Hi,
This is very sad to say that ICICI bank reputation is going down just because of some irresponsible people. I would like to inform ICICI bank trough this mail that I have open a salary A/C in ICICI bank on 27 Jan 2012. I don't know the reason that why this A/c is not activated. It's 19th of Feb today means almost 22 days . My salary is still panding to company just because of the A/C is still pending. The guy who came to us for A/C opening his name was Amit. I am keep tring his no# but he is not at all responding. just because of him I am facing lots of problems. I am going to put this issue in onlineconsumer court. Before that kindly ask your people to get the issue done with in a day.

i was taken 2 weeler loan from icici bank and i was comleted also without any remarks. i have clear passbook entries. i asked them my NOC. but they are telling me to pay one due with 2 yrs intrest. i was sent legal notice to bank but no reply from them. i went to bank 10 times but no use. i was sent all the documents by email no use. so i request to public. please suggest me. what i have to do for my NOC. i have knee pain and im not able kick my bike. i need NOC very urgently to sell my bike. please suggest me for immediate sollution

Yes Mr. Jayenderaji even I am victim of same regarding my two wheeler loan. I had similar experience. I have taken 2 wheeler loan and gave post dated cheques (PDC). I have completed paid the loan and when I approached for NOC, I was told that I have not paid 2 installments even though my bank passbooks clearly indicates that all the cheques have been paid and none of the cheques have bounced.
I gave the xerox copies of Passbook clearly showing that all the installments have been paid but nothing happened. Then I have scanned the passbook and sent email to ICICI customer care but nothing happened. I have complained in ICICI Phone banking customer care, still nothing happened and i was told to submit the xerox copies passbook again in J. B. Nagar ICICI bank. I have been making rounds of ICICI bank since 2 years.
I will be submitting xerox copies of passbook to J. B. nagar ICICI bank. Lets see what happens. There may be many victims like us. Even if ICICI bank issues me NOC but what about the inconvienience suffered by us? I feel ICICI bank should pay compensation for this.

My loan got cleared on 5 december 2008, I have started to follow up with icici executives to get my NOC from since 2 months,

Several times when i called to custumer care.

1st time--> I was confirmed by the executive that my loan got cleared and I will be getting the NOC with in 8 working days 15 days I waited till 8days to complete . I didnt got NOC Then I agian called.
2nd time--> I came to know that I need to submit my RC copy since my vehicle number didnt updated in the records first time when i called to customer care no one updated me about the same.
3rd time--> Again I travelled to bangalore I have reached to the ICICI bank in MG branch Bangalore . I have met Anthony Kanth raj . I have submitted my RC copy and I have updated my address to my permanent address since my job includes travel from NEW DELHI, chennai cities.

Finally I Came to know that I need to pay some more balance amount around Rs 54, which includes the late payment charges. No body updated me about the latepayment during the earlier communication . After the payment the loan will get close after 3 working days, then I was told that i will be getting the NOC with in a week time.

I waited for 2 weeks Again I didnt got my NOC

I called again

5th time---> I have explained about the issue, and he said that he will be taking the complaint. again with in a week time I will be getting the NOC.

I waited for a week time and wont get any NOC

6th time--> I called to customer care, and the executive is saying that you are the first time calling to the customer care, Again he asked me to submit my RC copy

Its not possible for me to submit again. Because I have many issues which I dont want to share it.

So, I do agree that ICICI bank are poor in service. But I should not got loss from your poor service.

So, Iam requesting Government of India to help me in resolving the issue and recovery my damage. Since ICICI bank is

1)voilating banking ethics
2)violating RBI rules.
3)cheating loan customers.

This is with reference to a two-wheeler loan account no: LTBNG[protected]. I have received the NOC but the name printed on it is wrong its printed as "SUNITHA SHAW". When I call up customer care, I get to talk to Mr. Jayanta Kumar Sahoo who tells me its your problem and not the bank's problem. Look at the way ICICI customer care people talk to the customers. I have been ICICI's customer since past 4 years. THis is the worst service I have ever seen. What they tell me now is to go to Loan Branch and get it rectified.
This is a horrible kind of response one can get for any bank.

It has been over a year since the two vehicle loan has been foreclosed and yet no NOC from the Bank has been received.

