Hello SIr, I had visited Chennai Trade Centre Exhibition conducted by M/s Vasanth and Co on 30th March -2014. I had also paid full amount and purchased a Onida Washing Machine . The sales Person Mr.Chandru had promised that the Product will be delivered by 1st April-2014. But when I enquired on 1st April, the tone in which Mr.Chandru and his team was talking is not like the way they were during the exhibition. It was rude and unprofessional. They are simply asking me to wait every day and are telling me that the Product will be delivered next day. Its been Second Week now and still they are telling me that the product will be delivered shortly Shortly without proper response. Please look into this and help me in this regards on how to file a Consumer Complaint against Vasanth and Co. Regards, Ananth Rao H

    I purchased 42 inch Onida Smart TV, from Vasanth and co Tambaram branch, I was told its a new piece that would be delivered from the godown but when they delivered the TV had 2 scratches in the front screen and multiple scratches on the back side. This was escalated to the dealer (Vasanth & Co) immediately after delivery but didn't get any resolution yet. (4 months) I tried reaching the Onida customer care, initially a service person checked the TV and confirmed it was a manufacturing issue, when I tried reaching his manager he asked me to send in all the photographs of the TV. After few weeks he came back saying this cant be replaced. i am confused now what to be done with this issue. Purchased the TV for 60K with no value for money. Everybody are pinpointing hand on others with no responsible answer. Really frustrated with this issue. Please help to get a resolution of replacing the TV. My details: M.     I ordered lg fridge in vasanth and co. On 2nd Jan 16. They haven't said that my product is out of stock. They billed and confirmed that the product will be delivered in next two days. Still not arrived. Viveks and girias are much better. They at least informed us about the non availability of the stock.Poor customer service. No integrity. Worst experience. Because of false information they were losing their reputational values.

      Vasanth & Co, No 50, South Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai 600 017. TIN : [protected] CST NO:[protected]. This shop has no value for customer. They have no respect to the customers and they do not keep their promise on delivery of products. Read my experience with this shop personals. DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THIS SHOP. THIS IS A SINCERE WARNING TO ALL. DO NOT SUFFER LIKE ME. This is a new Vasanth & Co in this area next to some hospital. There is already an old one which is close to the Bus Stop. I am a very regular customer of the old Vasanth & Co and very satisfied as well. For a change i tried this new shop and guess what i am totally dissatisfied with this shop and the way they treated me as a customer I bought a BOSCH Washing Machine from the new shop. they said at the time of payment that they have stock. I assumed that they had the stock with them. I was promised that the product will be delivered the next day and the technician will fix an appointment the day after tomorrow for a DEMO. But to my worst experience they had to order the product from BOSCH and the company was on holiday due to festival and so i was cheated with delivery time. After regular quarrel with the shop personal and when i was abt to cancel the order they delivered me the product in two days. Then guess what they did not inform BOSCH and the appointment was not booked. I had to call BOSCH after two days to book an appointment for the weekend. The technician comes to my home checks the product and says " Sir, the Machine Stand that you bought will not fit this machine. please go back to the shop and exchange the stand / Washing machine holder along with the plastic cover for the washing machine. I called Vasanth & Co and said the issue, they said we will send the new stand and cover along with our technician and he will fix the machine. the next day the technician calls me and informs sir i have an important work and that i will come on Monday to fix the machine. I told him i will not be available from Monday to Friday and requested to attend the issue immediately. He asks me to take this issue with the shop personal. I call them back again to inform them the same again and they called me back in half an hour and said that it is not possible today. When i insisted to fix the same day, the shop personal started using vulgar words. I asked him to behave properly then he asked me to come to the store directly to replace the stand and that it was too vulgar. I had to go directly to the shop quarrel with the shop personal, asked who spoke to me in such vulgar way over the phone and they say that they don't know who called me or attended my call.

