i have recently purchased a vodafone net cruise data card on jan 1st of 2012 by paying 1.3 k; i saw the add in a vodafone add paper that vodafone net cruise card provides a speed of 3 mbps for the initial 6 gb; and after which it will provide a speed of 1 mbps ; i bought this product believing the add and itsmodel num is ac2746; esn(dec)[protected] mdn [protected]; but after using the data card for about 6 hours and downloading data of about 3 gb; the speed drastically reduced; now i am gettin downloading speed of 10 kbps at the max; i have loged several complains in vodafone cust care;i called for about 10 plus times; but none of the agents were able to provide me with a satisfying resolution;i know that being a customer care executive is not an easy task; but at least they myst try to fix my issue after complaining so much.

now what does this mean????

is vodafone cheating its customers by making false promises?????

and how can any company give false advertisement?????

and is this the way to treat a customer for being so calm and blindly believing what the cust care executive says to the customer?????

    This complaint is received by mr. Mukesh parikh president of all india consumer protection & action committee. The complainant mr. Yogeshbhai raval was the customer of vodafone postpaid of this [protected]. He had registered his mobile no as a do not disturb in the national registry of do not disturbed (Telecom regulatory authority of india on 21 jan 2010. Still he was receiving unwanted messages & calls from the vodafone limited. He also make lots of complaints to vodafone but they did not answer properly. Vodafone was taking this thing very casually and did not taken any needful action. By this type o[censored]nwanted calls and messages the consumer was suffering from mental torture and harassment. And it was disturbing his office hours and personal life as well. By the way of telemarketing vodafone is practicing unfair trade practice which is not tolerable. The committee will ask for compensation in the consumer court and also file a complaint before trai.

    Vodafone — Unfair Practice/Policy by VODAFONE ESSAR

    I am writing this in veiw of the Illegal and Unfair practice that Vodafone is adopting since last 7-8 month.
    The issue is if the vodafone customer makes call to Vodafone customer care for more than 2-3 times in a single day, vodafone debarres the customer from using its IVR service without conveyin him the same or without customer's consent and after that whatever the customer do he / she will not be able to talk to customer care executive for his / her grievences.
    This is clearly a breach of TRAI regulation where TRAI has directed the service provider to provide 24*7 customer care help.

    On 20th April I called vodafone care twice in relation to a bill inquiry and they debarred me for this service and I was not able
    to contact them and Had to suffer a lot as one of family member
    went abroad and had problems in already activiated International Roaming on her vodaphone number.
    Astonishingly, Vodafone didn't mentioned this policy / rule at any point of time to its customer. Nor does there website holds reference to this policy of them.
    It was only on 29 April that my services were restored and I was able to speak to customer care executive to sort out Internation roaming issue with my another number. But had already suffered a lot due to this.

    I have written som many mails to Vodafone care but they are not coming up with clear response that why this was done and why my family had to suffer for 10 days.
    i hav convert mah [protected] dis nom. from prepaid to postpaid...nd noa am facing sum problems related to dis, of of them dat billig prob, av complaint again again abt mah bill, did'nt got mah bill on time and mah billing addres. so fr dat i hav to kepp calling to ur customer care again nd again fort mah bills, nd again i hav't got mah month july bill yet.. so plz do sumthin fr us for ur customers
    I believe vodafone is one of the best service provider in india, as of now i think the biggest and the greatest telecom industry is Vodafone Essar Ltd...cant show off my mobile no...but yes appriciateble...vodafone has issues with the inbond call centre given to an agent company...they take call and drop...none of any company has good telephonic service as far as vodafone has...Thanks & Regards, Ali Akbar.

      This complaint is by Mukesh Parikh, National President of Consumer Protection and Action Committee. We have received this complaint from Yogesh Harshadbhai Raval, Ahmedabad.The complainant Consumer was using the postpaid number [protected] of Vodafone since last 15 months. Vodafone has directly activated the VF Mobile Connect service without the permission of a complainant Consumer. The consumer has never demanded written or orally for VF Mobile Connect. And Consumer was very shocked and surprised when he received the bill of August 2011amounting to Rs.1552.90. When Consumer has complaint to Vodafone regarding this, they offered 50% of discount to bill amount instead of 100% on billing amount. Why a consumer should accept 50% discount proposal where he has not ordered or he had not given any instruction for activating VF Mobile Connect???.By practising this type o[censored]nfair Trade Practice we can say that the service provider Vodafone company is doing Economical Exploitation of cores of Indian Consumers.The CPAC will take action against Vodafone under Consumer Protection Act, 1986 and also before TRAI.         I am vodafone prepaid customer. And I hav recharged with the gprs pack of Rs98, and I have received message of recharge on my mobile. But my gprs pack has not been activated, because this I lose my main account balance too. I have made a complain to customer but complain have not been solved. I have complain 3 times and my complain number is

