Airtel - Live services — Amount deducted-Download interuppted

Dear Sir,

On 28.09.08 at 1 AM, i downloaded a application called COLOR SMS through Airtel live.

While the downloading was at 35 %, an SMS came from Airtel mentioning Rs 50 has been deducted for the download.

Atonce the SMS was received, then the downloading got interuppted.

My phone memory was at 3 MB.And the application size is 150 KB.

While telling this to 198 service, the officer told phone memory should have been low for the download.But the memory is enough to hold 3MB of data.( I copied my memory card application to the phone and checked the 3MB of capacity ).

My mobile ( Nokia 3500 C ) is fully compatible with the apliocation ( Which has been confirmed from the application provider itself ).

After that i could not contact the 198 officer or i could not open the mobile application page.

Kindly do the needfull

Last week I charged my mobile no.[protected] by paying Rs.666/- full talk time. After two hours, I received so may messages in my mobile. When I was checking the message after enter inbox, I was surprised to note that your airtel has deducted Rs.99/- from my prepaid amount. I have never approached to your airtel for any type of messages, downloading etc. Thus your company have cheated me by deducting Rs.99/- from my prepaid amount. I request you to please refund my amount immediately and transfer to same in my mobile account against no.[protected]. Treat the matter is serious and most urgent.

Please note that in future also no outside call of any sale/marketing agency should come in my mobile.

Your immediate response in this regard will be highly appreciated.

It was my worst experiance, in the begining only AIRTEL people proudly deducted the whole balance and put zero to blink...why I choose AIRTEL?...and when I called Airtel customer care...they shamelessly agreed that it happens regularily and WE CANT HELP! with that...about refund...forget it...THIS IS HOW IT HAPPENS..LAW MAY HELP YOU...but money...you cant put huge money in litigations for tiny amount...IT need crazy fellow to fight till supreme court order the ministry to make some regulations with...loop holes...This is the corporate style of looting...If all the mobile customer (around 100 crore) loose Rs 100/- once in life time count how much money goes to the companies...for them one good sher I can tell...BANE JO EK BADSHAH SO FAKIR HO GAYE...or ye fakiron ki katar..lambi hai...

Airtel Prepaid — Deducting Amount for No service

I am using airtel prepaid service from past five years, i dont have any ISD calls/messages. Without my knowledgeable they are deducting 5 rupees for ISD sms which i never sent from my mobile and its happening frequently .customer care executives not ready to reimburse the amount or register the complaint, i want your serious attention towards this
I am using airtel prepaid service from past five months, i dont have any tadkalive service active on my airtel prepaed connection.( about this i have talked with customer care executive ) They are deducting my 10 to 20 rupees per month. I call customer care executive 4 to 5 times but till date i have not cr. this balance ( 40 Rs.)

hii i m in abudabi nw , my indian sim card airtel i m using here i recive the msg and i m doing the trasaction every moth , but the airtel charged in my account daily 5 rs for game club ,, i m anot using the game club in my hand set in 1110 i m not activated the game clumb it will activate airtel and they will charge amount i m in abudabi hw to i contact in customer care or hw to unsubscribe this option any one can help me my indian no is [protected] any one pls help me

    Dear Sir,

    My name is Ajay Bhuta, I stay at 1, Vijay Park, Janki Kutir, Juhu Road, Juhu, Mumbai 400 049. I have subscribed to Airtel mobile phone services, my mobile no is [protected], I am using this service from last more then 4 years. On 29th January 2010 suddenly there was no network in my mobile phone at my residence in Juhu. I registered a complaint with Airtel toll free no. 121 on 29th itself, my complaint no is 30691930. Though I insisted on getting the time frame in resolving my complaint, the customer service executive never game me. After that I have made numerous calls on finding the status of my complaint but till date the network problem persists. It has been more then 2 months now and Airtel has not resolved my problem.

    Earlier in all these 4 years I have never faced network problem at my Juhu residence but from 29th January 2010 the problem persists.

    I request you to guide me in how do I drag Airtel Company to Consumer court and get appropriate compensation.

