Hello,

I've been using vodafone services (Mob No. +91 [protected]) since[protected]. I've been using iPhone 3gs as my handset since June-2011.

Last monthe on 17the Dec 2011, 4.56 PM I received a service message from vodafone saying theat "Due to a technical upgrade in our system, you will receive fresh settings for GPRS connectivity. Pls save theis settings on your handset." And from 21the Dec 2011 my Vodafone Mobile Connect (VMC) plan was changed to some iPhone internet plan. I've attached snapshot of thee same for reference.

As per VMC plan i was paying 99 Rs. for unlimited internet usage. Which I was paying since 2009 and even after I started using iPhone as my handset (Since June 2011). But because of thee change of my internet plan witheout bringing it to my notice eitheer by email or furtheer messaging, my internet bill shoot up. And it crossed thee credit limit which originally was 900 Rs. Since, 24the Dec my all services were deactivated because of theis. After several request and visiting vodafone store and constantly trying at vodafone complaint no. 198 theey've
not responded to my problem. On 7the Jan 2012 theey just increased my credit limit so theat I can use my services (apart from internet service) which is not fair on theeir part. In fact last time when I talked to thee senior supervisor she just bluntly asked me to pay my bill. Which I'll not pay because it is not my fault at all.

I've suffered a lot because of theis problem.
Kindly request you to do thee needful in theis matter.

At the Time I told your vodafone Executive MR. CHINTAN for Give me duplicate prepaid sim card.then told me waiting just 5 minutes. i was waiting 45 minutes but no reply. i was reqested MR. CHINTAN plz give me duplicate sim card early as possible. But Mr. Chintan not give me duplicate sim card WHY.........? Bcoz my data not scanned in executive PC.this is not my mistake.. plz give me reply....

      Sir,

      I would like to bring to notice the exceptionally poor service and customer care solutions provided by Vodafone. I requested for Blackberry services to be activated on my mobile on 9th of January 2012, and the requested was accepted and my balance of Rs. 399 was deducted but the services were not activated and when I called customer care, they did not provide me with any information. Moreover, everyone kept pushing me from one deptt. to another. It has been almost 20 days that I have not yet got any solution while I called up blackberry helpline, the Himachal Pradesh Vodafone customer care but no one provided me with any solution. My Handset has absolutely no problem. It is working fine but my BB services are showing as not connected and the Blackberry Enterprise server is also not connected. I am sick and tired of calling up the customer care people in different departments and no one is helping me out. Yesterday when I called up the customer care people and talked to a team leader named Manisha and she told me that the plan is not active on my mobile. Plus, when I talked about escalating the matter, she asked me to wait for another 24 hours and she would forward my number to the concerned people. No the EDGE on my BB was showing in Caps after midnight but the Blackberry Enterprise Server is still not connected. It is a loss of money, time and peace of mind. What should I do in this scenario. I havent been able to use the services even after paying for them. and Now I am not sure that if I request again, I would lose my money again without getting the desired services. Please help me out on this matter else changing the service provider would be the last solution. Vodafone has terrible services. My mobile no. is [protected]

      Vodafone — Blackberry enterprise

      I have a blackberry storm handset and have BIS(Blackberry internet service) active on it. Now here is my problem. I have downloaded the youtube app for my handset from the website. However it does not work on my storm. It gives me an error that it cannot open tunnel. java.IOException. This is a java error . Now, I have relatives in UK and canada, both with this handset. Youtube works perfectly at both places. I called customer care(vodafone enterprise solutions), and instead of solving my problem, they told me to delete the application! They said that I should not install any applications on my device. WHY? I also went to a vodafone care shop and showed this to them.. They said that I cannot view youtube videos on my blackberry internet service. On asking why, they refused to tell me an answer..A little research on the blackberry forums led me to the problem. Apps like youtube need an APN. I called vodafone and they promptly refused to give me an APN.NOW HERE IS MY QUESTION. WHY CANT I VIEW YOUTUBE VIDEOS ON MY BLACKBERRY STORM?? I CANNOT STREAM MUSIC FROM ONLINE RADIO SOFTWARES!!! IF I AM PAYING FOR A SERVICE, WHY DOES IT NOT MEET WORLD STANDARDS????
      I agree with you, but I think its more to do with 3G bandwidth than service blockage.
      I'm sure as soon as we have 3G in Mumbai & other places we will be able to just what anyone else around the world can.
      hey i hve got the same problem wid the vodafone services.. i have activated wid my 399 mnthly blackberry services but there hasnt been any activation tho my bb serivce plan is active.. my bb is not connected to the server.
      i have also been calling to the customer care wid no proper respnse.i guess chngin de provider is de best option.

