Misguidance regarding Healh Policy.ICICI LOMBARD
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am receiving ICICI LOMBARD Customer Care Mrs.Namrata Daily Morning Phone Call at 10:00 A.m.to 11:00A.m. mails from Policy Bazaar highlighting the Family Health Policy.
I had a complain about ICICI LOM services. Hope you Branch Manager look after such requests. Incase you do not look after such complaints then please let me know the alternative where I can get justice.
I have applied Siliguri ICICI LOMBARD Sevoke Road,office and proposal from Branch Manager Mr.Avinash Cell No:[protected] kind of health policy fromdated:19/08/2011 ICICILOMBARD. However I am a S.B.I.Cheque No.960288 Rs.7,473/-Clearning dated:26/08/2011 ,I have know recieved message on my Mobile No. [protected] that the 19/08/2011 -indicating that No Message"I have know My policy Number/ Thank you for registering with icicilombard.com."

    Dear Sir,

    I have not applied any kind of health policy from ICICILOMBARD. However I recieved message on my Mobile No. [protected] on 20/08/2011 at 4.00PM indicating that " Thank you for registering with icicilombard.com."

    I recieved message again on 29/08/2011 at 4.53pm on the same Mobile No. that "ICICI have dispatch my health policy on 26/08/2011 by first flight wide AWB No. ZB5320224."

    It is quite surprising, that how come your company is taking such type of actions with out any corspondance, communication with your officials. Frequency of such type of incidence are increasing day by day which really irritates the old customers like me. I here by declaire that in future if at all, I fill to take up any of your Insurance Policy I personally will approach you. Now I request you to Cancel the above said Health Insurance Policy which is not required by me.

    Kindly note that such type o[censored]ndue communication should not be repeated in future.

      I Raj Rani S Agarwal having policy no 4034i/HIR/03801864/01/000 had under gone ''ANGIOPLASTY'' the papers for the same were submitted at your CHEATER Lombard Department HYDERABAD. Today 29/8/2011 I received a call from YOUR CHEATER DEPARTMENT a person calling himself as MR.RASCAL PRABHAKAR having the most IDIOTIC phone no[protected] telling me that your claim as well as my policy has been rejected and cancelled due to their own SELFISH DESIRE TO EAT OUR MONEY OF AMOUNT Rs 2,94,738=00 FOR their FANCY DREAMS. If this was not enough they did not ACKNOWLEDGE to return our PREMIUM AMOUNT of 1 year of policy which is pending with them which I feel THAT THEY REQUIRE FOR THEIR DAILY FOOD AS THE COMPANY IS NOT FIT TO PAY THEM

        Dear Mr.Rajeev Kalara (Area Manager ICICI LOAMBARD),
        I have an accident of my car XYLO UP16X0520 ON 12-AUG-2011 on Greater Noida Express highway (rainy day), the accident is covered by insurance of your company icici Lombard( certificate cum policy no.3001/59444392/01/000),but we are not getting claim for some accidental part, it is found that Mr. Divendar (surveyor of icici, having i.d no.9621) first started to say not to give claim on front broken glass later after argument he give the claim of glass , but again he hold my back part of the car by saying that there is tape on the tale light, I request him many times to give claim on the hit part but, he refuse by saying that, this accident is not justifying, as there is rust on that part, I replied him that I will pay for the pervious(rust) part but give me for the rest( major part) of the hit part that is held on 12-aug-2011, but he refuse to do so.
        It seems that we are cheated by your icici lombard company. First, you shows your good part, but, after time of claim on accident, we have to go to your office many time rather than going to hospital. Is this is your customer care? We do not have energy to do all this activity by leaving our important work.
        So I request you to kindly resolve the problems in 24hrs, as after accident we are already in trouble.
        If you will not resolve this problem we will go to court and also display the fact publicly so that rest of other (customer) will not get suffer by ICICI LOMBARD. This is not for Rs.8000.00 but it is the customer who is always gets cheated.
        I just do not want to go to court but if you insist we will do.

        icici motor insurance — Nonreceipt of motor insurance from ICICI

        Sir,
        I have purchased a scooty from Hirakud Agency, Main Road, Rourkela and they have gien a copy of certificate cum policy bearing No.3005/55589163/00/000 dated 03.12.2008 of ICICI motor insurance.
        Despite of several request the Hirakud Agency, Rourkela not giving the original insurance till the date
        and telling the same has not been received from ICICI Insurance company.

