Dear Concerned
We have 5 cug connections in our company name even after making payments of bills, they have disconnected the out going facility.
The executive at their showroom in Hyderabad opp High Court has made a mistake by crediting total amount only in 1 number and other 4 number they are showing as due.
After repeated calls and e mails also they did not correct it and though in 1 number there is still credit balance they are not making changes.

We have sent at least 7 mails and to their email id and any number of calls to their customer care number but nothing has been done...

Again we are being asked to pay the due amount of other numbers for reactivation of services and adjust the extra amount of 1 number in future bills...

Is this the way they work..

    Air-tel is the worst company in terms of eating up your money, since they have complete monopoly over indian telecom space. They are just a fraud, incompetent, money looters company. They will not leave a single instance to deduct your money, whether it is a phone connection or internet connection or dth connection. Firstly they will sell you by luring then charge any amount hiddenly. Mr. Sunil mittal if you are listening, please do something. Otherwise we will think you are already aware of these practices and actually involved in all these money looting business.

    Yes Airtel is stealing our money. Today something happened to me. I did not have an internet plan activated in my mobile phone but due to urgency I had to switch on mobile data to use internet. I was very careful for the data that I use. So first, I used like 1.4MB and close to 1.5 Ruppees was charged. This seems ok. But then I had to send a reply in whatsapp. So i sent it switched on the mobile data and then as soon as my text was sent, I switched off mobile data. I might have used mobile data for like some 20 seconds. Then the data usage from Airtel showed I used 24MB and reduced my 24 ruppees. This is absurd! It said that I used 24MB of data in 20 seconds. That means more than 1MBps. I do not get 3G in my place. So how is this technically possible? This has happened to me before and I have ensured that there are no background auto-updates running in my Android phone.

    I called Cust. care and they said that I have used like 6000MB ( wierd like hell). They said that money does not go based on that 24MB but is related to the 6000MB and later said that it was my total usage. Then I asked why this much money did not go the first time I used (1.4MB). Then they said, that was based on the rate 10p/10KB. I still cannot believe that 24MB usage in just a few seconds. I still want a technical explanation. Planning to call them again
    yes, Airtel has become so complacent because there is no real competition. No one except BSNL that provides landline, broadband and cellular. (and no one one who provides these three plus dish tv). Have you tried to get a bsnl broadband connection? I went to the website and became a lead, no one called, it's been more than a year. I'll apply again now, let see how that shapes up.
    I recently shifted from a 1449 plan 8mbps 15gb plan paid 6 months in advance to 1599 8mbps 100gb plan, and to my surprise I received a regular bill. I called in only to discover that I somehow gave away 7k of my previous plan to shift to this one and the gentlemen who help metransition didn't as much as utter anything about me looking 7k, not that it makes any sense but still.
    I've cancelled my broadband and landline with Airtel. I will not work with a thug company. I'll be cancelling my cellular and dish tv connections as well soon
    Yes, it is. Its customer care is full of illiterate lazy a***. I feel they can easily do a cost cutting by removing off all customer care executives, since they do nothing other than irritating customer, making them run after them for any request and ultimately not solving it. So, why have them in first place ?
    I have repeatedly complained to airtel about consuming money from voice calling balances at exorbitant prices for data when data packs run out. An ethical business would provide for a way to disable data consumption once packs run out. Airtel seems to have made it a deliberate business practice to surreptitiously overcharge consumers for data services.
    Yes Airtel steals all yo money. I was browsing the net for about 2 hours in opera mini and then I got warning message that my data balance was low. I had over 500 mb. They had deducted over 400mb within 2 hours when the actual usage was about 15mb..

    General lifecycle of an Airtel customer-
    1. Experience worst service at highest prices.
    2. Try to contact Customer Care.
    3. If you are lucky enough to get to one Customer Care Representative, tell him/her your problem.
    4. Get a complain registered for the way Airtel cheated you, and they will say your complain will be processed by 2-3 days or something.
    5. Wait for 2-3 days (or whatever time they told in their false promise).
    6. A customer care representative will call you, and ask you what your complain was.
    (This is when they should be asking you whether your complain got resolved. Anyways, I mentioned before, "false promise")
    7. Then you tell them the complain all over again and get another false promise.
    8. Go to step 4.
    PS-
    After going repeatedly through step 7, you can get irritated and opt for Porting.
    Again a great person will call you and ask you why you are leaving Airtel.
    Again you go through step 7, and that great person will ask you to go to step 2.
    And that my friends, is Airtel.
    A service provider which offers "Fastest Internet Challenge", but whose 3G network Internet Speed is worse than 2G network Internet Speeds of other leading service providers.


