Dear sir/mam

I have submitted my salary cheque in ICICI bomnahalli branch on bangalore at 1st november 2008.
Next day i got a call from an icici guy that cheque could not be clear because, i have put the SBI account number on the form.He said me after three working day you can collect your cheque back from the same branch but when i went there and asked the same they told me your cheque is not here and then they suggested me to block the cheque, but at that time that was not possible for my company.Then i went at the ICICI MG road Bangalore, from where the cheque was issued, i talked that enquery guy he told me put one application and after three working day u can collect it, 29th november i dropped the application form and after three working day i didnt get my cheque then again he asked me for three more working day but now today is 12th december and i didnt get my cheque yet.

I m just running here and there each time.Please suggest me what i should do now.

    Sir,

    I have recieved a call on dt 28.11.2008 vide landline no.[protected] from Megha asking that your PIN code keeps hold for activation of Icici credit card. Now you will recieve another confirmation call from icici lombard heath insurance you have to answer the call as "YES" & after 10 minute you will recive 2nd call for PIN generation & you can denied for health insurance at this 2nd call, accordingly i have denied for health insurance. On 29.11.2008 i recived a message from icici bank that you have made a transaction Rs. 6732.00 on 28.11.2008 on icici card for ICICI Lombard & on 05.12.2008 i have recieved health insurance policy.
    Please cancelled this policy & reveresed Rs. 6732.00 from my iCICI Credit card .

      ICICI Amex card — Payment not credited

      I am holding an ICICI Amrican EXpress card .. I made a payment of Rs 3700 through online from my friend s savings account(ICICI) on August 19th 2008. Today i sSeptember 25th and the Money still not credited to my account and also debited from my friends account. Also my credit card charged with late payment. I am in USA and i am callling everyday to customer care and every day they are coming up with new story.Finally they are saying that i need to call Biller to get my account credited. when i called them they are not a in a postion to give m eany contact no or the name of biller and they are bugging me like anything.

      I am not sure why they are asking me to contact an unknown biller when my card belongs to ICICI and and i have done payment through ICICI only.

      they says that ICICI is tie up with up AMEX and i need to contact AMEX people only. when i contacted AMex people they says that they do not have any of my card details with them.

      Any body please let me know if any idea.

      Credit card BLOCKED but getting payment due every month
      I had cancelled my ICICI Bank credit card in 2005 bcoz i was getting bills after the due date and i was charged everytime with interest charges on late payment, inspite of sending back my cancelled credit card to ICICI bank, ICICI bank kept on piling my interest charges over the years and now they are suddenly harrassing me and asking me for Rs. 10000 for the interest charges. These recovery agents and a lady (saying that she is an advocate) are calling me on my mobile day and night and sometimes verbally abuse me speak very bluntly and arriogantly as if they are extorting money from me, they also call me at my office and warn me that they will call my HR and talk to my boss and get me expelled from my job and also calling & harassing my inlaws. Please help. I am a lady and am already due for maternity, please save me from such unwanted harassment. i am the only working member of my family and it has become very difficult to manage, as i am already due for my maternity. I also have a patient in the house who is suffering from long-illness and i have to support her bills for the chemotherapy sessions the person is taking apart from the hospital and medical bills (at Tata Memorial Hospital). Please help me. I am really in deep financial trouble.

        One of the improvements in Indian banking is the feature to make a cash deposit in any branch of a bank anywhere.

        I have used the facilities of State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, IDBI Bank, and Union Bank and ICICI Bank.

        All the above banks except ICICI Bank provide you with instant credit at zero charge .

        ICICI Bank surprises you with a minimum charge of Rs 100 /- and an additional charge of Rs 5/- per 100 + a service tax of 12.24 %, the time required to credit your account is a minimum of 2 hours . They title it as Any Where Charge (AWN)

        Dont make the mistake of getting a sensible or a coherent response from the ICICI bank staffers . Most dont have a clue and show you a small A4 size printout that states that the rule was in force since 01 August 2006.First deposit for the month is FREE and all subsequent deposits you fork out their exorbitant fees to make a deposit in cash into your account at a Non Base branch (for the common person it means any other than the branch where you have your account ) . --- Can you beat it ?

