Airtel has provided a bill of 4500/- instead of 750/- which is the plan. Airtel resists to correct this bill by providing a reversal. Technical details provided prove that the bill plan communicated to me and applied at backend are two different thing.
bill details provided for March 2012 is as below. The below bill was given for a 7Gb data usage for the month of March. By the time the case was logged with technical team, the second month bill too was generated with same figure. Even providing the written communication with the Airtel team on Plan change requested and plan change applied and communicated to me did not make a difference.

Hello Rakesh Ranga,
I see your message that the issue described above is resolved. I disagree. There is no resolution given for the above mentioned issue. I got a email as early as 23/Jun/2012 from Airtel to pay up 9233 due for 2 months of datacard usage. Please see the attachment along with this post. The screen shot of my home page in Airtel login is as per attached. It still says to pay up Rs. 9233.00 for 2.5 months of Data Card usage where as the charges as per my plan should be 750*2.5 = 1875/- or 2000/- max. Please check and get back to me as to what resolution have you provided.
From my inteaction with the technical team i could find that the plan change raised for
B2B Datacard 899 Plan to Plan 3G Datacard 750 Plan
was wrongly applied as some other plan. The plan change asked for and applied as informed me was 750/- Max monthly rent for 3.5 GB usage and rest unlimited with a reduced speed.

This was wrongly applied at backed to some other plan and hence this heavy bill. It was completely Airtel technical teams mistake and it has to be reversed back.

    Hi,

    I am Aurko Ray currently working as the Area Business Manager for Hindustan Unilever...This mail is pertaining to two of my mobile numbers which were from the Karnataka circle (Bangalore)..The numbers are as follows

    [protected]- Gold Number
    [protected]- Platinum Number
    I had used both these numbers for a period of 18months.My payment track record has been impeccable to say the least and this is something which can be corroborated and validated from your records..However from the month of Jan 2012 I have moved to Hyderabad and since then I have been using an Hyderabad Airtel number ([protected])....As there was a delay in the activation of my Hyderabad number, I continued using my Bangalore number ([protected])..However from the Month of Feb 2012, I have ceased to use both my Bangalore numbers.

    In the meantime I started getting calls from your collection department regarding the non payment of my dues...The outstanding payment for both the numbers put together was in the range of 12K...However I spoke to the concerned person Mr.Pandian ([protected]) stating that I was willing to settle both the bills for an amount of Rs 8k and asked for a waiver for the balance amount...Mr Pandian at that point in time stated that if I make the payment before the 31st of May he can waive off the remaining amount..He stated that since he has collection targets he was willing to waive provided I made the payment on or before the 31st of May 2012 and he also made it clear if I make this payment in the month of June I would have to make the entire payment....To be honest I was quite happy with the settlement figure since I was not using the numbers any which ways and I felt a lot of those charges levied on my account were unreasonable.

    On the 31st of May 2012, I made a payment of 6k for my [protected] number and a payment of 2k towards [protected] and called up the collection agent Anitha ([protected])...She assured me that I will not be getting any more calls for both my numbers and also she would be sending me a settlement letter confirming the payment,the subsequent waiver and the cancellation of both my numbers...However after a lull for a period of 2 weeks or so I again start getting mails regarding the non payment of my previous dues and since I had these conversations in good faith I assumed these were auto generated mails and never paid too much heed to it.

    In the meantime I also started getting umpteen number of calls from one Mr. Syed ([protected]) asking me if i would like to convert my Bangalore numbers to prepaid...I categorically told him that I was no longer staying in Bangalore..I also updated him about my payment of 8k and asked him to cancel both those numbers (he confirmed that he would be doing the same)...On the 13th of June 2012 I again get a letter from Airtel regarding the non payment of my dues and they ask me to contact Mr.Syed [protected] for any queries...Now this is when I press the panic button..I called him up to only get a shocker saying the numbers were not yet cancelled and that it was still showing as 'LIVE' on your system...I immediately call up Anita ([protected]) the agent who was coordinating earlier, she tells me that my letter is under process and that she would be sending me a letter by the end of the day....Not convinced with her reply I call up Mr.Pandian, however this time the phone gets answered by Mr. Joshua who tells me that he would call me up in the next 10 min... Since I didn't get a revert from him I called him up 48 times between 745pm-830pm (not exaggerating!!!!)..Not once did he have the courtesy to answer my call or revert seeing those missed calls.

