I had sold my car on 22nd Aug 2019 via Cars24. I was told that the RC transfer and all paperwork will be done by Cars24. Since I trusted Car24, I did not keep track of the same.

But recently I got aware that the transfer is still pending. Even after following up with Cars24 customer care, there is no resolution.

    Complaint about not payment of my challan amount withheld, which I have cleared

    I sold my car to Cars24 on 17th March (Car No. UP14BQ5942) and they withheld INR 23, 948 for challans pending. I personally cleared all my challans online & court. Now when I asked them to pay my balance amount withheld, they have paid only INR 13, 000 and saying they have held back balance as they have cleared the challans.
    Need help to get my balance payment of INR 11, 000 plus INR 10, 000 (they held for Party peshi in UP) which...

      I had got my Baleno evaluation done two weeks back. After that I received a quote of Rs 512412. The justification given was I being the second owner on the RTO paper, since my husband had transferred it to my name. After that I was received incessant calls from cars24 to ask whether the quote was acceptable? My expectation was Rs 6lacs.         We deal cars from cars 24 and other platforms. This cars 24 is complete cheater they charge parking charges if you deley payment after stock in done. Which is stored in their garage. Which you get it delivered you we get to know odometer tampered.no money is being refunded yet and as well as complete issue in the car like total brake damages was there. We cannot verify the car before purchasing the product all we can see by their applications pictures. After getting car delivered when you see any problem or something we are forced to take their cars what so ever if you cancel deal they charge 20000 per car and 10000 before getting the car. Took 30000 for cancellation for deal. which they are not refunding yet and as well as one car money is still with them. Thats also not getting it refunded.

          Hi Team,

          I have sold my Car (FORD FIGO 1.4 ZXI DURATORQ) to Car24 on 31 Jan 2020 which is more than 2 years from present and they have sold my Car's RC and my Car is still on my name. Now I'm informing the Cars24 team on a daily basis but no action has been taken from their side.

          Kindly let me know when RC will be transferred to the other party.

          At the time of sale of my car to Cars24, their salespersons assured me that RC will be transferred within 90 days.

          Please update me as soon as possible or in other cases I have to launch a complaint in consumer court against Cars24.

          Attached are the documents provided by Cars24 after I sold my car.

            Hi, My name is Imtiaz Pasha
            I have purchased a car Hyundai I20 KA04MM8243, from CARS24 on 27 Feb 2022, with full cash payment of INR 394600/-, but there was some issue in the car, which I high lighted to sales person Mr Shiav from Jakur Ward.
            He suggested me to leave the car there only, so that they will fixed the issue & give the delivery of the car, hence I left the there only on 27 feb 2020.
            After a week they delivered the car to me @ 9.30 pm in the night. I asked the driver is this the time to deliver the car, he simply replied, I don't know, am outsource person. I was happy that car has come & let him go.
            Next day I drove the car, still found same issues, I immediately called up to sales person, he replied I can't do anything now, since the car is delivered to you, u have to raise the complaint from app, they will come & resolve the issue.
            I said ok & raise the complaint, next day the person comes & take the car, after so many follow ups & calls to customers care, after a week so, on 15 March 2022, I get the car back, i drove the car & had found another new issues in the car, I immediately raised a return complaint to take back the car.
            Let me highlight here from 27 Feb 2022 to 15 March 2022, the was in their garage only, it was not with me.
            However since 15 March, I have been chasing these people's to take back the car & refund my money, as per their policy once the car is delivered to you will get 7 days grace period to drive & test the car, but in my case I have requested for return on the same day, when car was delivered to me.
            Every day I call up to their customers care & ask to take back the car, but everytime they give me only one answer, our team is working on it, you get the call back within 24 to 48hours, but till now they have not called me, neither they have taken the car back & refunded my money.
            Can some one please help me here. Am fed up chasing these people. This is not acceptable from a brand like CARS24, they have lost my faith in them. I don't think I will ever go back to them or refer them to any of my friends or relatives.
            I wil take this matter on social platform, if they dont revert back ASAP. & let people know their fraudulent promises of MRL chcek & all that.

                  This is to let you know that I haven't received any calls for ownership transfer till date, but CARS24 claimed that they tried reaching out to me.
                  However, after receiving the mail and SMS, I tried calling the mentioned number and also Mr. Sourav Basu from Cars24 multiple times. But didn't get any response from anyone yet.
                  After multiple follow ups I came to know my sold car is in Siliguri RTO, whereas I reside at Kolkata. So this isn't possible for me to travel to Siliguri for name transfer.
                  There aren't any communications from Cars24 henceforth, and currently I am stuck with name transfer as well as the Rs.10000/- held for the same.

                  NOTE : I am currently out of station and will be available from first week of April for Ownership transfer.

                  This has already been notified to your support. And to utter shock, I was notified I need to travel to Siliguri RTO (500+ km from my place) for name transfer, whereas the name transfer was done at Katwa RTO (120KM from my place) which I could travel easily. I have been totally misguided and harassed.
                  If the Rs.10000/- isn't been paid back to me soon, I will be bound to proceed legally for harassment charges, as I faced a lot of harassment through these misguidement from your end. I hope, this will be solved soon, which would in turn be beneficial for both you and myself.

