dear sir,
i am using the above mentioned credit card but now i want to cancel these card because i am suffering unhealthy as i am a handicap i am not able to run my business due to my health condition and not able to pay the amount so please allow me to settle my card as three installments i have given one payment of rs 5000/- by cheque and your receipt no is c[protected] and next two installments will be made after receiving your full and final settlement letter and i had already given a request to your executive with the cheque on 24/10/2008
please make it as soon as possible

    i am having icici bank credit card they transferred reward points from icici to i mint account i redeemed 5500 points for micro wave Owen on[protected] i received product on[protected] it was damaged i called at the same time to i mint they told me that they will replace it within 15 days till now it has not been replaced i have called hundred times every time they give same answer, product will get replaced within next two or three days what to do know?

    Gift 360 — defective item

    i bought a watch, tie, napkin and cufflink prodect from gift360, the watch has been stop working even sfter one month, i complain to company but didnot get reply till time.
    I have not received the AVI convertor for q13 Ramos MP4 Player as I was informed that I would have receive that by
    one month, Six months passed away but i'm yet to receive the software.

    I do not agree with you guys. The service rendered by Gift 360 to me was outstanding. They delivered the product to me at 9:30pm as I had to leave for my sister's wedding the following day. There team leader Mr Edwin gave me a complete support over phone. I am really thankful to them.

      I have an ICICI Bank credit card and had given an application for address change at their branch when I changed my address. The bank never sent me any statement on the new address for now more than a year. Now, suddenly they deducted around Rs. 11, 000 from my savings account (for which I get the statement at my new address). On talking to the customer care they told me that some amount was pending on my card and then there was hefty interest and finance changes which they deducted from my account. They took all the effort to link my savings bank account and make debits without any consent. If they had the right intentions they would have cared to inform me first - they never tried to contact me on my new address, they did not even try to contact me on the address that was there on my savings account. They were more than eager to charge their customer hefty charges and steal that money from the account. This shows bad intent on the bank's part. Their intent was reflected again when I contacted the credit card department, the banking department and the collections department. I am willing to pay all the genuine expenses I have made through the card however the bank should refund the unreasonable charges.

      ICICI Credit Card — Deducted from SB A/C without consent

      In Dec 2005 I used ICICI Credit Card for purchase of a Mobile handset worth approxRs10000. The merchant converted the purchase to EMI for his advantage without my consent.After 3 months follow up with merchant and Bank the mode was changed to one time payment. But bank started charging delay on EMI charges and service charges and what not...
      After many many follow up once a lady called up and said you pay Rs.750/- matter will be closed, however next month onwards again getting statements.Personally visited their office and spent half day without anybody really attending, to settle the issue.I had send complete detail of purchases and payment since the card was taken.All payments for the purchase was made without delay.All efforts from my side was wasted, the bank used their might to debit Rs.13000/- from my salary Account without giving a chance to defend my side.
      Rs 13, 000 was "stolen" from my account as I was a helpless customer.This is a lesson for all the people taking ICICI credit card."Beware they are having muscle power " only mantra they follow is make money at any cost.

      ICICI Credit Card — Amount deducted from my salary saving account without my permission

      Hi,

      I m holding a card for few yrs now . In oct i purchased a laptop and paid Rs 45000/- through this card . Every month i was charged almost 3000/- extra, so i requested to settle this card and i was ready to pay in emi. Several times collection dept people came and collected minimum due amount and promised to settle the account but nothing was done and agian next month Rs 3000/- was added and statement was sent . I wrote emails to icici customer care on 9th august and on 14th august Rs 57, 712 /- was taken from my SALARY SAVING ACCOUNT without my permission . After several reminders also i m still getting credit card statement with additional charges . i get 10-15 calls everyday for reminder of payment and they are too rude also.
      When i m in office or driving they call and use harsh language. i m scared that agin they will take these amount from my account. i have gone through enough harrasment and lost lots of money because of it .

      Pls. advise .

      ICICI Saving A/c — Over charging the customer without explaination

      Hi,

      I am really fed up with ICICI bank they are always deduction amount from the account without explaination. The authority should check and fine them or even close them. The bank should be sued for eating customers hard earned money.

      ICICI Bank are playing this with lot of customers. I have closed an ICICI credit card almost 20 months ago..And I am living abroad..I updated all the contact details with the bank. But one fine morning I found that an amount of 80, 000 has been debited from my icici savings account towards the credit card which was not in use for 20 months(My actual credit limit was 37000). I called ICICI cutomer care and it took me one and a half hours to get somebody...I made this call from USA to chennai...They told me they will send me statements by email..But Why didnt they do it for past 20 months...And nobody from the bank has contacted me regarding this payment..and they debited the amt +interests+charges+some blah blah..(The final amt was closer to 2.5 times my actual credit limit)..They said that there's a sentence in the credit card agreement which allows them to do this...So better not apply for ICICI credit card...NEVER...EVER...They're blood suckers...

      WIPRO — saving account

      i have deposited payorder from karur vaisya bank on 31 st mar in valasaravakkam branch.till the amount not been credited in my acconut
      ICICI is a thug and please do not associate with it. they will steal your money. they have fools for customer care. they same happened to me.
      Luckily, there was very less money in my account. so lost only 4K. they had tried to debit 51K. I will never ever do banking with them.
      I also have similar experience with the Bank and Bank, who is spending so much of money to advertise about so called "Trusted Bank" is no more visible in their actions.

      I had sdaving Bank account for more than 5 years with Bank, all loans that I ahve taken (Car loan) has been paiud on time, every time by me. One day suddenly, without any intimation or consent from or to me, they deducted money from my account for 3 year old CC which is not linked with this a/c by me.