    Airtel Mobile — Overcharging

    Hi, its become so repetitive of dis company to overcharge their clients on billing connection of mobile. didnt really expect company of such a stature to stoop 2 such a level. i have made numerous complaint to them but all efforts in vein though i have proof to justify my stand since i have itemised bill with me wherein its clearly mentioned that i was charged 50ps for airtel2airtel n im suppose 2 b charged at 15ps. and the worst part is all their representatives r useless buggers give false commitments n everybody have sumthing different 2 say i have even recorded all my conversation with them.. seriously airtel is givin me such a hardtime n i regret to b associated with dis company but cant change numbr coz of business network. i just wonder that they cant resolve such petty grievances god knows till when v customer hv to bear the brunt of their technical loopholes.

    Airtel Mobile Phone — Overcharging Airtel -Subscription to hellotune without request

    Time and again i am being charged for hellotunes and deduction messages sent to me. When asked to stop repeated reply by SMS is that, "you are not subscribed to this service etc. etc."
    Airtel is a employing resorting to stealing money from prepaid a/c every now & then.
    Anybody please advise how & what legal action can be taken against such unscruppulous service provider. Let us get mobilised & teach these offenders a lesson.

    Or will management pay any heed?

    Airtel Mobile Phone — charges without authorization and advertiments

    my cell no is [protected]. i got messages from airtel that they have deducted Rs 10 for using internet facility for next one week. how can i be charged this in advance without ascertaining first whether i would like to use this facility for next one week or not!
    secondly when i dial a number from my phone, i am subjected listening to an advertisement by the company about its product or service. this is irritating paticularly if i am short of time.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I am having complaint with Airtel prepaid services.

      Following are the complaints I am having:

      1. Got message from Airtel for news service pack(VAS), that if I wouldn't unsubscribe within 3 days, the

      service will automatically activated and some money will deducted for the activation of the package

      (what if people couldn't read the message within time).

      2. Got message from Airtel " Desh Videsh ki jankari paiye BBCNews updates din ke 4 bar. Dial *0* bilkul

      muft". I dialed the no. which was a voice message which clearly instructed that if I have to activate it I have

      to press 1 else 2.

      I just disconnected the phone and that service got activated and Rs. 10 deducted from my balance.

      I talked to customer executive and he said " After dialing *0*, the service gets active".


      The services are pathetic and even they are charging for talking with customer executive also.

      AirTel — Regarding the BBC news service

      on 08/02/2010 i received a message from AirtelBlog regarding the BBCNews .In the message it is clearly mentioned that this service is free of cost.But when i dialled *0* Rs.10 got deducted, And this will continue for the coming months.
      When i tried to contact the coustmer care it was not responding.

      This is simply rediculos.
      Please take the appopriate action.
      Even I too got a message stating that Rs. 5 has been deducted from my account as I have subscribed to some gaming portal and a number to which i have to send the SMS to unsubscribe. When I sent the SMS, it said I'm currently not subscribed to any services. But 5 Rs. was deducted.

      When I called customer care, the guys just kept parroting the same thing. When i stated my plight and asked if i can speak to a person who understands better, he became rude. I was given no valid explanation as of how i got subscribed to that gaming thing.

        I moved from Saket to Lajpat nagar 4 in january 10 and ever since i have applied for airtel 4 times and have given documents and photograph and cheque ,but thrice it has happened that Airtel guys come back with a phone call saying that the network is over chocked and there is no availability .

        Also they don’t return your cheque, photographs or documents all 4 times.

        Now its been a real harassment from last month when a new airtel associate came and took cash not cheque and all the relevant docs and have been given. And that agent is giving excuses till date ,that it will be installed today ,then tomorrow then got knows what date.

        i fail to understand that Airtel cant install a extra DP which provides uplink for IP based TV in the past 3 months.

        i am hunting Airtel every day and night asking when to get the connection but fail to have any cooperation what so ever.

        IF there is no availability in the are then why these agents just just to ur house to collect the docs and cheque,just to make a sale (initially they shud check and then take the docs and other formalities).

        this third part sale and DSA have Airtel worst and bought big shame to india biggest service provider.


        ITS BEEN MORE THAN 3 MONTHS AND I HAVE STILL GOT NO AIRTEL CONNECTION AND THAT AIRTEL REP FAILS TO PREOVIDE ANY HELP.

        is there a way we can lodge a legal complain against airtel for causing such a mental trauma and harassment.

