I have 2 connections of Dish TV and the hardware got faulty for one of these so I decided to quit Dish TV as this seems to be a common issue and I am not willing to keep on paying for the hardware when I am already paying for the connections. I called to the customer care, they told me that I need to have a minimum balance of 850 for amount to be transferred to one connection.

I added 600 Rupees more and then I called again and then the said no amount will be transfer and we will deduct the COMPLETE amount which they never told me in the previous call.

I want refund of my each and every penny as I was not provided with the complete information.

Hi. Dishtv packages are for cheating customer, while purchase their executives provide wrong information...and they do start cutting money like anything...even after complain they don't stop under thousand reasons...

    Respected Sir,
    I have book dishtv connection through comparedth.com on 17/09/2016. But some technical reason company engineer not fitted this connection at my home.
    And after that I put complaint for amount refund on 19/09/2016 dated, but since i have not getting refund my money and comparedth.com not given me any response.
    Hence i request you to please help me for refund my money.

      Due to ignorance about the pick up channels options, i have selected it and i lost all my hd subscription. I hereby request you to re-add full hd plus south hd to my vc. If hds are not possible with pick up channels option, please change the same into jumbo family then add ful hd plus south hd to it. You can charge any penalty or fine for this, in case any.

        Respected sir

        We are old customer since 2006 vc no. [protected] . we have recharge said vc for five years in 2012 .next recharge date shown in the account on[protected] and amount is approx.6500.
        we have requested you to provide a multy connection. you provided on[protected] new vc no is [protected] . after one month we have recharge new vc for rs 310 on[protected] next recharge date is[protected] Now on[protected] when you changed odl vc no [protected] in child of parrents vc the balance of old v comes to appox.200. please provide me details of billing cycle of old vc no [protected] since 2012 and transfer my old vc amount to new vcno.

        Now you have not send me datails of billing cycle of old vc no [protected] since 2012 as i have recharge this vc for five years in sep 2012 and next recharge date shown in account is[protected] and amount shown rs 6526. after your team cunverted new vc as parrent and old vc as child the balance of old vc is errased off. please resolve solution for this incedent otherwise your customercare team had given me loss of rs.9000 in one month . as you know I have request cusmer care for multy connection in last weak of august. on[protected] multy connection installed vc no [protected]. when massage shown on tv that you recharge vc no [protected]. I talk to customercare at that time they say that your request for new connection insteed of multy. I said that I have request for multy at that time. they say that if you request for multy than after verification we will give you malty connection. i object that at that time no person in customer care told me that first you takke new connction then after verification convert to multy . In the advertisement in tv you have shown that first you purchase new connection then convert multy Team of customer care never told me about system/procedure for multy connection. on 2nd sep 16 wehave recharge 310 in vc no [protected] because the massage shown on tv. now when we approched customer care for multy on[protected] they asked me whether you want old vc as parrent or new vc for parrent then I told that as you wish. at that time they have never told that hd connection are necessary for parrent .On[protected] old vc's setop box changed bacause of falt. we have paid rs 350 for setop box, rs 150 as visit, rs 100 for verification plus service tax as applicable.last month wehave paid 1850 for hd setop box. when your team were converted connection in multy old vc has balance of rs 6526 and new hd vc no [protected] has balance of rs 325. after multy parrant vc shows balance of 325. and child vc shows balance of 200. I want to know that what is wrong done with old vc no [protected] which has balance of rs6526 as on[protected] and next recharge date shown in account is[protected], customer care always say that we will not in a position to say anything. you keep writing through email and ask for detail of biling cycle of old vc no [protected] who was recharge for five years in advance in sep 2012. please take care me other wise I am compel to act accordingly I am 10 years old association with your goodself. now next recharge date shown in the parrant vc is[protected] as well in the child vc. on[protected] parrent vc and child vc closed for veiwing. What is my mistake in one month that I have lost my 9000 rs and association with dish tv. If you are interested to help me please help.

