    dishtv is offering a scheme that recharge for 2 months and get upgrade pack for first month,so i recharge for 2 months and now their saying you have to register your mobile number and have to update in every 2 months,and because of not registring my mobile number i cant get these benefits,but im using dishtv for more than a year and i have registered my mobile no that time and from that time i have no problems with it,but this time dishtv people are giving me these reasons,and i have recharged my dishtv account on 15/6/2011 for 2 months and i get those benefits that time and they reply me by sms that i will get benefits in 24 hours for first month,it means my mobile number was registered,so thats why im saying they have cheated with me,so please help me out with this problem,THANK YOU.

      I paid to the Local vendor for recharge for 03 months He received Rs. 2200 ( PKR ) But my connection has been broken twice since[protected].

      The Name of the vendor is Naveed Ch & outlet Name: Banian Electronics Saddar Bazar Kharian Cantt.(Pakistan )

      Please solve my complaint.

        I have paid my Platinum package renewal amount of Rs.700/- on 29.07.11, which was due on 29.07.11, Bill no.1578, at Dish TV Service Centre(KANAKA DURGA DISH NET WORK, Old Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam(A.P.). My VC No.[protected], residing at Visakhapatnam.Even after my payment, it was not remitted to Dish TV, which in turn disconnected the next day at 9.00 AM. After repeated followup he has paid only Rs.350/- and connection was restored. I have called back again and asked him for the balance amount, which he has not remitted.After repeated followup only Rs.335/- was remitted only on 03.08.11.To my surprise my next due which was supposed to be 29.09.11, is 23.09.11 though I have paid Rs.700/- before due date.By this I am loosing a week with no fault of mine.I am having Dish TV connection for more than 5 years and every time I am paying in time. Pl.look into this and change my next due date as 29.09.11. If required I shall send scaned copy of receipt. Hoping for a favourable reply.

          I received a call from your side[protected] on my Mobile No. on dated 05th August 2011 at around 13.37 hrs. I was told that you have a "Scheme" for me. You told me the Scheme that if a recharge for one year, I will get Platinum Pack @ 175/- per month. My husband Mr. Davinder Garg again confirmed the scheme from his phone no. on you phone no.[protected] at around 19.00 hrs on dated 05th August 2011 and you again confirmed about the scheme. Accordingly we recharged at around 19.30 hrs on same date i.e 05.08.2011 for Rs. 2100/-. We again informed about the recharge to your on your phone[protected] at around 20.00 hrs. You confirmed the recharge of Rs. 2100/- and informed that the scheme of one year Platinum Pack will be activate within next 24 hrs. my Husband again contacted you at your phone no.[protected] from his mobile no. after 30 hrs. Then you told that the "Scheme" of one year Platinum Pack was not applicable to our VC No. [protected]. What is this?
          First you informed us about the scheme. Then again you Confirmed about the scheme. Then again you confirmed about the activation of the scheme in next 24 hrs. Now you are saying this scheme of One Year Platinum Pack at 175/- per month is not applicable to us.

          This is nothing but a daytime Fraud, Cheating, Misrepresentation by You. You are advised to honour your promise of scheme of One Year Platinum Pack at 175/- per month immediately

            Dear sir,
            I purchased two dishtv from dishTv. At the time of sale the sales person told me that the deal includes:
            1. 2- SetTop Boxes
            2. 2-DishTV
            3. Installation.
            4. Two months free subscription (Gold Pack) for both the connections.
            Next day two people came to me from their service franchisee and they installed two set top boxes. But they didn't recharged my connection.Because of which I am not able to avail the service for which I paid. After that I am regularly calling the dishTV sales dealer and the service dealer and the dishTV customer care.
            Sales Dealer and Service Dealer don't pickup the phone and if they pick then they said they completed their work.
            Customer Care people says that we hadn't recieved your SAP form so we can not register your complaint.

            Details of Service Dealer: Appolo Airworld
            ([protected], [protected]).


            They took 2500/= from me, which is a total loss for me. Also I am calling them regularly but they are not picking up the phone.

            I want my money back. As I feel dishTV is not a reliable company. They are incapable of providing the service. I feel they can't provide the services to me. I request you to please get mu hard earned money.

