For last 3 months have not got monthly only communication is through SMS.
on the purchase by using credit card you should have to send bills & amount payable in time so that we can pay the amount in proper time but we didnot receive any bills from you within time & after finishing of your permisible limt you are sending us the bills with due charges for delayed payment & after contact with your coustermar care they are not answering properly so we are surrendering the cards

    This is regarding an exceptionally rude and abusive behaviour from one of HDFC employees.

    Today I received a call from an employee in HDFC credit card department, Golden Tower, Koddihalli, Bangalore - 560017.

    That employee had called on my own brother's mobile, [protected].

    He was asking details about a credit card defaulter and even after giving the defaulter's mobile number, he was calling on our mobile number again and again to get the details of defaulter's native address details which we didn't know. He was talking very rudely as if we were the defaulter.

    I had received his call on my brother's mobile and when I said that I don't have details and please don't call us again, he abused me, threatened me to take legal action, asked my home address and then threatened me that he will come to my house and teach me a lesson.

    The credit card defaulter person had done some transaction few month's back in my sister's HDFC SB account also. The executive had her account details and he used her name during conversation also and very bad abusive language for me and my sister for no fault of our own.

    When I asked his employee ID, he refused to give his HDFC employee ID detail.

    He gave me the below details:

    I have received the call from the below number:
    [protected] between 10:45am to 11:15am on 03 July, 2009.

    He took my office address and phone number and threatened me that he will come to my office or home and teach me a lesson.

    After the call, I feel tremendously mentally harassed and depressed because of his words.

    Is there any reason in humiliating a person who just had some Rs1000 SB account transaction with a credit card defaulter.

    Can you please guide me how should I go about complaining about HDFC Executive Rajan.
    Is there anyway I can be provided any of HDFC Bank's Senior management E-mail ID.

    Or where else can I appeal for the humiliation I am going through.

    Credit Card — Extremely Humiliating Experience

    I am using Barclays Credit Card since Dec' 07. The overall experience with Barclays have been pothetic. I guess calling them the worst cutomer care service provider wont be wrong. In Feb, I got a call for payment and I asked the person to send someone to collect the cheque. I asked if there would be any late payment charges. I was told that there wont be any late payment charges as the due date has not yet come. The next day, this guy came and took the cheque. Next time I got the invoice, there were late charges applied in that. Same thing happened in March. This time, as discussed the person dint turn up for good 8days and I got a call from Barclays for payment. I told that a person was supposed to come but he dint turn up. The person appoloized and asked if he could send the person the following day. I asked about the late payment charges. He told me that there wont be anything like that as this late payment is not your fault. The next day this guy came and took the cheque. But in the next invoice I again got to know that late charges have been applied. I spoke to many people but no one was concerned about the problem. Now my invoice ammount was around Rs 30000. I asked for a detail statement. But I never got any. After sometime I paid Rs 20000 by cheque just because a Barclay person said that if you do so, your problem will be solved immediately. Since then I have spoken to some 30 different people but nothing has been done since then. The remaing 10k has become 13k during this time comprising of late payment charges and intrest. I am tired of begging to send me a detail statement, but all these guys are concerned is just for their payment. These people just take my mail id but just never send any statement.

    Now its like a humiliation because daily I get some 4-5calls for payment and when I say I dont want to make the payment, then these people insist me to tell them the problem so that they can sort it out. Now its been such a bad experience that I dont even tell them anything as because I have done so earlier countless times. I want to clear the payment but only after recieveing a detail statement and also I just dont understand why I need to pay the extra ammount as whatever is happening is not my fault. I just dont want to continue with Barclays. This was the worst experience of my life. I request the concerned persons to do the needful and have a full and final settlement with me as I am extremely tired of all this and all this is very disgusting at Barclays end, keeping in mind the position they proclaim to have across the Globe.

    I am also the victim of the HDFC bank, One of the collection agent came to house and collected the amount saying this is last and final payment and informed me that the HDFC bank will be sending the closure letter through email or by post. But once i call the coustmer care they are informing that the issue is not closed and they have filed a complaint against me. If the bank are recurting any agents then why are they telling all false stories and collecting money. This is the serious issue and now a days they are calling and harrsing me and my family for the payment. My card limit as less a 15K and they are filling a suit for 50K. If this is law then where we can go for the justice.