BUT THEY HAVE REFUSED TO RENEW IT. SO, I HAVE GIVEN COMPLAINTS TO ITS CUSTOMERE CARE AND SHE HAS GIVEN ME FOLLOWING SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER 30811409 ON 03/08/2011 AND GIVEN THE ASSURANCE THAT IT WILL COMPLETED WITHIN TWO DAYS. BUT AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS AND AFFORDS MY WORK IS STILL PENDING. I HAVE APPROACHED TO LOCAL OFFICE AT ICICI LOMBARD, BHARUCH BUT I DIDN’T GET ANY SATISFACTORY ANSWER.

            I have motor (4wheeler) insurance with ICICILombard – previous year[protected], had one claim in the year 2010,

            Again renewed the policy for year Sep 2010 – Sep2011 through online (ICICILombard.com) , while filling up online, I gave previous policy information also.

            After renewal sale is done for Rs.5768. In this moth(August 2011), Vehicle got damaged due to minor accident on the road, when I went up for a claim,

            Insurance company is asking me to pay NCB (non claim bonus) around Rs.1500 , as their system calculated or did not have information of my previous year claim.
            Unless I pay that amount back to company, they are not willing to give claim money.

            My concern was I gave complete information about previous policy online and also informed that there was a claim in previous policy, and made a renewal online.
            If their system or process did not check the details properly at the time of sale, After the sale, that to while we go for a claim, it surprise that I have to pay back the money.


            Why should I pay? If the company showed initially that amount, I might have chosen a different insurance company. By showing fancy advertisement 20-30% of previous premium,

            One consumer enters into insurance policy, Company started threatening to pay back money, otherwise creating issues with claim amount?

            Is that reasonable? Please advice.

            This is a pathetic service by ICICILombard customer service. They do not want to think about the complaint, except they have standard answer to asking for paying back the money.

            Please do not believe in 20-30% reduction of previous policy statements by ONLINE SALES by ICICILombard, As they have hidden charges once you become the customer.

            Even if customer wants to cancel the insurance, They would ask for another alternate insurance, This is mere cheating by the insurance companies.

            Customer should have full rights cancel insurance without having other insurance...whats this? ALL LOOTERS HAVE NICELY KEPT THE RULE TO CHEAT PEOPLE!

            I have put a complaint to IRDA, waiting for the clarification...

            BEWARE OF ONLINE INSURANCE SALES, MERE CHEATERS!!

              ICICI Lomabard Insurance people are calling me for the past Three months on a daily basis in my mobile number [protected] and disturbing me asking to take insurance. I have clearly refused that i am not interested to take insurance in their company several times when they called me.(they have called from the numbers-[protected],[protected],[protected],.[protected],[protected],[protected]... after i had marked all the numbers to my reject call list also they are calling me in a new number on a daily basis.This is a big nuisence caused by ICICI Lombard for public like us. Kindly do the needful to avoid nuisence like this.

              ICICI Lombard Insurance Co — Transaction not nullified.

              I am having Credit Card with your bank and its No. is [protected].

              Last month I have booked on Health Insurance Police through ICICI Lombard Insurance Co. Ltd., However, the same was canceled due to some technical reasons. They informed me that since the policy was not issued, the premium amount of Rs.15, 000/- initially debited to my credit card will be re-credited and there would be no liability to me.

              When I received my credit card statement, I found a debit of Rs.15, 000/- but there was no credit. Since the transaction was nullified, there should be no outstanding.

              I request that this may kindly be looked into and do needful.