                  My vc is deactivate few month I call the dish TV customer care he told one year’s recharge my account at 99 Rs -1213 and you get 12+1month free 1 years only set top box warranty . But I told my pack is super family pack .he told deactivate my previous pack and active Rs-99 pack

                      I am having dish tv connection. I have taken it 03 months ago. Since 25 sep it is showing signal problem. I have made a complaint about it on 26 sep. They told that by today evening the problem will be fixed but nothing positive come from them. Again on 27 I called customer care. They told that sir you have to wait for 24 hours. Then I got a call from their technician saying that he will come in some time but I kept on waiting for that guy till late evening. After that I called him but he didn't attended my call. On 28 again I called several time to customer care but nothing happened. Again and again the same assurance that sir we will resolve it soon but actually it didn't happen. I don't want to continue with their services but they are saying that sir return policy nahi h. If return policy is not there then they should provide services. Fed up with the response from dish tv

                      The complaint has not been resolved by dish tv. They are torchering me again and again but not sending any technician. I want to return set top box. Do some needful or they should compensate for their fault nd some senior executive should give a call nd assure about that

                        This is in continuation to my earlier request via phone call, but i see nothing is happening. There is always "faulty viewing card" on the screen and as directed by dishtv care i took the same to the dish service centre here in leh, they told me to upgrade it to higher hd version, i simply want to exchange the old set top box for your rs 699/ and continue the platinum pack as usual, but the service centre here insisted on upgradation to hd version the only option where in i have to pay +250/month more, now its taking too much time in between, shall i opt for another service or there will be any prompt action from dishtv.

                            Respected Sir/Madam,

                            I have been using Dish TV services from about 2016. Last time I made a payment of Rs. 225 on[protected] but still my connection was deactive til[protected]. I would have called the Dish TV customer care but the cellular services were barred in Kashmir. Finally I managed to send an email to Dish TV on[protected] and on the same day the connection was activated. In the process, I was not able to avail the Dish TV services for one month (from 22-09 to 25-09). When I asked the Dish TV executives for the benefit of one month that was wasted because of the problem at their end, they denied to provide the same.
                            Now I request your kind attention towards the same and I hope the needful will be done.

                              My vc number-[protected].
                              We got the new dishtv connection last month and our 1st free month subscription got ended by 20th sep, 2016. And they gave 3 days extension for recharge. From 20th onwards we have been trying to use 'pick by channel' option and recharge tv.

                              Customercare people said, once when we select channels and click on submit button, customercare executive will call us within 24 hours, but nobody called us.

                              And also when we click on submit button, it displays a message saying we need to recharge by minimum amount 850rs/-.

                              We called customercare several times, but they are keep on telling us that, once our 1st month prescription is over pick by channel option will be enabled to us. But its not true.

                              Within a month we got fedup of kind of customer service provided by dishtv and we don't recommend this connection to any of our friends.

                              Please fix issue of pick by channel or take back your dishtv box and refund our money.

                                I was already recharged my dish tv account which is [protected] on[protected] and also get conformation message on[protected]. Today[protected] evening 15:10 hrs. But still showing message that today is last date. I was yesterday call customer care but they are said "you are not recharge your account".                                   My dishtv was deactivated on 21/9/2016 at 11.59 p.m.till before deactivation my all channels was running properly.i made full payment of rs.6685 on 22/9/2016 for full year.when i checked my mostly channels were not running it was showing error that signal not found.when i complained they says that it is technical problem and for technician it will charge 150+ service charge.many times i have paid like this.they always cheat saying technical problem.so now i dont want their services.i want to deactivate and get back my money deducting my usage charges.i dont want dishtv i want my money back.

                                    While completing the payment, I was redirected to some stupid page freejeeto, the link was https://secure.payu.in/response.php?no_retry=1&code=4&mihpayid=fd289329c09cdc09a...

                                    The page showed the "transaction has failed because the bank servers are not reachable". I tried from the RETRY payment options.
                                    Again the same issue occurred.

                                    Rs 1890 + Rs 1890 i.e Rs 3780 was deducted from my account.

                                    Not even single time my dishtv account has been recharged.

                                    Please either refund my money or update my dishtv account as soon as possible.

                                      On Mar-2016, I have paid for 1 year in advance to Dishtv. (Biggest mistake of my life, I trusted Dishtv).