          I have sent a written request for Termination of service to the Mobile No.[protected] bought by me at your Airtel Gallery Cellular Solutions at Heera Plaza, Central Avenue, Nagpur on 18/3/2010. I was advised to give the said request on Mobile No.121. I have made a request for Termination of service to the Mobile No.[protected] bought by me, by calling on your customer care No.121 and I was assured that the said service would be terminated and the deposit would be returned after adjustment of the last bill amount. I have received a call from [protected] about a week ago and I was informed by the caller that the service to the number has not been terminated and he asked me to contact one of the Airtel Gallery and submit a written request. I am unaware why the Airtel company whose services are going from bad to worse is dodging its customers and trying to extract money by such unscrupulous means.

          AirTel — Termination of Services

          No resolution has been sought despite of me complaining on 121. As per the instructions given by the voice message i had submitted my id and address proof details along with a fresh filled form to that same shop from where i took the connection. For my id proof i have submitted my pan card photocopy which includes my photograph and for address proof submitted a photocopy of a press card that i own. But no action has been taken yet. The day they had terminated all my services i had a talktime of Rs. 300. This is really very irritating and bothersome that after complete three months of smooth functioning now they have an issue over the id and address proof. Being a harrassed customer i would advice people not to take airtel connection due to inefficacy in providing their timely services and would be more than happy if i could convince a 100 people not to take airtel connection.

            On My Prepaid Airtel Mobile No.[protected] I am Receiving unwanted promotional Sms(Bolly, Filmy Buzz, Bikini Babes) without subscription and unauthorised deductions are being made at your end towards said unsubscribed promotional sites inspite of repeated requests to stop the said unsubscribed services. I have called up 999 on numerous occassions and also visited your local Airtel Galleries and required stoppage of this practice but to no avail. If this is not stopped and my amounts deducted are not recredited to me within 7 days, I will be constrained to take recourse to legal action under Consumer Protection Act and Unfair trade Practices LAws against your company. Please note accordingly and comply under advice to me.

            Airtel — Airtel prepaid mobile disconnection without recourse

            Dear Sir,

            I have subscribed to Airtel Prepaid Mobile service and my mobile prepaid number was disconnected 3 times after the activation date (06 June 2009) informing me that they have not received the forms submitted to the Airtel outlet. The Airtel outlet has confirmed that the forms have been received by the Airtel division and still they are continuing to disconnect my line due to failure on their part. I have lost a lot of business calls on this number which is valueable to my business, Airtel takes no action or responsibility to restore the connection or even compensate for the loss. The last they disconnected without notice was on 27th July 2009 and till date (29th July 2009 ) the service has not been restored. This is happening regularly and neither the Airtel persons at the Outlet are able to answer this nor the Airtel Customer Care. I have lost all contact numbers and also the money that was paid on the SIM card besides the calls incoming for business.

            I request the Indian Consumer Forum to take up this matter immediately. I am a life member of the Tamilnadu Consumer Protection Organization. I would like to sue Airtel for the inconvinience and discomfort caused to a Customer on regular basis.

            Please reply to me the next course of action.

            i have a prepaid mobile no. [protected]. One day my daughter carrying mobile found that there was no available balance left and she was not in a position to talk at home, when in need. However as per our knowledge sufficient amount was available.

            We contacted Airtel customercare-121. We were informed that Metrimonial service has been activated on the mobile on 15.03.2010. It was also confirmed that service has been activated without our request and was deactivated that day when the matter was taken up. It was promissed that amount debited will be refunded by 05.04.2010. The activation of service was not in our knowledge and was never used by us.

            Again when matter related to refund was taken up with customer care executive, he refused to refund the amount so deducted.

            Such a debit of account balance by unilaterally activating value added servise is a breach of trust conferred upon service provider. My daughter has to suffer a lot of problem on that day due to deactivation of the service.

            Can Airtel has a curtsey to refund the amount wrongly debited and pay a compensation for the agony faced by my daughter.

