Act internet connection down in munuswamy salai, k. k. nagar, chennai-78 for last 3 days. customer service representative change for every call but response is same. "failure in your area, will fix soon." even nodal managers gives same response. noone returns calls as to the issue.
Nodal manager mentioned he cannot give timeline for fixing and customer service response says some major outbreak. but i know the service is only down near my area. noone has clarify of the issue.
Suddenly one rep calls and asked me to do power cycle of modem. no change.

The ticket was closed without fixing and new complaint ticket was raised. I m angry on hoe this could be done?

    Lost net connectivity on june 30th (ticket no.[protected]). i was told there is a problem with access point. i came back home on july 12th and found the issue is not resolved, during this period whenever i attempted to pay bill on act corp portal, it showed me the same message there is a problem with connectivity. other connections in my apartment building were working fine. on 11 july upon calling customer care they raised a new ticket [protected], issue still unresolved till 12 july, this time i was told traffic migration is going on so it took this much time, only upon saying other connectivity in my building are working fine and only my connection is interrupted, the cs agent came to his senses. i paid full amount, for no service for almost half a month.
    I work as a manager in telecom company, i am sure no service activity will take 11 days. act fibernet team are highly irresponsible towards customer complaints.

      Wat service u are providing for account number...[protected]... You have the staff in place to monitor monthly payment. Better employ people to monitor service status of your customer to provide so called "hassle free services".. Dont make lure of lucrative business on our money... As u have failed to provide the service... Credit the amount to the account.. Keep ur system transparent... Do u have process and procedure in place to run the business... Its a total crap... They dont have their operations in place... Customer care service is out of order... They dont have the required staff to handle the issue.

        I had raised connection transfer request (Ticket no. [protected]) on 30th june 2016.
        Till 7th july 2016 (Which is beyond sla of 7 days), nobody contacted me.
        I had contacted act customer care multiple times and got the response that feasibility is done and very soon you will get a call from act to collect the address proof related documents.
        On 8th july 2016, act representative came and collected the address proof and inr500/- towards connection shifting charges.
        On 09th july 2016, a new ticket no. [protected] was created by act team for actual connection shifting.
        On 10th july 2016, connection shifting team came and told me there is no port availability (I don't know what feasibility test they did in first 7 days).
        I have never faced such a pathetic service.
        If they are not able to provide service then they should not collect the connection shifting charges itself.

            After loosing all hopes of getting 'service', from their 'serviceless desk', i am sharing my pathetic experience here.

            My a/c number :[protected]

            My net got disconnected on saturday morning. (july 9th). i called to their customer care, and raised a complaint on that day afternoon (complaint id: [protected]). i have to do some office weekend release activities, and for that net connection is terribly important for me. i explained the same to the service care executive (her name mounika), and asked her to raise the ticket with highest priority. she assured me that the ticket will be resolved with in 24 hours.

            I again called on that same day evening and requested to expedite the resolution, due to my desperate situation. it was a guy this time (name forgot). he also assured that, it already got assigned to a technisian, and will be resolved soon.

            Day 2, sunday:

            Still no connection. i again called to helpdesk. this time it was another guy - sameer. he spoke as if, he is ceo of this company, and he is not at all bothered about loosing customers. he arrogantly told that, there is some maintenance activity in whole hyderabad, and no one is getting internet. when i asked why it was not informed to me on saturday itself, then he tried to tell some other kaka burra stories. finally he said that, he is escalating the ticket, for early resolution.

            Day 3, monday.

            Still nothing happened. no net, not received even a single call from anyone. i again called to helpdesk, this time it was another guy - venkatesh. after repeating the same story, to my utter shock, he finally said, he is going to escalate the ticket for early resolution. that means, the yesterday's guy (sameer) didn't escalate even after so much persuasion.

            Day 4. tuesday

            Still no net. not received any call.
            I had to apply for 'loss of pay leave' for not-performing the office activities, for the last 2 days.

            These guys are shameless, with absolutely zero concern for customer requirements and customer sensibilities.

            Pls some one take strict action against these cheaters. i am even thinking about going to consumer court. pls give some pointers regarding the same.

