a very bitter experience with vasanth and co and we learnt a lesson! They tell you one thing and at the end it is something different! We went to rathna fan house and ordered an ac at a very reasonable price and a comfortable customer service.
                          I purchased a Panasonic TV from Vasanth and co. They insisted me to take hand delivery instead of giving me home delivery. I witnessed, the person who brought the tv, was
                          dragging it on ground. They said, it normal and assured me of any fault. After i opened the goods at home, found that the TV was a complete damaged piece. I had to try very hard to replace it. Moreover, during the period they gave wrong promises of replacing. I am not happy with Vasanth and Co. I will prefer and suggest Chroma instead.

The salesperson from Vasanth & Co. t.nagar store attended to us and showed us all the tv options available for the chosen model and we selected and placed the order. However, the tv was not delivered on given date. The sales man said Customer support the next day as it was late night at that time. After many tries, we finally were able to talk to a Vasanth & Co representative who said it will come on given date and will verify with Mrs.Chithra when he arrives at office the next day.

                          It's complaint about the seller of the vasanth N Co name sadham([protected]). Pls don't trust his words while selling the product(Sony led TV). He use to speak so nicely while selling after selling he will show his true face to the customer. Don't even respond to the customer properly n he was so rude to me when u questioned him about the billing _ after selling the product. I was so unhappy with the billing dept n vasanth N co. I will def tell to my neighbors n friends to do not buy any product there. They didn't even mention the proper naming for the full amount debited from my card. Pls don't buy any product in T Nagar North Usman road vasanth N Co. If you really want to buy there you are at risk. Thanks
                          I booked washing machine in Vasanth & co., while booking i told them that i dont want any displayed items or washing machine to be delivered.. i found some scratches in the displayed washing machines..the sales women promised me that they wont send any old stock or displayed items.. after one week only they delivered the washing machine.. while unboxing i found that the same machine which was displayed there..which has so many scratches has been delivered to me..immediately i informed them about this..but they tried to avoid with some other reasons..and after so many calls and complaints only the company replaced the product..that to have some damage..so my personal suggestion is please dont buy any products from there.. very worst service..

                            I bought one days back refridgerator in Vasanth & Co, North Usman Road in Chennai. They delivered that day night to my home.They told dealer will come, but not yet come, I called more than 200 times for their Contact Phone numbers in Bill. They did not take most of the time, some time they take and down the receiver.

                            So Vasanth & Co has Very Poor Customer Care Support.

                            I thought to purchase a branded washing machine and i went to vasanth and co and asked that washing machine, They said they have no stock and as per the order basis only we get so if you can give the order we shall arrange like that they told and i agreed and made the payment, After three days also they not yet delivered i have to follow up more than thousands of time, Finall they said what ever the colour you ordered is not available and you can take the alternate colour like that they said and i have cancelled the order after three days, Worst response and customer care

                            I booked washing machine in Vasanth & Co on 01.01.2009 at purasawalkam branch in Chennai. They delivered that only in 20.01.2009 night to my home. For this I have called Incharger Pandian, Sales Nagaraj more than 42 time & three time myself and my wife visited the branch. But finally we received the machine that also not for which I booked in the showroom . Now I am waiting for demo.

                            we have booked two AC's on 27/03/09, they promised to deliver within two days, but its not yet delivered still.We tried calling them several times, but there is no proper response, even we went directly to the showroom twice.When ever we go there they promising that they will deliver it the next day, but they are not doing it. I dont know whats the exact problem wit them.

                            We contacted Mr.Abbas [protected], but he is not at all responding properly, and also not attending the phone often. He has promised us several times regarding the delivery when we got him on the line.

It was under repair within 2 days.i asked them to send someone to repair.Though they said they would ;their response towards complaint was very bad.Very bad service!! and i had to talk to the manager of the a.c brand to send someone from the service centre to repair.When i went directly to their showroom, the salesman behaved in a very rude and disrepectful manner!!! they had given me surety of coming within 2 days but when i asked him, he said he didnt give any surety!! Is this what is called customer service????

