Hello All,

This is really frustrating availing your services where no body id responding to any mails.

Below query is still not been solved yet. Reversal of 30/- is not been done for previous deduction. Again Yesterday 30/- has been deducted for the same service Friend's Chat. Request you solve the query ASAP.

Even I had launched a compliant in Consumer forum today. Also I am continuing the Airtel service after the balance is over on [protected].

I had not received any reply of the below query. Please check and do needful for below 2 points:-

1) No reversal of Rs 30/- is done in my account till date.
2) I am still receiving unwanted calls from the numbers -- [protected]/145/147 and [protected]/610 (11 digit numbers)

We regret for the delay in response to your mail.

We would like to inform you that Rs.30/- was deducted due to voice chat services on 18/08/2011.

Further we would like to inform you that the above mentioned services is deactivated from your airtel mobile with effect from 19/08/2011. Also a reversal of Rs.30/- has been made in your airtel account as one time benefit on 19/08/2011.

Also we understand that the unwanted promotional communication must have caused you inconvenience and wish to assure you that, airtel works actively to ensure that this kind of communication is disciplined in order to provide greater comfort to the telecom customers.

In order to initiate an investigation into your complaint, we would require complete details related to the Unsolicited Customer Communication (UCC) received by you. Please provide us with the following details:

- Date of receipt of promotional SMS/Call

- Time of receipt of promotional SMS/Call

- Brief description of the promotion

- Telemarketers SMS Sender ID / 10-digit phone number

We would also recommend the following measures to further avoid unwanted promotional communications:

- Do not give out your airtel number [protected] unless absolutely necessary.

- Do not fill unnecessary forms at Hotels, Restaurants, Shops, and Malls etc., through which your airtel number [protected] may get circulated and reach the telemarketers.

- To ensure that your personal information is not misused, avoid leaving your number on visiting cards or mentioning it on feedback/subscription forms.

We hope that we have been able to address your request suitably.

Hello Sir/Madam,

I am facing problem with the unnecessary deductions from Airtel in my Prepaid
Mobile number ([protected]).

Earlier 1 month back there was deduction of Rs75/- for hello tune and Rs 30/-
for Chat. Any of such service was not activated by me.
Immediately called the customer care and according to them this services was
activated by me. I told them to deactivate any of such services on this Phone
number. Nothing was happened till date.

In the morning again Rs. 30/- was deducted from my account.

Also I had make request for "Do Not Disturb" service, but still I am getting
many calls from unknown numbers (12 digit numbers).

Due to no such good response from Airtel service, it might I will go for
"Consumer Forum Complaint" or I may change all my numbers with other service
provider (Within 2 Days).

Request you to act fast on the two above matters ASAP. Please refund all the
money which was deducted earlier.

    I have been depositing my cheques for monthly payment of dues at the Kairali Apartments, Panampilly Nagar , Cochin drop box for > a year. For past 2-3 months collection from this authourised drop box of yours is erratic and I have had to pay fines for late payment. Kindly ensure that person collecting cheques from this drop box is regular.

      My name is Kalavati m Chigadannavar.... the reason to right u is that i had ported my mobile number that is [protected] from dolphin(mtnl, mumbai) to airtel last month and i have given all the documents to airtel retail center and it was succesfuly ported and it was working properly and even i have recharged it ... but after a week my number is not working anymore it says all incoming and outgoing calls are barred ... and now at present it says number does not exists... i mailed a complaint to airtel service provider many times but they did not replied..... i m totally confused ....... sir i request u to please help me and look into the matter as i m loosing my important contacts

      Dear sir,
      Myself Anoop kumar,
      I got my prepaid connection "[protected]" with a Sim no. [protected] packed on june'11 in the month of July last as far as i remember.
      Recently i connected a call to a friend of mine but the call get diverted to an Airtel executive who later on make me aware that its a verification procedure on behalf of Airtel checking out whether the customers are authentic or not.
      Later after his verification procedure, he made me know that everything is ok in my case.
      But by the next very day i got a display on my screen as "Invalid Sim".
      Now can you please let me know where the problem was ?
      I am highly disturbed by such a sophisticated service of your ; so called "Express Yourself".
      If now you find me authentic, then please do the further doings or let me know the procedure to assure you.

        complaint:i was being charged for devotional pack and m.bazar_deal_verse which airtel claims i requested it for on 6th of september 2011... i usually use bsnl .used this sim for one day that too for a days internet pack of rs 5 which i could'nt activate because the letters on the recharge voucher were too small... next thing i had this service on by itself and was charged 2 rs /day for the same. i am registered in the do not disturb category...so the customer care guy says i wont even receive this service devotional messages for which iam being charged...
        he told me to dial*121*5# to deactivate this service which i did on 16th sep 2011.
        i have a querry for airtel when iam in do not disturb category how can i receive the plan idea ????(by itself???)