        PS : Remember this when you see Shahrukh Khan on TV this is one of the methods ICICI uses to pay SRK's professional fees

        sir,
        every month i deposit some amount against my car loan in Durgapur branch as i am working in Durgapur.but my actual account is in Rourkela br.so pl tell me, what minimum charges bank will demand from me.what is the best possible way to avoid such charges.
        WILL ICICI BANK Charges levied for Quick cash deposits.IF YES THEN HOW MUCH AND WHY?
        ICICI bank does not levy any charge for these types of services. These services are meant for the convenience of the customer. Charge may have been deducted for some other reasons.
        ICICI has charged
        171 bugs for deposit of 1000...can you believe it...no other bank has this...and they say that they dont have to inform the customer about these charges anytime they want because of signing clause doc during the ac opening..cant we sue this guys for this extra smart charges

        Any where service doesn't mean u ll charge 5%+14% service tax every 100 rupees deposited over basic 100
        This is too much that is charged
        100 rs service charges are just more than sufficient.. It doesn't take you guys much o[censored]r efforts even to deposit the money!!

          During last Diwali i purchased a whirlpool washing machine and refrigerator costing 26000/- from M/s. Malaika Appliances (Dahisar East Branch). Malaika had given advertisement in news paper that said products will be available in 12 EMIs. I paid through my two ICICI Bank credit cards [protected] & [protected] amount paid was Rs.14000/- & Rs.12000/- respectively (Total amount was Rs.26000/-). I was informed by Manager of Malaika Appliances that there will be processing fees @ 9% on invoice value(i.e. 9% of 26000/-) charged by ICICI Bank as I am getting these product under 12 EMI, I agreed for the same and i made payment, When my Credit cards were swiped i got charge slips that i have to sign, on these charge slip it clearly printed that processing fees will be @ 9%. When i received my monthly statements for both the cards I was shocked to see that Processing fees were charged @12.5% on both the cards(they over charged me approx.Rs.910 and if we calculate taxes based on this excessive amount then its more than Rs.1000/-). I immediately contacted Mr. Mahendra Savardekar the manager of Malaika Appliances and gave him proof a copy of original charge slip and statement copies of both credit cards, he clearly said that these fees are charged by ICICI bank and its not their (Malaika's) fault still he would talk to his seniors. Then i tried to contact ICICI bank but they replied very rudely that they were not responsible for this issue and talk to the vendors i.e. Malaika Appliances. Again I called up Mr. Mahendra and he gave me offer that it was wrongly charged by ICICI Bank themselves and Malaika can adjust the excess amount charged to me in my next purchase if i buy something from Malaika Store. Then i again sent mail to ICICI Bank Customer Care dept and requested them to talk to me but instead of calling me thay simply sent mail that "we were unable to contact you on yr mobile number" and that's a white lie, still i sent another mail to them and gave them my 2 mobile numbers but they never contacted me and they even didn't replied me by email. This shows how stubborn & arrogant and reckless people are working in ICICI Bank.Two officers who earlier replied my mail was Mr. L Ratnakar & Ms. Jayashree & reference number given by ICICI Bank for my complaint is -- 'ICICICARE=[protected]'

          I request that ICICI Bank should refund the excess fees that they have charged to me and these cheaters should be penalized and they should pay Rs.500000/- as a compensation to me for the stress and trauma i have been through since last Diwali. Unless this cheaters are made to pay heavy amount to victim customer like me they wont improve. They may have cheated number of customers like this so they should be forced to pay me Rs.500000/- so that they wont dare to cheat anybody in future the way they have cheated me

          even these people donot reply and not giving proper answars
          what are doing senior officers? there are just giving you go another bank brach.

