Hi,

On Mar-2016, I have paid for 1 year in advance to Dishtv. (Biggest mistake of my life, I trusted Dishtv).

Before removing a la carte channels calculation breakdown is
Main Conn- Super family pack - Rs 270/month

Child Conn - Rs. 225/month
Pack Total - Rs 495/

Main Conn- 4 a la carte channels

Bindass Play - Rs. 5/month
Miniplex - Rs. 60/month
MTV - Rs. 5/month
CNN NEWS18 - Rs. 5/month

Child Conn - 4 a la carte channels
Bindass Play - Rs. 5/month
Miniplex - Rs. 60/month
MTV - Rs.5/month
CNN NEWS18 - Rs.5/month

Total a la carte ( 8 channels) - Rs. 150/month

Final Total (pack + a la carte total) -
Rs. 495 + Rs. 150
=
Rs.645

On 14-Sep-2016, I have removed 4 a la carte channels, 2 from main conn. and 2 from child conn., when Dishtv update billing they have changed switch off date from 28-June-2017 to 26-May-2017.

Now the point is that, how when I removed 4 a la carte channels, I lost recharge for 1 month and 2 days along with cost of 4 a la carte channels for remaining period of switch off date that is 28-June-2017

Here is breakdown of calculation

Monthly recharge including Main and Child Conn with current a la carte channels - Rs. 625/month

Main Conn- 2 a la carte channels (now removed)

MTV - Rs. 5/month
CNN NEWS18 - Rs. 5/month

Child Conn - 2 a la carte channels (now removed)
MTV - Rs.5/month
CNN NEWS18 - Rs.5/month

Total a la carte - Rs. 20/month

Total saving after removing 4 ala carte channels -
Rs 20/month till 28-June-2017

Final Total Saving will be Rs 20 x 9(remaining months )+ Rs.10 (15 days remaining in Sep, 2016)
=
Rs 180 + Rs. 10
=
Rs. 190

Per day expenditure - Rs 20

Total no of days to add in switch off date = 190/20 = 9.5 = 10 days

BUT DISHTV changed switch off date to 26/May/2017

Loss of Rs 625( 1 month recharge )
+
Rs 40 (2 days recharge)
+
Rs 190 (saving from removing 4 a la carte channels)
=
Rs 855
( I lost to dishtv after removing 4 a la carte channels)

I was surprised how after removing channels I lost recharge for 1 month and 2 days including saving from 4 a la carte channels.

After 15-Sep-2016, I contacted customer care and registered complaint[protected], nothing happened.

On 17-Sep-2016, I contacted customer care and registered another complaint[protected], nothing happened again.

Also, customer care person told me that they will transfer my call to senior executive but after waiting for more than 15mins they informed that all seniors are busy and they can arrange call back but till today (20-Sep-2016), no call back received. This happened 2 times.

After this I send message to dishtv on twitter.com - https://twitter.com/DishTV_India

I received reply on twitter.com (Thank God for reply) but after sending and receiving many messages, problem still exists.

I received one call from Ms. Shihka Desai at 4:30 P.M on 20-Sep-2016, but with my more surprise she told me that billing is all correct and I have activated 2 a la carte channels(Bindass Play and Miniplex) on child conn. on 17-Sep-2016.

I have sent screenshot of all sms which I received on July-2016 after activating 8 a la carte channels.

Now real cheating started...

What is incorrect .. completely false in Ms. Shihka Desai explanation

checkout Music section there is no Bindass Play channel to add.
This channel is present till Aug-2016 after that dishtv replaced this with channel V.
If channel is not present in a la carte then how I can add it to child conn. on 17-Sep-2016 ??

2- I have not received any sms for activation of 2 channels on child conn. on 17-Sep-2016.

3- Now for a minute, if I do calculation with Ms. Desai explanation then calculation will be like

Bindass Play - Rs.5/month ( which is not present now in a la carte but before Aug-2016 it is present with Rs. 5)
Miniplex- Rs.60/month
Total child conn. a la carte total = Rs. 65/month (till new switch off date 26-May-2016)
Final total = Rs. 65*8(months) = Rs. 520

But what Dishtv deducted is Rs. 625 + 40 (2 days recharge) = Rs.665 and this is not equal to Rs.520 (acc. to Ms. Shikha Desai explanation)

I suffered a loss of 1 month and 2 days recharge with saving from removing of 4 a la carte channels( till 28-June-2017) = Rs. 855,

So, I want to register complaint against Dishtv.

I have hope that Dishtv will solve this.

    I subhendu sekhar panda here state that on dated 15/09/2016 Dish TV technician had come on my complain to check the Dish TV connection and he found the set of box is faulty. He changed set of box which was activated on 16/09/2016.The new VC No is [protected] dish+ with super family pack and the old VC No is [protected] dishHD+ with super family pack. In my old VC recharge date is 30/09/2016 So there is 15 days balance in old VC remaining with dish TV which was not carried forward to new VC.Kindly take necessary action. Thanking you.       I am using the services of Dish TV with VC no [protected]. The connection was upgraded to HD in the month of June at the cost of 1000Rs aprox. In the month of Aug, HD channels stopped coming. When complaints attended on 21st Aug after 3 days of waiting, Technician fixed old used LMB on the antenna. Problem started again on 10th Sep which was attended on 14th, this time it did not stay even for 2 days. on 16th problem repeated again. On 18th Technician who attended confirmed that old component is fitted and that is the cause of all the repeated problems.

