2 weeks back I have lost my debit and credit card. I have informed the HDFC bank customer service to block my both the cards and they have done the same however after 2 days i have realized they have not blocked my card only but i m not able to do any online transactions as well from my account. The error which i m getting while using netbanking facility is "there is no Active ATM / Debit card linked to this account", therefore I am unable to take any money from my account. I have called the customer service and they said that its been done for my security however somebody should inform me in advance that if I block the card than I will not be able to access my account online however no one has given me that information. Due to my office work I could not manage to go to the branch to apply the new card and becuase of the same reason I was unable to pay my credit card min due amount of Rs. 3300 approximatley. Yesterday (8th July) i have received the call from the collection dept and they started threatning me and shouted at me. I was politely trying to make them understand that what is the problem and i will pay the amount asap once I get the cash from my account. I was in the middle of the meeting and they were harrasing me over the phone when i was talking to my clients. not only that they said if i dont pay the amount in 1 day i have to bear the consequnces, they can do anything with me. I have to disconnect the call because I was not able to tolerate the words which they were using. They said I am talking to a bank employee and they can talk the way they want. i am any roadside crap if they are the bank employee, does govt given them any title of padmabhushan or padmashree. Have they been given doctarte title becuase of their services to the country so what does "bank employee means". Suddenly after that i had called to HDFC Branch Manager - Bomannahali (Bangalore Hosur Road) and spoken to Sumati (Branch Manager) and explained her everything. I have given her the number from where i was getting the collection calls. Today (9th July) I went to one of the HDFC Branch (Bomanahalli - Hosur Road) and take the cash from my account and paid the payment in cash. however in the evening I have received the call from collection dept and they started harrasing me, and threatning me and used some of the abusive words as well. When i have asked them to be polite and speak to the bank manager as i do not wish to talk to them the lady name called Sona and Executive called Manuel said i have to be ready to bear the consequnces, and i dont know what they can do with me. They have told me I am the bank defaulter and a customer that should not have a respect to even have a bank account. Is this why we have private banks. Is this what I need to listen when i have lost my card and trying to manage without money. is this wat called a customer service which HDFC gives a commitment or advertisement of... This is simply demotivating, and painful to deal with HDFC. I am not a criminal who have done a big fraud ... I am supposed to pay 3000 rs and my 32000 right now is blocked in my saving account which i can not touch / use / take.

Please do the needful as I am really been treted like a road side crap as a customer. I have been abused / threatned by the bank employee.

My god.How rude this hdfc bank people are.
I think you should go to police & lodge the complaint. This is what we call AA bail muze mar.Bank people chase us for credit cards & then their thugs chase us for money.

    i had a personal loan with HDFC bank. Near the completion of the loan my communication address got changed. I called the customer care before the account closure for changing the communication address and the executive told me that it can be changed only after the account gets closed. Next i called again after my last EMI payment and this time the executive said that as the loan account is closed so no changes can be made. For collecting the NOC letter i have to visit their branch and nothing else can be done.

    To top it the executive (Mr. Eman from JP Nagar branch in Bangalore) said that i was accusing the bank and no executive can provide such misleading information.

      To whomsoever it may concern (HDFC CREDIT CARD STATEMENT - [protected])

      This is to bring to your notice that as per the card statement sent by you it is clear that there were no dues pending on since Feb- Mar 2004. The statement with statement date 26/08/04 shows and confirms the same. We have cancelled the card in four pieces and dropped in Koramangala branch in person before leaving India in Feb 04. The proof can be established from the fact that there were no transactions for a regular history card after Feb 04 and there were dues pending to be paid.

      However, HDFC bank officials have not updated the records or for whatever reasons, the credit card dep’t has levied an annual charges on my card to the tune of Rs 756/- and sent to my old address which I had vacated long back. This was not even followed on my cell no[protected] being active since 2002 to till date and also on my email ids ([protected]@in.ibm.com & [protected]@yahoo.com). With no response to pay these charges and they got accumulated without any follow up with year on year charges on account of late payment fee of Rs 165+ and is showing a big outstanding due. The first call I received for some dues was on Dec 08, to which I replied that I hold no credit card from HDFC. Further, I received no response and kept on increasing the dues without my knowledge. The card is suspended and charges due against my name reported to authorities without my knowledge.

