On 9th February 2010 I received a call from a Chennai Airtel Landline number 42968930 informing me that I have a credit card with HSBC since 2002. It was news to me since I had never applied for any credit card with that bank nor did have any type of dealing with the bank. Though I was telling him continuously that this is a clear case of fraud, he was not willing to listen and was threatening me like people will come to your house, we will send a legal notice to your current employer etc. When I asked him as to when the card was issued, he said 22nd May 2002. The great irony is I was not in India from Jan 2002 till 2008. The other news he gave me was that I had once made a payment for the usage of card. I could not help laughing. I have called up HSBC and given the details. Does anybody have such an experience. I am writing this on 10th February 2010 and have not heard anything from HSBC officials.

Today [10th Feb 2010] i also got the exact phone call from delhi number. the person on called claimed that he is calling from HSBC. He is claiming that there is a card on name with 4 lack outstanding amount. The card is activated since 2003 and till date i did not make any payment. I am surprised to hear that this person had a lot of detail about me (mail id, address etc.). The fact is that i never had any relationship with HSBC ever and even if there was any suspected fraud then how come never verified in 7 years and telling me today when the outstanding is 4 Lack. After getting the call i searched internet for this issue and found this page. This is a serious fraud.
Please allow me to introduce myself my name is Michael Mason-Mahon and I am a shareholder of HSBC Plc. I am based in London yet I am a very regular visitor to India.

At HSBC Annual General Meeting of Shareholders 2010 I did address my concerns with the Board of Directors concerning what HSBC India has been doing and is doing in India to our customers.

I may be able to help you. I can assure you that I will do all that I can to help you. I have been very successful in the people that I have taken up their cases with HSBC. Now they will not let me help anymore Indian's. You may wonder why, ask the Chairman of HSBC Plc Mr Flint why.

Please go to this site. This is an interview that I did concerning HSBC.

      Hi,

HSBC is offering credit cards to customer but it is not providing in Branch Customer service neither is providing any Toll Free number in case ( though many ) of any complaint. When asked about the same they say to speak to the phone banking officer on phone provided in Branch.
They are also charging 100 Rs extra for making credit card payments in cash.

I feel this is wrong mean of making money and harrasing the card holder as we have to pay for visting branch just to speak to the phone banking officer to get so idea (not resolution) on credit card issue.
If we are making cash payment then why we should pay 100Rs extra. When asked they say this is Bank procedure.

I think if a bank cannot provide in person customer service then they should not be allowed to provide such service at all and should be fined accordingly for cheating cutomer as it was not mentioned in the application that if i make payment in cash will be charged 100 Rs extra.

I wish some serious action should be taken against banks to protect customer who is most of the time helpless and have to pay whatever bank charges.

HSBC Bank - Credit Card — Charges on un-used card

I had availed a facility of HSBC Bank Credit Card in 2007 with the promise of free for life (Card no [protected]). During 2007 I had used this card and paid as per statement in time.

Since 2008 mid I have stopped using the card because of some service issue with the Bank. During December 2007 to August 2008 I was shifted from Baroda to Ahmedabad (Gujarat). During this time I have dropped the monthly payment cheque in some of the drop box in Maninagar area of Ahmedabad. These cheques got delayed due to what reason I don’t know. Because of delay from Bank side, they have raised late payment and other charges which I denied to pay.

Due to the above said service issue since 1 ½ year I am not using the said card.

At present the out standing in my account is shown for Rs.10498.06. According to me all these amounts are for late payment charges / finance charges and other charges only. I am ready to pay the amount which HSBC can prove that I have purchased and not paid.

Over and above the monthly statement, recovery officers from New Delhi are calling on my mobile and also on my mobile at home which is with my wife. They are using abusive language and harassing us since last 6/8 months for recoveries. Even they have updated the same on my CIBIL report also which is affecting my credentials.

Again I would like to state that I am ready to pay the amount if any thing is out standing from my side but not the charges as they have charged nor I am ready to pay my hard earned money to settle the same.

Request you to help me as early as possible.