      Call center person who called on 18th Sep was not even ready to listen and understand actual concern, instead only repeatedly asking their own questions.

      Requesting you to get the issue resolved on permanent basis or help in getting the refund of initial cost, so that I can switch over to another service provider.

        I have requested to upgrade my normal Set Top Box (STB) to HD on 14th Sept 2016. A technician from DishTV visited & received the payment of Rs 2200/- for replacement of new HD STB. However, even after 6 days, I'm unable to get HD channels. On the top of it, I lost normal channels also which were available earlier. I called 3-4 times to cust care but with no results. First I was told to make an additional recharge. I did. But no improvement. Then I was told that still you have ordinary STB only. This is again not true. I could physically see that new STB is with HD features. And even if its normal STB, why normal channels are not available after this upgrade task??

        I can conclude that there is no responsible person to attend the service request within stipulated time period. Such an unprofessional way is not expected from such a company.

        My VC# is [protected]. I have been charged amount without any notification. I did not request for HD Service. However I am unable to watch any HD Channel of Game on HD. So request to you please discontinue my HD Channel as soon as possible.

          few hours back I have made a recharge on a VC No. But mistakenly I have entered last two digits wrong so the recharge amount has to someone else's account.
          Kindly help me in the same to reverse the amount in the desired dish tv account.

          I have given all the details which required but dish tv is asking for some Order id, transaction id but when I provided the same they are saying that the transaction I'd is not the same as mentioned in that system and asking me to get valid no from payzapp but payzapp doesn't have any other no.

            I have recharged my card day before yesterday. After the transaction I received an email from dish TV that the transaction is successfully completed. The recharged amount isn't credited in my account. Whats are the issues with this? I would like to know them. Will our money be wasted? Fast replies are expected. Now the switch off day is tomorrow. So please do the needful.

              I have deposited rs.18, 000/- on[protected] towards connection of eighteen dish tv connection to my"hotel lavender"with eighteen rooms. After taking deposit of afore said amount till now i have been given only seven connection and balance connection they are not giving for the reson not known to me.in the mean time i hv touched every corner of dish tv but have not been given mere reply to sort out my problem, one mr manas service/sales head of dish tv is playing delay tactics and putting my small hotel in to losses. Tv connection in hotel rooms are an essential requisite. Such a cheating organisation like dish tv is still surviveing in twenty first century when consumerism is getting support from all corner is un imazineable.

                my vc number is [protected], i have a problem of signal not found for last 2 days, can you please resolve the issue asap..
                we tried calling many times but customer care executive replied that switch off and on and wait for 15 minutes.

                finally i got fed up on this

                i have a validity untill next year june.

                  We had purchased DISH TV in the month May 2016, distributor had registered wrong number, we had told him to register on [protected] but the has been registered as [protected].

After 4month same problem comes and dishtv executive changed again new hd set top box, means i have paid 560/-rs 3time, dishtv using very low quality hd set top box which fail after 90days period. I told every one who plan to buy dish tv never buy it otherwise u have ready to pay rs 560/- every time after warranty period. Dish tv executive never give you proper response.

                                    To customers of Dish Tv - 15 days back Dish TV service person by name Dinakaran mobile number - [protected], Pradeep mobile number -[protected] and Pream mobile number -[protected], Dinakaran in the process of servicing dish Tv stolen my imported expensive pen Scheffer RS 3500 worth and got back from him after police enquire and case. The three people who are useless and unfit to the organisation and their names with mobile numbers are registered with the Karnataka police so that they will be front line in replying to police enquirers. Please see that if any service or installer comes from Dish TV, kindly enquire with the police near to you about his background so that you will not loose valuables.
                                    My reply to dish to -Finally the pen stolen by your service person got through police and he is still in police custody. You should be ashamed that you don't even think that dealer is apart of you business. What sort of an organisation you have with people full of thieves. It s pity that you never bothered to to know that the customer is many time has value When he talks,

                                        I am a Dish TV customer since 2006 and my VC number is [protected], It has been observed that the DishTV discontinue the viewing channel without intimating any reason to customer. The customer care representative also do not give any satisfactory replay. For the example.
                                        Earlier Dishtv discontinue the channel "TARA Bangla" without any reason and recently they have discontinue the "CTBN bangla" from the package.
                                        Moreover the amount taken for this package has not also been adjusted with extra days in the my validity.
                                        I am objecting the same and management of dish tv is requested to do the needful

                                        Please make broadcast all channel in your service which are available in India, so as to customer to choose out of the same and pay for it. Your marketing department should not decide the channel to be shown as per the profit ratio and also do not make any group/package for any channel. All the Channel must be available as the single channel with its cost. You can make a minimum number of channel to be chosen criteria in your package.