      From this incedent, I do not trust this Bank any more as my money is not safe with Bank. I already am closing my a/c in this bank as well as closing any other relationship that I have with this Bank.
      This w.r.to the statement recevd by me in the month of April, there were so many service tax and late payment fees amounting to 3000/- has been debited on one day.

      How is that possible, and in the past wherever thier executive called up I have asked them to come with a settlement form and give no dues certificate on the last payment( which was the late paymenet cahrges left unpaid by me after paying all my principal amount) i.e 1490/- due.

      But nobody, turned up and today suddenly I come to know by chance that my account has been blocked for 5200/-Rs and which has made my EMi bounced, which was due today, that too without informing me or taking any consent from me.

      How can you debit my saving account account?

      And the bank behaved in a haste manner in which they have even not seen that there were no money used by me due in the card it was late payment charges levid many months ago and for which I have been told by customer care that will be reversed but that amount has not been reveresed and they have aharges late payment cahrges on late payment charges and subsequently they blocked my money which resulted in this day,

      I do not understand are we customer too helpless in placing our genuine facts and get justice form such service provider who claims to be atrustworthy name among customers???

      If I would have to react in the same way as they have reacted then I would withdraw same amount from my another credit card of same bank and also close all my saving accounts witbh ICICI, is this the solution??

      Fight for it, Drag them to consumer court and take all dues from them as compensation .

      ICICI Bank — Money debited from my saving account

      Hi,

      My ICICI Bank Account is debited with Rs.55 with description as Charges for sign verification.
      when contacted with Customer Care, ICICI Bank officer said that these charges were charged for check issused, i have not given any check to anybody else.
      ICICI is doing this kind of Business with large number of Customer i think also.
      This is my compliant against ICICI Bank Saving Account Department.
      This bank should be penalised for this.

      ICICI Credit Card — Debiting of the salary account without the consent of the account holder towards credit card payment

      We have received an SMS from ICICI Bank on January 16th 2010 stating that the minimum amount of Rs. 8120 should be paid on or before February 3rd 2010.
      But I found out that the salary account was debited to a zero balance and a total of Rs.34500 approx. was debited from the account without any intimation or consent on 29th January 2010.
      I spoke to the concerned authority, but there is no positive progress as such.They have been advancing things and meanwhile i receive calls from the credit card section making false allegations that we have not paid the money.
      I would like the transaction to be reversed at the earliest.
      The payment history shows that we have paid decent amounts and we never have an idea of turning into a defaulter.
      I would like to know whether we can approach legally.

      ICICI Bank is habitual in harrasing customers. I sent a complaint to them regarding the same matter. Mail is attached below. but they hav not resolved the matter. I dont know what to do?

      I am suffering too much due to confusion over some credit card that you claim i have received and i have reiterated so many times that i never received any such card. For last two weeks you, your call centre, your chennai credit card department and everybody else whom i am interacting with, are assuring me that this case has been taken for investigation and will be resolved shortly.
      But, today, I have experienced the most disgusting thing any bank can do to its customer. All the money that was lying in my acount has been debited without my consent and my account balance today is zero.
      You didn’t inform me before leining my account, because of which checked issued be me got bounced and damaged my reputation. Informing me about such outstanding and account leining was the least thing you should have done before leining my account.
      After this, you guys are just not able to resolve the case after more than two weeks.
      In addition to this, you have stopped responding at all.
      And, now to set an unique example of customer service, you have debited Rs. 11050 from my account without my consent. Forget about consent, you have not even informed me that you guys are going to debit my account.

      You should at least share the result of your investigation with me. I don’t know why have you guys stopped responding. I just cant figure out why have you taken this disgusting step of debiting my account silently without my consent.
      I don’t know what to do? Is there anybody in this organisation, where i can sent my complaint?

      icici bank/saving account — Debited money without my approval

      Respected Sir,

      I am John Jayaraj, Working in Wipro.
      Yesterday, ICICI bank (saving account) debited Rs 7,706 for credit card payment from my saving account without my approval.
      I am not paying credit card money since they are giving proper response for interest.
      Background information:
      I have saving account and credit card and Lombard insurance in ICICI bank. ICICI Lombard is giving group insurance for Wipro employee. So that I decided to cancel my insurance in ICICI. But they told you can’t cancel now and you have to pay for one year. I told i can’t pay for that amount.
      But they continuously added insurance fees 350 in my credit card bills and also they added interest for it. So they stopped when is reached Rs.7, 706. (Total interest is 3500)

      I told to credit card department saying that I can pay this money if you remove insurance fees from the bill. (This issue not closing...still now)
      They debited 7,706 Rs from my saving account without my approval.
      There is no security in this bank..
      Kindly do the needful for this issue.
      Is your credit card also issued by ICICI? If yes then they have a right to deduct the amount from your Credit Card account as it is mentioned in their terms and conditions section of the application form, both for Bank account and CC account.

      Now, you can file a complaint regarding your interest charged for the CC usage and immediately visit any nearby ICICI bank and get these standing instructions disabled in front of you and also apply for the cancellation of the Insurance policy which you do not want and ask for the refund of the amount the Insurance company has taken till date with interest. They will deduct some closure charges which you will have to pay ( or will be deducted from the refund )

      Don't stop paying for your CC account as after some time they will put your name in the defaulters list ( CBIL database ) and you will not get any kind of loan from any bank in India.

      I have a savings salary account with ICICI Bank.

      Last weekend ICICI bank has deducted about Rs 14, 000 from my salary account. I called ICICI customer care and they told it has been linked with the credit card I used to have around 3 years ago. There was a disputed amount of around 3-4 thousand which after my repeated complaints, was never taken care of and it seems they kept charging interest and other fees. I had always been willing to pay all the genuine expenses I have made through the card however the bank should refund the unreasonable charges.