      I have been using my hdfc credicard no [protected] i have been having problems using my online transaction facility which i use to book train tickets . i have made three requests over a period of last 3 weeks with no response whatsover . They are not even bothered to take up my case and i need to put up my case as a new one everytime i call. what i awfull sight of the customer care centres they are only interested in making new customers but not at all interested in servicing them

      I have been using my hdfc credicard no [protected] i have been having problems using my online transaction facility which i use to book train tickets . They brought message that the HDFC bank locked your online transaction and you have to contact the customer care of HDFC credit card. so please inform me that what is the reason for locked my online payment by the creditcard. I requested to unlock the card so ican make my payment online.

        Respected Sir,

        I have taken personal Loan at HDFC back, I have paid total of 44 EMIs and for remaining 4 EMIs I requested for Fore Closure, They waved all the late payment charges and agreed for settlement for Rs 25000/- and they promissed me that they will send all my advance cheques and NOC in one month.

        After one month I called them they told me that they have closed my Loan, but they are not providing all my Advance cheques and NOC

        Could you please help me to get all my Cheques and NOC.

          My HDFC Card No is [protected].

          In the month of Jan' 09 HDFC Card has made an automatic payment of Rs. 24, 000/- to HDFC Standard Life. Sufficient fund was not available in my card account but still they made the payment but declined it. They have not taken my consent by any means before this transaction.

          Threafter, HDFC Charged me Overlimit Fee of Rs. 600 for 3 months. I have asked them an explanation but they haven't given any. Due to there non response payment got delayed though i made the payment within a week of due date. Still they have charged me Late Fee of Rs. 600 for 3 months. Customer care executive of HDFC confirmed me that they will levy all these charges if i make a payment of Rs. 12, 000/-. I made that payment but they haven't waived the charges.

          Instead of my repeated request (over mail & phone) the charges has not been withdrawn.

          I feel HDFC is cheating the customer this way.

          I would like to have a justified solution of this issue.

          Credit Card — unjustified overlimit charge and interest thereof

          Dear Sir,

          I am an ICICI Bank Credit Card customer for more than 3 years now. My payment status is very good as I always used to pay total amount in one stroke whatever may be the amount. Since then I have maintained the same clean record. My credit limit was Rs. 58000/ till September 2009. Accordingly, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Premium of Rs 20000/ was made on 25th September, 2009 by the ICICI card. But, in the statement dated 28th September, 2009, I was slapped Rs. 500 fine and some service tax of Rs. 51.50 on it for over limit charge adding the total to Rs. 20551.50 without any information of lowering down my credit limit to Rs. 10000/ instead the information printed on statement dated 28th September, 2009. If the prior information was issued to me, I never used the ICICI card as I have ABN AMRO, HDFC card in my hand.
          On 07.10.2009, I called the customer service No. [protected] (Kolkata) and explain the matter to one Mr. Ashok and requesting him for reversal of the fake amount of Rs. 551.50 for which I was not responsible. I was informed that my reversal is accepted and a confirmation SMS will come to me within an hour. As I was assured for reversal of the extra amount, I made a payment of Rs. 20000/ though no SMS came till 10th November, 2009. Instead, to my utter surprise, ICICI bank again send a statement dated November 3rd for Rs. 925.24 as interest charge Rs 338.83 and service tax Rs 34.90 for non payment of Rs 551.50. It is not understood how Rs 338.83 is interest of Rs. 551.50.
          Today, again I have tried to call the customer service through the menu guide, after 4 minutes finally I reached the customer service executive but before I could explain the matter the line is disconnected. In that case, ICICI should cancel my card as I cleared the outstanding amount without paying the fine for which I was not responsible.
          Now, I have to say firmly that I could not pay any amount which is not really viable and if next statement is again generated further slapping any amount as interest or so I have to approach appropriate authority of Reserve Bank and I will lodge a case in consumer court for harassing me in false claim.
          Please decide earliest and inform me within December 3rd accordingly. I am cutting the card into pieces and send it to you.

          I Hold credit card of HDFC and the card no is [protected] & the limit is Rs 2500, i have received wrong statement of rs 28823/- from them today, with some over limit charges & cheque return charges of Rs 3000 & above.I had received one sms from them this month that your cheque is not cleared this month due some error on the cheque.I had redeposited Rs 1200 cheque again in this month to HDFC, still they have charged the returned charges.Please look into this matter and send me a correct statement to enable me to pay the amount before due date.