                    I bought a car on cars24 app, for a EMI, my EMI date is 6th of every month, for the first three month they detected properly, suddenly on the month of November the EMI was not detect on EMI date that is 6th of November 2021, instead they detected the EMI amount On 9th of November 2021, unfortunately my credit card payment was detected on 8th of November, so the amount I maintained for cars24 emi is used for credit card, and later on 9th of November 2021 cars24 detected my EMI without any pre information, that time there was no sufficient balance on my EMI account. And it was made as a bounce EMI on that month, if they had informed me proper, I would be deposite the money, with out knowledge they did all this things, and fined ruppes 1400 for bouncing charge, i rised the complaint to the customer service my time, but they are not even considering my issues

                      I have sold my car DL3CBJ8945 (Swift Dzire) in March 2021 to Cars24 dealer however despite multiple follow-ups via email/phone, ownership of my car has not been transferred yet and we're getting a run around every now and then. There has been multiple promises by their side however there is no action on the ground yet. Please help resolve this issue at the earliest.

                        I booked a car by paying Rs25999/- which was a refundable amount if I don't like the car after test drive.
                        The next day after the trial I informed them about not liking the car and cancel my booking, they refunded my Rs999/- instead of Rs 25999/-.
                        Companies executive Mr Fakir Mustakeen confirmed me the above at the time of test drive.

                          1) car sold on 1st week of October and party peshi done on 23 dec 2021.
                          2) RC status changed to NOC ISSUED from ACTIVE.
                          3) RC status again changed to ACTIVE and RTO changed to sitapur from mathura

                          4) for last 2 months, status is as above and it's on my wife name only. Why it's not changed however RTO and RC status is changed?

                          Your channel partner Mohd Arif is very unreliable person, first, every time I call, he picked very rare and just ask me to call next week etc.

                          I am seriously doubt some kind of criminal activity in that. I suspect that cars24 team is also involved in that.

                          Ao now onwards just put your ignorant behavior aside and work on my request seriously, otherwise I have to file FIR.

                          I am so unfortunate that I sold my car through cars24, from day 1, I faced only problems, nothing else. Shame on you. Now my frustration level crossed it's limit.

                              As discussed with Customer care my car sold in cars 24 on jan 2020 still name transfer pending more over myself received penalty message from police regarding 1: Not using seat belt ( CMVR 138(3)/177 )[Fine - 100] 2: Signal Violation ( Sec 119 U/s 177 )[Fine - 100] hence kindly help to pay the same and confirm and also kindly transfer ownership name ASAP and confirm.

                                I booked an appointment to sell my car on cars24 Agra adarsh nagar office.I went they did the inspection.In website after filling details it showed good condition 338000/- excellent condition 378000/-.Anyways after inspection they offered 270000 but then the climax started they started calling daily increasing some amount at last I received a call of Rs.315000/- and it took me a day to decide and I call to confirm it of 315000/- but they said your lead has been removed now you again have to go to inspection I again did the whole process but here again twist arise that they cant inspect because it has to be 15 says between first to second inspection.Now, they said we will again make an auction which will take time now its second day I didnt recieved any call.Please do not sell your car in cars 24 they just fool you taking your time and at the end they just give up with the lowest price in the market.They never ever offer you the highest prices its just a phrase which they say which does not have any actualy relation with they do.

                                    I sold my car - Hyundai VERNA to CARS24 on 23rd December 2021 for which 17500 INR was withheld out of the total cost communicated to me by the buying company.

                                    The reason for amount block was Party Peshi (10000 INR to be received after signing at RTO for car transfer) & 2 Challans (2000 INR each) - 4000 approx.
                                    Although the total amount was adds up to 14000 only yet they made some excuse to make it 17500 but promised me to be having the whole amount after party peshi (they promised to give me a notification 15 days before party peshi date)
                                    Apart from this no other information was shared with me.

                                    I got a call on 16th of february 2022; just 4/5 days before. It was not possible for me to attend at such a short notice so I requested for another date along with my pending payment.
                                    I continuously tried to contact them for the pending payment & all the time it was mentioned that they have escalated my complaint internally for the pending payment. No other information was provided by the company representatives.
                                    Today I got a message that they have transferred the car to another customer without party peshi / my signatures & challan clearance (which they were insisting since start that pending payment can be done only after party peshi). I called the customer care & got to know that no full payment of 10000 will be refunded as I could not go the Party Peshi & only 5000 INR could be refunded. This information was never shared with me in the past by any of the representative.
                                    They have blocked the pending 5000 INR.

                                    For challan of 4000 INR, they blocked 7500 INR & informed me that as soon as the challans are paid by me they will refund the amount. I paid the online challan of 2000 INR & another Court challan I promised them to pay by myself yesterday itself on a call with their representative TRISHA.

                                    Today I got the message that the car has been transferred onto another customer name & I will not be getting the pending amount because I am late to clear the challan & I was supposed to clear the Challans within 10 days. Yesterday on call with the customer care TRISHA, no mention of 10 days policy payment was ever mentioned.

                                    7000 INR was deposited in my account after yesterday so many complaints & discussions with customer care.

                                    Even today when I called the representative Rajnish disconnected the call & did not call back.

                                    10000 INR amount has still not been paid to me.
                                    Requesting you to please help.
