I Mr. Balasaheb V. Gangurde (mob.: [protected]) had applied for a Credit card which I received along with the Secret code number. However, the same has still not been opened or used by me for making any purchase. To my surprise and shock one fine day I received a statement that indicated the premium towards ICICI Lombard Policy which was never purchased or consented to.
On contacting the ICICI Credit card section I was told to contact ICICI Lombard team for clarification. On contacting ICICI Lombard team through my numerous correspondences I was ultimately told that the Voice Recording System sahl be played to confirm that I had consented to the policy. However until date despite repeated reminders for fixing a schedule to hear the VRS, I have still not yet been contacted by ICICI Lombard team to play the same and in fact they just seem to be making promises to play the same in my presence without actually fixing a schedule for the same. The startling fact is that when they sent me the scanned copy of the policy through mail, the original which I have never received, I have found that the mobile number on the policy is that of some Mr. Sawant and not my own.
In this connection I have various correspondence with them which I am pasting below for your perusal with the hope of receiving justice in my case.

Pursuant to my various correspondences on the subject matter with the ICICI bank through e mail regarding an amount debited to my credit card No. [protected], I have been advised to contact your office to sort out the disputed matter. In this regards I submit that I have never purchased any policy as claimed by the bank in this regards. I therefore fail to understand why an amount has been debited to my Credit Card Account when no purchase has been made by me from ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd. Further this is to inform you that I have not even received any policy for which the amount is debited to my credit card account.

The error committed on your part has put me to great convenience as my application for housing loan number [protected] has been kept in abeyance due to this outstanding amount shown on my credit card account. Kindly sort out the matter at the earliest as I have applied for a housing loan for purchase of a flat for residence purpose and delay in getting the same processed shall put me to further inconvenience.

Kindly do the needful at the earliest failing which I shall be constrained to approach the Consumer Grievance Cell to not only seek justice in my case but also claim compensation for the inconvenience caused to me.

In view of the above I once again request you to cancel the subject policy which has been erroneously / fraudulently issued in my name and clear my outstanding that are shown against my credit card.

I once again inform you that my Housing loan application which is in the pipeline has been kept on hold due to this outstanding shown against my credit card.

Since Summer Vacations have begun concerned persons who shall be present during the playing of the VRS are not available in station.

    Hi,
    I booked my four wheeler policy with ICICI Lombard on 29/Sep/2011. I made a transaction through my HDFC credit card, my account got debited when confirmed from customer. But as per ICICI Lombard agents it is not reflecting in there system. So i re-initiated the payment same day, now later on came to know from one of there customer care agents that the A/C has been debited but because of there technical problems they were not able to list my transaction. Now its been more then 12 days i have been calling them daily but still getting fake promises from them everyday that they will resolve this issue by today evening. But still its a mystery till now what is happening with my policy.
    Now i am loosing my patience & need to go consumer court & need to raise a complaint against ICICI lombard because as per RBI's new rule if customer's query's are not getting resolved with in 7 working days we can complaint against the organisation.

    Please suggest me what to do & how to proceed further.

      Pls find the below mails for your kind perusal,
      I am the customer of ICICI Lombard my mother was health policy holder of ICICI Lombard (4063i/HAP/W-537370/01/000 ).
      She was admitted in the hospital for heart surgery .Since I am working in corporate company I used the my corporate facility of cashless with Bajaj Alllienz for Rs 3.00 lacs .Unfortunately my mother treatment was extended as well my bill also extended upto 7.00 lacs.During that time I spoke to my corporate office they suggested me that they will trying the corporate buffer I was in that impression I have not used and informed to the ICICI Lombard which my mother already existing policy holder ( 4063i/HAP/W-537370/01/000 ).

      Later I had submitted all my bills to my corporate office to get the corporate buffer.But I couldn't get the same all my bill got rejected.

      Then i approached to ICICI Lombard this all taken near about 200 days. ICICI Lombard rejected my claim mentioned in the bellow mail.

      I am humbly requesting you to could you pls help in this regard take this into consideration since I had spent more than 7.0 lacs for my mother hospitalization though I am not affordable I had continued treatment for my mother unfortunate she was no more evenafter long treatment.