        My mobil No is [protected]. on 17/09/2011 while I was sleeping i receives a call from airtel. when I came to know that it was an unsolicited pesky call I discontinued. soon i received a message that Rs.20/- has been deducted for dialing Firangi music. I do not no what it is and I never heard/availed that service. This is not the first time, previouslt too it happened two, three times. This amounts to unfair/illogical business practice charging customers for unvailed services. I want the Rs.20 to be refunded failing which I will take up the matter with concerned depts and report to media about Airtel's unfair practice which is equalled with highway robbery

          My name is Rajesh Ranjan having an Airtel no. i.e. [protected] has mailed you nnnn... no. of times Regarding De-Activation of Total Video Subscription, every time, i received a Ref. No. but nothing has been done, many times, i received the the deducted amount but some times no response.
          Today again, 15 Rs has been deducted & I had words with your different Floor Supervisors named Mr. Ajay & Mr. .. actually I didn't remember the name. They said, " If you are unable to deactivate the service then, Company will deactivate the same automatically". Now, I am unable to deactivate the service, now it's your turn to fulfill ur commitment. The Ref. No. today i received is RALDC[protected].
          Please deactivate this service.

          Actually, a service named Airtel video talkies has been activated at my no. I
          made a call to Customer Care Executive on 18/07/2011 But they are saying that
          there is no service activated at this no., however Rs 15.00 had been deducted
          but they have credited the amt. same day. Today again, I received the message
          i.e. Your weekly subscription to Video Talkies will be renewed in 3 days and
          you will be charged Rs. 15 for 7 days.
          .Again,I received the same message of Video Talkies dated 30/07/2011 at 09.17a.m. i.e. Your weekly subscription to video talkies will be renewed in 3 days and you will be charged Rs. 15 for 7 days.           Again secondly on 02/08/2011 at 11.18 a.m., I received the same message i.e. "Your weekly subscription to Video Talkies will be renewed in 3 days and
          you will be charged Rs. 15 for 7 days". And Rs.15 has been deducted.

          The mail which I received from you side was " We would like to inform you that your concern related to the deactivation of the Full Video service has been registered. Your Service Request number is [protected], in any future communication about this concern. Our team will contact you on or before[protected] with an update on the same." Till today, I didn't receive any call regarding this service. If it's possible for your technical team to deactivate the service, then its OK, otherwise, i think I'll change the Airtel No. & go for some other no. b'coz its not possible for me to sit in a cyber-cafe after 3 alternate day & mailing you for this.

          again today, Rs 15.00 has been deducted from my A/c. I[censored] are not able to deactivate the service, tell me, i'll change my no. & in future, never ever, I'll use Airtel. Pareshan kar diya hai aap logo ne, kehte ho ki hamara executive baat karega, aur aajtak 1 ph. tak nahi aaya.

          On every complain, they will give us a new request number, but of no use.

          Video talkies has been activated on my number and was charged with 35rsbfor 12 days. However the moment I spoke to Diksha (Customer service rep-Airtel), she not only credited the balance, but she also deactivated all Vas. And all this was done in 2 minutes. The best part of Airtel is Customer Service. Not like other providers. Thank you so much Airtel for the wonderful services.

            I've port my number to airtel 2 days ago. My number has started working but when im trying to send the request through SMS to 121, I am unable to activate Airtel Prepaid Blackberry Internet services.

            I have provided the following details as requested by Airtel Blackberry customer support at Bb.[protected]@airtel.in

            1- Customer Name - Rahul Jain
            2- Blackberry Mobile Number[protected]xx
            3- Blackberry Model Number - 9700
            4- PIN Number - 2172e2a5
            5- IMEI Number[protected]xxx
            5- Circle - Punjab
            6- Plan needed - WBIS (weekly BIS serice plan)
            7- Error while activating the services, still get the error message,"We are unable to process your request. If you are a new Prepaid customer please try again after 24 hours. Postpaid customers can call 121 for activation."