    I decided to take matters to hand and I visited your customer center at Begumpet (Hyderabad)...I spoke to the manager of the center Mrs. Preeti Sehgal ([protected]) and explained her my situation...She in turn tried Mr. Pandian number and even then he didn't the phone...After a few more tires he finally answers the phone telling her that he would get back with the details by afternoon and it was 1140 pm already!!!!..While i was still at the Airtel office I get a call from[protected] saying that my waiver request was not accepted and I still have to make a payment of 3k...I immediately call up Mr. Pandian and he just goes back on his word...He tells me that he had never agreed for a waiver in the first place and I would have to pay the outstanding amount.

    Is this what customer service is all about...Since I was dealing with a company like 'Airtel' most of my conversations were in good faith..I expected that since i already made a payment of 8k I would be getting a settlement letter confirming the same and they would also cancel my numbers which I have been crying hoarse about...Is this how you treat your loyal customers????...Are you guys only operating to collect dues from your customers...You should in that case stop pumping so much money towards your various campaigns trying to create a feel good factor and re emphasizing customer service and support..At this juncture I don't know who I should be dealing with this matter...I am totally distressed by the kind of treatment meted out to me..The worse part is when I am trying to explain my situation to Anitha, I hear her giggling away to glory instead o[censored]nderstanding my situation and perhaps empathizing with me..Your customer service sucks PERIOD!!!!..They are neither courteous nor can they speak basic English..The standards are appalling to say the least.

    I would expect a more positive response for a more responsible authority to reaffirm my faith in your system..I would expect people to be more courteous!!!!

      I HAVE SHIFTED TO AIRTEL DOING NUMBER PORTABILITY ON 5TH JUNE 2010.
      THEY GAVE ME THE PLAN OF 199ADVANTAGE IN WHICH THEY COMITTED TO ME GIVING 200 LOCAL+STD CALLS FREE
      200SMS FREE LOCAL+STD AND 200 MB OF DATA FREE EVERYMONTH.

      WHEN MY FIRST BILL WAS GENERATED I CAME TO KNOW THAT THE SMS WERE ONLY LOCAL AND THAT TOO A2A
      THE DATA IS FREE ONLY FOR FIRST MONTH.

      AND WHEN I LOGGED IN THE COMPLAINT THE EXECUTIVE CALLED ME AND WAS ARGUING ON ME FOR THIS AND FINNALY HE CUT THE CALL!!!

        I have been getting these unsolicited calls from [protected]. I have never registered for any such thing.
        My mobile number is also registered with airtel do-not-disturb.
        I have searched the net and couldn't find a way to get rid of this menace. Airtel call center told me to log a police complaint.

          My mobile number is [protected] and my Airtel account number is[protected] in the name MR.IQBAL AHMED,
          i was using your postpaid service, but currently i am residing in saudi arabia, so i requested to disconnect the service, due to this reason i requested your officer through letter on 11/01/2008 at AMBATTUR ROOTS branch and also requested on 121 service for the same, and also advised to adjust the remaining balance in the amount i have paid to Airtel as ISD fixed deposit which was the amount of Rs.5000/- for the last bill.and the service was disconnected on 12/01/2008, But these days i have recieved few letters from airtel on my residing address, and i am not aware of the details of those letters, i kindly request you to send me the soft copy of those letters on my respected email id.


          This mail i have already sent to you on feb 16 2008, and i recieved acknowledgement mail too for the same ie. i will be responsed within 24hrs but still its 3 months i din rcv any reply, and as im not available on my residence address i m still recieving some of your letters in india, kindly sent me the soft copy of those asap.

          i am using airtel for 3 years i like to change my plan i have asked nearly more than 5 times none of them are responsing me the correct answer for my plan change
          I have a domestic connection with Airtel. My tel number is[protected] I have been travelling abroad for the last few months and hence have not used my telephone as I do not have International roaming. I have never requested for International roaming either. Airtel has now sent me a bill for Rs.17000 with International roaming to the tune of Rs.13000 +.

