My Name is Rewins Raj & I am holder of Heath Insurance Policy no. 4034i/HIR/05253672/00/000 with ICICI Lombard. I am holding this policy for over 5 years & the policy is on auto renewal on my ICICI credit card. I am also a Customer with ICICI Bank for over 10 years.

For the last renewal, the team from Lombard had called me & taken a telephonic confirmation on renewal. Since I did not get my renewed health cards after 60 days, I had been in mail conversation with ICICI customer support team & Swapnali Parsekar is in touch with me on mail since 26th August, 2012.

To my utter shock, I find that there has been some lapse by the renewal team & my policy has not been renewed. The policy covers my entire family including my wife & 2 children.

ICICI Lombard had also upsold a top-up health policy 4113i/XOL/05779309/00/000 on 24-Jan-2011. I am informed that this is active while my base policy has been lapsed. Also the top-up policy has no effect if the base ploicy is not active!!!

I am running pillar to post to get my original policy renewed. Since the time I had raised this with their Customer Care team, I am getting calls from them to buy a new policy. I firmly suspect that the ploy is to make me buy a new policy at a higher premium, since my 5-year old policy now has much lower premium since there are no claims.

This is seriously an unfair practice by ICICI Lombard to sell new policies to their existing customers, by not renewing the exisiting policies.

I seek support in getting my concern addressed & a strong warning given to ICICI Lombard in trying to take their Customers for a ride.

ICICI Lombard Health Insurance — Policy Renewal

I have taken a Family Floater policy (Policy # 4063/FHR/03624377/00/000) 2 years back .The policy has to be renewed this month.I did not get any reminder for premium payment which is also acceptable.I enquired the branch and after frequent follow ups I have received demand notice only on 11-June-2009.
My policy is due on 14-June-2009.After receipt of demand note I was very much shocked that they have changed the complete nature of policy by dividing the policy in two groups and also increasing the premium to a very large extent.

Can the existing policy be modified ?
Please help me what should i do in this circumstances.

ICICI Lombard-Health policy — Unnecessary - Renewal

I had taken ICICI policy last year for my parents.

The polity term expired in July & i got calls from them to renew the same.

I had clearly mentioned that i am not interestd in going for the renewal still they charged me on the Credit card.

ICICI LOMBARD POLICY — Renewal of policy

I had a health poilcy numbering 4034/FHR/04153823/00/000 and it expired on 18th Sep.

I have been holding this policy since 2006 and had paid premium of 7000, 7043, 7443 Rs.

July they told me that i have to pay 8760Rs. I asked them to send the intimation. I did not receive it.

I again made a request (id: [protected]) but i didn't recieve again.

Then when i called the ICICI LOombard office, I was in for a shock. They told premium is Rs 20531. When i enquired they told its for 6 Lakh.

Initially i had the policy for 2 Lak. Now they say 6 lak and premium is an increase of almost 200%.

I have been calling customer care non stop since 2 days but they just end up transferring the call and it gets abruptly ended.

I do not know what to do. How can they increase the insured amount from 2 lak to 6 lak..

ICICI LOMBARD POLICY — The status of policy after 1.5 years is still Medical test pending

I took policy for my mother from ICICI Lombard, after more then 1.5 years the status of policy is still Medical Test Pending when I talked to ICICI lombard they are always telling me that I do not need to worry about this but they are not changing the status.
The medical test was already completed by ICICI and it was quite good so I am not sure why still policy status shows this status.
Can someone help me and let me know where to put this complaint

MY CASHLESS CLAIM HAS NOT BEEN SETTLED COMPLETELY.ICICI LOMBARD IS A ROOBER COMPANY.I AM HIGHLY DISSATISFIED AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIER PRODUCTS TO ANYONE ELSE.IT IS SUCH A PATHETIC COMPANY WITH PATHETIC CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND CORPORATE CARE.NO ONE RESPONDS TO THE EMAILS SENT.THEY ONLY HAVE AUTO-GENERATED EMAILS.ONLY KNOW HOW TO RUN WAY FROM THEIR WORK.