This lottery's fund received or not received me. This person live Mumbai Diplomatic Lodge in Mumbai . So I requested you that I don't way what I to do ?                             I bought one week back samsung 29'inch in Vasanth & Co, mylopoer in Chennai.                             The worst service you can ever get I got a Brand New LG TV which is not working properly they promised replacement it is almost two weeks now they dont showup every time i call they say it will done tomoro but it never happens, sales man over there are Suresh, Kuppuraj and the branch is in nelson manikam road

                            Very Very Poor Customer Service. I bought a a.c from Vasanth & Co. Royapuram Branch. There they spoke with such a kind word that I thought of purchasing one more a.c for my residence, But after getting the money no response at all. I told them that it is very emergengy and they said will send the people tonight itself, and now this is the fifth day still the delivery person is coming and no installation is done. Every day telling just 15mins, 1 hour., etc and fifth day is going to get over. I have made more than 100 calls to the showroom and 100 calls to the service department directly. Got fed up in calling those people. Really frustrated. I'ts my fault that I tried this people for the first time after hearing about these people that the customer service will not be good.

                            Will never recommend about these people or purchase from this shop hereafter

                            hi when u r giving an add in hindu it should be prompt full to the customer. Last one month the ac add comes in the hindu paper. wen we went to the showroom and ask about the split ac 1ton for 14190/- but they are saying its for window ac only. then please dont mention when u r not giving and dont cheat the customer.
                            I purchased a V-Guard double booster from them. When all the shops had no stock, the ullagaram branch of Vasanth & Co had one. One of the sales man was doubtful of the stock, but the other salesman said he had one. There was a sarcastic smile from the first one which I didn't take seriously. After taking delivery of the product, I found that it was inferior and had so many problems. It won't even come up some times and started to beat continuously at some times. I had to run to V-Guard service frequently. These guys are cheaters. Do get anything from Vasanth & co, especially the ullagaram branch

                              I booked IFB washing machine by paied full payment '20200' on the 26 -10 -08 assurance for delivery on next day but delivery was not made next day after that when ever i made a call for delivery, i got the same reply of next day. Once again I went the shop on 29-10-08 Those people has response same reply. I ever seen in my life before, if the same situtation continue definetely they will loose the business.
                              I am going through a problem with IFB washing machine. I have AMC contract and i am calling the service centre since last 6 days and nobody is attending. I have given the clear intructions to come to my house after 12.00 in the afternoon, engineer comes at 11.00 a.m and goes and now i am being told that engineers have gone for vacation and will only attend after 2-3 days. Yesterday I call service center in Ahmedabad and the manager is telling me the engineer will come tomorrow and today i am told all the engineers are on holiday and will come after 2-3 days. I am tired of listening their excuses.
                              I am calling service center in Banglore and they are telling me that they will forward the mail to higher officer but till today I have not given any services from the IFB service center and no one is taking resposibility for the bad service. I am not been given the telephone no. of any responsible manager to whom I can speak.
                              Services is very bad.
                              There is no responsible person at Ahmedabad service center.
                              I booked a Referigerator Whirlpool 445 litres in NEXT showroom, T nagar Usman road on October 30, I didnt get the product until 22nd November, afterwords with great difficulties I could get back the paid money by 1 Dec'08 without any interest (for Rs.32000). People not even bother to inform the customer about the delay. We should be very careful before ordering the product. We should enquire about stock availabilty first. People are simply blufing for the buisness sake...

                                I paid the amount in adyar vasanth & co 8 days back for refridgerator and till today they didnot delivery me. they are torturing like anything that they will say today or tomorrow.

                                When I paid amount they told me that within one day delivery but till today they didnot delivery the product.