            I have home loan from ICICI bank account. I am seeing that ICICI is pretty agreesive while increasing rate of interest, but while reducing they are not following RBI instructions. ICICI used to charge near about 2% extra than other private sector banks. Recently I have been offered by an ICICI Home loan finance Chichwad branch, if I want to reduce ROI by 0.75% I have to pay them approx 30, 000 Rs then they may provide ICICI lombard insurance + reduced ROI 0.75% and commited me that I will be treated as new customer. So in future ROI may reduced on top of it.
            Now my question is why ICICI differentiate between new and Old customer. Who has given them such rights to do so? Is this under any legal complaince that new loan holder and old has different way of treatment? Please provide more information if such kind of previledge RBI provides to banks, I never seen such kind of treatment in other nationalize or other Private sector banks. My question is, does RBI regulate on their way of working, facilatating with end customer. Or banks do have rights to make their own way of rules and regulation in terms deciding ROI for different category of customers, like different peoples have different ROI. Now a days RBI has taken so many good steps to facilate end customers, but the banks like ICICI are not providing releif to their customers. Till now, ICICI Bank has announced a cut for a category of home loans. While the interest rate has been lowered by as much as 1.5 percentage point, the lower rate is only for new borrowers taking loans up to Rs 20 lakh. Then waht is use of RBI's initative against lowering CRR and repo rate. RBI should moniter such fraud banks like ICICI, weather they really providing facilty govern by RBI or not.

              I gave two cheques on 5-11-08 for my bills Cheque no. 012932 for Rs 2000/- Cheque No. 012931 for Rs 2550/- this cheque was for chequein select account.

              Your bank by mistake credited this cheque to credit card account where my credit balance was Rs 2606.17/- In my statement 22nd Nov for cashin select you have penalised me Rs 600/- and extra interest of Rs 251.55/-

              As the mistake has been from your account kindly wave this amount immediately

                  Please note that our employee Anjalai Vali K, bearing Pay Direct Card No: [protected] and Card Ref No: [protected] was unable to withdraw her salary from the ATM. WHen she inserted her ATM card in the ATM, the screen became blank and she was unable to withdraw her salary. She has tried the same at different ATMs but was unable to withdraw the salary.                       Do not use, ICICI Bank's recently introduced smsNcash feature. They do not send the money to the recipient and they just deduct your money from your account.

                      ICICI is the worst bank, I ever banked with. They do not have proper customer care service or people will give attention. It has been more than two months, since I sent money through smsNcash, the receipient has not received the money, and my complaints to the bank are not being answered.

                      Beware, always keep record whatever you are dealing with ICICI. They become like a Nigerian scam.

                      Yes, I also faced similar problem. ICICI bank did not check the system properly before it is making the feature live. The smsNcash system is utter failure, the money to whom I sent is unable to disperse the amount from the ATM and when I try to cancel the payment it is not displayed either in active / or withdrawn / or in Cancel. But the money is deducted from my account including service charge. If the mony is not withdrawn it should be listed under ACTIVE or if it is withdrawn it should be listed under WITHDRAWN or it is cancelled it should be listed under CANCEL, but no where it is listed. Where is my money??????

                      yes I do agree with you.I also a victim of ICICI's brutal customer behaviours. This is the worst bank and I expect all Indians to understand the profit motive of this bank. Mrs. Chanda Kochar is getting massive salary by looting its poor customers like farmers and private sector employees. We Indians to understand the cheating behind this and should act against this united. I strongly disagree with RBI that they have control over all the banks in India. Finance minister to act very immediately against the brutal looting by ICICI bank in the way of Cheque book charge, Cheq bouncing charge, Debit card charge, etc etc..
                      I have used their sms n cash facility many times and i found it very helping. Also they are charging a very nominal service charge for the same. Never have i experienced any errors regarding the facility.
                      I had made the transaction through smsncash but payee is unable to receive the cash. Message appearing as Transaction blocked. it is very surprised that even my account has got deducted.