            Ive tried calling customer support centre 100 times but they dont have any solution to my problem. There is no proper support and training to these stupid customer centre executives. Half of the time the customer centre number doesnt go through.

            I would request to kindly provide resolution to my problem or i want to again port back my mobile to another service provider. I port to Airtel thinking that their Blackberry services are the best but to my surprise its the pathetic.

            Awaiting your reply at the earliest. Kindly help me get a resolution in 24 hours or kindly get me my new UPC code for porting to another service provider.

            Mr. Rakesh,

            Im sorry to say but i think you have not checked you email airtelpresence. Ive clearly mentioned my contact number and its perfectly working. If you think that your writing a reply mail will do any wonder then im sorry it wont help. I need a resolution to my problem within 24hrs or i need my new UPC code to port again from your sickening service.

            Ive read 100's of similar problems of other customers on different blogs and forums and i totally agree that Airtel today is the worst service provider when it comes to customer care and technical support.

            So kindly dont waste your and my time in writing these stupid mails and get back to work.

            I hope this will trigger some spark for you to get in action.

              I am facing more problems due to signal problem (the signal is not getting continue).

              Another AIRTEL SIM using persons and all getting full signal .

              I already booked the compliant for Four times to Customer care (before 25 days), Still the problem is not solve.

                Fraudulent bills of Airtel:

                Dear Advocates,

                1. This is to inform you that this is one more method of Bharati Airtel’s scheme to threaten, coerce clients to pay up and add to their kitty of profits through fraudulent methods.

                2. I used to have 4 mobile phones of Airtel & 3 Landline connections for our office and home connections from the year 2005. It was noticed since 2010 onwards that Airtel would give escalated bills for all the connections.


                3. If a complaint were lodge bill amount would be reduced immediately. Upset with such dishonest services we had decided to disconnect 1 mobile phone connection and 1 landline connection. What was retained were only 2 landline connections one of them is[protected].

                4. Further we asked airtel to move to plan of Rs.499 Broadband from Rs.1299 for the no.[protected], in the month of oct 2010. This was done by phone as well as by mail. However it was noticed that inspite of taking the request it was not done within the prescribed time. In Feb 2011 the DSL connection was still at at Rs.1299/- once again we called the Customer Care we asked them to reverse the charges and also change the plan to Rs.499/- they gave ref nos etc.

                5. When we checked in Mar 2011 it was not done. The customer executive sent a mail stating that they were sorry & will reverse the charges for the last 3 months (Jan, dec, nov). But on 14th April they disconnected the Broadband connection. When enquired they said that our plans were still in 1299/- and we have to pay at Rs.1299/- for all the months, the amounts cannot be reversed.

                6. When a mail was sent to 121 enquiring why they have disconnected. They sent a mail saying on Feb month we had actually asked them to upgrade our plan to Rs.1299/- ??? I asked them how we can upgrade from Rs.1299/- to Rs.1299/- ? We can only upgrade to a larger plan or a lesser plan.

                7. So it is very clear that AIrtel wants to bill us for Rs.1299/- irrespective of whatever we do.
                8. Mails were exchanged ( have all the proofs of correspondence from airtel ) where they have reversed their own decisions. Have all the complaint numbers but action was not taken so far.

                9. Last week we had a lady call up saying she was from the reconnection department and would like to reconnect the phone. Why such calls are made from time to time we have no idea. However we are not interested in any phone connection with Airtel for the following reasons:

                a) Executives are not aware of the products and lie about the different products just to make the sale.
                b) There is no co-ordination between customer care, sales department, reconnection/ retention and technical departments.
                c) No co-ordination between collection agencies, which adopts any unscrupulous methods to collect the payment.
                d) The staff are untrained and inexperienced, no authority/ interests taken by the Managers to resolve issues. Through phones, through mails and through customer care kiosks, inspite of all these mentioned for lodging complaints and redresals
                e) The billing is always escalated compared to the services rendered.
                f) Requisition not honored.

                10. After we started using new connections by BSNL, Tata Docomo and Vodaphone our bills are 50% less compared to Airtel bills and services are also good.