        Hi,

I had HSBC Gold Credit Card for almost 18 years and i had been a very good with the payment, until 2 years, I had major financial problems and i went in for a settlement for the credit card for an amount of Rs.80,000/- and i made a payment of Rs. 60,000/- towards the settlement letter and another 20,000/- after the due date. Unfortunately for my bad luck, i met with an accident (shoulder fracture) and i was completely down at home for 1 years, because of non-payment of balance amount, my credit card settlement as been reversed. Last year, i received calls from call center. When i mentioned the issue and told them that i had made the complete payment, they told me that it is not settlement and if i make a payment of Rs.5,000/-, i will receive a settlement letter in 3 days time, for which i made a payment of Rs. 5,000/-. I made the recovery agent to write on the receipt mentioning about the details, which he did. But unfortunately till today, i have not received the settlement letter. Till today, i have made Rs. 87,400/- towards the credit card. Now, suddenly since last 1 month, they have started to call me up and say that there is a balance of 3.25 lakhs towards my credit card and i need to make the payment. I dont know what to do. Would you guys let me know in details, what are my options and how i can solve this problem.

          Hello,

This is in reference to the letter dated 22/01/2010 issued in favour of account # 000000003035943434872 for an overdue payment of INR 19,956.00.
          Name on Account: Sunil Kanodia

Can you please make an effort to explain me how a post dated cheque already issued in favour of HSBC bank and in HSBC's possession be overdue? Since the cheque is already with HSBC, why did your officials not deposit the cheque in time?

I have received numerous number of calls asking me to send a cheque of the above mentioned amount since it seems that there is an overwriting/misspelling issue in the previous cheque issued by me. Can you please explain how did HSBC make a decision on this rather than depositing the cheque and letting my bank(State Bank Of Indore) take the decision whether the cheque would be cleared or not? What is the reason behind not sending my original cheque and asking for another cheque? Why is it not possible for an international bank like HSBC to send me a VOID copy of the cheque back to me and take the new cheque?

Also, even if the cheque has a spelling mistake why did HSBC not deposit the cheque when I clearly mentioned to all the representatives I have spoken with in the last 10 days spending more than 16 hours of my time that any charges that may incur if my cheque were to bounce would be solely my responsibility? How difficult is it for your representatives to understand such clear instructions and stop harassing a customer who has been continuously making payment for more than 2 years without any bad credit history? Also, when your agent took the cheques from me 2 years back why didn't they make a complete survey of the cheques making sure that they were clean from any mistakes?

I have included CIBIL in this email communication to maintain a record with them as per your mention in the letter about my credit history being emailed to them.

Please revert back with appropriate answers helping me understand HSBC's policy in this matter. I would again suggest you to deposit my cheque # 723566 drawn on State Bank Of Indore and let them take the decision whether the cheque has any issue or not. If this is not possible then send me the original cheque or a void copy of the cheque to obtain a new cheque from me. Also please make a note that I won't be liable to make any late payment charges if you fail to reply in time since if the cheques are in HSBC's custody it is your responsibility to deposit them in time.

If I am still harassed by your representatives, I would be forced to file a lawsuit against HSBC to protect my human rights.

          Thanks,
          Sunil Kanodia

I had been using Hsbc credit card 4384..........96 for almost 3 years (with No Annual Fee) without any problem & I was quite happy with Hsbc's service.

Problem started when I received an additional credit card (4384..........51) in Sept06 & I was told that this is also free & no need to pay annual fee. I didn't want this card hence I didn' use it at all but Hsbc sent a monthly statement stating annual fee & service tax. I called their helpline and they assured that I will not receive any further statements with late payment. But I got the statement with these charges in next month & so on with same charges. It continued for 3-4 months during which I again called helpline to remind them but in vain. I continued using my original card for some time & then discontinued it later & there is no outstadning.

Now after almost 2 and half years I started getting calls from Hsbc Delhi for clearing so called outstanding of Rs. 23000 odd (piled up due to late payment fees). Delhi people are calling like crazy & literally harassing me & my family members for wrong outstanding.

Today when I called to their Mumbai helpline to sort out issue they asked me to call on [protected] where I talked to somebody Praveen who was very rude & was not ready to hear me. He had no reply to my below questions,

            1) How can Hsbc charge for the card sent without asking me?
            2) Why Hsbc is charging (fees & taxes) for the card which I never used?

I would like to request Hsbc to stop sending the wrong starements & remove so called late payment & service tax charges. I reiterate that I enjoyed using my first Hsbc card for 3 years but Hsbc lost a client like me due to wrong approach to earn profits by sending me unwanted additional card.