              Problem : Not getting many channels despite being part of my subscription (like CNBC, Zee, star, Sony etc)

              After switching on the TV & set-top box, many channels (as stated above) do not come. Sometimes these channels come after 15-20 minutes & some times not even many hours. However, some channels like ETC, DD channels, Audio channels comes immediately.

              I contacted customer care many times but they have not been able to solve the issue. This issue is now present for almost 10 days.

              Now I really getting fed-up with the problem. Request you to look in to the matter immediately & do the needful

              Dish TV — Channels Not coming after payment

              I Pranlal Bhagwanji Maru VC No. [protected] have been complaining since 15 th April, my compliant numbers are 57396086, 57442354, 57450585, 57455689, 57466519, 57485655, for which no action has taken till now, we are getting message on the TV " Recharge your dish tv to avail services" my recharge expires on 5 th of May, 2011.

              All my signals on the set top box are more than 70%, I have taken my Set Top Box to dealer on 16 th of April,2011, there also same message "Recharge your dish tv to avail services" coming , I have lost up to 70 Rs, on phone calls for complaints and four days premium without watching the TV, Please advice what I need to do in order to get your services at earliest.

              at about 6 pm i got a message on my cell phone saying my complain is resolved but this not true ... i am facing the same problem after changing my set top box ... i want serious action to be taken as this is the 4th day after innumerable complains ... the problem has not been solved ... your promise of sending a technician has not been kept.. is this how you treat a Senior citizen who is 84 years old and has only entertain in life through television ??? this was not expected from your company ..

              DishTV — Channels Not Coming

              I have upgraded the DishTv service from SD to HD and assured was the service of all channels will be coming on the same day. Payments are collected in Cash. But after 3 days there is no service I have made several calls to the dealer & DISHTV but no service. It is cheating the consumer directly.

                I brought dish tv rayachoty kadapa district, AP. now its working in piler, chittoor district, AP. On 24.07.10 my father inlaw paid Rs.750 and got recharge coupon. He is not well aware about the recharge. retail shop owner scratched the card and recharged. shop owner told that it is pay 6 and get 7 offer card. He given scratched card also. But they disconnected for 5 months only. Now when we ask him, he is not giving proper answer. simply escaping. Now what to do? Please do justice.

                    Dish TV was being upgraded online to HD connection, which requires 72 hrs and no one neing turned up.

                    After activating HD connection it was found that wring STB was provided to us, which led to deactivation of all channels even after paying charges for HD and new STB.

                    After calling everytime we get an answer like "Engineer shaam ko aa jayegaa", but its being 2 weeks now and people switch off their phones after trying to call them.

                    None of them are aware about their services, as confirmed by head office at noida no up-gradation can be done from local DISH TV providers which was unknown by Ravi enterprises at Airoli branch Navi Mumbai.

                        I have lodged six (6) complaint regarding my dish tv is not properly working and it operates hardly of one hour maximum but Dish Tv customer care did not care seriously. I was completely mentally harrased. Every time my complained is get resolved without provide any solution hence every time I lodged new complain with the status of my complained is closed without providing solution but the Dish Tv team is so lazy they did not care. I have put a complain on Dish Tv site also but this is also ignore. Lastly I had to take connection from local service provider. Please find all the complaint numbers which I have lodged in Dish Tv and I got confirmation on my mobile also.

                        DishTV — not resolving complaints

                        i own a settop box dth of dishtv since january 2008.since last month i am facing this problem of alignment.complaint for the same was registered on 23 september but nobody solved the problem so far many a requests have been taken but nobody turns up.financail implication of 445 on payment towars dishtv and 500 on contacting customer care

                          I have logged a complaint regarding the installation of dish TV on sunday at 9:13 am (Complaint Number[protected]. They told me that a your problem will solve within 24 hours. But no one has actually came to install the dish tv as 35 hours has already passed, since i logged the complaint regarding the same. More over i received a call from pune regarding the installing but yesterday i have already given my new address of Noida. I made so many calls to the customer care at[protected], but they are not providing the solution. The customer care support is pathetic. They have already wasted my several hours over the phone, i made several call to them, but again they are waste.


                          This kind of work attitude will leads to customer dissatisfaction and you will loose potential customers. Really PATHETIC SERVICE.
                          I strongly recommend you, Please do not but DISH TV.

