I joined club mahindra membership on november 3, 2018 at mahindra resort, cherai beach, kochi, kerala. I paid the down payment of rs. 31, 530. Afterwards, from january 2019 to june 2019, i paid the monthly installment of rs. 57, 456 (Rs. 9576 per month). The total amount i payed is rs. 88, 986.
Since i realized my mistake that i am not using my membership to its potential, and booking hotels directly (Rather than though membership) is a much cheaper and hassle free experience, i decided to cancel my membership - 2843861 on june 24, 2019.
I called their member experience management centre at[protected] and told them about my decision. I was told i would be contacted from their cancellation department.
After waiting for 6 days with no response from club mahindra, i decided to reach out to their "grievance redressal" by email on june 30 - "mhril=[protected]". The only reply i got from them was - "please reconsider your decision". When i made it clear that i wanted to proceed to cancel my membership, i didn't get any response.
To "grievance raddress" my "grievance redressal", i added ms. Meghana desai, head – grievance redressal - centralized customer service, at [protected]@mahindraholidays.com and mr. Sujit paul, chief - member experience management and business excellence, at [protected]@mahindraholidays.com.
After waiting for a total of 22 days with no sort of response from them, i threatened them that i will raise a complaint in consumer court on july 14. I got a call back finally today, july 15 and i was told that i will get so sort of refund.
By delaying cancellation to its maximum, their only aim is to eat as much emi as possible from their customers. No clear cancellation policy is another clear sign of evil intentions.
I am worried that i lost my complete sum of rs. 88, 986 for nothing. Burning that amount of money would've at least given me the joy of watching the fire.
I have faith in this country's law enforcement, and i am sure that they will agree that this is a company designed to purely drain money from their customers' pockets.
I hope i get atleast a partial refund of my hard earned money.

I paid for Club M Select membership because they claimed to give best offers.However better deals are available on other portals.