          I and my wife have called airtel and spoken to numerous representatives. We have been told that they would get back to us. Despite this now we cannot get through to Airtel as the number[protected] diverts us directly to a bill payment reponse and the number[protected] is now unreachable through my airtel ( I think it is blocked ).

          Now I have got a message to pay or else my telephone will be taken off the signal.
          Airtel - call me and fix this problem - I have made too many calls and have been very reasonable. I am surprised at the complete disinterest of your customer service agents. I will not pay you a incorrect bill so please sort this out or I will have no recourse bu to move the court against you for harrassment and blackmail.

          Iam Using an Airtel Preapid connection From Last 1 And Halfyear, And My Mobile No is [protected] iam Facing A Newtwork Problem In My Area Since last 6 Months Due To Which i Have Reasied A Lots Of Complaint But Still There Is No Responce From There END When I call To Customer care People For My SR Status Even Floor Inchearge And TL's Are Disconnecting My Call,
          Because Of This Airtel Services I Lost My Uncle, actully He Is Admitted In Hospital Because he met With Accident and He need B+ Blood AS he Lost Lot of Blood and My Blood Group Is Also Same, They Tried For this blood In all they Blood banks But They Did Not get The Blood In Any Of The Blood Bank AS There Is no Stock Available, So Finally They Tried To Call me On My Mobile It Was Saying As The No is Out Of Reach, accident happened At Morning 10:00AM, And I Come To Know About This Problem at 7:00PM and It Was Alredy Late Because My Uncle Expired At 2:00PM, And This Is Happend Only Because of Airtel And i Want To Take An serious Action On This Guys And i want My All The Airtel Connection To be Cancelled Even Postpaid And All my Land Line Connections iam From AP

Now before 1 month ago i recharged Rs 248 A power Pack to reduce the STD rates...but it only work for a very short time & the validity of this is for 3months...i already complaint many times on customer care...but i dont get any response from ur side...now tell me what i do...?           I am calling since morning on your customer care num [protected], but there is no response no one is picking up the phone .. i have a query to reagarding my broadband connection .. if the company itself is not respondind so its better i go for another option . its not only airtel which provide broadband there are many others ... if the airtel people have some shaame left then pick up your customer care numbers in time

          My Airtel landline no :[protected], i have a broadband connectin
          from Airel and till 2 days back i was satisfied with the support recieved .
          Since I planned to shift to a new place i called up Airel CC to do a feasibility check
          They called me back promptly to inform that the new place doesnt have NETWORK and informed
          me to contact CC to cancel the account . I called CC to cancel the account
          on Mar 11 and one lady named Aruna ( she was rude on the phone ) informed that she placed a request .
          After that I have contacted Airtel CC 4 times to find the status and every one keeps repeating the same stuff
          they will place a cancellatin request .
          last Agent whom I spoke refused to ESCALATE the call to his manager even though I requested that I have
          nothing against him and just want to inform my concern to his manager .
          I did inform that tomorrow i am moving to the new place and need to finish this process today itself .
          Last agent whom i spoke was rude and finally i had to disconnect the call since i was not getting any help .

          My Airtel no. is [protected] (Gandhinagar). I have recharged Rs 96 for 40 p (A2A) and 40 p (A2O). But today the call charges are Rs 1.50 per minute. I contacted customer care, but they didn't response and cut the call. So check this mistake and refund the extra charges made till now.
          My Connection Account No.is 148657, connection being in the name of Mrs. Suprabha Sahai. I have paid a sum of Rs.1100 as of 3rd September, 2009,but my connection still remains disconnected. Also, on my repeated enquiry, they suggested I pay installation charges, and I have given a sum of Rs. 400 on 14th November'09, However, the person in concern, some Mr. Shivpal is now conveniently ignoring my phonecalls, and I am unable to contact anyone at Airtel.
          Please disconnect this connection with imeediate effect.

          Their call center is a tragedy - no agents to pick calls. Many calls get dropped.
          On the rare occassion they answer it gets 15 to 25 minutes to hear - Thank you for waiting.
          My call is unresolved for 36 hours despite promises to send engineer 30 hours back. And agian today 10 hours ago.
          My advice stay away from AIRTEL if you are planning DTH.