        2. 76925388

        I have even mail to vodafone nodal of bihar&jharkhand circle and to the branch manager also but they also didnt reply. I have even call to nodal officier number but officies is not answering the call. After this I could not make call to customer care as my IVR is also blocked.
        Because of this problem I decide to make complain at consumer court. So please kindly take issue on this.

            helllo im using vodafone from past two years but never faced such a problem,recently i recharged for rs.32 which offers vodafone to vodafone 30paise,voda to other 40p n std 50paise and daily 100local/national sms free.but i was charged 1 rupee for 1st two sms..later wen i called customer care they told plan has been changed n 1st two sms is bein charged...its very sad tat 30 rupees per month will be charged for 98 free sms/day..it would be better if they go back to previous plan..

            25 sms 250 — sms pack is not activated sms are not sending even charges shown in my bonus account

            Sir,
            I am a user of your esteemed telecommunication organisation sim cards. I wanted to divert your kind attemtion towards a query of mine.

            Sir i wanted to know that when your production team shall launch a new std sms card service. Since it is very difficult for those who have got their relatives residing outside their own local city. To contact them or send them sms has frequently drilling the pocket book of your customers.

            I'd appreciate if some steps are been taken to resolve such issues.

            sir i was complaining about my sms pack. i request to customer last night he disconect the phone. so i disconect your operator because your agent not working with faithfully.
            My Vodafone mobile number is [protected] i activate sms pack on 4th november 2011 by
            *444# then with response of sms packs it shows three option i select 3rd 15000 Local/ national sms but whenevr i send more then 100sms it start charging per sms at rate of rs.1 for local and rs.1.5 for national.
            but i activate this sms pack after annoncement of trai that from tuseday customer can send 200sms per day & i recharge on friday with rs.63 sms pack n it shows 500sms free per day so my maximum limt of free msgs would be 200 sms per day.
            when i talk to customer care regarding this ur customer care people are not even ready to take my complain. if this kind gesture vodafone people show then pls change ur punch line happy to help.

            Helo, I just want to know that TRAI changed there decision from 100 sms to 200 sms per day . Can anyone tell me now how many sms am getting V2V and V2'O because am getting only 25 sms to other service providers . This is not fair . You are taking Rs:80 and giving only 25 sms and 100 to v2v ? What is this please change otherwise i have to leave your connection .
            I strictly agree to this. They don't have any Bonus Card that permits more than 100 free sms/day, despite the fact that TRAI raised the limit to 200.
            Further, the call assistance on Voda Customer Care is not working, neither is it working on their Complain Number (198). This is really very unfortunate.

              I would like to inform you that I was take Vodafone post paid connection before last eight months. But there was no issue till October 2011. But from month November I have some issue, vodafone apply on me some extra charges for voice chat, GPRS services. He apply Rs. 30 for voice chat & Rs.143 for download charges as full song download for November and same for December. But I have already pay my November month bill due to I was not do check November bill. I have already do correspondence many times from vodafone care by E-Mail & his answer always same that "We would also like to inform you that as per our records you have been charged for the rental of Rs.30 for Voice chat service activated as per your request through USSD code and have been charged for Rs.143 for download charges as full song download application is activated on your Vodafone account and for the same you have been charged in month of December’2011". But I i was not activated any types of services on my cell phone like " Voice Chat and downloading music" So please solve my problem.

                Hi Sir,

                Some one from number "[protected]" and "[protected]" called up my sister and told that "you have won the lucky draw of Rs.25000, you just need to recharge these 2 mobile numbers for Rs. 1500". Unfortunately my sister recharged both mobile of Rs. 1500.

                When i tried to enquire about these persons, there both persons are fake, and they cheated my sister.

                Now please do something needful, so that we can get our money back and these 2 persons must learn lession so that in future they could not try to cheat anyone.

                  I am a prepaid customer of Vodafone mobile service provider. My name is Deepak and my cell number is [protected].

                  I was speaking to the customer care executive Ms. Kavita and her supervisor Mr. Vinayak. To complain regarding the Disproportionate deduction of call charges and SMS charges. since last 2 days till today 02.01.2012.

                  I would like to know whats the reason? and secondly i am on plan where i have to pay 35 paise for local and STD calls per minute and vodafone to vodafone 10 paise. But unfortunately since i called up some local calls i was charged more than 35 paise and some STD calls 1 rupee. i would like to know whats the reason? In case excess money is debited from account i request to pay credit back to my account.