            I also experience the same, even date/time also same . Finally it got resolved by 12 july ~5:00pm .
            I am more frustrated with customer care and their update's rather then service failure . They are repeating the same message that " your issue will be resolved in next 24 hrs " with more then 2+ days passed . Technical problem happen every where, the way of communicating the situation is very bad .

            If problem is not going to solve in next 1 days, tell upfront so that we can plan the other alternate rather losing all your reputation & when it was beam the service was too good .

              Frequent connectivity drops

              I have raised 7 consecutive tickets in past 20 days with connectivity loose stating server is down without any notification . its been 48 hours since i have raised a complaint where the SLA is 24 hours stiill no resolution .

              Dear team,

              It was my mistake to pay for 6 months. please refund else give me reasons in writing so that i can submit it while filing a consumer case.

              Pathetic service in hyderabad, the understanding of customer service agents is beyond imagination. my complaint started right from the day 1, they are so many actually which is listed here.
              1st. i moved to a new building and called #actcorp for a #newconnection line was always busy, sent several sms and no response. finally after 2 weeks of my request i got new connection with account no[protected].
              2nd. there was an old cable connection in the building, so my request was not to levy installation #charges, they told it's #mandatory as they will give me new line with new cable. only to avoid installation i had to go for #6monthplan and after payment, your team gave me userid and password and requested to use the same line with old cable. which is really #unproffessional.
              3rd. since 1st week itself the connection was #frequentlydisconnected. i don't understand what your team understands for the same. they never sent anyone to check it, coz the amount of time sense your #technician has. they tried to save their time by not visiting.
              4th. as many as 10 times in the same #week i called and it was really hard for me to make your amazing #customercare understand that, my connection was frequently disconnected. that means sometimes i was connected to internet and sometimes i was not. and your team needed exact time of disconnection and connection to document. serious time sense. my mistake that i was unable to sit 24 hrs checking and making note of internet connectivity by #leavingallmyjob.
              5th. once it was #escalated, your team did not have any #information on my#complaints. i had to tell the same story to at least 10-15 #agents and#supervisors. your team has more focus on time sense rather than responsibility. so they just save time #documenting nothing.
              6th. it was me who was #suffering so i suggested for #changing #cable from my end and your team has no #practical knowledge that the #reason for frequent connection issue could be #fixed by changing the cable, which you could have done in the #1stday itself by installing #newcable for a #newconnection.
              7th. the first month passed without changing cable. i was getting calls from your escalation team and astonishingly, they were having no information about what's happening. everybody seems to be so busy that they do not have time to read and understand practical problem of a #customer. so true, no one has time for others.
              8th. finally, being #fadeup i called to #cancel my connection on#27thmay2016. till today, it's #horrific to know that, your team has #neither fixed the connectivity issue #nor cancelled my connection.

              Someone can refer to these #tickets raised and refer to my complaints. i am sure these ticket numbers would have nothing, as no one has time to #document what is the #practicalissue.

              Added to that, some names i would highlight as i will never forget them in terms of the service which i got.

              Mr. sai kiran, claimed to be the floor supervisor, had no access to send me a mail. a customer calls to get help and even your supervisor is helpless to help. the over confidence of your supervisor was really impressive. claiming to be all in all of the floor having no option to even sending one email.
              Mr. varun, who called today from[protected], has no records of my previous complaint. when asked for supervisor or manager he replied he is all in all. it's reallt shameful to have no information with the top management about anything and they are calling with the confidence of being all in all.

              There are so many other names, which i don't remember. as a whole your customer support team itself is robotic. everyone is all in all to do nothing.

              Finally, thank you for reading everything and i would be really grateful if you understand the practical issue here and i am documenting it in #facebook only because everyone has access to it. hope it works.