          Dear Sir,

          I have purchased a vodafone sim card (postpaid) on 04/01/2012, (number- [protected]). I selected the plan 'corporate 149' which includes 200 free sms and I called customer care to confirm the same.
          But customer care replied that, the plan contains only 100 free sms (instade of 200). Also there was a deduction of Rs. 50 at the time of activation for std calls @ 50paise/min which wasen't explied earlier.

          I would be glad if you respond this querry and give me the proper justice.

              Hi,

              My name is Vanish Acharya, I am a corporate customer of Vodafone and I work for WNS Global Services Pvt. Ltd. My current Vodafone numbers are [protected] (Corporate Number) and [protected]. Following is the explanation of my complaint.

              I purchased a Vodafone corporate number [protected] (Account number 8.11469298.00.00.101663) in November 2007 and I continued using the number till February 2008 without any billing or network issues. In the month of February 2008 I made a cheque payment (CITI Bank Cheque Number 505899) of 1500INR to Vodafone. After ten days my outgoing services were barred and called Vodafone customer service to know the reason and I was informed that the reason was due to nonpayment of bill then I explained the agent that I have made a cheque payment and also provided the cheque number then the agent informed that the cheque was bounced then I called my Bank to check on the same but I was informed by my bank that they never received ant cheque from Vodafone for clearance, then I again called Vodafone customer service and spoke to another agent who still was not able to help me then asked for an escalation and spoke to a supervisor who then checked and told me that they have received the cheque but it was never sent for clearance and the supervisor apologized and activated my outgoing services. After few more days (On February 18 2008) again my outgoing was barred and I again called Vodafone and the same thing was repeated but in the end they again activated my outgoing service and I was happy about, but my happiness did not last for a long time because again after a few more days my outgoing service was barred and then I again called Vodafone customer service and I was given the same reason for restriction of the service, this time I was very upset and really got frustrated and I explained the agent about the same story and I asked the agent to activate my service and call me back by the next day morning with a status of the cheque I had given to Vodafone but to surprise me or rather to put me in deep shock the agent told me that I am the one who is in need and I should call them if I want to know the status. The next day I checked and my service was still not reactivated then I called my bank and Vodafone had still not sent the cheque for clearance so I stopped the payment of that cheque and called Vodafone and informed about the same. In the later months I got calls from the legal department of Vodafone and I explained them the entire story and I told them that I am really ready to meet them in the court, and after that I never got calls from any departments of Vodafone.

              On June 05, 2009 I bought another Vodafone corporate number [protected] and on October 03, 2009 I paid my bill of 986INR but after two days my outgoing service was barred and on calling Vodafone I was informed that I have exceeded my credit limit then I made a payment of 1000INR but again on October 14, 2009 my outgoing service was barred and I called the Vodafone customer service and spoke with Shadab who said that my unbilled amount had gone up to 2600INR which I knew was incorrect so I asked for a supervisor but Shadab refused to transfer the call to a supervisor but as I refused hang up the call without speaking with a supervisor so he placed my call on hold and after 10 minutes my call was placed on mute but I did not disconnect then again the call was placed on hold and after 5 minutes came the supervisor Jagdeep Singh. Mr. Singh was very rude and just said that his system is down and cannot help then I said I will wait till the system is restored then Mr. Singh told me that I was talking crap and disconnected. After an hours time I got a message from Vodafone informing to make a payment of 2694INR on my old disconnected account to avoid disconnection of service on this account.