I dont mind start using Hsbc card again if charges are removed.

I had credit card no. [protected] of HSBC Bank. I received this card in the month of January’2007. After getting the card I had not received a single statement. When I made my first transaction on this card I was unaware of Billing date and due date. After some days I enquired about my due date from customer care, then I came to know that I’m late, due date of payment was overdue. I paid the amount of my transaction immediately by cheque no. 936836 drawn on Bank of Baroda, which was cleared on 06.12.07. After payment Bank made a call for late fee and interest charges, I told them that I was not aware of my due date that’s why my payment was late and I requested to waive these charges. I told that not providing the statement at right time is your fault, so I’m not liable to pay any unfair charges. But Bank increased that charges every month. I sent my card back to you. Then I received a call from your Head office that I waived all charges levied on you and now Bank send a new card to you please use it as new card. I received a card again in the month of February’2008 and made a transaction of Rs. 20000/- and paid by Cheque No. 949328 drawn on Bank of Baroda which was cleared on 05.04.2008. I paid my dues before due date. After the transaction I received my first statement in which all old charges demanded again, I did not paid that unfair charges and same as previous charges increased by time. Finally on 25.09.2008 I cut the card in four pieces and sent it again after writing many letters to the bank. In the month of February’2009 I came to know that my CIBIL profile has been made negative by the bank. Bank told me nothing about this. Please solve this matter as soon as possible.

                Hello Sir/Madam,

I am Mr. Mangesh Shingare & my HSBC Card No. is 4476 xxxx xxxx 1915.
I m using this card for last 2 years or more.

I was regular payer of the bills of my all cards including ICICI, & HDFC also which i am using till now.

I had not received the bill statement for HSBC since November 2008.

After that neither I used this card nor I received a bill statement for the same.

Then I got call from payment recovery agency of HSBC bank on 2nd weeks of November 2009 when I was in Delhi.

That lady from the payment recovering agency told me that my payment of HSBC bank is pending for past one year.

She also had a track of my HDFC card payment. She found that my HDFC payment is going regularly but HSBC payment was due for one year.

I told her that I have not received the bills. Moreover I have not use this card for more than 12 months.

I check my details of that particular month from her. I came to know that Rs.1800.00
was pending in the month of November 2008 as the final installment of insurance policy of TATA AIG.

Then she offered me a the settlement of this card at the payment of Rs. 2,525.00.
As I was in delhi, it was not possible to collect letter from her.
I asked her to send the SMS confirmation that my card due will be Nil & card will activated if I will make a payment of Rs. 2525.00 for this card.

She sent me SMS & I asked my office assistance to make the payment of Rs. 2525.00 to HSBC bank. I have done the payment on 15th November 09 & which got credited to HSBC bank on 18th November 2009.

One month after the payment, I started receiving call from HSBC call centre for minimum payment due. I called the payment recover agency & concerned person told me that in the next month my card will be settled to nil as my december month bill was generated on 16th November 09 (My payment of Rs. 2525 was credited on 18th November).

I was waiting for the same. After a one month, there was no change in my card bill statement.

Customer care person of HSBC keep on calling me every day. I sent them all details.

I have given them the phone no of that agency & cell nos. of that concern person.
But, HSBC customer care officer told me that they can't consider this as settlement as I don't have any letter from HSBC.

Now, I need following clarifications from bank:
                a. I don't have letter, but I have SMS from the cell no of payment recovery agency. HSBC officers are calling everyday. But why can't they make a single call to the agency to whom they have given authority to follow up with the people to collect the payment?

                b. After 1st January 10, these bank officers are calling me every day. But why was there no phone call or payment reminder on my cell from December 2008 to December 2009. Are they waiting for reach late fee & finance charges to Rs. 6000.00?

                c. Is it the new way to cheat the customer? 1st of all don't deliver the bills to that address for many month. Then make settlement through the agency with false promises. After that harass the customer on technical reason & ask them for one more settlement?

I even told them that if I had to cheat them then I would have spent Rs. 25000.00 & not just Rs. 1,800.00.

I have sent nos of email to HSBC customer care & HSBC nodal officer. But there was no proper reply from them.

Today also I phoned the agency before writing this mail. But that lady was on leave for the day. Her colleague told that the card will be settled if I have paid the amount told by her.

What are the legal procedure I should follow?
To whom I should sent the notice?