            It is true .
            They charge so many un wanted options. On my phone [protected], when my son contacted customer care for enquirying life time extension, they charged 35 for caller tunes and some 10 for BOLLY which he has not opted.

            I AM HAVING 3 AIRTEL CONNECTIONS UNDER PREPAID SCHEME.             Airtel Mobile — My numbers disconnected without confirming from me

            I was using [protected] for which SIM got damaged so i requested new number [protected].But next day i recieved call from customer care(prabhjot) saying that retain your old number as you are platinum cutomer.I agreed to him understanding his concern but being a consumer I was fooled.The number([protected] in place of [protected]) never got activated inspite of my numerous follow ups with Customer .Yesterday after 4 days of recieving the SIM card([protected]) which was not working,i recieved a call again fromPrabhjot that ur number will be activated today.But today scenerio is number is activated against different SIM no. & my new number [protected] has also been suspended.N I am with no number today.Is this a way your customers should be treated.Please address on priority.My temporary number is [protected] & [protected]@yahoo.com.
            I am not at all satisfied with post paid service for my Airtel Mob No.[protected]. because when i was used the same Airtel No as Pre paid (Mob No [protected]) there was no problem. I have submitted all the required document and i got the pre paid connection then i plan to change my prepaid connection to post paid with same no ([protected] ) At the same time i have submitted all documents, Photos, Address Proof etc.. to change from pre paid to post paid, later address verification also done and they have changed from prepaid to post paid on 12.02.2011 and i got the intimation letter also to my home address.

            Now my mob connection got de activated ( Invalid SIM ) is showing and not able to receive & make a call.

            I checked with Customer care i.e... three different customer from Airtel over phone asking three different documents what is the point here for so many formalities again ( documents, address verification etc.. is over) I was a pre paid customer earlier and now neither prepaid nor post paid. both are de activated.

              i recharged my phone with Airtel's 63/- SMS pack (which provides for 500 sms per day for 30 days), after 2-3 days of recharge when i was sending sms, then amount was deducting from my main balance (1/- per sms) so this way my 19/- were deducted, i called customer care near about 7 times and they filed complaint twice, sometimes they used to say that i'll get my balance refund and sometimes they say they'll not refund the balance even my 3 days have lost due to this problem, and customer care is useless they just don't take interest in this, matter is not only about 19/- , its about the extremely poor services of them. i want to take some strict action against them.

                purchase of LG LCD 32" TV.

                I have been trying to contact you for activation, but there is no proper response from your end, You have been asking me to contact the dealer my area which is Mira Road, but there is no proper address on your website nor your customer service people are able to give me proper address.

                I have been calling here and there for past 2 days but no response, even after asking your customer service executive to transfer the call to his senior, he refused to do so.

                I need a correct answer for the same within 24 hours or this same mail will be sent to consumer court. I hope you know the consequences for the same.

                  As mentioned above Mmy name is Sagar D Ghantode. I was using SIM Card of Airtel Services since 3 yrs. Unfortunately i've lost my cell phone along with SIM Card. After visiting Airtel Gallery i came 2 know tht the number i was using is registered on another name. So tht i culdn't get my old number back.                   AirTel — Wrong Name in the mobile no.

                  Dear Consumer Forum,

                  I have taken a airtel no [protected] in the month on June 09 When i received the bill, it was billed on the name of my company SBI life insurance co ltd. I requested the airtel company many times, by visiting their distributor as well as sending them emails, but still they have not corrected the name. I am afraid that they have changed the application form and my signatures too. Also today i again received bill for the current month also in the name of my company.

                  I have been requesting them to provide me the copy of application form, which they denied.

                  Kindly support in the matter.

                    Airtel Broadband — unnecessary calls

                    Dear sir
                    I am user of air tel land line (No. [protected]) and broadband services. Every time I pay my land line bill before the due date. Last month i.e. on December 15, 2011 I paid the bill amount Rs. 800/-(though the bill amount was Rs. 794/-) by cash at ARC Address C-7 Fateh Nagar, New Delhi, their ARC Code is FS829. My cash payment receipt number is 0131vide transaction id no.[protected]. Still I am receiving calls from air tel people stating that my bill amount is due. I have provided them all the above mentioned details. My next bill for Rs. 709/- is due on 13/1/2012. I fail to understand why such a reputed concern is unnecessary harassing its valued customers, with unnecessary calls. Why can't they update their data at there end?
                    I'll be grateful if you take an appropriate action towards my complaint and update me at [protected]@yahoo.co.in.