                        Dear Sir,

                        I am a regular customer of ICICI bank credit card from last 18th months (approximately) and having an ICICI bank gold credit card with number ending xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-1006, and around ten days back I got a call from ICICI Mumbai branch (Tel:[protected],[protected] and they told that I have an pre-approved loan available on my credit card of Rs. 49, 400/-, they told if you want the loan then confirm the verification and I had done the same. And on Monday 16th of June 2008, I got the banker’s cheque of Rs. 49, 400/- and I had deposit the same in my saving a/c held with State Bank of Saurashtra(SBS), East Punjabi bang, New Delhi-110026, generally clearing was made with in three working days and on 18th of June 2008 (3rd day of cheque deposit) by the chance I was in my bank and I was told by the bank employee that your banker’s cheque of ICICI Bank has been cancelled by the ICICI Bank, Jhandewalan branch (Slip attach on banker’s cheque). And employee of SBS bank returned me the cancelled bankers’ cheque. Then I called ICICI bank customer care and after so many calls they had told the banker’s cheque is still active as per their record and I can re-deposit the banker’s cheque in my saving a/c, but the cancelled cheque (lying with me) had written with red pen cancelled on it can not be re-deposit as I think so, then they told if you want a new banker’s cheque then place the request to cancel the previous banker’s cheque (which one is already cancelled and lying with me) and then they will re-issue new banker’s cheque to me with in four working days (Ref. No. SR70077991 dt. 18th June 2008) and I have no more option left so I had request for the same because when they called me first time for the loan then I plan something for my personal need and committee some people to give there payment around 19th or 20th of this month, now I am mentally disturb by all these because I am gone to face many trouble and it cost to down my reputation in the market. Further to tell you that after cancellation of banker’s cheque my bank SBS has charged Rs. 70/- as cancellation charges from my saving a/c no. [protected].

                        The new banker’s cheque is credit successfully, but who’s liable for all the harassments caused and bank charges which is debited from my saving a/c

                        Sir I request you to kindly look into the matter and punish ICICI Bank Ltd. for all the harassment.

                        I, Shyam Jha, having a zero balanced salary saving account with Axis Bank,
                        Barakhambha br., c.p., delhi, my a/c no. is [protected]. I had deposited worth Rs.
                        50000/- in my a/c dated 09/07/09 & given a cheque to my broker M/S Bull Brothers for share
                        trading. I had used debit card last year but due to load shed my debit card holded in ATM
                        machine dated 04/02/09 (approx). I informed to customer care to block my debit card. After
                        this I have not used my debit card or issued my debit card with Bank. In the month of July'09
                        when i deposited Rs. 50000/- they charged all fine & a.m.c. cahrges. Due to that reason my
                        cheque bounced and i incurred losses in share. when i complaint it to axis bank customer care
                        then they reverse back all charges with taking responsibilty that this is their fault. My
                        complain no. is 9299750 in axis bank. I am not satisfied with this bcz i incurred losses in
                        share & also my credit damage in bank & with broker also. So, I want compensation for this
                        type of clerical mistake which damage my image & heart me.

                          I AM ICICI HOME LOAN CUSTOME FROM 2005.
                          MY LOAN AC NO. LBHYD[protected]. FLOATING INTEREST.
                          AT THE TIME OF SANCTION RATE OF INTEREST IS 8%. (FRR-0.75%). LOAN AMOUNT IS RS. 5 LACS ONLY.
                          AS ON TODAY THE INTEREST RATE IS INCREASED TO 13.5% P.A. WITHOUT ANY INTIMATION.
                          RECENTLY RBI REDUCED INTEREST RATES. THAN ICICI INFORMED MEDIT THAT THEY ARE REDUCING 1.50% INTEREST FOR NEW HOME LOANS ONLY. I HAD CONTACT BANK PEOPLE FOR REDUCING THE RATE OF INTEREST, BUT THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO DO THAT. ALL OTHER BANKS MAXIMUM HOME LOAN INTEREST RATE IS 11.00%.(NOW IT IS REDUCED TOO).