      This is a clear case of harassment of the consumers and in a bid to sell the cards at whatever cost, HDFC credit cards guys have played with our records and blemished the credit history. The utter negligence and sheer callousness of some HDFC officials has become a reason of dispute on my cbil history. .

      Pl treat this matter seriously & revert the amounts entirely to restore my CBIL history ASAP.

      I can be reached on the following contacts below for any clarifications. Alternatively, now being in India, I use credit cards and if the same is reissued with all dues reversed and history restored will be happy to use and take forward.

        Sir,
        I have taken a personal loan from Hdfc account no.12639936 last year jan2008. I am regularly depositing the instalments. Unfortunately I don’t have any job since
        10th Nov2008, But still somehow i am arranging the emi amount & submitting the same. Last month i have received a call from Hdfc collection department named RK puri, (phone no.[protected], i told him that i am unable to pay the emi this month as i still don’t have any job & i’ll try to submit on next month. He told me that if i’ll submit one more emi they will provide me the 6th month duration time for submitting the rest emi as i do not have any job. After that i had arranged somehow & submitted the Emi. I knew that i will not get any time & still i have to submit the emi. Now on dated 20th/Jun/09 when i was out of station & only my mother was present at home ...two people from hdfc collection department came & told my mother that they have come from coat & they are going to paste a notice on our house and also they were shouting at top of their voice, they used very rough language. Ist of all they should make a call before coming to my place. Without my knowledge they came to my house, harassed my mom & collected the emi. They told my mom that anyhow she has to give the emi otherwise they will take action. My mother really got scared & she started crying to see their behaviour.
        The behaviour of recovery persons who visit my home was not good at all & i really really want you to take some action against them. You can also see my record, i have paid the emi regularly, i do not have any job since nov’08 but still somehow i am giving the emi. But as i have not paid only 1 ½ emi the people from collection department came to my place without informing me & also harassed my mother & collected the EMI. Which is really really not tolerable.
        Please look into the matter and take some action. I have also registerd the complaint against these people in HDFC, my complaint no is[protected]. The receipt no of emi is 17310491. There is a stamp on the receipt from SAB. One of the guy was saying that he is a hdfc sales manager & the other guy name was Kapil.

        All HDFC recovery agent are mother ...inki saalo ki gaand kisi din zarur todunga...aa jaao saalo ek baar tum log mere ghar saaalo ulta taang lunga...

        Gaandu bank waise bhikari recovery agentsss...kutte saaley...
        this is all the same with me bank agent shouldnt come home they forcely give money by giving us big dream

          Dear Sir/ Madam,

          I have been holding HDFC credit card for more than a year and 3 months and have been paying the minimum payment on time inspite of getting the credit card statement from the bank. However, they have blocked my saving Account to get their money recovered without intimating me about the same.

          Do you take the complaints seriously as I have been seeing lots of complaint against them but no result posted.

          Now, I am in urgent need of money and not getting any help from the Bank.

          Day before yesterday I got a message that my account No: [protected] has been blocked due to invalid PAN card no. I have gone through the NSDL website and found that my PAN no. has no issue.
          My PAN no is BGBPM2342D. Customer ID. Number is 36961534.

            Hello Sir,

            Actually i use the credit card when i am unable to use debit card- like ticket booking where i am unable to use debit card-this occurs in rare cases the same way i used to book ticket using credit card -(52605), i was unaware of due date-thinking not 55days over... i didnt receive any sms alerts even, usually i get lot of sms alerts as 5% off for this that like that, which i need to delete immediatedly as i should not occupy more spacein my mailbox...this messages are unnecessary where i should have received prestatement alert- which would have helped me.