        At vasanth and co in velachery,the receptionist/telephone operator is absolutely redu and very crude too!!!!!!.I have never seen such a character at any service oriented organisation.Even the way she greets you on making a call...OMG...u must hear it to believe it..u can try by calling [protected] or 22553979.I had this horrific experience as i had to call them over and over to get an Godrej AC installed which i purchased from them.She had the audacity to tell me that i was not the only person who purchase a Ac and that i had no other choice but to wait for the company technicians to come and install.I called them after 24 hours of purchase as they(sales man Raji) told me that it would be installed in 6 to 8 hours

          Poor/worst/horrible customer service

          I went and saw LED TV on 29th March, after that received 2 calls from vasanth and co associates for sales pitch. Before buying it they promised to give the product on next day as a min tat and max 2 day. But almost a week over now. Till now it is not delivered. Called Vasant & Co customer care office 10 times, called Bajaj finance five times (This ...... does not even response to your call properly and in top of that vasanth and co have given the delivery responsibility to them) called salesman 5 times who sold that LED tv to me) called Philips regional manager 5 times, messaged him 3 times. But still they haven't taken any step regarding this. I am totally PIST of with their service.

          After 10 days they delivered it. I was suppose to get a cricket bat along with this as a promotional offer, but i didn't. NOW i have to fight for this one. They promised to get it installed on the same day, but 2 days over till my installation is pending. Now Philips guy no. is switched off, Vasanth & Co customer care no. is busy all the time and the salesman never responded to the call.

          Called Philips complaint division directly, now they have given some hope. may be i will get it done by tomorrow hopefully!!!!!!!!!!

            I booked AC Career in exhibition on 31st March 2013 and the product delivered later 4 days... No one has come for installation so far and Stabilizer , A/C stand are not delivered alone with AC product I have paid for everything.. So many times we called up no response.. PLS DON"T Buy any product from Exhibition.. Very poor costumer service. They never attend the phone calls.

              I bought one LG WINDOW A/C LWA3BR1D MODEL (Bill No:[protected] dt.30/09/2012) from VASANTH&CO, KARAIKUDI Branch-630002 and they assured me of
              supplying ONE PREMIER NONSTICK COOKWARE SET(4PCS) within 10 days due to short supply of the stock and the Total amount Rs.19750(including fro COOKWARE) was paid on 30th Nov'12.
              But in spite of my repeated reminders, it is NOT supplied to me till date.
              So,Kindly take necessary immediate action to supply the same as early as possible.

                We ordersd a whirlpol refrigerator in trade centre on 14th oct 2012....... but have not got the delivery till now eventhough paying the full amount in NEt cash......... people there in Vasanth & co saidapet brancjh delivery section also do't attend the calls.... even if they attend the call they say some sought of lie and ultimately don't do the delivery...... when visited directly people there also did not give proper details... one says there is no stock of the fridge the ither says the fridge is another centre and will be despatched but till now there is no response
                i also bought an oven which I had paid full amount on 13/10/2012. But till now no response from vasanth & co. They are not lifting the phone also. Worst service.

                i bought samsumg e490 51 inches plasma 3d tv madipakkam branch on 12 of jan 2013 ..they said they will deliver the product in 4 day..but its been more than 16 days i haven't got the delivery..

                I have purchased a refrigerator at the cost of Rs.20300 in vasanth&co velacherry. They have told me to deliver in two days. But they dint deliver the product I have called them and asking about the product they have said they do not have stock and will deliver in 1 week. Without stock why they are selling the product. Still, i dint receive the refrigerator.

                  Vasanth & Co - Vellachery Branch

                  I purchased several items from this branch worth Rs.98,000.00.All items were delivered next day.The AC unit installers from LG arrived and opened the box only to find that it is used A/C could have been used for more than a year, even a dead bee was sticking to the A/C unit with full of dust and dirt inside and outside. The branch replaced the indoor unit next day and another team from LG came to install.
                  This time the indoor and outdoor units do not match. After three days a new unit was replaced after almost 100 calls to the branch.

                  Then comes the story of the washing machine.The installer from IFB arrived to install the WM and he opened the box.The IFB machine was damaged in the bottom and he could not install the mesh.When I called the branch this arrogrant person named Mr.Sekhar answered the phone and he was very disresptful to me.

                  Then I called several time to the corporate office to discuss this issue.First this the ladies in the reception do not pick-up the phone after 10 calls they picked up and said the manager is on vacation call tomorrow.I was frustrated.I rang up again they connected me to one Mr.Michael, he helped a bit and a new A/C unit and Washing machine unit were delivered the same day.