                Respected Sir,

                I am Ashok Kumar yadav serving in Indian Army ,Holding ICICI Lombard
                Motor Insurance Cert No 3005/13029641/10164/000 dt 21 Mar 11. I write
                down few lines for your kind consideration and favouable action pl. I
                bought a new vehcle on 18 Mar 11 and insurance alongwith the veh. On
                29 Apr my brother Mr Surjit Kumar yadav met with accident, on the date
                of accident he was holding LD(learner DL) as well as he had already
                applied for the Permanent DL, he received the DL on 05 May 11. We made
                request accordingly, a svy officer visited and told us to deposite the
                veh to the nearest Hero Honda Agency for repair. Now the veh is ready
                for delivery they are now saying that the cost of the repair is
                52,000/- which is now required to paid by us as that at time of
                accident the driver was holding Learner Driving Licence. But as you
                are aware regarding issue of DL. If you apply for DL it takes minimum
                10 days, we have already applied for the DL on the date of accident. I
                have few points to discuss that are as under :-

                (i) If the claim was not in order why the svy officer insisted us to
                deposit the veh for repair, we would get repaired whenever we have the
                amount as said.

                (ii) The Defination of Driver to drive Veh is . Any person
                including insured provided that a person driving helds an effective
                driving licence at the time of accident and or not disqualified from
                holding or obtaining licence.Provided aso that the person holding an
                effective Learners licence may also drive the vehicle and that such a
                person satisfies the requirement of Rule 3 of Central Motor Vehicle
                Rules, 1989

                  with due respect i was an policy holder of Icici lombard car insurance last year. My policy no is 3001/57758970/00/000 of ford fiesta car on name of anil golecha
                  add : G-73 Shastri nagar jodhpur and contact no is [protected]. I request them to provide my NO CLAIM CERTIFICATE (NCC) but they are saying that your policy has been experied last year and we cant provide you NCC after 90 days but while taking insurance they didn't said any thing about this matter. Now i have taken insurance of my car from united india insurance co and they require NCC for their knowledge
                  Regarding this i need your help for NCC.

                    i have health policy no. 4034i/FFH/W-282779/02/000 from icici lombard since 2008. and it will be renewed every year. now when i am concerned the customer care of icici for renewal of this policy they have denied to renew it. my policy will be expired on 20/08/2011. they are saying that i have made a claim last year so they cannot renew it. if you have no claim during policy year then only they will renew it.so, as per my opinion ICICI IS POOREY PARIVAR KI POORI TENSION.
                    ICICI LOMBARD IS HOPELESS. RECENTLY IN MARKET PEOPLE HAS NO TRUST ON THEM.

                        ICICI Lombard General Insurance — Motor Theft Claim Not Received

                        My car has been stolen on 30th Jan 09 . I have registered the claim vide claim no. MOT01013911with ICICI Lombard on the same day and submitted all the documents along wih FR of Police for non tracable on 25th Mar 09 . I have been following the officials of ICICI Lombard since than and getting no satisfactory reply. Despite all the formalities and regular follow up the claim h6as been delayed for 6 months.

                          Had insured my unit - The Littel Factory with ICICI Lombard. At the time of taking the cheque and discussions, something else was committed. Last year, there was an unfortunate incident and fire at the premises.

                          It was shocking how ICICI just ran from it's responsibilities.

                          I have written several times to the authorities. But they have not responded satisfactorily. Many mails/couriers have been sent to them but to no avail. A few conversations are being attached herewith.

                          I am hopeful that something will be done in this regard.

                            I have an insurance policy from ICICI Lombard ( Policy number 4034i/FFH/W-021631/03/000 ).
                            I made a payment via cheque (ING Vysya Bank cheque no .156371 Rs 5920 dated 2 june 2011 ).Cheque amount is also deducted from my bank account.
                            But till date ( 7th july) my policy is not renewed . Company people say it is expired. No body giving me proper answer.
                            Please help me on this.

                              Greetings to you,

                              I am forced to register my resentment & complaint to get attention from higher authorities from ICICI Lombard insurance. Now days, everybody is irritated to receive unwanted calls from people selling insurance, loan, telecomm products or various other offering. There should be a limit, some strict code of conduct on unauthorised interaction for these tele calling agencies & individuals.