Kindly sent your suggestion or advice.

                Regards,

hsbc, credit card — harresing the customer

I had an HSBC card no[protected],which was forced on me by hsbc officials, which i was reluctant to use ,but i kept it unused for 3 yrs as it was free of any charges. Then i starting using it though not as my primary card. The dues were always paid on time. The bank was supposedly happy with my timely payment and subsequently upgraded my card to a platinum card. My last transaction was Rs.83,409.58p,which as usual i paid on time but the bank some how charged me late fee and some other charges. On grounds of principal, i refused to pay as i was not at fault.I tried speaking to bank officals who were very rude to me and refused to hear me out. Now the tables have turned. They have accumulated the interest charges which have mounted upto Rs.10,000 for surely no error of mine. Now i am not interested in hearing them . Their incessant calls are harressing me as i refuse to narrate their inefficiency repeatedly to each of their officials. This situation has been created by them and they themselves need to rectify it. Why are they calling me ? Please help.
Sir, I have cancelled two hsbc cards recently, details being [protected] & [protected].After getting my transfer from Delhi to Cochin, immediately I, ve contacted cus.care and informed the change of address.Still I was not getting statements on time.It will reach me via Delhi and that too by the time it reaches me, late fee must have been due.As a result I had to waste lot of money. Finally I contacted the Bank and requested for closure of the cards.Still I, m getting lot of phone calls, may be from your collection people, but it has really become a nuisance to me in answering those calls.Kindly give instructions to all concerned that these cards have been closed and importantly send me your closure letter. Now only one card remains [protected] that also I would like to close.Pl give me a closure letter.Already I have paid huge amounts towards late fee.So kindly wave off those late fees and give a final amount so that I can close in one shot.Thanks.

I have a credit card of hsbc for the last three years. Till date i have not defaulted in payments for the amt which i have used. I pruchase some item and convert the same into EMI and pay the amt every month promptly by cash. However I had to go out of station for my office purpose and I have asked my friend to make the payment till november What ever the amt that i have to pay I used to get SMS and the due date and I paid the amt promptly . In december when i went to make the payment I saw that hsbc is charging cash payment for credit card of rs 100.00 which was a shock to me. when i checked with the call center and checked my statements i have been charged for 4 times of cash payment charges. I have clearly informed that i was unaware of this and have asked for reversal( which was for the first time in this). they customer care executive including the service manager were very rude and did not even bother to understand the cm situtation but only kept on telling that they cannot reverse the amt. they never tried to understand my situtation. Pl help and make sure that the officers first understand the cm situtation and then act

HSBC Credit Card — HSBC Credit Card Charges

I am working with Bally Technology, Bangalore. Initially we had a salary account with HSBC. That time we offered a Credit card from HSBC with NO CHARGES whatsoever due to "special tie up" between Bally and HSBC Bank, India. I got a Credit card for self, also, an add on card was provided "free of charge".

I opted for the card as it was free and carried no liability. The subject of membership fees was not mentioned by the agent.

No calls came to me from HSBC and no SMS.As I do not use credit card, the card remained unused.

Since, I don't use the card, i never bothered to look into the e-statements that came to my email address.

Suddenly in 2009, 16 months after the card was issued, I get a SMS that i am liable to pay around 2000 Rs. When i ring up the call center they say the charges are Membership charges along with the late fees for card.

The agent advised me to call the collection center. When called the collection center, they told me to call back the Call center. I repeated the whole story again to the agent, I was put on hold for 15 minutes with no response. They threw their hands in air and said they cant do anything.

The company never bothered me to inform that I was being charged. Also, what happened to the special tie up and special customer thing.

HSBC Credit Card — Cash Payment Fee

I came to know from Credit card statement that they have charged for cash payment which i have made for bill pay.

it means we need to pay according to there norms

if some one have without cheque or on line funds trsfer with net banking

will have to pay extra charges to pay our credit card bills

                        Hello sir,

This complaint is regarding the HSBC collection center. I have been getting real abusive calls from the bank's collection center (o[protected] & [protected]), for a card which is not mine and neither transactions done on it.

The calls became so abusive that I had to take the help of local police and most astounding fact was that the collection agent who was calling me changed not only his name but also the entire story in front of the police inspector. So now I am also not sure whether the card or the transaction amount actually exists.

Sir, please help me sort out this problem.