                                I booked washing machine by paying Rs.1000 as an advance payment on the 03 -05 -08 assurance for delivery on next day but delivery was not made next day after that when ever i made a call for delivery, i got the same reply of next day. when i callled as on 07-05-08 i got the same reply when i argued regarding every day the assurance of next day, he asked me to come and collect the advance. i have come to know that they are adopating the same practise with most of the costomers and the advance money is used by them.                                 I HAVE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME PROBLEM FOR BOOKING MULTISPLIT A/C ON 03-05-08 BY PAYING RS.3, 000/- (RECEIPT NO.[protected] AT TIRUCHY BRANCH DELIVERY WITHIN 3 OR 4 DAYS. BUT WHENEVER I CONTACT THEM THEY TOLD THE SAME STORY. IS THERE ANY WAY WE CAN CHECK THEIR ATTITUDE.
                                I booked one tn Split AC by paying Rs.10000 as an advance payment on the 07.05.08 in Vasanth and Co., Chengalpattu Branch after getting assurance for delivery on next day. But delivery was not made next day . when i callled on 08-05-08 and 09.05.08 i got the same reply. Now I am having only way to get things through Consumer Forums only. Before that I want to contact the correct responsible person of Vasanth and Co. My advance Receipt of Chengalpet branch No. is [protected] dated 7.5.08.
                                On 9 May 2008, a lady from CITY CLUB, who does Telemarketing called me over mobile and informed about some offers. I just asked to call me back on 25 June 2008.

                                While I was referring my HDFC Credit Card account Statement through net banking, I have found that Rs.2000 has been debited from my account on[protected], without my Knowledge and without my Oral or Written authorization, by an unknown party mentioned as CITY CLUB.

                                Now I am getting threatening calls using filthy abusive languages from the mobile no.[protected], somebody introducing themselves as Tamil & Parasuraman, as they are henchmen of CITY CLUB, and also challenging me to complain over Police and Bank.

                                Also I have informed all the above things to the General Manager[Mr.K.C.S. Manian] of CITY CLUB over his mobile no.[protected]. But there is no response.

                                I had purchased samsung LCD TV model LA40B530 from ganesh electronics, nehru street for Rs 66000/-I was told that it was a competitive price.I was fooled into thinking so since it was below the MRP of Rs70000/-.But i came to know that one of my colelagues had purchased it for Rs 56500/- from pondicherry.When he was confronted with the invoice against the lower price of Rs 56500/- (the scanned copy was sent through e-mail), he refused to talk to me asking his assitant to tell me that he was not available (which i overheard in the phone).

                                My request to customers is to kindly avoid this showroom in pondicherry.Let others not be cheated like i was.

                                Washing Machine — Delivery delay and false promise

                                We have bought a washing machine from Borivali Br Vijay sales. They had promised to deliver the washing machine on the next day after paying the amount through Bank Draft. However their sales agent Mr Bipin after receiving the draft went back on the word saying he can deliver only after cheque realisation. Even though the draft was submitted on 6th Sept 2009, till date i.e. 11th sept 2009 they have not delivered the washing machine.
                                They seems to be having some liquidity problem and lack customer focus.
                                I buy ONIDA 29 inch color tv on17/3/07 in nanganallur Vasanth & co branch .The gave 3 years waranty.now tv was problem .I complained on 9sep.one tech came.he said that one spare is gone..He said wait for 2 days .After 2 days i called him he said the same answer .Still 2 day he is answering the same.What is going on? my complaint number is [protected].What should i want 2 do?

                                have given so many complains to your department but there is no response.We
                                have called the dapartment everyday they send a new technician everyday and