              Following are my questions to Vodafone:

              1}. I gave the cheque of 1500INR to Vodafone on February 02, 2008 then why was the cheque sent for clearance on March 06, 2008?
              2}. Why did Vodafone disconnect my outgoing services thrice in the month of February?
              3}. If the cheque was bounced, then why did Vodafone reactivate my outgoing service on the 12th and 18th of February, 2008?
              4}. If the payment of Vodafone number [protected] was not made then why did Vodafone disconnect the services of numbers [protected] and [protected]? As these numbers dint had anything to do with the previous number.
              5}. Why didn’t Vodafone call me before disconnecting the services of my new numbers?
              6}. Why did the Customer Service agent lie me, that the usage of my new number has gone up-to 2600INR.

              I want Vodafone to activate my services ASAP and waive the bill of my Vodafone Numbers [protected] and [protected] for month October 2009 as I am not getting the services in this month on both the numbers. I would also want Vodafone to compensate for all the inconvenience caused. I would also want Mr. Jagdeep Singh (Supervisor Vodafone Customer Service) to call me and apologize for unprofessional conversation he had with on a customer service call.

              I would appreciate a prompt and a satisfactory response in this matter

              It had furious experience of service at your Karli Baug - Vodafone office .

              On[protected] i went to the office and ask them to change my bill paln from Post Paid to Pre Paid, in a first instance the officer said that your add on card need to be changed first and the next day we can change the primary card(It is Rule???!!!). I said OK, here is the add on card along with the relevat documents and pls process the request. The officer take the application and give onother SIM and said that it will be activated after 8:00 pm (On[protected].

              I request them that i am going to NASIK and will not be availabel for couple of days, so i take the forms and attached relevant documents as i did it for my add on card and confirm with the officer that my cousin will come on Next day and you can take the application and process for changing the bill plan.

              He said OK, we can process the next day,there were holidays and my cousin went on Monday[protected] in the morning to the office and submitted the application.               My question is why my cousin was not attended properly(i Know this was done to gain the three-four days rental of the plan) and to my surprice/ Shock, they did not bother to call / sms that the application was not done(or may be not process if you will not collect the New SIM and the uasge bill) and you have to submit once again.


              NOW - I want everything in black and white from you for the following details :

              1)My plan should be chage from Post paid to Pre paid - with effect from[protected].

              2)I will not pay exept the usage for this three-four days(From[protected] to[protected]

              3) Confirm that All my activated services are CANCELED .

              4) Best Prepaid Plan details for both of my SIM.

              5) Immediate service for the change of Plan, I will submit the application BUT the kareli buag office have to arrange for the documents(as i had already submitted twice and one time they have destroyed it - By their own without informing)

              Pls do not make my mind to go for further escalation / actions.

              This is regards to my vodafone account([protected]) payment that I made at Kiosk center at M2K in Sector-3 but has not been updated on my account. I recieved the hand made reciept from the customer care outlet that is located there and I forwarded it to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com on December 16, 2010 explaining everything about my issue & got the revert on Decenber 18, 2010 that these people need 48 working hours but I did not recieve any revert. After that I asked for any update but nothing happened. Below mentioned are the reference number for both the emails.

              I would like to bring to your attention that call service on my Vodafone number ******4688 has been barred due to exceeding of credit limit. I had visited a Vodafone Store in Abids area on 6/6/2011 and they asked to me to make an interim payment, which I paid Rs 1,000 towards my outstanding bill for the month of May 2011. The customer care representative assured me that the issue will be resolved. However despite her assurance my call service has been barred again today (6/7/2011). I am very unhappy with this inconsistent behavior shown by Vodafone. Being a corporate customer, I feel a priority service should be delivered.

              Another concern is the unbilled balance that is showing in my account, which creating the credit limit to exceed unnecessarily, since I have signed up for BlackBerry Unlimited package of Rs 599, my unbilled amount should not exceed beyond that in addition with the monthly rental of Rs 199. I am hardly using my phone to have an unbilled amount of over Rs 4,000.00 A screen shot of My account is shown below with the unbilled usage amount. Moreover the rate at which Black Berry service is billed at is absurd, in a matter of 3 days unbilled usage of Rs 4,000 has been charged. There is no disclosure on how the Black Berry Unlimited Plan rates are arrived and how the service functions. Please ensure that the matter is resolved at the earliest, enabling me to utilize the service uninterrupted.