      I had renewed my car insurance with ICICI Lombard on 3//3/2012 and is valid till 3/3/2013 midnight. When I signed the form the company had not mentioned about the salvage charges and no where even now its mentioned. The surveyor who surveyed my car also had no explanation to what this charge was and he admitted that there is no policy mentioned in the insurance form, but still they are charging the salvage charges. This is an open fraud by the company or by the employees. I hope everyones aware of this and a stringent action is taken against ICICI Lombard.

      People please never ever take ICICI Lombard Insurence.

        ICICI-Credit Card - ICICI-Lombard — EMIs even after LOMBARD Policy got cancelled

        I am facing problem from ICICI Credit Card and ICICI LOMBARD.

        I had a ICICI Credit Card. One day I got a call from ICICI LOMBARD regarding their mediclaim policy (4034/FPA/02377893/00/000) and I said OK to that policy… On my consent LOMBARD had opened a mediclaim policy and per month premium of amount approx INR 250.00 started deducting from my Credit Card since AUG-05-2007.

        Besides this policy they have opened another policy and started deducting amount of around INR 260.00 from my credit card since AUG-10-2007… On my complaint on SEP-11-2007, they cancelled the fake policy and reversed the amount to my credit card on OCT-07-2007… issue got resolved…

        Observing this cheating behaviour of ICICI-LOMBARD, I requested ICICI-LOMBARD to close my original mediclaim policy (4034/FPA/02377893/00/000) on SEP-21-2007… and the policy got closed on SEP-24-2007… I thought the thing is settled now… but what I saw was really socking for me… ICICIC Credit Card again charged me against this policy on OCT-10, NOV-10, and DEC-10… I contacted ICICI-LOMBARD customer care as well as ICICI-Credit Card customer care regarding this and asked them to stop charging me the amount and reverse these EMIs… but they did not do that… they kept on charging on my credit card besides several request to stop doing so…

        I've written them lot of mails and talked over phone many times… but they seem to be least interested in this… This has been a stressful experience with them that is still giving me mental stress and as a result I am not able to concentrate on my work and other activities…

        Now, I want to take a legal action against them and that to not only for the reversal of my money but also for the compensation to the other damages I have encountered with.

        Same as above written complaint is mentioning I too sufferd alot, I had ICICI credit card, card no [protected] and all of sudden ICICI LOMBARD polycy got stuck to my credit card with an phone call , for 1 yr i paid it properly then i felt its of no use, so I had a telephonic conversation to card people and i pleaded please donot give any money to Lombard since i dont want to continue any policy I have sufficient already. But to my bad luck I was banging my head to wall of stone, nothing happen and on day with my depression i broke the card and handed it over, but still my statements were coming i had no idea that Lombard is Immortal and u can not stop it. Now since from more than 2 yrs there is no purchasing from this card even policy is allive why so? Dont you understand we have hard earn money with spending so much seat and blood, over that Very nice looking and behaving recovery agents been send to add our depression now if money is not reverted I feel like killing my self.

        ICICI Lombard Health Insurance — False Commitments and delay in POlicy Renewal

        I was purchased a Health Insurance Policy No. 4034/FPN/00240731/00/000 in October'2005 for two year. For renewal I received a call from ICICI Lombard Dept in October 2007 and I gave them confirmation for the same in this sequence i was received a call from ICICI Credit card department. I received a message from telly caller that your policy renewal is done, but i was not received any renewal document from their side.

        Again i received another call in first week of January '2008 to renew this policy from ICICI Lombard. same process repeat again, i received a confirmation call from ICICI Credit card Dept than i replied ok please Dr my account with amount. Strange after one month i was not received any renewal document from their side.

        After many call to helpdesk no and many online chat I received a fresh policy from ICICI Lombard. I am continue in touch with ICICI Lombard's customer care executive Ms Renuka Vure from 4th Feb through email. Still not getting any answer. It is a case of cheating. I am trying to renew my policy and gave them two time for renewal confirmation, than why they send me new policy. I lost my two years no claim bonus and loyalty through this unacceptable transaction of ICICI Lombard.

        I called many time to helpdesk no regarding this matter, i received same answer from there side that they will send me renewal notice with in 5 days and strange i was not received any one paper from their side.