                My act user id is 11973136 and i am on the 50gb fup plan at 30mbps plan. this plan was taken last month and within a week we faced problem in the connectivity. after much hassle and a tug of war, a guy from the isp came and resolved the connectivity issue (the issue was, we were not able to connect more than 2 particular devices to the internet either through wifi or lan). after this issue got resolved, then the other issue started. within few hours, it showed that the entire 50 gb along with the additional 25 gb that we got as bonus for a 6 month subscription was also over and the speed was pathetic.. it was less than 2g speed!!! we are 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 10 at home. there is no way they could have used the internet. and there are never any heavy usage or any download of hd content. even after repeated emails and calls to the customer service, we were not able to get any possible logical reason for the abrupt and heavy usage of the data. the data that the customer care sent us appears fabricated. even this month, its the same case. its the 8th of july and we are facing the same issue. the whole data limit is over and the speed is now below 128 kbps. the data usage that is being shown on the portal is simple garbage. there are ip addresses that are not even related to our connection. i am sure that act will come up with some bull reason for this too.

                Another issue that was fishy was when i asked them how to logout from the portal page or if i could logout, the customer service agent was adamant that i should not logout from the portal page. when asked why, he was giving me reasons which were not at all reasonable. this is my connection and i should be able to connect or disconnect at my will!!

                I am going forward with lodging a complaint with the consumer court regarding this issue as i am sure that contacting the customer care will be like talking to a brick wall...

I didn't get any call back also. I have called several times but i don't see a closer. It is more than a week. Please get it resolved asap.

                    The next day they callede & i asked them to get the wire to give me connection & he came simply & took the money for the next month & he didn't give the connection. he told me that he will give the connection on 5th morning. i called them on the evening then again they told for next 24hrs. till now more than 5 days completed
                    Those people took my money & they are not responding to me. now yesterday & today i called them more than 50-100 times they don't receive the call if they receive the call also they don't give the proper response to the consumer.
                    They just wnat to cheat the consumers now when i called them today they where talking so irresponsibly. so please help me by filing a case against them. i have all necessary proofs so that i can sue there company for cheating me & looting me & if you people help i will see that those people will pay for what they have.

                    Sir see that they pay for what they have done & see that i will get good compensation.

                    These people are really cheating people & frauds. i want file case make them pay for it or i want to see that they pay huge amounts as penalty or seaz there company

                      Last month 24th i requested to shift my connection and till the date i didn't get the connection in my home, due to the bad service provided by ACT and the customer care executive attitude i am forced for the disconnection of the account. as i didn't used the internet i would like to know about the refund of the amount paid for shifting and i believe that as the bill is generated first of the month i haven't used the connection i don't need to pay anything to ACT, if not send me the complete data usage on monthly basis to clear the usage and to confirm the same.
                      The ACT is not giving proper service and we are not getting the bandwidth which had been assured

                        Hi,

                        From past one month, i am trying to the removal of power supply box/junction box from our house electric connection and without confirming with me act fibernet executives have closed that ticket and not even informed me about closing. whenever i used to call customer care or follow up with them regarding this they just have only 3 sentences to say.

                        1) sorry for the inconvenience
                        2) you will get a confirmation call within 24 hours
                        3) we will need 7 days to resolve the issue (please note - they need 7 days-not from the time you raised a request. but, they need it from the time you follow up with them). the tat always changes from one date to date.

                        Every time a new person answers the call and they just have to say - please trust me you will surely get a call regarding this from our end. (no response from their end and you have to again call customer care and talk to a new person).

                        One time when i raised a connectivity issue with them - i noted their technician's number and tried calling him after raising a ticket at act customer care. after calling act and that technician several times, the technician visits that place and removes the connection and also say that you won't be getting internet connection from now. when i ask him why won't i get internet - he says you have asked for it. you didn't want to give power supply, so you have to wait until we find a new one who agrees to keep it (in a very rudely manner). now, i don't even know whether they have actually removed that power junction box (after this incident happened i am still getting internet connection). i have been trying to complete this tasks from past one month and now i got a response and the result is rude behaviour from their escalations team, executives and technicians.

                        I want act people to remove that junction box and provide me a strong signalled internet connection. if you can't provide me a good internet connection, please provide me a refund of my bill and disconnect this internet connection.