                      I called up Airtel Customer Care today to complain about my network problems which I have been facing in my residence area for the past month. But, while I was being connected to customer care executive, the automated message told me that this call is being charged at 50 paise for every 3 minutes.

                      I want to ask that why is Customer Care being charged? Is Airtel trying to recover the cost from all the "Free Night Calling", "Free GPRS", "Free SMS" etc by charging calls to customer care number 121 which is supposed to be free in the first place??

                      I am shyam Gadre using mobile no [protected] since last year, but from august i am not getting proper service as I complained about black berry services and gprs. As per my bill your company charging me Rs 249/- black berry and Rs 349/- charges from august, september, oct .

                      Airtel Mobile — Unnecessary charges

                      I'm using Airtel connection ([protected]). And after every 15-20 days there are problems from their side.
                      Yesterday afternoon, i got the message that airtel talkies service has been renewed on my no. for ten days. and the fact is that i had never heard about such service and never applied for that. But when i talk to the excutive named "Sunny" ( on 14 oct. 2011 @ 10.16 am), he said i had put the request by net, when i told him i had never sent any request like this, his is not accepting it. now they in total deducted 30+10=40 rs from account without any reason........................... and also when i told him to forward my complaint on this context, he said your complaint has been forwarded and as soon as you will dissconnect the call, you'll get the complaint no., inspite of the fact i told him to tell me the complaint no. during the conversation.....although on my request he immediately dissconected the above said services from my no. but i had to bear unneccesarily the loss of Rs. 40/-...
                      I am a recent user of Airtel Mobile No: [protected]. I am pained to state that an amount of Rs: 67/- was deducted from my pre-paid account on 17 Apr '12 for 'SMS packRs67', but the facility has till date NOT been provided and any sms sent is still charged. I spoke to the Airtel Customer Service Executives from an Airtel Store a number of times - it is IMPOSSIBLE to connect to ANY Customer service Executive on one's mobile - all you get to hear is a sickening recorded message and no 'connect' with/to a Cust care Exec EVER takes place - this speaks volumes of the reliability and efficiency of AIRTEL.

                      Four Service Requests Nos. provided to me, by AIRTEL, are as under:

                      1. CWRCH[protected], dated 17 Apr '12.
                      2. CLSMS[protected], dated 21 Apr '12.
                      3. CVMWC[protected], dated 24 Apr '12.
                      4. CBNRA[protected], dated 24 Apr '12.

                      I am DISGUSTED. No Cust Care Exec is ever available. I am honestly and seriously looking at shifting from Airtel to another 'better' service - in case no action is taken within 24 hrs. Mobile Number Portability is available and there are umpteen service providers who will only be too willing to help.

                      It is not the question of a measly amount of Rs:67/-, but a total lack of sensitivity to a customer's feelings, which is not only hurting, but also confirms the fact that Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittals' 'supposedly efficient organization' is not all that 'efficient'.

                      In total disgust. . .

                        I would like to file a complaint against Bharti Airtel Ltd. for
                        'financial harassment and mental torture' for the following matter.

                        Case: sir i pay my monthly mobile bill by check.whenever i get d bill i pay it by the check.sir 2 - 3 times d bill was not delivered on due date because of that i issued d check after the due date. the very next month they imposed the delay charges along with the bill. at that time i paid the bill excluding the late fee and requested the wave off the late fee because it is there duty to deliver the bill on due date . but this did not happen and they continued the late fee for every month and every time i paid the bill excluding the late fee .
                        now every month they are imposing the late fee on the previous unpaid late fees and this amount has now reached to more than one thousand. every time i request them n they say sir we will look in to the matter but again nothing happens.

                        Instead of waving off the late fee, they called me exactly 10 times on mobile no. [protected] while making various threats. I confirmed it 10 times that I would not pay this amount or else u disconnect the connection, yet they send me the Bill with new late fee charges against the previous unpaid late fee.