            I got the ICICI Lombard Health policy (4034i/FPS/04836776/00/000) for my parents in 2009 .I am paying the regular premium from last three years .This Year I have't received any Reminder from the ICICI Lomabard regarding the renewal premium ,When I called to customer care for pay the Policy Renewal as I was unable to trace the policy papers and thinking that it is due in the month of Aug/Sep . I was shocked to hear that my policy is already expired on 15 Aug 2012 and I can't cont my policy Even with some sort of plenty on it.

            I have't rec any kind of Reminder Letter or mail from the company side for renewals .Earlier company use to send me mails regarding the renewals.this year there is no communication from company side .This is clearly showing the company is not interested in give the health benefit to clients as all the benefits will start after 4 year .We already completed the 3 year so they are intentionally not giving any reminder to clients.they are saying to start with the new policy where all the benefits will start again after first 4 year .

            I think they are playing with the people's hard earned money .We should bring this to public notice and to honorable court's.

              I have buy new online medical policy on 28th July 2012 from ICICI Lombard buy paying Rs 12689.
              my policy number is W-9326337.i have completed medical test on 30th july 2012 and authorize lab has take 1500 RS for it for two person which is 300 Rs more than normal fee.after two few days i got one email that your policy is cancelled but they did not given why the policy is cancelled ,they did not send any medical report copy or cancellation report and i did not get refund for my policy fee of 12689 rupees.
              I have three times emailed to [protected]@icicilombard.com and [protected]@icicilombard.com but i did not get email reply even after one week.
              i called to customer care on 16th Aug 2012 about my policy refund and medical reports,cancellation report and they told me i will get it by 20th aug 2012 but i did not received it and i have again call to customer care on 21th and they told me i am giving new complain number ,you can get update by 1th September 2012 .they are not giving any proper reply and not giving any email reply so i need to write at here.
              my complain numbers are [protected],[protected],[protected].

              I am waiting for my policy refund(12689 + 1500) and medical report ,cancellation report.

                Sir,
                This is to submit humbly for your kind consideration the following facts-
                I took a policy(HOME SAFE PLUS) from ICICI LOMBARD vide policy no-4065/ICICI-HSP/1851326/00/000 & 4013/ICICI-HSP/236573/00/000
                on 15/12/2008 hor my home loan no-LBDEL[protected] from their adviser Mr Manish Gupta at Chandigarh.
                However later I came to know that I had been mis-sold the policy by him leading to a prolonged payment
                in the form of EMIs despite the the policy being valid for only 5 years.
                On learning this I got in touch with their officials on multiple occasions and was assured each time by Miss Simran from ICICI LOMBARD that the
                problem will be soon sorted out.
                When this did not happen then finally on 15 feb 2010 I decided to discontinue the policy and submitted my request accordingly.
                I was assured that policy shall become ineffective with immediate effect .However to my utter shock they continued to deduct EMIs
                and are still continuing despite repeated assurances from them(Sir aapko worry ki koi jarurat nahi hai.Ye sab aapko refund ho jayega.Kabhi-kabhi thoda time
                lag jaata hai.)
                Now they have even stopped taking my calls.
                My earnest request is that all my EMIs(Rs 3836/-per month since MAR2010 till date alongwith interest may please be refunded immediately without any further delay.

                  For more than 30days icici staff priya mob no.[protected] is not picking and before that she said you can call me for claim and other purpose regarding insurance.....
                  Before paying icici is speaking well and after paid none will help.....Icici lombard is 100 % cheat.......

                  Recently a girl called from icici lombard t.Nagar branch and compel,force and gave wrong info and renewed the policy last month of june 2012....I also agreed and paid for the renewal around rs.10,311 aprox she also told me that proof of the policy will reach me after 15 days of my payment but now the date is july 16th but till now i did not get any proof of the policy but my money as been detected one month ago...

                  If i call that gal priya mob. No. [protected] she is not picking and if i call from some other number and if tell my name she is giving the mobile to some guy and telling wrong number..I am totally afraid that she is a cheat and i am worried why icici is selecting such cheap illiterate girls who is not capable to answer the client....Where as she is a real beggar who begged me to pay for the policy in behalf of icici......