                        This company called me and told that sir u have won weekely contest in which you are selected for first prise in which we will provide a comboo offer of shopping rs.4999/- while purchase of this combo you will get i phone 5s as a gift. i asked them why are u giving me i phone 5s as gift on such small purchase they told me this is our marketing strategy on first day i paid only 2000 and they agree for another payment for cash on delivery. then another day they call me and told sir for your i phne 5s gift u have to pay full money to claim your gift then i pay another payment of rs.2999/- then after two three days they again call me and tell sir u are selected for yearly contest and you have won first prize i20car, and for this you have to create id for rs.20000/- then again i asked i dont think this is correct in 20000/- why u will give such a costly gift they tell me sir r u online please type our web address we show u our previous contest in which we have given car as gift for marketing. again i paid 20000/- on 30th march. then next day they call me and told sir you have to create one more id as nominee id for rs.20000/- other wise your gift can not be claimed. i told now i m not having any money to pay because i think the are changing their statements again and again. then i told them first send my comboo and gift then i will pay another money.. after too much calling to them they give me fake dtdc courier tracking number for combo again after too much caling them thay send me my combo in which my gift i phone 5s is not their piece of cloth is thier. next day again i them i did not get my iphone gift they refuse they told me sir we have shown u five gift in which u will get any one of them. they literally turn in negative way. but i have proof in which i can prove in the court of consumer that they have committed for i phone 5s. and they are doing stunt to collect money from public and use their funds ..

                        so friends i suggest that one mistake i done please do not repeat again. this company is totally fraud with full of wrong commitments.

                        they dont have respect for there customers each and every representative knows only to lie and only thing they tell is we will contact you in 72hrs and after 72hrs there will be a mail saying our technician will contact you in 24hrs and there will never be any call from them.complaints are not resolved but they will close the complaint without even contacting or resolving the problem of customer.i have been complaining them from 6months regarding fup issues and it hasnt been resolved they think all people are fools.its so funny reading a news for 5mins and 1.5gb is been charged...whatsapp and facebook usage through wifi from phone will be charged 2gb??when i call them regarding fup they say are you using wifi when i say yes they tell me someone else is using your wifi.well i change my password every week so how is it possible to use my wifi??after this problem has started i have been tracking my fup usage from 3 months for which i got proof about my usage.and i have already send them the data i had used but there is no response.i pay bill for using nothing.last time I asked them to send me the usage details for which they have send me edited usage details.which any person can tell..also i had this problem of junction box which was put on my property without even the permission now what should i say this guys also knows how to steal electricity from other place.now they have drilled on my wall for junction box so who will pay for the damage when i complained them regarding the box they said every house who uses act need junction box for broadband connectivity..they have good broadband service but consumer satisfactory is nill..being rude to customer is there policy everytime i call them same expected answers are given as if this people are some kind of machine..apologies huh do they know the meaning of it??they dont even mean it so whats the use of telling consumer sorry for the inconvenience...all talk no actions.i dont have other broadband option in my area so i dont have option for now..iam still waiting patiently if this guys will solve my problem or they will keep on charging people for using nothing..il wait and see for some more time..what kind of reasons they gonna give regarding my complains..they blame the customer when they dont have anything to say..they think all customers are fool.

                        iam hearing this same thing from 6months same kind of mails i asked them for solution..i mailed to them again asking for the fup data usage in details which i havent received yet i can see the usage on my portal but its not correct i have send them the proofs of what i have been using..still there is no response from them..as i told them that on 3rd july is the day when fup problem started again..which was 3-7 when 2gb of data was charged on my portal and 1.3gb from 8-9pm which is not correct as i tried explaining them that 3-7 i was gaming as game called as dota 2 and it doesnt take that much data.so when i didnt download any videos or was watching video or used mobile then how can my data be used that too 2gb..u can see the image below the time duration..also on portal it shows i have used 27 gb of data where as i have used only 16gb of data..

                          This pertains to ACT network, our wifi is not connecting properLy since 6 months and we have complained almost more than 25 times in this 6 mnths. there is a router problem and they need to replace but their officials are not taking it into prIority, once we complained harshly and they came it worked for 4 days and again the same problem. they are not looking into the problem seriously.                             I have raised a connection shifting request on 28th june with your team, and i remain with out internet till date. this shows how customer focused you are and how efficient your team is!