                          After installation and activation i am not able to see any extra channel except free to air.20 days have been passed i am keep calling local dealer regarding the issue and they r just in trend to say "pls put ur set on for 24 hrs then u will got all the chaanel " but its all in vain.same response i have got from customer care which usually keep on circulating call to one person to another .Its very harsing that more than the cost of pakage i am spending in calling these customer carelocal dealer.Th service is very pathetic if compay can not provide support to their product then they should not be lauched in market.

                          I called DISH tv customer care few days back(last Saturday) & got my e-mail registered so that i log in your website. It was supposed to be registered within 24 hours but it is almost 120 hours & my e-mail has not been registered.

                          I paid one months subscription(300) through easy bill on MONDAY & till date my dish tv connection has not been restored.
                          My wife in last two days has launched this complaint twice.

                          I am a regretfull customer & waiting for TATA SKY to offer an exchange scheeme so that i dump my dish tv services & get TATA SKY instead.

                          I raised one complain for Signal Problem to their customer service. They claim that within 48 hours it will be resolved. Now it's more than 60 hours and i did not get any call from them. I used to call them daily 3-4 times but no response. My complain no is :13475565, i raised it on 27th May morning at 9 AM. Today its is 29th and time is 9 pm. I just talked to customer service and i'm shocked to hear that this complain was resolved and a new one got created and that will be take another 24 hours. Their service is pathetic and they dont care about consumer. If they cant provide service then they should atleast return their money. They are causing mental agony to consumer. I dont know to whom i should contact to get my money back. I'm so annoyed that i dont want their service and dont recommend anyone to go for Dish Tv service.

                          Unfortunately, I am a DISH TV subscriber. I purchased dish tv in big bazar scheme of Rs. 999. I have been regularly paying the monthly subscription before due date but since installation this system never worked and I never viewed any channel for which I had subscribed.

                          We have lodged various complaints and after rigorous follow up dish tv mechanic had come to set things right but till date they are not successful.

                          Yesterday some gentleman called up and assured to visit our residence by 3.00 p.m. but he never turned up. He only kept us waiting at home.

                          I request DISH TV management to personally look into my problem. They can come and have on the spot check of the working of their system.

                          Since last three days I am not able to view any channel whereas I have already paid the subscription for 6 months.

                          I once again request DISH TV people to set the things right otherwise I have no other option but to approach consumer court for redressal of my problem.

                          I am connected with DISH TV for a long period of time.

                          My last payment was of Rs 400 via credit card from my BSNL no[protected] and immediately after the payment i call the customer care to activate SILVER PACK on my VC no and 2 A LA CARTE worth Rs 40 which were free with my payment.

                          Despite of my phone call they activated Platinum Pack without my consent.

                          Again i call up customer care that they activated wrong package, they replied we will correct it in few hours.
                          Somehow the deduct Rs 40 and changed my plan.

                          I want to know for what my Rs 40 payment is deducted when i requested for SILVER PACK.
                          Further they are saying no free A LA CARTE this time.

                          Is this my reward for the attachment with DISH TV for such a long time.
                          Kindly Deactivate my dish tv service right after my due date as there is no listening even after my so many phone calls. I do not want to continue with such pathetic service.

                          This is with reference to the complaint I logged on 06/06/2009 having reference number 26004046. My complaint was that my set top box is not functioning and does not turn on. This complaint was attended on 23/08/2009 that too after repeat calls to the highly inefficient customer service department.

                          This is just one of the problems I am highlighting and the list is endless and I believe the problems will end only when I throw the Dish TV Boxes out of my house. I wonder if there is any Dish TV subscriber who is even marginally satisfied.

                          This is highly unprofessional on Dish TV’s part as ever since I have bought Dish TV it is not a feeling on leisure and enjoying the product but rather it has been a torture, harassment, financial loss. I have been spending more than my Dish TV subscription fee on my phone bill just to call customer care of Dish TV and have been made to wait for more that 1-2 hours just to get in touch with your customer care which is no care at all and rather Customer SCARE Centre. I have all the records in this regard. All this unpleasant experience really urges me to say that so called India’s no.1 DTH service is really pathetic and not only service the product itself is pathetic. I have no choice but to stick with Dish TV as I have made my payments in advance which is denied as refund to me if I wish to discontinue with Dish TV. My elderly parents who are senior citizens have no source of entertainment as this so called entertainment gadget of yours has become a pain in their life and in no way has performed as a mode of entertainment for them but mental torture as all the time they are busy calling you in hope of good. Every time there is a weather change they have to pay money in order to re-align the dish. So actually it’s their fault when it’s raining, when it’s windy, when the sun comes out, when the moon shines.

