I bought water heater from havells last year (27 dec 2017) and it broke down on september 15.
I contacted the havells customer care to register the complaint.
Their engineer came and detected the flaw and the solution was to replace the product. Engineer also placed a sticker on the water heater which states the fault.

Today (28 sep 2018). I got a mail stating that my issue is resolved and product is replaced.
I still have the faulty product a my home and neither havells nor their dealer is not responding to any of the calls. When asked the dealer they are replying with some vague reasons.

Havells need to compensate for causing so much confusion and disturbing state of mind by the them and their dealers

The Said Customer Center of yours is not ready to replace the product and i am tired of pursuing your dealer and your dirty business of shoving off defected products to consumer and not replacing it within warranty. I think i have to raise the concern to Consumer Court.

    Dear sir mam there is manufacturing fault in this fan, i am user of havells product for last ten years. But i never had i complait regard my old product or i never need to face havells customers care before first. If i face first then i never buy product from havells in future, but by mistakely the product purchased by me of havells of enticers fan which has manufacturing fault in its. A cap of fan broken in box. I have complaint in customers care many times for this, i am complaing for ths past 4 month, is this actually havells india customers care to do process so slow. I have registered 3 times for the same reason. Excutive also come to my place 2 times but part has not changed. Now new issue the fan creating for last 10 days its making noising sound when i run it on one number slower. Plz replace my fan if it is impossible to solve the problem by havells india customers care excutive. Dear havells your customers care representatives are not responsive to their customers, plz change the staff if they not eligible to listen customers problem. My last complaint no registered with u is (hi121111) plz check my all complaint record. Or solve this as soon as possible.
    First excutive who visited to my home his m.No is [protected] and the second one is [protected] and the third one mr. Sunil kumar has not given any response who is registered with complaint no (hi121111), the third one i registered on urgent basis, i had received message on 12-9-18 that mr sunil kumar finally come to my home to resolve my problem but today is[protected] i think is hard to reach my home for havells excutive to visit in 12 no of days is excutive come from to delhi or from to other country.

      I complaint book on 20th september 2018. Complaint no is hi201181 dt.20.9.2018. I several time called your toll free number. Nobody responded properly and nobody come and attend the falt. This is your costomer service. I purchased the product one year back. I purchased the other brand product ten years back. Thers is no falt in this product. Your sales people only recomended your product (Havells oron box). That is a main mistake. I purchasethe brant.

      My Juicer Mixer Grinder is not working properly. I bought this from flipkart.com on date Wed, Aug 22nd '18. This heat very much during mix. Please solve my issue as soon as possible. It's warranty 2 Years on Product, 5 years on motor. I think problems are coming in Motor. Please check.

        I bought two havells fan from itbp canteen dehradun., only after seeing the lucrative but hopeless advertisement from havells.
        After opening the two boxes, i found that the caps of one of the fan is missing in box. I went to the canteen where i was introduced to a havells company representative, who called up in company and lodged my complaint, giving me an assurance that their team will come and fix the issue.
        However, now the team allotted is giving an excuse that it's not their problem and i should ask the itbp canteen to replace.
        Both representatives are just avoiding their duty and ruining the name of company as well as trust which i had.
        A pathetic customer support and all fake promises. Buying havells is like buying a chinese product, if it works well and good otherwise the customer will suffer.
        At least chinese products are not this expensive as the money havells claim for their products. Poor show, total disappointment.

          I have bought a havells exhaust fan for my bathroom 2 weeks back and it is making a hell lot of a noise while switching on and off, which is unusual. I have logged in a complaint on sep. 13th (Call no. Hi32251) and no one has come to attend to the issue till now. I have made at least 10-15 calls to the customer service number and every time i am assured that a technician will come to visit the next day. However, this does not happen. I spoke with mr. Dheerendra shukla, the supervisor on sep. 17th and he assured me that a technician will come to my place at 10 a. M. On sep. 18th. However, no one came in today and when i tried reaching to the customer service (Spoke with venkatesh), he could not transfer me to mr. Shukla saying there is a technical problem (Called 5 times today!). I am totally frustrated at the pathetic customer service by havells and their unprofessionalism at attending to complaints after a product has been sold. I need a replacement of this product or a complete refund of my money for the time that i have wasted chasing them to fix an issue! This is disgusting and i would urge no one to buy their products again!

            We bought 30 hp motor from m/s nanak electric store, kanpur. This motor has a manufacturing defect and we request you to replace immediately. This motor has a problem right from the beginning like heating of motor, tripping, drawing more current etc. Only ten days have been passed, since the installation of fume extraction unit and due to this motor, complete set i failed.               It is been 2 months that I am trying to get this induction cooker repaired. I have raised multiple complaints with Havells. Last time their customer care executive was unprofessional. She can't even speak smartly. She couldn't give me address of the service centre in Vizag. Somehow I reasserted the same complaint which I have already lodged online with her. She assured me that problem will be resolved in 48 hours. However their technicians do not have any respect for time. They take appointment and turn up according to their own time. Sometimes they don't even come. Buying this product itself was a mistake. Can't tolerate this harassment any more. I am looking for a resolution.

