I took vodafone sim with mobile no [protected] on 23/12/2011 from Karad,Distt- Satra(Maharashtra). Recharge of Rs 300 was done on 24/12/2011. When I took the new connection, I was informed that all messages(Local + Std) will not be charged for 10 Days.
However after 25/12/2011, I was charged Rs 10 per sms even on local messages and my balance dropped down from 300 to 40Rs within a span of 3 days even on not using the sim for either making calls or sending messages.
I called to vodafone care a couple of times but they neither found the solution to my problem nor they refunded any money and ignored my complaint saying that I did ISD messages, they did not pay my attention to my geniune problem .I do not even have any ISD contact number on my phone nor I have saved any number with OO/+91 in front. I am highly troubled presently due to my sudden balance deductions. My complaint number is 110/804158 as was given to me while taking to some of your company executive on vodafone care. However, no solution has found yet.
Do find solutions to my problems & make necessary refunds else I have to file this complaint in consumer court. My alternative contact no. is [protected].

    As i wish wish to take Bsnl connection,taking my vodafone mobile nuber under portability,I visited local vodafone store in visakhapatnam[andhrapradesh].They charged Rs 1000/plus taxes 103 as number portability charges,considering my mobile nuber as special numer.I paid money under protest,as there being no alternative for me.I argued with them stating that i did not make any selection nor offered any special under under payment category at the time of taking vodafone connection couple of years back.I made representations to customer care vodafone by email and finally they negatived my request on the ground that i paid money.It is obvious that are determined to collect money for portability that too heavy charge like Rs 1000 plus tax under the pretext that that my number is a special number

      This is With reference to the services Provided to me by your Esteemed Organisation.
      Firstly i opted an prepaid Number wide no. [protected]. same was disconnected after an week sating docs not submitted... i again submitted my docs and again same was disconnected saying documents not received... i want to state if docs are not received than how my calls start after first disconnection.. secondly i have your mails on records which clearly states that my outgoing and incoming cant be started without docs Receipts... means u received my docs... my balance of 400/- also not refunded after permanent disconnection.

      Secondly when u refused that my number cant be started, i as a fool gain opted the services of vodafone and applied for a Postpaid.Number Given to me is [protected]. which promised by ur executive that same number will start till evening... executive name Nipun.. mobile no. [protected]. i made the payment also of rs. 500/- wide receipt no. 11635 dt. 11 jan 2012. in vodafone store 3b2 mohali. (Waves System Corp.)

      Now kindly refund me my 500/- as well as the balance in my prepaid card. I m no longer willing to avail your So Precious Services.

        this is the massage i hav got from VA-611112
        so i called 124, 111 and confirmed whether iam eligible to recieve that offer are not??
        then they said it is applicable then i recharged with that but no use msgs are costing 9ps to other network
        so i called 111(custmer care) and filed a complaint to rectifie my problem they said by 6th JAN we will resolve ur problem but still there is no use my prblem is not rectified yet.

          My name is praseetha. I was using the mobile no - [protected] for last two years. Recently i was not able to use the sim card because i was out of station. When i came back i found that it was expired before it should have been (I was not using it for only one month - provider has told that it will expire only after 6 months after the last use.)
          Now this number is with another guy, who is actually misusing the calls which come to him from my relatives and husband.

          So i kindly request to stop the service to this number.

              Vodafone's so-called backend department who calls incessantly for various useless gimmicks has forcefully changed my Blackberry services plan from 599 to 899 without my consent. I realised this when I stopped receiving emails.

              The surprising part is Vodafone has conveniently changed my plan without any confirmation message informing my about the plan change and then suspended both my email accounts. To make matters worse when I called their customer care, they tell me that I will 'have to' pay for both the 899 plan as well as whatever plan I switch to.

              A reputed company like Vodafone making such bloopers is preposterous. I strongly recommend some stringent measures against these services providers for bridge of trust and wrongly charging customers.

                Glad to see so many complaints against Vodafone. i wanted to deactivate my number and had called the customer service desk. They had assured me that from so-and-so date the number ([protected]) would be deactivated within a few hours. However, in my billing cycle they had charged me for period well beyond the promised dates. When i had called the customer care - they were unwilling to first acknowledge that there was a mistake and kept insisting that the payment should be made. I was told that though the phone was discontinued but due to internal procedures the account was still in an active mode, hence i will have to pay for the extended period. Why should any customer pay for inefficient services?!! that too when the account was deactivated.

                The vodafone customer care rep was rude and ill equipped to handle grievances. Infact, the rep went to his low standards and started threating me saying 'you pay...else..' It showed the low standards of the company itself by appointing such illiterate jackass.

                I wanted to take this up last year on such forums but due to paucity of time, couldnt. This is more to caution folks against taking Vodafone services. Anyways what to expect from such companies.

                For years, my whole family have been using Vodafone, now we plan to either migrate to other operators or stop such lousy services.




                They charged me unnecessarily after i had complained to deactivate my number.

