ACT network provider has been failed to deliver the promised service for the past 6 months.. On requesting for waver for the paid amount, I have been rudely handled by its customer care and and its floor supervisor Mr. Vinay and I was told that they will not provide the waver despite the fact the promised service has not been delivered for the last 6 months. I feel cheated, harassed mentally. I want the waver for complete period and also a written apology form the company.

    I am using the act internet from last 2years. We are facing issues with the internet for this month from 15days. Its like for 2days it get connected, we again loos the internet. We again raise a ticket, before someone reachs us the internet will be back, i am ask him to close after 2days. Same repeated story. Dare enough to reach customer care u will be connected after 2hrs of trial. I never saw any customer care number says. Our line is busy except act fiber customer care

      Hi,

      I had issue many times with my pc lan and wi-fi router as well. beam cable burnt 4 lan's and 4 routers at my home due to power surge. i have complained about bad cable where water leaks from the jack pin whenever there is rain and power box which always has port issues but no action taken by beam/act in spite offered to pay money for service.

      I face connectivity issues at least 2-3 times and raise request 4-6 times as they close the ticket without any resolution or confirmation.

      The setbox is not working due to some problem as it was working from yesterday night but when we oned our TV the setabox is not working

        Hi,

        User id: [protected]@gmail.com (6 months subscription)

        In the month of jan/feb 2016, i faced a lot of issues (no internet connection) for around 22 days and again in the month of april 2016, again same issue for around 15 days. (every time i called they used to raise new ticket and they used to close it by their own without providing the solution and without my confirmation.

        When i asked for the re-fund, they said they will adjust it by increasing the end date by those 22+15=37 days. so that means my 6 months subscription has to extend to one more month.

        When i asked the same them at the end of the 6 months, they said it's not possible and they will deduct the amount if i go for next 6 months.

        Now it has been more than 50 days i raised multiple complaints for the same issue, either re-fund my money or i will deduct the amount and pay the next 6 months amount.

        They raise a ticket but closed it by their own with out my confirmation (now they say i did not responded so they closed)... all [censored]ing lies.

        Now when i call again they say i did not paid the bill so they disconnected and now i have to pay reconnection charges of around 400 ruppes. (why the hell i need to pay, it is their mistake not mine)

        1. not providing proper connection / no proper response
        2. when i raise a complaine they close it without confirmation and with out providing solution
        3. everytime when i call they keep me on hold for minutes, i am lossing my money as it is not a free call.
        4. everytime when i call, they say they will transfer the call to someone and ask me to be on hold (after few minutes they disconnect)
        5. when i call back, i have to repeat the same story by which again i lose my money and again they keep me on hold and disconnect. (this [censored]ing service repeates whenever i call)
        6. why the hell i need to pay extra money for their wrost service???
        7) re-fund money for 37 days, each day 25 rupees (37*25=925)

        I requet you to get my money back so that i can go for some other new connection.

          I am writing in after realising that ACT has been scamming since January 2016. I have had the same ACT Blaze plan for 3 years now (50 GB FUP, 20 MBPS). For all of the three years I have had comparable usage. Infact this year I spend way less time at home than I have in the past three years.
          And yet, my FUP seems to be consumed completely within 15 days every month only starting 2016. The usage page on the ACT website itself often shows me less usage, and is mostly not operational so I can't check my own usage.
          The ACT team will give me no option but to reset my FUP by paying upto Rs.600 extra each month. Which I usually do because my work is of an urgant nature and I cannot go on with 512Kbps speeds when uploading and downloading important client files.
          This prompted me to even upgrade my plan from 50 GB to 60 GB and YET my FUP is magically consumed within 15 days.
          Through my router and on the barely functional ACT Usage page I have been tracking my usage which is always around 30 something GB, never 50 +.
          When asked to share usage stats the ACT team will share some bogus information, showing my usage to be about 52 GB when I have proof that today at this moment my usage is 39.47GB.
          I will be taking this up in consumer court because at this point ACT has chated me out of thousands of rupees in the last 8 months, and I can see from the forums that many people have exactly the same issue and are reporting it to no avail.

            Please find the ticket details below:

            Ticket No: [protected] raised on[protected].Every week i am facing connectivity issue in my area, last 4 weeks on wards continuously we are facing the problem. My previous ticket is [protected] raised on[protected], ticket no [protected] raised on[protected]resolved in 5 days), ticket no [protected] raised on[protected]resolved on 3 days after reopen the ticket), Customer care people just raising the ticket and they are not taking care about the issue. If we called technician he is not taking care, customer care people are saying simply for escaping purpose to resolve the issue it will take 24hrs time, if you call "N" number of times also they will say only one answer it will take 24hrs time will complete. really worst service, worst customer care.
            I paid months payment because of that i am using customer service, once after completing the 6 months period, immediately i will remove the connection, i will take some other network.

            Now a days beam service very worst service. please take care otherwise beam will loose the customers in future.

                WORST customer service from ACT. My WIFI is not working from last few days and even after contacting customer care multiple times, no action has been taken till today. We have lodged first complaint on 30th August'16 and Its been more than 12 days and they don't bother to reply and address to customer grievances. Even after contacting more than 20-30 times, their customer care just iterate words like that they are checking and will update us for the resolution. But they din't even bother to reply and update the customer. Every time they raise a new request / ticket with out even resolving previous ticket. And till today we have not received any information and response from them. Now i am planning to switch to other Internet service provider because of extremely bad service from ACT and will also advise all the family / friends and relative to do so.