                          ICICI Home Loan — No Reduction in Interest Rates.

                          I had taken a home loan 3 years back with 9.5% -10 %ROI and now the ROI is ?.I have not been informed about any change in intrest Rates by the bank. Only I ask for the provisional Certificate from the bank where i see the Interest Rate is Very high.The Bank is trying to fool the general public by Misguiding them.For any information required related to Housing loan the team doesnt have any information.Even the team dont know when the Interest Rate would be reduced.Everytime there is a change in Policy. My Opinion is that RBI should intervene into the private sector banking operations.My feeling is that Bank is trying to cover the loss due to Lehman Brothers .
                          I have a Home loan with HDFC bearing Loan Account No.[protected]. I would like to understand as when the PLR hikes, the ROI is increase automatically that too no information to the consumer. And if the case is visa versa, i.e. HDFC bank does not reduce the ROI automatically, I need to pay 0.5% of the outstanding amount to make the ROI reduced.
                          Then what is meaning of Floating rate of interest if the ROI is not maintained base on PLR ratings?

                          i have took housing loan of rs. 5,50,000/-in jan,2005. from above company.
                          the company has given me offer letter,in that they had mention the fixed rate of interest,that
                          was 8.25%.
                          but after that they had made aggrement in that ,in my copy ,both floating and fixed both were ticked
                          by them.
                          subsequently since 2005 jan, the rate of interest increased by them, now i had inquired at above bank
                          they told presently your interest rate is 12%.
                          by this way i had paid till date more than 2.5 laks as interst .i have asked their officers,regarding reduce rate ,they told we can offer at the rate 8.75% ,but for that i have to pay 1.75% of pending
                          loan amount as process charge ,also i have to take another insurance policy,for that they had add
                          about 50,000/- more in the pending loan amount, for that i was not aware.
                          so ,again i went to the bank , told them ,not to process for the reduce rate,i was too much frustrated
                          ,so i had filled up the request letter for closure,so i can try with other banks,who provides loan
                          at reduce rate.

                          i will request you, kindly advise me, in above case, as i am too much fadeup.

                          ICICI HOME FINANCE COMPANY LTD — No reduction in interest even after deducting processing fee

                          Dear Sir,
                          I have taken a home loan from ICICI in Oct 2004 @ floating rate. When interest rate became too much I went to them last year in Feb and they reduced it after taking 0.5% switch fee and making me sign a supplementary agreement.
                          When I went there again in May 2009, they asked me to apply as a new customer and pay 0.5% processing fee on outstanding loan amount.
                          Even after doing so, interest rate is same and when I wrote to their customer service, I was asked to meet their Regional Manager, who is now asking me to pay 1.93% processing fee to get the rate reduced and is expressing shock as to how my check for the processing fee paid in June got deposited in the bank. Clearly, someone from their office only has done it and ICICI should take responsibility for the same and compensate me, but they have the audacity to ask me to pay more!
                          Please...if you can help me to solve this problem and direct me about the necessary steps to be taken!

                          ICICI Home Finance Company Ltd — Regarding foreclosure of home loan

                          I have borrowed loan from ICICI Home Finance company ltd. for my home 2 years back. Now i am foreclosing the same. As today i read article stating discontinue of pre-payment penalty from NHB dated 18/10/2010 (ref no-NHB(ND)/DRS/POL-NO.36/2010. So in accordance i visited the ICICI branch. But they were reluctant to do so. They even denied receipt of any such circular from NHB. Now I am in a situation where I cant get any co-operation from them atleast. So what should i do???

