Dear Sir,
i have an motor policy with ICICI Lombard Insurance . (https://www.icicilombard.com/) my policy was about to renew, and in website they have mentioned that we can renew policy by availing Interest free EMI, below is the screen shot of the information hosted on website.
link is https://www.icicilombard.com/Content/ilom-en/Images/popup/emi_inside.htm ( dated 1st October 2012).
Avail of Interest Free EMIs when you buy insurance online through your ICICI Bank, Citibank & HDFC Bank Credit Cards
ICICI Lombard brings you the facility of paying your premium in Equal Monthly Installments (EMIs) of 3 or 6 months at interest free rates! All you have to do is purchase your insurance policy online through your ICICI Bank, Citibank & HDFC Bank Credit Card.
How does it work?
Choose the product you plan to buy and log in to Buy Online
Fill in the transaction details
Select to pay in EMIs through your ICICI Bank, Citibank & HDFC Bank Credit Card. Choose from the EMI Period options according to your convenience (3 or 6 months for ICICI Bank, Citibank & HDFC Bank Credit Cards)
Access your policy immediately online*
The EMIs will be automatically charged to your monthly credit card statement.
Note: Please note that the EMI facility is only applicable on ICICI Bank, Citibank & HDFC Bank Credit Card, subject to minimum annual premium of Rs. 10,000
* Subject to underwriting in the case of Health Insurance
But while paying, there's no option for paying Interest free EMI using HDFC , Citi bank .. they have mentioned false in the website and making all users to belive in that and opt for policy, with that option only i bought motor insurance from ICICI LOMBARD, Can you please assit in this how to proceed.
Regards,
Arun

ICICI Lombard Health Insurance — Policy Renewal
I have taken a Family Floater policy (Policy # 4063/FHR/03624377/00/000) 2 years back .The policy has to be renewed this month.I did not get any reminder for premium payment which is also acceptable.I enquired the branch and after frequent follow ups I have received demand notice only on 11-June-2009.My policy is due on 14-June-2009.After receipt of demand note I was very much shocked that they have changed the complete nature of policy by dividing the policy in two groups and also increasing the premium to a very large extent.
Can the existing policy be modified ?
Please help me what should i do in this circumstances.