                  I do not know how to get my money or policy back......That girl is illiterate or icici is training that sort of activity....I want that girl to answer me that is in icici's hands.....

                    I would like to mention you that I have been cheated by ICICI Lombard Insurance Sales and Customer representative.

                    Here are my policy information :

                    Policy no :4034i/fpp/02609255/02/000
                    Start Date : 8th Sep 2007
                    Policy Holder Name : Jyoti Yagnik

                    AL Number :[protected] for the claim which got rejected on July 7th 2012.

                    I am a payee for my mother's mediclaim policy since last 5 years.Ever since I bought a policy,It was clear statement made to me that after 4 years, all the pre-existing diseases will be covered.

                    I made a claim on April 8th 2009 for my mother and claim got rejected saying it is a pre-existing diseases such as diabetics(pre-existing disease) will be covered only after 4 years.When I spoke to ICICI Lombard customer representative,they are not able to find any information on this claim.This is shameful where company don't even make a history of patient records.

                    I renewed this policy every year and also paid 5th year policy payment from[protected].

                    Couple of days back,My mother admitted to hospital and her claim got rejected with same reason which you mentioned in April 2009.When I spoke to your customer representative,they said that since you did not inform any thing about pre existing diseases when you bought this policy,this policy will not cover any pre-existing diseases.

                    It looks like I am clearly betrayed by ICICI Lombard.Every time, I make a claim on this and claim rejection happened for same reason.

                      Dear Friends, I want to share my experience on mediclaim policy purchased through telephonically from ICICI Lombard Genl. Insu.Co.Ltd. When I was purchased mediclaim policy six years before they have not CLEARLY mentioned any where about cancellation charges OR the sales executives not explaining about cancellation PERCENTAGE whenever they are calling the customer for renewal purpose. If you are going to CANCEL the mediclaim policy even after paying Rupees sixty thousand in six years, they will levy huge amount of penalties and showing by-laws which they have not advised to the policy holder in past (in detail). I am having mediclaim policy of ICICI Lombard for the last six years and I have paid near about Sixty thousand rupees to the Company as premium and also I have not used the policy till date and I have not claimed single rupee from the Company. Now I want to cancel the policy. The Company says that on cancellation of policy they will refund 75% of premium amount if the policy cancelled within a month, 01 to 02 month 50% amount will be refunded 02 to 03 month 25% amount will be refunded. I cant understand how they are calculating cancellation charges ? I dont know that they are giving services within a month amounting to 25% of premium amount ? It means they are giving services 50% equal amount within 2 month. It is my request that in future whenever you purchase mediclaim policy from ICICI Lombard you may please ask them first about cancellation charges. They are also passing time in cancellation so that they are enable to deduct amount for more than one month period in the name of procedures. I have applied one month before for cancellation and they are passing time and informing me about percentage of refund only which is heavy penalty to me. I think ICICI will consider my case humanitarian ground and will not levy heavy amount as penalty and should refund full amount. Awaiting early favourable action please.

                        Myself Shashikant Rehapade and working with MSCI services Pvt. Ltd Mumbai.
                        have customer id-ICICI/MCI/00/000000/141/S
                        I am about to admit my spouse for her maternity on 22nd Sept 20111 and suddenly today I came to know that I am just eligible for another 1000/- as my claim amount.
                        The reason I have been told is that I have already claimed remaining amount of Maternity limit of 50000/-.
                        But in month of May/June when I have tried to confirm this your customer care executive provided me very wrong information as given below.
                        1. Total maternity limit is 50000/ for normal and 65000/- for operation cases. Today I asked executive told me that it is just 50000/- for both the cases.
                        2. She said my earlier claim of 49000/- will be considered as normal medical claim and maternity claim will be is separate. So I can use 50000/- limit.
                        3. After her confirmation only I have selected Network hospital CARE Hospital though it is far away from my house(Nagpur) assuming that I can claim this amount.
                        BUT now,
                        Before only 2 days I came to know how wrong information given by your Executive is going to cost me around 30000 to 40000 more?
                        I am not silly to approach the Network Hospital which is 10 Km away from my home, when small but good hospital are available near to my home.
                        So first of all I just request you to check the recorded conversation I had with your customer care executive. Please don’t ask me her name ..i guess there are various ways to find that conversation( if you are really wanted to search it). If she is still with ICICI then ask her the reason and then get the amount from her if you want.
                        Once again I want to say here please stop giving wrong info to people at least your corporate client.
                        And start recruiting some smart and eligible people who can give customer, correct and detailed information and stop misleading the people.