            when i enquired to customer care n no. of times they said they waved of late fee- what about additional charges which now reached as 3000+ due.
            i never use this for buying on credits any thing. Only when i am unable to use my debit card i use this credit card, and immediately make the full payment of purchase.so i request you to please look into this and wave all those off and do me justice, today(7/2/09) alone i called 4 times, as usual most of the time server was down and atlast one staff was telling -'only today'-- that for sms alert yrly pament of Rs98 should have been done... if that is the case they should have informed this prior and i would have paid for it. it would have solved all the problems. why none of your staff has informed me about this prior... so they just got this answer today and passing it to customers... Arent we paying for sms alert in mobile phones, same is this case, we have a debit account, upon it we get the credit card, and you say fees is there...ok... why you people did inform this prior, if sending prestatement is costing you.. then how come you people are sending the advertisement sms as discount..x% on purchase of dress.. or what ever etc... Those were unnecessary compared to the interest, tax you are levying on amount due for payment.

            Some banks even we dont have debit account in them send us the pre-statement alert in mail and sms. Are they not thinking of customers..?

            So i request you to wave those extra fee which you have levyed on my card.. so that i dont have any due.. with respect to your answer to my queries/grievances i have to prepare myself about continuing with the card. Please answer me in detail.Also please send me the cummulative statement from the purchase of that ticket-in makemytrip which amounts to 52605 till today.

            after this mail, i didn't receive any response they didnt send me any statements for that mail, but they never fail to put interest above interest to- a non exitence purchase for which i paid after talking to a customer care person, she told she will be waiving all related interest and latefee, so i gave a check payment for the purchase bill+200 she told its service tax, a person came and collected at my house, why should she false promise and later says only latefee could be waved off, if that is thecase then i would not have paid at all, i would have seeked legal/other raised complaint like this, after this i had some person problem because of that i could not follow vigroulsy, but i have called your customer care many times, i have my telephone bill, i can show you all the phone call for this purpose, , now i am again into sorting this vigroulsy, but the customer care people are not at all co-operative, one customer care person say i need to pay 125+service tax to get a cumulative statement for any month before 6 months from now, so even for jan2009 i need to pay 125+service tax, what about the statement not send by customer care dept, even after my email request, till then i didnt receive any cumulative statemtent.

            because as they have failed to send my statement for the feburary 2009 email where i have asked statement from the ticket purchase date(23/09/2008) to then till till date(07-feb-2-2009) as August 6 2008 till feb 6 2009 is six months only.so i am entitled for a cummulative statement till date.

            Pls do justice to me for which out of nothing a interest came and it got accumulated nearly to Rs5000
            till date. pls do favor by looking into this case.

            We have not recived the recent credit statement we have been asking for the recent bill and still you not sent and one female calling from this number [protected] speaking very rudely and if you dont send the bill how can we make the payment and on top of it you charge for late payment. this is continuing from many days and i have the docuement for this. if you dont take action immediately, i will complaint with the policecommissioner.

              ON 04 JULY 2009 I CHECKED MY BALANCE, IT SHOWED 9555.07 BY TXN NO. 5890 DATED 04/07/09.

              THEN I TRY FOR WITHDRAWL OF 6600/-, BUT TRANSACTION DECLINED BY TXN NO. 5891 DATED 04/07/09,
              AND RESPONSE CODE 072 ( UNABLE TO PROCESS).

              THEN AGAIN I TRY FOR WITHDRAWL, BUT TRANSACTION AGAIN DECLINED BY TXN NO. 5892 DATED 04/07/09,
              AND RESPONSE CODE 058 ( INSUFFICIENT FUNDS).

              THEN I TRY BALANCE INQUIRY, BY TXN NO. 5893 DATED 04/07/09, IT SHOWED 2955.07/- INSTEAD OF 9555.07.

              I DID NOT GET ANY MONEY FROM ATM THEN WHERE MY AMOUNT OF 6600/- HAD GONE.

              ALSO TODAY ON 06 JULY 2009 WHEN I CHECKED MY BALANCE AT HDFC ATM BY MINI STATEMENT IT SHOWS DEBIT TXN OF 6600/- DATED 04 JULY 2009.

                Dear Sir,

                I 'm using HDFC BANK Credit card from last 2 years, i paid all the month minimum due amount last two not paid. for that they locked my hdfc bank salary account and they block all the money and they taken for the creditcard payment. without informing me they blocked my salary account and money. if we call to the cust care people they are telling account and money not to be release. Plase enquire about it.