                              I am receiving end number of calls from this particular number [protected] selling ICICI Lombard insurance, since past one month. They are arogant people, not ready to hear & determined to call me 4 to 6 times daily (at odd hours), although I informed them that I don’t require any such product or any investment related offer & was never ever interested to avail any kind of relation with this particular company. Please help me to share my views with concerned authorities at ICICI Lombard to do the needful.

                              I am an Insured person from ICICI Lombard for last 2 years. Myself and my wife have been covered for 3 lacs and 25 lacs each for family floater. Now I have lodged a claim for reimbursement for my wife's illness on 22nd March 2013, claim has still not settled more over there is a harassment from ICICI Lombard. Their Panel Doctor visited 4 timed to verify the documents and also to see the patient. Doctors from other Units also calls up at any time to confirm the patient's illness. I really do not understand what is the mission of ICICI Lombard? When you are not interested in their Products, they harass you. Once you take their Product and by any chance if you lodged a claim, they again harass you as they do not want to pay.
                              Our Company wanted to shift Motor Insurance to ICICI, however, when I narrated may incidence, we may not go for them, we have almost 8 to 900 vehicles.
                              I would not advice any of my friends to go for ICICI Lombard for any sort of insurance.

                                My Motor vehicel bearing Number TN32C9165 met an accident on 27.4.2008 and the intimation was made to the ICICI Lambord insurance company on the same date. The vehicle was sent to authorised service station for repair works on 29.4.2008. The above vehicle repair charges come to Rs.66498(Carriage Bill only) and other repair charges, recovery charges, come to Rs.20000/-. The vehicle was ready after repair on 03.06.2008. But the insurer will not made any payment to the carriage. So I had pay all the expenses and take delivery of the vehicle. I had made request to the above said insurer about the claim several times, they will not take necessary action to settle the claim. After three years they had sent a cheque bearing number 135190 dated 20.4.2011 to my address by courier for the amount Rs.38842.00. They will not issue any survey report. only half of the amount will be sanctioned and for the claim they will take three years. ICICI lambord a fraud company on settling the claim amount to the policy holder.

                                I hav policy of icici lombard insurance since 2010...ma car hd met wd an accident now i wnt to claim the policy..for the repair of ma vehicle...but manager of icici lombard office at vashi is beehavng so arrogntly not even responding properly and insisting on selling of vehicle at total loss ...i told him i wnt to repair the vehicle...i want sumone who can help me and guide me properly...i had vry bad experience with icici insurance ppl...kindly help me...

                                  I would like to draw your kind attention to misleading policy wordings of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. This is regarding health insurance policy#4034i/FFH/W-1815226/01/000 sum insured (Rs 3,00,000) renewed on 13th June,11 for Rupees 5,920. I included one extra member in the policy this year & paid an additonal sum of Rs 1,400 for the same.


                                  As per their renewal benefits stated in the policy wordings: "A customer is entitled to receive an additonal sum insured of 5% for a claim free year" I didnt make any claim last year & as per the policy wordings i should have been given an additonal sum insured of 5% on 3,00,000 amounting 15,000 & ideally my renewed sum insured must be 3,15,000 but they didnt increase the sum insured.

                                  I made several calls to the customer service team & droppeed several emails to them but so far all in vain. Their senior managers are either busy or they dont come to attend the call. I would really appreciate if some one could please look into these misleading policies of the health insurance companies & provide us the immediate resolutions.

                                    I purchased health policy for my mother.The base plan for cover 300000. was suggested with top up plan of rs 800000 cover.A medical chekup was required by the company but company did not manage medical chekup.But amount of rs.3033 for top policy was deducted from my acount.I call several times for medical chekup but failed.Now i want to refund my premium for topup plan because without base plan top plan is use less.policy details are as follows.