After September 25th 2009, there were some transactions of about Rs.50,000 which has been done from my card. I informed the Credit Card deptt. as I know after the very first illegal transaction. I have filled all the dispute forms as asked by the service support center. The disputed amount took atleast 2 months to serve you. But before completion of two months, I am getting regular calls twice or thrice in a day for making a payment. I am now tired to give answers to collection department. Please do the needful.

If customers UNITE in India and decide to leave HSBC India in support of their fellow Indian's, who are making complaints about HSBC India then this may make HSBC Plc take action.
They talk about their Global Footprint and their Integrity. Please look at the following sites and see what the Indian people are saying about HSBC behaviour towards them.

Subject: Prolonged delay in the credit card billing dispute resolution

                              Dear Sir,

I am disputing over the entire amount against my credit card which has rapidly mounted around the 9000Rs/- mark till date. I have been following up this case since October 2007 till date with minimal ‘CONCRETE’ response from the HSBC Customer Service department. Each instance I enquire for an explanation on the dispute (via email) , I receive an instant ‘Reference Number’ from HSBC. The reply to the dispute does not contain any kind of concrete analysis.
It all started from the month of October 2007 when I did not receive my statement for the month Aug – Sep 2007 at my official address due to some unknown reasons. But,I received a call from HSBC Collection department at Malad (West) Link road on the 3rd October,2007 requesting to make a payment of 4800Rs/- by the closing hours of 4th October,2007.We fulfilled this request on time & I am attaching a photocopy of the same for your review. From that month onwards we started receiving statement with Late charges, joining fees for the Primary & secondary card.I did speak to your office from Chennai & the executive promised me to reverse the late fees & other additional charges. But as you know, you speak to one person & next time the case needs to be explained from scratch. This process continued till I finally had to travel out of India. My card was blocked but still I was receiving the monthly statements.I replied several times via email & also requested HSBC to send an executive in person to settle the disputed dues during the specified time I would be in India.I did receive a positive response on email but no Concrete action.
This time I have lost my trust in HSBC & made a sincere effort on the 5th June,2009 to call the HSBC Customer Service Centre & settle this prolonged dispute once & for all. I was given different contact numbers. Finally, I spoke to a commanding Assistant Manager named Mr.Ajay Joshi on[protected].He assured me to retrieve the details of the pending payment against which I was accruing interest. Also,he said that if I fail to make a payment of 250Rs/- by the end of 5th June,my case will go to the legal department.I did make a cash payment as you can see in the supporting documents. As it was a old case,he said it will take 1-2 working days for retrieval of the data.I did remind him on the 9th June, but he said 2 more days. This added up to my frustration which compelled me in composing this letter.
HSBC being one of the most coveted & respected MNC Banking company in the
world, I wish to continue as a HSBC “satisfied” customer.Kindly investigate this dispute and provide me with a written analysis of the outcome.

Thank You for your time and attention to this matter.

P.S. AS THE CARD HAS BEEN CLOSED SEVERAL MONTHS AGO,I SHALL NOT ENTERTAIN ANY FURTHER STATEMENTS FROM HSBC HEREAFTER.ALSO,I SHALL NOT BE MAKING ANY FURTHER PAYMENTS TILL THE DETAILS OF THE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ARE SPELLED OUT CORRECTLY.

                              Sincerely, Edward Fernandes

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

I am HSBC customer for the last 7-8 years and hold credit cards (Master and VISA). For major transactions within India as well as abroad, I prefer to use HSBC cards. I always keep track of my purchases and payments.

I had received a bill of RS.19,143.23 against my card VISA Card ending with 2356. Due to official commitments, I paid 2 days late. Since you have realized the money after the due date, in my current statement you have levied Rs.1552.35 as late payment charges and other charges.

Looking to my long association with HSBC and regular in payments in all my past transactions, I would be glad if you can reverse the imposed late payment charge and other charges including taxes of Rs.1552.35. The last date for payment is given as 16th January 2010.

Assuring you of prompt payments in future.

                                Looking forward to your reply

HSBC Credit Card — Levy of Charges and Penalties

HSBC credit card was offered to me as "Lifetime Free Credit card" which meant there was no annual or renewal charges for this card. You can refer to all your transcation record history and confirm that I have never paid any yearly or renewal charges on the same. I have used your credit card for a long time and I have a very clean payment record. I have never delayed or defaulted on any payment due on this credit card.