          Well after 8 calls (of which only two got answered & rest got dropped), I am still waiting for an engineer.
          Each call goes on endless hold with a sick music tone for 15 to 20 minutes. So till now I have spent 160 minutes of my weekend time on airtel call center.
          They have no way of knowing if a call is closed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The gentleman at other end was asking me " Oh nobody contacted you?"
          My weekend also just evaporated waiting for their engineer.
          As a customer & a senior mahagement professional my final view is that Customer Service is not in Airtel DNA. In future I will avoid Airtel - probably even for my company requirement.

          I'm Karthik ([protected]), I raised a complaint to airtel customer desk, about charing excess amount in the bill. After few weeks, one of the executive called me and found himself that there was a an billing error & said that he will be back with the exact amount to be paid.
          Again, few weeks later, Waive off team called me & asked me to pay just the rent,such that they can close the issue.
          I paid the corresponding amount & got the bill. Now, they have sent an mail stating that I have to pay the amount or have to face the case legally.

          I want to help me get above mentioned points asap or else you will be losing business and get bad name to company through word of mouth n ...

            My name is praveen kumar having [protected] Airtel post paid connection, i am facing problem with billing which is because of Airtel customer care executives wrong commitment.. due to this my number got in-active since long. please see the following wrong commitments which i faced from Airtel CC executives

            1. One of Airtel executive contact me over phone and explained me that... sir we have the plan of 249. which will give you 1000 minutes talk time ( Local / Std).. as i required the std, I have done port my idea number to Airtel….

            2. After convert I got a call from[protected]Airtel Customer care) another Airtel executive.. as she confirmed me that my plan of 249 is for 1000 Local minutes only its not for STD… if this is the case I need not to take 249 plan of postpaid connection.

            3. Again on 30th March i got a call from another Airtel Executive & he suggest me to take 250 plan... as per him i will get 500 std minutes free in this, also 10sms/day i can get with this plan.... if i convert to that plan now all my calls during this month will be calculated as per the 250 plan. i had recoded his plan details tooo.

            4. I got a bill of Rs.1052 on 12th April as per the 249 plan only.. and when i call to Airtel customer care again... This time their CC Executive is telling me that there is no such plan (250 Plan)..

            5. After so many of mails to Airtel customer care.. they ask me to mail Nodal office, then i mailed to nodal office with attachment of Rs.250 Plan recorded communication. i didn't receive any communication from Nodal office.

            6. as i am not getting any responses from Airtel customer care end & i am continuously mailing to CC.. mean while i got a call from CC regarding of bill payment.. i told them to solve my billing problem.

            7. they didnt solve my problem instead, they have done my SIM in-active on 14th May .. the same thing i have done mail to nodal office again on 15th May ... so far i didnt get any communication from their end.. and my sim still in-active mode

              Airtel has been harassing me for the last 14 days now on account of document submission. First they deactivated my outgoing calls citing that they didnt receive my documents. (This inspite of handing over the documents twice to the Airtel customer care representative). Then when I mailed them the scanned copy, they reverted the number temporarily. But now they have deactivated the number totally saying that they have still not received the documents. And I have been been expecting some urgent calls on my number today !!

              I have never been meted this worse type of a customer service by any company. Is there a way to drag them to court ?

              I am Md sartaj my Mobil number was [protected] I have submit a requested to deactivate my number on 22 of December in uttam nagar after paying all dues it was Rs.1743. But there is no response from their side. Neither I use that number after 22 of December nor there is any incoming and out going calls on that number. And I don’t know why they are regularly sending me monthly bills.
              How many times I have called to customer care but they are not taking action by saying that your number is activate and pay all the dues then this number will be deactivate.