                          I would term this unprofessional attitude of Dish TV as criminal, cheating and fraud.

                          All this frustration caused due to your acts has forced me & my family not to recommend your product to any one and anyone who get a chance to see this complaint (which I will be postings on various sites and other modes) it is my request that please don't even let a thought of Dish TV come to your mind if your need peace in your life.

                          Let me start with my pain points:

                          1. I am a customer of Dish TV and exploited one.
                          2. Till you system works, its great but any extraordinary requriement/request is a pain. e.g ordering MOD
                          3. You technical service is "Horrible", "Pathetic " in all sense.
                          4. You customer care team, has only pre-prescribed statements to answer to customer and even some time don't know how to talk.
                          5. When they transfer their call to their seniors, seniors behave in funny manner...they pick up phone and say that they are not able to hear properly. this happened multiple times and happened today on 24.10.2009 at 3.35 PM when i called for an outstanding complaint (due since 10.Oct 2009). He (Sriram) pretended that that they are not able to hear while the first person (Manish) who received the call had clear communication.


                          I have this connection since May 2008. Whenever i have to call your customer care number [protected], it has been extremely horrible experience. Whenever i ordered Movie on Demand (MOD) it gets affected after 24 Hrs.

                          Recently i paid subscription for one year (valid till Oct 2010- biggest mistake ) and every day-
                          1. I switch on my TV i have to read the message "renew your subscription to avail the service" for few minutes and then it goes off, of its own.
                          2. Dish TV BOX behave erratically some times, it shows messge that check your VC card.
                          3. Some time TV has no signal from DISH TV Box.

                          I have complaint for this on 10 Oct 2009, repeated on 14/15 Oct 2009 as no one could attend this complaint. Later on i again complaint on 16th/17th/18th and 19th Oct 2009 as no one turned up. I have to live with the POOR performance of DISH TV. Every time i called i was asked to do some drills like switch on /off set top box, remove cable, insert cable and remove/insert card. but problem could not be solved. Once a suggestion was given to do all these things every day (funny technical advise).

                          Later on 21st Oct 2009, a guy came home and he had some other drill to do i.e. check signal...and he did some thing and went off. I got sms that complaint is resolved. However to my expectation, it was no change.

                          I complaint again on 22nd Oct 2009, 23.oct 2009 was told that after doing all above drills that technician will visit within 6 working hours. (However defination of working hours is not known to any one). Today (24.Oct 2009), i got an SMS that mr. Mayur will visit me at 12.00 PM on 24.10.2009 and a number was given. After waiting for hours i called on the number given in SMS and was told that the complaint is there, but technician will not come for next two days and was also told that such SMS'es are usual.

                          It took 12 days for Dish TV to send a technician who could not solve problem...what a customer service.

                          when i call the Dish TV customer care , i was told that technician wll visit me within 6 hours from 9.30 AM. The person on customer care was not even aware that 6 hours have passed by (as i called at 3.33 PM).. on my query to confirm till when the working hours will last the person has no answer, he even mentioned that technical department can only confirm and he has no clue. Then he transeferred this call to his senior (Mr. Shriram), who pretended that voice is not clear and tried to handup the phone..

                          I am fed up of calling this customer care of DishTV as they have standard answers:

                          1. Aapko batana chaunga.
                          2. Set of drills as mentioned above.
                          3. No specific commitment and confidence in resolution.

                          To summarize, i am fed up of PATHETIC Service of DISH TV...and request you to please let me know, when this problem can be solved. I am going to again call today at 8.30 PM, if technician does not come. But i am sure that my problem will not be resolved.

                          I decided to take an additional connection to my existing dishtv connectio, I informed this to the person who called me after I sent "call me" message to 57575 on 15th October. Those people came and installed a new connection instead of added on connectionon 16th October 2010. When the service engineers came for installation then also I kept on telling them i don't want a new connection I just want a child connection. They said ya ya it is a child connection only and you will receive all the channels that you see on the parent connection. But on 20th October I realised I can't see all the channels in my new connection and I again called up the customer care no. and they said its a new connection not a child.whne I recharged my new connection then they charge 100 /- extr for having HD connection which they never mentioned as mandatory before taking the connection.