                                      I, Amal Kannan, would like to inform you that, I am having a Health Insurance Policy in your esteemed ICICI Lombard Insurance bearing policy no. 4005/M/0000009/84855,
                                      claim no. 70211647

                                      I met an accident on 07.02.2011 and there was a fracture in my wrist. So, i was admitted in Columbia Asia hospital and undergone for a surgery. Since the charges of the hospitalization was so high I was discharged on the same day. Later, I claimed the bills through Professional courier (Consignment No.[protected]) dated 26.02.2011. After sending a courier to your company we got no response from you that too when we spoke to your Customer Care Services we came to know from your representative that after 60 days he/she will give the confirmation. But, no response from your side. When we called again to your representative they are responding to us that, your form got rejected and as per the terms and conditions they will refund the payment when the patient got admitted in hospital for more than 24 hours. But, in my case it was 22 hrs hospitalization was recorded.

                                      Since, you have a very good reputation in the market I made a policy and also referred most of my friends to join the same even i refererred my dad's company to insure their employees for the same. When i got the negative response from you i am totally disappointed. You are not asking it is a major or minor accident you are just relying on the timings. If you are providing this kind of a serices to the clients then it will be a big disappoint to them. Insurance companies should be transparent especially medical insurance as people are totally relying on your services that too your firm is a well reputed then you should be more responsible towards the clients. If we call to the concerned, the response is so bad that the way they speak to us is taking our mood to the other stage. Whenever we call there is only one response from your customer care services is "I WILL CALL BACK LATER AS WE ARE NOT GETTING THE DETAILS IN OUR SYSTEM". So, please look into this matter seriously and do the needful for the same at the earliest.

                                        Regarding the cancellation of my travel policy number 4050/2069944/00/000 and according to your mail on 9 may 2011 I the customer care team was to get in touch with me in 48 hours and today it has been one month.
                                        There has been no reply to my previous mails and I am extremely unhappy and angry by this ignorant attitude of icicilombard towards my continuous requests.When I had taken the policy from your company executive I was assured that in any case of denial of my visa my full premium amount will be reimbursed without any problem but it seems nobody at icicilombard seems to care after they have made their policy sale.This is my last and final mail to you after which I will have to approach some legal authority.

                                        ICICI Lombard Travel insurance — Travel Insurance process is a mess

                                        I bought Icici lombord travel insurance for my mom while she was visiting states.
                                        I paid about 25k for prem which covers 6 months of her travel period .
                                        I was told that any cash less claim approvals will be done by 24 to 48 hours and they have a united healthcare group policy in the states that cover icici lombord customers
                                        Here is the messy part
                                        My mom got injury and she had to take treatment, we tried prescription medicine and x-ray now doctor want us to get MRi scan , I approached icicic to get an approval. Every time I call them I get diff info from diff people, after a week I was asked to fill up a form and send some documents to start he process. I sent all of them on they same day . Gave them india doctor details to make sure that it's not a pre existing condition , and treating doctor details for any enquiries..it's been more than 2 weeks now, no progress. Worst part is when doctor off call then united health care guys with the policy no provides by icici, they r saying that they don't have info about the patient. I have been literally calling icici every night ( they work in india timings)and told them That UHC does not recognize my mom name. everybody that I talked to so far says that it will be done in24 hours.nothing happens so far
                                        Icici is royally cheating the customers. I can't even escalate this, the only sour e that have is to call their toll free number , but they always tell the same thing and they can't do anything about it apart from making a note of it

                                        If there is any documentation missing from my end which may delay the process I agree, but UHC does not even have my mom name in their system.

                                        Its like we just have to pay the prem, but when we r in need they will not even consider ur call seriously

                                        Want to sue these guys, but not sure how to proceed.

                                        Any suggestions will be highly appreciated

                                        Gaveesh, I agree with you, you are abosulutely correct here, I am the victim of the same, bought 02 travel insurance policies, 4030/W-2900583/00/000, 4030/W-2900849/00/000, the Visa got rejected, they were reluctant to even cancel the policy and were gaining time, even after sending the reminders, they did not even reply to the mail or to my phone, there was no answer, then the excuse was the rejection papers not received, the file size is heavy, they gained nearly 15 days of daily follow ups, now they are finding problem with the papers for one of the policies, the refund has not reached yet, please guide me also, so that I can also approach.