                                      Before removing a la carte channels calculation breakdown is
                                      Main Conn- Super family pack - Rs 270/month

                                      Child Conn - Rs. 225/month
                                      Pack Total - Rs 495/

                                      Main Conn- 4 a la carte channels

                                      Bindass Play - Rs. 5/month
                                      Miniplex - Rs. 60/month
                                      MTV - Rs. 5/month
                                      CNN NEWS18 - Rs. 5/month

                                      Child Conn - 4 a la carte channels
                                      Bindass Play - Rs. 5/month
                                      Miniplex - Rs. 60/month
                                      MTV - Rs.5/month
                                      CNN NEWS18 - Rs.5/month

                                      Total a la carte ( 8 channels) - Rs. 150/month

                                      Final Total (pack + a la carte total) -
                                      Rs. 495 + Rs. 150
                                      =
                                      Rs.645

                                      On 14-Sep-2016, I have removed 4 a la carte channels, 2 from main conn. and 2 from child conn., when Dishtv update billing they have changed switch off date from 28-June-2017 to 26-May-2017.

                                      Now the point is that, how when I removed 4 a la carte channels, I lost recharge for 1 month and 2 days along with cost of 4 a la carte channels for remaining period of switch off date that is 28-June-2017

                                      Here is breakdown of calculation

                                      Monthly recharge including Main and Child Conn with current a la carte channels - Rs. 625/month

                                      Main Conn- 2 a la carte channels (now removed)

                                      MTV - Rs. 5/month
                                      CNN NEWS18 - Rs. 5/month

                                      Child Conn - 2 a la carte channels (now removed)
                                      MTV - Rs.5/month
                                      CNN NEWS18 - Rs.5/month

                                      Total a la carte - Rs. 20/month

                                      Total saving after removing 4 ala carte channels -
                                      Rs 20/month till 28-June-2017

                                      Final Total Saving will be Rs 20 x 9(remaining months )+ Rs.10 (15 days remaining in Sep, 2016)
                                      =
                                      Rs 180 + Rs. 10
                                      =
                                      Rs. 190

                                      Per day expenditure - Rs 20

                                      Total no of days to add in switch off date = 190/20 = 9.5 = 10 days

                                      BUT DISHTV changed switch off date to 26/May/2017

                                      Loss of Rs 625( 1 month recharge )
                                      +
                                      Rs 40 (2 days recharge)
                                      +
                                      Rs 190 (saving from removing 4 a la carte channels)

                                      ( I lost to dishtv after removing 4 a la carte channels)

                                      I was surprised how after removing channels I lost recharge for 1 month and 2 days including saving from 4 a la carte channels.

                                      After 15-Sep-2016, I contacted customer care and registered complaint[protected], nothing happened.

                                      On 17-Sep-2016, I contacted customer care and registered another complaint[protected], nothing happened again.

                                      Also, customer care person told me that they will transfer my call to senior executive but after waiting for more than 15mins they informed that all seniors are busy and they can arrange call back but till today (20-Sep-2016), no call back received. This happened 2 times.

                                      After this I send message to dishtv on twitter.com - https://twitter.com/DishTV_India

                                      I received reply on twitter.com (Thank God for reply) but after sending and receiving many messages, problem still exists.

                                      I received one call from Ms. Shihka Desai at 4:30 P.M on 20-Sep-2016, but with my more surprise she told me that billing is all correct and I have activated 2 a la carte channels(Bindass Play and Miniplex) on child conn. on 17-Sep-2016.

                                      I have sent screenshot of all sms which I received on July-2016 after activating 8 a la carte channels.

                                      Now real cheating started...

                                      What is incorrect .. completely false in Ms. Shihka Desai explanation

                                      checkout Music section there is no Bindass Play channel to add.
                                      This channel is present till Aug-2016 after that dishtv replaced this with channel V.
                                      If channel is not present in a la carte then how I can add it to child conn. on 17-Sep-2016 ??

                                      2- I have not received any sms for activation of 2 channels on child conn. on 17-Sep-2016.

                                      3- Now for a minute, if I do calculation with Ms. Desai explanation then calculation will be like

                                      Bindass Play - Rs.5/month ( which is not present now in a la carte but before Aug-2016 it is present with Rs. 5)
                                      Miniplex- Rs.60/month
                                      Total child conn. a la carte total = Rs. 65/month (till new switch off date 26-May-2016)
                                      Final total = Rs. 65*8(months) = Rs. 520

                                      But what Dishtv deducted is Rs. 625 + 40 (2 days recharge) = Rs.665 and this is not equal to Rs.520 (acc. to Ms. Shikha Desai explanation)

                                      I suffered a loss of 1 month and 2 days recharge with saving from removing of 4 a la carte channels( till 28-June-2017) = Rs. 855,
