AN Awefull Experience by AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE
I'm writing this at 3.17 pm June 10, after all my efforts have failed to get my internet service up by calling 121. I apologies for being rude, but there are LIARS sitting in customer services team for Airtel. Below is the sequence of events which happened and will show how I was fooled by your customer service
1 pm June 9, I noticed my modem/router is not working, made a call to 121. Surprisingly, agent is asking money for sending some one to have a look at it. I explained him and then this so called escalation manage came on line and COMMITTED to me a call in 2 hrs and engineer at my place to resolve it. NEVER HAPPENED
Made another call in evening after waiting for couple of hours, another agent gave me a commitment that 30 mins some one will call me, NEVER HAPPENED.
Made another call after 1 hr, another commitment that in 30 mins someone will call me, NEVER HAPPENED.
Made another call at 7.45 pm, agent was trying to give me same commitment as other had given, but when I asked for escalation team, I met this lady SARITA, who was actually the best. She gave me commitment which was even more sophisticated than others and obviously NEVER HAPPENED. She told me sir, rt now it's 8 pm and no one would be available, she will ensure that someone from the backend team call me to resolve the issue before 10 am in morning. till now nothing happened.
I called up another time hoping, Airtel Customer team would have at least 1 genuine agent, but to the best of my expectations another commitment for 2 hrs, NEVER FULL FILLED.
This was my final call which I made to Airtel and told agent that I will not disconnect the call until I get someone who can resolve my issue, he was really SMART, he transferred me to some hold music and then disconnected the call. I would request to hear the call log of this agent and what he said before transferring the call, he was aware the call would get disconnected, hence he said, I'm transferring, after that hold the call over there only.
Now most important factor, I also tried calling vendor who's supposed to come and look at my modem by paying him money, he tells me no way he's coming to my place, instead I need to carry my modem to his shop which is 20 km from my place. Common, are we talking customer service or teaching me how a vendor like Airtel rules and does not care for customer services.
Have you ever given me service without money, NO, then why should I wait for resolution. If there would have been a fault which is beyond control like cable cut etc, I can understand, but this is absurd.

AirTel — Airtel Worst Customer Service
Dear Friends,I am posting this as due to AIRTEL worst customer service. Here is my case…
I have filled the enrollment form on 2nd Feb , 2011 for AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION through customer care executive – Mr Pramod , made a cash deposit of Rs.500/-( which as per the normal process would be adjusted through first bill).
Mr.Pramod committed that Airtel Broadband connection will be installed on 3rd Feb 2011 positively by evening . On 3rd Feb 2011 received a call from Mr.DIGVIJAY (customer care executive) that there are some technical up gradations, so will not be able to install it on 3rd Feb 2011 and committed that it would be installed on 4th Feb 2011. I though it’s a reasonable thing to wait for 4th Feb 2011.
On 4th Feb 2011 , called up at AIRTEL Customer service provided them my CEF number , they advised that the details yet not updated I there system. Again called up Mr.Pramod for the same he advised that AIRTEL engineers are on the way for installation , waited for next 1.5 hr – 2 hrs but no one came at my place. Then again called up Mr.DIGVIJAY, when I gave him a reference of a call that he made to me on 3rd Feb 2011 informing about the reason that he gave me related to technical up gradation , on this he completely refused that he hasn’t made any call to me and was very rude talking to me on phone. He then gave me another reason that my connection number has not yet come as due to some Bar code problem.
I still don’t understand what the hell has happened to AIRTEL customer sevice. A bunch of frauds sitting at a customer care department who blames customer that he is telling lie.
Friends think twice before going for any AIRTEL service.