ICICIBANK — loan amount is not getting cleared i wanna pay back

Dear Sir

This is to bring into your kind notice that I have my saving ac with your bank A/c no.[protected] and two loan accounts with your bank i.e.
1. LARAJP[protected] worth of 3.50 lakh EMI is 7535 balance EMI's 14
2. LARAJP[protected] worth of 6.50 Lakh EMI is 14063 Balance EMI's 27

Sir My Safari LAN LARAJP[protected] has met with an accident on 5th Feb. 2010 and I requested to Bank by mail to customer care and bank officials in Rajpura Namely Mr. Puneet. But I have not got any reply from anyone. I had been paying my EMI's regularly. After 3-4 months mr. Puneet Wadhawan and Mr Jaspreet from Chandigarh had a talk over the phone with each other regarding my case and Mr. Puneet has asked to stop paying EMI's so that this case can come to them and they can resolve it. To which I followed innocently. Now after 8 months i have not got any reply from Bank officials regarding this.

Few days back i received a call from Mr. Puneet saying that case can be resolved by paying even lower amount But Mr. Puneet and Mr.Jaspreet has be happy. I was not able to understand the word "HAPPY" n i asked to close it on the principle amount i had in FEB 2010 only. To which they said that I don’t need to worry. Bank put on lean on my account of 59K to which I Got Transferred 1.00 Lakh From My sources’ asked them to clear the balance to which they have not don’t it saying that if I will keep them happy they will close my case on lower side.(No written communication has been sent to me). Today I had seen my Account and 74K aprox has been deducted.

I again had a talk with Mr. Puneet and Mr. Jaspreet Today to which again this keeping happy word has came in picture. I have all the mail records and call details of my outgoings to Mr. Puneet and other Icici Officials.

Even after this they have put a lean on my account again without any communication to me. even my all dues are clear.

My request is to solve my Loan account because i am sure Mr. Jaspreet and Mr. Puneet will not close this case untills unless I will make them happy.

You may go through my other loans with your bank where in no chq as of now has been bounced or no EMI has been delayed.

My query is that Is it so that for clearing loan account one has to wait for 8 months and plead in front of officials to close my case on Principle amount I had in Feb. 2010 and still need to keep them happy................................................

ICICI Bank — Two wheeler not delivered

In 2006, I went to Bajaj dealer in Chennai for purchase of Pulsar 150 CC bike. There they had an ICICI bank rep for two wheeler loan. They got required documents and subsequently my loan got approved. ICICI bank gave the cheque to the dealer. But the dealer got the amount and didn't give me a vehicle nor registered any bike in my name. The dealer later vanished. In the meantime i had doubt on the dealer when he was giving excuse for not delivering the vehicle or registering any vehicle i gave him a letter addressing ICICI manager to cancel the loan (i have the original copy of the letter). I have the cancellation letter even before my first EMI (Rs.1945/-) was due.

Since i didn't take the vehicle i bounced the first EMI. I got a new bike from another dealer with Centurion Bank as banker. The EMI of Centurion bank is higher (Rs.2633/-) and due on same date as ICICI bank i happened to clear both the EMI. This happened in the month of July 2006. Few days later i had some funds for personal use ICICI presented the first EMI on 22nd or 23rd July and got the first EMI due also. So they got two months payment from me without delivering the vehicle.

I stopped operating that bank account and started bouncing my EMI because of non-delivering of vehicle. Few months later i started getting calls, letters and loan recovery people from ICICI. I gave them all required details and also a copy of cancellation letter to the ICICI person. One fine day i got a letter from ICICI bank saying that i have cheated the bank and they will file criminal case against me like IPC 420 and IPC 408 etc...

I filled a consumer forum case against the ICICI bank and the case is in the final stage of verdict. Since they have no valid proof against me on the case now they started troubling me from their settlement department.

They say that i had paid 12 months EMI and i need to pay for remaining 24 months. They don't listen to me when i say the case is in the court. They just say i need to pay or else they will list in CIBIL as defaulter. Only mistake i did was i didn't complain to the police when the dealer vanished. At that time i didn't know this will be this serious.

Can anyone advice what best can be done to arrest this issue? Anyone had similar problem that i had.

I've already maintained my balance of 10, 000/- in every quarter and the they have mentioned Oct to Dec 09 so in that case why they have deduct the PrivilegeQABChgs amount. this is unexpected. very Disappointed.

I joined ICICI with a min account balance of 10, 500 (since mid 2007). My account bal has always been in 12k-20k range since then. Recently I saw QAB charges for approx 552 Rs. even though I didn't go below 10, 500 in any case. When contacted ICICI I was told your account is of Silver privileged and you had to maintain 40k min account balance. When I told them I did not receive any call OR mail from their customer care. I was told - we cannot help - as per our account statement - you had to maintain the balance - which was not done.

