I have requested for the cancellation of my membership from the club mahindra on 28th june'19. The reason for this is misleading sale representations from your sales staff and intent of cheating the customers.
As, i was getting continuous calls from your local (Vadodara) club mahindra’s staff regarding the free holiday voucher since i have purchased my new maruti dzire car. On 23rd june 2019 i decided to attend the so called “seminar” which actually was a one to one – face to face interaction with your sales executive (Prannoy majumdar) – this was the first misleading information shared from your side.
After a one and half hour discussion (Which was supposed to be of 30 mins only to come and collect the free holiday voucher) your sale person forced us to become member through their misleading marketing representations. Giving free holiday voucher was nothing but a trap – which i could realize now. They didn’t allow us to have enough time to think over and decide and continuously pushed us to take a decision on the spot only.
Since i was not convinced, they tried to convince me by offering 7n/8d rci also
I made the payment of rs. 66, 767 through my credit card for a down payment of rs. 32, 840 and 3 emis of 33, 927 (11, 309 x 3) for white season.
The problem started when after a day i requested mr. Prannoy to book my holidays as i had already paid the down payment and three emis. He showed his inability to book the stay and then utilized my free voucher to book it – that too in hu (Hotel unit) which was never described in the whole plan. And i was told to pay rs 2, 000/- to hotel at the time of check in. Why should i pay more when i have already paid 67kinr.
Since my trust level was completely gone by this time, i thought of collecting more information regarding the cost of food & taxes and other chargeable things, i was shocked to know that the cost of buffet was too high than what they had informed us. Again – fraud marketing.
They had informed us that their resort are exclusively for the members only, but it is easily available on the sites / apps like make my trip and others, at a very cheap rates (Including complimentary meals) just looting the members with too much costly food at resorts.
I have not trust on the company who does its business in such an unethical way. Hence, i want to withdraw my membership immediately and want my entire money to be refunded back to me without any delay. Failing to which, i shall be forced to initiate legal actions against club mahindra and its management team.