                HDFC BANK BLOCKED MY MONEY in My Savings Account
                Dear Sir,

                I 'm using HDFC BANK Silver Credit Card from last 6 years, I paid all the month minimum due amount last (1) one not paid. for that they locked my hdfc bank salary account and they block all the money and they taken for the creditcard payment. without informing me they blocked my salary account and money, also through ATM machine they taken back my credit card and not return back to me, if we call to the cust care people they are telling account and money not to be release. Please enquire about it.

                  I want to return the policy as I have not been given
                  the policy which i opted for. I opted for pension plan with a monthly
                  premium of Rs 2000/- for the duration of 03 years whereas I have been given Young Star Plus-II with the monthly premium of Rs 2500/- for the duration of 10 years. Alteration to my opted policy can be seen on the application form which must have been done by the agent to suit his own benefits in terms of commission. I have complained the very moment II got to see the policy details over net several times but got no result so far. My previous complaint no & interection id are - 69280 and 8339, 2706 repectively but no satisfactory reply from the company. I am working in IAF and posted at Air Force Station Trivandrum, Kerala & don't have sufficient time to visit my home branch. Thereby I intend to get my policy terminated as soon as possible.

                  I received a credit card (Titanium) having credit limit of 27000..


                  After 10 days, a man from “HDFC LIFE UNIT” called me to have a policy through my credit card informing me that he will issue the policy without activation and without any money transaction from my credit card.


                  Since, I as not actually decided to take a policy and he also informed that I can pay the amount after the month of June 2013. I filled the form in front of him intimating that I will give him the confirmation after having discussion with my family.


                  As having in mind that the policy gets activated after the month of June 2013 that too after my confirmation. I kept quiet thinking that the man would call me after may 2013 and I could decide the format of policy.


                  · But now i.e.., on 8th March 2013, the almost whole (25000) money was deducted

                  for the policy and I got this information as massage in my phone.


                  Due to these sudden money deductions (which I never wanted) I informed to HDFC Bank regarding this issue many times, they told me to issue a letter attached with Original policy.


                  your representative made a mistake. why i want to pay in my pocket money.

                  i never accept in your reply. HDFC LIFE UNIT is doing this type money taken.


                  Because of HDFC LIFE UNIT representatives, i had lot of mental problem and also taken in my pocket money.

                    I have filed the complaint mentioned below which explains the case:

                    Dear Mr. Giridhar

                    I was shocked to receive a letter from your credit card division for the Card no. [protected] which shows an outstanding amount of Rs. 12622.72.

                    I would like to remind the HDFC Bank authorities that it was your salespersons who walked into our government institution and after a lot of pleading they got savings bank accounts (salary accounts) cases prepared and opened for our staff which none o[censored]s availed. None o[censored]s deposited any money into these accounts as our salary accounts were already active with SBI. This was explained to your salespersons but they were bent upon just achieving their sales target. The savings account opened in my name was #[protected].
                    Along with this they also pushed credit cards on a few of our officers. As I already had a Gold Credit card from another company, I was reluctant to get another but the salesperson pressurized the whole staff and some o[censored]s got the cards made to satisfy the poor guys. I just made a single transaction on that card and surrendered the card after paying the dues as well following the prescribed format of cutting the card and dropping it in the HDFC ATM drop box along with the due amount. There were a few hiccups after which your helpline on the phone informed me that my account was settled and the card was no longer valid as it had been returned along with the payment.

                    NOW, FOUR YEARS LATER YOU SEND ME A LETTER CLAIMING THE ABOVE AMOUNT AND THREATENING LEGAL ACTION. THIS IS HIGHLY OBJECTIONABLE, ESPECIALLY THE PARA IN THE LETTER THAT YOU HAVE SHARED MY PRIVATE INFORMATION WITH OTHER BANKS AND INSTITUTIONS.