                12.Mr. Rakesh Ranga has written to me from Customer Service team stating that they will resolve the issue. But nothing happened so far.
                13.The legal team is writing to me stating that you will share the information with other telecom operators and credit verification. Let me also tell you that we will go to consumer court and disclose the threats made by you through this legal notice. Be noted that all the emails, complaint numbers and mails sent by concerned departments are very much in my possession.
                14. In the number mentioned below of the lawyers the communication numbers are as follows [protected]/ [protected] both the numbers are incorrect.

                I had 4 mobile phones of Airtel & 3 Landline connections for our office and home connections. It was noticed that Airtel has been giving escalated bills all the time.

                If a complaint was lodge bill amount would be reduced immeditely. However we could not handle calling everytime hence we disconnected the mobile phone connections.

                Further we had asked airtel to move to Rs.499 plan of Broadband from Rs.1299 for the house no.[protected], in the month of oct 2010. This was done by phone as well as by mail. They have not done so and when we checked the bills in Feb we noticed that it was still at Rs.1299/- once again we called the Cutomer Care we asked them to reverse the charges and also chenge the plan to Rs.499/- they gave ref nos etc.

                When we checked in Mar 2011 it was not done. The customer executive sent a mail saying that they were sorry & will reverse the charges for the next 3 months. But on 14th they disconnected the Broadband conncetion. When enquired they said that our plan was still in 1299/-

                When a mail was sent to 121 enquirying why they have disconnected. They sent a mail saying on Feb month we had actually asked them to upgrade our plan to Rs.1299/- . I asked them how we can upgrade from Rs.1299/- to Rs.1299/- ? We can only upgrade to a larger plan or a lesser plan.

                They have not yet reverted back. So it is very clear that AIrtel wants us to bill us for Rs.1299/- irrespective of whatever you do. Is there anyone who can let us know on how to book these irresponsible Customer Care and other officials to book. I have all the proof of these mail exchanges plus ref numbers of all requests, compalint numbers made.

                  This mailer is to bring to the notice of the Entire Community and to the world that how can a company as big as Bharti Telecom (Airtel), owned by Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal, can hurt the sentiments of thousands and millions of Sikhs and other community, just to increase their revenue through value added services.

                  I received a message on 1st April,April Fool's Day, on Sardar's(Sikh Community) which very clearly hurts the sentiments and is a direct hit on the community. It was clearly making fun of community.

                  Entire message is as follows:

                  Sardar got into a bus on 1st April when the conductor asked for the ticket,he gave Rs 10 & took the ticket and said April Fool.I have a free pass.

                  I sincerely fail to understand when Airtel, being an Indian company cannot take care of the values and sentiments of an Indian community , how will it comply and safegaurd the interests of an African community where they are overtaking Zain Telecom.

                  Let's remember, Nelson Mandela fought his life against APARTHIED in South Africa, what assurance we have from Mr. Mittal of Airtel, who could hurt the sentiments of his compatriots, would not hurt African nationals.

                  My question is, If it has the audacity to hurt the sentiments of Sardar's, in a country where the Prime Minister of the country, Dr. Manmohan Singh, is a Sardar himself, what is the assurance that they would not hurt the feelings and sentiments of the people of all African nation who by virtue of Zain deal would be at recieving end.


                  I Believe, a Company such as Airtel which is one of the most respected Telecom Company & is also endorsed by various celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan,Kareena Kapoor ,A.R Rahman,Sachin Tendulkar,and many more... should at least have avoided sending such a sardonic message which ravages respect for a community, here Sikh Community.

                    Hi,

                    My name is Bahauddin Shaikh, i had called Airtel Customer Care at 02:31 am on 16th September 2011 for call charges inquiry. Mr. Sushil Nikam (Customer Care Associate) answered my call and greeted very well, i informed him that my call charges has changed to Re. 1/min from 1ps/sec. Mr. Nikam informed me that the validity for 1ps/sec calling is expired on my number and that pack is no more available with Airtel. He said he cannot help me in this but proactively he offered me another pack of 72ps/min which i didnt liked.