                  Now comes the Fridge, I ordered a brand new fridge and a stand. They delivered a Maroon colour fridge and a blue color stand.Total mismatch.

                  They gave me a gift box of non stick cookware,when I opened it the pan handle was broken and the broken piece is missing.

                  I would have made almost 250 calls to the branch and the corporate office till now my money has not been given back, my fridge stand has not been replaced and nobody properly answers the phone.

                  My recommendation is never buy any item from Vasanth and Co.They are very bad in customer service and they are frauding common people.

                    I bought blue star ac dated on[protected] In thirunelveli. The product is in a damaged condition while opening the package. So I can make a compliant to vasanth&co about the damage their response is too bad. After 1 week they replaced the damaged part. But the thing they replaced is not a new one it is already used by someone else. Now the ac is not working properly. Whenever we make a compliant to them they won't respond properly. I fully dissatisfied with vasanth&co. They won't respond and they won't replace the unit. I suffered a lot in purchasing.

                      Purchased a washing machine at Vasanth & co, Branch - Mylapore on 25th August 2012, while making payment for machine, they have confirmed that the washing machine would be delivered on 26th August 2012 before noon. However I got the machine delivered on 27th August 2012 at 8.pm after several follow ups.
                      When I opened the carton box, I got shocked, because its display piece, some scratches is there (Big and small). Clearly it is stated that the machine was already used one.
                      I logged a complained at Vasanth & Co, regarding this. As usual they never care about customer. They are telling some procedure like, someone has to come from Whirlpool, and he has to certify that the piece was demo (Displayed). I waited till the person come and check the product.
                      Today around 1’0’ Clock, that person has come and confirmed that the piece is displayed one (not new piece) or demo and some scratches are there.
                      I don’t know, To whom I have to contact for replacement?
                      Can anyone assist me?

                        I have purchased a IFB washing machine from the Vasanth & co Saidapet branch located near Aranganathan subway.But even after five days gone i haven,t received the washing machine so for. Even without mentioning product serial No. they sold it to me. Now they don,t have the stock. How this type of people are having 3500 crore worth business.So please ensure availability of stock and verify the serial no of the product to be entered in the bill to avoid fraud in sales.                           Never buy products from Vasanth & Co if that requires installation from branded Product company.
                          Vasanth & CO never informs about such installation and you will have that product as new without usable.

                          The customer service from Vasanth & co is very poor. So, never step inside.

                            This is to complain Vasanth & Co that, for the sake of your fat profit margin on AC, Vasanth & Co recommended "HITACHI" and it gives n number of problems and I am badly running behind service technician.

                            Desc in Chronological Order:
                            On Wednesday 23rd May 2012, I visited T-Nagar Vasanth and Co to get a Bluestar AC as I own same brand for my other house but the sales representative urged me to buy Hitachi saying the cost of it is same as Bluestar, also has four way cooling feature and second best brand in AC.

                            Vasanth and Co gave single booster stabilizer for 1300 rupees where as Hitachi 1.5 Ton requires double booster for compressor to start at addition of rupees 2950 on exchange that I had to bear - Sales representative was not aware and his promise on same price is wrong as the stabilizer cost is addition of 2950 rupees.

                            In our flat of 24 houses, other brand ACs are working fine with single booster. The flat is near transformer and no fluctuations in voltage. Also other high voltage appliances like heater, washing machine etc are working fine.


                            One week is going to pass and I still do not have AC operational. Even after the double boost the AC compressor is not working......

                            Conclusion:
                            Vasanth & Co is not aware of product but recommend it for Vasanth & Co benefit alone without knowing the hidden cost and other problems customer will face.

                              On 25th of May 2012, I bought 2 ACs(Samsung & Carrier) from Vasanth & Co, T.Nagar. While purchasing, one of their executive Mr.X told us that ACs will be delivered the very next day(26th) as they have stocks ready. It was very urgent for us as we were about to open our showroom. I told him clearly that it it MUST to deliver within a day and if NOT, i'll buy from direct carrier & samsung company. He promised that it'll be delivered on said time.