      I had asked for settlement but never got any letter for settlement and now suddenly they have deducted this amount from my salary account last monday.

      As far as I know the savings account and credit card both are separate entities in a Bank. Bank cannot make any transaction without my consent. This is totally unacceptable and frustrating. I even called up customer care but in vain.


      Kindly suggest how can I recover.
      Any help would be highly appreciated.

        Dear Sirs,

        I have applied online for ICICI Bank EMI Card on 8th November 2008. Subsequently I was contacted by the bank staff for verification and confirmation etc. They even sent their executive for this purpose. But since then I have not heard anything from them as to whether my applicaiton was accepted or rejected. I tried to equire about this from their customer service number [protected] but was unsuccessful to get through to them every time I dialed this number. I want to know the status of my application but I don't know how to get through to them.

          I needed to withdraw Rs. 1000/- and tried to do so from an ICICI Bank ATM with my HDFC Bank ATM card. No money in first attempt. Tried again. No Money again. Tried Again. No money again.

          Next day, I opened the net banking and saw Rs. 3000/- deducted from my account.

          Several phone calls to the phone banking service of HDFC Bank

          I lodged a complaint with HDFC Bank. ICICI Bank refused to pay back (as per HDFC Bank) and said that cash was dispensed.

          I then went to a branch and filled a charge-back form for further investigation

          Almost 2 months have passed and I am surprised by the unconcerned behavior of the bank.
          Also, machines like ATM are meant to be totally fool-proof. Guess here too corruption leads to inferior quality.

          Even I hv faced the same issue with ICICI bank when I tried to withdraw money with my HDFC bank card. This was on 3rd Dec, apparently the HDFC phone banker asked me to give in writing / fill up charge back form & they will take legal action against ICICI.
          I will do that but dont hv much hope...
          This is to inform to all ICICI BANK authorities that the ATM at Thermax Chowk, Chikhli Road, Chinchwad, Pune, is not functioning since 09/06/2009, This is not a first time that this ATM is out of order, last month also it was shut down for nearly 4 to 5 days.
          There are 2 slower cash dispensing machines one of which is always break downs, especially from 6th to 15th of every month.
          The ICICI BANK's a/c holders of Chikhli, More Vasti, Sambhaji Nagar, HDFC Colony, Triveni Nagar, All employees of FORCE MOTORS, THERMAX, & a lot of small scale industry workers are depending on this ATM,
          Can the high paid authorities of this Bank wake up & replace this toys into Express Type Cash dispensing Machine, Can they provide at least some Lower grade service to its customers,
          May god give them more strength to over come with this problem.

          icici ATM — ATM malfunction

          Hello Sir,

          Yesterday (19.07.09) I went to take some cash at ICICI ATM, located inside the Guindy race club, chennai. My citibank debit card got struck as the power went off suddenly. Even after the machine restarted, i couldnt get my card back, after trying for more than 30 minutes. There was neither a helpline number nor a security personal. I finally had to call up the Citibank customer care to block my card, for which I am being charged Rs.275. This is no fault of mine! Kindly do the needful.

          This has reference to failed ATM transactionof Rs.4000 on 24/12/2009 vide ATM card issued by ICICI Bank. The transaction was totally paid however my account No,[protected] was twice debited. Based on my immediate complaint only one enrty was reversed on 29/12/2009 and the ICICI BTM layout Br. Bangalore 560 076 maintains that one transaction was successful and was paid. The entry is not reversed till today inspite of several complaints.Unlike other ATMs ICICI Bank ATMS are fitted with CCTV 24X7 coverage and my request to produce video clipping to substantiate cash being paid out is not complied with. I realised now that RBI Banking ombudsman is just an eye wash.

            Dear all

            This is with regards to the loan given on my my wife's credit card without any repayment instructions and options. On February 14th I gave Rs. 80000.00 to a collection agency appointed by ICICI to regularise the loan account.

            Till date this money is not trace able and I have recieved unlimited harrassment and threatening calls from all corners and collection agents of all sorts.

            Since the time the money has gone mising I have stopped paying up the EMI's

            Would like to know what can I do, what legal action can I take against ICICI to recover my lost money and how far is ICICI liable as I desperately wish to settle this account and not deal with these collection agents anymore.

            Your valuable advise will be much appreciated

              Hi,
              I have filed my complaint to Mr. Kamani, Mr. Mehta & Mr. B. Madhivanan but did not get any response from them. Hoping that you can solve my problem with the ICICI credit card.
              I had tried to make PVR cinema transaction of 300 Rs. which was not completed but still i was charged money by ICICI. And for that i was asked to send FAX to ICICI. I sent it 3 times & finally i got confirmation in 1st week of sept that it has been received & under process. Now when in november i went to branch to check the status of my request, i came to know that ICICI executive had closed the request with the STATUS showing the "FAX TO BE RECEIVED FROM CUSTOMER".
              Now you tell me what should i do. Bank branch do not accept the written application for Creditcard. & i am charged so many times for servicetax & late payment fees.
              requesting you to solve the issue AsAP.

                CRIMINILISATION OF BANKING.

                With reference to the above, I wish to bring the following information to your kind attention and solicit your immediate action.

                I have the above a/c with your Dadar Branch and the said a/c which I have not operated for a period of Feb & Mar somewhere around 40 days. In February 2008.

                As usual along with my credit card statement I have received an enquiry for availing personal loan & on receipt of it I have made some enquiries with the bank and told them I will come back if I need and as I never required I didn’t ask for any loan to my surprise I’ve checked my ICICI bank a/c statement/ balance in first week of March I have noticed Rs.50000/- has been credited in my a/c. since I have not deposited any amount in my a/c I have immediately brought the issue to the notice of Dadar Branch.