                            This complaint was initially posted on 6th Nov. 2008 and no concrete action was taken by ICICI. I am posting it again to remind the concerned authorities to take concrete action. This shows how the big companies / banks harass the consumers in their own interest and escapes.

                            I have taken home loans from ICICI Home Finance in 2002. further I also took the ICICI credit card, car loan and opened the bank account in 2002. Initially I was proud to be the part of ICICI family. ICICI is excellent in following up with customers but harass customers once the loan was reimbursed or the account was opened.

                            The harassment initially started in 2007 with the customer care of ICICI bank due to their rude, unprofessional behaviour, untimely attitude.

                            I went to ICICI DLF - 1, Gurgaon branch several times for some transactions. I have been harassed by the Branch Manager for one hour in public without any fault of mine. when I took this matter up with the higher authorities of ICICI Bank, no action was taken. I can provide the proofs of correspondence upon request.

                            In second instance, I went to ICICI Home Finance in 2008 to know why there is the difference in the home loan interest rates for new customers and existing customers. To my surprise, nobody bothered to reply. Still this query is left unanswered, why existing borrowers are paying EMI's for home loans @ 13.5 - 14% p.a. whereas for new borrowers home loans is available at @ app. 11% p.a. Why ICICI has not reduced the home loan interest rates inspite of the assurance from COO to the PM whereas other banks have reduced the same? There is some problem in defining the rules to handle banks. There should be same slab of home loan interest rates for new borrowers and existing borrowers.

                            In another instance, my CAR met an accident in 2008. When I called up customer care for insurance claim, they came for verification of damaged CAR after three days. I paid the money to repair my CAR inspite of its insuranc from ICICI Lombard.

                            I requst the Lagal authorities to take strict action against all ICICI units.

                            Kindly refer to the complaint lodged by me on 6th Nov. 008 regarding various issues with ICICI, I received numerous calls from ICICI. But to my surprise, instead of resolving the issues most of the persons asked whether I have lodged the complaint in the consumer court or not.                             I want to complain against Mr Mohit Sharma, Emp No 130914, located in Green Park, N Delhi branch who insisted me to change my pre emi plan loan into emi plan by persuading me to sign documents for the same and loan will be downsized for the amount disbursed and undisbursed loan would be resanctioned for the same projects. I have now received the demand letter from the builder and nothing is there to get the cheque for the same. This is something which i was not interested but due to malafide intention of the employee of ICICI, I now feel trapped in the same.                               ICICI has always been on the forefront when it comes to increasing the home loan rates for exsiting customers when ever there is an increase in the PLR but never it decreases the same for existing customers when the RBI announces reduction in PLR. i dont understand if ICICI has no obligation towards RBI and if RBI cant hold ICICI accountable for this action. We definitely need to do something about this before its too late. It looks like a cheating bank. RBI has recently announced a reduced PLR but ICICI has announced a rate cut for new customers only. i Dont understand the reason here. I strongly believe that either the government or RBI should take strict action against this bank
                              I fully agree with the above complaint. In fact during my tenure of 5 year loan from ICICI I changed my agreement twice (after paying a processing fee @ 0.5% of outstanding amount) to take the benefit of the reduced rate. ICICI policies are not transparent and they follow dual standards i.e. with new and existing customers.

                                I have taken home loan from ICICI Bank with interest rate of 9.5% with floating rate in sep. 2007 for 20 yrs tenure.
                                Loan Amount-1710000rs, EMI- 15500rs, Tenure- 20yrs.
                                Now, periodically when the interest rates went up they increased my floating rates.
                                And today i am paying with interest rate of 13.5%. for 42yrs with increase in tenure & even EMI.
                                Loan Amount-1710000rs, EMI-19070, Tenure- 42yrs.