                From Last 10 days I am talking to Airtel Sales/Marketing person With Mr.Kiran Bhosale Mob No.[protected]. He told me that the connection with be ready within 1-2 Hours because in my building the disc is common so connection will can made immediately. Then I have called him on monday for the connectivity. From last 2-3 days again I Have called him several time. But unfortunately he never called me. Then I have received a call from Mr.Aslam and he has forwared me SMS by saying Mr.Vijay Chikhalkar ( [protected]) will attend the call. I have called him today morning by 2:00pm and he has promised that he will complete the work today. Then Mr.Manish Kamathe from frontline salesmart pvt Ltd came to collect the cheque and I have handed over the Saraswat Co.OP.Bank cheque of Rs. 2,840/- for two connections with receipt No. 4054 at 4:30 and he has also promised that today before 8:00pm the engineer will come and install the connection. I have given several calls to Mr.Aslam but always he has promised that he will send the engineer and also he will call me within 10 minutes but it was never happened. I have called atleast 8-10 times to him. He has kept me hold more than 10 minutes and then disconnected the call but he never called me back. Then he has send me SMS at 8:22pm to call Installation Manager -[protected]. I have called him the new reply was same saying the material is not ready so he will send the engineer day after tomorrow. This is really very bad practise of your employees. Today whole day I was sitting at home and giving calls to all your responsible persons but noting happened. It is like no communication between them and nobody is interested in complete the calls. Only giving troubles to the customers. Now take actions on them and see that it should not repeat again or customers should get such bad experience.

                  Hi,

                  This is to bring in to your notice that Airtel has been very lousy in Customer Care and Servicing for the below actions:

                  1. On the 2nd of June, I had called 12150 from my registered mobile number for the Account [protected] to enquire about a Multi-Room Connection.
                  2. I was advised that the charges for a new HD Multi Room Connection would be INR 2190 and that on successful payment, the installation would be done within 24 hours.
                  3. I made the payment on the 2nd of June itself through the IVR by using my Citibank Credit Card. Unfortunately, I do not have the reference number here because I did not expect what was going to happen in the future.
                  4. I received a confirmation message from Airtel that the Installation of the Multi-Room connection would be done within 24 hours. This was the 2nd of June, 2012.
                  5. I was expecting the technicians on the 3rd of June, but no one turned up.
                  6. On the 4th of June around 4PM, the technicians apparently went to the location to install the connection, but since I hadn’t informed my parents about this, and since I was not present in the location, my parents had requested the technicians to come in and install the next day, which is the 5th of June. It should be noted here that I was not called on my RMN, nor was an appointment taken as to when the installation could be done. Rather, it appears that Airtel technicians work as per their whims and fancies and fix up their own timings, not even caring to inform the Customer that they would be appearing for an installation at a particular time.
                  7. OK, on the 5th of June, nobody from Airtel Digital TV turned up to do the Installation.
                  8. Same was the case on the 6th of June & 7Th of June.
                  9. On the 8th of June, which was a Saturday, I was completely pissed off, and called 12148 to register a complaint. However, I was promised that the installation would be done within 24 hours.
                  10. But again the same case, nobody turned up and also, there was no message or no calls to my RMN.
                  11. I called 12148 again on 11th of June, again they promised an installation within 24 hours. But no use, because, everyone at Airtel appear to be playing tennis i.e. just put the ball in someonelse’s court.
                  12. I tried all possible Customer care numbers, spoke to numerous Customer Care executives. The agenda seems to be the same, when you have no answer, you just say that you will connect to your Supervisor and after holding the line for more than 5 minutes, the call gets disconnected.
                  13. Today is the EOD of 13th of June 2012, even now, I tried calling Customer Care a few minutes ago, the same response.
                  14. It appears that nobody in Airtel is eager to solve the problem, they are just eager to blame another department for the same.

                  This is pathetic behavior from Airtel, as a company, now I see why Tata Sky Scores very high on the Customer Service Front. I have never ever experienced such a delay, nor have I had to struggle so much to just get another connection, and that too after making a payment of INR 2190 upfront!!! I have searched to see who the concerned people at Airtel are, but there is no information on whom to contact in case of such issues, so I am sending this email to this ID. I am also planning to lodge a case with the Consumer Forum for negligence and for not providing the services as promised.

                  In addition to this, I am also lodging this information on the website www.consumercomplaints.in so that everyone are aware of the pathetic service which is being provided by Airtel.

                  In my Case, this is nothing less than sheer nonsense, I don’t have any more patience for calling the Customer Care Nos., nor do I intend to do so. I am taking legal action, I just am sending this email because of the agony which I have faced!

                  A completely Frustrated Customer.

                      mental torture for the following matter:

                      Please note that I have taken above phone for using internet (broadband connection). As I shifted my residence to another place, I wanted to cancel the connection. I gave a call to the customer care for disconnection of the same as the the feasibility is not available in my area for trasfer of the connection.