                Then I was given to understand that the money has been transferred from ICICI Bank’s Personal Loan Division which I have never asked. As customer of the bank I have immediately informed the bank and asked S.R.58527453, dated 7th March, 2008 and in spite of repeated following with your officers as usual there was no reply from your end. All the commitments by your officers to solve the issue within 24 hours with no effect and whenever I call them for senior persons I got a constant reply that they are not authorized to reveal any senior’s name & their contact numbers.

                But adding to my surprise all of a sudden a collection agent has come to my home for asking EMI of the loan which I have never asked for. The collection agent has taken the S.R. no and promised to take prompt action with authorities and close the issue.

                Again the same episode repeated with no replies from bank, when I checked with the back officers about the status of the S.R.s they asked me to raise one more S.R. bearing the nos. 62613813, dated 11.04.08 and again the back officer has promised to come back within 24 hours and resolve but nothing has happened till now.

                I am a professional and getting paid only for doing my assignment I had no time to follow up the case but your bank personnel even they are paid for it never bothered to give a prompt response. This utter negligence in the part of your bank is very very irresponsible and resulting me lot of inconveniences. Now I got a notice from your bank’s legal department to pay the loan or to face legal action. Immediately I have contacted the person responsible and he has promised me to reinvestigate (I fail to understand the meaning of re-investigation) the case and come back to me within 5 days but he never replied.

                Again, today i.e. 3rd August, 2008 I have called back your back office people regarding the issue and according to them, I have given verbal consent for loan on 25th of April 2008 against which they have credited amount well before on 7th February, 2008. THIS IS STRONG PROOF OF NEGLIGENCE OF YOUR STAFF AND HARASSING THE CUSTOMERS.

                It is too much and I have no time to waste with you AND finally advise you to take prompt action and to solve the issue once and for all failing which I will be left with no option but to initiate legal action against the negligence on the part of your useless, irresponsible staff.

                A line of compliance from your end will be highly appreciated.

                now the curent scenerio is they have taken this Rs 50000/- from my ICICI account on 18th Aug, 2008 with out my consent. I thought the problem is over but now also i am getting the loan bill with the intersest.
                when i am asking back office they say talk to their recover agent, ahen i spoke to their agents they say talk to the bank officer.

                i would appreciate if you could extend your help to resolve this case.

                  Dear Sir

                  ICICI Bank Credit Card despatched by the bank on 24 November 2008 via AW Number [protected] through ExpressIT Courier did not reach me so far.

                  The courier service called me on Monday (Dec1, 2008) from nos[protected]/32027013 and asked about me my address and availablity. They told me that this courier will be delievered by the evening (6PM). I was in office till 8 pm but noday came to deliever the courier.

                  On enquiry today from website, the courier service verified the status and informed that the card was not delivered as I was not available at my address, whereas being an engineer, I am available in the office everyday excluding sunday as it is my office address. Also, nobody came to me.

                  Today I tried to call courier office at New Delhi on the telephone number[protected]/ 32037013 and nos[protected]/12 provided to me by the bank but there was no answer.

                    Dear Customer Care Officer,
                    ICICI Bank, Credit Card Section,

                    I hold an ICICI credit Card bearing No.[protected] w.e.f. 04.2007.During the last one and half an year I always paid my credit card dues timely.But on 22nd Nov'08 I received a telephonic call from your office to pay an amount of Rs. 6, 403.00 immediately which was said to be the last month's due which was not paid in time before 4th Nov'08.But for your kind information I would like to state that I did not get such statement before 4th Nov'08. However, as soon as I got the information about my dues I paid the same amount immediately on the same day i.e. on 22nd Nov'08. Unfortunately I got the Credit Card Statement dated 18th Nov'08 only on 29th Nov'08 where I found that late payment fee, interest, service tax etc amounting to Rs. 538.67 has been levied along with my actual transaction and the total amount due was shown as Rs. 6, 403.00 during the period from 17 th Oct'08 to 17 th Nov'08.
                    Under the circumstances stated above may I request you to reverse the additional amount of Rs. 538.67 which has been charged as late payment fee, interest, service tax etc. to my account.

                      Actually i am having ICICI Credit card, Without using the card they are making charges.Before 6 months, I had paid the outstanding amount (without using the card more than a year).After that i formally sent an mail regarding closing my credit card(I enquired about closing procedure in branch).Still now i am getting call & Statement to pay amount.

                        I have saving a/c (No.[protected] at ICICI Bank at South Extn. Branch, Delhi. Bank applied freeze to my a/c without any information and did not remove freeze to my a/c two weeks after complaint.

                        After visiting at my base branch South Extention II, New Delhi there are unsatisfactory answer by staff present ober there.

                        ICICI Bank — illegally account freezed

                        hello , i am arun sharma having saving account in icici bank from last seven year,but from last one month bank has freezed my account without any prior information reason for which is being given that i have salary account in the bank but i am not getting my salary from the same employer through which my account was opened which is realy ridiculous because i left that company in year 2003 & my account was updated as normal saving account by bank itself.but now they are harassing me by saying that it is as per rbi guidelines,i would like to ask bank as well as Rbi that whether they were sleeping from last six years.even as they awaked now still they didn,t bother to inform me before freezing my account.can you tell me who's responsible for such harrassment ?

                          I never receive my credit card statement on my e-mail id although email id had been given long back and many times requested for the same also but nobody is paying attention also.