                    After this conversation i asked him the details of the number like on whose name is the card registered but Mr. Nikam asked me my name and i did as asked by him. He said the card is not registered by the name of Bahauddin Shaikh but its registered with some other name. I informed him that i have personally submitted my documents two times in airtel frechisees, once when i had taken the New Connection and other when it was mandatory to re-submit as per governments rule. Still Mr. Nikam said that i might have submitted the wrong number and he was getting hyper while talking to me, I informed him several times that the documents submitted were correct and there is some mistake from airtel and i asked him to transfer the call to his supervisor so that i can discuss the same with him. Instead of transferring the call he started arguing with me by saying that "MY SUPERVISORS WILL PROVIDE YOU THE SAME INFORMATION WHICH I DID AND AS OF NOW THERE ARE NO SUPERVISORS AVAILABLE ON THE FLOOR" i requested him many a times to transfer the call then he said if you dont listen to me then i will have to end your call, he told me this couple of time and disconnected my call.

                    I would desperately want your team to take some strict action against it as my data is been misplaced with them and who will be responsible for the misuse now.

                    I would be expecting a revert in next 48 hrs.

I am in touch with your people since May '11 for the disconnection and later on refund of my money. After so much of calls , discussion, your people has collected the equipments on 30th June. As per your system, the balance money has to be refunded within 7 days. Till date I haven't received the refund amount even after so much of calls and emails. I had paid more than the refund on my calls to you and ultimate time of emails. And believe me more than the money its frustration and my valued time which I need to spend with your inefficient system.

                          I have one complaint number dated 8th August[protected] with your senior department executive Mr. Joy, as per them the matter will be solved and refund has to be made before 9th evening. Please tell me the status of this complaint number.

                          Believe me this is another kind of corruption and you people try to frustrate the clients so that they will forgo their money and Mittals would be richer more than ever. This is not a single transaction, you might have thousands of such cases and with sums of such amount Mittals must be earning millions of rupees. But I am not that kind and I will try my ultimate level to get my refund even though I need to spend more amount to recover my hard earned money.

                            I had already paid my all postpaid bills and also lifetime recharge amount of Rs.43 for my prepaid connection to airtel office at above mentioned address and airtel executives told that my prepaid sim will be activated in 24 hours maximum but its now one week and my prepaid sim with number [protected] is still showing "Inactive Status" and due to that I am not able to receive or make calls and message.

                            FYI, I have also submitted my id proof and photograph at your airtel shop address: M22, GK2, M-block Market, New Delhi communication, pin:110048.

                            It's very annoying and I am missing some of my very urgent and important calls. I request you to get it activated as soon as possible because I am missing many important calls here in abraod.

                              I am a vodafone customer. Somebody is making phone calls to my vodafone cell number from the airtel number "[protected]" without any reason and asking about my whereabouts telling he is officially calling from the madurai vodafone office. When I asked who he was he simply cut the phone call and exchanged abusive messages in an unjust manner. I wish to take action against this criminal activity I request you to give me the address of the airtel number owner so that I could take further actions against this person.

                                Hi This is Suriya.S I have been using the airtel number for the past 3 months. Once I recharged with 121 which was Tamilnadu voucher. There after I was not able to recharge. Even after filing numerous complaints(In airtel service outlet,121) the problem is still not solved. Customer Care representatives say they dont know what is the problem. Is this how airtel representatives know about their services?

                                I said ok madam.and i cut the call.

                                can u inform me when the problem over.if its exist for more than a week.my complaint number is CANRC[protected],CANRC[protected].

                                If they said this at the first time i don't bother about this, and i do my work. otherwise i simply remove my airtel sim and do further action regards that.

                                  I really not understand the problem and where is the disconnect from airtel. After this below mail I did not got any response or revert from airtel. As I have spoken to airtel executive on this I was waitiing to get the left amount which I suppose to get. But surprisingly I did not recieved till 23 rd July11. However sincerely I have cleared the bill amount after deduction of 108.09/- Rs. from it and done a net transaction on 06th July`11from my axis bank account. Transaction number is [protected] and amount is 1756/- Rs. and it is successfully done.

                                  One more thing I want inform you that twice I have called up 121 and requested to revert about my enquiries. My enqurey was one morning I have recieved a sms from airtel about some request. When I asked the customer care executive he told that they recievd a request from my number in the morning, but there was no request made by me that particular day. Even I asked him what was the request made for , but he told its not clear. I told him to revert immediately with answer and about 108.09/- Rs refund from airtel.

                                  Till day I did not received any revert from airtel.

                                  Again I have recieved a bill from airtel including all amount . I called up airtel and updated the details to Nagalaxmi (customer care executive) again she has given me a complaint number for this 38665227.

                                  My question is how many times I have to do this practice ? Once I droped your office at begumpet to this number changed, after 40 mins waiting your executive was able to speak to me and informed that he have only one number with him which he can give me now. Then I dropped the idea to change the number.