              1)I have been charged more than my "Credit Limit" (current credit limit Rs. 1700), which shouldn't have been done and my services should have been stopped at that moment itself when the credit limit would have reached, and

              2) I have been given wrong information about "Blackberry Plan" and wasn't informed that my IM and email ID usage would be chargeable. I was only told that Internet usage,as in Vodafone Live & WAP sites would be chargeable. Hence I have been charged Rs 3071.10.

              My complaint is that I was given incomplete and wrong information while activating my Blackberry plan?Furthermore, as to why was my bill allowed to exceed credit limit (Rs[protected]=1920) without my permission?

              Due to the above mentioned problems, I have been charged Rs 3620/- for my bill, which has FAR EXCEEDED my credit limit and expectation. I was given a meagre credit limit of 200 Rs in the beginning and my outgoing services (calls, messages and Internet) were barred when i exceeded that.               On a logical ground if i have to ask will you keep using data service knowing that you will get charged for the same wherein you can get add on for Rs 500 with 3G services. I use data package just to use watsaap application & surf facebook. Now my services are getting barred on numerous occassions for crossing my credit limit. Imagine an individual who never had a bill over Rs800 in last 3 months suddenly gets a service tax on his bill for Rs 534.84. I would request you to treat this as a misselling from your executive just to improve their sales stats. I refused to pay this bill under any circumstances.
              I will make it clear again that i am not disputing the usage but the wrong information given from sales team & no notification given by the company for the same thorugh message or call. Also if you have the call recording for the sales team please refer the same & if possible i want a copy for my reference too.
              This is with reference to the molibe number [protected], on 26/12/2013 I changed my plan to unlimited Internet and same has been billed from the mentioned date. But I recently noticed that you are also billing the earlier Internet plan charges of Rs.650+Tax per month. I would like request you to kindly look into the issue and I want they refund the Internet plan charges of Rs.650+Tax per month from 26/12/2013 to 28/04/2014 . as I Vodafone said they record the calls for internally so they have to check their executive called me on 28th March 2014 around 8:06 Pm and said to me that they adjust my money in next bill cycle but they didn't adjust. And now I complained again to Vodafone care so their executive saying they don't Adjust or refund any money.

              1. I have taken the GK199 plan . In the plan, Local charges should be charged @ 0.5 Rs./Pulse and 200 Minutes are free for the plan. The local calls are 213.20 Pulse. Then it should be 213.20-200 = 13.20 Pulse
              and 13.20*0.5 = 06.60 Rs.only... Vodafone have charged us 442 Rs. So request your help to revert to Rs. 6.60 instead of 442!!!
              2. They have charged the VF Mobile connect 72 Rs. I have not used any internet service for the said period. Request your help to revert the internet charge also.
              3. Also charge us the service tax on only final amount after deducting above 2 charges.

                  I applied for port-out from vodafone to Tata Docomo. but, they rejected my request twice, after my further investigations from customer care of Vodafone they said since I have an outstanding bill , they reject my port-out application. Even though they have my cancel check with them.
                  When I paid my bill in advanced they informed to me that since I had corporate plan activation this port out was not happened.
                  How to deal in this situation ?
                  Can I log a complain in "TRAI" or consumer court or something like that?

                  Vodafone — rejecting port out

                  i tried for porting out my mobile number [protected] from Vodafone to BSNL. the application given to BSNL on 25.01.2011. on 28.1.11 i got a message from Vodafone that my porting request is being processed with UPC VL111319. i got a message that it was rejected due to UPC mismatch, the very next second. on advice from BSNL, i requested for another UPC and again the request was given. with new UPC (VL128229) the same process happened again on 31.1.11. BSNL authorities took the matter and told that the matter is under disussion with Vodafone authorities for whom they have many such complaints. again on 8.2.11 i enquired the matter with Vodafone and they told me that the request was rejected due to pending bill generated on 1.2.11. i asked how it happened on 31.1.11 that rejection was done on bill generated next day. they were blabbering silly excuses and i told them that i will pay the bill immediately and i should get the port out. now i have paid the bill on 9.2.11 and waiting for the response from Vodafone. if nothing happens for 2 days i may be forced go to court. kindly look into the matter.