                          On every credit card statement (which ever hard copy ) i received it is mentioned that a copy of the same has been sent to you on your email id but none of them have ever reached to me and because of this reason many times i got to pay the late fine. The same situation is this time also. I have not yet received the card statement for the last month.

                            I took a home loan from ICICI bank in 2006 and regurlarly paying the EMI. I have taken a floating rate for my home loan. ICICI bank has incresed the interest rate from 8.7 % to 13.5% in last too year. They are sucking the blood of customer. We are not in satuation to pay that much higher interest. Also they are deducting only RS 99 as priniciple amount out of Rs 18626 (EMI). Rest of banks are giving the loan in lower interest.


                            RBI should strictly look into this matter and save customers of ICICI bank.

                            The ICICI is never going to reduce the loan rates for existing customers. They are the biggest cheat in the country. KV Kamath, the ICICI head and CII president is the number one crook...he speaks in the public that banker should reduce the interest rates, but his bank never reduce rates. There cheap strategy is to give loan at low rates to new cutomers and increase thereafter immediately after some months. They are openly cheating the customers of India. This is really pathetic that both RBI and Govt does not take action against there crook activities. The best think is all the customer of ICICI should protest aginst the bank in the front of RBI building, this will force the RBI to hear the ICICI customer problem and media will also get active. All the ICICI Home Loan Customers should transfer there loans to public sector banks. I know the ICICI create problems if someone tries to transfer there loans to other banks.

                            Everytime ICICI management says, we are watching the liquidity situation and will review the rates later on and then they never reduce the rates. This is just to divert the attention of the customers and the media. Irony, is that the KV Kamath says different thing and Chanda Kochar says opposite of that. This is because KV Kamath is the head of CII, he always says good thing but never delivers that. Funny part is he is saying banks should reduce rates, but his ICICI is not reducing the rates. I dont understand, why the cost of funds are not coming down for these private banks despite huge Repo Rate and CRR cuts by the RBI. They are just fooling everyone and earning huge interest income by not reducing the interest rates.
                            ICICI Bank has a track record of attracting customers by all dubious means. Once a Customer is trapped he is trapped for ever. There is nothing Like Customer Service in ICICI bank .

                            No matter what how many Basis Points the RBI reduces, for ICICI Bank it is always one way the way Upwards - after all they know that a customer trapped once is a customer trapped forever .

                            Many customer have got trapped and the Management is least bothered to look into the grievances of the customer.
                            ICICI is the biggest cheater no doubt on it.I took a loan in the year 2007 for my House in Hyderabad Kukatapally area .I approached IDBI they said they wont give loan as it comes under village /the apartment is in 3rd floor the only bank which would give readily is ICICI.I am right now paying 13 percent interest rate .I went to the bank today to reduce the interest rate to 10 percent they are saying to pay Rs 45000.I lost my 3 months back till now not got any success getting one.RBI should stringely monitor the rates what ICICI follows.

                              I am using my ICICI credit card for the last 5 years. I was promptly paying the payment ontime. Afterwards due to financial crisis, I could not pay the amount and hence they started imposing interest and penalty. I followed with them to reverse the interest. After six months they got convinced and said I need to pay the outstandnig and afterwards they will reverse the amount.

                              When i asked them to confirm the outstanding. they said they will not reverse the penalty and i have to pay full amount.

                              Please help what i can do in this case.I also wrote to bankng ombudsmon hyd. BUt no resolutoin.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I have an ICICI Bank Salary Account. Today after my salary got credited and as usual I received SMS from ICICI Bank. In the SMS it was stated that my Total Available Balance is Rs. -5, 655.86/-.

                                I called up the customer care number to inquire the reason behind the negative balance. To my greatest surprise, I came to know that an amount of Rs. 35, 286 /- has been blocked due to non-payment of Credit Card bill.

                                I have neither applied for this Card nor have I received this card. I am residing in Hyderabad since May 2006. The Customer Care officer told me that the Primary card and an Add-On Card No., has been received by my brother residing in Chandannagar (Hoogly - 712136, WB).

                                What came to me as a shock is how I can become the primary card holder even when I have not applied for the card? I have not even put my signature on any application form. I did not receive any verification calls at my office or residence address, both in Hyderabad.

                                My father and brother have applied for this card and had been using this card, without even informing me. How can I be the Primary card holder and why do I need to pay the outstanding amount. And why is my salaried account been blocked.

                                There seems to be some fraud either from them or from the ICICI bank credit card representative for making me the primary card holder. I guess that they have put my signatures to make me the primary card holder.

                                My question is how can ICICI bank issue a credit card on my name without my approval.

                                What step can I take against ICICI bank for doing this fraud.

                                I am eagerly waiting for your response.

                                ICICI Bank — BLOCKING THE AMOUNT IN SAVINGS ACCOUNT

                                This is K Ramana Having Saving accounts with icici Bank Banjara hills branch and taken personal loan from icici bank. I failed to pay my emi(5th of every month) for the month of AUG 2009 and which bank has Blocked an a Amount of 6830+221(bounce charges). i have deposited an amount of rs 30000 on 1st of sep in which bank has deducted RS 6830 as the aug EMI on 3/09/09 and RS 6830 for the month of sept on 05/09/09. and they have also blocked an amount of RS 7050. saying aug month installment.

                                I have called customre care twice asking that amoun has allready been deducted from my account and why they have blocked the amount. ther eis no proper answer form. them.

                                i have issued some other cheque to other bank.. which may bounce if they woont release my amount.

                                  I Dushyant Pathak, having Salary Account at Rajkot Main Branch (Gujarat). I am doing all my transactions through Internet and same way I tried to transfer sum of Rs. 10, 000 on 31st October 2008 from my A/c[protected] to A/c no[protected].