                    IF YOU DO NOT CORRECT THE SITUATION, IT IS I WHO WILL SUE YOUR BANK FOR LIBEL AND DAMAGE TO MY REPUTATION.

                    hi there.it feels me very sorrow to say that i m going to close my account cause of some
                    ill responsible person in credit card division. they ask me for a policy and they told me
                    that there will be no intrest in the credit card.after sign the policy papper they withdrawal
                    2000 rupees in my account as an intrest of credit card.after this i did many struggle to back
                    my money and cancil the policy it went more than 2 months but they did no care.theydid nothing
                    but cheating and they speaks nothing but lie.they are converting the good image of bank into
                    bad and deception for the sake of some money by speking falsehood. so please tell me if there is
                    any way? or can i close my account ? it is up to you. thanks.

                    Dear HDFC Bank group this is very shamefull to say that i have been stuck with a problem
                    for months from yours. it was a bond policy which i did involve.but after i wanted it
                    canceal the bank is not helping any more . how many time i went to see my branch and did
                    request to cancil the policy and i called to coustmer center and did fax too. but still
                    no hope to solve my problem and it also withdrawl the amount some 2000 in my account.it
                    make me sick. plz. beleve me. so if you are not able to help me. i must closed my account
                    soon. if you pleased to do so. ihave no problem. and if you wanted to care? then icountnue.

                      The Bank has renewed FDRs automatic for 2 year 15 days @6% p a. The Bank has kept special rate for 6month 16 days, 9 moth 16 days, 1year 16days, 2year 16 days. The Bank is renewing FDRs for 2 year15 days 15 days @ 6% pa.whereas they 0ffer 7.25 % for 2 year 16 days. why give 1% less for by renewing for one day less tenure.
                      The customer care officer say you can get the FDR cancelled by sending mandate signed by all the holders. This way we shall bel loosing interest for the period form the date of maturity to the date of cancellation.
                      Definitely there is deficiency of service. Kindly see their rate structure.

                        I am Manish Jha. I worked in HDFC Bank Ltd in Gurgaon at Khandsa branch as a Team leader. I joined HDFC Bank Ltd. on 19thDecember, 2008. My employee code is CM15162. My interview has been taken by S.M (Mr. Gaurav Goyal) and fixed up my salary Rs.12000/- p.m.I was given branch at Cyber city in gurgaon and there was no facility to mark my attendance. I worked hard for two months but I got neither appointment letter nor salary, even my salary account has not been opened. I asked to S.M about salary then he replied “You have not salary account yet, so you will get your salary within two months after opening your salary account. It was shocking moment for me because he had no time to open my salary account so it was uncertain that when I will get my salary even if he open my salary account that very moment despite that I will get it after four months of joining the organisation.I was facing severe financial crisis that time so I asked him any idea to get my salary within a month then he adviced to give resignation and said “you will get D.D. of your salary in 15 days against your 57 working days. So I gave him resignation on 16th feb, 2009. Now more than 4 months have been passed and whenever I make him call he says financial year[protected] has been closed so you can’t get your salary. After a long telephonic conversation he agreed to pay Rs.13000/- only and paid the same on 26/06/2009.But this amount doesn’t justify my 57 days hard work according my fixed salary. Still I am passing through mounting mental pressure and financial crisis.

