Mis-selling & poor service

Hi,

I had purchased a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop in the month of May last year. The service tag no is 6K2C3BS. The booking was done by a dell representative, Namita Srivastava in Croma, Pune and I had opted for payment by Citibank credit card in 12 installments. While booking, Namita told me that the installment would be at 0% interest. Later when I received my credit card bill, I came to know that I was being charged interest...

Vijay Sales and Dell not providing me Windows 7 CD

I have purcased dell 1545 inspiron Laptop on 24/10/2009.It came with preinstalled Windows 7.

But I did not get the genuine Windows 7 CD.On asking it from the retailer shop(Vijay Sales,Mumbai) from where I bought the Laptop ,the retailer is not ready to accept that he has not given me the CD's.Tell me what should I do?
They have also not mentioned about the CD in invoice.

Extremely bad service

I extended the warranty on the Dell laptop computer in August 2009. The money has been collected by dell and till date Dell system does not show extension of warranty. Contacting Dell to fix the laptop has become a nightmare as the technical website does not work. The telephone contact details also do not work and this is the most frustrating experience. Dell after sales service is extremely poor.They do not even give a email id wherein one...

Bad bad bad battery

I have Purchased a Dell laptop of XPS 1530 model. In the begining it worked properly... After the expiration of the warranty period the laptop battery has been gone and its not working... it shows there is no battery found eventhough there is a battery... if i contact the customer care means they are simply telling that your warranty period has been expired and so you have to buy a new battery only... BAD TECHNICAL SERVICE

Colour fading

Sir, I have been using Dell Inspiron 1525 since Jan 2009. I am really unhappy with the product because the silver flanks started fading in less than a year's time. Right now it looks ugly..... I would like to inform you abt the increasing dissatisfaction among dell customers about such things. I request you to take necessary action asap. Either you take necessary action or get ready to lose all your customers to smart laptop companies...

UNPROFESSIONAL AND FALSE BEHAVIOUR OF SALE REPRESENTATIVE

Beware of buying anything from Dell

I ordered a Dell Studio 15 laptop on 5th January 2010 (fully charged on my credit card), on 12th January I made certain changes to the conifiguration based on an advertisement email sent by Dell for an Intel i5 based system. I was assured by the sales rep that the new order would be uploaded and shipped and that the old order would be put on hold (email confirmation in writing). UNRELIABLE to purchase from DELL

I placed the order with DELL on FEB 1 and Dell offered FREE NEXT DAY SHIPPING on the systems; 2 days later I got an email notifying the production delayed, then the next day they canceled my account with reason due to the shortage of the part and they were unable to fulfill their order; I was so mad because I bought this systems not only for me but for my other relatives; I called DELL customer service then they played the game transfering...