                              Complaints;
                              1.But even after 1.5 days he hasn't delivered. Only after repeatedly calling he said he'll send samsung alone since Carrier was NOT available. Disgusting, isn't? Executives are like that way. With no other go, I've accepted to send samsung on 27th night and carrier on 28th. Well, As he promised, I've received samsung on that night. But with another problem.

                              2.He said he'll be sending AC in Vasant & co's vehicle. But he sent it via auto & asked us to pay Rs.200. Jeez, should NOT he have informed us earlier? I believe that's how people should do & business people MUST do. In this case, I should have NOT paid, but they were keep on requesting & hence paid half of the amount of Rs.100.

                              3.Now he has to arrange Samsung Electrician & Carier Electrician. He failed to do so. It's 28th and he is neither attending my phone calls nor sending any electricians. Our 65,000 seems to be hanging in the cloud.

                              Oh yeah, on 28th night we've received Carrier AC. This time they sent in their own vehicle & still we've been forced to pay Rs.100. How cheap, huh?

                              This is how Vasanth & Co behaves almost for all customers in all branches.. .So, never step in...
                              agree.they threaten customers as it is Vasanth N Cos company. He has a rowdy background so yeah his staffs follow him as directed by him.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I booked Blue star brand Split AC and payed through credit card on 19.05.2012 and asked Vasanth & Co to do door delivery to my home in Thiruvallur. AC delivered on 20.05.2012 but nobody came to installation of AC till 22.05.2012. On 22.05.2012, Blue star person came for installation, but found that the indoor unit model is different from the model we ordered ( On pack the model written is the model we ordered, but inside the pack is other model). So the blue star person asked to get correct model and went. From that day myselt and my wife calling Vasanth & Co, North Usman road, T. Nagar branch everyday, but everyday we get reply that tomorrow the indoor unit will be delievered. Till today 29.05.2012 we didn't received the correct indoor AC model. We payed them in full, but till waiting to get our room air conditioned

                                  I have booked 32'' LG LCD TV on 01_01_2012 in Vasanth & Co thambaram branch. Sales person who handled the ordered told us the free gift as induction stove which will be delivered with TV. Also, told that they had TV in stock we can get it the next of booking. We paid 9100/= Rs advance remaining amount will be EMI 8 months with Bajaj finance(The next day they sanctioned the EMI plan and called me for insurance plan..). After that they delivered TV after 10 days. They didn't even call and inform us the reason of delay Also their contact phone number is always busy....
                                  when we get TV we asked about the gift which promised by the sales person to delivery person and he told us to collect it from the shop. we called to the shop again the phone was not working... finally we catch sales manager of the shop through another person phone and we asked about the promised new year gift. He told that there is not gift for the order... It really very cheating sales by vasanth & co we affected mentally...

On April 15th from Vasanth & Co.Thanjavur Branch thru Mr.Thiagu, we paid 500 rs as a advance and order for a Voltas Gold 1.0 ton A/c and deliver in chennai-Saidapet.And 25th april we order for the same A/c, But mr.Thiagu told that Voltas Gold item is not available, so we asked him which is available and finalised Voltas Split A/c 1.5 ton Silver(3S).We finalised because of the availability and promised by Mr.Thiagu to deliver from Vasanth & Co- Saidapet Branch.So we booked the train ticket(Only for this work/Task) from Thanjavur and contact your Saidapet Branch on April 27 th.There Mr.Selva Raju told that Our ordered VoltasA/C is not available and also his(Selva Raju) way of speaking is so weird/unhappy(Better to send him coaching Class to "How to tackle the Customer").He still told to contact tomorrow.So 28 th April we gone to your Saidapet Branch and met Mr.Selva Raju, he told that still the item has not yet arrived.Then we asked(Kindly note surely not with anger because we paid the money in thanjavur and even we discussing with Mr.Thiagu, he replying politely) MR.selvaraju, for this work only we come from thanjavur, for that he told in LOUD VOICE"what we are going to do your item if available here and will inform us once he received the item. Than we ask Mr.Mari(saidapet Branch) to claim a report, he informed the your claim/report Office address.We report to Mr.Subramnaiam(Mbl No;[protected]) really a nice person and even this is not his problem and asked us sorry for the problem caused.We told him kindly arrange the A/c item as soon as possible. He told today (28th april) and gave his mobile Number and told us to handover the xerox copy of Bill details to Mr.Mari, we submit the xerox bill.So evening 6 0 clock we called Mr.Subramaniam.he told that he informed saidapet branch.