                      There have been other interactions where I have re-requested them the same, but they are simply sending me the monthly bill adding the interest for services that have not been provided/requested/used.

                      Also now they are threatening me of giving a legal notice.

                            Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                            The past two months have been a trial by fire for me as an Airtel customer. You have some good schemes and have had exemplary service in the past because of which I have remained a loyal Airtel Customer for many years in different circles; be it Maharashtra and Goa, Mumbai or even Rajasthan. However, you're standards seem to be at an all time low recently and its quite ridiculous considering you are now sponsoring a program on social change and trying to teach the nation how to behave while you can't even get your customer service agents in your call centres to behave properly with customers. There is an announcement whenever a call is transferred to an agent stating that this call may be recorded for internal training purposes. However, I think that there isn't any such training actually happening or at least one of these call would have been monitored and recorded where you're agents have behaved rudely.

                            I have a list of complaints that I hope can be resolved:
                            1) Primary Complaint: Large balance deductions from my main account supposedly due to internet and Airtel live usage. These deductions were to the tune of around INR 350/- if not more over the period of a week. The reason these charges are unjustified is that I have an internet pack (previously of Rs. 198/- and now of Rs. 98/-) active which still has the vast majority of included data available.

                            2) Incompetence: Many of your agents just do not know why things happen and seem like raw fresh recruits who have been thrown in the deep end without adequate preparation.

                            3) Misdirection and Misinformation: Agents have tried double speak to try to confuse me into believing that the charges were valid. I was even transferred to a "supervisor" who claimed the same and refused to do anything to help. In fact, she even said that there was nothing she can do or will do and disconnected the call.

                            4) Rude Behaviour: Disconnecting tough callers and pretending that there is a network issue is an old trick but apparently still a favourite at Airtel.

                            5) Calls Blocked: I have been unable to get through to any customer service representatives for the past many days through my Airtel number and have been forced to call from my IDEA simcard to be able to speak to anyone. No matter what number I try, 198/121/[protected], they all say "please hold the call we are transferring you to a customer service rep, call will be chargeable" etc and then the call disconnects automatically.

                            6) Delay in complaint resolution: I managed to register my complaint with one gentleman who was also a super visor but unfortunately whose name I do not recall, on the 3rd of this month. Your website proudly displays this case as still open. (Refer to point no. 6 in the table below) This gentleman in question had acknowledged that my compaint was genuine and there shouldnt have been any deductions and said that there would be a refund by the 6th of June which clearly has not happened yet. As is clearly visible here, there are multiple calls on the same day as each time the call is disconnected without a resolution of the complaint.

                            I activated the daily gprs service of Airtel worth rs 18/day on 25th September. I tried to deactivate it on 26th but they didnt register my request, i called the customer care and asked them to stop the service immediately. They confirmed the deactivation verbally i asked them to send me a message for the same but they didnt send it. After some time my service got renewed and Airtel again deducted my balance. This Happened 3rd time with me.

                              I've been recieving unwanted sms in my airtel prepaid connection (+91-[protected]) for the past few months.
                              Every now and then i get a message from Airtel stating that i've been subscribed to some sms service and is charged at some rate per day. To my knowledge i've never tried subscribing to these services.
                              I then tried unsubscribing to these messages ,but no use .
                              This is an unneccessary botheration to me as i'm getting these messages all through out the day & night time and the funniest part is that i'm being charged for this service which i never wanted and which i'm trying deliberately to get rid of.

                              Please block all unnecessary messages and please dont come back with the unwanted airtel calls (which i've somehow managed to get down )

                              Airtel Mobile Services — Unnecessary Messages

                              Sir,

                              Airtel is sending me un-necessary masseges inspite of registering in National Do Not Call Registry Few months back.

                              I had made few complaints at various dates that I am continuously receiving promotional masseges from various companies. I had also read out the list to the customer care executive and taken the complaint nos. But still I am receiving the masseges. Further to this they are themselves sending miss call alert subscription masseges to us at various times. This is very irritating at many times.

                              Sir, I am frustated with these masseges and request you to plz help us in this regard.