            Hi,

            This is to bring to your notice an issue wherein the HDFC Credit Cards Division has directly debited an amount of Rs. 7819 on my Visa women's Gold credit card.

            I was given a committment & assurance by one of thier Senior Managers in March, 09 that they would clear off & negate y outstanding balance of Rs 6000 at that time) if I made a due payment of Rs 300 then. I very much & happily paid them 300 & was resting assured that my account would be all clear after that because this 6000 amount was balance on me on account of some extra financial charges laid by them for thier own reasons !

            Post that, I again started getting calls from them in May to clear my dues & I was taken aback ! Every time I got a call from a different person at thier end who refused to tell me his name so that I can give his reference to any other call I may get in future. I kept telling them that I have already had a word with thier senior manager who has assured me that my account would be zeroed down & I do not need to make any payments. They were satisfied by my response & told me "Sure Mam, thats fine."

            And then, one fine day when i checked my Bank Statements, I found that they have laid a lien & directly debited Rs. 7819 (the escalated charges till June) without any prior permission !

            Now, they tell me that they did send me a hard copy of the lien notice to me (which I never received). Also, they tell me that there is no such policy of refunding the charges back & they are not concerned who soever talked to me & assured me of it !!

            Besides this, I never got an sms alert or an email alert or a small phone call from them before laying a lien on my account ! Otherwise. they keep calling me for collections & used to send me alerts for every little thing. How can they just do away with directly debiting some amount without being confirmed that the customer is aware of it??

            Moreover, every mail they write just rudely says that nothing can be done about it now & its a part of thier Card Member Agreement. Nothing of this kind was ever intimated to me while I was buying the card.

            Everytime I try to contact them, a different person responds (Archana, Vidya, Ramesh...Please go through the attached email communication I have had with them since June 21, while the amount was debited on June 16, 09).

            Why can just 1 person not communicate with me who is aware of the entire case history?

            This is a sheer case of breaching a customer's trust, placing false commitments, miscommunicating things all across & falsifying the customers !

            (My only mistake seems to be that I did not record the telephonic communication wherein I was assured that my balance would be negated.

            Please take due measures to help me if possible.

                I have transfered amount Rs 15, 000.00 on 30-JUN2009 through NEFT netbanking from HDFC account [protected], chembur, Mumbai to SBI(Account Number [protected], IFS code SBIN0010124, Anushakti Nagar Mumbai) which has a transaction reference code HD[protected].

                The amount has been debited from HDFC account on 30-JUN-2009 but the same is not yet credited to my SBI account till Today on 2-JUL-2009 till 0900hrs.

                Even after multiple complaints and infinite calls, there has been no inputs from SBI or HDFC regarding the same, The issue still remains unaddressed. This has caused me multiple issues and has cascaded to multiple losses.
                I have no doubt of filing a complaing against the 2 banks.

                  delay in activation

                  Are you fed up with fast life ? So visit HDFC bank. You feel relaxed as they take minimum 12 days for account opening. Not only that, if you deposit cheque for collection they take minimum 5 days for collection, even it is a local cheque. If it is high value cheuqe then it takes 3 days minimum to collect.
                  When there was no technology around PSU banks used to open account in one hour flat and collection of cheques was never beyond...

                    I am Ajay Kumar i am holding a credit card of HDFC Bank. Due to some financial problem i was not able to make payment on time but now from april i am making their payment on time as i received the call from the collection agency and they said sir you make the payment through cheque but i said it get delayed and might be i have to bear late fee charges but they said we have update your account and you don't have to bear late fee charges but from last 3 month i am facing this problem and when i received the call from collection agent of HDFC Bank they said you will receive the late fee amt. reversal next month but i have not get till now. Please do the needful for me. I am having a lots of problem. I want to clear all the due payment but due to this type of activity i am not able to do so.

                      I was holding a credit card no. [protected], the dispute started when your one call center executive called me for the option of "BAJAJ ALLIANCE INSURANCE POLICY" he told me that amount will be deducted from your card only after my written confirmation. this cal was made on AUG, 08. And when i received a bill of my card on SEP, 08 the amount was charged from my card. And since then i am asking your executives to look in the matter and respond back so that i make rest of the payment and close this issue for ever, but no one is bothered to do so.

                      Those guys are providing worst services How can somebody stop the services without any prior intimation. And when i mailed them no body is bother to reply.Worst consumer service.Even their executives dont know their products and not able to give proper answers.

