My issue with hathway started on 3rd june 2020 around 8.10pm in night. My modem was not showing online & hence could not perform work from home. That when i called up hathway for the first time & they logged a ticket for me. After a wait time for 15 min i got through the hathway representative, they provided me with the solution to wait till the next day afternoon 12.00pm since someone from the technical team will resolve my issue. However no one ever contacted me on 4th june & my ticket was surprisingly closed without any resolution. I have been constantly calling hathway twice every day since 4th june 2020 and the only response i get from them is my router shows offline & someone from the technical team will assist me on this issue. There were 3 tickets logged every time i called hathway customer care & was closed without providing resolution. No one from the technical team or hathway team contacted me since 3rd june. My work has been impacted due to this due to no internet connection. I have already paid for an entire year and renewed the plan, however no one is able to fix my issue permanently. At times, the representative cuts the phone if they have to listen to the customer's grievances for a long time & the next thing i know they raise aa ticket & just close it without any resolution.

Additionally my plan is 50mbps download & 10mbps upload speed however in the past i have always faced network connectivity issue while i connect via zoom on my work calls.

I have been affected in many ways physically, mentally & emotionally. I have not been able to work from home since 3rd june 2020 effectively. This has been the worst service i have seen from hathway so far where none of the representatives were able to assist me & few of them even cut my phone while i was talking about my issues. This has certainly increased my anxiety in past few days causing irritation & being less productive too. This is certainly upsetting to see such a prestigious company treating their customers in this way.

I would like a permanent solution to this issue where my modem doesn't show offline time and again since this is causing me to call hathway customer helpline almost daily & its a sheer waste of time. If anyone can visit my place or even guide me via a phone call to achieve a resolution that would be great.

Also the connection should work based on my speed, i understand number of people does influence the speed but this should not be a hindrance for anyone to work from home.

    I am suffering from last 2 weeks network connectivity lost daily i just use max 8 hour after that internet connectivity is lost.

    But gtpl has no any answer. Technical person even not answering properly.

      I paid a six months advance to Hathway broadband on 5/6/2020.
      Even after three days, there is no proper response from the installation team.

      Hence I requested them a refund by calling their customer service, to which they responded it would take around 45 days to get the refund.

      I don't know which company in the world takes this long to refund the payment.

      Please refund the paid amount to the source as soon as possible.

        I have vacated bangalore from 3 months telling them to discnnect line. Still everyday they call and torture asking same questions.. Renew service. Banstard doesnt have any request form to disconnect connection on portal.. Hence we ae not able to submit request cancellation.. Please take serious action this company

          Promises a 50 mbps line. Download speed rarely above 1.5 mbps. If you raise complains on their online customer service portal, the tickets are being closed by the customer service without any redressal. Customer service helpline does not have a waiting system and the phone disconnects stating the number is busy, please try later. This message is heard no matter when you call them. Once you have purchased their product, there is absolutely no way of getting in contact with them for any service related issues. When you raise a complaint online, after submitting, you cannot even look at the ticket's description. There is no transparency whatsoever.

          They have been maintaining a monopoly in our area. A couple years ago, when we inquired for a connection from other smaller isps, they have complained that their cables seem to get cut every time they start providing service.
          Even bigger telecoms like airtel and jio are unable to setup shop in our area. They are able to provide their service all over mumbai but they do not provide service in our area.
          Monopoly is dangerous for competition and hathway has been doing it for a few years now. As a result, every member in our building is frustrated by the service provided by hathway and want to change their isp, but because of monopoly, there is no other isp available to us.

            Hi, yesterday i have gave a complaint on hathway internet service vide complaint number 2637962, today morning i received a call from hathway mentioning that they will refund the amount to bank account and close the complaint immediately and mentioned that currently the bank servers are not working related to icici and hdfc, please provide someother bank. So i gave my sbi card details to him, he initiated a transaction to debit the amount of 467 from mumbai airtel digital payment and money got debited from my account. I am not sure why from hathway the complainted hailed to airtel digital payment and this guy who called on behalf of hathway mentioned about my complaint id and the transaction id used for payment and has debited amount from my sbi card. Please help me with refund of whole amount of 2 complaints lodged.

              Mr anil employee of hatchway has mislead me that there is a feasibility in your area for connection and later one i got to know that there is no feasibility in my area and mr. Anil executive is not lifting my call after the bill payment. And i contacted customer care executive about my amount refund they told me that it takes about 30 to 45 days i want my amount asap please help me in this i can wait already its 8th day after the payment

                From last thursday 4 june, i am not able to connect to internet and worst customer care as they have not resolved issue till today, when i called the hathway customer care on 4th june they raised a ticket 04062020w212886 and it was closed automatically on 5th june without any resolution. Frustrated with this i called again on 5th june and they raised a new ticket 05062020w212886 and after this i was not allowed to call customer care for 24 hrs as the automated message says its in progress and will be resolved in 24 hrs but nothing was resolved. On 6th june when i called back they said they will escalate issue and i will get a call back but neither i got any call nor the issue is resolved. I am working from home currently and this is having severe impact on my office work. I expect a resolution by tomorrow else want to disconnect the service.

                  Dear sir,

                  I am looking for an internet connection to my home, i have gone through some advertisements and raised a connection request for hathway. I got a call from their representative and they took my location using whatsapp location to confirm if there are lines available in my area. Post that after an hour, i got a call from hathway mentioning that lines are available and please proceed with payment first, then we will send team to do cabling and the connection. It is said within 48 hours of payment i will get the connection. Its been 96 hours and on continuous complaining to the team, got call from them mentioning that no cables are present in your locality and they will do the work once lock down is completed.

                  I would request you to take necessary action and help me with getting back the money.

                    Hathway broadband customer care team is not reachable - either all india or chennai. Raised complaint on 3rd june. No one cares. It is still not resolved. Their services are good until any technical problem arises. When it happens it is a big ordeal to get it resolved. Worst customer care.

                    Both chennai & all india customer care numbers are not functioning. Sent mails too which did not elicit any response.

                      The issue that i have experienced was: its has been 6th day since i made payment to hathway for new connection. But they did not respond yet, and even they are not picking the phone calls, not responding to emails, even i send a mail to telanagana nodal officer 2 days back, but there is no response yet.

                        My hathway account no is [protected] and i request the company to disconnect my services immediately years back because of relocation. I had also submitted a letter regarding this in their office but still, i am receiving lots of messages and call for plan activation and renewals as i have stopped using their internet connection already.

                            Hi, my name is rohit, hathway wifi connection is very poor. Since 2 months i am facing very poor connection. I called hathway customer care service in mumbai. When i called for one day they solve the issue and very next morning i faced same issue again and again. So please kindly disconnect the connection and refund my money.

                                I have requested for my broadband termination since i was relocated to my hometown since may 27, 2020. Despite being informed them for the termination via mail, call and yet they call me continuously for the renewal of the account which is like harassing mine personal time. I am continuously requesting for the termination of the account and no response from the company side except the calls for my renewal.
                                Kindly look into this and sort out my issue asap.

                                  Upgraded plan to 60 mbps since then executive hasn't picked up calls for my complaints against speed which has been 10 mbps at best. Cheating company. No response from customer care or executives. Waste of money and more inconvenience.