                                Now, the main story...
                                when the market came down from last 6-months they are offering interest rate of 11.5% & surprisingly they are offering for only new customers to attract them.
                                I am still paying with 13.5% interest rate. Nothing has happened even after visiting the bank.
                                They have their policy when the interest rates go up they increase it but when the rates come down they don't lower it on floating rates for OLD CUSTOMERS. So, what is the meaning of floating rate we take...
                                This bank never told me clearly about their policy while lending loan.

                                I HATE THIS BANK POLICY
                                SO NEVER TAKE A HOME LOAN FROM ICICI BANK LTD!!!

                                ICICI Bank Home Loan — Home Loan FIR keep increasing but never comes down for OLD CUSTOMERS

                                I have taken home loan from ICICI Bank with interest rate of 9.5% with floating rate in Oct. 2006 for 20 yrs tenure.
                                Loan Amount-1710000rs, EMI- 16024rs, Tenure- 20yrs.

                                Now, periodically when the interest rates went up they increased my floating rates.

                                And today i am paying with interest rate of 13.5%. for 42yrs with increase in tenure & even EMI.
                                Loan Amount-1710000rs, EMI-19070, Tenure- 42yrs.

                                Now, the main story...
                                when the market came down from last 6-months they are offering interest rate of 11.5% & surprisingly they are offering for only new customers to attract them.
                                I am still paying with 13.5% interest rate. Nothing has happened even after visiting the bank.
                                They have their policy when the interest rates go up they increase it but when the rates come down they don't lower it on floating rates for OLD CUSTOMERS.

                                ICICI bank never told me about the policy that they never lower down the interest rates for old customers when the interest rates go down while taking Home Loan from them.

                                So, what is the meaning of floating rate i have taken from the bank...
                                I could have gone for the fixed interest rates that time which i was getting for 11.5%

                                I am SIVAPRASAD, I taken the homeloan @9% present they are charging 13% none of the bank is charging this much rate. Whenever increse the rate RBI the bank immediately increse but when RBI decrease the rates forget the existing customers. They attaract the new people with some of lower interest rates. what is the meaning of Floting rate in ICICI bank scenario. Ultimate aim is how to cheat the customers. They robbed the people.
                                Absolutely agreeing with the fact.REQUESTING EVERY ONE NOT TO TAKE HOME LOAN FROM ICICI BANK.
                                They are the cheaters in there each and every services and Products I am surprised why RBI is not making any tough decision against them

                                  I’m holding a credit card of ICICI Bank. 2 months back I have received a call from ICICI Bank credit cards division offering me an Insurance Policy from their sibling company ICICI Lombard.
                                  This policy will be linked with my credit card. They told me that they are sending the Insurance documents. Once I send the signed document accepting the terms and conditions, then only they charge against credit card for the policy.

                                  They have asked a pre approval over phone to block the credit balance for the insurance. With this approval they have directly issued a policy and started taking EMI against the card.
                                  Now when I have asked the credit cards division to block the transaction, they are saying you have to cancel the policy then the Insurance will pay back the money directly to me.

                                  The insurance company gave me one surprising news, saying without taking a payment we can’t issue the insurance. That is why we charged your credit card issued a policy. Now if you have to cancel the policy, we will charge the cancellation fee.

                                  The credit cards division gave me all the false information, made me bare the charges of Insurance policy, and they are not stopping the transaction at all.

                                  Even i have the same problem without any confirmation icici lombard insurance emi was paid thru my icici credit card now i am going for settlement where iam finding huge amount for settlement which is very difficult to pay...
                                  Since I have repaid the total amount of the credit card no.:

                                  I request u to kindly cancel the above mentioned credit card(s) and inform me immediately.