                      I'm HDFC credit card holder card no is [protected], i'm using since 2005 to till date. Last year feb 2009 i was taken BAJAJ ALLIANCE MEDICAL INSURANCE POLICY. This policy expiry date is Feb 2010. December month credit card customer care officer Miss. Jai sudha called me and she told me this year we are introducing HDFC ERGO medical policy, so you don’t renewal Bajaj alliance medical insurance policy and please take HDFC ERGO medical policy. Moreover she said HDFC ERGO medical policy starts from Feb 2010 and your first bill you will receive 12th feb 2010 and you can pay this bill 1st of March 2010. But I had received Credit card statement on 12th jan 2010.
                      In this statement mentioned as BAJAJ ALLIANCE MEDICAL INSURANCE POLICY bill Rs 783 and HDFC ERGO policy bill Rs 687. I’m called credit card customer card officer on 13/01/2010 and I had explained, she told me Miss. Jai sudha attended your ERGO policy she will call with in minutes. After 1 ½ hours no response. Then again I had called to customer care office Miss Balisi(Name spelling not sure) and again I explained every thing, she also told me she will call with in minutes. I was wait more than 2 hours no response. So again in called Mr. Cal attends the call, he also said
                      Miss. Jai sudha will call you within minutes. But I'm waiting more than 4 hours still she is not called me and till no response.

                      Beloved sir, please accept my complaint and please give me a clear explanation.
                      My bill due date is 01/02/10, I would like to pay before this date.
                      So, kindly accept the complaint and please do favor to me ASAP.

                      Hello sir,

                      I am also affected by Jai Sudha regarding HDFC ERGO, She gave me a wrong commitment and confused me, then i was accepted the critical illness policy (it is a range of Rs.8000), after verifying my online account i was shocked with my available balance. She abusing my knowledge and my confidence with HDFC bank. Then i was called credit card customer card officer, the same above experience applied to me also. On my 4th calling, they accept my complaint, they need a policy cancellation letter from me, the process is going on. And they also register a compliant over to Jai sudha, and promised me to arrange a HDFC ERGO call regarding my compliant over to Jai Sudha (HDFC Bank Sales Coordinator). It is all OK!!!

                      Now, i am losing my confidence with HDFC Bank Executives. Who revive?

                        I have taken home loan rs. 6 lacks and it was taken Oct. 2005. I have decided that I have to repayment my due home loan to HDFC and I have confirm to HDFC account dept. in our local branch and they told me that "if you pay by your Saving bank accounts and you have passed above 3 years then we do not count any prepayment charges 2%". but if you refinance from others bank like take over then they are count charges 2%.

                        So my self I have arranged fund from other, and that fund is transferring in my Saving bank account then after I reached at HDFC and I told them I want to close my HDFC home loan by issuing my Saving Bank A/c cheque. then they asked me how you have arranged this fund ? you have submit proof of your Saving Bank Account fund, So argue them I do not disclose my account matter and there are no any rights to ask me bcz this is my personal matter they have told me you have to pay 2% prepayment charges. and I have bare that amount.
                        While I have taken loan from HDFC and signed agreemtn there are no any clause they can check my SB accounts. So, please suggest me what I have to do ? where I have to complaint - I thought that I have to complain consumer court/ news paper article / what ?

                        HDFC having rights to take charges if we pay from our personal account cheque? they have rights to inquiry to find where this funds comes?

                        Pl. suggest me and write me if you know any particular organiation for complaint the same, I want to do procedure to refund my 2% charges.

                        Just go to:
                        CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL COMMISSIONS

                        in your respective states and lodge a complaint against HDFC or any such bank doing so.
                        You may even file a police complaint againts bank for cheating. Just consult a lawyer - it will be resolved.
                        Law is definitely a painful process but Believe me it is always fruitful and in favor of customer.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I had cancelled my HDFC bank women's gold card number [protected] in April 2008 for which a settlement was done. All the installments were duly paid in September 2008. I did not receive any letter from the bank in this regard. Meanwhile, I moved from Delhi to Bangalore after my marriage.

                              Now, due to a home loan requirement, I have requested the bank to provide me a letter or an email confirmation stating that the settlement has been done on September 2008. They have just been making me run around in circles. I have visited every office of HDFC Bank in Bangalore, called up at all divisions in Delhi, requesting them to just provide me one liner confirmation. They all are telling me to go from one department to another.