                  I have FUP limit of 100GB. It is finished just in 20 days. I thought we have used data. I got another 40 GB quota by resetting FUP.
                  Again 40 GB finished just in 8 days. It has been happening for many months. But I thought we were really using the data. But this month we have used very less data but still we have finished 140 GB. In the beginning everything was fine. But day by day it is become worst.

                  This month again 65gb consumed within 10 days.

                    My account was activated on 25th of august and got my credentials to use on 27th august... And i got bill again 6th of september within 1 week of my first payment.

                    What is going on here?

                    I am trying to reach your customer care on[protected] and it is not even going to waiting — it just says number is busy and gets disconnected.

                    Tried to connect atleast more than 20 times continously.

                    This is the worst service provided.

                      Hi,
                      My complain Id - [protected]. I created a complain on 8th Sept. And the only response I received is that the complain has been registered.
                      I used the ACT app to register a complain and it clearly showed that there is some problem with an intermediate switch. No one has contacted me since then.
                      I'm facing this issue twice in every week since last 2 months. On each call/complain I'm assured that this would not happen again as there was a problem with switch but it happens soon 2-3 days after their resolution.
                      Why do they charge so much if they just want to provide the connectivity for half a month.
                      Extremely pathetic reliability of the internet. When I'm getting back from work each day, I have to pray that internet is OK at home. I'm unable to understand why are they not looking into this matter seriously.
                      Due to this so frequent outages, I have stopped recommending ACT to my friends and colleagues.

                          I have raised a complaint id -[protected] on 2nd September 2016 about my Wifi was not working . It is almost a week now that my complaint has not yet been resolved .I have been calling the customer care everyday and they are responding to me that tomorrow my issue would be resolved and they are sending a message with date and time . Till now my issue has not yet been resolved and most of my work are hugely depends on Internet as well . If they can say that they could not fix my issues I can disconnect /cancel my subscription and opt for any other service providers .
                          I have paid all my bills on time . ACT have lazy field engineers who doesn't even care about their work .

                            I would request act to act on customer complaints if not please say straight forward that you can not provide the service. It is very frustrating to break with your company. A and have to wait for an hour to speak to customer service manager even that there is no resolution. Hope in consumer complaints i can highlight the issue and escalate to the senior'sr of the company.

                              I have a complain no [protected].
                              I am really fed up calling and following up on this complain.
                              My internet has been disconnected for no reasons, and i am not getting any welcome response from act team.
                              I spoke to customer care, nodal officer and act engineers multiple times.
                              This is so shocking that they disconnected my internet without even informing me.
                              On top of that they are sending the bills on time, and following up on payments properly.
                              Can this be raised to the highest authority?

                                Hi, we have installed act broadband service at my home, located at edifice apts, sembakkam. Without any intimation, the connection has been quit. I logged a complaint with act customerservice. They said there is some technical issue & whole sembakkam i affected by it. & will be rectified in a week's time. Its been more than 3 week's now. No action has been taken yet. But they have send us bills to pay for connection. Very poor way of treating the customer by call centre executive michael & his manager monish. They not even want to answer a customer's query. Highly disappointed. Please help us to solve this issue. Thanks, mahendran

                                I am also from sembakkam and I too do not have the connection for the past 3 weeks . The reply they give is that their servers in vengaivasal are down . Please find some better technicians who can resolve issues faster or better change your damn server. I have spent nearly 1000rs for this 3 weeks on my mobile data.

                                But they are very prompt in sending a message to pay the bill for this month.

                                I am facing a similar issue at Sembakkam Location, customer care just keeps iterating that they will resolve the issue within a week's time but nothing happened. My first complaint was lodged on 20th Aug 2016 and it is 14th sep today..and after that i have contacted them mutiple times...only causing a reduction of my talktime everytime i speak and getting multiple complaint IDs(which of no use)
                                It is highly irritating, getting the same damn reply and no action at all..
                                If you cannot do something, just say it, don't try to hang the situation in the midst of nowhere. How many times to call and complain?
                                Better we can switch to a better option, than spending so much money in trying to contact people who cannot help.
                                If possible, i would give a, zero rating for the zero action towards customer service...

                                  It is 3 weeks now and my connection is not restored yet. Please don't say that you server is down. There is no way that someone runs a business with their servers down for 3 weeks. There 3 to 4 people in my street using ACT and they too face the same issue... Please don't call me up and say the same reason.. Is this how you treat a customer.. I am planning to sue you guys in the consumer court, you people take common man for granted.

                                    Every week i am facing connectivity issue in my area, last 4 weeks on wards continuously we are facing the problem. Customer care people just raising the ticket and they are not taking care about the issue. If we called technician he is not taking care, customer care people are saying simply for escaping purpose to resolve the issue it will take 24hrs time, if you call "N" number of times also they will say only one answer it will take 24hrs time will try to provide the solution. But we don't when that 24hrs will complete. really worst service, worst customer care.
                                    I paid months payment because of that i am using customer service, once after completing the 6 months period, immediately i will remove the connection, i will take some other network.

                                    Now a days beam service very worst service. please take care otherwise beam will loose the customers in future.

                                        I am resident of Bheeramguda (Hyd) .We are not getting the access to the internet from past 2 weeks. Every day I am lodging complaint to CC and your team is giving false assurance of resolving it within 24 hours. We have paid for 6 months. If this is the situation we have to look for an alternate provider.

                                        First time when we raised the complaint, someone called me from ACT and asked about the address and I explained him everything but after that neither responded to the calls nor he reached the address.

                                        Either resolve our issue or refund our advance amount paid .