                      I was using Vodafone postpaid connection (1.5 years) and my average bill was 1000 rs per month. My credit limit given by the provider was 9000 rs.In october I paid 864 rs as my billing amount and after that suddenly I got a call from vodafone that your services will be barred as you have 30,000 rs o[censored]nbilled amount.
                      I went to Vodafone store and had a talk with manager.They admitted that its a mistake and told me that my bill is 2000 rs for calls and rest 28000 is for data usage. I explained that if my credit limit is 9000 then howcome my bill is 30000? so they said that we will manage your bill to 10000. i disagreed for that as well and after that they asked me to pay 7000. Again i disagreed and i said i'll pay only 2000 rs which is my actual bill then they asked me to pay 6150rs. and again i disagreed.
                      Now they are haressing me every now and then and threatening me by saying that we will send Police and will send court notice.
                      My Point is that if my credit limit is 9000 how can my bill cross that limit and reached to 30,000 which is around 4 times of my limit.

                      Even I got an sms this morning saying that services on my number have been restricted as my bill has exceeded the Credit Limit. My credit limit is Rs. 6000.

                      Later in the day when I called the Customer Care, they couldn't even explain what exactly is my bill and how much I'm supposed to pay in order to get my services restored. What the hell!! She said that I would have to pay at least 80% of my bill for it to be restored. So I asked whether I should calculate 80% of 18k, which she said is my unbilled amount till date. And I shouted at her saying how and why should I pay 80% of 18K which adds up to 14k. I usually pay 1000 to 1500 per month with net/gprs activated on my phone. Then she faltered. And wasn't quite sure of what she was saying. It's making me so angry that they themselves don't how the bills are calculated and then they are restricting my services. What the heck!!!

                      I don't understand their billing details. They just want to confuse us by mentioning different details when we ask for the bill.

                      I have found the Top Management people's names and email IDs. If they don't do anything about my bill then, I will send each and every one of them a mail about how unprofessionally sick this is. Let them be inconvenienced with the complaints!!!

                        I had taken Vodafone Mobile connect plan of Rs. 99/month that gives 2 GB of free usage data.
                        When my bill arrived, I had two components showing VF Mobile Connect and Vodafone live! with charges of 287 Rs. and 600 Rs. respectively.
                        The charges against VF Mobile Connect were discounted. However, the charges against Vodafone Live were levied.

                        When I logged a complaint with them, they responded that they are two different service points hence they are charged separately.

                        I tried to understand the difference to which the customer care executive responded that VF mobile connect is advanced service and Vodafone live is a basic service. Even, if the customer has subscribed to advanced services, he will be charged if he uses the basic services for browsing purpose.

                        This is fooling with customer knowledge as I don't have technical knowledge. Basic services should not be charged if I have subscribed for the Advanced plan.

                        The wrong charging has gone beyond 1,000/- Rs. in just two months.

                        I need my refund as this is a case of cheating the customer and fooling me due to lack of technical knowledge.

I am using all the mobile providers no's and dont have any problem such like this. But Vodafone chennai having representative who dont know to respect the customers and they are using abusing language.

                            We bought a number from Vodafone Ministore located near Konark campus, Vman Nagar Pune on Dec 5th.

                            That number was later disconnected because Vodafone store never submitted the documents. On an inquiry at same store on 22nd January the vodafone representatives misbehaved, claimed that it is your fault and happens with every one so you should not complain about it, on further questioning they got cheesed off and started screaming their lungs out and get lost was the statement made by them.

                            While this humiliating treatment from them they accepted that they may use the customer documents as they like, even for non vodafone use.

                            We contacted Ashish K - Nodal officer but to our disappointment he is least bothered about it. To this vodafone store people called up and with a smug asked me a question - "Kya ukhad liya Nodal ko mail karkey? No one will give a S**T, I can behave as I want," is what he stated.

                            On following Monday, Manish who manages that particular store asked us to go fly a kite and threaten us that they have the documents and he put a distributor online who further added, Vodafone can do anything they please with documents and so can we.


                            At least for people at Vodafone Mini store I am certain they misuse the documents..

                            Now that can be any fraudulent activity,. Who knows they might be helping terroists? At this point we can only imagine how they are using it.

                            Besides, come whatever may, the people at vodafone mini store will never apologize for their behavior. Nodal officer has come to their support and this shows they will run the business as it is and many people will un knowingly be cheated on in most illegal manner.