                              I was told to write an email to customerservices.[protected]@hdfcbank.com. There also, i receive a response stating that they need more time to respond. When I called the Debt maangement froup in delhi at[protected], they refused to provide me any numbers. I don't understand that when they can see it in their records and confirm to me on the phone that the settlement has been done. Why can't they just give me a confirmation in an email.

                              My home loan is pending because of this for almost a month now. Can someone help me?

                              Iam S.Adinarayana my card No:[protected] Master Silvercard.Iam worked an Noanotech Communcations Pvt Ltd, Since last MAR-2008.My first Credit limit 15000.I have no job because of World Economic Finacial crises my company employees also removed, on that day i have no job.
                              Two months i can't pay mony then i can seen third month they can put Over limit Fee and Late fee Amount both two months.I seen my Credit limit they can automatically Dicreeses my Credit limit 13000. I don't known why my credit limit decreses.Presently I have no job Iam working daily laber in village.My Credit limit also Increesing So Please Understand with my Problem.Present Iam Banglore Small Village working Daily Laber work.
                              So Please Understand with my problems, So by requseting please remove the LATE FEE and OVERLIMIT FEES as early as Possible otherwise i have difficult to pay amount our Bank.                                 I have an auto loan from HDFC bank[protected]. My EMI has been collected twice by Cash Rs4254/ ( Receipt no 16834245 dt 13 jun) and Dedecuted through ECS from ICICI bank on 15 jun. I had made several calls to HDFC customer service they say they have refunded back on 23 jun. But still its not reflecting in my account. They have also refused to give a complaint no. More over they have sent a letter stating they have not received the EMI and my name will be included in defaulters list. this most disgusting a bank should handle a customer.

                                  My name is sunil potdar, & my card no. was '[protected]'. I have already cancelled my card. But the problem doesn't end here. The problem started when i recd my credit card bill statement post due date. i don't know whom to blame, either the bank or the courier service. who ever is the culprit, i am suffering. you have quoted me as a defaulter & forwarded the status for legal action & CIBIL, without looking at my previous payment record. Never ever i have made a partial payment & every time the payment has been made before due date. I don't know how do i resolve this & whom do i catch hold off. On every statement i used to write my grievences & post it to for my late payment charges reversal. but of no use. Finally you are giving me a notice of legal action??? That was very bad. I don't want any bank institutions to stop my credit card application or should reject any loan requirement. Just because you are facilitated with the system of forwarding the defaulter list to the CIBIL or legal, doesn't mean you should take advantage of it. Customers like us who always intend to make payments in time suffers because of your wrong systems. I will not plead but request you all to be careful in quoting somebody as defaulter, & give me back my credentials in the CIBIL records or other banking institutions.

                                    I have a strong complaint against your adviser RITU DIWAN who disconnected my call on 28th june 2009 around 1 P.M. when I requested to speak with sup, I spoke with her regarding Rs110.39 charges for 11may2009 for 3rd party... I did not realise that if we deposit money we get charges, my husband filled cash deposit form on my behalf (we were together at that time) and submitted it however the representative also didn't say anything and accepted the money gracefully. Now the call centre advisers saying that I got charges of Rs.110.39 because there was my husband's signature on cash deposit form. I strongly dispute these charges and wants refund of my money.

                                    RITU DIWAN doesnt know how to speak over the phone, instead of addressing my problems she kept on insisting to speak with the branch manager. She was very RUDE and I think, in the wrong business as well. I recommend to take strict action against this representative who is ruining HDFC image.

                                    I spent more than 30 minutes on the call.

                                    Please consider and credit the amount of Rs110.39 as soon as possible.

                                      This is about HDFC credit card .
                                      I have missed on month payment due on HDFC credit card due to my onsite visit.HDFC collection Department called for settlement without conveying the fact that Once the settlement will be done, name will be listed in Defaulter of CIBIL.
                                      Firstly i agreed for Full and Final settlement and given 2 Post dated checks.But in last moment i came to know the exact fact about "CIBIL default ".So i called and paid full Credit card amount and closed the Card.
                                      Now HDFC people are not clearly mentioning about my CIBIL database.I have paid the entire amount, even after am just wondering why they not removed my name from Defaulter.

                                      Please help me on this.So that i can go for home loan in near future.