    In short.. Of course Airtel is stealing people's money and using it to lure more victims into losing their money.

      After two months of disconnected number (because of porting between circles and poor customer care service) I finally completed all my verification process and inserted the new sim hoping for a better life... But guess what... No signal to activate. How awesome the network is.. I was morally down because all my payment and organizational documents are pending and I'm paying dues for that..         I have subscribed to Airtel Digtial TV HD package whose total monthly rental is 622. First they increased my monthly rental from Rs 608 to Rs 622. I did not complained. But now in between my package without notifying, they have disabled all HD channels. The message that is appearing is 'This channel is not a part of your package' for every HD channel. I cannot reach to their either South or North Customer Care Number. First, phone was getting disconnected. Once it was connected but the agent without listening to me told me "Thanks for calling Airtel Digital TV". How can they this to me? They will charge for each and every second and in terms of services, consumer is always at loss.

            Hi team,

            This is worst experience i have ever felt in airtel store. I only want to compaint against the store situated in ludhiana model gram kochar market.

            Yesterday i was in very tension my mobile battery got drained and i had some very important meetings. So i switched my sim card from mobile to iPad but due to no internet settings internet didnt worked.

            So, i rushed to nearest airtel store in (model gram ludhiana) i asked from the Cro to upgrade the internet sertings in my iPad after spending 5-6 minutes he said internet won't work in this iPad. I told him he might have to enter some apn settings. Then he just said call to 121. I explaiNed him my problem that from i pad i can't create calls and i urgently required internet in market.
            But he didnt listened me properly and started greeting other members who came to buy new sim. And he even refused to give me any other no. From which i can contact to customer care. There was 1more girl in the store who were busy in talkin to ph. No one handled my complaint, no one solved the issue, i have to suffer from the loss that due to this.
            So soon i am thinking to file an FIR against that store too.
            I have no issues with airtel but i want some strict actions against that store in kochar market model gram ludhiana. Kindly please update me against this.

              My bill cycle is 2nd to 1st every month. But I received 1GB data abruptly on 25th of Jan 2016. I immediately called 198 at 10:15 on 25th Jan itself.                 In my last month bill i got charged for the internet. While am activating the internet, i was informed blindly that post 2GB data only i will get charged.
                In the meanwhile i got a mail saying that am about to consume full data, at that time also called to your customer care and enquired. They said again post 2GB only charges applicable.

                Once the bill generated, asked about the internet charges they are saying its pro-data rental something & something... After long struggle with your GOLD CARE support (198) i was committed that my excessive amount Rs.710+taxes(14.5%) will be reversed. But till now only outstanding amount was adjusted. Called to your customer care many time they are not giving proper answer.So, Called to your appellate there also struggle, now your people saying they won't reverse the tax amount. If i ask for the tax amount, my already adjusted amount (Rs.476) also they will initiate to bill again.
                This one seems like threatening and looks like 100% cheating. As a corporate plan customer, am not ready to see such horrible service from AIRTEL.

                  Airtel says that my data usage suddenly increased. I was using around 10 GB per month on my 4G. Sometimes, during last few days of bill cycle, I used to purchase smart bytes (additional data). Last month within the first 9 days of bill cycle (of 30 days), I received message that I consumed 100% of my data. Then I upgraded to 25 GB plan.

                  New bill cycle started on 17th Feb 2016 and when I checked, airtel says that I consumed 5.9 GB of data in just 6 hours!!

                  This is equal to my 15 days consumption. This simply cannot happen as I intentionally avoided downloading anything and just used it for normal web services in the new bill cycle period.

                  Airtel MUST investigate this and rectify the error failing which, I will take legal action.