                Running a ssi unit, bought electric motor for machinery. Gave a complaint to havells call center as motor stopped running. But nobody turned up even third day. That means we need to stop working and keep waiting for the havells technician to come and decide. And we need to face losses which costed more than price of the motor. It is better to buy local motors as we can get two motors at this total cost. And upon that we had to even loose orders.

                I have used havells switches for lighting controlling some 5A and 15A switches problems. It surprised that this type ur switched is not caliber for long life only 2yrs.                   This issue is pertinent to the newly purchased havells instantio 3ltr geyser (Water heater)

                  2 case ids created in havells

                  042839 - primary case id
                  045778 - follow up case id

                  I need to consolidate both the cases, and keep the primary case id open (I. E. 042839)

                  I have registered issue against newly purchased havells instantio geyser (Purchase date - 2nd september). Post installation the geyser started the leak hence i registered a case. The service engineer ramesh visited from shree charbhuja services at 9:30 pm ist and after opening the geyser and doing some fixation the issue still did not resolved and he stated that the problem is with regards to the plate inside the geyser which is a “design default” and i need to call customer support to get the replacement. I have been trying to call the toll free number since morning and the customer support executives put me on hold for 15-20 mins and still no signs of courtesy acknowledgement and expect me to hear the ivr tune for that long, it happens thrice and i was waiting for 15plus minutes on all the three calls. There were had few other calls made when the exectives simply disconnected the call on my face, so the conclusion is i have got no real assistance and i have wasted good 90 mins with no one to really provide real information or assurance of any fix. I need an urgent call asap from the manager with advise or i am launching a consumer case against this defective piece and the way the customer support has been handling the case

                    I've been complaining about this issue from over 2 months, more than 8 times i've just been said.. Your problem will be resolved soon and nothing else. After around 1.5 month a technician visited from havells. He committed to rectify it in 3 days as he needed to buy a new part to replace the damaged one and from last 20 days we're waiting for him to repair our otg but there's no sign of him.

                    You're requested to solve our issue at the earliest.

                      My complaint number is 88271122.
                      This complaint was registered with you on 27 august 2018 and same problem request was registered with you earlier on 17 august 2018. Till date we did not get any resolution yet.
                      After complaint on 17 august. Your executive visited my home to solve the issue. That complaint was for two geyser. One geyser he was repaired and it started working and for other geyser he opened it & told us that"senser is not working" we need to replace it. I said ok him. He told us not to worry. He was come and repair it without doing again complaint & same day the complaint was closed. I was received this message. On faith we were agree that he would do it. We were continuously chasing him (His mobile number is :[protected]). He said yet the sensor yet not came from "kanpur"so, he had requested to change the geyser & told us wait for 2 to 3 days. It was come and we will fix it.
                      Till now nobody have contacted me to resolve my problem. When i was calling your customercare number ([protected]) replied us that we would send urgent reminder to the engineer to resolve this problem but till today. We are chasing it but no one had taken initiative to inform us what was the problem.
                      I think they were waiting for warranty get expired and then they will say sir it is out of warranty. We can't do anything.
                      I was listened that havel's have good quality and after sales service but if this was the way to handles customer. I am sorry to say but you are loosing your brand image in customer sight.

                      I am writing this mail with a hope that somebody senior person will attend this and resolve this issues.

                        Please rectify following two problems;
                        1) geyser earthing wire is not connected
                        2) three pin plug is to be installed because previously geyser was repaired and your service person has connected it with only two naked wire.
                        Due to these naked wire connection we are feeling electric shocks in the sanitary fittings (Water tap) of the bathroom.

                          We have purchased havells geyser on saturday, 25th sept and we have been told that company person will come for geyser installation but till 29th sept no one came neither contacted for installation.
                          Even we tried to call the person no from the shopkeeper where we purchased the product still no luck person either says we will send someone/ someone will contact you after these 4 days of struggle finally one person came today 30th sept for installation who has just drilled the area and hanged up the geyser that's it — was that the meaning of installation? And he was saying for other fittings pay more 500inr to make it functioning.

                          I'm surprised because for me as customer installation is something to make it till functioning of the product. This cant be the acceptable from havells.
                          I would have preferred other technician rather than this useless installation from company.

                          Sir I installed your coral model switch at my home in 2012. So there are 25 to 30 switch are damage or not working so please replace them

                            Issue not being resolved even after your tech visited my place 5 times within a month. Techs do not have enough knowledge of the product and do not carry proper tools and request for screwdriver etc from customer. Ref.HH281843 and HG306223.
                            There is no proper cancel to get the issue highlighted then your ticket raising mail id.
                            Please look into this and if possible share your escalation matrix if any.