                  This is to notify you that my mobile phone service provider VODAFON/E has deducted 30.00 INR twice for caller tune services in error. First deduction which happened was on 08/01/2012 for 30.00 INR and second deduction happened on 11/01/2012 for the same amount. I have got proofs for this duplicate charge as vodafone notified me through text and I have saved those messages. When I had words with VODAFONE customer care, initially they had a common reply to wait for 6hrs for the charges to appear on there system. At 2:15 11/01 I had conversation with VODAFONE customer care and denied for these deduction. According to them no transaction ha taken place twice. When I asked them to check the notification text which they sent me for the deduction, They said no such system exist which provides them with the information on text being sent to the customer. VODAFONE is a good service provider in term of network for mobile communication but has got appalling customer services.

                  Please get this issue sorted.

                    Hi,

                    I recharged my phone with a Recharge of 500 and got Rs 450 as talktime making my total balance of 594 Rs.

                    I recharged my number +91-[protected] with 3G plan of Rs 375 (500 MB usage) via SMS and got a confirmation regarding activation of my plan in another 2-3 hours and my balance go deducted.

                    Later I recharged my number again with Rs 89 SMS topup via SMS.

                    Deducting both I still has a credit balance of Rs 130 on my number.
                    When i checked my balance the very next day,it showed only Rs 12.

                    I have been trying to reach your executive and everyone tell me a diffferent solution.I have asked them several times to escalate this issue but this did not happen.

                    Finally they told me that a person will call me from their team in 48 hours regarding this.

                    Its been more than 4 days I have not received any call..

Please note that the mobile internet recharge of Rs. 375/- was processed at 11 A.M. on 6/1/12 and free 1GB for 30 days was credited to your account. However as you has used GPRS on 6/1/12 at 10:19 AM, you have been charged Rs.117.7 before the activation of the pack. So we regret to inform you that the charges are payable and we are unable to reverse the same.                         Sub:-Extra Charges of Browsing and ISD



                        My self Mahesh.Pralhad.Sathpute I am using Vodafone post paid connection my number is [protected]. I am old customer of Vodafone but this month they have charged bill of Rs 1325/- in which they have charged me for Browsing and ISD which I have not use and I find that this time they have charged me more than my usages. I am ready to pay what i have used but i won't pay unnecessary charges they have charged against me and i have sent them mail and also talk to them to withdraw unnecessary charges from my bill so that i can continue with them. But so far i haven't receive any response from them. I really upset that Vodafone a reputed service provider can do such thing.

                        I hope you will definitely help me because i want to continue with the same number and i am ready to pay what i have used but not unnecessary charges.

                        Vodafone — unnecessary charges bill

                        my num is [protected], an last month i had received my bill an i hav paid the bill late by 1 day so the next say my service was deactivated an in the current i have been charged 50 rs for the late fee, for what they charge late fee as my number was disconnect after the due date..i am fed up using vodafone it is giving me problem everytime...

                        My number is [protected] and i was charged unnecessarily with Rs.9 on 18/02/2009 when calling to Bhutan. It wasn't ringing and i had waited for ring for at least 20 seconds from where I have disconnected intentionally for not ringing, but it said that Rs. 9 is deducted from my account. I don't know what is going on with vodafone service because similar cases were also noticed last year where i was charged with Rs.45 to another number. It is not that the person I was call had received, it is the mistake with your network because later on when i asked about my call to the person i was calling to, he told me that he didn't get any call from me.

                        So can anybody on the authorized position justify me the incidents.

                        Hope that you will look into the matter and solve it immediately to ensure that your customer is not charged unnecessarily.

                        Hi This is Manoj Jangra from Chandigah want to compliant against CCE's of Vodafone Company working in Mohali and also against the Vodafone Co. for the unnecessary deduction of Money form the account.
                        My Mobile no. is [protected] and its been two times when my balance is deducted and then CCE are also not responding well.
                        First Person saying call after 48 hrs.
                        Second person saying you need to call in between 48 hrs
                        then saying money will get refund
                        third perosn saying you need to call in between 12 hrs
                        fourth person saying not able to refund your money

                        this thing happensto me again now and i want you to take action against this.

                        Vodafone — Unnecessary bill has been charged from Vodafone

                        Hello,
                        I am using Vodafone connection from last one year. From the begning I am not at all satisfied with their services.

                        Whenever I used to call to customer care, I dont get proper response even cutsomer care person doesnt know how to talk properly.

                        They just put our call on hold or they tell us some story and try to bypass from their responsiblity.

                        Also initially Vodafone promised me about 50 paisa STD plan but initially two month they charged me 1 Rs/ Min. After having long fight for 3 month, I got my money back.


                        but even after they every month they charge some services or for extra call, which I have not used it . But whenever I try to call, they do not listen. They just tells me
                        me to go to Vodafone care shop and resolve issue. I have told them multiple times to disconnect my connection, but even they are not doing it .

                        couple of month back I have activated 15000 SMS pack for 200Rs per month and in OCt 2010 I told them to deactivate this service.

                        But When I checked my Dec month bill, I have been continously charging for this services still and no solution has been provided to me till now even after
                        making so many calls to customer.

                        This week I have called customer care to activate internet service for 200Rs/month. The said, vodafone will give me call to make setting activate on my cell

                        to use internet service before they activate this internet service on my cell.