                  Unfortunately this is one of my many bad experience with Vodafone. Its strange that Vodafone does not seem to take care of their customers and compiling customers to switch to other service providers.

                    yesterday i activated caller-tune service on my prepaid phone and when i asked one of friends to call me........i was shocked to listen vodafone's adv or prompt whatever u may call it for good 8-9 seconds......

                    Unless you are busy or commuting in a crowded place.......u would pick-up the phone in that time frame........

                      I have been charged a amount of Rs4457.30/- by Vodafone mobile for using a internet service called Vodafone Mobile connect during my billing month of Dec 2011 this despite the fact that i am already using their service of Vodafone mobilelive @Rs.99 per month. I have not asked for the change in my internet service nor did i change it myself yet the company is refusing to return the money that i have already paid to them. This not the first time that the company is harassing me with such exuberant charges so far i have had to complain t them about such issues thrice since i have convered my card from pre paid t post paid. Can someone please help me?

Please be informed that the charges are recorded on the system from the access point that you select on your handset while using Vodafone Mobile Connect and Vodafone Live services. While accessing internet on your mobile phone, the access point used was www. Hence, you were charged for Vodafone Mobile Connect. Please select the access point as “Hutch_GPRS/ Vodafone_GPRS” on your handset to avoid any further charges.                         Dear Sir

                        I am Rajesh.V, residing at 'Rajeevam' (KP III/366P), Kalavarathopu, Kazhakuttom, Trivandrum and working as Scientist at VSSC, ISRO, Thiruvananthapuram.

                        On 28.12.2011, I was at Ernakulam and there I lost my mobile phone 'Samsung Wave 525 model' (Phone No: [protected]) at the Oberon Mall 'Cinemax' , Ernakulam at around 5.30 PM. I tried to reach this mobile from various other numbers and the device was found to be switched off.

                        I had registered complaint regarding this at Palarivattom Police station on the same day and obtained receipt for the same. I have also informed the cyber cell office at Ernakulam over phone and according to their advice I barred the lost Number and obtained the duplicate SIM through Vodafone Store at Palarivattom, Kochi on 29.12.11. It was also informed from Cyber Cell office that the IMEI number of the phone has to be provided for further tracking, blockage and retreival of the lost phone.

                        The IMEI number of my phone is 355315/04/911102/7

                        My complaint is that I got my account barred and was issued with a duplicate SIM from Vodafone store at Palarivattom, Kochi on 29.11.12. Since then I haven't got my SIM activated. Each day I have made atleast five to six calls to the customer care office and every time I get a very polished reply in the form of a by hearted statement that, it will be activated very soon.

                        Finally now one of the customer care personnel Mr.Prinson is saying that nothing can be done from the Customer care service . This is the first time I am having a ridiculous and extremely bad service provision from a so called esteemed network like Vodafone, who all ways claim that "you are with us". I am a senior scientist working in ISRO, TVM and I am now not able to receive any calls or make any calls, particularly of at-most importance

                        Sir, this is the third day since I have obtained my duplicate SIM and no activation from Vodafone Services.

                        The representative who offered me the duplicate SIM and service was one Ms.Jisha

                            Vodafone mobile service is horrible. I dont have enough signal inside my house. Initially, when i took the connection, i was iinformed that signal reception is good at my area (Lingampally). But the singnal strength is very poor and their customer service sucks. They dont provide proper time for addressing this issue.

                            My office recently gave me a Vodafone corporate account and considering I already have an Airtel number which I was not inclined to give up I bought a new phone…. Now that I carry both my phone along with me I was surprised by the bad service provided by Vodofone not only was the network bad ( my Vodafone is perpetually not reachable or even weirdly does not exist) but the calls when by luck gets through drops within a minute as tough it is auto timed!                             I logged a complaint number for this issue which is [protected] on 24th Dec. The TAT for this is Jan 5th 2012 which is ridiculous. Am i supposed to have the connection and not make calls in the mean time. Their timelines are absolutely ridiculous.

                            I wish there are strict consumer protection laws in India and i could sue Vodafone for the incovenience they are putting me through
                            Today is 6th January and there hasn't been any progress on my complaint. I cannot move to another operator as i am locked with Vodafone for 90 days before i shift to another operator through Mobile Number Portability.

                            Vodafone, you are very lucky. In India, you can do whatever you want. The government policies favor the service providers and not the consumers. Even though i don't have the signal, i just have to stick with Vodafone and bear with them paying money for the service they are not providing.