                        I wrote an email and they did not respond to my email.

                        Please file a complaint against Airtel Bharti Ltd. (west U.P.) and send
                        me the form for dragging them to Honourable Consumer Court.

                        unnecessary charges — waving off the charges

                        Holding card No.[protected].which is showing Rs. 1271/- as out standing.As I was disturbed by the executive for some attractive offer which I was not willing to avail but he insisted me to see atleast once and may refused to accept if not satisfied. I have not yet recieved any document so far of that offer,neither I have done any transaction thereafter.But I was asked to pay some amount like Rs. 200/- in 2008 which has grown up to Rs. 1271/- till date. This is causing unnecessary harassment to me and to my profile on CIBIL(credit Information Bureau India Ltd).AS I have to apply for a loan,and this is causing unnecessary harrassment to me,I wish to request that these charges should be waived off immediately from my account as I have not availed any such transaction.                           My complaint is with Bhari Airtel. I'm using facility of mobile service of Airtel amd my Mob No. is [protected]. I have complaint with Airtel about cutting of sms charging from my main balance. It is pertinent to mentioned that I had recharge sms pack of Rs 50/- (300 sms per day for 30days) on 25/3/10 at 7:30PM and since than I have facing problem ...that means its deactivated many time and deduced sms charges from my main account. I had lodged complaint to Airtel many time on customer care No. and through E-mail but Airtel fail to solve this problem. Moreover Airtel is charging on complaint at their 121 customer care service its 50p/3min which is injustice and not in order.
                          I want to solve Airtel my problem by attending seriously on my complaint and if Airtel fail to solve this problem they must refund my recharge money of sms pack along with whatever I have been dedeucted money from my main balance during deactivation period and charge taken from me by customer care service.

                          Airtel Mobile Service — reducing balance without using facility

                          whenever i recharged with voucher of Rs.205 after using Rs.100 by me everytime airtel mobile service start sum service by them self which is not request from my side & they also charge for that service.

                          Many time i reply to customer service regarding that but they are not giving proper reply . Even i activated Do Not Disturb (DND) service but still having same problem so kindly note my complain

                              Yesterday (30 March 2010) My wife got missed call from [protected] on her airtel prepaid mobile connection. When my wife called back on this number the person named as Sunder replied that he is calling from Airtel, Head office Mumbai and told that you have won a lottery of Rs 10 Lakhs for that he needs identity proofs and tried to ask person details. My wife asked this person to contact me but this person said that ask your husband to call on this number.
                              My wife informed me in office and I called back this person. He said that your wife has won a prize of 10 lakhs and you have to pay processing fee of Rs 11000 thousand. When I asked him that I will varify about the lottery on airtel customercare then this person started saying that dont contact airtel otherwise someone will miss guide you and will take advantage of prize money. Then I got doubt and disconnected the call saying that I will varify with airtel then will callback.
                              And then I searched on internet and found lots of complaint on same fraud calls.

                              Here I want to ask airtel that if lots of people are complaining about these calles and giving these contact numbers, why airtel in not taking necessary action ??

                              Today Airtel sent me an SMS saying that "You have made a call to ISD CODE 0092 code. We urge you to excercise caution while calling unknown numbers and sharing personal details as it can be misused".

                              What is the significance of this SMS when call has been made ?
                              If you already know about these fraud calls why dont you circulate one SMS to all your users ??

                              Request you to please do needful.

                              3 weeks i received a call from Sheena from Airtel, [protected] . she said there was a scheam wherein rental was 0 and 300 sms and 300 mins talktime was free. i gave two numbers and she charged me 1200 which was refundable, however till today my plan has not been changed. i called on same number everyday they say sheena is not on desk, This is a Complete Fraud case, kindly look into this matter .