                                  But due to typing error it was transferred to A/c no[protected]Typing mistake of only one digit in A/c no). Sir, immediately I came to know about the mistake and instantly I met personally to
                                  MR. MITUL SHAH (Asst. Manager – Rajkot Main Branch) and narrate the whole issue to him.

                                  Mr.Mitul has transfer this issue to Nagpur branch as the A/c in which the fund transferred is opened at Nagpur. So, I contacted SUWARNA MADAM at Nagpur and told her the whole issue through telephone and she assured me for the required steps needs to be taken by her end.

                                  Sir, unfortunately after almost one month SUWRNA MADAM is telling me that the A/c holder in who’s A/c the fund was transferred is not in touch and not responding to the bank regarding this issue.

                                  Sir, my humble request to you is please look in to the issue and help me in getting back my money safely. Sir, I am helping the bank in all aspect and let me assure you for the same in future also.

                                    Sir,
                                    I am an ICICI Bank account holder. My account number is[protected]. When I opened the account I was told that I can use any bank`s ATM without paying any ATM charges. So whenever I used any other banks ATM, ICICI Bank charged some ATM charge but at the end of each quarter they reversed the ATM charges subject to maintenance of a minimum balance of Rs. 10000.
                                    Now every quarter I got back all my ATM charges back until the quarter of September-December 2007. During this quarter ICICI bank did not reverse my ATM charges and this continued till the month of August 2008. Before this on all previous occasions my ATM charges were reversed.
                                    When I met the bank manager in Gandhinagar branch he asked me to file a written complaint. So on 13th August 2008 I wrote a written complaint about the non-reversal of my ATM charges. The bank authorities of the bank mentioned that one needs to convert to a freedom account for availing the ATM charges reversals and that my account was not a FREEDOM ACCOUNT. I applied for making my account freedom account on 13th August 2008 but despite of applying on 13th August 2008, I was again charged ATM charges on the following dates:
                                    Rs. 20 on 16/07/2008
                                    Rs. 20 on 21/07/2008
                                    Rs. 20 on 26/07/2008
                                    Many weeks passed by and no action was being taken. I visited bank branch at Gandhinagar and took my complaint number which was 77632718.
                                    After this I sent several messages to ICICI bank quoting my complaint number and finally on 15/11/2008 some ATM charges were reversed. But when I checked with my bank statement there were a large number of ATM transactions for which the amount was still not reversed. So I wrote another mail (complaint number SR[protected] stating that still many ATM charges were not reversed. I also stated the range of dates where ATM charges were not reversed.
                                    ICICI bank again reversed some of the ATM charges on 18/11/2008 but after checking my bank statement still many ATM charges not reversed.
                                    After that I have again sent several mails (3 in total) stating the precise dates on which the charges have not yet been paid up but ICICI Bank is not responding to mails.
                                    ICICI still has not reversed the ATM charges on the following dates:
                                    28/01/2008 Rs.22
                                    23/01/2008 Rs.67
                                    01/03/2008 Rs.67
                                    29/04/2008 Rs.20
                                    03/05/2008 Rs.20
                                    10/05/2008 Rs.20
                                    31/05/2008 Rs.20

                                    On many of these I have carried out 2 or 3 atm withdrawals in the same date ICICI has reversed 1 out of 2 or 2 out of 3 but left out one transaction for reversal.

                                    It is a matter of great negligence and carelessness on the part of ICICI bank. To get a sum of money that belongs to me I have to write so much, complaint so many times, cross check and find that still some amount is pending. Also so much time is wasted in doing so, ICICI bank should ideally return my money with interest associated with the money along with my expenses on complaining again and again about their negligence.
                                    A fine should be levied on ICICI bank and a thorough check should be done by other ICICI Bank Account holders to see if ICICI bank is not defaulting with them also.
                                    All of this prompts me to take a legal action against ICICI bank along with closure of my bank account. I have lost faith in the bank.
                                    I would be very grateful to you if you can help me to get back my money from ICICI bank. I also appeal to you to talk strict action against the bank authorities responsible for these faults.

                                    ICICI Bank — Fined for Drawing the money from other ATMs

                                    My account is also been deducted thrice (84 rs)with the comment "POS DECLINE CHG". If other ATM dont have the money, then its bank problem but not the Cusomers. We are using that facility becoz banks providing that. If other banks wants to charge for this, the Bank in which we have the account should pay them. Why should we fined for the this???.
                                    Complaint against ICICI Bank ATM and the security guard on duty.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I am an HDFC account holder. On 7th May 2009 I had visited the ICICI Bank ATM Near Ashish Theatre, chembur as its located close to my residence for withdrawing cash of Rs 3000/- from my HDFC account. There was some problem with the ICICI ATM machine due to which I was able to pull out only Rs 600/- and the balance Rs 2400/- was pulled in by the machine. Pls note my account balance was Rs 3500/- as on 7th May 2009. After the above trasaction, my account shows zero balance.

                                    On speaking with the security he said that you'll should have removed only Rs 2000/- as there was some problem with the machine. In that case he should have made us alert before such a blunder took place.

                                    Further, the security guard was rude and loud. He was acting smart. When I asked him for his name he got scared and was not willing to disclose his identity. I exclaimed to him that I need his name only for the purpose of filling the customer dispute form but he was very stern. I want to lodge a complaint against him. He was an ICICI Bank security guard at Ashish Theatre Bldg ATM on 7th May 09 between 7.45pm - 8.15pm on duty.

                                    i have visa card of icici bank. on 22nd of march i withdraw Rs. 4000 from sbi atm. but i just not get rupees and money is debited from my account. i have complained but i have no reply from them.so what should i have to do? plz rpl me.

