I have a salaried account in HDFC Bank. At the time of opening account, they came to my company and gave full assurance that they will also provide credit card to us. But when I, along with some of my colleagues, tried applying for it, they are continuously degrading us by saying that U are not economically stable for credit card. First time, they rejected my application saying that I do not have proper residence. But on my actual application when I saw it, was written there as "INCORRECT MOBILE NUMBER", although cont. no. was correct. Here, they were trying to misguide us as well by giving improper reasons. When I told this to HDFC agent, he again told me to reapply for it, this time I took utmost precaution and checked my application does not have any cons and shouldn't get rejected. They came for physical verification as well and approved it also.. But again, , I received a letter saying my application again got rejected. When tried calling Customer Care and asked the reason about the same, they dont even want to tell me the actual reason for the rejection. Just telling us to reapply for it after 6 months. I dont know, this is how they behave with their valuable customers. We all are planning to lodge a complaint regarding this to our Company's HR dept and dismantle their services from company.

Complaint marked as Resolved I have been called sometime after 3-4 months and offered the credit card, without much hassle. I was in doubt whether they will again do the same thing, but this time, it was pretty easy and they did and provided me within stipulated timeframe. No offence. After this, its going good with HDFC bank.