I was shocked when the bank charged annual fees for this credit card since all other banks in the market were offering this free credit card facility. I immediately called the bank's credit card department and expressed my concern. I was informed that this fees was wrongly charged to me and assured that these would be reversed in due course. However the bank failed to fulfil its commitment inspite of repeated correspondence and assurances to this effect. Finally I requested the bank to discontinue the credit card after having settled all my bills on the same.

Can you please check your records and confirm if the outstanding amount on my credit card is on account of any bills due and not paid by me.
If not, I am not liable to any annual charges and interest levied by the bank due to the reasons mentioned above. Hence I request you to reverse all these charges immediately and confirm your action. I have a clean credit record history and the civil right to maintain it. I would like this matter to be raised to the highest level in the bank if cannot be resolved by you at your level. I would like the concerned authority to take up the matter on priority basis and revert back positively to me. In the event the issue remains unresolved I shall be forced to take stern action against the bank and if required seek compensation for the mental harassment and my reputational damage.

PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR ACTION AND IF THIS MATTER NEEDS TO BE ESCALATED TO THE HIGHER AUTHORITY, PLEASE DO SO SINCE THE MATTER NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED ASAP.

                                Awaiting your response ???????

                                  Hi ,

My father held an HSBC credit Card . He passed away on 25th of Nov '09 . he had dues of some 11000 odd INR . Not being too sure about the amount i paid 11k online . I had also explained the situation to the call center guy who had made a call to make the payment .
Once i recieved the next statement , i came to know that some 6-7 hundred INR was still left , These guys had put late paymentcahrge and service and finance charges and the amount of some 17 - 18 hundred INR .

I called uo the call center of HSBC thrice .Twice they hung up on me . Even after expalining the situation those guys came up with questions how can you forget the amount that had to be paid , not understanding that it was just few days that i had lost my father and still i had made the payments .

I dont think that i am liable to make any payments .Still i went ahead and made the payments . All they would do is black mark his name in CIBIL . anyways he would not be taking any loans or credit cards .

But i am amazed that even after being an MNC they operate like this .. It would be better to interact with a local bank . Atleast this kind of behavior is expected from them and hence it would not be a shock.

                                  Regards,

Due to personal reason (Lost the job for couple of months), I made the settlement for HSBC credit card on 25 of June, 2007 as per the settlement document received from HSBC bank. But the executive collected the cheques from me had mentioned 26 of June, 2007 (i.e. 1 day late) on the payment reciepts as he said that it is not possible for him to deposite the money on 25 of June, 2007 as bank were closed in the evening. I too missed to check the settlement date in the settlement letter but I verbally confirmed number of times that I have nothing pending now against my credit card. Now after 2 years when I applied for loan, I got refusal as the HSBC bank has updated the status on CIBIL stating Rs.26, 797 outstanding against my credit card account. On enquiring to HSBC bank they state that as I made the payment a day late then the date mentioned in settlement letter so accordingly your settlement stands null and void. After requesting HSBC bank n-number of times stating the fact that it is not my fault as I made the payment on 25 of June, 2007 but your executive had put the date 26 on the receipts, there is no hearing. I had mailed atleast 10 times to HSBC bank but they are not responsding. Everytime they are giving excuses like my phone is not reachable or they will call me with in 4-6 working days. But still there is no staisfactory response from their end. Please help.

                                    FYI
I have settlement letter as well as the receipts with me as well.

I had a credit card of HSBC bearing the no.[protected] .After using the card i made the cash payment few months against statement.
After sometime as because of some unavoidable circumstances was unable to make the payment asked the bank for settlement if they have any option for the same. One day a executive Mr. Sajid, Mob. No.[protected], of M/s Bilkish Associates Pvt. Ltd, Andheri, (West) Mumbai came to me on 16.05.2008 with a settlement letter no.MUM/WO/MAY-08/15/MFS dt .May 15, 2008 where clearly mentioned INR 12000/- is to be made on or before 19th may 2008 in one installment.
Accordingly Payment of Rs.12000/-given Mr. Sajid under CHQ. No.813167 dt.17.05.08 of HDFC Bank and also the amount debited from my account. Mr. Sajid has also given me one receipt of HSBC bearing the no.CPD3 0204216 dt.16.05.08. under which received my Chq. Afterwards as per the commitment made on the HSBC settlement letter neither given me the zero balance statement nor given any no dues clearance, not only that even after receiving the settlement amount not updated to CIBIL, as a result of which my name has not been removed.
It has been observed from many instances that in most of the cases banks are agreed upon the settlement but even after collecting the money from the customer and not up dating CIBIL and harassing the customer.
Hence, I urged before you for justice with the removal of my name from the CIBIL

                                    Thnx & rgds,

                                    GOPAL DAS

                                    Dear all,

Be very careful dealing with Blikish Associates please see this I found in Indian express .