                                  And 7 0 clock we called Mr.Thiagu(Thanjavur branch), he told that this item is coming from north India and that'why it is getting late. And finally we asked him that to deliver the A/c by tomorrow(29 th April) with installation(Because we booked the train ticket), if not kindly cancel our order, he approved and promised to fix our ordered A/c by tomorrow without fail.

                                  2)We are not sitting ideally to send this message.
                                  3)We are sending this to you may be this type of MISBEHAVIOUR, ACTION is not known by the Head of the department.

                                  Vasanth & Co - Vellachery Branch

                                  I purchased several items from this branch worth Rs.98, 000.00.All items were delivered next day.The AC unit installers from LG arrived and opened the box only to find that it is used A/C could have been used for more than a year, even a dead bee was sticking to the A/C unit with full of dust and dirt inside and outside. The branch replaced the indoor unit next day and another team from LG came to install.
                                  This time the indoor and outdoor units do not match. After three days a new unit was replaced after almost 100 calls to the branch.

                                  Then comes the story of the washing machine.The installer from IFB arrived to install the WM and he opened the box.The IFB machine was damaged in the bottom and he could not install the mesh.When I called the branch this arrogrant person named Mr.Sekhar answered the phone and he was very disresptful to me.

                                  Then I called several time to the corporate office to discuss this issue.First this the ladies in the reception do not pick-up the phone after 10 calls they picked up and said the manager is on vacation call tomorrow.I was frustrated.I rang up again they connected me to one Mr.Michael, he helped a bit and a new A/C unit and Washing machine unit were delivered the same day.

                                  Now comes the Fridge, I ordered a brand new fridge and a stand. They delivered a Maroon colour fridge and a blue color stand.Total mismatch.

                                  They gave me a gift box of non stick cookware, when I opened it the pan handle was broken and the broken piece is missing.

                                  I would have made almost 250 calls to the branch and the corporate office till now my money has not been given back, my fridge stand has not been replaced and nobody properly answers the phone.

                                  My recommendation is never buy any item from Vasanth and Co.They are very bad in customer service and they are frauding common people.

                                    we have bought one Panasonic Semi automatic Washing machine in Vasanth & CO ( T.nagar) vide their Bill no :[protected] dt. 4th Jan 2012.

                                    Till date, no arrangements have made by them for the Product demonstration. we have called all the lan line nos. but no one is responding.

                                    I have also talked to the PANASONIC customer care, what they are saying is, they need their dealer ( Vasanth & CO ) to register the product details with them. But so far, Vasanth & Co have not registered with the Panasonic, We are suffering a lot, we have tried to the following nos.

                                    we need your intervention in this regard. plz help.

                                      I purchased Sansui LCD TV from Vasanth & Co which is in Chennai near to Adyar terminal.
                                      At the time of purchasing their sales man named Aasif told that this tv support each and every feature.We asked for USB testing, he told dont worry everything will work. When we came at home and checked video from USB is not coming in the list and mp3 files and images files are coming. When I called to the dealer and talk to Aasif (sales man)...

                                      Hi All,

                                      Just brought Samsung double door refrigerator on 18/8/2011. Since the product is not functioning well from the next day of purchase... I loose confident on the quality of the product sold by vasanth & co Royapuram and I want to return the product entirely and go with the new one.

                                      For that sake today 20/8/2011, I went back to the Vasanth & co royapuram and requested them to cancel the bill since I am not satisfied with the product due to the failure in it.

                                      But I am totally shocked with the way they behaved in the showroom, Without any dignity and also in a very rude manner stating that there are not responsible for any product sold. It has to be only done with the Samsung on my efforts and risk...

                                      And also in this regards there is no option for me to contact any other vasanth & co persons or help... even in their site the contact us page is with a very big bug in captcha as attached... so that I can't able to provide my compliant to them...

                                      If Vasanth & Co is not responsible for any product sold by them, then why should consumer has to buy any product from them... and why they call them self as "India's no1 dealer" if they don't want to deal any product after sale.