      I had borrowed from different sources and I had continued the treatment bcz she is my mother I can't leave in between the treatment.
      I fought for till the last minute to recover my mother .and my other confident to continue the treatment is ICICI Lombard is with me they will reimburse the eligible amount.

      Once again I am sincerely requesting due to small reasons rejection shouldn't be happened .Kindly consider my case and do the needful.

      Note : ICICI Lombard till now they not returned my documents ie bills ,reports and other related docs.

        My wife was admitted in hospital for 10 days in August. After discharged i send all papers to icici lombard health insurane for claim.
        Now icici lombard health say claimant had SLE dieses and we not paid for this claim.
        Doctor give opinion letter that this dieses is not connect with previous dieses and its not SLE dieses.
        Before this claim i received my privious claim payment in month of june. And that time doctor mention that the pationt had SLE disese.
        So how can they pass that claim? And reject this claim?
        And also i ask to icici lombard health that please provide your licence no., state of licencing, Doctor who reject this claim ragistration no., and give medical reson to reject my claim. But they are not give me any type of clearification.

        This is to inform that I had brought a ICICI Lombard Home Insurance(Contents) from Reliance Fresh Outlet in Chennai. When I brought the insurance they informed me that all the contents are included and it is covered for fire,lightning,power fluctuation,earthquake etc. But now when I go for the claim they intimated me that it is rejected becos it is not covered and the attitude of the ICICI was very unsatifactory.

                This is TUSHAR D. MOUNDEKAR
                I have applied for Maruti Omni (eight sitter) & vehicle No. MH 32 C 1142. Insurance with ICICI Lombard Insurance and the payment of the same is made by Credit Card dated with 03/11/2010. After payment I contacted to the customer care authority of ICICI Lombard and I got information that survey of car take effect after 24 hours of payment, now 7 DAYS have passed but no reply from company.
                I have 3-4 times contacted to customer care but sorry to say that they are not interested in taking necessary step.
                Please take necessary step to solve the matter.

                    It is quite surprising, that how come your company is taking such type of actions with out any corspondance, communication with your officials. Frequency of such type of incidence are increasing day by day which really irritates the old customers like me. I here by declaire that in future if at all, I fill to take up any of your Insurance Policy I personally will approach you. Now I request you to Cancel the above said Health Insurance Policy which is not required by me.

                    Kindly note that such type o[censored]ndue communication should not be repeated in future.

                        I have an accident of my car XYLO UP16X0520 ON 12-AUG-2011 on Greater Noida Express highway (rainy day), the accident is covered by insurance of your company icici Lombard( certificate cum policy no.3001/59444392/01/000),but we are not getting claim for some accidental part, it is found that Mr. Divendar (surveyor of icici, having i.d no.9621) first started to say not to give claim on front broken glass later after argument he give the claim of glass , but again he hold my back part of the car by saying that there is tape on the tale light, I request him many times to give claim on the hit part but, he refuse by saying that, this accident is not justifying, as there is rust on that part, I replied him that I will pay for the pervious(rust) part but give me for the rest( major part) of the hit part that is held on 12-aug-2011, but he refuse to do so.
                        It seems that we are cheated by your icici lombard company. First, you shows your good part, but, after time of claim on accident, we have to go to your office many time rather than going to hospital. Is this is your customer care? We do not have energy to do all this activity by leaving our important work.
                        So I request you to kindly resolve the problems in 24hrs, as after accident we are already in trouble.
                        If you will not resolve this problem we will go to court and also display the fact publicly so that rest of other (customer) will not get suffer by ICICI LOMBARD. This is not for Rs.8000.00 but it is the customer who is always gets cheated.
                        I just do not want to go to court but if you insist we will do.

                        icici motor insurance — Nonreceipt of motor insurance from ICICI

                        Sir,
                        I have purchased a scooty from Hirakud Agency, Main Road, Rourkela and they have gien a copy of certificate cum policy bearing No.3005/55589163/00/000 dated 03.12.2008 of ICICI motor insurance.
                        Despite of several request the Hirakud Agency, Rourkela not giving the original insurance till the date
                        and telling the same has not been received from ICICI Insurance company.

                            I have motor (4wheeler) insurance with ICICILombard – previous year[protected], had one claim in the year 2010,

                            Again renewed the policy for year Sep 2010 – Sep2011 through online (ICICILombard.com) , while filling up online, I gave previous policy information also.