                              AirTel — Unnecessary SMS and charges

                              I have been receiving some useless messages, jokes and cricket alerts from Airtel. I ignored them for some time with the assumption that these are free promotion messages. One day I received a message saying that you will be chaged Rs 5 everyday for cricket updates. I called up the Airtel Customer Care to enquire about this. To my surprise they told me that I have opted for these services which is completely baseless. Its a shame how Airtel and other similar service providers operate, just to acheive their business targets. Also the sms says, you can unsubscribe by dialing some xyz number. I tried for an hour but all I heard was: due to some "technical" problem unsubscribtion cannot be done.

                              Airtel Mobile Services — Unnecessary Charges

                              Dear Sir/ Madam,

                              My Name is Pawan Kumar aged 57 years. I am using Airtel Prepaid Number [protected]. The Service Provider are constant charging me for Friendz Chat and Cricket Updates for which I have not subscribed. Moreover they have deducted Rs.99/- for Sonic Cricket Gamedownload again for which I have never asked for. I tried to complaint to customer Care but they said deny this and saying that they are not going to waive off the balance deduction.

                              Please advice me how to proceed further

                                Every couple of months Airtel automatically discontinues sending bill of one of our landline connections[protected]. For all other numbers connected at our address this problem does not happen. I had complained a couple of months back and they sent me paper printout bill. But, again they have sent their bill by email, that anyway does not open. I HAVE NEVER opted for the email version only. Please get it sorted out at the earliest or I would like to disconnect my phone.
                                I am having the fixed line[protected]. In spite of complaints I did not get the bill for august and september. I paid in advance Rs.415 on 29th
                                July, the amount due as per your counter computer clerk at Arcot Road Show Room. Now after repeated complaints I have received the bill for the period ending 10th August 2012 charging Rs.100 for penalty! I have not so far received the bill for the period ending 10th Seotembver. I request
                                you to send me the printed bill for September and also future bills in time to enable me to pay promptly If this complaint is not attended to,
                                I need to go in for the other service provider. In fact I represented to an Executive at the Arcot Road ShowRoom on 29th July but without any result.

                                The landline is not working while the net is on. I am a user of airtel in Madurai since inception but the service at Chennai is not to my satisfaction.

                                  My complaints on Airtel 4G.

                                  Issue 1: I requested for 4G connection from Airtel website. As executive has come to my place showed me the demo. And I am very happy with the speed.
                                  Next day I got a call from Airtel saying that there is no coverage in my area. I was shocked.
                                  But when I called and asked the executive who showed me demo, he said that there might be a miscommunication. Later I bought Airtel 4g LTE CPE (wireless) device and got activated within 4 hours.
                                  Ofcourse the calls from Airtel didn't stop saying that there is no coverage.

                                  I was happily using this for 10 days then I got another issue:

                                  Issue 2: My airtel 4g account got suspended. When called to customer care they informed me that it is due incomplete documentation. Though I submitted all the documents initially, I don't know why they disconnected my connection and they asked me to submit my documents in ANY airtel showroom. But remember not all Airtel showrooms accepts documents. Only few showrooms do this.

                                  In the showroom I understood that I am facing issues because of the sales executive who has given me the connection. He has not done the documentation properly and missed my documents.

                                  Issue 3: Airtel is having many types of customer cares, Airtel Postpaid, Airtel Prepaid, Airtel Technical support, etc.. You need to have clear idea of the issue you are facing and call to the respective all center. If you call a wrong call center and if ask you them to transfer the call to a right call center, they will not do it. They will say that they are transferring call to their manager and they disconnect the call.

                                  Issue 4: Airtel Postpaid customer care only provides information but not the resolutions. They are helpful but very rude and don't have any knowledge on their products. Surprisingly one of the executive who talked to me don't know that 4g is available with Airtel.

                                  Sales Executive is Niranjan. Do not deal with this guy. He is very polite during the sales and very rude post sales.

                                  Finally I don't suggest Airtel 4G as it is expensive (both device and plans) and for the above reasons.

                                  I think my issue will not get resolved for next few days.