                                  Kindly atleast this time I want a clarification ASAP.

                                  I have observed in every alternate month there is always some issues in billing e.g. extra billing, wrong address updation with contacting me etc.

                                  Pls realease my extra money which is with airtel as soon as possible. If airtel seems does not follow the rules then they do`nt have right to call customer for delayed payment/enquery which they always do and never go back foot to charge for late even if its one day delayed too.

                                  Most important point is that for their mistake they never ready to agree that its from their end. I really fade up with services from airtel each and every time I have faced, everytime I have to waste my time to calling them and giving details( each time I have to give the details to each executive and when they called too its same )where I have 0 fault from my end.

                                  Rrequest you to come up with a resolution which can help people instead harrassing for payment by your executives !! And also revert back the action you have taken who has done this ??

                                  Today I have recieved a cheque of 1113.26/- Rs. from airtel, PFB my previous mail to airtel about the extra amount which is with airtel. so I have got 108.09/- Rs less again. For disconnect of airtel why should i pay the extra amount or you have no right to claim extra for your faulty transaction made by your people.

                                  Secondly I have noticed airtel has charged me again late fees for last bill also. Where is question of late fees if extra amount is held by airtel from and I have clearly told to your person that whenever I will get my money back from from airtel that time only I will pay my next bill payments.

                                  Kindly clarify if any more disconnect I have to face from airtel or its really shame for a big corporate like airtel that everytime I am wasting lot of my working times to talking to airtel or mailing to airtel. Is there at least any chance that I can keep faith in your service delivery ? Can we stop somewhere with a resolution ? Or till using airtel it will be a on going process ? Is there any one in airtel to monitor the customers problem ? or only you have people to call customer to threatend to pay their bills ?

                                  So I airtell shall return 1221.35/- Rs. cash to me. Pls revert if you need more clarification on this.

                                  For your mistakes and misscommunication you are not authorized to claim me late fees ! Please go through my payment details in past to airtel and take out a clear picture. So that you can understand the problems I faced in past days .

                                  Pls do not waste my time by calling me in morning hours as worked till late night. You can call me after 1400 hrs.

                                  Hope this time atleast you will improve your communication between your team to avoid this type of fault and due which I faced to much of disturbance these days.

                                  time in one subject matter which is still not close yet. Only I got calls

                                  But to be very honest its a cheating to customer.

                                  Thank you for your turn around towards my complaint, surprisingly still I am getting lots of calls in office number for the due payment. Even today I got two calls from one person, he dont even curtesy to introduce his name ( [protected] ) and demanding the payment, when I told him not to disturb me befor resolving my issues which are mentioned in my mails to airtel. Then he was arguing with me.

                                  Second call was from one lady name I did not asked ( [protected]) and shamelessly she was also in a same attitude. I also asked her they are calling me from different numbers.

                                  My question is do you people called customers to threaten from different numbers ? Its really rediculous ! I guess i should have logged a FIR against airtel since they are harrassing me and threatening me for payment, where I have zero fault. Due to which I have suffered a lot...

                                  Pls remember if you people are calling me ( Monday to Thursday ), call me after 1400 hrs. I have mentioned this in my earlier mails too, hope this time you will note this.

                                  I know that airtel is not capable enough to handle complaints.
                                  Allready my complaints related to airtel is with cosumer complaints box. Today I got acll in my husbands mobile from a lady who not disclosing her name and asking for me. When took the call I got to know that she is from airtel, also was not disclosing herself. Then I told her see I am in hyderabad only and if they want to contact, they can contact me in my email which i have been sharing with them since long. Also I asked her why called me on my husbands number and before calling atleast they should resolved the issue which is still on. She abused me saying that " you should know whom you are talking to and you are begger, if you need to begg, you can come to me ". i got told her not to disturb me before resolving the issue. She also warned that "with whose permission you complained in consumer, we will see you".The number where she called was [protected].

                                  So kindly advise me whether I should go for a F/R in police station.

                                  Now I have a big doubt if consumer courts really resolving issues or not ? As still i did not getting any response for my previous cmplaints. So request you to look into this .