I do not know where and How to escalate when I am hearing such statements from the bank itself.

ICICI Bank loan — Incorrect transaction made for the loan account

Details of complaint:

I have a loan account with ICICI Bank for which a payment was due on the 5th of Dec 2008. I made a deposit of Rs 10000, to my HDFC bank account for an ECS payment due for ICICI (EMI of Rs. 6018) however, the ECS had already gone through in the morning before I made the deposit. Unfortunately, I did not have the funds in the bank early in the morning at the time of the ECS going through and had to incur returned check charges. The documentation for ICICI bank does not mention that the ECS will not be tried again in the day. My understanding was that the ICICI bank will still transact the payment later in the day which is usually what any bank would do. I did not receive any notification from ICICI that the payment did not clear, but when I checked my HDFC account again, the money was still there.

I called up ICICI Bank after two days and asked them about this, they told me the payments are not sent back to the bank if not cleared in one go. I asked them how to make the payment and I was asked to go to a loan office and make the deposit which I did on the 6th of January - 2009 (receipt number - O-[protected]) including the extra charges required to be paid. The total payment was around Rs 6440.00 The ICICI Bank had told me they would not transact the ECS again as the payment was made in cash and the January ECS 5th of Jan - 09 had also cleared. For me that was the end of the story here.

However, on the 17th of January - 2009 I received a notification that another payment of the same amount, Rs. 6108 was presented to my bank for the December payment, when there was nothing due on the account. Since this payment was not due I did not keep the funds in the account, the previous pending amount had been paid in cash, I called ICICI Bank up but to no avail. The bank acknowledges that the payment was incorrectly put to the HDFC bank, but has no ways to rectify the returned charges put by HDFC on my account. This incorrect transaction and an additional bounced check charge can'not be removed by them. I sent them an email to get a confirmation, stating that the ECS transaction on 17th Jan - 09 was incorrectly sent to my bank for transacting. However after repeated followups they have not been able to take care of the request.

I would like to register a complaint against the fellows at ICICI Bank for ridiclous customer service. It seems they do not demonstrate any fear for any governing body which can take action against them.

I am using ICICI credit card regularly. It was expired on 05/11. I have changed my resi. address, but not informed to ICICI. Whether I will get reneved card on my new address. Let us inform me the procedure. So that I can get the card proper

ICICI Bank Ltd — Reversal of amount

I did a transaction of 1391 rs (July end) on IRCTC which was unsuccessfull, so i got the amount credited back to my account in 4 days, however it was again deducted by bank saying they have not received the amount.

I called them several times then they raised complaint and said it will take 35 days to get back the amount. I've received teh confrimation email from IRCTC which give payment reference number and all and amount being credited back on 4-Aug. I waited for 35 days and date when i was supposed to get credit which i got a written confirmation from bank was 12-Sep however credit was not done. when i called up and enquired it took half hour and they said it will take more 35 days, as a customer i didn't had any other option than just wait. and i got the written confirmation that amount will be credited on 19-Oct, and again on 21-Oct but again as usual it was not done.

Again i had to call and ask the status so after speaking to manager he said he will give me call back on saturday (24-Oct) and credit back the amount which was not done as usual. again i called up on sunday i.e. 25-Oct and got the amount credited on monday i.e 26-Oct.

I didn't received any reply from their nodal office nor the headofservice and they didn't kept me in loop of anything.

Kindly suggest is there anything which can be done against bank as they have holded my amount for more than 80 days inspite of i receiving the irctc confirmation in 4 days.

I have an emi account no. [protected] against card no. [protected]. As per my best information I had cleared the all previous dues in the month of Dec-2012. Even after, I have been sending the dues of 1366.22, why I dont know. After paying my full settlement i called up their delhi call center no. [protected] and ask the lady that before sending me any other statement or adding any late payment fee kindly call me on this number [protected] and also update this mobile number in your records as I am unable to open your email statement as I do not remember my document open password. Even after submitting my request more than 6 times neither any one has updated my new contact number neither informed me for adding late payment fee also for for what? Now I should clear one thing to icici bank that neither i am going to pay a single penny for this rubbish late payment fee nor to write u again. i will file my complaint directly to reserve bank and also to media channels to show your working style for looting unnecessary charges with the customer.

My Clear Loan no. LAN LBJAL [protected] i recived sms on 31.7.2010 on 11.31am via TM-ICIHFC Dispatched to me refund of rs/- 4094 Cheque no 228719 via BLUEDART Courier AWB No[protected] but till today i have not recived about this refund .