                          Dear Sir,

                          This is to inform you that I am suffering from a cheating case of credit card no:[protected] On 19th june09 I received a call from telecaller([protected]) that I have made purchases of 24100/ through the mentioned credit card During march06 & total outstanding of the card is around 56000/- including interest, and you have to pay Rs 22000/- with in next three days to avoid any legal action. I was surprised after listing this because I havent received this credit card. I told that lady that when I was in Gurgaon working with matrix cellular services I have applied for a HDFC bank credit card but after that I resigned that organization & moved to lucknow. So my question is that how bank can deliver the credit card & even pin no(reflecting in Rs 4000/-cash transaction) to a wrong person, without taking my personal details proof. On asking the delivery details of the card they are unable to answer.After that I have taken the number of their Manager Anupam Sudha([protected]) to know more about the case she told that your statement of accounts have been sent to my office & bank is doing written communication from last three years. But I havent received a single statement till date, bank have my permanent address & my email ID also so why I have not been communicated to my permanent address. Now I felled harassed thru the entire case. On 20th june09 at 11.45 AM I received call from Banks legal advocate(Mr. Amit Tayagi) that bank has sent you the legal notice to you two times & if you do not settle the payment before 3PM a warrant will be issued against you & police will came to your home along with an advocate & take total outstanding of Rs 56000/- or objects of the same cost or arrest you. For settlement they told me to contact Siddharth Pandaya at HDFC bank . I went to bank & met with the same person, coincidentally Mr. Ashish Kumar Sharma(Deputy Mgr- Debt Mgt) from HDFC bank cards division was there I told the entire case to them but they told that he is from collection department they only settle your outstanding. In bank he checked the details of the card thru an online software but important details like DOB(20/06/1981 Actual against 19/02/1980 in system detail) phone nos at that time was wrong in spite of this they suggested to settle that outstanding. I have asked the concerned person to provide me disputed deceleration form to settle to avoid any legal action but they denied that they have not any provision of that you have to settle the outstanding & then you communicate to customer care over the case. So for a credit card which I have never received and in that important information like DOB, Phone no, Delhis Local address are wrong how can I pay for that even after getting threat of legal warrant. On 20th June 09 I also requested to send the copy of application form, Statement of account, Details of communication if any to my permanent address which is still awaited.

                          After this.due to continuous harassement from the bank officers mentioned Above. I have deposited Rs. 22, 000/- (Rs. Twenty Two Thousand) on 24/06/2009, Receipt No. C 17235107, settlement reference no. S 0530503. I would like to further state below facts.

                          1) I have never received the credit card.
                          2) I have never received any statement of a/c from the bank.
                          3) No communication has been made to my permanent address mentioned in the application form.
                          4) At the date of deposit of the payment by me, i have crosschecked the personal details mentioned in the bank's software against credit card no. [protected]. The date of birth mentioned in Bank's record is wrong. Phone No. mentioned in the Bank's record is wrong.
                          5)Deputy Manager - Debt Management, New Delhi, Mr. Ashish Kumar Sharma, was not able to provide any proof of delivery of the card/pin no. to me.
                          6) I have requested for a copy of application form, which was filled by me, which has not been provided to me till date.

                            For last 3 months have not got monthly only communication is through SMS.
                            on the purchase by using credit card you should have to send bills & amount payable in time so that we can pay the amount in proper time but we didnot receive any bills from you within time & after finishing of your permisible limt you are sending us the bills with due charges for delayed payment & after contact with your coustermar care they are not answering properly so we are surrendering the cards

                              This is regarding an exceptionally rude and abusive behaviour from one of HDFC employees.

                              Today I received a call from an employee in HDFC credit card department, Golden Tower, Koddihalli, Bangalore - 560017.

                              That employee had called on my own brother's mobile, [protected].

                              He was asking details about a credit card defaulter and even after giving the defaulter's mobile number, he was calling on our mobile number again and again to get the details of defaulter's native address details which we didn't know. He was talking very rudely as if we were the defaulter.

                              I had received his call on my brother's mobile and when I said that I don't have details and please don't call us again, he abused me, threatened me to take legal action, asked my home address and then threatened me that he will come to my house and teach me a lesson.

                              The credit card defaulter person had done some transaction few month's back in my sister's HDFC SB account also. The executive had her account details and he used her name during conversation also and very bad abusive language for me and my sister for no fault of our own.

                              When I asked his employee ID, he refused to give his HDFC employee ID detail.

                              He gave me the below details:

                              I have received the call from the below number:

                              After the call, I feel tremendously mentally harassed and depressed because of his words.

                              Is there any reason in humiliating a person who just had some Rs1000 SB account transaction with a credit card defaulter.

                              Can you please guide me how should I go about complaining about HDFC Executive Rajan.
                              Is there anyway I can be provided any of HDFC Bank's Senior management E-mail ID.

                              Or where else can I appeal for the humiliation I am going through.