                          i pramode kumar, bearing icici lombard policy no 3005/68070672/00/B00. claim amount not yet passed. it was nearly a week ago. 3 days back (19/6/2012) i visited the mangalore office. but kiran ([protected]) said, the amount will be deposited on 19 or very next day 20th. but still today (22/6/2012) money not deposited. today i contacted him over telephone , he is saying, it will be deposited on monday. actually, they don't have work on saturday and sunday. if monday going to deposit means, i have to wait 3 more days. mangalore branch people unnecessarily creating nuisance.

                            Hi,

                            I had made a payment of Rs.9529 towards renewal of my 4 wheeler insurance with ICICI Lomabard. Since then till now my policy has not been issued inspite of repeated complaints with their customer care. They giver an assurance that insurance policy will be delivered in a day or two however they have been sending only the old policy and not the renewed one. This makes me feel that they are cheating and looting my money without providing the insurance. Is their anyway that i can get money back from them and raise a consumer cheating case against them?

                              I bought a bike(Karizma) in April 2010 from Khanna Automobiles Tilak Nagar and from there only I took the insurance i.e from ICICI Lombard. They gave us papers which included the insurance of bike as well as the accidental/death insurance. There were no papers regarding any terms and conditions and neither they informed me about any terms and condition and neither I signed any. i had an accident and asked for claim for the damages in the bike. And they gave unnecessary excuses like the dames are 10 days old or that I used glue so they want give claim for that object. And that was annoying as there were no terms and condition for the same. So I took my bike from there and repaired from a local shop. But still I need a resolution that why these Insurance Companies are working in a fraudulent way. Because I lost my money for those Insurance policy that I took and in the end which was no use to me. I hope you would be able to help me in a better way.

                                Since I am away from India I requested to renew my policy on online so that I can pay by my debit card of HDFC Bank. My policy expires by 21 May 2012. I tried my best by contacting customersuport They merely gave me the above mentioned ID. Also informed me that the policy will be online.But till date it never appeared on line. I have already paid claimfree more than a lakh rupee to the ICICI now if they dont renew I will lost the privelege. I am a senior sitizen and have mentle upset due to the behavior of ICICI. I am coming back to India by 1st week of September and definately after coming I will approach the courts specially consumer court. When I Approach the ICICLambard before leaving India to renew my Policy.Cleverly the lady told me that You can renew your policy after April2012 from anywhere in the world.

                                  ICICI LOMBARD is a company that is designed to cheat customers. I am the proposer for a policy for my mother. I have been renewing it every year since 2008. In 2010 my mother got hospitalized in an emergency. She was taken to a in-network hospital. ICICI-LOMBARD denied the CASHLESS benefit saying that her policy is not valid. I confronted them with the documents but they put all sorts of bureaucratic hurdles in the way. Six months went on, I had to complain to IRDA when they finally acknowledged that they made a mistake. Then they asked me to produce all the documents to get a reimbursement. Obviously, I did not have all those documents six months later and they conveniently did not pay us anything.

                                  I am convinced that this is their modus operandi. They do not intend to provide any benefit to any insured. They are plain and simple CHEATS! Stay away from them.

                                  BTW - IRDA did not take any action against ICICI-LOMBARD either. The only way to fight back is by spreading the message.

