If you’re reading this, I am glad to share my best consumer electronics purchase ever. A voltas split AC that was purchased in 2016.
Timeline to share what a journey it has been:
2016 - New AC – bought it for Rs 43000/-, within a month it went down. Multiple complaints raised to resolve the cooling issue. Gas top up etc
2017- Refrigerant top up – another Rs 3000/-
2018 – Refrigerant top up – plus Rs 5000/- (I don’t recall other issue – but paid total bill of 5000/-
2019 – Indoor PCB change, outdoor PCB change – refrigerant leak and gas charging – another Rs 12000/- (this issue prolonged for 6 weeks to get resolved after 8-10 technician visits)
2020 – Indoor Cooling coil change – gas leak & recharge – 4 times – Rs 10600/-
2021 – Outdoor Condenser change – gas leak & recharge – 3 times – Rs 8100/- (still counting because AC not working – Technician has visited almost 10 times)
So if you’re still reading this, shame on voltas !!