                              Airtel — Fraud calls asking for Processing Fees

                              Dear Sir,

                              I recently received a miss call from unknown number: [protected] on my cell (Airtel number). However, I'm unaware of this number to which city it belongs to so i called back on this number. And when i got a response the person told me that he is from customer service department from Airtel and congratulate me by telling me that i've been selected for lucky draw coupon of Rs 5 Lacks which will be transfered to my account soon when i will pay them some processing fees of around: Rs.16000. However, i asked them how can i believe on this. They then told me my SIM number that has been printed on my SIM card and also they provided me then another number and told me that your cheque has been transferred to Punjab Bank in Chandigarh and provided me Manager's number of that bank to call and contact him for further any verification. The number provided to me regarding Bank Manager was: [protected]. but i didn't call on that number as it seems to be ISD calling number.
                              I request you to kindly do the needful against this fraud number case. As how they came to know my SIM number which i'm using. After checking this number i came to know that this number belongs to Pakistan country.

                              i got a call from [protected] which is a pakistani number according to the zip code...The person said tht i have won 15 lakhs and 50 thousnad rupees and that i need to collect it from some SBI bank.He confirmed my sim number....then he asked me 7,500 rupees to collect the winning money.....i have exactly the same question that how can they have my sim number....there must me some fraud in Airtel....my email-id is [protected]@yahoo.com....plz contact me there and i will forward my details through that id only.

                                  i am not able to browse through my mobile
                                  just activated Airtel's Mobile Office. Its working in my mobile but not working on my laptop. What could it be?
                                  i am using airtel mobile office service since 3 month. the speed of connection is very very slow . it takes too much time. airtel company wates the time of their custumers and money.
                                  i've been with Airtel for the last 2 years or so. I use their mobile office service (498/month) to connect to the internet from my computer. However, i face connectivity issues almost every month and they call it "System Upgradation", hell with so much o[censored]pgradation in the block (if only it were true) we might as well get to use 3G by now, guess they term "repairing the crappy network" as "upgradation", maybe these guys need a dictionary. I'm facing connectivity issues again from the 28th of this month. Tried calling up 121, it says "connection error". tried *121#, says "you're not a pre-paid customer." Tried again the next day, and got thru to a rep. After hearing my explanation of the issue, he suggested i might have messed up with my phone and i'd have to format it. Going with him, i formatted the phone and lost every bit of personalization. However, the problem persisted.                                   Called up the GPRS help desk at 12150 after hearing this, the GPRS help desk rep informed that it wouldn't be taking more than 48 hours to fix this. To re-confirm, i called up customer care at 121 again, and this person again told me it would be fixed on the 2nd at 10:31am... Don't you keep a log or something so that all your reps lie the same way???? it's 30th today, 48 hours up, GPRS is still "going thru upgradation".. Crappy idiotic thieves. Good that TRAI is allowing CDMA providers to use the GSM spectrum, even tata indicom is better than this. YOU GUYS AT AIRTEL, ALL OF YOU REALLY REALLY SUCK BIG TIME, live with that.Need my number? it's [protected]. Mess with it as much as you want to, see you at the consumer's forum. BEST OF LUCK.
                                  i've been with Airtel for the last 2 years or so. I use their mobile office service (498/month) to connect to the internet from my computer. However, i face connectivity issues almost every month and they call it "System Upgradation", hell with so much o[censored]pgradation in the block (if only it were true) we might as well get to use 3G by now, guess they term "repairing the crappy network" as "upgradation", maybe these guys need a dictionary. I'm facing connectivity issues again from the 28th of this month. Tried calling up 121, it says "connection error". tried *121#, says "you're not a pre-paid customer." Tried again the next day, and got thru to a rep. After hearing my explanation of the issue, he suggested i might have messed up with my phone and i'd have to format it. Going with him, i formatted the phone and lost every bit of personalization. However, the problem persisted.                                   I called yesterday (may be 16 Oct) one of the advisor in Customer Service Department said I cannot have that plan as it has
                                  been withdrawn and you do not any option for unlimited downloads for
                                  co-operate customers. This is totally a bull . I had broadband with
                                  sify and i have stopped it as I do not want to pay more. I would request
                                  you to provide me your old plan i.e. "Mobile gprs" on my account. I just
                                  want to pay 249 or 250 rs for unlimited usage.

                                  I got confirmation e-mail that service has been activated for 249 rs. and guess what it was not unlimited service. I will get some free usage after that i need to pay what ever will be my extra usage which I never requested. The e-mail which was sent to me that was a standard response sent by some machine. No human being is dealing with customer complaint.

                                  They have activated the service which I have never requested and not providing me a correct resolution.