                            Vodafone will never take ownership of this, Never.

                            So If you people (General Public) can see this - Call Manish on his number [protected] and tell him public awareness of his scams is going public now. Even if Vodafone and Ashish K - Nodal officer has decided to cover up the entire issue, they can't run away for long.



                            To whomsoever is reading this, check the language used by Vodafone people. I garuntee That store will still run operational with same set of people, no actions will be taken.

                                I am a prepaid customer using you as a service provider for the past 5~6 years, and this is the most horrifying and pathetic service I have experienced.
                                I had charged my telephone on the 8th Jan 2012 at 10.15am with the sum of INR 804 (402 x 2)- transaction ID - KK[protected] & KK[protected] after which I had a balance of INR 804 in my account.
                                After which I had made a few local calls (5 to 10 calls), to my dismay on 9th Jan 2012 morning I discovered that all my calls have been bared and that my balance is zero.

                                I had been to the BTM Layout Vodafone customer care center the same day 9th Jan 2012 at 7:00 pm taken a token (Token reference 152), waited for 45minutes for my turn and then explained the scenario to your executive (Ms Deepa) who checked on the systems and said that the deductions were not justified and the error would be cleared in 24 hours. When I persisted to know the reason she directed me to her manager (Lady- name not known). I finally got to meet the manager after 30 minutes who rudely asked me to leave stating that as explained by Ms Deepa, the needful can be done by 24hrs and we cant help you as we have to go home further the system is not updated, so please wait and see after 24 hrs you will get a call from Customer care updating you on the deductions if any and updating your balance.
                                I left disheartened that a service provider like Vodafone would employ such irrational, rude and ignorant people at their customer care centres, further hoping that the amount deducted unjustly wby Vodafone would be returned to me after 24hrs.

                                I waited hopeful that the amount would be credited as said by your employee- but as I received no more confirmation from Vodafone I had to leave behind all my important work in office travel from Ulsoor and get to BTM Layout Vodafone customer care center (10th Jan 2012 at 7:20 pm). Where I met Mr Naveen ( Vodafone executive) who again checked the system and said that there is no reason for any deductions and the same would be corrected within 48hrs – he said that he has spoken to the concerned customer care executives- prepaid services who has confirmed that the necessary errors would be updated and the balance returned within 48hrs- and asked me to keep the complaint no reference SR[protected].

                                Hopeful of the same being updated as confirmed I did not recharge my phone until today 12th Jan 2012 noon when I had to make a few urgent calls- I again recharged my account with INR 222 –( transaction ID - KK[protected])
                                After which I made 3 local calls at 8:0pm now my balance has again become 0 and no outgoing calls.

                                What is happening to Vodafone? Why are you unjustly deducting my money?

                                I need an complete explanation for the same and my balance duly returned within the next 12 hours failing which I shall be forced to file a complaint in the consumer court , for theft and harassments by Vodafone.

                                After addressing the same on the Face book site-- and after 10 days they tell me it`s for internet usage and you may go the customer care office if you need any more details--- This is after persistence that the deduction is unexplained--i also checked my phone(htc) with the service center who told me that there is nothing wrong with the phone and spontaneous downloads are not possible.. If so Vodafone is .. They probably
                                thaught that if the supreme court rules against them in the 2000cr tax scam-- they would need money -- and hence this fraudulent deduction.

                                      Hello in vodafone they have 2value packs with same cost Gprs vodafone mobile connect they have 199 monthly rental with 4gb pack, also again another vodafone mobile connect pack 199 with 10kb for 10paisa with out any discounts. Regarding customers get confused and bill where coming huge amount. This is fully cheated by vodafone so as per TRAI Regulation please conform with vodafone and take ness action for fake pack. Also in chennai post paid they mentioned in website voice mail available when conform with customer care they told its withdrawn from 2010itself. Kindly check..

                                        dear sir i am vodafone dealer mobile no [protected].by mistake i have done recharge of rs1000 to customer mobile no-[protected] & got taktime rs-8only. When i call to dealer help line they told me that they can reverse the transaction when i request she did the revasal but i got rs 8 in my account. Someone please help me to get my 992 rs back.