                                    I am Pravin R Shah, from Ahmedabad. In Dec 2009 i purchased Maruti Swift VDi, from kataria Automobiles, Ahmedabad with ICICI Lombard Car Insurance. "My car was running fine, but on date[protected] while driving the car my driver and my nephew were going to home at prahladnagar, suddenly some smell started coming from the car and immediately on the way they stop and leave the car at usmanpura under bridge and saved their life's. After leaving the car due to some technical fault the car started burning and within 5 five it had taken the hug front portion of the car ( including the engine ). My nephew call the 101 and inform the Ahmedabad fire brigade about the situation. They came after approximate 15 minutes and controlled the fire. " We simultaneously inform the Kataria Automobiles about this situation. Next day the insurance company surveyed the car and took for the total loss as whole engine was burned. With the help of kataria automobile who make us feel good and helped in the frustrating process of claims. But all in vain Insurance company is not resolving the problem and keeps on delaying the process . Kindly help us in receiving the insurance money.

                                    i had purchased icici lombard insurance for my new car on 6th of jan 2011.on the 15 th of june 2011 my car got dashed in the parking.at the same moment i called my maruti service center to ask them what to do,they told me to bring car next day as there was no surveyor on dat day,so i took my car on next day,after that day surveyor calls me,and asks me to bring FIR.which is impossible to bring after 3 days because police wil not entertain for FIR after 3 days.and because of not been able to provide FIR,insurance company is denying my claim.what shoud i do?

                                      I paid Rs.18,100/- by cash through M/s Wings Travels, Pune- 411006 on 16/08/2010 for Insurance policy of my new Tata Indica Car, ICICI Lombard gen. ins. co. Ltd. Policy cover note no. GG 2035979 Dtd 16/08/2010 and Wings Travels Cash receipt no.RC-AUG-064 Dtd. 16/08/2010 . Policy premium is Rs. 13,400/-, I asking for policy to ICICI Lombard, Sorabh hall Building, Pune and Wings travels, Pune- 411006; these people are not able to give me my policy document and also remaining amount Rs. 4700/- . I am following regarding this matter since last 1 Year. Nobody replying me. Please suggest me how to solve this matter.

                                        I am D.Deshakumar who have an mahindra xylo car,my car insurance renewal is on 10th April 2012 i already have an insurance with TATA AIG.But recently a marketing person from ICICI LOMBARD name SASIKALA called me an gave me wrong information that they have a tie up with INDIA GARAGE and she offered me discount and took a cheque for Rs.15,612 for my car insurance renewal.I also gave the cheque thinking that they have tie up with india garage.But few days later i got a call from india garage and the asked me for renewal of TATA AIG insurance.I said i gave to ICICI LOMBARD but INDIA GARAGE has told me they don't have a tie up with icici lombard and the main thing is THE CLAIM PROCESS WILL BE HECTIC WITH ICICI LOMBARD AND I AM THEY ONE WHO WILL SUFFER ALOT TO GET THE CLAIM.Once i gone for a claim with TATA AIG and the claim process was very easy and i was cool and TATA AIG was veery fast in rectifying my claim.But because of hearing wrong information from icici person i gone wrong and want to do STOP payment to it..

                                        i have given complaint about wrong information but those people are not answer to my complaint.
                                        Dear Sir / Madam,

                                        ICICI Lombard policy number 4034i/HIR/05109412/00/000, in the name of SANTOSH MADHUSUDAN MHAPROLKAR. Issused on 23 jan 2010. Amount Rs. 12986.

                                        my previous policy number 4034/CHT/03173104/00/000. which was upto 25 jan 2010. your customer service agent called me for renewal of this policy, which i was not interested in it. His name was Vivek Singh and he had called me from the telephone number 39839800.
                                        when i told him about not interested in renewal of the policy. He told me don't do that as you have finished 2 years and if you cont.. this policy you will get Rs. 15000 in the month of June 2010. I asked him weather he was sure about it. and he said yes. so i took his mobile number [protected]. But when i did not rec'ed the payment in june so i had called
                                        ICICI LOMBARD customercare to inquire about the payment on 20 july 2010. i was talking to Vinay. He said it was wrong infomation given to me, which was really bad. He gave me all the infomation. But i am not happy with it. your customer care agent has cheated me.

                                        I request you to take a strick action on Vivek Singh for giving wrong information. and return my money Rs. 12986/- back by stoping my policy. I dont know how you people going to do that but i want my money back. Otherwise I have to take a strick action againt you people. I know you do the recording. PL I will be thankful. if you people return my money back. waiting for your reply.