                                  Now your Mca is changed to Mca+ and Charged 15 ruppes and its automatically upgraded, am the chooser to chooce my choice, if you upgrading some thing new, why you guys taking out the old version, cos your old customer like me were used to the old version and they might not likely to your new option likr Mca+, Zero Rental Gprs, and even the messaging system were really poor, what ever i message to 56789, ill get a reply, sorry this provision is not in use, try after some time. even if i call to customer care they even saying the same thing, " Now we are upgrading so please call me after 48 hours so we can reactify it" if i call after 2 days even they cant able to give any kind of solution,

                                  I have made a request for mobile office activation on 9 june at 11pm the service not been activated till 2pm. so I called customer care. the person told u can use without getting the confirmation. when I used they charged me, though the service is fee. again I called to customer care this time they said sorry this will activated in morning. ln morning at 6am the service was activated . but this service is valid for 24 hours but they deactivated at 11pm . ridiculous service is what they did is they have barred my call to customer care. still even today I am enable to call customer care. hope this complaint will reach to Sunil Mittal.
                                  Vary Bad GPRS Sarvice
                                  On 27/08/2009 I recharged my account for Rs 498 at Airtel relationship centre in Burdwan for the unlimited mobile office plan. My phone number is [protected]. Later I came to know that the service will be activated within 48 hrs. Unfortunately it did not happen so. On 2/09/09, five days after my recharging I had to call the customer care to remind them about activating th service and they did so. This was an evidence of their apparent callousness. However larger part of the dissapointment and shock was still awaiting me. To my utter dismay I found that an exorbitant rate is being charged from my current balance whenever I open the internet, no matter whether I only browse or download, even though the plan says unlimited. The customer care personnel informed me that initially 1.5 gb is free thereafter I will be charged for further data transfer but he failed to explain why I am being charged right from the begining. He promised to look into the matter but the entire day passed without any change. I called the customer care several time all of them were unhelpful in solving my problem. As things stand now I am unable to use the internet without my account balance pulmetting to zero.
                                  I had registered a complaint regarding Mobile Office Usage and wrond information given by the customer care, due to which i faced a lots of problems. The floor supervisor took initiative and promised to get back within 24 hrs, and yet there is no positive update. Now i can't get connected through the call centre too. Please help!

                                    Received a message from an Airtel executive in regards to the broadband internet connection, so i called and spoke to Raghavan, who was a sales executive.
                                    He called me back and asked me to submit all documents with a fee of 1000.00 RS. He also confirmed that connection is available in my area and it will be installed in 48 hrs.
                                    I waited for 48 hrs and called him after 48 hrs, everyday he kept on telling me that it will be coonected today for about a week.
                                    Spoke to Karthick at Airtel customer care, he tells me that there is no port availability in my area and it cannot be connected, hence i am not eligible for the connection.
                                    No body from Airtel even bothered to call me and inform me about this. I had to call and find out from myself which is absolute poor and useless service from Airtel.
                                    I asked karthick to transfer the call to one of his supervisor, Both of them told me that it would take me 15 days to get my 1000.00 rs refunded. Does Airtel think that all people are fools or something.
                                    Airtel is fooling people because of which we are losing faith and trust in any other company also.

                                    Initially it was told that connection is available and later after one and half week i was told it is not available and it will take me 15 days to refund 1000.00 RS....

                                    This is not at all acceptable, and i never expected this kind of service from AIRTEL..I thought it is good but it is one of the worst customer service that i have ever experienced.

                                      I had obtained a new connection from your company. It was provided to me for the reason that I am already having a connection which was supplied by Southern Railway under CUG scheme. I have been repeatedly canvassed by your marketing group to obtain extra connection which will also comes under CUG scheme for which i have paid a Rs.300/- which was collected by a representative Mr. Saran on 06/03/10.
                                      I had been given with a number [protected] which was come into service and later it was disconnected for the reason which I don’t know. As such necessary action is sorted and give the connection in the same number.

                                        My office is located at Bangara Hills Roadno.2. It is the middle of the Hyderabad City.
                                        We are not getting airtel signal in my office. We are all thinking all in jungle. Is it correct ?