                              I have purchased the Havells wall fan Model no Swanky 16 inches on 28 April 2018 from Kumar Electric Corporation, Tilak Nagar New Delhi-110018 Invoice no is R1302454 Dated 28 April 2017,

                              It is stopped working three times and havells representative from Jagdamba service center replaced the Motor,
                              Still the motor is faulty again, I request you to please replace the Fan. It has been faulty within two months span every time, even in warranty period.

                                I raised the complaint on 31st July 2018 for after sales support for storage geyser which is in warranty and the call no HG306231 and later many follow up calls to support a technician came and taken the part which has the problem after that till now no one came.

                                Again I have done few follow ups to support and spoke to the superior and he said that day or day after definitely technician will visit and repair it.

                                One technician called and said he don't know that previously some technician visited and a part need to be replaced and he need to brought the part and he said will bring tomorrow and repair it but it is not happened.

                                Strange thing is every time new person/technician will be assigned mostly but he donot know what is status or summary of the problem.

                                We will get the call number when we raise a complaint but not the technician number. We should wait for his call.

                                    pedestal fan is not working

                                    5 months ago, i brought one havells pedestal fan. Now its not working fine. I have showed it to local fitter but it is working only for short period. Consistently it is showing same problem like working for five minutes then stop. It has some motor problem and it has 1 years company warranty.

                                    Can you please take it as high priority and resolve the issue....

                                    This is in continuation to my previous complaint (https://www.consumercomplaints.in/havells-india-havells-fan-wobbling-and-noise-...

                                    It’s been a year since i am facing continuous problems with havells fans – models are florence and troika. The worst part is the product quality and moreover the havells services. To cut the misery short below are the highly dissatisfaction points for the reference of naïve consumers who are thinking for havells products:

                                    1. Florence model
                                    Worst quality despite of high prices. Initially it has wobbling issue which was fixed after lot of struggle, then noise issues which was fixed after opening the fan machine. And finally the fan is jammed which is yet to rectify.

                                    2. Troika model
                                    It has noise issues, its plastic part over the wing looks really awesome and attracts customers, however while in operation air blows through the plastic part as a result it strikes with fan wings resulting in tik-tik noise. This is a design fault and technicians admit as well. To overcome it havells technician added a rubber washer so that plastic doesn't strike with fan wings. This somewhat (Not fully) sort out the problem but added an *risk* - the screws are loosen up very slowly - in the worst case it might cause a serious accident when fan is in operation. Now how i come to know about it. With last complaint i told technician to check the fan as tik-tik noise has started again. When he checked he told me that screws are loose that's why it is making noise and then he just tighten it. The technician himself was surprised with it since it's a huge risk.

                                    3. Services
                                    With the 3rd class quality havells will provide you pathetic services not on the technician front but also from customer support front as well.

                                    3.1 customer support:
                                    In case you want to talk to senior customer support member in order to escalate your complaint, you will have to call at least 3-5 times to havelles and every time one have to wait for 6-7 minutes. Today (24 aug 2018), at first attempt i had to call 5 times and then overall wait for 30 min before catching the senior; at 2nd attempt i called 3 times and waited for 15-20 mins.

                                    3.2 false promises:
                                    The irony is even seniors will befool you by putting false promises. They will assure you to escalate the matter and update you in an hour or so. But believe me they will hardly come back and call back you. I have been in discussion with them since 1 year and its only single time when a lady senior support member called me back otherwise the senior members are seriously irresponsible.

                                    3.3 technicians:
                                    They are seriously ridiculous. They will close your call with unbelievable reasons like customer is not having bill, he don’t want to take service, he is not picking the call etc etc. Believe me they don’t even bother to call you, instead you keep on following with them and they will not pick your call.

                                    For everyone information, i would like to let you all know that since last one year i have been raised tens of complaint without permanent solution and now finding really hard and struggling to cope up with havells services. I am seriously fed up now.

                                    Think multiple times before buying havells fans model florence and troika.

                                    Also, to be very honest, not all products are that faulty as explained above. I have purchased multiple products from havells like 2 heavy water motors, exhausts, basic model fans, wire, mcb, leds, concealed lights, water geysers etc. For my new house – all are working fine except florence and troika. Services for water pump is really good, in fact they close your complaint after taking your consent and also they call you for the feedback. Unfortunately such services are badly missed with fan support team and technicians.

                                    Just for information, sharing the complaint number (Hh166916) which is still unattended after 10 days even after multiple calls and follow ups. Now from last ten days i am forced to live without fan as florence fan is completely jam.

                                    The issue is resolved but i am bit apprehensive if it is a permanent solution or not. Since the quality of Florence fan is so poor, i am afraid if it is a long term solution. Lets hope so that there will be no more issues.

                                    Take my words - the quality of products and services to handle complaints needs serious improvements at Havells.