                                  ICICI Bank — forcibly gave me insurance policy

                                  Icici is such a disgusting company.They cheat their customers by making false promises.Once I got a call frm credit cards dept saying that due to my regular payments I am offered an isurance policy.I said him that i dont require the policy but he said that it has been issued on my name and it can be cancelled only after i get the docs and he even said that ur voice request for the cancellation has been recorded and i the blocked amount in the creit card would be reverted in 2months.
                                  After 2months I have even waited for 2 more months expecting it to get cancelled but it didnt happen n when I called them back they said that dept no longer exists there and they can take the request now and i had to pay huge amount for the cancellation as wel..this is how private banks works..they somehow want to sell their policies.For that they dont mind playing these cheap tricks.I am jst one among the victims.There could be many more so jst watch out guys if any bank calls u offering u some policies or cards.

                                    I had received a statement on 8 th of Nov - 2008. That statement was 21 st oct 2008, before that I had not received a statement of sep-2008. and on the 10 th nov-2008 I had dropped a cheque of Rs.4313/- and up till now I have no trace about my lost cheque with ICICI drop box dropped at charkop branch. Now I am getting threats that you have to pay Rs. 7944.67 I had repeatedly requested them to send me the statement but they are not sending till date.
                                    Hoping that you will help me out of this mesh created by ICICI bank.

                                      Subject: Serious compliant of malpractice in charging of interest

                                      I have taken a housing loan from ICICI bank, the details of which are as under:

                                      1. Loan Account No. : LBNAG [protected]
                                      2. Name : Julia Mohapatra
                                      3. Date of Birth : 06/02/1969
                                      4. Current EMI : Rs.10, 000/-
                                      5. Original Loan Amount : Rs.415, 000/-
                                      6. Current Outstanding Amount : Rs 353, 912/-
                                      7. Current Rate of Interest Charged : 15.75 %

                                      The above home loan was ‘in principle’ sanctioned to me vide ICICI Home Finance Loan No. 0181510 dated 12th September 2002. The loan tenure was 180 months. The rate of interest chargeable as on that date was 9.75 per cent. Since the rate of interest was adjustable, it was 0.5 percent less than the ICICI home prime lending rate of 10.25 percent. On this basis the EMI was fixed at 4588/- per month which has been regularly paid by me.
                                      However, recently i.e. on 27/9/2008, I ascertained from your Bank that I am being charged an interest rate of 15.75 percent on my Home Loan. As a result, my entire EMI was going towards repayment of interest and the principal was not being reduced. Inspite of all my efforts to obtain a clarification on the basis of the rate of interest being charged from me, I have been stonewalled and ICICI Bank neither through its Call Centres nor the Branch office at Pune are willing to reply.

                                      In view of this I am constrained to request you to kindly intervene and direct your officers to clarify/intimate the following:
                                      (i) The rate of interest being charged to me from 24/9/2002 till date along with details of date-wise change in the interest rate charged on home loans.
                                      (ii) The ICICI Home Prime Lending Rate (HPLR) for the period from 2002 till date indicating the date of each change in ICICI home prime lending rate. The basis on which ICICI arrives at its HPLR may also be intimated.
                                      (iii) Clarification on why intimation regarding change in interest rate was not given to me from time to time.
                                      (iv) Clarification regarding why intimation of necessity of increasing my EMI so that the term of repayment would remain 180 months was not given to me.
                                      (v) I am now informed that the prepayment fees will be charged at the rate of 2.25 percent whereas the loan agreement vide Schedule B Para E(h) specifies the full prepayment fees at the rate of 2 percent. Kindly clarify the reason for change in a condition on the basis of which the Home Loan Agreement was signed by me.

                                      This is Deepak from Chennai. Whatever you told is absolutely true. I also took loan in ICICI in 2006 @ 7% pa but now repaying at 12.5%. When the bank increased the rates when other banks did, it is liable to decrase the same as well when other peers do.
                                      Also RBI has no control with any of the banks. The concept of "floating" means fluctuations as per market conditions. Now the banks are reducing the interest rate for new loans but nobody is caring for existing loans. The concept of "floating" doesn't make any sense at all.
                                      Now that you are an existing ICICI home loan customer, you can avail a new interest rate of 9.75%. The details of the same are given in the link below