                                    My wife Mrs KAUSHALYA DHINGRA, Retired Senior citizen , visited AIRTEL Centre at SAHARAMALL, MG ROAD , GURGAON on 20/12/2010 & purchased talktime for RS.2200.00 on the express advise of AIRTEL salesman on the counter for spking to her daughter residing in USA with assurance that the entire amount can be used upto zero balance without any time limitations with USA CALL ID[protected] .It worked alright upto June 2011 & suddenly went out of service whereas there was approx. balance of Rs.900.00 or so. Cutomercare was contacted but without any answer except we will comeback ...nothing happened. Subsequently, Airtel NODAL OFFICERS namely Mr.Mithlesh & Ms.Roopli were contacted on Mobil no: [protected] on August 01, 03 & 08 0f 2011 & it wa assured & reassured that either we will allowed talktime for the balance amount Or will get the refund....but nothing happened.
                                    My wife feels cheated by none otherthan a reputed professional company AIRTEL as well as by their sales people & Nodal Officers. Nodal Officers are expected to do justice to their employer as well as trusted consumers...but the distressing fact is even Nodal Officer failed in his commitment & to. restore confidece of consumer. If this is the way airtel markets its products & keeps the consumers in dark ....this needs to be highlighted.
                                    To sum up Airtel is expected to take aall on this & decide to restore confidence .

                                      I, harsh golchha, residing in lajpat nagar having broadband connection and fixed line services of Airtel. On 30th August, 2011 a lodged the complaint for dsconnecting of the broadband and telecom services but till of writing this complaint[protected] services are not disconnected by the Airtel, when i called they just gave me a new complaint no. and assurance that i will get the call from Airtel and services will be disconnected. Mean time on 5/9/2011 my brother received a call form Mr. Pradeep form airtel saying that instrument will be repaired by the company and the engineer will come to my home nut no engineer has never come. I also wrote a mail to nodal officer of the Airtel but i dont think she has time to read the mail and take any necessary action on the same. If Airtel took right action on right time than my instruments can be repaired.

                                      Why Airtel is not responding on the complaint.

                                      This is AKHILESH KUMAR DIXIT, having mobile no -[protected].
                                      I am using Airtel for last 3 year, and I am very happy with your
                                      service but now your it is not so .

                                      Now what's the Matter that make me annoyed about your service?

                                      On 2nd December, 2007 my Mobile was lost.
                                      After that I informed custmer care to stop my services from some
                                      other number ( which I don't know)

                                      But your customer care didn't do that and reply me that they don't
                                      have any authority.Then I file complain with Police and approach
                                      Airtel showroom for new sim.
                                      Between this period the person who find the Mobile activated some VAS
                                      service on my number and make some calls also .
                                      For this I asked your CC to tell me those numbers when I get my
                                      duplicate sim or any other services by which my balanced was reduced.

                                      But your CC didn't tell me.
                                      After that I didn't take cognizance that my balance was deduted by Rs
                                      15 every month .I received some messages from 543212 that enjoy VAS
                                      pack in every five six days, for this I talk to your custmer care
                                      that why I am receiving these messages, he told me that some time our
                                      server send to our customers as default and you need not to vary for
                                      it No money will be deducted for this ( this talk is before I get to
                                      know that my balance was deducted every month)

                                      After this I talk to your CC on 2nd May(i think) he transferred my
                                      call to his senior, Senior assurred me that your service will be
                                      deactivated by 6th May afternoon. I said ok .
                                      But still after this I am receiveng message from the same number to
                                      enjoy your VAS pack. Again I talk to customer Care, he told me that
                                      your service is deactivated know.
                                      After it I get relaxed and didn't talk further on this matter.

                                      But again today my balanced is deducted for the services, which was
                                      told to me that it is deactivated by your customer care.

                                      This is totally a deficeincy in service u/s 2 of Consumer Protection Act.

                                      Now I want my money back for seven months i.e 15*7=105, which you deducted.
                                      Because I took all precautionary measures, but it is your collegues
                                      who didn't provide me full information.

                                      Reply to this complain.