                                      I received a call from ICICI first saying that i have been sanctioned a sum of 25 Lakhs without the need to produce any document and i can avail them in the next 6 months. Then i had some clarifications where a lady from number[protected] called up and explained me about the laon and the EMI process. When I asked her document that can say that I have been sanctioned fo a loan without document that she claied earlier, started saying that it was just only through word of mouth. Mean while i asked her to give me some co ordinates of ICICI here in Banglore which she refused and explained saying that she will call me when ever i give her a time.Finally I came to know that it was from some call center and not from ICICI. "Beware of behalf of ICICI ". If this type of call goes on then many will be in the trap.

                                      The call seems to be fictious.IF any ICICI official happens to read this you can reach me at [protected].

                                        LETTER TO ALL @ ICICI:

                                        I am completely APALLED at the pathetic customer service by your call centre. I am the CEO of Helios Outsourcing and am fully aware of the service levels that is expected in a call centre of your nature and the service I receive is simply no where in comparison. Your staff are rude, impolite and downright unprofessional. More than banking, they need to be taught basic professional etiquette and politeness.

                                        I called your customer service number at exactly 1908hrs today and after entering my credit card number I was directed to a young man who is a typical example of the poor service your call centre exhibits. He couldn't communicate clearly in English and kept passing rude and offhand remarks that bore no relevance to my issue. After changing my card's address two and a half years ago, I was surprised to find a credit card delivered to my previous address which could have been misused or stolen. All I wanted to know is how and why was the previous address used to which the guy I spoke to was not interested in answering. And to top it off, when I asked him for his name, he transfers me back to the main menu!!! You can imagine my frustration.

                                        I am sure you can easily identify who answered my call by checking your system and you can even listen to the voice recording from your dialer. Please do and please ensure the agent is immediately terminated because if I wasnt in the call centre business, I would have stopped banking with ICICI immediately. Some ACTION PLEASE!

                                        And hey - my turnover with ICICI's credit card is over Rs. 10, 00, 000 in the last few years.

                                        There is a ECS system in my a/c for the Bill payment of Vodafone Essar Ltd. & I want to deactive this system. For this I already visit to your branch which is situated in Salt Lake, Karunamoyee, Sec-04, Kolkata.
                                        They assured my from last one month that they will stop this system, but till now this sysem is active,
                                        I alrady sumitted all the documents regarding this issue to Salt lake Branch, but your branch didn't take any step regarding this issue. Their behaviour is very rude & also they provide wrong commitment to customer.
                                        So, I request you to Please look in this matter as soon as possible..

                                        I own a credit card No. [protected] from ICICI Bank, I made some purchase and deposited the amount within the allowed time, and after one week I received a message on Mobile that the amount of 100/- is pending against your credit card.
                                        It is further told that I received another call from your Bombay call center or your Bank asking for loan of Rs. 2 Lakh and I refused, I told that I can get the loan amount from other banks at the less % of interest and hence the end of talk. I requested that an amount of Rs. 100/- is being sent inspite of making timely payment. He told that the payment is made after the statement date Where as your representative at the time of making credit card told that you can make the payment within 40 days of purchase, the amount now is cleared and in future payment should be made within 40 days of statement dated i.e 22nd of each month, which was never told before.
                                        Again on dated 26th April, 2009 I got a message that you will get a call from ICICI bank, I got a call and I was told that an amount of Rs. 583/- is pending against my credit card, which is again an amount which I have never spent and astonishing for me.
                                        So, it is requested that the excessive amount may please be cleared against my credit card immediately. I am an employee, you have put me in to unnecessary tension on this Sunday. Otherwise please block my credit card immediately as I am not going to make any unnecessary payment on this account. This mail may be traeted as a notice from my side. If it is not cleared I will have to complaint further higher officers.
                                        Please reply immediately as I am worried about this paymest.

                                        I visited ICICI branch Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad on 05/05/09 to take 3 DDs from my A/c. While I was filling the forms my token number came and I could not see the counter number.

                                        1) I rushed to counter 3 where a woman sat freely. I showed my token number and requested her to take the DD forms. she rejected and replied that token was not from her counter. In addition, asked me to go to next counter (4). She was free for 5 minutes as there were no other customers but she did not ready to accept my DD forms.

                                        2) I stand in queue at other counter until my turn. Another woman was there. She told that though I was customer to ICICI bank I have to pay transaction charges Rs. 84/- for the DDs. I wrote the amount on the DDs and asked her to take my DD forms. She replied very quietly that my token number was already called and now she was looking another token so she could not accept the DD forms. She asked me to go to another counter (9).

                                        3) I was already late to my office. So went in hurry to the counter 9. Another gentle man sat in that counter and he was talking with his colleague. He told me to go to counter 4. I said that she herself sent me here. He looked at my face and looked at forms and asked me why I wrote Rs. 84/- as transaction charges it should be Rs.83/-. I told that the woman in the counter-4 told me 84/-. He asked from his counter her and she confirmed that she told me Rs. 84/-. I requested him that I was already late and accept it. He replied that it was not possible. He asked me to wait and went to counter- 4 talked with her. Then some other person met him there and he talked with him too for some time.

                                        I was annoyed too much and stand to leave the bank. He shook his hand signaling for wait. I replied him “I already wasted 30 minutes in this bank neither I have the time nor the patience to waste my time”.



                                        I went to Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad branch. There I got the DDs in 10-15 minutes. They told that I need to pay transaction charges for two DDs and one DD is free.

                                        I experienced the worst service at ICICI branch Srinagar Colony.

                                        I just want to ask ICICI bank,

                                        What does the ICICI bank staff think whether customers are part of their work or interruption to their work?

                                        To whom would they like to give priority whether to customers or friends in working hours?