The Terror Squad (ATS) arrested a suspected Pakistani spy on Tuesday for allegedly passing on vital information about Army establishments to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) since 2005.

Karachi resident Fahad Imam (30) was arrested from Mumbai where he had been staying since August 2008. Significantly, Imam has voted in this Lok Sabha elections — he has a genuine voter identity card issued to him in a fake name from January.

The ATS has recovered documents related to the Army, Personal Financial Information, maps of prohibited areas and a diary containing names and addresses of people living in different Indian and Pakistani cities from Imam’s possession. Besides, a driving license issued from Sikar in Rajasthan, a mobile phone, a motorcycle and money receipts of the Western Union Bank from Pakistan have also been found on him
he DIG, Rajiv Sabbarwal (ATS), said: “A Class IX dropout, Imam s revealed that he was recruited by one Debt recovery agency “Blikish Associates”, an ISI Sister concern in Karachi in 2004. After an extensive training, he was sent to India through Wagah border with a Pakistani passport on April 16, 2005.”
During interrogation, Imam said the ISI official had given him a ticket of an India-Pakistan cricket match to be held in Delhi. He had crossed the border on the pretext of watching the match. He stayed in Surat and at last in Mumbai’s Bhaindar area. Imam had visited to Shimla, Ambala, Patiala, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Agra and districts bordering Nepal to collect and pass on information through email and fax.

HSBC Bank — cases even after made payment

Sir, My name is Sreekumara Sarma . I had two HSBC credit cards. I made the settlements of the cards payments.Initially they involed my son too in the case. later many days/ years contact ,they removed his name( they says so.)
While making payments , few cheques returned, but all payment made for the same and obtained NIL balance certificate from the bank. Still the bank were cunducting the cases u/s of the negotiable instrument act. for three to four years. in various ways they harrassed me. since 2007 to 2010 they conducted cases. They ,also have reported a huge sum as due from me to the CIBIL (some thing like ten times) Can I ask for the compensation for the loss /damages and agany I faced . ? The bank many a time not at all replay to me correspomdence , even they reply, they say , it is I have not made the payment in time.
Sir, I made the payments. I have received the nil balance certificate. 1).So no due the bank can claim from me. 2). They can not run the case after clear the dues by issuing the certificate of NIL balance. 3). They have not withdrwan case in the court of law.till 2010 April. Please note :- .
some cases came to the board even after the payment of returned chaques made.
What is law says. can I claim for the compensation.?

                                      HSBC Credit Card

No Bills from 4 Months - Harassing by sms and phone calls. My credit card limit was 16000
                                      Hi,

I am holding two HSBC credit cards no. [protected] (Primary &Sub) in favor of shishu pal Singh & Roshni Yadav I didn’t receive the bills from
Aug’09. And now they accumulated the interests and service charges and everything and made a big amount. Two month back they sent me a sms asking to make payment before they will file a case against me for which I replied back asking how much is the amount. I can’t pay without sending bill for 4 months.
I didn't get any reply. I got the call & sms from HSBC after one month and the first sentence they told me. You will have to pay amount charged by us.
Without intimating what and details. I told you people didn't send the bill and accumulated the amount. I will pay the amount I used and little more. They asked me to pay highly charged. I told I pay 14600 & interest /- it is my full & final amount on closing time & telephonic discussion I used if okay come and collect money immediately with NOC & full & final they told we will get back to you. But I didn’t receive any call from them and suddenly I called him for outstanding & bill “somebody replied me the will sent all bills in email ID provided by us. They keep on harassing. I didn’t want fraud. I called many times but unfortunately call disconnected by executives. They didn't reply. I am unable to pay bigger amount. Please save me from bank harassment.

In these words my intention is settlement not complain

your co-operation will be very highly appreciated in this regards
