    I had a credit card ending with XX9618 was expired on 5/2014. Before expiry bank told me that your renewed card will be respective billing address.
    After few weeks a HDFC credit card agent called me and informed me that my expired card will be automatically closed once I apply for a new one.So I go ahead and submitted my document.
    CC Ref NO : CC[protected].
    And I also received verification call for my newly applied card. After 2 weeks when I checked the status of the card by calling 6160 6161, they are saying that your expired card needs to be "CLOSED" by sending a letter to Chennai HO (Where I was told that, once I apply for new card expired card will be automatically close).

    As my expectation from HDFC has been deeply hurted. Please don't waste any more time with HDFC Credit Card.

      Got a 4th verification call from 'HDFC Bank' from the following number: [protected]. The person at the other end wanted my debit card number for 'verification' purposes. I am wondering why this was not asked to me in the previous 3 verification calls. Also, on one hand, I am getting mails and SMS from HDFC Bank saying that these personal details should not be revealed to anyone and HDFC bank will NEVER ask for them. Can someone tell me what is going on?

        I am (supposed to be?) a 'privileged' customer of HDFC Bank. I work for a leading MNC and after receiving calls almost everyday for credit card since there were 'special' offers going on for my company, I finally decided to opt for one. All papers have been submitted, and the 'verification' calls have also been entertained. I was called on my cell phone, residential address and office extension by 3 different people for verification purposes. It has been more than a month now, and there is no sign of the card and no updates as well. The least that HDFC can do is ONE of the following: Either give me the card OR return my papers. They should also stop telling people that they will receive the card within 10 days and stop this 'special offer' business as well. Contact me on [protected] for more details. Aditya Divadkar.

          Sub : Complaint for Home Loan Proposal : Rahul Singh
          I have submitted my home Loan proposal to you and am sorry to say that till date my loan proposal is yet not sanctioned and more than one and half months have passed I have not heard any communication in this regard. The way your office is processing my file is very annoying and irritating. Initially I was told that I will get Top Up on both my home loans and thereafter I was told that I will get only one Top up. Even then I was ready but more than one month has passed and I am not clear whether my file has been sanctioned or not. I was totally disagreed with the valuation of all my properties and has requested for revaluation and despite my request no revaluation was done on my request. About 7 days ago Your sales executive Mr Prakash Told to give Legal fees to some advocate Mr Jha for legal opinion on the property .I was surprised to note when I called Branch Manager Mr Vivek Dwivedi he told that my loan proposal has been declined. I want explanation when my loan has not been sanctioned how you have encashed my processing fees. I want my complete processing fees to be refunded and explain why this correspondence was not made to me that my loan proposal has been declined. I am sorry to say that this kind of services and treatment was not expected from a reputed organization HDFC Ltd.

            I have been using an HDFC card since 2009 I have used it for many transactions and paid them in full on correct time. It was during 2012 I have swiped my card many times and converted them to many EMI’s (6 EMI’s). As of Nov ’12 my total outstanding amount 1, 25, 700 which I have paid by Oct ’12 itself? Everything was going smooth till May ’13 suddenly I get a call from HDFC collection department stating that the amount which I have paid has been adjusted towards my Emi and I still have to pay 70K. I was shocked to hear this immediately I went to HDFC collections department in nungambakkam branch and contacted the manager (His highness Mr. Dispute Ayyanaar)> Where he explained to me that this is a issue to credit card team and amount which I have paid is correct only and remaining I need to pay of 8, 000 and asked me to contact customer care department and furthermore asked me to escalate it to “Dispute team”. When I contacted the customer care I had a chance to talk with some Abhishek (On conversing with Abhishek and His highness Mr. Dispute Ayyanaar I strongly believed that a Born lunatic stray dog is more cultured than these two) hence shouted at me like anything and said that Collection department folks will tell many lies to make you pay the amount and I should pay 70K with immediate effect and there is no such DISPUTE team present in the Customer care. On hearing which I immediately contacted His highness Mr. Dispute Ayyanaar he again yelled at me that Customer care team will never ever say like that and ordered to pay full amount of 70K I was shocked on hearing that and I asked last month you said just 8K. He again said I didn’t say anything like that. I escalated this issue as my as I can even to Aditya Puri but no use, I don’t know for what reason they are using Mailbox’s (I believe they have ruled the mailbox that if any complaints is received it should directly go to Trash) I am fed up using HDFC bank credit card and I suggest that please don’t believe in that fraudsters.

            My apologies for replying very late Mr. Bejoy, but this is for your kind information that i would have sent close to 100 mails to your mail boxes ( all the mailboxes which you may have) but no use. I believe a rule has been created in the mailbox that if you receive any mail it goes directly to the
            trash. I am really pissed of[censored]sing your services, On hearing my experience many of my colleagues have wrapped sacked trashed their respective cards and we have taken an oath never to trust any words from banks (Especially from HDFC PEOPLE). Thanks for taking your time in responding. My kind request to you people is at least try to listen to what the complaints don't just jump into things saying "HDFC is this, HDFC is that".
            And for god sake please don't let Mr great astounding dashing ravishing model "Dispute Ayyanar" to any of your clients other wise you people will land up in big trouble because of him (He and his arrogant mouth)

                HDFC bank deducted amount from my account with out any prior notification. I do not even what is this deduction and why did they deduct. Amount deducted on 26th July 2014. 3RD PARTY CASH TXN INC ST & EC 110714 I need clarification on it.