                                  Another case of pathetic service from Airtel for 4G. The draft of the mail sent to the Airtel agent Lakshmi Enterprise as below

                                  ""Dear Mr.Siddaiah Swamy,
                                  This is further to the ongoing discussion with you, Ravi Kumar and the staff in your office regarding AirTel 4G that LeCroy India has subscribed. We regret to inform you that even after the necessary documents has been take from us, we have not been provided the service. The case has been summarised as below.

                                  Your executive Mr.Ravi Kumar visited out office on 14th May'12 with the necessary documents that was collected back with the appropriate sign and seal. The 4G Dongle was purchased by us on the same day. Receipt #014 Dt. 14.05.2012 against Lakshmi Enterprises for Amount Rs. 7, 999/- Paid vide Cheque# 800718 HDFC Bank, Koramangala, Dt. 14-May'12.

                                  We were assured of connectivity the same day. However there was no connectivity provided upto a week. Upon enquiring, we were told that the application was rejected and another set of doc's were taken from our office duly signed with seal.

                                  After much pressure we were provided the connectivity by the last week of May'12. That did not last for one week. we found that the connection was temporarily disconnected due to clarification in the doc's provided. Till date there has been no update even after one more doc was provided

                                  The purpose for which the connection was required is not needed now. Due to the lax attitude of Airtel, we have taken another service for our company need.

                                  We DO NOT want the said non-functioning service. Please note the dongle shall be returned. Kindly refund back the payment made. And please be advised that we shall not pay any bill that would be charged for this service

                                    My broadband stopped working all of a sudden. On contacting Airtel customer service, they suggested that my service modem be replaced. After a week, a person came to replace the service modem. He charged me 400 which includes 150 for his visit. But, he did not configure the modem. He told that another person will come to configure the modem. But no one came for the next two days. After two days, I raised a service request with Airtel to configure the modem. Airtel closed the service request as processed - No one came to fix the problem. On contacting customer service, they gave me tips to reconnect the wires, the OS used, and all kinds of irrelevant tips. The whole experience with Airtel broadband is harassing. I wish I could sue them for the inconvenience caused. After two weeks of complaints, the broadband is still not fixed.

                                    i had purchase a broad band from airtel and givel rs 1750 at that time as it was my new connection .
                                    i had face lots of difficulty since last month my modom has been changed several times but the company provided me with the old modom i do not konw as i had given money for the new and it is there fault in the modom that it has changes several times. but than also the company refuses to provide with me the new modom
                                    as i face lots of difficulty as the modom is not workingso i request the company to give concession in my bill amount but they refuse

                                      Two months back , I opted for an SMS Pack @ Rs.36/= Per Month with M/s.Airtel. I thought of leaving it , once when it expires after a period of 30 days. But, unfortunately M/s.Airtel have automatically renewed the SMS service pack, with out waiting for my acceptance. When I tried to reply on their message , I was not getting connected and hence I left is as such under forced circumstances. Again, this month also , I have received a message for automatic renewal of SMS pack. Fearing, that they (M/s.Airtel) will automatically Debit Rs. 36/= from my balance, I have not topped up for any talk time offer, till date for the last 10 days. All my efforts to reach customer care thro' their Airtel Relationship Centre @ Kodambakkam , have been invain as the hotlines are out of order for most of the days and Airtel Relationship centre staff's are advicing me again and again to apporach thro' hot line only. Net result I could not use my mobile for want of insufficient balance. Please do help me to come out of this situation and ensure that no amount is debited from any customer's account with out getting their approval.

                                        I have taken airtel broadband connection around 2nd week of April'12 , today i.e on12th of June there was no Internet connection since morning, even after the launch of complaint, customer care executive didn't greeted properly, after about 5 to 6 hrs of hustle with executives finally we got to know that there has been deactivation of the service from nowhere. One day before connection was perfect but next day suddenly it was deactivated, and they failed to give any valid reason for the same. And on top of that they were asking to revise the connection with all the payments again or we have to wait for 7 days without Internet so that they can rectify the problem.
                                        But what i don't understand is that if there is no due in bills, and we haven't applied for deactivation then why we have to wait unnecessarily for 7 days without connection ? And why the customer care executive, when failed to give the reason, they simply disconnect the call which is very convenient for them but very difficult for me every time i have to explain the same thing to every new executive.
                                        Customer care are to support the customer and not to harass them.
                                        I really hope something should good really should come out with this complaint.