                            After renewal sale is done for Rs.5768. In this moth(August 2011), Vehicle got damaged due to minor accident on the road, when I went up for a claim,

                            Insurance company is asking me to pay NCB (non claim bonus) around Rs.1500 , as their system calculated or did not have information of my previous year claim.
                            Unless I pay that amount back to company, they are not willing to give claim money.

                            My concern was I gave complete information about previous policy online and also informed that there was a claim in previous policy, and made a renewal online.
                            If their system or process did not check the details properly at the time of sale, After the sale, that to while we go for a claim, it surprise that I have to pay back the money.


                            Why should I pay? If the company showed initially that amount, I might have chosen a different insurance company. By showing fancy advertisement 20-30% of previous premium,

                            One consumer enters into insurance policy, Company started threatening to pay back money, otherwise creating issues with claim amount?

                            Is that reasonable? Please advice.

                            This is a pathetic service by ICICILombard customer service. They do not want to think about the complaint, except they have standard answer to asking for paying back the money.

                            Please do not believe in 20-30% reduction of previous policy statements by ONLINE SALES by ICICILombard, As they have hidden charges once you become the customer.

                            Even if customer wants to cancel the insurance, They would ask for another alternate insurance, This is mere cheating by the insurance companies.

                            Customer should have full rights cancel insurance without having other insurance...whats this? ALL LOOTERS HAVE NICELY KEPT THE RULE TO CHEAT PEOPLE!

                            I have put a complaint to IRDA, waiting for the clarification...

                              ICICI Lombard Insurance Co — Transaction not nullified.

                              I am having Credit Card with your bank and its No. is [protected].

                              Last month I have booked on Health Insurance Police through ICICI Lombard Insurance Co. Ltd., However, the same was canceled due to some technical reasons. They informed me that since the policy was not issued, the premium amount of Rs.15, 000/- initially debited to my credit card will be re-credited and there would be no liability to me.

                              When I received my credit card statement, I found a debit of Rs.15, 000/- but there was no credit. Since the transaction was nullified, there should be no outstanding.

                              I request that this may kindly be looked into and do needful.

                                Motor Insurance Cert No 3005/13029641/10164/000 dt 21 Mar 11. I write
                                down few lines for your kind consideration and favouable action pl. I
                                bought a new vehcle on 18 Mar 11 and insurance alongwith the veh. On
                                29 Apr my brother Mr Surjit Kumar yadav met with accident, on the date
                                of accident he was holding LD(learner DL) as well as he had already
                                applied for the Permanent DL, he received the DL on 05 May 11. We made
                                request accordingly, a svy officer visited and told us to deposite the
                                veh to the nearest Hero Honda Agency for repair. Now the veh is ready
                                for delivery they are now saying that the cost of the repair is
                                52,000/- which is now required to paid by us as that at time of
                                accident the driver was holding Learner Driving Licence. But as you
                                are aware regarding issue of DL. If you apply for DL it takes minimum
                                10 days, we have already applied for the DL on the date of accident. I
                                have few points to discuss that are as under :-

                                (i) If the claim was not in order why the svy officer insisted us to
                                deposit the veh for repair, we would get repaired whenever we have the
                                amount as said.

                                (ii) The Defination of Driver to drive Veh is . Any person
                                including insured provided that a person driving helds an effective
                                driving licence at the time of accident and or not disqualified from
                                holding or obtaining licence.Provided aso that the person holding an
                                effective Learners licence may also drive the vehicle and that such a
                                person satisfies the requirement of Rule 3 of Central Motor Vehicle
                                Rules, 1989

                                        My auto had gone under a minor accident a month ago.We have registered a claim to ICICI LOMBARD helpline.The complain no is MOT02109654.but unfortunatly after several reminders to the local officer Mr Alok Kumar Pandey and Mr vivek we have not received any survey till date.after several complaints to above officer.It seems that they are misguiding us on the Issue

                                        ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Motor Theft Claim Not Received

                                        My car has been stolen on 30th Jan 09 . I have registered the claim vide claim no. MOT01013911with ICICI Lombard on the same day and submitted all the documents along wih FR of Police for non tracable on 25th Mar 09 . I have been following the officials of ICICI Lombard since than and getting no satisfactory reply. Despite all the formalities and regular follow up the claim h6as been delayed for 6 months.