                            I would like to inform you that I have some international transfer problem because I have not received Foreign ID card. So that I have not paid June [1 EMI fully paid & another 35% paid from HDFC a/c] & July [not paid on right time but also paid Personal A/c no.: 20796718 EMI on dated 15th July 2014 through Billdesk online portal and another EMI Personal Loan Account Number: 19604667 still pending due to lack of respond from HDFC support team against my several emails.]

                            However, now i have seen in HDFC net banking a/c showing negative (-33, 792.56). Kindly clarify, How comes & why?

                            If HDFC played game with this Saving a/c then I have to close because I have no black money to paid HDFC.

                            So, I request you to kindly close this matter Immediate to running this account otherwise i have second option.

                            Many times I have writting email to concern that intimate me the contact no. of concern person from Cuttack/Bhubaneswar Area, Odisha for collect the cheque. But still nobody responded.

                            Important Notice:
                            From Next months to further, I unable to credit any single amount to HDFC a/c due to above described manipulated. So, please arrange to collect cheque/cash every months before due date from Cuttack. Odisha.

                            Kindly do the needful without any delay.

                            Totally disappointed this HDFC Bank. You can see how many times I have filed case aginst HDFC.

                                An amount of INR 393 is charged on my account this morning.
                                Transaction ID: AMB CHRG INCL ST & CESS FOR JUN2014

                                May I know what is this for?

                                Account number: I do not want to disclose it here, but HDFC is smart enough to find it out.
                                Name: Hasan Ibne Sherif
                                Branch: Hosur Road Branch (Bommanahalli), Bangalore
                                Also, HDFC is charging other components often like "SMS charges", "ATM card charges" etc. I hold accounts in other banks also and I am feeling its better to close down this account. HDFC is the worst compared to all. The maintenance charges are more compared to the amount of interests paid out on saving/deposit accounts.

                                    Dear Sir/Madam, It has been requested to close / deactivate the credit card ( [protected]) many times through different ways..but the same is not yet closed. I once again request you to close / deactivate the credit card immediately ... Some, SA Associates have sent one letter, which was not at all necessary . It is an unhealthy step from an organization of the stature of HDFC... However, since, I am a student now, and can only increase financial pain to my parents, is ready to pay the due amount through net-banking . You are requested to reply me at the below mentioned mail-id for your action on closure of the credit card .. As soon as I receive the mail, the due amount will be paid to you through i/banking and that too "UNDER PROTEST"...                                       I applied for
                                      surrender few days back, I was told that value of surrender :
                                      Rs.138918/- (One lac thirty eight thousand nine hundred
                                      eighteen rupees)

                                      I have paid Premium for 4 complete years and policy has been
                                      completed 5 years.
                                      Last 3 quarter I could not pay my premium due to my parents medical expenditure
                                      and family expenditure
                                      so due to financial needs I am surrendering this policy.
                                      I do not have any source to settle my credits so only way is to recover from
                                      this bad situation to surrender this policy.
                                      As you know I have paid premium of more than Two Lac rupees, which is HARD
                                      EARNING MONEY for my family future, I have trust the HDFC SLIC and took this
                                      policy.
                                      After seeing this surrender Quote.. I felt I have been cheated by HDFC SLIC.
                                      At least you have Quote what ever I have Paid for the 4 Years.

                                      This is really intolerable. Why I need
                                      to lose my 4 years Hard Work? ...I need to know, . Where is it going my
                                      HARD EARNING MONEY?.

                                      I NEED MY MONEY BACK AT-LEAST WHAT EVER I HAVE PAID FOR THE 4 YEARS..
                                      I kindly request you to take some action and return my PREMIUM WHICH I HAVE
                                      PAID FOR THE 4 YEARS.

                                        This complaint is against the Credit card division of HDFC credit card. In the month of September I had lost my credit card and hence blocked it.
                                        The total outstanding amount in the Credit card at that time was ~ Rs 45, 000. I cleared the entire amount together and did not apply for a new card as I got a new job and left India for training in my new career opportunity. I was stunned to see HDFC credit card still sending me bills of ~ Rs 0.88 in months of November/December 2013. I had a telephonic conversation with them Ticket Number - [protected] where they had confirmed that they have cleared some late fee that was associated with it. However, the bill clearance emails kept coming every month. Please get this straight, my credit card was blocked and I never applied for a new credit card - so technically, I did not have a HDFC credit card with me.
                                        Upon all this nuisance, where I kept writing to them to not send me bills since I was not using their service, a mail drops in March 2014 saying they have applied the annual cost of ~ Rs1600 on the card. Again, I did not have any credit card of HDFC for 6 months starting September yet they sent me this amount. I again wrote to them and spoke to them that I am not paying a cent as I have not been using their card and did not hold any credit card of HDFC. In July 2014, they sent me bills of ~ Rs 3600 mentioning I have to clear this amount. I again denied paying this amount and their escalations department reverted back to me (Mr.Arun) that their bank is looking to resolve this matter and asked me to be "patient" regarding the same. They also provided me a phone number where I was asked to get in touch in certain time slots. Every time I called them in those time slots, nobody picked up!! I even emailed them my number and asked to get in touch yet they never called. (Reference number [protected])

                                        Last week again their escalations department have written to me asking me to clear the payment without even bothering to have a conversation with me. It is very annoying that their Credit card sales department keeps calling and bugging people to sign up for credit cards and the post closure service is so so poor. I have been harrassed time and again since the last 10 months and looking for justice. HDFC bank, I had immense respect for your back with my recurring deposits, salary account, credit card everything at your service. Not only have I cancelled all those services but I will do my word of mouth to make sure nobody else suffers like me. As for me paying, I am taking this to the highest level of judiciary to find any possible reason why I should be making this payment amongst the harassment that I am going through from your bank.