                              Credit Card — Extremely Humiliating Experience

                              I am using Barclays Credit Card since Dec' 07. The overall experience with Barclays have been pothetic. I guess calling them the worst cutomer care service provider wont be wrong. In Feb, I got a call for payment and I asked the person to send someone to collect the cheque. I asked if there would be any late payment charges. I was told that there wont be any late payment charges as the due date has not yet come. The next day, this guy came and took the cheque. Next time I got the invoice, there were late charges applied in that. Same thing happened in March. This time, as discussed the person dint turn up for good 8days and I got a call from Barclays for payment. I told that a person was supposed to come but he dint turn up. The person appoloized and asked if he could send the person the following day. I asked about the late payment charges. He told me that there wont be anything like that as this late payment is not your fault. The next day this guy came and took the cheque. But in the next invoice I again got to know that late charges have been applied. I spoke to many people but no one was concerned about the problem. Now my invoice ammount was around Rs 30000. I asked for a detail statement. But I never got any. After sometime I paid Rs 20000 by cheque just because a Barclay person said that if you do so, your problem will be solved immediately. Since then I have spoken to some 30 different people but nothing has been done since then. The remaing 10k has become 13k during this time comprising of late payment charges and intrest. I am tired of begging to send me a detail statement, but all these guys are concerned is just for their payment. These people just take my mail id but just never send any statement.

                              Now its like a humiliation because daily I get some 4-5calls for payment and when I say I dont want to make the payment, then these people insist me to tell them the problem so that they can sort it out. Now its been such a bad experience that I dont even tell them anything as because I have done so earlier countless times. I want to clear the payment but only after recieveing a detail statement and also I just dont understand why I need to pay the extra ammount as whatever is happening is not my fault. I just dont want to continue with Barclays. This was the worst experience of my life. I request the concerned persons to do the needful and have a full and final settlement with me as I am extremely tired of all this and all this is very disgusting at Barclays end, keeping in mind the position they proclaim to have across the Globe.

                              I am also the victim of the HDFC bank, One of the collection agent came to house and collected the amount saying this is last and final payment and informed me that the HDFC bank will be sending the closure letter through email or by post. But once i call the coustmer care they are informing that the issue is not closed and they have filed a complaint against me. If the bank are recurting any agents then why are they telling all false stories and collecting money. This is the serious issue and now a days they are calling and harrsing me and my family for the payment. My card limit as less a 15K and they are filling a suit for 50K. If this is law then where we can go for the justice.

                                I have been using my hdfc credicard no [protected] i have been having problems using my online transaction facility which i use to book train tickets . i have made three requests over a period of last 3 weeks with no response whatsover . They are not even bothered to take up my case and i need to put up my case as a new one everytime i call. what i awfull sight of the customer care centres they are only interested in making new customers but not at all interested in servicing them

                                  I have taken personal Loan at HDFC back, I have paid total of 44 EMIs and for remaining 4 EMIs I requested for Fore Closure, They waved all the late payment charges and agreed for settlement for Rs 25000/- and they promissed me that they will send all my advance cheques and NOC in one month.

                                  After one month I called them they told me that they have closed my Loan, but they are not providing all my Advance cheques and NOC

                                  Could you please help me to get all my Cheques and NOC.

                                    My HDFC Card No is [protected].

                                    In the month of Jan' 09 HDFC Card has made an automatic payment of Rs. 24, 000/- to HDFC Standard Life. Sufficient fund was not available in my card account but still they made the payment but declined it. They have not taken my consent by any means before this transaction.

                                    Threafter, HDFC Charged me Overlimit Fee of Rs. 600 for 3 months. I have asked them an explanation but they haven't given any. Due to there non response payment got delayed though i made the payment within a week of due date. Still they have charged me Late Fee of Rs. 600 for 3 months. Customer care executive of HDFC confirmed me that they will levy all these charges if i make a payment of Rs. 12, 000/-. I made that payment but they haven't waived the charges.

                                    Instead of my repeated request (over mail & phone) the charges has not been withdrawn.

                                    I feel HDFC is cheating the customer this way.