                      I submitted my documents to airtel sales agent Arati +91 [protected] for porting my number [protected] from Bangalore Vodafone to Airtel Mumbai. For the next few days i received all verification updates. On 06/02/2016 I received a call from Arati to check on my availability at my local address for verification. I waited for the verification to happen and everyday was told by her that for some reason the executive could not visit my premises & the verification will happen soon. After few days she started avoiding and disconnecting my calls. So I called up the customercare on 11/02/2016 only to know that my AV has been marked as negative even without doing the verification and I need to visit the airtel store and resubmit all my documents again. On 12/02/2016 I visited the airtel store and after lot of conversation with different people my AV was initiated & I was told someone will visit my premises on 13/02/2016, which did not happen. Somehow after lot of phone calls made to different department my AV was marked positive. I was told that within 48 hours i.e. 15/02/2016 my airtel number will be active. On 17/02/2016 when my number was still active I visited the airtel store again only to know that my UPC is expired and I need to generate a new UPC. I was told that since all other formalities are completed my number will get activated within 24 hours. In the meanwhile I have been receiving calls from airtel saying my number has not be ported because I must not have cleared my pending vodafone bills, my AV status is still negative, I have not submitted my documents; none of which are true. I went to airtel store again today 18/02/2016 to submit my documents. I had to do the documentation again. I have been told that they might require to issue me a new sim again. I might have to go to the store again. I have already visited the store 4 times in last one week. Because of the carelessness and unprofessional service quality of airtel I have bear extra roaming charges towards vodafone. Will airtel pay those charges on my behalf? What about all the harrassments I had to go through because Airtel did not do their job properly?

                        We live in s block greater kailash part and have been having severe network issues we have complaint to the customer care of the same multiple times and as of now the issue is open.

                                Dear Sir,

                                This is anuradha singh, who owned the number [protected] from airtel. around a year back i was travelling when my phone discontinued and on enquiry i was known the amount was near about Rs.1900/- and when after a month i came back to mumbai i got a call from airtel for the payment of rs. 4800/- as my bill.

                                As the hardcopy of the bill never received. secondly on repetitive follow up and communication from Neha from airtel collections, i was known that the extra amount over the 300 rs rentals is towards internet and add on packs and when enquired that how a non operating number can opt for add on packs and operate internet. I was given a choice to settle the amount to Rs. 2500/- which i agreed upon the term that i would required either a mail or confirmation that my remaining amount of Rs. 2300/- is waived and i would not be charged the same in future within a span of 2 days from the receipt of the cheque.

                                A written communication or oral never received due to which i holded the cheque and the cheque got bounced.

                                After one month of which i got a call and was informed that the same matter will be soughted within 2 days and from then there are no calls from customer service to solve the issue.

                                After 2 - 3 months i get a reminder call for payment and upon requesting to solve the issue they consider the matter and request to give a day or two days time to solve the issue.. but all in vain.

                                ALSO, PLEASE CHECK THE RECORDS THAT HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE CALLED AIRTEL FOR THE PROBLEM SOLVING AND ALSO PLEASE CHECK THAT I HAVE ATTENDED ALL THE CALLS DONE BY AIRTEL COLLECTION DEPARTMENT

                                And today morning, MR. DEVRAJ JOSHI calls and he says he is a government advocate and threats to put me behind bars or trouble me with routine travelling to delhi and ruining my life.. if the said amount is not paid within half an hour to the airtel.

                                The phone number of mr. devraj is [protected]. can i request the government and airtel company to solve the issues instead of threating the consumers.

                                  I have recently observed two balance issues in my account.
                                  1. I recharged my DTH account [protected] on 14th dec 2015 with 510. It showed validity till 13th Feb that time. However later in Feb, it started showing validity till 9th feb. So there was extra loss incurred someday.
                                  2.Also, on 9th Feb My account balance showed Rs. 23. I however made a recharge of Rs. 320(15 cashback), as it showed the last day of validity period. So my total balance would have been Rs. 358 on 9th. But on 14th, my balance is 288, which is Rs. 20 short, as per Rs. 10 deductions/day of my current pack.
                                  I want to know my balance history of the days, so that i can get to know when did all these balance descrepencies occur, and when did others of such type occured...Also, I want a refund of that amount. My contact no. Is [protected].

                                    I raised a complaint in the same forum a few days ago stating --
                                    I received a message from 121 stating-Recharge before expiry to get your unsed 3G Data carry forwarded .I did the same but the data has not be carry forwarded .Moreover on repetitive calls to the customer care, there is rude and unethical response from the support people .They are not ready to listen just monotonously mutter their crammed lines for all issues and talk in a harsh tone

                                    To this i received a reply from your side to mail the number and details .I have already mailed my airtel no and contact number to airtel.[protected]@airtel.com .No resolution has been done from your side .Please contact me soon regarding this issue .