                        But I am still waitnig for their call but thet started charging me for this service.

                        I am really fedup with this Vodafone and their services. I request everybody, not to use this ever in life.

                        my number [protected] of vodafone ,Rs 5/- is being deducted daily towards happy2help subcription,which isis not subscribed by me.. please cancel this subscription & credit back the deduction done till today.....

                        I have just received the invoice for dec-jan-feb-marc and found that Vodafone has charged me for d2c NDTV Valuepack 9 - Rs. 99, d2c mgosssip pack 49 Rs. 49, d2c mydala 99 Rs 99 and hello1 tvallsouth Rs. 30 totalling Rs 277.00 plus taxes. Spoke to Vodafone Customer service but They told, for some of the website charges do happen irrespective of having Data plan. We need to find a permanent solution as you will realise that this is total fraud and Vodafone is making it a habbit.

                        Please Help me..!!!

                          Vodafone — caller tune charges arbitrarily

                          Sir, I am a vodafone mobile user having mobile no. [protected]. Day before yesterday when I came to my residence by train at about 7:10p.m I got a message "your request for callertune has been activated". But I never requested for callertune activation during the tenure of last 4 years . I am 60 years of age, I have no need of callertune only doing phone call nothing else. Rs. 30 has been deducted. So, I request you to look into the matter and arrange to refund the amount immediately.
                          This type of mobile services are whittlers and Showing and living in Superiority complex handling bushiness but they do, nt know they are very cheap and unknown with own Empires Insulting

                            My credit limit was 1400 .The bill which i received was of 3200.My mobile number is [protected] .what is the use of credit limit if Vodafone cannot put limit on it?Why Customer should suffer because of this.

                                Invalid First Bill complaint with Appellate Authority Unanswered..

                                Vodafone Live and VMC service Vodafone initiated the Default CORE service VF live/VMC Data. I have not used the service from my handset or laptop. Vodafone raised the first bill with the Data Usage charges of Rs 574.40/-. How does the handset consume the data worth Rs 574.40/- in the IDLE state within 5 days.

                                Vodafone billing System is Faulty and FRAUD to Nation. Vodafone refused to disable the VF live and VF Mobile connect service from the Account.
                                Vodafone refused to provide the browsing usage of GPRS and calling details on the ISD calls in the first bill.

                                Kindly provide me resolution for deactivation of VF Live and VMC.

                                  I have registered dnd service of vodafone sometime in july, 2011 but i always receive unwanted calls and smss from my service provider. I had submitted complaint about such calls and smss to vodafone with all the detail of phone numbers and sms numbers and got the complaint registration number: [protected] on 12the dec, 2011 but no use.

                                  Today again, i received a call from angle brokerage from number: +[protected].
                                  Yesterday received call from some insurance companies & property investment companies from numbers: [protected], [protected] & [protected]

                                  There some many unwanted sms messages i have received so far from these numbers:

                                  [protected] (M3m urbana luxurious office space, call:[protected].
                                  [protected] (Personal loan from hdfc bank), call maria [protected]
                                  [protected] (100% ayurvedic products with cash back), call [protected], [protected].
                                  +[protected] (Cosmic 5 start office...), call [protected].
                                  +[protected] (Lotus velly plots booking...), sms lv to 56677
                                  [protected] (Available it n rental space..) sms cosmic to 56161
                                  [protected] (Manesar, it comm. Poss in march 2012), call: [protected]
                                  [protected] (Lotus vally...) sms lv to 56677.

                                  Can't write all the sms but i want that my service provide will block all such messages & call.

                                    I have been the customer of Vodafone since 2006. My Mobile number is [protected] (Off Chennai Region).
                                    I got totally disappointed about your hidden concept about your tariffs. I have put a message booster on 5th December, 2011.

                                    By the same time I have activated 224 booster, where 100 local messages is free in this tariff on 28th December 2011. But at the completion o[censored]nique SMS Booster, which had activated on 5th December, 2011, your company started to charge 50 paise per sms since 6th January, 2011.

                                    On 6th January 2011, I have contacted your customer care and talked to your executive. Where he advised to take One day SMS Booster Pack for two days, and the problem will be rectified within 48 hours and the 224 Booster SMS will be re-credited to my account. On the advice of your customer care executive, I have activated daily message booster for two days (i.e. on 7th and 8th January). But on 9th January 2011, again the SMS has begun costs.

                                    Again I have contacted your customer care and they said, your 224 SMS Booster has deactivated and noting to do with it.

                                    The same problem has occurred last time itself.

                                    I got totally disappointed over this issue. We the customer doesn’t know about your tariff clearly as you are changing often.

                                    I want you to resolve this issue, by re-crediting my daily 100 Free SMS Pack which is accredited with the 224 Booster Pack and also refund my two days daily SMS Pack, which I have activated. Even I am going to put a daily booster pack for tomorrow also, where I believe you will resolve this issue soon.

                                    I want the concerned authorities to solve this issue. And also, telecom regulators must ensure the customers that it should not happen once again from the service providers.