                            I have been following up since 3 days, but the standard response i get is 'i will forward this to our back end team and they will call you'.

                            You people just chase till the bill payment is done and once the amount is paid, you are least bothered to at least pick up the call. i paid the amount for 1 year and i am left with out internet from 10 days.

                            Your team is not even bothered to escalate the call to higher level team. i had to be on hold for 30 mins twice but still no one has spoke to me. i had to disconnect my call, in addition to the frustration you people cause, my mobile bill is another pain. you people play that bloody music for hours, but call doesn't get connected to the higher level team. this shows the concern you have towards the customers. i want a call back from the higher level team with a resolution today.

                            On a final note, i want the connection shifted today. else i will consider disconnected permanently from act and i demand a refund of the amount i paid.

                              I have sent many emails and have called so many times to check about the billing. i was told that i am on 6+1 month subscription hence i will have to wait till this package gets over then, i can get month on month bill. i was told that they have raised request to change this to month on month bill plan every time.

                              I opted for the service by jan last week and as per 6+1 plan i should not be getting any bill till july end. however i have received a bill for 7k. when i called to check they told me that act is not a postpaid connection but you will have to pay in advance then use it, this was not informed to me when i opted for the connection.

                              Also i was told that they have renewed my 6 month plan and 7k amount is for that. i have been sending mails from last 6 months to put me on month on month postpaid bill plan and i was told that they have raised request for that same but still you go ahead and put me on 6 month plan. again this monday i was told that i will be put on month on month plan and i will be receiving a message withing 24 hours, saying this change is updated and i haven't received any such communication yet.

                              I am very disappointed with this kind of service. i have to sit and call and write every month for the same request.

                                I requested for a new connection and a agent from act came to my house to collect form. along with form he collected 1650₹ as installation charges. after that i didn't got any call or msg from act. so i tried to contact the local technician from act. when i spoke to him i can to know that in my area the existing server is full and they are trying to install a new server. after installing the new server only they can able to give new connections but to me while collecting the installation money and form they mentioned they installed new server and it is ready to give new connections. then i made complaint in customer service after two days got a call from act pallikaranai regarding my refund of installation charges. they said i will get my money within end of the day. now 4 days gone but still now i didn't got my my money. before giving service itself these guys are cheating a lot.

                                  Dear sir, i taken connection in act broadband on 21/6/16 and they collected approx. 1900 rs for connection and package at the time collecting the amount they told me that with in two days you will get the connection and next day i got verification call and they told me with in two days you will get the connection but still today 5/7/16 no connection.. many times i called customer care service number may raise compliant but no one responding properly.. after 10days when i call to customer service care they are simple telling that we don’t have box in that area so we cant give the connection, pretty thing that my next house person is using act broadband, but for me they are saying they don’t have a line in that area... at the time of application they collected cash 1900 now they are telling that if you cancelled the connection you will get the money after 30 days as DD in two times..

                                    I am a user of ACT Fibernet. I recently shifted to a new house and I registered a request for shifting the connection too. It has been more than 10 days now and i have not received any call or update from them. I am not able to do my office work at as i don't have internet connection. While giving connection they said that within 3 days shifting of connection will happen. While registering the request they said it will be 7 days. Now its more than 10 days. So far nothing has happened. They are not good in customer service anymore as they have got enough no of customer it seems.

                                      They are not bothering of customers complaints. They are closing the tickets (compliants) with out my permission. In billing procedure also cheating the customers.
                                      As when we are calling to customer care we must wait a lot of time its too much band to the normal customer to bare that call cost.

                                      What the hell from your employees.Since from a week I'm suffering problem I have spoken upto ur supervisor level but my wasn't solve. And additional benefits to me were stairs and loss of balance. This is the only company I saw talking to customer in this way and Nearly I loss my balance Rs.70 towards giving a complaint this is the worst scenario I have ever seen.
                                      And another thing if customer raise a ticket without his permission or enquiry how can you close a ticket that too without solving a problem.