                                      I think my letter is self explanatory, here goes a copy of the letter
                                      Dear Sir/Madam,
                                      We are Loyal Airtel customers and have had no other cellular service provider but Airtel
                                      Oflate, I’m sad to say that it may not be the case.
                                      I had bought a new Airtel Simcard on 10th october and was promised immediate activation .I had also submitted all the required documents and photo.I further paid Rs333/- for talk time currency .The activation hasn’t happened till now and hence I request you to kindly refund my money to the below address.I am mailing this as I have not received a favorable response from my local(Malleshwaram 13crs sampige road, Bangalore)office.The service at that centre is pathetic, even after continous follow up and waiting for hours together at the showroom availability of knowledgeable personnal is scarce.
                                      I had bought this new sim card because my previous sim was deactivated even upon my request to keep it active and was valid till November 16th this year.I had particularly requested for the number since it is the one printed on the visiting cards and advertisement material.
                                      The company representative had asked me to pay for 1 year validity and had said the number will be active since the validity would continue through
                                      November 16th 08 and even so till 90 days after the expiration of the validity.
                                      After some 3 weeks of running around for my previous number I had had enough and bought a new simcard paying Rs 100! And the manager promising a free 2 year validity .Its bad that Airtel sold my previous number even when I was promised it would’nt happen and then I’m asked to buy another one! I further bought additional currency of Rs333/- believing the manager of the shoowroom!. Continued personal visits and telephone requests havent yielded any results.
                                      I’m not sure where to take this matter but the consumer court and I have since written a complaint and obtained a acknowledge for the same since I was told that airtel didn’t provide anything in writing and I had believed everything I was told everytime!.There was also a excessive charge complaint on my previous phonenumber([protected]) I was told that the charges were for activating International calling facilities which were standard and I had to cancel them calling a 3 digit number.Even after doing so I could still make international calls and then I recently learnt from the Airtel manager that there were no such charges levied by Airtel to its prepaid customers and that I was given a madeup answer!I don’t know why I was given this wrong information ! and the complaint itself is almost a year old without any response from your end.
                                      I think this is more than sufficient proof of customer neglect and defiecient service on part of Airtel and hence I am asking for a refund of the charges for the 1 year validity, New sim card purchase and currency of Rs333/- which will add to RS 1433/-.
                                      I hope the matter will be resolved with some priority as its already been a long wait for me

                                      Hi

                                      I have taken Airtel Corporate connection through HCL technologies .
                                      I asked then to change billing addresses to Home address instead of office office.I have submitted all required documents and all and even address verification has been done .I am also using its Broadband connection also.from last two monthsi am not able to make outgoing call despite of serveral reminder to Airtel office wasting time to talk to Customer Care because some times they are disconnecting the phone.I am really in mental tention as my number [protected] has been distributed among lots of people.so many times i been to Airtel office but always they are pretending and throwing ball to other's.
                                      I want to go in court.

                                      AirTel — Deficiency of service

                                      I have lodge complain with my mobile No. [protected] with service provider Airtel regarding weak network at my residence. My First complain was lodged on 23/01/2010 and time and till now. They have been making promise that they are working on it as there are many complain of same nature from my area but till date nothing has been done. I feel this is a case of Deficiency of Service.
                                      On[protected], i received sms, offering television channels on my mobile phone using airtel connection and accepting the terms and conditions in the above messages i tried subscribe 'all channels/7 days for Rs.40/-' but received directions asking me to try again to subscribe the above service. thereafter on[protected] again i received messages deducting Rs 40/- from my account for using and choosing the above service but no service is provided by airtel despite lodging of repeated complaints so far.

                                      Me and my family are Airtel users since the last few years. we have had several complaints abt the deficiency in service provided by airtel but none of the complaints are ever entertained.
                                      I recently (26- 30 oct 2011) sent a few mms from my air tel number. i got a false delivery and msg retrieved report and my balance was also deducted, but the mms were never delivered to the recipient. The customer care executives are pathetic.They don't even understand the nature of complaint and give false assurance. In one single day i called up the customer care as well as technical help center several times but was only given false assurances.
                                      Airtel is looting people by starting VAS and deducting money for the same. the balance is never returned n it's a headache to keep calling customer care for stopping every damn service that i never asked for in the first place.
                                      I request other harried airtel users to join me in taking airtel to consumer court.

                                        I have used a airtel friends sim last 4 years, which it was always charged with 10 paisa/min.

                                        But now from last two week, i am charged with some what like variable call rate. Always charge differently. I have talked to customer care about the matter, then told me that the company has changed the friends plan without noticing the concerned customer. They said your first call charge you 1 Rs/min then 10paisa/min. My SMS charges also changed , SMS 25 paisa to 1 ruppees. I request you to provide the plan specifications details if any one of you have and also the Airtel customer care also.