                          I rasied so manu complain and even sent mail to customercare/escalation ..but all gave me some [protected]@#$#.

                          and now they are telling me to take another connection as child connection..they are just here for cheating customer and making money
                          My name is somaiah.CM and i have taken an Dish TV connection in my fathers name, Mr. Muthanna.CM (VC code: [protected]) say about 4 to 5 years back. The service they are providing is really bad service , every time i call the customer care service they put me on hold for 15 to 20 minutes without any reason even in case of recharge too. When we opt the language as English in the IVR, the executive who attends the call is unable to speak nor understand English. Every time i recharge my account with ITZ cash card through the customer care service i need to inform them about the extra channels which is already there in my package to be activated. The remote controller which has been given is no more working nor the set top box is functioning properly.
                          I had similar problems with exactly the same dealer. I took a new connection and this guy did not activate it even after 5 days. Then I couldn't track him down coz he wouldn't return my calls. These guys ask for the Pin Code as if there is one set dealer per area but actually they just send it out to everyone and and anyone can come and make a fool out of you. Finally one other dealer was kind enough to track down my dealer code (something that customer care couldn't do) and through that I was able to lodge a complaint against the dealer for no activation.
                          Must say, Dish TV setup really sucks!! Highly unproffessional organization and clueless customer care!! They never have any idea what to do, just keep on repeating the problem rather than offering a solution.
                          HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

                          Got a DISH HD connection on August 8. On returning home on Aug 22 found no signal. Registered a complaint on same day with promise of restoration within 24 hrs (seeing TATA Sky service believed it). The next day tech calls up fix up time for 6:30 pm and does not turn up and keeps mobile switched off. Aug 23 day 3 another tech calls up, fixes up time for 6:30 pm does not turn up and on calling responds that he has other calls and does not know.

                          Day 3 call up call center and they say we will fix it in 24 hrs again.

                          Day 4, they say ticket is closed since problem is resolved as they cannot send tech @ 8 pm. Well for installation and taking money they could send the person 9 pm also.

                          Day 4 and 5 ask for the nodal officer number, they can't give it since it is very confidential (who says only govt agencies are bad, here is perfect example of how the priavte companies work).

                          I would like to discontinue with the servcie and get my money back.

                          NEVER EVER TAKE DISH TV SERVICE. shoudl sue SRK for his lousy ADS.

Or that they promised us in order to watch.our teams 90 miles they were working on it removing the blackouts. What has being done since late April? Somebody here says email the dish support address. We have talked to people at dish yes actually talked to humans at dish. How is a response in black letters going to help is better than talking to a actual person. It won’t.                             Logged a request for re-installation on 2 Jul 2011, ref no[protected], has not been re-installed as of today 11 Jul 2011, not even getting a call back on sending DISHTV CALL ME to 57575.
                            Got a call from technician, got a time fixed; stayed back till 10:30 AM (delayed mt office). At 10:30 called the technician only to know that he is sicks and has dropped the plan of coming today. Same day 1:30 PM tech. calls me to tell I am at your location, obviously I could not have gone back just for the sake of getting a dish connection installed from my work (not aware if he was really there). Now even the customer care not responding to Call requests to 57575.
                            Please consider after sales before buying a DISHTV (Zee group). I will try my luck with some locally available technician, thanks to dish tv for their great customer service.

                            The complaint has been resolved, the antena reinstalled. After regestring complaint on the consumercomplaint site got a call from DISHTV for an immediate resolution. The resolution was not smooth but still completed. The story was again same, got an appointment fixed with the tech for 13th Jul 10:15 AM on 12th Jul, but he was not there on time, gave a call to him, then sent a call request to 57575, talked to the executive for 2-3 mins put on hold for 5 mins, talked to some other supervisor for 3-4 mins explained the story, put on hold for 7 odd mins. Technician arrived 12:15 PM, installation done by 1:00 PM. Lost half day from office. Now need to check if DishTV extends the validity by the number of days they took get the reinstallation done (2nd Jul to 13th Jul, 11-12 days), this too was promised by one of there cutomer care team member.
                            Requested for validity extension today, 14th Jul 2011, got a complaint ID and assurance of quick resolution.
                            They are not receiving a call immidiatly. we need to wait a long time even though they are not responding to our call.