                                        Does not the staff know the transaction charges?

                                        Then who will know?

                                        Im account holder in your icici bank branch Pehowa(kurukshetra) here im facing problam with the ATM service. your bank's ATM is not working it is out of service from 10-12 days. even im not able to make transections from other banker's atam machine too with your banks ATM card.

                                        today ie 10/08/09 time 10 30am recieved a telephonic call on my phone no [protected] of shri balbir singh who introduced himself as senior officer of icici bank posted at delhi but his behaviour was worst than a class 4 employee.he asked me to invest money so as to earn 16% interst in the bank scheme which i thought was not a realistic deal so i refused to invest, on refusal he acted as degraded official of bank.i dont know why bank has engaged /employed such persons who doesnot know how to talk with a person, i am retired supertending engineer from a punjab irrigation deppt not a oridinary man so you are request to initiate action against him so that he doesnot dare to behave in a irresponsible manner with anyone in future. such persons should be shown door of the bank.kindly give me his details so that i may initiate legal proceedings against him.
                                        It is really very bad experience with the ICICI bank call center, Even I canceled my ICICI bank credit which I am having for last 5 years. I suggest every one should close their connection with this bank which have no respect to the customers.

                                        I am completely harassed and amazed at the pathetic customer service by your Bangalore -Jainagar 7th phase branch. I am an account holder of your Bank and I feel that has turned out to be a sin for me. I am also working for a customer service industry and am fully aware of the service levels that are expected from the customer service executives and centre but the services and response I have received is simply nowhere in comparison. Your staff is rude, impolite and extremely unprofessional. More than banking, they need to be taught basic professional etiquette and politeness.

                                        I had applied for DMAT Account and along with the same, I had handed over my Internet banking request to the executive who came to collect the papers. My DMAT a/c has got opened without any hassles but net banking request which was handed over to Ms Pallavi – Customer Service dept has not got processed even after 20 days. No communication on any rejection or reason for not having the request processed was sent to me. When I enquired about the status I got to know that the same is rejected due to signature mismatch but to my surprise how did my DMAT with the same signature got opened which is linked to the my ICICI a/c.

                                        I called up at call centre, spoke to your Service Manager – Mr Mallik, and explained him the entire issue. He promised me to resolve my issue and as a result, Ms Pallavi called me and spoke very rudely. Instead of resolving my complaint, she said, “Your request is rejected due to signature mismatch and this was told to the person who submitted the request. And you can’t complaint about me as I had done my bit and informed to the agent. You should have visited the branch to know the status.”

                                        I am surprised that your executives are still working in Stone Age as they do not know how to use computers or the applications. At least some massage or communication regarding the rejection should have sent to my address. Firstly, they did not process my case properly and top of that Pallavi was using nasty and rude language. HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE.. These kind of execs are spoiling your companies image and I feel you shouls take strict action against such people.

                                        ICICI Credit Card - HYD Call Centre — 55 minutes call wait but service not done

                                        Hello All,

                                        I would like to share my badest experience with ICICI Bank's HYD Call Centre today (23-rd June 2010) between 8.30 -to- 9.30 PM. while i try to change my office address with them. I was called up them initially and a lady executive told me to come on line by entering my ATM pin number so that she can help me out. For this call i have to wait for around 15 minutes to get answered. I did another 2-3 times the same way in next 15 minutes the call was received by an executive from Credit Card Dept but he is just doing call forwarding to another Dept within the same call center. I was trying to explain my problems but he is just forwarding my call everytime. I went wild with him and asked to transfer me to Feedback Dept, but the Feedback dept is very horrible and no one is there to answer my call. I really went wild next time and asked the executive his name, but it is very tough for me to finally get his name. His name is : Antony Reddy and he is from HYD center. I also shouted with him about my bad experience and asked his manager's name and got is after a bit struggle. His immediate manager's name is : Ismail and his manager name is : Pawan Chopad. I tried to talk to Pawan Chopad, bus Ismail is not allowing for that. I asked Ismail about the Service Level Agreement to answer any customer on call. He explained it's 3-4 minutes. But surprisingly i found out that there are No Employee on Duty to Answer my call from this Centralized Call Center. The IVR system is the worst ever system, i ever experienced with, cause it is accepting ATM pin number every time happily and routing my call with the status that I entered my Date of Birth, instead of ATM pin number. The IVR system is completely screwed up one.

                                        Please raise this issue with concerned ICICI officials who is really interested in bringing up their company to frontline and to improve their service level to atleast as per their SLA.

                                        They have to answer about wasting my time of 55 minutes today, so that these kind of experiences will not repeat to others atleast.

                                        I am holding a Demat and also Savings account with your branch in Kolkata, Bhowanipore. Recently I needed a client master list. Your Bhowanipore branch sent a message to the Mumbai office. Later I was advised by your Bhowanipore/ Kolkata branch that the same has been despatched from your Mumbai office to my home address on 16 th of September under courier receipt number B 31507485 through First Flight Courier service. This document has never reached me till date. I have after great struggle managed to get in touch with the customer service of this courier company as their phones always remain unattended. However I came to know that this document has been sent back due to insufficient address. I fail to comprehend this as I am regularly receiving courier packets from different stations without any problems.

                                        My concern now, is how to get this docs. Your Bhownipore branch told me to write to your customer service requesting to send this packet again to your Bhowanipore branch so that I can collect it from there. I am clue less how to solve this riddle of getting a simple document from ICICI ??? I am also not sure whether writing this mail is going to bring any possitive light or not, but I do not have much choice either.
                                        I would be happy even if you are unable to help me at least could show me way how I can get this document. I never anticipated that getting a document from ICICI would be such a difficult job.