                                    I would like to have a justified solution of this issue.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I am an ICICI Bank Credit Card customer for more than 3 years now. My payment status is very good as I always used to pay total amount in one stroke whatever may be the amount. Since then I have maintained the same clean record. My credit limit was Rs. 58000/ till September 2009. Accordingly, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Premium of Rs 20000/ was made on 25th September, 2009 by the ICICI card. But, in the statement dated 28th September, 2009, I was slapped Rs. 500 fine and some service tax of Rs. 51.50 on it for over limit charge adding the total to Rs. 20551.50 without any information of lowering down my credit limit to Rs. 10000/ instead the information printed on statement dated 28th September, 2009. If the prior information was issued to me, I never used the ICICI card as I have ABN AMRO, HDFC card in my hand.
                                    On 07.10.2009, I called the customer service No. [protected] (Kolkata) and explain the matter to one Mr. Ashok and requesting him for reversal of the fake amount of Rs. 551.50 for which I was not responsible. I was informed that my reversal is accepted and a confirmation SMS will come to me within an hour. As I was assured for reversal of the extra amount, I made a payment of Rs. 20000/ though no SMS came till 10th November, 2009. Instead, to my utter surprise, ICICI bank again send a statement dated November 3rd for Rs. 925.24 as interest charge Rs 338.83 and service tax Rs 34.90 for non payment of Rs 551.50. It is not understood how Rs 338.83 is interest of Rs. 551.50.
                                    Today, again I have tried to call the customer service through the menu guide, after 4 minutes finally I reached the customer service executive but before I could explain the matter the line is disconnected. In that case, ICICI should cancel my card as I cleared the outstanding amount without paying the fine for which I was not responsible.
                                    Now, I have to say firmly that I could not pay any amount which is not really viable and if next statement is again generated further slapping any amount as interest or so I have to approach appropriate authority of Reserve Bank and I will lodge a case in consumer court for harassing me in false claim.
                                    Please decide earliest and inform me within December 3rd accordingly. I am cutting the card into pieces and send it to you.

                                      Hi,

                                      This is to bring to your notice an issue wherein the HDFC Credit Cards Division has directly debited an amount of Rs. 7819 on my Visa women's Gold credit card.

                                      I was given a committment & assurance by one of thier Senior Managers in March, 09 that they would clear off & negate y outstanding balance of Rs 6000 at that time) if I made a due payment of Rs 300 then. I very much & happily paid them 300 & was resting assured that my account would be all clear after that because this 6000 amount was balance on me on account of some extra financial charges laid by them for thier own reasons !

                                      Post that, I again started getting calls from them in May to clear my dues & I was taken aback ! Every time I got a call from a different person at thier end who refused to tell me his name so that I can give his reference to any other call I may get in future. I kept telling them that I have already had a word with thier senior manager who has assured me that my account would be zeroed down & I do not need to make any payments. They were satisfied by my response & told me "Sure Mam, thats fine."

                                      And then, one fine day when i checked my Bank Statements, I found that they have laid a lien & directly debited Rs. 7819 (the escalated charges till June) without any prior permission !

                                      Now, they tell me that they did send me a hard copy of the lien notice to me (which I never received). Also, they tell me that there is no such policy of refunding the charges back & they are not concerned who soever talked to me & assured me of it !!

                                      Besides this, I never got an sms alert or an email alert or a small phone call from them before laying a lien on my account ! Otherwise. they keep calling me for collections & used to send me alerts for every little thing. How can they just do away with directly debiting some amount without being confirmed that the customer is aware of it??

                                      Moreover, every mail they write just rudely says that nothing can be done about it now & its a part of thier Card Member Agreement. Nothing of this kind was ever intimated to me while I was buying the card.

                                      Everytime I try to contact them, a different person responds (Archana, Vidya, Ramesh...Please go through the attached email communication I have had with them since June 21, while the amount was debited on June 16, 09).

                                      Why can just 1 person not communicate with me who is aware of the entire case history?

                                      This is a sheer case of breaching a customer's trust, placing false commitments, miscommunicating things all across & falsifying the customers !

                                      (My only mistake seems to be that I did not record the telephonic communication wherein I was assured that my balance would be negated.

                                      Please take due measures to help me if possible.