                              I recharged my dishtv dth vide VC num : [protected] on 18-jun-2011 for rs. 450 through my credit card of standard chartered bank ending with 9593.

                              I opened the dishtv I.E. Dishtv.In on my mobile and it redirected to http:/M.Dishtv.In

                              I entered my VC num recharge amount and all the other details and then I was taken to the paytm gateway and from there I used the option of credit card to make the payment. I got the confirmation that the recharge is done and following details were shown on the confirmation page :

                              bank trans ID : t78211

                              but till date i.e.11-jul-2011 the recharge amount has not been credited to my dishtv account and when I contacted dishtv customer care for about 10 times and writing around 5 emails to them along with the screenshots of my credit card statement, the reply I got from them is that the transaction does not belong to dishtv as in the credit card statement its showing in the name of designer jeans - paytm noida.

                              Seeing this I contacted paytm customer care through email and even after writing about 5 emails to them I am not getting any response..

                              I encountered the same problem on same date, I think there is some major problem with dish tv payment gateway, but I am happy to say that I have been refunded entire amount of yearly subsciption with interest by hdfc bank.

                                    I contacted customer care for the installation of dishtv.My token no was 1971450.On 01 jully,service engineer came and installed dishtv.The company,who was installed the antenna was APOLLO AIRWORLD,
                                    C-15,Rajdhani Market,Tagore Garden Extn,New Delhi-110027.I have contacted 50 to 60 times and lodge complain(complain No[protected],each and every time they(customer care) telling that it will resolve ..within 24 hrs.I have also contacted the person who installed the dishtv.but no result.I had already spend 300 rupees for contacting .I HAVE PAID Rs 1411/-.cv No-[protected].They have not activated the dishtv up to now.what can i do?

                                    Got a DISH TV connection 2 days back and already repenting my decision for choosing DISH TV.
                                    Dealer who installed the connection is APOLLO AIRWORLD, Tagore Garden. My Card# is [protected].
                                    Even after 2 days they are not able to activate my connection. The worst part is that the dealer provided with three telephone numbers but nobody is picking the calls. I have tried to call them several times since morning but could not. This is not at all acceptable.
                                    I don't know what will happen to them if I will go to APOLLO AIRWORLD office and break their nose.

I bought it 8th june and install within a day but I was not able to see any channel. after many Phone call it was start within 10-12 days.                                       Hi,

                                      I had very bitter experience with DISH TV Customer care, I have been deprived off my channel services since last 10 days. Could not able to view any of channels. I have been following customer care since last 5 days proactively and continuously. Every day they said and demand for 24 more hrs. Eventually i end up with no result and paying the price of being a helpless customer. Who has around 2 years of relation with the DIST TV but being fooled with sweet pills at the time when service is required.

                                      I had Three open ticket/s with them, among three two of them they have closed by their own. even without resolving the complaint or talking to the customer.[protected][protected]

                                      So far I had words with (Mr. Abhinav Shukla, Senior Supervisior) Who had ensure me that your services will be up by 22 july itself. No response so far just sweet pills of words

                                      Then i had words with Customer care Executive Ms. Poornima, She ensure me that your services will get up by today itself, Another Sweet pill/s of words, no complaint resolve so far

                                      Then i had words with Customer care Executive Mr. Jagdeep, Who said that i don't see any complaints against your vc number in the system. When I said I am calling from last 4 - 5 days, Then he said wait let me check again...Then he find complaint/s and asked for another 24 hrs

                                      Then i had words with (Mr. Deepak Singh, Floor Supervior). He said now you have knock the right door i do understand you deeply, please give us time of another 24 hrs..Nothing happen so far.

                                      Now, You tell what shall I do...Do i remain helpless of being a customer crapped in fatal circumstances. Who have been fooled with sweet pills every then and now or by closing the complaints even without resolving them or talking to the customer. We all knows how tough is to reach a customer care executive. If fortunately you reached then they just offer you sweet pills with a promise of another 24 hrs wait and eventually put you in the bottom less hole. Now i left with no courage for hoping for a hope. But want to share the grievance along with the bitter experience i had in making the DISH TV as my preferred choice.