                            I mentioned by complaint number in the original post and whoever wrote the above post should be aware of my mobile number. There is lot of synchony in Vodafone. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing.

                            I am a postpaid customer of vodafone . For the past six months I have been having network problems at my residence. We are not able to talk from my cell or receive calls . Each time I have to go to the street to talk with someone. Inspite of me making the complaint the problem has not been resolved. Hence, I have landed up paying the bills for my cell despite no services. Hence, since I have paid the bill and the product has not been delivered I want to know How I can get back my compensation.
                            Many times in our village and neighboring villages from Vodafone does not signal the tower several times to complain about harassment measures are not taken.

                              I am a vodafone retailer having etop flexi no. [protected]. On[protected] I was recharging my customer mobile no. [protected] with Rs. 200 amount. But the recharge was not succesful. After that I called the my dealercare via dealercare No. 129. I get the response from dealercare that i should recharge with 199 amount and customer will get talk value less taxes and I recharged the customer no. with 199 amount immediately believing the executive . But customer did not get the balance in his main account but got night minutes. After this I called the dealercare again but I got response that My recorded call with the executive will be checked and after that the decision should be made. They checked my recording and said to me that the executive had given me the wrong information. They said to me that our sr. representative will call you shortly and he will take the decision. After that the senior did not call me and after 2-3 times more calling, the sr. representative called me (Name Inder Number of sr. representative = [protected]) they said to me that we terminated the executive(that given me the wrong information) from his job and thus we punished the responsible person. After that I called the Sales manager of Our Zone Mr. Bharat Chhibar ([protected]) and told the situation . Then Bharat Chhibar called the Sr. Representative ( [protected]) and discussed with sr. representative . But there was no solution for me . They told that we punished the responsible person (terminated him from job) and no reversal should be made to me . They told me that no reversal or benefit is possible. They told you can complain against me to anyone . I Have no fear of anyone.


                              Dear Sir, But My aim was not to punish or terminate the person from his job . I want my reversal back into my account . I am feeling helpless.

                                  First of all thanks to this forum that allows me to submit my complaint.


                                  I have a post paid connection from 3-4 years. That sim has been misplaced by me. It is my mistake I know. I have submit the billed amount after the calls that says to submit the bill sand they will issue me a SIM on the same day and will be activated with in a day.


                                  I paid the bill and When i visit the store at phase seven they say they have no stock of SIM cards from 10-12 days.
                                  Again I visit three times they say the same reason.

                                  They have SIM cards for post paid plans but not issuing duplicate sim.. and says me to go to sector 35 to buy the sim..

                                  Then why the tele caller asks me that they will give me the new SIM after the payment..

                                  " i am tired from this bad services and has no time even to do my meals on proper time so I can not visit them again and again ..

                                  If vodafone says that they are a big provider and take care of their customer then it is wrong I am very irritiated from this service.
                                  and I am sending this compalint to social media and network sites, if I didnt get the Sim in my hand soon..


                                  Please solve my problem that I can say something good about your services on the same complaint.

                                    I am frequently getting fraudulent calls telling me that i have won lottery of 25 lakhs. They generally start with 009230..
                                    The caller gives a very short missed call. I have to call back as i dont know who might be calling. The caller generally wastes initial time by responding late or acting as if he is not able to hear, thus eating more time.

                                    i got the latest call(28th December 2011) from following number : [protected].

                                    I tried called vodafone customer care on 198. But after 15 minutes of menu dialling, hearing promotions and waiting for operator, the service support staff finally told me to call up some other number because i have a mumbai number. I pleaded with the service support staff to take note of my complaint but she seemed to be firm on me calling the other number. Oddly the Vodafone website (even the mumbai) page mentions 198 as customer care number.

                                      On 12-Dec-2011 at 15:10 I have recharged with 98 rs for 2G GPRS pack and the transaction ID is : AP[protected]
                                      After that I have received the activation message at 12-Dec-2011 at 15:24.
                                      But from 13-Dec-2011 i.e, afternoon onwards balance id getting deducted from my main balance for GPRS browsing.
                                      When I am trying to check the GPRS pack details by dialing *111# , it is not showing any data.

                                        This is the bad continuation of my last complaint against vodafone regarding internet connection in my mobile handset SMSUNG GALAXY Y, S-5360. I have repeatedly called to customer care, they are found to be ultimately inefficient and not customer friendly. I am planning to leave this connection. before that I want to try to fix the problem.

                                        Please help me to solve the problem.

                                        VODAFONE connection is the worst connection in India nowadays. I am utterly frustrated with them and their services.