                                Recently i Bought an Lcd tv from Vasanth&Co, They promised that they will deliver the TV by that day itself. I booked for it by 10.30am in the morning and got the delivery by 2.30pm itself. So I recommend Vasanth &Co for others.
                                On 19/01/2010 i bought a fully automatic samsung washing machine and paid 20000 from Vasath &co thambaram branch. They assured for following day delivery and instalation. Delivery was done on time and no one turned up for installation. I tried to conatct through phone, either the phone is engaged or no one pick up the phone. Finally i visited on 22nd, again they assured for following day, and today the time is 3.30pm no one turned up yet. I could see lot of compaints like this. Cant we make full stop for this issues?                                 Vasanth & Co (Tambaram) is one of the worst guys I've ever dealt with. Had a pathetic experience two days back when I purchased an air-conditioner. I certainly won't recommend these guys.
                                I am N. Vellayan from trichy. I have booked a TVS Whirlpool 1.5 a/c with Vasanth & Co, Mylapre Banch, chennai on 24.10.2010. and paid a advance of Rs. 10, 000/- . The sales person confirmed the delivery of Ac on Monday (25.10.10). But till today, no proper response from the shop and also not returnning my advance. I hope, they are misusing the advance money received from the customers for some other wrong things. Please, Please, I beg to all persons, please do not even step into this worst shop hereaffter.
                                I am currently experienceing the same kind of response from Vasanth & Co., Padi. They have promising to deliver an IFB washing machine since Monday(22/11/10) and till date have not received it. Very poor customer service. I def. will NOT recommend this shop

                                  I went to Vasanth & Co located in KH Road in Bangalore with the intention to check out prices of a/c's. I was met in the front by one of the staff who took to me another person who appeared to be the store-in-charge. This person then asked me my requirements and the moment I took a pen to note down the prices, he refused to give me prices saying they are not interested in the business. When I asked for his name to report to his head office, he started abusing me in foul language and said that he doesnt care. Please BOYCOTT buying products from Vasanth & Co and I request all brands to avoid selling your brands thru Vasanth & Co. They do not know how to talk to customers.

                                  I bought 40" Samsung LCD TV on 16th Jan 2009. They put stamp as "GOODS DELIVERED" and take signature from us. They told that it will deliver to my home Free Delivery by their Van. But till today 20th January they have not delivered the material and they are not giving any proper response for the delay.

                                  Every day they are saying new dated.

                                  The behavious of the staff to the customer is very very poor.
                                  I visited the place a month ago to check the price of a fridge. When I requested them to give the prices, they actually wrote it down on a piece of paper with the model number. They even suggested me to check at other places as it seems they felt confident that their prices are lesser. However, I found lesser prices at E-Zone. This is just to convey that one wrong person at the wrong place does not make the whole place itself bad.

                                  The customer service I received was exemplery.

                                  Sub : Complaint against the failure of TV – ONIDA 29” TruSlim for the 4th time – its new brand genuineness? & advise to replace it, as it is under Warranty

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  With reference to above subject, please note that I bought a TV(29” Onida – TruSlim) from Vasanth&Co, Nanganallur on 18.01.2009 and a warranty period of 2 years given on this TV.

                                  Please note that this TV failed on 09.08.2009 for the 4th time. This TV had failed for 3 times within the first one year period. When it failed for first time-just in 1-1/2 months, I requested to replace the TV itself, but neither Vasanth&Co. nor Onida service center(Kilkattalai) obliged & so other occasions too.

                                  When it failed for 4th time, we registered a complaint (no.[protected]) on 10.08.2009. The Service engineer came on 13.08.2009 and he told he would come back with electronic components to replace the faulty ones. Once again components failure observed as was the previous occasions. But until now 18.08.2009, there is no response or clear date from them on action. Just astonishing to observe a high irresponsive customer service to our repeated telephone calls and personal visits to the Nanganallur shop.

                                  Since a new TV failed again for 4th time in one-and-a-half years, we scrutinize on the genuine nature of TV and feel that the TV itself may not be a NEW one and it was sold to us covering the real truth.
                                  So, it is obvious, a replacement is the only option as the failures cannot be accepted repeatedly for a newly bought material. We do not wish to undergo the mental stress again and again with this kind of non-positive, unrealistic attitude. Hope this is understood.

                                  Ironically, I couldn’t stop my young kids(3 & 12 years) when they goes to other’s house to view TV programs. Our family could not have information/news/entertainment during this period, because Vasanth&Co./Onida service center did not take any action to replace the faulty TV.
